Private/Closed Hyper Zero Fantasy World- The Sirius Crusaders

As Falcon lead the group deeper into the dragons lair, Lerry began to think. As soon as they got in the cave, and caught a glimpse of the dragon, his eyes widened. “Damn, that thing is huge!” He thought, pausing with a bit of fear, and continuing. He then walked close to Falcon. “Listen, I know I already said this, but please make sure your distraction works. I can’t move while I’m firing this, and I’d have to shut it off every time I needed to change positions. Other than that, I think we’ve got this in the bag. Good luck, leader.” He said, trying to hide the fear that was slightly present in his voice. He was more confident than anything. After all, it was just a game, if they died, they’d just respawn. Lerry then proceeded to get into position. He flipped a switch on his backpack that turned on the device that powered the Blinding Obliteration, and he initiated Silent Spin-up. He pulled up the sight, and aimed right for the dragons neck, all while waiting for Falcon’s signal to begin firing.

Falcon nodded in response to Lerry's concern, and continued to approach the Three Horned Dragon. He slowly drew his Photon Blade. It was in the shape of a broadsword, but had the added feature of a laser that ran around the edge of the blade, increasing it's cutting power. Falcon activated the laser, and in his free hand drew the Plasma Skorpion Machine Pistol. Although it wasn't a popular fighting style, Falcon had managed to do pretty well using a sword-handgun combo. It took a lot of focus, but Falcon was pretty good at it. Coming to a stop close to the the Three Horned's head, the leader of the Sirius Crusaders looked back at his guild. It looked like most of the members were in place, but not everyone. In just a few moments, they would be ready. However, those were moments that the Sirius Crusaders wouldn't have.

Falcon looked back at the Dragon just in time to see it's eyes open.

Shiitake Mushrooms...

Falcon was quick to react, firing a burst from his Plasma Skorpion directly into the Dragon's eyes. It jumped to it's feet, roaring in pain and surprise and exposing it's neck, along with it's reverse scale.
"Engage! Engage!" Falcon yelled to his teammates, ducking around the dragon. The Chronos Goggles switched to battle mode, and highlighted the scales behind the Dragon's front forelegs to be weaker then others around it.

"Engage? But I'm still so young..." a blushing Jay looked shyly aside.

Most would have thought that she was fooling around instead of focusing, but her teammates knew that she was really preparing to strike. She thrust her Lipstick forward like a sword, piercing through the cute façade and pointing at the Three-Horned's throat. Dragons were resistant to fire if Pokémon taught her anything, but this was no ordinary flame.

"Parkerus Bellus Ukjentus Toppus Smuggus!"

When Jay recited the incantation, a ball of Shadow Fire exploded from the tip of the Lipstick and wrapped the beast's throat. The freezing temperature of this special flame made it an icy collar, anathema to dragons.

The Three-Horned roared in pain some more and swiped at Jay with a clawed hand, but the Succubus showed her wings and propelled herself out of the way in time. The monster didn't follow up on the attack because the Shadow Fire left it vulnerable, clawing at its throat to get it off.

If Lerry had one of his hands free, he would’ve facepalmed at Jay’s sense of humor. But now wasn’t the time, considering the giant dragon had woken up. Some of the others had already began their attacks, but his would last for a while. He pulled the trigger on the guns back handle, and you could now see why he had named it the Blinding Obliteration. Rapid beams of condensed light and heat energy(lasers), began spewing from the barrels, at around 10,000 rounds per minute. While they did say there were two places that would have less scales, Lerry stayed in the front. He aimed at anywhere from the end of the neck to the eyes, hoping to blind it, or at least do massive damage to the neck. “Keep it coming! Guys, move in!” He shouted, hoping they’d listen to him.

June blinked at Lerry as he corrected her on his name, withholding a little chuckle.
“Oh, my bad,” she grinned ruefully, although her voice was laced with sarcasm.

She’d settled herself into position where Falcon had instructed, her bow drawn towards the ground, her eyes flickering back to their leader, awaiting his approval to attack, her motions entirely silent.

But it seemed, as many things, it didn’t go as planned, and the Dragon awoke in a rage, fervently snapping at her teammates in it’s range, and with Falcon’s call she quickly began firing.

Now- naturally, June would feel a little inferior to her teammates, and she reflected on this whilst shooting dozens of arrows- there they were, with their lasers and guns and magical lip product, and she was stuck with a bow and dagger.

But her bow was nothing to scoff at.

Being an elf, June had a naturally raised magical ability, thus unlocking the magic ability of the Bow- Bloodcurdle.
If the holder had a high enough magic ability, Bloodcurdle would be put in use, and a deadly slowing poison is injected into the target with each arrow.

June was firing countless arrows. Obviously the poison was incredibly weak to the massive creature, but the impact was being made.

With Jay L.’s Shadow Flame collar stuck on the dragon, and Lerry’s suggestion to move in, the girl obliged, moving in slowly, but her eyes flickered to the creature’s tail. It was massive and thrashing wildly, but they could be damaging that collar if they continued shooting at the throat..

Sprinting over and ducking under it’s tail as it arched up into the air, June took this as an opportunity, firing a singular arrow where the sun.. didn’t shine.

The Three-Horn screeched, slamming it’s tail down to his her, the girl dodging by a centimeter.

Falcon ran around underneath the Three-Horned, shooting away with his Plasma Skorpion in hopes to somehow distract the huge beast. It's underbelly was well armored, however, and it looked like trouble was now occurring. The Three-Horned was enraged. Specifically, enraged at the puny elf who's arrows had violated it so. Jay's Shadow Fire having been finally snuffed out, the Three-Horned turn to face June. This unfortunately hid his neck from Lerry's position as well. Letting out a deafening angry roar that left Falcon's ears ringing, the dragon's mouth glowed and a stream of flames erupted towards June's position. The Three-Horned turned again, sweeping his fire breath towards Lerry's position as well.
"Oh, no, no, no..." Falcon muttered. It's not like he was exactly doing well with his job of distracting. Holstering his Plasma Skorpion, Falcon took the Photon Blade in both hands and stabbed it into one of the Three-Horned's feet. The Dragon let out another roar, this time in pain, and stopped it's flame breath before it reached Lerry.

Falcon pulled his sword from the Dragon's foot, when it's tail sweeped in and knocked Falcon across the room. He ended up rolling near Jay with a small groan. Of course, he didn't feel pain from the blow, but it really felt like that should have hurt. Falcon slowly got to his feet, using his Photon Blade to help himself up.
"Well... that stung..." Falcon said.

Rairah lurked around the cavern, slinking past boulders to avoid splash damage from the battle. She stared at the three-horned dragon eyes flitting back and forth across its massive figure in an attempt to spot an opportunity to strike. Her daggers were...less than suitable for piercing through the Dragon's thick hide so she'd need to find another avenue of offense. While she did carry her pistol on her, those little mosquito stings would contribute little to nothing and she'd be reduced to a minor annoyance at best. When June assaulted the dragon rather rudely and intimately, Rairah knew this was her chance, tenses her supple muscles characteristic of a beast-kin she bolted into action, a quadripedal sprint across the battlefield.

