The rising sun. A symbol of hope, new beginnings, and redemption. And now, such sun shall rise on the beginning of a new tale - one of doubts, fears, and hardships, but ultimately one of love, glory, and friendship!

All these thoughts ran through Kishi's excited mind, his surroundings whizzing by, while being escorted by limo to U.A. Though he got in via recommendation and was offered the opportunity of watching the entrance exam, he decided he didn't want to get any further head-starts over his classmates - getting to know them and their quirks was always the fun part!

Eventually, the black limo parked outside U.A.'s entrance, and Kishi stepped out, glaring at the building where he would be spending the next 4 or so years, making memories and getting stronger. Before he could set out on his adventure, however, he heard a familiar voice call him from behind.

It was none other than his father, Yuga Aoyama.

"Mon petit garçon." said Yuga, now looking at his son with big, proud eyes.

"You've come such a long way, my knight. The coming years will be tough, more than you could ever know...but no matter what, you must not stop twinkling. Let the whole world - no, the universe know how brightly you shine."

Kishi tried to keep up the stoic act, but upon hearing those words, he couldn't help but tear up.

"Father...I'll make you proud. I'll shine so bright they'll compare me to the sun AND the Suneater!" He exclaimed, his eyes burning with determination.

"I expect no less." Replied Yuga, smiling, his own eyes beginning to twinkle. "Your mother will be by to pick you up in the afternoon. Au revoir."

And with that, Yuga got back into the limo and drove off. Now turning his attention to the building before him, Kishi stepped forward, determined to make his father, mother, and himself proud.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Kishi walked toward his classroom, he couldn't help but listen in to what some of the other students were whispering about. A dragon? 'Shock-collar kid'? and all in 1-A with me? Why, fate has blessed me with comrades of wonderful quirks! He began to walk faster, until he stood right outside class 1-A's homeroom door. With a deep breath, he walked in, looked around, and stood at the center of the classroom.

"Hello, friends!" He exclaimed, grinning widely and his eyes shining .

"I am Kishi, Kishi Aoyama. Son of Yuga Aoyama. I just wanted to say I'm really happy to be with you all here today, and that I hope that during our years here together, we can grow stronger, and together, shine brighter than the sun!"

He pumped his fist upward, his face looking even brighter now. And then, he... just kinda stood there, seeing if anybody was going to reciprocate his energy or even respond.

Ru nodded as he stared in awe at the girls quirk. Who- who gave this cute, tiny creature permission to be so powerful. With the dragon in the back and the beast squad right behind them, Ru suddenly felt very out of place with his simply quirk. When the girl asked for his quirk, Ru's cheeks flushed- was it even worth showing at this point? "It's, uh, kinda lame..." the boy began as his eyes wandered the room, "I can secrete a glue like substance from my hands. It's... sticky?" Ru attempted to summarize. Eh, that was good enough- she'd figure out his quirk soon enough, once they were prompted to use it. The classroom was still filling up, it seemed. And the teacher was nowhere in sight.

Samara
Sam rested her chin on the desk, moving the pencil back and forth across the wooden surface and following it with her eyes. If the morons around her didn't get the best of her, then the boredom surely would. Sam let out an audible sigh and flicked her attention, momentarily to the front of the room. There, a boy was giving some sort of speech. Sam wondered how she had managed to filter something so loud out, she must've been adapting to the... passionate... classroom, already. Though the student at the front was somewhat different than the others, rather than causing conflict he was trying to unite the classroom- in a futile attempt, it seemed. A smile crept it's way across Sam's lips and she nodded out of respect for the bright-faced male as she watched him wait in anticipation to gain a friend.

An Aoyama? Dakarai thought. I wonder if he also has a laser-related quirk. She was inclined to scoff at his show of openness, but that was because her father was a jerk who said everyone he was in highschool with was weird, especially Aoyama. So in an attempt to rebel against the aggressiveness in her, she smiled. “Nice to meet you,” she said. “I’m Dakarai Bakugo.” She didn’t need to say more. Or at least she didn’t want to.

Relieved that he wasn't forced to sustain that pose forever, Kishi rested his gaze on Dakarai. He opened his mouth, about to say something, but seemingly changed his mind upon hearing her last name.

