"Nope, their 4," Kai said. "Lapris, Charizard, Nidoreno, and riolu" Kai corrected, throwing them all out. The team came out and Charizard lightened the area. "I met all of them In Kanto." kai said.

"Oh wow cool!" said Jade in awe, his zorua got exited and started changing into smaller forms of each of the pokemon while Jade`s other two pokemon squirtle and budew looked up in awe. "Wait so did you challenge the gyms in kanto?" he asked as he observed the lapras, "I wanted to but I had to move here," he added.

(OOC: Lets slow down so the other rpers can catch up or else we will always be a gym ahead)

"I went to the pokemon league in kanto...I...uhh...lost, but I came to Johto for another chance" kai shrugged and clenched his fist and punched the sky. "that's why I only need a few more badges, then I have to wait 5 months until the pokemon league" kai nodded.

"Yeah!" replied Jade as he fist bumped the sky, "I can`t wait for the pokemon league," he said still pumped up, "I guess the first thing is to get all the badges though," he added bringing himself back to reality, "Well we better keep going, I really wanna challenge whitney!" he said as he checked the time "Still a while to go till night but we still have a long way to go,"

"Lets set up camp here" Kai began to build a fire, and Charizard lit it. he took food out of his bag and began heating the ramen. "ahh, the life" he laid on nidoreno, who was eating pokefood. Kai shared his food with riolu, who enjoyed to eat people food more than pokefood.

Jade laid on a log eating with his pokemon next to him, he looked up and saw a shiny eevee, "What!?" he said looking at it, "Wait," he looked next to him and saw squirtle and budew but zorua was missing, "Hah, hah, very funny," he said sarcastically, zorua transformed back and he went back to eating. "Wow these areas are dark without a fire, huh?" he said after another minute of eating.

 

[Amnisty]

Tawny had finally made it to Violet City, after a quick stop at the pokemon center to heal and feed her team (Colgate no, that's not yours! Eat your own food you little rascal) she'd decided to explore the city. Colgate was perched on her shoulder letting out random cries right in her ear but at this point she'd grown used to it and didn't even flinch, that was until they'd been sitting on a bench on a small man made island like thing that lead to what the locals had told her was called 'sprout tower'. She'd been relaxing, watching the magikarps swimming in and out of view in the water when out of nowhere Colgate had let out a loud yelp and jumped from her shoulder onto the bench, laying down as if nothing had happened.Tawny rubbed at her ear in annoyance letting out a huff as she watched Colgate close his eyes and yawn, laying his head on his paws and apparently deciding to take a nap.
"Hey, are you okay? You look like you've been hit by a Hyper Beam." She glanced up from her pokemon to see that someone was approaching her. It was a kid in a red hoodie and cap.
"Oh, uh I'm fine." She smiled before continuing, "It's just -" She glanced down at her eevee who had abruptly sat up upon the stranger asking a question. "Been a long day" she continued, thinking of how once they'd gotten to town she'd had to buy yet another box of toothpaste. "I'm Tawny, this is my partner Colgate," she stood up gesturing to herself and the shiny eevee perched on the bench before she held out her hand for him to shake.

"Yeah....can...I tell you something...I feel like I can trust you.." Kai said sincerely, looking at the feasting riolu. "We've been traveling for a few weeks now and I helped you get the courage to even challenge the gyms, so.." Kai ate a cookie after saying that and swallowed. He looked nervous but felt like it was time, to be honest.

 

[Bloody Pikachu]

Kyle shook Tawny's hand and replied with, "Hi Tawny, I'm Kyle. I just started my journey not to long ago. This is my partner Pokemon Totodile." Totodile then jumped off of Kyle's shoulder and started playing with Colgate. "Oh yeah, and this is Hoothoot." Kyle said as he sent out his Hoothoot. Hoothoot then started to play with the others. Kyle then said, "Hey, my mom packed me a lot of food before I left home. It's still fresh if you want any. I don't think I could eat all of it before it goes bad."

 

[Amnisty]

Tawny nodded with a smile, "thanks! I'd love some." As she responded Colgate let out a cry and stopped playing with Totodile as he leaped up onto her shoulder, facing Kyle, he cried out again and tipped his head to the left, his ears flopping as he did so. Tawny rolled her eyes at her pokemon's dramatics but smiled nonetheless. "I think that means he agrees," she laughed shortly and Colgate sneezed before hopping off her shoulder to continue playing with Totodile. "Bless you," Tawny stated, she watched the pokemon play for a few seconds before turning to look at Kyle.

 

[Bloody Pikachu]

Kyle was watching the Pokemon play when he turned around to see Tawny looking up at him. "So, do you have any gym badges?" Kyle asked nervously, caught off guard.

 

[Amnisty]

"No, not yet, I plan on challenging Falkner, he's the gym leader here in Violet City right? I've heard that he's supposed to be decently strong, so I thought I'd give my team a bit of a rest before we challenge him. Maybe do a bit of training," Tawny scratched the back of her ear as she flopped back onto the bench, scooting over to make room in case Kyle wanted to sit too. Her legs were still burning a little from all the walking they'd done recently without much rest. "How about you?" She asked looking out over the water again for a second before turning to glance at the other trainer.