In a few moments, she reached the reptilian beast, and with a great leap, she catapulted herself onto its body, claws poised reflexively to sink into her target. Naturally, the girl's thin, but sharp claws, barely made any headway into the dragonhide, but her true aim was the shaft of one of June's arrows that had lodged itself into the dragon's side. The trail of arrow shafts was rather erratic, but they were numerous enough that they naturally feel within a certain range of each other, and by leveraging both the arrows and her physique, Rairah was able to scale the dragon with minor difficulty. Most of the credit went to June, who'd laid a path for her ascent, and Falcon who was currently distracting the dragon while Rairah scaled it. Speaking of their leader- thwack- Rairah's feral ears twitched as she heard Falcon's body collide with the dragon's tail, and moments later a soft thud as he hit the ground. Not wanting to imitate his actions, she quickly set off about dishing out some damage and getting off the beast.

Racing up the dragon's neck with reckless abandon, the girl's high agility and dexterity stat on full display, she made her way to its horned head where she slid down its scaly forehead and darted across the short runway of its snout, launching herself into the air from the beast's nose. As she flew through the air she arched her back, and in one swift motion sent both her daggers flying towards the beast's eyes. She wasn't sure if she could blind the dragon on her first attempt, but should she have missed, she could always find the opportunity to try again. A deafening roar thundered behind her, as one of her daggers found its home in the dragon's eye, the other bouncing away as it collided with scaly eye-lids. The enraged roar sent tingles up the beast-kin's spine, and soon after she hit the ground, rolling forward to avoid injury, then swiftly scrambling away on all fours. With a sickening crunch, a scaly hand swept at her previous position, the dragon's claws just short of ending the catgirl's life and instead, gouging claw marks into the earthen floor.

Seeing as everyone else was in their fighting positions, and Swirl not having a desire to be the good man who does nothing, assume a position of his own.

"Soul, power up my weapon, I'm going in," His companion nodded, and in no time, the U.N.I.T pipe was surging with energy. Now with the energy he needed, Swirl jumped at Three Horned head on, hoping to get some good damage on the dragon and if not, then to absorb some attacks.

While the beast was distracted by his guild mates, Raight was hiding behind a big boulder as he waited by for an opportunity to strike. “Good going guys, you’re doing great.” He thought as he lined up his shot. Seeing June shoot an arrow into the dragon’s behind made Raigh cringe slightly. He eyed Falcon as he was knocked away by the dragon’s tail, but that didn’t take his attention away from Rairah who managed to scale the dragon and even land a hit in one of the dragon’s eyes. Looking through his sniper’s scope, Raigh aimed a shot towards the beast’s other eye. “Rairah got one of its eye, now for the other.” He said to himself as he fired his shot.

The dragon roared as it’s other eye was shot and it lost its vision. Raight readied himself for another shot before seeing a giant fire ball being shot towards his direction. “Whoops, gotta go.” He thought as he quickly jumped away from the rock he was behind and narrowly avoided the raging flames, only suffering slight burn damage. Stationing himself on top of another rock, he aimed his sniper and fired another round, this time aiming for the dragon’s reverse scale.

Lerry watched as the fire neared him, but Falcon had driven it away, while getting hurt in the process. He put a few more lasers into the dragon, shut off the Blinding Obliteration, and figured he’d have enough time to help out the injured Falcon. He pulled out Big Iron, loaded a Healing Bullet, and shot Falcon from afar, healing some of his HP. “Thanks!” He shouted to the leader, loading a few bullets into Big Iron, and taking a shot, slowly running to cover. He’d need to be percise with his aiming, as Big Iron was powerful, but would take a while to reload. “What was it they said? There was another place that the dragon would be weak.... oh, right.” Justin said, knowing exactly what he was about to do. While the neck was closer, he’d probably only need to shoot a few times in.... that area to do damage, and if he could rev up his minigun again, he might be able to distract it. But he’d need to wait for the right time to do such, as he was 3/4 the speed of an average player, even with his heavy gun deactivated. He looked around his cover to find that his teammates had successfully blinded the dragon. It didn’t seem to know where anyone was, but it roared in his direction, making him fall back. “Just gotta wait for the right time...” he said, picking himself back up.

“Damn, nice shot Raigh.” Eriz mumbled in his robotic voice as he saw Raigh’s snipe the dragon’s other eye. Though he would’ve liked to have taken the snipe himself, he had other priorities. His teammates seemed to be doing a pretty decent job, considering the dragon’s roars of pain and it’s blindness. However, it still continued to wreak havoc as some of the others nearly had their lives taken away for them as they aimed for the weak point behind it’s backside. Eriz had fired off a few shots at the neck but it wasn’t enough to do significant damage. ‘This is just not my style...’ However, he had seen what Lerry’s weapon was capable of and believed it might be a key factor if they wanted to beat this creature.

As for where Lerry was right now, he had backed up a little as the dragon had roared in his direction. Though it may have just been a random roar, Lerry was smart to not take the chance. Either way, it would be in their best interest if Lerry got in the prime position to impact the battle. “Yo Lerry, I can cover you! Hurry up and get set up with the mini-gun, I got you covered.” With that said, Eriz began firing all his shots at the same location Lerry had fired his mini-gun originally, aggravating the weakened area.

Not waiting any time, Swirl took his name a bit literally as he spun until he landed a hit on one of Three Horned horns. This caused the dragon to shoot at Swirl, despite it being overwhelmed with other players. The U.N.I.T pipe dis it's job as the playerlanded, now having his own projectile 3x stronger than the initial attack.

"Hey, tell me where to attack and I'll help out,"

Kenzen reached a position and looked at the dragon a bit worryingly. He listened to what the others were saying and just thought they would handle it while he did the job he was assigned.

Reverse scale, huh? I can hit that!

He transformed his left hand into his mini-gunish machine which started gathering up energy on the front. It was turning into one medium sized blue ball before it was shot in the direction of the scale. It went flying through the air at a rapid rate before hitting the dragon and causing a giant explosion.

Bullseye!

The Three-Horned was not having a good time. Not only had these fleas violated him in the most unscrupulous fashion, one of them had manged to stab him in the eye! As the Dragon roared in pain, another attack came from seemingly nowhere and hit it's other eye. Now, the Three-Horned was completely blinded, and very pissed. It had taken quite a beating, but all-in-all didn't look very damaged at all. Just when it thought it couldn't get more angry, it's reverse scale was hit. And not once... but twice. The change was immediate.