Bakugo? Dakarai Bakugo? I see, so she must be...his daughter.

Just the mention of that last name was enough to make Kishi nervous. When Kishi was a small boy, his father used to tell him many stories of U.A. days, from the numerous attacks and tragedies, to the fun and light-hearted school festivals, and random stories about disco balls. Kishi always knew his father was weird, but that was why he loved him all the same.

One thing his father always talked about were his classmates and friends, and from what Kishi had been told, his father had very...colourful personalities in his class (him included of course), one such personality being Katsuki Bakugo. According to his father, he was vulgar, arrogant, and disrespectful among other things, yet, he apparently cared deeply for his classmates and had some sort of code of honor, despite all his negative qualities.

While Kishi didn't entirely understand how these 2 opposing sides could manifest in one person, he did understand what it felt like to be the child of a pro hero, especially one that graduated from U.A. of all places. He didn't know the slightest thing about her, but he at least knew that she is a different person to her father, just like how he is a different person to Yuga, and at the end of the day, he simply has to respect that and give her a chance.

"...Miss Baku- Dakarai. Its a pleasure to a meet you. I hope we get along!" He said, donning his usual smile and giving a big thumbs up.

Now feeling a bit more relaxed and confident, he took a seat closest to the front desk, crossed his arms proudly, and began to think.

"Name's Takumi Akibano. Nice to meetcha." Takumi replied, assembling a small new gizmo of some kind and latching it to his right wrist cuff. He then walked up to the teacher's desk and placed an eraser on it. Then, making his way to the back of the classroom, he made sure no one was between him and the desk, lifted his hand, took aim, and pressed a button on the new device. A small claw shot from the device and grabbed the eraser before reeling it back to Takumi's location like a fish on a hook. "Alright, firing mechanism works just fine. Now I just need to test how much weight it can support..." he muttered to himself, fiddling with the eraser as he went back to his seat.

Yuuki looked at Ru as he explained his quirk, "that's sounds really useful for like apprehending people and stuff like that" she said before finally noticing about Ru appearance, "your parent is a pro hero, why did you lie, you dad must be Minoru..." she then remembered what she said "oh my god I am so sorry, i didn't mean your a creep, that's just what my dad said might be true, I really am sorry by the way, I'm just really not fond of guys like your dad especially as I'm not even into guys" she said looking down at her desk, her cheeks red with embarrassment.

Dakarai winced internally, noticing the misstep and feeling embarrassed. How stupid can you be? Everyone who knows who your father is is going to think you’ll be a jerk just like he was! Just introduce yourself with your first name, dimwit! Damn. That’s no way to make friends. Don’t mention your father anymore. She smiled tightly to cover it up. He wasn’t nearly as weird as her father had made Aoyama seem. Maybe he wasn’t judging her? She sighed. Oh, well. It was what it was, and she’d have her chance to get top marks in the quirk aptitude test her father had told her about. What animal parts would help?

The classroom door slid open once again, a tall, bald fellow with a sharp glare walking in and sitting at the teacher's desk. He was still dressed in his hero costume, so it was clear he had run into some trouble on the way to work. Nevertheless, he didn't apologize for being late, nor did he say a word to his class until he set his bag down behind his desk. Instead, he wrote his name on the board in both Chinese and Japanese, and looked to everyone in the room. "Take your seats." he said simply. Takumi resumed his seat by Kireiji and Dakarai as he continued.

"Welcome to U.A. High's hero course." He said, "My name is Lao Xienfu, hero name; Chrome Cranium. And I'll be your homeroom teacher for this year. First off, some ground rules." He turned back to the board and began writing again. "First off, you only get one free pass for being tardy. After that, you better have a good excuse for not being here on time, starting today. Second, I don't care what you all do to pass the time here in homeroom, but any manner of misconduct will be met with swift punishment. Third, when I'm speaking to the whole class, it is in your best interest to pay attention. Any questions?"

Kishi couldn't help but feel a shiver down his spine at the sight of the new homeroom teacher. While there was a lot to talk about, from his hero costume to his fluency in what looked like Chinese, above all was his head. His sparkling, shiny head stood out the most.

