Ava was very curious about Route 1 so she wandered into the forest in search of new Pokemon. She found a Hoothoot and some pidgeys. As she was walking she found a Pokemon egg sitting in the grass. There were no Pokemon nearby so she picked it up and ran back to the battle. When she sat down she immediately put the egg in her lap and opened her bag. Ava had lots of experience with Pokemon eggs. She brought out a water bottle and a cloth. She dampened the cloth and wiped the egg to prevent dirt from getting inside it when it cracked.

"Reaper, bank left!" Reaper shifts to her left, drawing herself out of Jet's strike just in the nick of time.
"Now, use X-scissor!" Reaper whirls around, crossing her clawed arms into an X-formation, and charges forward, a brilliant greenish glow on her arms.

As Ava sat down wiping the egg she saw a kid who was crying over by a tree. When she asked what was wrong the kid said that there were no more starter Pokemon left. Ava felt really bad so she gave the Pokemon egg to the kid. The kid gasped as the egg started to crack. It was a tiny little pidgey. The kid thanked Ava and ran off to show his friends.
Reaper takes the hit and goes skidding backwards. "Scizor!"
"Reaper! Use Night Slash!" Reaper conjures a blade of purpleish-black energy, and charges in at Jet once again.

The two collide midair, and the resulting shockwave sends them both flying back towards their respective trainers.
"I haven't had a battle this heated in a long time Ry, I'm impressed with your skill and how well-trained your Pokemon are. Reaper, use X-scissor!"

The resulting explosion knocks both Pokemon out.
"Reaper!" Darrius rushes to her side, and lifts her up.
"Sci--Scizor.." she says, disappointedly.
"Don't worry old friend. You did phenomenally. Take a good rest." He puts Reaper away in her Pokeball.
"Is Jet okay? I'll share some of my medicine if you need."

"Thanks, but we'll pass. Jet is kinda picky when it comes to medicine. He prefers Pokemon centers, or my mom's recipe for an Oran Powder." Ry took a knee next to Jet and took out a bowl of Oran berries. He then mashed the berries together, until they where a soupy texture.
"Here you go buddy," said Ry as he fed the mixture to him. Jet smiled and stood up tall, and Ry said. You did a great job buddy." Jet then returned to his poke ball.
"My mom was a breeder and taught me some of her recipes and secrets about breeding back before i started my journey. She's at home right now in Sinnoh" Ry explained. "Where are you from?"
"Here you go buddy," said Ry as he fed the mixture to him. Jet smiled and stood up tall, and Ry said. You did a great job buddy." Jet then returned to his poke ball.

"Gateon Port, out in the Orre region. Most people have never heard of it. It's a remote island, to the southwest of Sinnoh actually, so maybe you have heard of it." Darrius waves for his Salamence and Arcanine to come over to him.
"I already introduced you to Fenrir and Reaper, but this here is Havoc, my Salamence. He's my partner in crime. My father gave me an egg that hatched into him when i was 8, so i've had him for a very long time.
"Graraoo!" Havoc nudges his hand until Darrius starts scratching him under the chin.

"Yes, you decide Ava. I'm sure either of us will give you the challenge you need."
Darrius steps back and sits in the grass, Havoc along with him.
"I've only ever seen a few Mega Pokemon. This will be exciting for sure." he says to Havoc, who lays his head on Darrius' lap.

"Fuego!" Ry shouted as his infernape was effortless tossed across the battlefield. Infernape laid there for a minute. Then slowly he stood up. The flames on his head were stronger then ever and he was surrounded by fire. I turned and nodded at him.
"Use mach punch!"
Fuego rushed forward. Then when he was halfway between Gardevior, "Now use Flare Blitz"
With his fist still outstretched, he was surrounded by an inferno that surrounded him, and he was headed straight for Gardevior.

(OOC It's late where i am. Idk how long you plan to continue, but just assume Darrius is with you, and i'll rejoin in the morning!)
"Thunder Pu-" Ry tried to shout but it was two late. The Moonblast crashed into Fuego. After the dust cleared. Fuego stood there, with his arm raised making a thumbs up. Then he fainted.
"Good job buddy, said Ry, returning his partner to his pokeball. Ry then turned and beamed at Ava. "That was a fun battle.

Ry walked towards a nearby tree, and looked up. He then started to climb the base of the tree trunk, and when he got close enough, he started to pick some of the cheri berries. When he had an armload he hopped down, and set the berries at his feet. Then without a word, he ran towards a nearby low hanging tree, and picked a few Sitirus berries and came back. He took out a large bowl, and placed the sitris berries inside. Then mashed them together, until they were just pulpy. Then tossed in the cheri berries and repeated the process. He took out Fuego's pokeball and released Fuego. he was still badly injured, but he could stand.
"Here you go Fuego, your favorite." Said Ry slowly, as he fed his Infernape. When he was all done eating, Fuego stood up, smiled and stuck his thumb out.
"Infernape!"
Ry smiled at the fact that his partner, was all better. "Okay buddy return." He said as he returned Fuego into his pokeball.

"Probably will so i can enter the pokemon leauge. I gotta win it this time around. I owe to everyone." Ry said with a straight face. He opened his jacket to reveal the eight badges of Sinnoh.
"We just went to the Sinnoh leauge, and lost once we got to the top 16. Then a few of my pokemon stayed in Sinnoh while i came here." Ry explained.

"Oh, I see." Ava said, "I don't challenge the gyms because I don't battle in competitions, but I like watching battles to learn things."
Ava unziped her bag and pulled out 2 Petcha berries, 1 Oran berry and 1 cherri berry. She gave the Petcha berries to Gardevoir and Bulbasaur, the Oran berry to Dragonite and the cherri berry to Eevee.
"The closest gym is in Pewter City." Ava said to Ryn