"Alright Swirl, we need to-"
The Three-Horned's eyes opened wide, and flames seemed to leak from them. With speed unexpected of a monster that size it launched itself across the cave, barely missing Swirl, Falcon, and Jay. It stopped at the entrance, blocking off the main escape route for the guild.
"Oh boy..." Falcon said, drawing his Plasma Skorpion. This was going to be rough. A visible fiery aura began to surround the Dragon, and the cave began to get warmer. Not good. Falcon recognized this. One of the Three-Horned's abilites, when his reverse scale was hit or when he was on low health, was Burning Soul Aura. Now, if anyone touched the scales of the Three-Horned, they'd take burn damage. A wave of flames, reaching from one wall to the other, emerged from the Three-Horned maw and roared towards the Guild. Reacting quickly, Falcon pulled the Portafort from his inventory and threw it down. A metal tower sprouted up, shielding Falcon, Swirl, and Jay from the attack. How the others would fair had yet to be seen. Dang it, guys... why'd you have to go for the reverse scale?!

Raigh watched as the dragon's eyes flared up and as it launched itself across the cave to block the exit tunnel, a fiery aura surrounding it. He felt the cave get warmer and let out a breath. "So it activated one of its ability. We really should have left the reverse scale for later." He said to himself as he saw the wave of fire the dragon roared towards them. Jumping onto the rock next to him and pushing off it, Raigh leaped above the wave of flames. While in the air, he looked through his sniper and aimed a shot towards the dragon's open mouth as it shot the flames. He fired his sniper round into the dragon's throat to stun it and stop its fire breathing.

Out of nowhere, a rifle bullet flew by, hitting the dragon in the side of the dragon's face, making it's head get knocked back a bit and stunning the beast for a second. From where the bullet came from stood a young woman, her visor glowing in the night. She stepped forward and revealed herself to the party with a smile on her face. "Hey! My name's Allie, mind if I join you guys for a while?" she asked, lowering her hood to reveal her face.

Falcon looked out from behind the Portafort, seeing why the Three-Horned had stopped it's assault. Another player had shown up, an elf girl with a large rifle. What was she doing?! Another person in the way could end up messing this whole thing up!
"Don't just stand there!" Falcon yelled. Did she not realize the situation she was in, being so close to an enraged Three-Horned?

The Three-Horned looked down at the insignificant flea that had just showed up, surprised. With the activation of it's Enraged state, it's vision had returned as well. What did this little insect think it was?! Once again moving much faster than a monster that size should, the Three-Horned swiped at the elf girl with a powerful backhand blow.

"It's getting hot in here..." Jay said, shaking her head and fanning herself, pulling up the straps of her dress then letting go suddenly so that they snapped back to her shoulders and flicked beads of sweat off her breasts.

"...So take off all your clothes," she continued with the most serious expression on her face. "The Three-Horned is moving faster now, so we have to move faster too, by making ourselves as light as possible."

From mythology to Pokémon to early 2000s rap, Jay was drawing on vast areas of knowledge to come up with the best strategy to win this fight. They would have no choice but to strip. Otherwise, their sweat would cause any clothing to stick to them and drastically reduce their speed. Falcon, in his chainmail and leather aviator jacket, would be cooked from the inside! Swirl would be blinded by the highlights melting out of his spiky green hair! Lerry would set his face on fire the next time he facepalmed at one of her jokes! Raigh was already dark enough an elf and couldn't afford to get burnt! Kenzen wouldn't be able to finish his homework if his brain were fried! Eriz would blow out like a car engine! June was named after a summer month, so could she get any hotter?! What about Rairah?! All that fur must be making her extra slow and sweaty! And the newcomer would be cooked hotter than gyro and zeppole combined no matter how much she denied it! Jay cared about the safety and well-being of her comrades, who would die if they didn't get naked fast.

Nah, I'm just fuckin' with ya.

Like a snake with the mind of a vulture, Jay's tongue stuck out through a sly smile and feasted on those deliciously shocked expressions, what remained of her teammates' sanity. "Oh, I'm only teasing. It's important to stay positive even when the situation is dire!" she assured them when she'd had her fun. Then, her eyes settled on Falcon. "...Though I really wish you didn't leave so much to the imagination, fearless leader."

Jay did have an actual plan.

"Does everyone see those stalactites that fell to the ground in the dragon's rage? If I can mark each one of them, we may have a chance at victory. Simply attacking its rear won't work... we need to go deeper. But it'll be just as risky as it is risqué..."

It must have been their first time, but Jay had experience. She was the one for the job, and she wouldn't blow it.

"I'll be fine," she promised, turning back to face Swirl and Falcon. "I'm more worried about our leader, anyway. I hope you're doing all right after that nasty hit. ...But I suppose that's what you get for chasing tail, when you've got me~"

The beast stopped breathing fire for a moment, but that was enough of an opportunity. Exuding confidence, Jay smirked as she uttered that last sentence, left the safety of the Portafort, and confronted the Three-Horned head-on.

Falcon slowly looked back at Jay, confused. Even though the femme fatale had been in the guild for quite a while, Falcon still had a hard time telling when she being serious or not at times. Take off their clothes? Falcon was pretty sure that the only reason he survived getting swiped at by the Three-Horned's tail was the defense boost from his armor. Plus, did they even get speed boosts from having no clothes equipped? His thoughts were stopped when Jay revealed that she had only been joking. At Jay's next flirtirous comment, Falcon glanced back at the Three-Horned. Even he couldn't stop the slight blush from the comment.
"I should be fine. Lerry got me with one of his healing bullets." Falcon said.

Falcon caught onto Jay's plan and turned to Swirl.
"Alright. We got to cover Jay. You head right, go for the Three-Horned's legs. The armor's slightly weaker there. I'll head left. Hopefully the others will keep doing what they're doing. I'll try to check up on that new elf chick as well, see what she's up to." Falcon said. "Page?"
"Yeah, boss?" The fairy nervously peeked her head out from under Falcon's jacket. "We going above ground yet?"
"Not yet. Pilot Galaga, you know the plan." Falcon said, gently picking up Page.
"Oh, come on boss!" Page complained as Falcon placed her on the small videogame spaceship. The player aimed the wrist-mounted ship out the top of the Portafort.
"Just try to deal some damage, 'kay?" Falcon said.
"Fiiine..." Page muttered. Falcon launched the drone-like ship and Page began to steer it towards the Three-Horned, ready to open fire.

Falcon exited the Portafort as well, drawing his Plasma Skorpion and trying to make his way towards Allie.

Swirl had barely managed to survive while also snagging some of the fire breath, further strengthening the U.N.I.T pipe. Upon hearing the joke on taking off their clothes, the player had almost done it, but of course decided against it for obvious reasons.

"Imma ignore that, now it is time we give the three horned a taste of its own medicine. Or as my little cousin would say, give him a No U," A smirk grew on Swirl's face as he revealed himself from the Portafort and began firing the dragon's projectiles back at it in a rhythm.