My, my....that glorious chrome scalp! Surely no other entity on earth could ever match it's brilliance. I feel like I'm going to be blinded at any second by it's excellence! I know I promised to shine brighter than the sun, but...this shine is like no other! Beyond the realm of Sun and Suneater! Its....Its...

These intense thoughts ran wild through Kishi's mind, causing his eyes to widen and glare intensely at Mr. Xienfu's head.

Dakarai nearly jumped out of her skin at the sudden appearance of their homeroom teacher, but somehow managed to stop her wings from shooting out of her back. If I get through today without decimating my uniform, it will be a pleasant surprise. Then, Swift punishment for misconduct? Would sprouting wings that tear up the back of your uniform be considered misconduct? She sighed. It was going to be a long year. She was glad she had at least two people she could consider friends.

Ru shrugged along as Yuuki talked about his quirk, but at the sudden mention of his father the boy jolted upright? How did she figure it out? I mean, they didn't look that similar- did they. The boy's face tightened slightly out of disgust by the comparison, a nervous chuckle escaped his lips as he rubbed the back of his head awkwardly when the girl began to frantically apologize. The words that left her mouth were kinda jumbled, but Ru's brows raised at the last couple of words. She didn't like... guys? The young male blanked for a moment before his eyes grew wide- Oh! Ru blushed for a moment before an actual smiled spread across his lips- that was great news! If she was gay, that meant they could be friends! "Yeah, I'm not too fond of him either." Minoru said after a moment, he was about to say something else when the door opened an the teacher walked in. Everything about the man screamed authority, and honestly Ru was more scared of him than anyone else in the room. He nodded intently at the man's words. Perhaps he couldn't compare to the other's in quirk strength, but being on the teacher's good side might give him a little edge.

Samara
Sam's head popped up when a new body entered the room, her tail swished excitedly as the man lectured. So he was the teacher? Sam narrowed her eyes before gasping, their teacher was Chrome Cranium! Despite her father being a pro hero, Sam got majorly excited each time she met a pro. It was just so amazing to think about. The same guy who was apprehended real, live villains and saved peoples lives- that same guy was going to be speaking to her on a daily basis. As thoughts ran rampant through the girl's head she got visibly more and more excited as a grin grew and her tail moved more and more rapidly.

As he awaited questions, he took out a clipboard and placed it on his desk facing the students. On it was a blank piece of paper. "Sign your names here to indicate your presence in homeroom for rollcall. Make it easy to read, too." Takumi stood up and did just that, signing his name on the paper with the provided pen. So, this is the Akibano who was born without a quirk, yet was accepted into U.A. through recommendation. I wonder how he managed that... The teacher thought to himself.

Miku's eyes widened as he saw who was their homeroom teacher was. He didn't look like the awesome hero with big muscles/heroine with luscious hair that he had invisioned. It was some old chinese man with a bald head. And apparently, his hero name was Chrome Cranium.
"Does that mean that his head can change colours?" He asked himself, quite confused by Mister Lao.... Mister Xienfu... Whatever. "Or does it mean that he has a thick skull?... Now that I think about it, better not to ask him that."
The next thing he heard was that he had to walk to the front of the classroom and sign his name on some sort of clipboard. But he was so far away, since he was in the back of the classroom and he didn't know if he could make it. Well, he definitely could, but he didn't want to get up. So after the first kid was done, he stretched his arm all the way to the front desk, picked up the pen, then wrote his name, 'Ashido Miku' right beneath the first boy's. He couldn't see anything, but he knew he wrote his name in a straight line, and that you could understand his writing, since he had a typical girl's writing from the fifth grade. Once he was done, he put the pen down and retracted his arm back.
"Done." He said as he leaned back in his chair, trying to relax while the others were going up front.

Tetsuma looked up when he heard more footsteps coming toward the classroom, he was expecting another student but it turned out to be the homeroom teacher this time. He didn’t recognise them at all, and as he introduced himself and told everyone his hero name he still didn’t ring any bells. Tetsuma took a guess that his quirk might have something to do with his head, seeing as how it was unusually shiny, even as far as bald people go.

When asked, Tetsuma was the third to get up and write his name down on the clipboard for roll call, before silently walking back to his seat.

