Angel-B505 grunted in distaste as she stood in the middle row, unable to see the platform. Cursing her height, she elbowed her way to the side, ignoring the jeers sent her way from her fellow soldiers, all well above six feet. So what she was the smallest Spartan in history At least the rest thought so, so what if she was on the very tip of the younger side. She was small, she was fiery, and she could kick your rear end to next week for all she cared.

She stopped cursing her height, beginning to thank her smallness as she lithely made her way to the end of the row. Why was she placed in the middle of all places? And finally made her way to the stage briskly, walking up and stood at attention, and glancing at her new team leader from the corner of her eye.

"And in second command we have Spartan 505" the feminine voice droned
Zak looked at his teammate activating promethean vision and identifying the codes that was after all why he was nicknamed the scanner and this was also the reason his friends had called him a stalker. When he found the identity number he turned of promethean vision and looked at the new Spartan 505 other wise known as Angelica Hoppe small, well built, perfect for battle and underestimated

Angel sighed to herself but remained at rigid attention, with nothing better to do and having to keep her head still she scanned the crowd. She caught sight of a few particular soldiers, she remembered they gave her some trouble, then she found a lone yellow and black Spartan. Didn't I break his nose once? she honestly couldn't remember, she doesn't deny that she did cause a scuffle or two after a snide remark was made in her direction.

Let's be honest, she is still technically a teenager, she would ride the excuse out as long as she could and blame it on hormones acting up from augmentation.

"That is all for now. Your fire team will be all sharing rooms" The feminine voice said "later the select few who joined a fire squad will be receiving AI"
Zak sparked up at this he was one of the youngest Spartans he knew. He turned to Angelica "okay to start things of I am not the most strict leader so I probably won't yell or all the other fire team captains and I have no idea why I was chosen for captain two let's just be friends. And I really need to know what do you specialise in? And may I please call you angel" Zak said speaking fast
He hoped for other members not because he disliked Angel it's just that he had the smallest fire squad

Angel blinked at the rapid fire of questions, but she got the gist of it. "Remember to breathe, soldier, I'll try not to give you a hard time." She gave the side of his arm a friendly punch, "But I am specialized in the Operator class, you need something suicidal done I'm your gal, or if you just want to go out with a bang." There was definitely a smirk in her voice.

"But yes, I would prefer being called Angel. The short-stack jokes are not desirable."

Name: Isaac Willow
Nickname: Spanner
Service Code: 261
Description: Standard coloured Engineer-class MJOLNIR armour, short light brown hair and dark brown eyes, has an unhinged sort of grin.
Ability: Hologram
Type of soldier: Engineer
Weapon: SAW and M41 SSR

"Spartan 261, please get up and join Fire-team Eclipse." Isaac tried his best to wade through a crowd towards the other two Spartans on the platform. Some Spartans tried there best to make a scratch on his armour with their guns or armour, this specific type of armour was one of the rarest to see in service as only a select amount were in service at one time. There were probably a few Spartans just waiting for him to kick the bucket so they could have a go in one of these. In fact, with his relatively unhinged mind he was too surprised he had held onto life to reach this point, he had some bad marks from near death experiences, mostly all caused by a lack of awareness. What could he say, he just loved bombs.

He tried his best not to look too awkward just shifting from one foot to the other, the two with him were senior than him. He never wanted to have to accept the fact somebody had authority, that and his general lack of safety had made this his final warning before he was going to have to face consequences, most importantly the loss of the special armour, going to somebody 'less likely to blow themselves up'. Whatever that meant.

Angel turned her gaze to their last minute addition. Surprise surprise she had to look up, what else was new. He was probably older than her as well, but no one needed to know she was under 20 yet, right?

She thrust her hand out to shake hands with her newest team member, "Quit looking like a lost puppy, relax a bit. And please use my actual name." How does Angel make a casual statement sound crisp and curt? I'll work on that later. She thought

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dillon heard his I.D. called for Fire team Eclipse and stood up starting to make his way to the others. When he made his way to the team on the platform he was assigned to he made a mental note not to try and start a fight. As he made his way to join the group he said with a hint of an accent "Looks like we're all a team now." He looked at the people also in Fire team Eclipse noticing that everyone looked like they were apart of completely different teams that were merged together. Dillon looked at the leader of the squad Zak and said "I'm Dillon, Dillon Stone most people call me the Reaper" as he said this he held out his hand to Zak.