As Lerry heard Eriz shout that he’d distract the dragon, he noticed the Portafort go up, and Jay had began running from it, directly towards the dragon. It seems she had a plan as well, so he figured that maybe he could either act as a distraction for her or double the damage output by getting behind it like he'd planned. Eriz wasn’t creating a distraction for nothing, and he might as well take advantage of it, especially since Eriz was doing it so he could get around it. While the dragon had its sights on Eriz, and more or less Jay, Falcon, and Swirl because they were out of the Portafort, he began slowly making his way to the dragons backside. He kept Big Iron by his side just in case the dragon looked his way, considering he had deadeye aim with it. As he neared the dragon’s exit, he began to rev up his minigun as quietly as possible. He constantly looked around as his gun spun up, and as soon as he saw the slightest of tail movements he began lighting the dragon up, this time at a weaker point. He really didn’t want to keep his eyes open considering where he was firing, but he had to if he wanted to keep up his attack. He then waited for everyone else to follow up.

Unlike the rest of the crew, Eriz didn’t really see an issue in dumping his clothes. Though he had never checked, there was probably nothing his pants were hiding in the first place. Most robots he had seen in movies or games were naked and it wasn’t marked as inappropriate so why would it be here? Though it was probably hot as hell, Eriz couldn’t feel a thing. Not that he wanted too anyways.

As he contemplated taking off his clothes, Eriz had been simultaneously distracting the dragon the best he could as Lerry was getting into position. He had also noted Jay’s plan to not only penetrate the dragon from behind, but also go even deeper. The explanation she had made sense, now they just had too execute it. Unfortunately, all Eriz could really do now was continue his part in distracting the dragon while giving Lerry and Jay the chance to do some major damage.

It was easier said then done as the dragon was angrier than ever before. Eriz barely avoided being lit up by the flames the dragon had sprayed in multiple directions. “Of course someone had to piss it off...” Eriz muttered before standing up and firing at the dragon again. Thankfully Eriz’s distraction had somewhat paid off as Lerry finally reached his position and began shooting.

If they hadn't been in the middle of a boss battle, and she hadn't been on the verge of getting swatted to death by an enraged dragon, she would've stopped what she was doing to give Jay the most disapproving glare that was felinely possible. For the record, her gear consisted of light, practically non-existent cloth or leather armor, and added together gave the whopping defensive value of a wet sheet of paper. Her cloak and boots. contrary to Jay's theory, actually made her faster, and getting naked was a one-way ticket to the respawn point. Though, to be fair, she was probably headed to the respawn point anyway. After having done everything in her power to warn her teammates against hitting the dragon's reverse scale, they had gone and god damn molested it. The blazing aura that now surrounded the dragon's body ensured that her previous stunt would do little more than afflict her with the burning status. Turning to the cause of her problems, Raigh, she mouthed at him from across the room, 'What the flippity flying fuck!?'

At this point, she was all but disarmed as even her daggers were left far too close to the dragon's body for her to successfully retrieve. She made a small note of this issue and reminded herself to have her gear enchanted with a 'Recall' enchantment that would allow them to return to her hands shortly after being thrown.

Instead of heading to the dragon to commit virtual suicide, Rairah instead slunk back to the edges of the room, stalking behind the apparent new arrival who offered her 'help'. To say Rairah wasn't suspicious of her would've been a barefaced lie, the girl looked like a kill-stealer any 3 ways you looked at it. Caressing the pistol holder strapped to her leg, Rairah settled down and watched the newcomer. If she started doing anything funny, the cat-girl would deliver a virtual bullet into her virtual head with no shipping fee; and maybe she'd even drop a 1 time consumable item they could use on the boss.

The Three-Horned shook the earth when it slammed its massive tail down and swept it across the ground to dispose of Lerry. The dragon was livid over the bullets pricking its butt and was fixing to swat him like a fly. He wasn't going deep enough, and the fact that he was struggling to keep his eyes open indicated performance anxiety. A beast of this caliber wasn't interested in a gunner who wasn't coming hard enough. The dragon wanted size and length, and those slugs weren't hitting that ass properly. A rock-solid stalactite would do the trick.

As the monster absorbed Swirl's returning fireballs into its blazing aura, Jay started moving. She handsprung onto one stalactite and flourished her lipstick midair, quickly marking the stone and kicking off to the next one with the aid of her wings. The Three-Horned caught on and breathed flames, following Jay with its head as she tumbled from stalactite to stalactite.

"Almost there. These hard rocks will have my lips all over them..."

She meant Lipstick, but she was too out of breath to get it right. The succubus had to move fast because the flames were catching up to her, and all the sweat dripping from her cleavage wasn't putting them out anytime soon.

"I wish a nice gentleman would help me carry my groceries, because these melons are too heavy..."

Jay said this just as her wings caught fire and began taking burn damage. She looked and saw her back ablaze, worried about the sweeping row of flames gaining on her more than anything else and focusing only on speeding ahead.

So the succubus didn't realize that she was within range of the Three-Horned Dragon's tail, until it was right in front of her, smacking her in the face, sending Jay flying in the other direction through the very fire she had been trying to avoid. She crashed into the cave walls so hard that she was stuck in the dent, the burn damage still eating away at her health.

"I... hope... I'll... I hope I'll-..."

I hope I'll still be sexy after this, or I will sue the company that made this game.

After flipping over the fire breath, Raigh landed on the ground and looked around. He heard Jay's comment about getting naked and decided to ignore it. He sptted the new arrival. "If you're going to hang around I suggest you don't stand near the flaming dragon?" He shouted over towards her. Raigh then noticed Rairah mouth a few words his way. After reading what Rairah was throwing at him, Raigh scratched his head before dashing towards Rairah. "You said hitting the reverse scale might trigger a rage boost, so there was still a chance it could not have." He said in an attempt to justified himself. "But Yeah, sorry about that." He added after holding his sniper towards the dragon.

He saw Jay getting smacked by the dragon. "Hey Lerry! Jay could use a healing bullet right about now!" He shouted.

With the fastest reaction time possible, which was really the only fast thing about Lerry, he shut off the Blinding Obliteration before he was knocked back by the dragon’s giant sweeping tail. One slight movement while the gun was still on and welcome to a few hours of repairs. While he noticed Jay was hurt, he was unfortunately out of healing bullets. And he himself was hurting, a bit less, but still enough to take a massive chunk of his health, which was a little scary, considering he (probably) had higher health than most of his teammates as he was a heavy, and his armor had been tough to back. However, he needed to think of something, so he again backed away from its range, quickly pulling out his only Sandvich. “Sorry, all out I’m afraid!” He said, still knocked over on the floor, and eating his Sandvich. Of course, he’d have to buy another, but considering what the dragon had done to him, still worth it. The sandvich healed him to about 5/8ths of his health. “Better than nothing...” Justin said. He then remembered that there was one more place that had less protection, the feet. And while he wasn’t directly behind it, he was closer to the back of the dragon. And surely the backside of the dragon’s feet would have less scales than the front. He pulled out his trusty Big Iron, and began taking pot shots at the feet. And... slow reload time... he’d really hoped the dragons tail would not sweep towards him again.

Jay's eyes blinked weakly, her ears ringing as if they had been blown out by a grenade. Her shouting comrades were reduced to background noise, and she felt herself losing consciousness, slipping out of Hyper Zero Fantasy World, the fire eating away at the sliver of health she had left.