Yuuki smiled at Ru when he seemed to become less awkward after she informed him of her sexuality, after hearing that he wasn't fond of his father, she started to say something when the teacher walked in, so instead opted for a swift pat on the back before walking to the front to right her name down and then returning to her seat where she created a ball of shadow that she had slide around her hand and arm out of slight boredom.

Hiro knew he saw the man before, he just couldn't remember where. When he was called up, he went to clipboard and wrote ひろ きりしま(Hiro Kirishima). "Ah a kirishima, I fought with your dad a couple times, so I have a high expectations for you". He said loud enough for the class to hear. Hiro gave a relieved look, but then once he sat down he realized that this wasn't good. If chrome dome there has high expectation that means that I'm gonna find this a hard year, he thought. He rested his head on his table, as a few eyes turned towards him, and now people are gonna think I'm a teacher's pet, he thought.

( Gamefreak1996 said that me and the teacher could have some sort of relation, so it's not autoing)

An Ashido, eh? He certainly seems to have inherited his mother's cheery attitude.

This is a new one. Well, so long as puts as much effort to learn as I am to teach...

Tokoyami...Well, guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in this family line in terms of quirks.

As each student signed their name, Lao's internal comments continued. As soon as everyone present had signed the sheet he provided, he stood up and went back to the blackboard. "Okay, listen up, everyone. For homeroom today, we're gonna be heading outside to take the Quirk Apprehension Test. Just a general analysis of your skills with your quirks so I know what we're starting with." He explained, writing the events on the blackboard. "We'll be doing this outside on the P.E. grounds, and I expect all of you to give it everything you got. Is that clear?" Not waiting for a response this time, he made his way to the door and opened it. "Follow me."

"Hold on, Mr. Xienfu?" Takumi asked, raising his hand, "You said this was a quirk apprehension test, right? So, what if my hero costume was tied to my quirk in some way?"

"This is a test of physical ability, not a costume test." Lao replied bluntly. "You'll just have to make do." Takumi grumbled at this, but didn't press further. He knew doing so would only get him in trouble.

“Quirk Apprehension Test, huh... well I guess it can’t be helped.” Tetsuma thought to himself as he stood up and followed his new teacher to the P.E. Grounds, he knew that his quirk was average at best thanks to his overheating problem, but he would probably still be able to get some pretty good scores in. So far it seemed mostly everybody was the child of a pro hero, which was something he had deduced from roll call, and this made him feel a little out of place since neither of his parents were anything super remarkable.

Gumoto was next to rise from his seat and sign the paper. He had never really paid much attention to heroes outside the ones his mother directly worked with, but now that they were on the topic of quirk apprehension he began pondering his teacher's quirk. 'Chrome Cranium...maybe enhanced head ramming? Or perhaps he can use he can use that solar flare move from the one anime.' He snuck another glance at Lao as he walked outside. 'Nah, I doubt it. He looks way to scary to have a quirk like that.'

Minoru
Ru watched Yuuki get up, but he didn't move at first. The boy waited until most the class had already gone up before he slowly. Ru's hand hovered over the paper for a bit, well there wasn't anything he could do to hide his identity at this point. He carefully scribbled down his name on the paper in a font that was legible but not exactly neat, he then returned to his seat with a huff. After just a moment of sitting, the teacher spoke up again. Quirk Apprehension? Ru bit his lip and let out a low sigh, this was gonna be rough. His quirk gave him a very specific set of skills, probably not skills that he was going to be tested on. The boy just knew this was going to be embarrassing, not only did his quirk not help his physical strength, but he wasn't strong as a person either. He never planned on enrolling in a hero school, so he never trained or anything. Ru let out a final groan before standing up, he waited for Yuuki to join him before walking out the door- "I guess it was inevitable." Ru muttered mostly to himself before offering the girl a smile, "I guess you're quirk is pretty handy as far as brute strength." Ru said after giving some thought, "...and all other aspects." he added with a sigh. Why was he cursed with such a weak quirk?

