Welcome back to the Lab! Today, I'm pleased to introduce you to Parrotain!

#008 Parrotain
Water Type
Pirate Pokemon
After evolution, this Pokemons love for the sea just grows stronger and stronger! In the wild it is often seen ordering around smaller water type Pokemon as its makeshift crew. Some have been quite successful, having sailed hundreds of miles across the oceans.

For some odd reason, other Pokemon seem obliged to follow orders from Parrotain, and it is this beneficial attribute that grants the Pokemon its unique Intimidating Presence ability. Any Pokemon with at least one stat lower than Parrotain may be intimidated when faced with Parrotain, leaving it with a 10% chance of not being able to attack.

Like Parrat before it, Parrotains' specialty is in its' special based moves. Saying this, however, its new Metal Claw move, gained upon evolution, can often come in handy during tight battles! It is currently unknown why the metal hook develops upon evolution. Some think the Pokemon may simply be holding it as a weapon, where others believe it to be a part of its' arm. Some trainers have been known to shy away from Parrotain, and even abandon it after evolving from Parrat, due to the fear of what it may become in the future.

So, if you dare, join us tomorrow to learn all about Pokemon #009 Spectain!

Hey, look, it's an awesome ruffly pirate shirt! Nem, this drawing is awesome, and so is the sprite. Parrat is just getting better and better.

I'm curious, does it perform Metal Claw with it's hook or with it's claw?