But at that moment, the entire world froze. Lerry's shots stopped midair, Raigh stopped midsentence, and Falcon stopped midway to Allie. Jay, too, must have been in the middle of something, perhaps in Purgatory, on her way back to Hell from whence all succubi came. This was no longer the consciousness that she was losing, but an alternate one entirely. Jay could see everything clearly now: Swirl's face twisted into a smirk, Rairah's eyes narrowed in suspicion, Eriz pulling out his Big Iron.

No... that was Lerry. Her vision must still have been a little blurry, because Jay couldn't fathom how she got that wrong. The robot had decided to keep his clothes on, after all.

Clearer than anything, however, was the misty white silhouette of a woman standing before her.

"...Hello?" asked a bewildered Jay. She had so many questions, from the most basic to the most complex. Was she still in the game? What was this place? How, in this motionless realm, in any realm, was a phantom the only sign of life? But the succubus doubted that she would get any answers from a featureless apparition.

"..."

"Well, this is awkwar-"

"Yeah, I heard you. I was just being edgy and staying silent, because that's what ghosts are supposed to do. I'm sticking to my character here! Unlike you... that 'hello' was a lot less bold and flirty than usual, Jay," the misty woman spoke.

"Well, I don't really swing that way, but if you want the flirty me, then... how do you know me? Because I'd like to get to know you better~" the succubus replied, mustering enough confidence through all her confusion.

"Eh, good enough. But to answer your question, all you need to know is that I'm here to warn you of something sinister," the figure began. "For this is divine intervention."

Jay didn't know how to respond. She had a second round of questions in her head now. Was this a glitch? An Easter egg? A moderator contacting her? The in-game deity of Hyper Zero Fantasy World?

"I'm none of those, sweetie," the woman read her mind. "I am one of the many gods that control your actions and those of your teammates. Right now, the Sirius Crusaders are in grave danger, worse than anything that the Three-Horned Dragon can do."

"I... okay, I don't know what some of that even means and I'm sure the answer is a total mindfuck, so just tell me this: what danger are you talking about?"

"Straight to the point. Just like everyone's manhood as soon as they lay eyes on you..." the apparition smirked. "...So I'll be straight with you. You and your teammates are stuck in the Loop."

"The Loop?"

"Yes, the Loop. It is a phenomenon in which RPers are stuck at some point in the story, making the same kinds of posts over and over, not really getting anywhere, until there's nothing new to add. Then they lose interest, and the replies stop coming. The situation you're in right now is a perfect example of that. All of you have just been hitting the dragon over and over, doing little damage but sustaining little yourselves, so this fight has dragged on with no progression in either direction. I mean, you don't really have a choice; you can't make your attacks do a lot, or else the Three-Horned would be too easy. You also don't want to take too much damage yourselves, because you're trying not to look weak. So you're stuck in this limbo, forced to attack it endlessly, accomplishing nothing and eventually boring yourselves out of posting... That, Jay, is the Loop."

The succubus felt as if her brain was being sucked into Swirl's U.N.I.T. Pipe. She was usually the one giving brain (she's very smart), getting piped (her dad is a plumber), and doing the sucking (she sucks in battle), so this was the most unbearable sensation she'd ever experienced. It was as if she were spiraling along the nine circles of Hell down to the very bottom, unable to wrap her head around anything that the phantom was saying with quite the same circularity.

"I don't understand any of it! What the hell is an RPer?! We're fighting as hard as we can! Of course we don't want to take damage!"

"Sigh... let me give you another example. A dance at a romantic power high school that drags on and on with no climax, no unifying event that brings the characters together. So the kids continue to dance aimlessly, the posts becoming shorter and shorter, doing little to move the plot along. They're trying to make the event last long enough for the plot, but posts with no progression will never fill that void, no matter how many more there are. Quality over quantity. A few replies that actually get the ball rolling will make the dance a much more complete arc. Alas, these poor children are stuck in the Loop, and the RP has slowed considerably. You never want to stay in the same place or do the same thing for too long, because repetition leads to boredom."

"Like your long-winded explanations?"

"Fuck you."

"Yeah, I know time is frozen and all, but I don't have all day. I'm being serious with you, not the way I am around my teammates, so I'd appreciate it if you got to the point and dumbed it down even more."

"Fine! You want dumb? I'll give you dumb! Think of the Loop as a dark spell! You fight using dark spells, right? Great, now I'm speaking your language! The Demon Lord of Hyper Zero Fantasy World has cast a spell of increasing boredom over all of cyberspace! So you'll have to defeat the Three-Horned while afflicted by this omnipresent curse! Quickly, or you'll succumb!"

"I usually swallow it whole, but whatever."

"Haha, very funny," the ghosted woman replied unenthusiastically. "But you need to do something! Break the Loop! Continue the story! Your teammates are counting on you right now! You told them you had a plan! They don't know what they're doing without you, so get in there!"

"I barely have any health left! I'm powerless!" Jay cried.

"Sometimes," the apparition reflected, "RP's are powerless, too. Even when there's still interest, even when there's no Loop, they can die simply because the people involved are no longer active on the site. But we have to rise again, Jay. Rise like a phoenix, whose fire burns so brightly that it consumes the flames that cloak the enemy before you. You haven't lost until you've given up."

"I still don't know what half of that means, but... you're right. Somehow," the succubus conceded.

"Glad we're finally on the same page. Now, when I snap my fingers, the world will start moving again. And the Three-Horned's tail will be smacking Raigh from behind, into Rairah so that they kiss, because I shipped them in the discussion. Now, I can't write that in myself; I can only set it in motion, or else it would be a forced hit. Next, a stalactite will be falling on Lerry's head," concluded the phantom. "Now I must be going."

"Wait! Will I see you again?" Jay asked.

"Only when you're in serious danger. But if you level up your Lipstick as high as it can go, you just might be able to summon me..." the ghost answered vaguely. "Now get going! I'm pretty sure I have no friends left after talking all that shit! I'll tag all of them real quick in case they lost notifications @_obsequious @kyuukestu @Rohan Kishibe @Captain Cardboard @SoulDemon @Not Gyro Zeppeli @Retro Master @ThatJustin’sASpy! @Nebulix ! Anyway, you still have friends, and they need you!"

"One last thing! Who are you...?"

"Yo mama, bitch. Now get back in there!"

With a snap of the phantom's fingers, the cyberspace unfroze, and Jay worked her way out of the wall with a renewed determination to do battle. The flames were no longer eating away at her health, but one more hit would do her in.

"Raigh! Lerry! Watch out! Everyone else, cover me!" she yelled. "I don't mean get on top of me! I mean make sure I don't get hit! And try not to hit me yourselves, though I know you all want to~"

The smirk never faded from Jay's face as she took off and flew toward the nearest marked stalactite.

"Hokus Pokus Rollus Dopus Blastus Focus Lokus Mochus EveryonestandbackcauseI'mbouttalickthisdragonharderthan@Rohan Kishibe'sprofilepic-us!"