Samara

Sam nearly jumped out of her seat as she skipped to the front of the classroom to write her name down, adding a smiley face in each of the a's in her name. She had completely forgotten about all of the early commotion, it seemed like most of the class did- or they were choosing to forget it. Samara grinned when Mr. Xienfu said "Quirk Apprehension" she clenched her fists excitedly. Oh yeah! She might not have the powers of a dragon, but when it came to brute force Sam rarely dissapointed. She was more skilled in combat than her father was at her age and and she trained her tail to be even stronger than either of her arms. The girl confidently followed behind the class as they all walked out the door.

Drayda watched as their homeroom teacher came in and... He was super familiar. Like really familiar. Chrome Cranium? Sounded like he's got a pretty tough and thick skull, but she highly doubted it had anything to do with his comprehension if he was a teacher. Drayda saw the clipboard and stood up. She gingerly walked forward and pulled out a mechanical pencil, writing her name in a neat cursive. Her mother taught her how to write in cursive, but the art of cursive writing wasn't being taught for some reason. She flashed Chrome Cranium with a smile before writing down "Drayda Tatsuma" and waited for everyone to start leaving. She specifically waited for Hiro and Inanis to write their names on the paper before she left with them towards the gym.

Quirk Apprehension test, eh?

Being so distracted by Mr. Xienfu's glorious dome, Kishi had completely forgotten to write his name on the register. He jolted out of his seat and marched over to the front desk, writing his name down on the thin piece of paper. He also took the time to glance over the names already written.

...Mineta? A very smiley Ojiro? Ashido? Even Dark Lord Tokoyami's offspring? Its like a reunion! I had no clue there were so many of us here. Quelle surprise! (what a surprise!).

After having finished writing his name down, he turned his attention to the flock of students now following Mr. Xienfu down to the P.E grounds outside. Kishi's quirk wasn't anything too wild, but it had it's uses. He also trained his body a fair amount, being gifted with a taller and somewhat bulkier frame than that of his father's.

But, having not seen the entrance exam, he was excited to learn all the different quirks his classmates had, from the offspring of former students, to the 'Dragon Girl' and 'Shock-collar kid' he had overheard rumors about, to the completely new faces!

With that in mind, Kishi locked onto the otherworldly shine of Mr. Xienfu's glorious dome, and followed him out of the classroom along with the other students.

Once they had arrived at the grounds, Lao turned to his class. "Alright, I'm gonna split you into groups and you will all cycle through the activities laid out. Use your quirks to assist you in any way you can, but do NOT interfere with other students. Now let's see..." He paused as he looked over his students.

"For group one, let's have Takumi Akibano, Samara Ojiro, Kishi Aoyama, and Yuuki Tokoyami."

"For group two, we'll do with Drayda Tatsuma, Dakarai Bakugou, Miku Ashido, and Minoru Mineta."

"And for group three, we'll have Hiro Kiroshima, Gumoto Sekkenko, Kureiji Yaoyorozu, and Tetsuma Nakamura"

"As for those who are late, I'll assign them into groups when they get here."

Takumi, once his name was called, walked over to one of the other students in his group, Samara, with another greeting nod. "Sup." As the students grouped up, Lao planted a sign in the ground to explain each of the activities:

50 Meter Dash: Run 50 meters as fast as you can.
Ball Throw: Throw a ball as far as you can
Standing Vertical/Long Jump: Jump as high or far as you can (depending on which you're doing) from a standstill
Repeated Side Steps: Hop between the two marked lines over and over. Do as many as you can in 30 Seconds
Distance Running: Run for as long as you can, wearing the provided pedometers.
Grip Strength: Squeeze the device as tightly as you can; 3 Trials
Sit-ups: Do as many sit-ups as you can
Seated Toe Touch: Sit down and reach forward as far as you can; hold for 15 seconds

Dakarai gave a sigh of both relief and disappointment when she heard her group. She wasn’t in a group with Hiro, which was good, but she wasn’t in a group with Takumi or Kureiji. The groups didn’t matter much to her, though. She was more concerned with the activities.

Let me see... 50 meter dash? I could grow an extra couple of legs. Ball throw? I’ll use a tentacle for that. Vertical jump— my wings’ll be great for that. Long jump— uh... we’ll work out the details later. Side steps wasn’t explained all that explicitly. For distance running, I’ll keep switching out leg sets. For grip strength, I really wish I’d studied a gorilla, but... I’m screwed for sit-ups too. I’m flexible... sort of... I’ll probably be average in the toe-touching. She sighed. I’ll really be able to shine with some, but with others I’ll be so screwed.