"That is all for now the next training program will begin immediately using sedative darts please head to the training room Fire team Eclipse and Fire Team Ivy" The voice said
Zak shook hands with his new team "okay on the way to training we plan out I am good with a sniper but also a good scout." He said showing the battle rifle. "Alright so will I scout then come back or stay back and snipe with Dillon and you two sneak up on them?" Zak asked

Zak thought about strategies but couldn't really come up with a good one 'man for what ever reason they chose me for captain it was not planning i suck at that' he thought to himself. Zak started walking in the direction of the training center he turned around mid stride "well are you co-" he stopped himself "Come on Spartans lets go...... man i suck at this"
Zak looked at the readout on his helmet "damn it we will be late c'mon!" Zak broke into a run

Isaac broke out into a huge grin under his helmet to Zak's suggestion. "I don't really know about sneaking up on them. I'm not exactly... subtle in my work. It's pretty easy to track me." As Zak ran to reach the training area, he stood leisurely until he realised he had to make sure he got in no trouble. This was his last chance after all. He ran after his new fireteams leader.

On the way he thought about tactics. He could possibly utilise his hologram. Unlike most engineers, he didn't bring standard heal bubbles or sentry turrets. He could probably use his sneaky tactic to maybe make a massive diversion, then use the hologram to make them think he was dealt with.

"I'd think we use one of us as a dummy, someone who can take or dodge hits and deliver some too. Keep thrm on their toes, and drive attention away from Zak and Dillon. The key I think is to keep moving."

Angel suggested as she lightly jogged down the hall.

Zak turned around and ran into Isaac.
"Okay new plan you shoot the hell out of them I will get Angel to Blow them to god knows where and well Dillon can snipe people and I will scout and knock some people out or shoot them in the face" Zak took of his helmet and flashed a grin at Isaac "That sound good?" He then repeated it down to Angel and Dillon "the training room is just there come on"

Ability: hard light sheild
Type of soldier: brute
Weapons: Gravity hammer, combat rifle, pistol, and combat knife

---------
A large woman followed her team and listened to their plan but, didn't day anything. She followed them before finally tapping on Zak's right shoulder. She titled her head to the side and waved before pointing at the training room door, "are we to wait out here, sir? I'm not sure if it would good if we are to be late".

She then stood back a little bit and crossed her arms, a few of the workers that had been walking behind the group looking surprised as they had thought the the tall female was a man. She then stretched her arms over her arms and looked at the workers who scurried away when they realized they were staring.

Zak whirled at being tapped on the shoulder he jumped back into a fighting stance checking the codes from promethean vision.
Meadow Grey or Spartan 922. Zak cleared his throat "oh uh are you part of my Fire Team?" He asked. On waiting for a reply he opened the training door "Dillion find a sniping spot Isaac get some traps ready and Angel get ready to blow some people sky high and uh Grey may I call you Grey? Where do you want to go? Up close and personal or what?" He asked unsliging his battle rifle "alright team lets go!" He yelled

"You need to be more confident, sir. You can call me grey, my friends call me Binesiwag. Up close and personal is my job, do not worry," Meadow nodded also unslinging her weapon, ready to follow her squad leader into the simulation. The crimson and white armoured woman holding herself high and militarized, keeping her stance as intimidating as possible, "I can take a beating so I don't mind being a distraction for our resident sniper".

" what are he waiting for let's get to work" Dillon said as he started to climb up the side of a structure. As he made it to the top he pulled out his rifle and set up activating his camo, "3 hostiles 35 meters ahead 2 meters to the left permission to engage," he said taking aim at the enemy soldiers in the distance. His finger sat on the trigger eager to fire his first shot.

"Okay Go!" He activated promethean vision and turned on the radio in his helmet.
"Alright Eclipde there is eight enemies. Ivy is one of the bigger Fire Teams. If I go down listen to your second in command Angel" Zak said and swung around the corner gun ready.
Zak took a deep breath and took of running to the next piece of cover. Taking out his DMR but keeping his battle rifle ready at his side. With promethean vision he looked at the closest soldier.
Spartan 621 or James Kelly he looked through the data files "oh my god.... Eclipse watch out for Spartan 621 last time in training he knocked someone out and kept beating him up resulting in the death of another Spartan." He said and scoped "alright Eclipse fire when I fire"
He drew his finger to the trigger and shot. And then all hell broke loose.

Meadow followed her commanding officer and other teammates in. When She heard about the other team's bruiser, she grinned and charged forward. Ducking behind cover, she slowly moved forward until she saw Spartan 621 she fired him. A bullet just grazed her shoulder and she was forced to hide behind a corner, opening up her comm she reported, "careful, I think I just found a sniper looking at my position".

She crouched down and looked out of her corner to see the flash of a visor on top of a building, hiding back into cover when the person on the building fired again at her, "yep, definitely a sniper".

"Got it" Zak yelled swing the DMR around.
He looked through the scope targeting the Snipers head and smiled. He pulled the trigger and a bullet shot out of the barrel and in a flash it hit the sniper right where his left eye would be.
The sniper toppled of his perch falling to the ground. he would have died had it not been for her Armour.
" alright Meadow your Clear go for the Bruiser.. wait i cant see him anymore" he ducked behind cover he looked back the way he came and saw the air shimmer in front of him. Then it struck him the Bruisers ability was active camouflage. "oh crap" he said through the com.
Zak rolled back just in time to avoid being to avoid being crushed the butt of the gun. Zak took off running "someone get eyes on this guy" he said. Suddenly Zak stood to the side holding his foot up and sending him sprawling "never mind" Zak grunted and shot him.