When she recited the incantation, the stone vanished into thin air. She needed to go around and store each of the buried spikes in a pocket dimension. But holding all of them in that alternate space would put enormous pressure on her mind, reducing her movements to a crawl.

Keeping one contained already slowed her significantly. So Jay didn't know if she would be able to dodge the dragon's massive claw, which was bearing down on her right then.

And just like that, Swirl felt like he was stuck, he wasn't doing anything, sure he was just aimlessly hitting the dragon and then, he just stopped. He lost motivation, like he was in a Loop of sorts, and you know what, it was starting to bore Swirl.

You've forgotten my child, haven't you?

Um, excuse me but who are you?

Not important, what is important is that you've forgotten why you came here.

I guess I have, haven't I?

Yep, you've fallen into the Loop, which also isn't important, what is important is that you help out your teammates, especially Jay L. This all seems a bit cryptic, but can't break too much of the fourth wall.

Soon the voice left, and in its place was motivation, motivation to keep going, motivation to defeat this stupid dragon, and more importantly, motivation to move on with life.

"Jay! How can I help you? Just tell me what to do and I'll get on it, I'm tired of fighting this thing,"

And let's break the Loop. Dang it missed a good opportunity for a pun or something.

Falcon winced as Jay was burnt and slapped into the wall. To his relief, the succubus was back on her feet with only a bit of health left, marked out by his Cronus Goggles. She said some really long spell or something, and one of the stalactites she had marked suddenly disappeared. Falcon still wasn't 100% sure what Jay was planning, but he was beginning to get an inkling.
"Alright, everyone! You heard Jay, let's get going!" Falcon commanded, running between rubble and towards the Three-Horned. Jay had began flying again, but for some reason she was much slower. So slow, she might not be able to dodge the swipe that the Three-Horned was sending at her. Lerry was down, and pretty much everyone looked scattered all around.

"Yo, Page! Can we try that strategy now?" Falcon asked, drawing the Photon Blade.
"Uh, boss, is that really a good idea?! We don't even know if the Galaga can take your weight!" Page yelled back.
"Just do it!" Falcon said, changing the course of his running. The Cronus Goggles responded to his change in course, showing the best path. Falcon jumped onto some of the larger rubble as the Galaga ship flew close, and Falcon jumped. The Galaga ship flew under one of Falcon's feet, giving him a second jump point.

"Yoooo!" Falcon yelled. The Galaga ship burst into pixels as Page flew free. The boost from Galaga, plus the reduced weight perk from Falcon's Aviator Jacket, put him on just the right course for the Dragon's claw. The Cronus Goggles quickly identified the weakest point, a small gap in it's scales on it's paw.
"Take this, you sunovabitch!" Falcon exclaimed, sinking his Photon Blade into the Three-Horned's paw up to the hilt. Hopefully, that would throw off the Three-Horned's aim just enough for Jay to dodge the attack. But now he was stuck to the Dragon's paw. Great.

Rairah's expression fell until she was shooting Raigh the most deadpan you-moron look she could muster. She sighed with frustration, wrapping her Chameleon's cloak around her tightly, as she shrunk into a ball to avoid notice, her figure diminutive. The cat girl slinked into a far corner of the room, her billowing cloak akin to an oversized sweater that concealed her, obscuring her presence until her figure was no longer one of the flamboyant Rairah, but rather of the reclusive, frequently overlooked Lysia.

Rairah froze, her virtual body coming to an abrupt halt as if struck by a Basilisk's gaze- something she wouldn't be surprised if the Three-horned Dragon had.

'What are you doing..?'
The girl's body trembled, and she stuttered, mentally fumbling over her own words, unable to respond to her own questions. The question rang in her ear, a gentle nudge that pushed at her heartstrings.

'Hyper Zero was supposed to be a second life, wasn't it..? It wasn't supposed to be like this...be like, reality.'
The questions were gentle, a lull at the back of her mind, but the words were harsh and brutal, the snarls of a vicious beast bearing fangs and claws which tore into the tender flesh of her emotions. Rairah went into shock, her mind reeling and her chest tightening, an icy illusory hand seemed to grasp at her heart, and Rairah paled. Her fears and discomfort from reality seemed to seep into the virtual world, threatening to destroy everything that separated Rairah from Lysia. Threatening to chain the spunky, uninhibited catgirl into the plain, passive shell of her human player, never to return.

'Are you really throwing all that away and reverting back to reality? Are you really throwing 'Rairah' away?'
Within Rairah's, or rather Lysia's, own little world of thought silence reigned. The world slowed and time trickled to a halt until all that remained was Lysia, and the phantom image of Rairah who opposed- the catgirl who was also Lysia, yet distinctly different. Where Lysia was plain, Rairah was extravagant, Lysia lived the boring, tedious life of a goody-two-shoes college while Rairah was an adventurer dancing on the edge of a blade with only the edge of her own blades to keep her hooked down. Amidst all the comparisons that fluttered through Lysia's mind, they all boiled down to the simple fact that Rairah was fun, and isn't that all she truly needed? Perhaps she was secretly hedonistic, or perhaps she'd simply spent too much time looking at Jay, but whatever it was it was the volatile fuel that kickstarted time, a wild surge of emotion that got her heart beating and her body quivering in excitement.

She was using her head too much, what was the point of proceeding with the caution of a hunted rat? Wasn't she a predator? Were those claws and fangs of hers purely for decoration? Even if she died...so what?

What she'd just been doing, slinking unnoticed within a corner while the world passed her by...that was Lysia's nightmare, but right now, she wasn't Lysia, she was Rairah, a figment of her dreams brought to life by a Hyper Zero Fantasy. She'd take these dreams that lived inside her heart, and splash them across the nightmare in her head.

Before she even knew it, she was in motion, hand and feet grasping at the ground propelling her forward with all the speed her beast-kin body could muster. At some point, her Chameleon's cloak had fallen from her body, no longer concealing and restricting her movements. Lithe, powerful, well-defined muscles flexed as Rairah bounded forth, her tail, a foxtail of pink fur swaying behind her to aid her balance. She raced across the room, her hair and fur flew about wildly, pink flames that ignited the air with Rairah's determination. She hadn't even heard Falcon speak, the world around her momentarily drowned out by the adrenaline-fueled blood which rushed through her veins, and her pounding heart which beat in her ears. Her vision narrowed as she blitzed towards her target, a single obsidian dagger which lay beneath the Dragon's hulking figure.

With Jay and Falcon distracting the beast's claws, and its tail still on its return trip after sweeping away Lerry, the sprinting feline had an almost unhindered path to her weapon, one which she covered in almost no time flat. As she approached the dagger her adrenaline built into a crescendo, and when her hands clenched over the dagger's hilt her body hit its peak. The world, previously a backdrop to the excitement she felt within herself, thundered around her, the Dragon releasing earth-shattering roars as Falcon plunged his photon sword into the beast's paw. The bestial sound instantly dragged her back from her adrenaline-fueled tunnel vision, and all the girl's senses reignited flooding her mind with stimuli. The familiar feel of her dagger clenched within her fist was the first sensation to return, and after which the less familiar but instantly recognizable feeling of falling as she lost balance. Having been sprinting on all fours, her grab at the dagger had instantly compromised one of her limbs and the remaining three struggled desperately to keep her upright, unfortunately, forward momentum would be having none of that. With a slight tap from the physical force of nature, the catgirl went forward, tumbling head over heels and she rolled beneath the Dragon's girth.