As soon as his pokemon was healed, Robby headed out of the pokemon center. A nice cool breeze hit him in the face; Robby closed his eyes and exhaled. "Where to, Gem?" He asked the Sableye sat upon his backpack. Gem pointed to a tall slightly aged looking building; many Bellsprouts were outside of the tower, running around. A few yards away, two trainers stood talking. Gem's ears perked up seeing something he's seen familiar. He quickly leaped from Robby' shoulders and towards the trainees. "Gem!" He called out, but no use.

"Well you can trust me with anything," Jade replied as he watched his three pokemon playing around the fire, the flames burning bright in the dark night from the view of the forest as it made a crackling noise "So what is it?" he asked looking over at the nervous Kai.

(OOC: Look at my trainer cards for a bit of spoiler)
"When I was in Kanto...I was forced to be trained in a high tech training facility to battle pokemon" kai sigh. "I...escaped because it was for the team rocket organization, ran by my father. I lived with a family who provided me with food and a home. That family is what my last name is, The Winston family. They took me in, raised me for about 2 months, but then, I began my journey to become a trainer, to forget everything that happened after I found the truth. I Chose Charmander and headed off. Then...I met this girl...syd...she was..." Kai began to blush and tear up. "Perfect...we traveled together...and..its kind of cheesy but...I fell in love. The day after I kissed her, I challenged my dad's gym...." Kai sniffed. "After I won, team rocket grabbed her. I tried to grab her, but she....she told me to...take care of her pokemon...her riolu" Kai looked at the sleeping riolu, sound. "I haven't used it to battle at all...its still level 5...." Kai looked up. "My dad said that I would only see her again If I won the Johto league, but then he told me that meant I would never because I sucked at battling." kai looked down. "I....thats why I want to win this time.....to get her back..." Kai began to tear up during the tail.

Jade didn`t know what to say so he just closed his eyes and nodded his head down. He then looked over at the riolu, at this point his pokemon where also looking up sadly. "I`m...sorry," said Jade quietly as he looked down at his pokemon and closed his eyes again as he sniffled quietly.

"But I have a plan. If I don't win Jade, You will win for me" Kai sigh. "All I need is 3 more badges, and then I'm eligible, and you need to evolve your pokemon, then...we can join the league...or....we can storm the team rocket base...and find her." Kai stood up. "Either way...I'm storming the base anyway...I need to get her out....."

Jade smiled and looked up slowly "And either way I`ll help you, I`m sure I can get the other 6 in time, and I`ll help you no matter what happens," he lay back and looked over at each of his pokemon and then riolu, "You. No. We can do it!" he said as he clenched his fist into the sky.

"Then lets go....we storm the base....get her out...and then not worry about tem rocket and ....I guess we will face each other in the pokemon leauge..." Kai stood up. "Wheres the last citing of team rocket"

Jade tried to think, "I`ve heard about a few citings around goldenrod city" he said "And I think there was one or two near the lake of rage, but those places are pretty far apart," he said trying to recall what he had heard about recently "Yeah, I can`t think of anything other than those places,"

"Team rocket likes to blend in, to goldenrod would be our best bet. that is where the next gym is to right, good for us" Kai stood up with pride. "Charizard, get ready" kai returned all of his pokemon and hopped on. he seemed anxious and courageous. "To goldenrod city, we're going to see Syd again."

 

[NerdySquirtle]

"Wait do you mean... oh yeah!" Jade replied looking at the charizard, "ok everyone return!" he said and returned budew and zorua to their pokeballs, "Squirtle get on!" his squirtle jumped onto his shoulder and Jade got onto the charizard. "Ok I`m ready!" he said as he positioned himself.

"Hold on" Kais charizard flew high. Kai pointed to a huge city with skyscrapers and lights. "Is it that one down their," Charizard flew down to get a better look for Jade.

"Yep that`s the one!" said Jade as he looked over the charizard "Goldenrod is the biggest city in Johto," he said as he looked back up towards Kai infront of him, "Well some people say Ecruteak is instead," he said "Ok let`s go!" he said exitedly.

Charizard dived down and like that jade and Kai were in the center of goldenrod city. "Now...team rocket likes to use skyscrapers and business buildings as a cover-up" Kai pointed to different towers. "Hmm....crap, get down" Kai pull jade behind the fountain. in front of the fountain was a red-haired boy, he wore black and red clothing and was being escorted by a feraligator.

"Who is that guy?" Jade whispered looking up "And is he from team rocket?" he asked as the boy began to walk away "Do you think he saw us?" he asked quikcly as he started to slowly and carefully get up watching the boy and the large pokemon next to him.

