I'm completely stuck for ideas on assorted characters/creatures for a fantasy story I'm working on. Basically the main character goes into a mountain where the boundary between universes is thinnest, and as a result ends up in completely different universe where he has to fight 'dark beasts' as they are called, and put an end the evil sorcerer who created them in the first place.
The world is separated into three lands, Crystalarians own the north-western part, mostly mountains and plains, which they divided into several different lands, though still all named under the same name, the Crystalary Lands.
Most of the south is incredibly mountainous, with a complex cave system dug out by the Silvarians through the thick rock, though it's mostly inaccessible from the other kingdoms if you don't know where to look.
And lastly, the main location of the story, the Sky Kingdom, which is solely forests, with maybe one or two mountains near the edges of the kingdom, the Skyyreans subtly divide the land between the dukes and duchesses, the sons and daughters of the grandruler, into the Boundary Forest, Courtyard, Mountain Forests and Fine Forests, though the divisions don't really do much.
A few notes, Skyyreans have pale colours or shades of grey for their hair and eye colours, Crystalarians have more middling tones and Silvarians have dark hair and eye colours.
All of the clothes they have are typically linen and a tiny amount of leather, save for Skyyreans, and the clothing colours are the same as the possible eye and hair colours for their kind, occasionally interspersed with dark colours, or white for Silvarians.
The story starts on the 18th of December.
Crystalarian Nobles are generally Counts and Countesses, Silvarian Nobles are generally Marquesses and Marchionesses, Skyyrean Nobles are generally Lords and Ladies.
~Names are similar to English ones, but are made up and have a few rules of their own; Skyyrean names typically begin with 'M' or 'N' and can't have four or more syllables, Crystalarian names are typically less than seven letters and end in hard sounds, Silvarian names are typically 9 letters or more and have more 'soft' sounds than 'hard' ones.
Whew, huge wall of text out of the way, as the title says, I need help with some characters/creatures for this story.

For dark beasts/water beasts just describe their appearance, preferably what animal they're based on too, most of them look at least somewhat shadowy.