She reacted swiftly, instinctually as her back twisted and she reoriented herself on her feet, her claws and dagger digging into the ground as she ground to a halt. Despite her minor tumble, she'd landed on her feet- as cats always do. With the fading of the dragon's roars, the girl felt another, certainly instinctual, feeling well within herself, and before she even knew what was going out her fur was on end, her back was arched and-

"HIIISSSSSSSSS~"

Perhaps it was her feral nature as a beast-kin -no, it definitely was- but the Dragon's roars provoked something within her and she couldn't help but retort with a roar of her own...or rather her minor hissy-fit.

Whether it was simply Lysia's wild side or Rairah's system enhanced instincts, one of them was taking the catgirl and soon the three-horned Dragon, for a ride. Her back already arched from her hissing but a brief second ago, Rairah was perfectly set to spring into motion, which she did without the slighted hesitation. From the corner of her vision, she could see her health bar steadily draining, the blazing aura of the dragon making visible dents in her rather pitiable health pool at a rapid pace. If she stood still, perhaps she could last a full minute or so beneath the Dragon's aura, and that was assuming she was taking damage from the aura alone.

With each second her health dropped by almost 2%, and by the time she'd once again closed the distance between her and the Dragon, her health was dipping into it's 80s. Her hisses from earlier had also allowed the Dragon to take notice of her, and as she approached it swept out with its remaining arm, briefly supporting its weight with only its hind legs. The wicked claws, more than capable of reaping away Rairah life approached her rapidly, the scorching wind radiating off the Dragon's scales howling as it was ripped apart by the deadly drake.

Eyes narrowing, Rairah tensed in response to the sweltering heat and imminent danger. As the sweeping claw approached, the catgirl leaped, her body rotating as it straightened in mid-air seeking to slip past the incoming menace. Due to a combination of heat and fur, a fine glisten of sweat had coated Rairah's body and as she vaulted through the air causing her clothing to stick to her figure far more than it should've. With her death-defy motions, her body and the material covering it were stretched to their limits, exposing each of the supple contours of her figure, but only for the slightest of moments before they were once again concealed by the passing reptilian claws. Contrary to popular belief, Jay was not the only S-shaped figure within their group, but as opposed to Jay's 'S', Rairah was perhaps merely an 's'.

Although she'd dodged the brunt of the attack, while in transit between the jagged claws, Rairah had taken a rather nasty graze which punched through her non-existence armor and tore a thin line from her thigh straight to her torso, ruthlessly slashing her health in half. By the time she'd landed, her hp had begun falling into its 30s. Having stuck her landing, but in no position to stay still, Rairah rolled across the ground to preserve her momentum. As she scrambled to her feet her jeweled pupils, the colors of ruby and garnet, flicked back and forth, instantly locking onto an opportunity. With roughly 15 seconds remaining until the Dragon's blazing Aura finished her off, Rairah pounced a pink spark flying off a flint and onto the Dragon's arm. Her gaze locked onto the sleek musculature of the Dragon's arm and Falcon who helplessly hung from it. Her eyes narrowed into feline slits, and a soft pink tongue traced across her lips as she eyed the inner section of the Dragon's joint where she could see the bulge of it's muscles through the scales as it leveraged its great power. Going based on a wild guess that the scales between the beasts joints would be thinner to facilitate movement, Rairah gripped her dagger with both hands and viciously brought the blade down, doing just as their name suggested, Stike & Sever!

The blade met some resistance but backed by the full strength and weight of one emblazoned catgirl, the keen edge struck the beast and severed through a thin layer of flesh a blood. Suddenly, the Dragon's arm went limp, and Rairah smirked as she knew she'd successfully sever the tendon in the beast's arm. Enraged the dragon flailed, and as Rairah motioned to clench onto her dagger to keep her in place a notification flashed across her vision-

You've Lost more than 90% of your health within a short period of Time!
You've been afflicted with the [Crippled] Status!
Completely aghast, she watched helplessly as her body went limp, her grip loosening as she was flung across the room, set on a collision course with a wall. Glancing at her health, she noticed it'd fallen to 8%. By the time she'd left the range of the Dragon's blazing aura, she'd been chipped down to 5%.

Sighing with a hint of frustration, but resigned to her fate Rairah closed her eyes and she awaited the last two notifications she would receive, one of blunt trauma after hitting the wall, and the next welcoming the cold embrace of vitrual death. Her eyes remained closed for only a second, and soon after they snapped open and the girl snarled almost a scream,
"KILL that Scaley FUCKER!"

Before Jay could give him a command or something, Swirl had nearly broken his neck to see Rairah, in what looked to be pretty bad condition for her physical health. Before he could "kill that scaley fucker" as his falling companion put it, the player first had to deal with the matter of catching the falling beast-kin.

I'm coming, I'm coming I'm coming....

Swirl used his pipe to vault over to where Rairah was falling and opened his arms to receive her. Once he was able to, Swirl wrapped his arms around his target carefully, akin to a reassuring hug.

I came, nice. Now I'm gonna fall...

As soon as Swirl jumped to catch Rairah in the air, a black blur quickly followed behind him. Raigh caught both of his guild mates in the air as they fell. "Whoa there buddy, if you're going to save someone at least make sure you can save yourself." He said with a smirk on his face. With the reduced falling speed provided by his boots, Raigh safely descended to the ground carrying his teammates. "Now let's do as the lady said and kill that scaly fucker."

"Ow, ow, ow!" Falcon muttered, still clinging onto his sword. He had forgotten about the Blazing Aura ability, and that was beginning to sting. Still angry about the prick in it's paw, the Three-Horned moved to scrape it's paw against the wall to dislodge Falcon. Luckily, before Falcon could be ground to a pulp his Photon Blade dislodged and Falcon fell. On the way down, he couldn't help but to watch as both Swirl and Raigh caught Rairah. Gee, thanks guys.

Usually, a fall from that height would cause some serious damage. Thankfully, once again the perk from Falcon's Aviator Jacket came into use. Falcon slammed onto the ground, his health falling to about 40%. The human quickly got to his feet, picking up his Photon Blade and running back at the Three-Horned.
"Let's go, people!" Falcon yelled, firing his Plasma Skorpion as he charged. It was a useless gesture, most of the plasma bolts simply bouncing off the Three-Horned's scales.

Normally, Swirl would be offended by such a jab, but two things caused him to smirk back, one Raigh was a cool dude, and two, the smirk told the player that his guild mate said so in a joking manner.

"Alright then, wanna take him together Raigh?" Soul quickly came to his side after doing whatever else. Once his companion rejoined him, Swirl cracked his knuckles and readied himself.