She made her way over to her group-mates. A Mineta, an Ashido... hey, that’s Elastic Kid! And Dragon Girl too, she’s friends with Black Hole. Okay. Good luck, me. Aloud, she said, “Good luck, all.”

Yuuki followed after Ru, "yeah I guess it does come in handy" she said as they reached the grounds, "shame we're not in the same group, speak to you when it's over" she said giving him a playful punch to the arm before considering what she could do. "Well I can manifest shadows around my legs and feet to boost my speed which will help with the 50 Meter Dash and Distance Running. Then manifesting shadows on my arms and hands boosts my strength which will help with the Ball Throw and Grip Strength. Sit-ups and Seated Toe Touch I can do pretty well without my quirk, so it's only really Long Jump and Repeated Side Steps that I should be really worried about" she thought to herself.

Drayda nodded at the words given by the apparent metal head and walked over to Dakarai and the others. She knew who Dakarai's father was due to her mother talking about him. She told him his quirk was explosive, and so was his emotional state. In fact, it was her mother who taught her that quirks upset the normally average emotions of others, so she was taught to respect them past their quirk's flaws. Dakarai stuck out like a sore thumb in that aspect. Random body parts have jut out on occasion when Drayda was happening to look her way back at the classroom before the teacher walked in. Surprisingly, she saw that Dakarai had more control over her random protusion of body parts than her father at his emotions, most likely. While she was walking towards the group, she thought about those exercises.

The 50 meter dash and the long distance run wasn't going to be a problem for her. In fact, she could run 800 meters and would hardly break a sweat. For ball throwing she'll use her tail. Her standing vertical and long jumps were going to be difficult. She mainly used her wings and tail for support when jumping. She shouldn't use her wings, but maybe using her tail wasn't going to be all that bad. It was like a third leg or arm for its uses after all. Repeated side steps was where she excelled at, as she trained in them for awhile to aid in her quickness and agility. Though, grip strength was going to be interesting. She had gripped her door handle in anger before and permanently bent the metal out of shape, though the door handle was made out of a weak metal anyway. She was pretty flexible, so the seated toe touch wasn't going to be an issue, and neither was going to be sit-ups. In fact, she rocked a nice core from doing those at home when her mother used to drill her on the basic training exercises. Her mother made sure she was adequately prepared for anything they had to offer, and her intuition for gym training and helping her understand people to make friends was a good help.

The only thing that was going to be an issue was if her Dragon was going to comply. She looked at herself inward, asking to channel her power for this exercise. She felt her Dragon scoff at her before feeling a defeated sigh and she felt her body become stronger. Her eyes were apparently closed and her ears were blocking out the drone of everyone getting together and talking, when a voice broke her out of her trance.

She looked at whoever spoke and it was Dakarai, one of her team members. She smiled and nodded, looking at everyone else in her team. "Good luck to all of you, as well." She then put her attention on Dakarai. "Also, may I call you Daka or Rai?"

Dakarai emerged from her musings and nodded. “Sure. Anything is fine. Unless it’s an insult, in which case I’ll insult you back.” She cracked a grin, then shook out her limbs in an attempt to unlimber them. She was strung tighter than a taut bowstring, full of a mix of apprehension and excitement for the test to come. She felt confident in her abilities, yet unwilling to get cocky. The moment I think that I’ll be perfect, that’s the moment I fail, she thought. And I can’t fail. I won’t!

Takumi prepared to give it his all, stretching out his body so he could perform in top shape. That's when he noticed his wrist cuffs, and a smile came across his face. Mr. Xienfu said this was a test of physical abilities, but maybe, these two small devices can give him a small boost and show him what his quirk's all about. With that said, he looked to his group. "So, which activity do you guys want to do first?"

Lao, meanwhile, checked each station to make sure everything was there and in working order. "Once you've gathered into your group, head to your first activity." He said as he adjusted the timer of the 50 meter dash. He then walked over to a spot where he could observe all of the activities, and sat down cross-legged, watching his new students intently.