 

[Cyber_Poipole]

"That's....my brother...silver" Kai peeked over. "I'm not sure if he is still with team rocket...but I thought he ran from home...what the hell is he doing here" Kai looked in the direction that silver was. There was a purple and black skyscraper, with an R as their logo, labeled as ROCKET RADIO. "Look, I want you to challenge the gym right, don't worry about me, im 16, I don't need help. Worry about your badge, ill get mine later" Kai got up and ran to the skyscraper, making sure jade wasn't going, once there he mouthed "I'll be fine" and then went in."

 

[NerdySquirtle]

"Ugh fine," said Jade as he watched him leave, he then began to walk towards the pokemon center and gave his pokeballs to the nurse and sat down for a while in the chair eating rice, "Wonder what`s happened to the radio tower," he said to himself as he kept on eating waiting for his pokemon.

 

[Cyber_Poipole]

kai snuck inside and saw an elevator. "Perfect." kai walked over and stole a keykard off the main desk and went into the elevator. he went to the 3rd highest floor. He took out 2 team rocket members, knocking them unconscious, then dressed up in their outfits. "I hated wearing these" kai walked around normaly until he went into the hallway. he sigh. "That was easy." he turned to see silver. "s...silver...how have you been"
"So you stayed with dad"
"No, im just here to get syd"
"That girl dad keeps talking about, shes at the top of some mountain, apperently she held an item that could be used for emense power, possibly to summon a legendary pokemon"
"The stone...its not even supposed to do that, its for mega evolution, whatever that is."
"I cant let you leave kai"
"Still working for dad"
"even though I hate him, I cant let your betrail live"
"You ran first."
Silver threw a pokeball, summoning a weevil. "No...you left team rocket..."

 

[NerdySquirtle]

Jade instantly disapeared into a small dark cloud "Great work zorua, can`t believe Kai didn`t think this would happen," he whispered as he appeared in the room across. Zorua had used its illusion abilities to make him and his pokemon invisible and seem to be at the pokemon center, "Wait, mega evolution?" he said as he heard the disscusion in the other room.

 

[Cyber_Poipole]

"If its a battle you want....a battle you will get" Kai threw out Charizard, and the battle of the brothers began.
"Ice beam"
"heat blast"
"Metal claw"
Charizard was hit hard and hit the wall, which was in front of the room that jade was in. Kai ran to his aid. "Charizard, get up" kai sounded worried, however, Charizard got up with a mighty roar. "Good to know you still trust me Charizard.... let's show silver the power of true friendship!"

 

[NerdySquirtle]

"The hallway is too narrow," Whispered Jade "It`s too risky to try to walk through, but we need to get to the next room," whispered Jade as he was sitting next to a wall, "I guess we`ll just have to wait," squirtle and zorua where both out sitting next to the wall but budew was in its pokeball since Jade thought it would make too much noise.

 

[Cyber_Poipole]

"Charizard, Flamethrower!" kai shouted like a true trainer, Charizard roared and opened its mouth, releasing flames out of its mouth, hitting the weevil, knocking it out. Silver scoffed and threw another Pokeball, releasing feraligator. "Charizard return" Kai called back Charizard, then threw another Pokeball. "Go, Nidoreno"

 

[NerdySquirtle]

Jade looked at his zorua, it was incredibly tired as it had to create complicated illusions on many different people, "Here take a rest," he said and opened the pokeball to return the tired pokemon, it entered with a red flash of light and now it was just Jade and his squirtle sitting there hoping they wouldn`t get caught.

 

[Cyber_Poipole]

"Nidorino, poison tail!" Nidorino hit feraligator with its tail, which glew with a purple aura. "good, now, use double kick!" Nidorino kicked feraligator in the face.
"Surf, then use power-up punch" Feraligator used surf as a barrier, to confuse nidorino, then punched him, knocking them out. "No...nidorino, get up..." Nidorino twitched, then opened its eyes. Kai ran over to it and gave it a cracker, but then a rock fell out of Kais bag....a moonstone....

 

[NerdySquirtle]

Jade was looking at what was happening from across the hallway, trying not to be seen, he needed to squint slightly but then he was able to see the stone "Is that a..." he said as his squirtle also looked forward and both of them knew what was going to happen next, they waited, the suspense building up.

 

[Cyber_Poipole]

nidorino looked at the stone. "Niiidooo"
"Sorry buddy, i just found it, I know you dont want to evolve but..."
"niidooo" Nidorinos foot touched the stone, then he began to glow.
"Nidorino..." kai watched.

 

[NerdySquirtle]

Jade`s eyes grew wide open as he watched the form of the pokemon begin to slowly change as the trainer from before simply watched the events happen, "I wan`t to run but I want to see this battle finish," he whispered to his squirtle as the two watched it still glowing with a white light.

Nidoran grew big, he stood on two legs, then stood up, with bulky arms and legs. "Kiiiiiing"
"nidorino"

Kyle sat down next to Tawny. "No, I don't have any badges either." Kyle said. "But, I'm supposed to challenge Falkner tomorrow. I lost to him before, but I've done some training and I know I'll beat him this time." Just as Kyle said that he turned around to see a Sableye coming their way.