Bringing his sniper back out, Raight glanced at Swirl who spoke to him and seemed eager to go attack the dragon. “Yeah sure why not, let’s get him.” He said. Scanning the dragon, Raigh aimed to see what the best course of action. “Since the dragon’s rage boost has already been activated, there shouldn’t be anything restricting us from aiming at its reverse scale, so let’s attack there.” He explained. Scanning the rest of the members of his guild, Raight noticed Jay and noticed she was up to something. “Jay seem to have a plan and needs cover, so let’s provide her with it her while she gets ready.” He said as he aimed his sniper towards the three-horned’s reverse scale and fire multiple rounds at it.

"So the hit the weak point for massive damage, got it," Swirl got Soul to recharge his pipe so it's sucking abilities would give Jay a run for her money. Vaulting towards the dragon, Swirl began spinning around in a spiral to get some momentum mid air before walking the reverse scale as hard as he could. He didn't intend to stop there, as he got a couple more minor hits in before gravity could take it's course and cause him to fall down. Of course Raigh also got in some shots with his sniper and god only knows what else hit that reverse scale.

A couple more wacks like that and he's dead, let's just hope Rairah is recovering nicely, cause if she wasn't, that would be bad.

Although she'd expected a notification of death, it seems her teammates had other plans. Midway through her aerial flight, her body had been intercepted by Swirl, and although they seemed to both plummet to the ground, she was relatively protected with the way he choose to wrap his body around hers. Not a moment sooner than they'd started falling, did Raigh come to their apparent rescue and catch them both, allowing them to land safely.

No longer in any immediate danger of death, Rairah released a breath she didn't know she'd been holding, and relief and gratitude washed over her body. The latter of her two emotions was, however, short-lived as Raigh and Swirl promptly ditched her crippled body in favor of a bromance moment as they faced off against the dragon. While she couldn't give them any less than savory looks or gestures due to her status condition, that didn't stop the Catgirl from launching into a tirade of mental abuse towards her teammates. Helpless, she chose to bide get time, eyes simmered with rage, threatening to erupt in an explosion of hellfire and brimstone.

Looking towards the dragon, Raigh saw Swirl's rush attack on the dragon. "Watch out for the burning effect!" He shouted towards Swirl who was physically attacking the three-horned. "The dragon's almost half health, we can do this." He thought. As he was still near Rairah, Raigh heard her release a breath and glanced back. He saw Rairah with a mean look on her face. "Oh, looks like she's alright, but why is she making a face like that?" He thought to himself as a rather confused look grew in his eyes. He backed up slightly to move closer to Rairah. "Hey what's up?" He asked casually.

"Jay! How can I help you? Just tell me what to do and I'll get on it. I'm tired of fighting this thing."

Could Swirl not see that the dragon's claw was about to tear her apart? He was offering help but he was really just standing there, daydreaming. That was about as dumb as Raigh's "You said hitting the reverse scale might trigger a rage boost, so there was still a chance it could not have." Jay was thinking that the two were meant for each other. Swirl said he'd do something, and didn't; Raigh said he wouldn't do something, and did.

Instead the former saved Rairah, choosing the cat girl over her when their situations were equally dire. This, after pledging his support to her. Jay would've died of a broken heart before the dragon's claw even made contact...

Had Falcon not appeared and stuck the beast's paw right then, driving it down and out of her way.

"Finally, a real man comes to my rescue!" exclaimed a blushing Jay. Perhaps their composed leader had a soft spot for her, after all.

Rairah wasn't as cheerful, however. The poor kitty just got dumped by two guys at the same time. Jay knew better than to envy her for temporarily getting more males, because they didn't stick around. Just how much did she turn them off in those few seconds for Raigh to decide that he'd rather get pipe than get pussy, talk to Swirl instead of the cat girl? They'd held her all the way to the ground, yet she couldn't even hold their attention.

Jay smirked. Seeing the two boys together consummated the image in her head earlier. Now she needed to execute an even grander plan. Whichever way Swirl was swirling, she'd have him wrapped around her little finger in no time. He seemed so optimistic about the effectiveness of his attacks, when the boss still had about 60% of its health left. If he was done sucking, Jay would finish.

"Okay! I'm going to need someone to keep the dragon's tail in the air! A flying distraction!" she ordered. "Eriz! When you see an opening, get in there and apply the lubricant that you use to oil your machinery! But save some for later~"

She strained to project her voice under the stalactite's mental pressure. Rairah, however crippled physically, and mentally over her luck with guys, had stabbed the Three-Horned and bought her enough time to at least catch her breath as the dragon flailed about. With two great flaps of her wings, Jay was in the air once more, circling the beast, chanting incantations and picking up the marked stones one by one. She was now the only moving target and the focus of the dragon's attention.

So when the succubus looked back and saw a fast-approaching wave of flames, it was not unexpected. The last time, Jay had narrowly avoided it at top speed, but she slowed with each stalactite that she sealed away. No matter how forcefully she flapped her wings, the fire was about to consume her. Jay had taken the lead, but that was all that her body felt like now. She could tease Rairah for days about how she needed two guys to save her, but she was presently heavier than Lerry and Eriz combined.

I feel like a sagging ballsack, when the whole reason I started playing Hyper Zero Fantasy World was to forget that I had a ballsack! Why does this game remind me at the worst possible times?!

She instead expressed her frustration as resignation, and started to apologize. "Everyone, I've failed. I'm s- Ow!"

The succubus was more surprised than in pain when bird feet dug into her shoulders. Jay's companions had returned in her time of need! Her Tits were flapping, compensating for her decreasing speed and pushing her ahead.

"Titties?! What are you doing here?! If you stay, you'll turn into fried chicken and Raigh will gobble you up! You know how much dark elves love fried chicken!"

She was breathless and speaking at 1,000 words per minute, not understanding most of what she'd said. So when the magic birds simply chirped in response, Jay didn't want to argue, especially when her Tits had just saved her ass.

"Thanks so much..." wheezed the succubus. "I guess you can stay... As for everybody else: Kenzen, Falcon, June, anyone who isn't lubing or distracting... Do just that! Distract! And move around, too!"

The demon spoke her last command before she collapsed, barely outlasting the fire breath and gathering the remaining stalactites. Her body was still lead, but Jay felt more like a woman than ever before. A skimpily clad she-devil ordering people around? All she was missing were chains and a whip. If she could crawl under the Three-Horned unnoticed, she would end this with her next move and give the dragon the wildest night of its cyberlife. Break the Loop where it poops.

Swirl adjusted himself to regain firm footing on the ground, before looking at Raigh and Rairah who were about to start a conversation, from the looks of it. He then remebered that Rairah was really banged up and it would be a little selfish not to respond.

"You doing all right?" Swirl shouted towards the cat girl in case she needed a reminder that he cared for her well being. Now that he took care of that, he still had to help out his succubus companion.

"Sorry bout that, couldn't let Rairah die now could I? Now, let's finish this dragon and break this loop,"