Tetsuma looked around for his group, he recognized all three of their last names as those of pro heroes, which further solidified his belief that there really weren't many people in this class without a background like that. He also knew that he'd been lumped in with the kid with the shock collar who was causing trouble when he'd walked into class earlier. "Right, which one are we doing first?" He asked them all when he'd gotten close enough to the group say something, he didn't necessarily care so he was going to leave it up to them.

Being lost in his thoughts, Inanis really didnt notice anything had happened until the classroom was suddenly empty. He looked to the blackboard; he guessed that must be the Teacher's name. Inanis had stood up and walked out of class, trying to follow the noise. He quietly followed everyone to the P.E grounds, sneaking into the crowd, trying to remain undetected so noone noticed he was a straggler. He walked up to Drayda, pretending as if he was standing there this entire time. " Hey, Drayda. " Inanis whispered under his breath, inching a bit closer to the Dragon Girl. " Pretend I was always here, please. " He tried to ask, but the question only coming out as a monotone statement.

"Okay... So this is like... Making sure we don't suck. I gotcha, I gotcha... I wonder if the teacher would be fine with me taking off my shit and summoning a cheetah... “Anyone got an opinion on what we do first?” Dakarai asked with forced cheeriness. “Because if you do, please spit it out so we can— Oh, God. I’m sorry, I’m acting just like—“ She couldn’t even say his name. “Just gotta—do something—I really don’t care what. Let’s just—go to a station—“ She was talking erratically, but she didn’t really notice. She was too busy trying to stop feathers, scales, and other assorted body parts from emerging. Man, this is a really terrible nervous habit to get into. Note to self: do something a little less conspicuous, like bouncing your leg, instead of busting out a tail or something.

Gumoto was fairly relieved upon reading the sign. Not only did he have confidence in himself, but he also felt fortunate to be born with a quirk that could actually help him in situations like this. He knew kids with support and mental based quirks tended to get screwed over in assessments like this. "Let's see...Foam would be helpful in the 50-meter dash, and I'm sure I could find some way to integrate bubbles in the ball throw and long jumping. As for the rest of them, I can just rely on how buff I am!" He gripped his bicep and grinned. "I don't have U.A. graduate parents like these guys do, so this is my chance to make an impression!"

It was only then that he noticed the group forming behind him. "Out of these activities, I don't really have any favorites." he said to Tetsuma. "I suggest we complete them in the order listed." He dropped the subject as fast as he picked it up, turning to Kureiji with bright eyes.

"So you can conjure animals, like a RPG summon? I guess that means you're that Anima guy's kid, but you look less...rocky. He doesn't seem like the type to get busy anyway." It clicked. "Or maybe you're Creati's son."

Can't believe I'll be running late for my first day at U.A...

Acura Kaminari ran through the streets, headed for U.A High, and, to his dismay, was late. He had ignored his alarm clock, and was now facing the consequences. He remembered being extremely excited when he opened the letter that spoke of his performance in the Entrance Exam, and told him that he got in the Hero Course.

Once he got to the school's entrance, he asked a teacher for directions to know what class he was assigned to. After figuring out that he was in class 1-A, he ran to the classroom. Hopefully I'm not that late... maybe the teacher isn't here yet. He thought as he reached the door, and slid it open.

There's nobody here? This can't be the wrong classroom... and I don't think everyone else is late. Wait, they must be at the P.E grounds! I remember Dad telling me the first thing they did was a test over there. I bet that's where everyone else is! With that thought, he rushed over to the grounds. Sure enough, there were a lot of students there, and he assumed that was class 1-A. He looked around for a teacher, and noticed a tall, bald man that seemed to be supervising them. He headed over to him, a bit nervous.

"Excuse me sir, is this class 1-A? I'm sorry for running late, it won't happen again, I promise..." He said, muttering "I'm sorry" a few more times. As he looked at him, he realized that he had seen him on TV before. Chrome Cranium, wasn't it? He thought.

Kureiji gave a confident grin, looking to the person who'd addressed him with wide eyes. "Indeed! One and only son of Creati!" He said boisterously, giving off an air of mayhem with each exaggerated movement he made. "Well, my dear fellow, you're in the presence of Kureiji Yaoyorozu, a young prodigy hero who will blow you away!" He said with a bigger grin.

"Kureiji... What did I... Tell you..?"

'Right... Don't get too cocky... Don't act too arrogant... You'll be hated. Just like him. Just like your dad...'
His facial expression calmed from it exaggerated look of confidence and mellowed out. "But yeah, that's where most of my power comes from. I can only really talk to or control the animals I myself create, and I can use less energy to turn small objects into animals, though it does limit me to small objects lying around..." He muttered more of the extent of his power, revealing subtly that he needed to eat a lot, just like his mom.

(The whole dropped notifications thing happens to me a LOT)

Inanis might've tried to blend in, but he stuck out like a sore thumb to Lao. After all, he didn't recall assigning a fifth member to Drayda's group. "You there! Uraraka's kid, right?" he called out, waving him over with his clipboard. At the same time, another student had arrived late for class and was running up to him. "How about you partner up with our tardy friend here, and in the future pay attention to your surroundings?" he suggested bluntly. He then turned to Acura. "Acura Kaminari, right? Yeah, this is 1-A. I'll let your late attendance slide this one time, but it better not happen again. Now, you and Inanis get to a station." He stated, turning back to the class.

Drayda was surprised to see Inanis suddenly beside her and was about to respond until the Chrome Cranium himself called over her void friend. Sighing, she gave a woeful look at Inanis and patted his shoulder before mouthing out sorry. She really wanted him to join her group, but that was going to have to wait.

She looked at her group and noticed that Dakarai was trying to hold it together as her speech became erratic. Raising an eyebrow, she smiled and offered some advice. "Alright, we should try something easy, like ball throwing. Then we can do the 50 meter dash. Let's go." She motioned for her teammates to follow her as she went to the ball throwing station.

(OOC: @Gamefreak1996 may you please describe the stations.)

' ..Oh, damnit.. ' Inanis thought, walking over to the teacher. " ...Yeah, that's me. Uravity's kid. " He responded, then silently walking over to the kid who came late who was now his teammate. Already, he didn't like it here. Uraraka made it sound like this was all a good experience, that this would be like any other school. It won't be that hard, she said. You'll have fun, she said. But, he'll go along with it anyway, not like his quirk would let him think differently. He walked up to Acura, sighing with a straight, plain voice. " Right, you're my teammate. I'm Inanis Uraraka. You wanna do the Ball Throw first. " He tried to say in an inquiring tone, but it came out as the usual monotone statement instead of a question.

Kishi's usual smile had turned into a concerned frown after hearing exactly what tests they were going to be doing. He made his way over to his assigned group, deep in thought.

C'est terrible! (Its terrible!) I thought we were just going to be presenting our quirks to one another, but instead we're doing intense physical exercises...

Well, I can use my quirk for the 50-meter and long jumps, but apart from those....

His frown now turned into an easy, somewhat defeated smile.

I think I truly am finished.

After having assessed the tragic situation in his head he turned his attention to his assigned group. The first person to catch his eye was a short, black-haired girl wearing a cool-looking eyepatch. He walked over to her, raised his hand...

and pat her on the head.

"Ah, you must be Dark Lord Tokoyami's heiress. I must say, you are quite short for the Excellent Empress of Darkness that you are!" He exclaimed, smiling in a child-like manner.

Now that their group had a concrete idea of where the heck they were going to go, Dakarai’s thoughts had something to focus on instead of running around like a chicken with its head cut off. She let out a sigh of relief as the pressure behind her eyes let up a bit, and she slightly relaxed her hold over her quirk. She began to follow Drayda to the ball-throwing station.

My tentacles are from an octopus,
she thought. They can wrestle a shark and win. Hopefully that amount of muscle will be able to get me high marks, if not top marks. But then, there is Black Hole, who I haven’t bothered to find out the name of, and Kureiji, and a few others too... She smothered a laugh. She could grow octopus tentacles? Kureiji could probably summon an actual octopus. Of course, it wouldn’t last long... fish out of water and all that. Oh, well. He’ll think of something.

She let out a determined breath. She was not going to be last— not today. She let one long tentacle unfurl from the hem of her uniform, curling and uncurling it for maximum flexibility.