"On my way, sir. Try to back out of you can, I'll deal with him if you wish," Meadow moved back around from where she came, switching her combat rifle out for her gravity hammer. She skidded around the corner that led to the stretch where Zak and the other Spartan were, "permission to engage"?

The gravity hammer crackled to life as the large woman tightened her grip on it, the sound loud and distinguishable. Blue lights flared through the weapon and for a breif moment she made eye contact with the active camoed Spartan. She spun the hammer with practiced ease and started forward, holding herself tall to look even bigger.

"PERMISSION GRANTED" he said and took a step back as the Spartan tried to get up
he then looked back "okay two down Dillon see that one on your left take him out Angel you finished setting the traps?" Zak asked
He then ran on to the next cover un holstering his battle rifle.

Meadow charged the enemy Spartan, slamming her hammer into the ground forcing the enemy to leap back or risk getting caught in it's feild. His active camou fell when he started to fire at her but she blocked it by pulling up her sheild. She grinned underneath her helmet and continued to move forward, when he went to reload she dropped her ability and slammed her hammer into his side making him fly into a wall. She marched after him with the same proud stance, "do you enjoy hurting those you feel are weaker then you? I heard about you profile, I think you do"!

She then slammed the hammer down towards him but he dodged and started to fire once again. She let a grunt of discomfort and threw up her sheild again to start her chase after him.

Zak tore after a target who was not looking.
'I may not be the strongest Spartan but I am fast' he thought to himself
He took out his standard issue combat knife and sliced through the wires that showed the layout.
Then when he was sure the Spartan didn't see the layout he grabbed the Spartan and threw him to the ground he dropped a few elbow shots and knocked the Spartan out.
"Alright team that's three down if Meadow takes out the Bruiser. Dillon and Angel keep checking that you don't get shot I would really appreciate it" Zak said.
He looked up and saw an energy Sword in the corner he went for it and stashed it for later.
'When I get the chance I have to ask someone to design a banner for our Squad' he thought to himself

Meadow and the other team's bruiser continued their little dance, at some point losing their weapon and now brawling. The taller woman was was pushed into her back and as the other Spartan went to finish his work, she placed her foot on his chest and leapt back up. Charging she grabbed him by the waist and threw him over her head, effectively knocking the guy out. She picked up her discarded weapons and ammunition, rearming herself with her combat rifle and moving to a move covered position, "another down".

"One shot" Dillon stated over the radio aiming at an enemy solder and fired hitting square on the spot wear the ear would be if the helmets weren't there "One kill" he smiled at this. He stood up and moved to a different location hoping not be tracked. As he settled on a new spot higher than where he was before "how many left are there anyway I haven't been keeping track" he asked not knowing where his team was at all "uh we got someone with what appears a big gun and I mean a big, gun." He shifted realizing that the person was aiming at him making him started running across the building. At least until he slipped off the roof plummeting to the ground hitting the ground hard "Still up no panic lets get this over with."

"Two, two left, "Meadow answered using the trail of the rocket to find it's sender. She raised her gun to fire as he was reloading and fired, moving out of her cover so that she could gain a better shot. There was a warning from her helmet and she fell to her knees, another Spartan stood behind her and had shot her in the back of the neck.

Dillon stood up knowing his team mate was hit he started making his way over to the final transmission area of Meadow. As he made his way over he saw the an enemy so he pulled out his Magnum and hit him in the neck "Man I'm going get some coffee after this" he got to his teammate "Well I'm to." His sentence cut midway through the side of his neck was hit from at least a distance of 15 meters away and 5 meters up. He fell to the ground as he said "Your joking, right."

Meadow laid facedown, body stunned by the specialized bullets they were using as to not cause to much harm. She huffed as she tried to move but none of her body worked with her. The large woman letting out a breathy laugh when she saw her teammate fall out of the corner of her eyes, "well it's nice to know I'm not going to be laying here by myself".

Zak noticed his fallen comrades and sighed. "Guys we have to win or we don't get AI" Zak said
He looked back and saw the Spartan that Shot Meadow. Zak gripped his knife running in 'wait for it' he said to himself and released a Spartan charge knocking the Spartan down.
He picked up the soldiers Magnum and shot him right in the head.
"Two left" Zak said he picked his DMR back up and swung it around looking for a target he caught sight of the one that shot Dillon he pulled the trigger
Once.
Twice.
Thrice.
All shots connected and knocked the man out. Zak quickly thrust an elbow back hitting a Spartan square in the face he grabbed a knife and hit him right in the forehead then shot him.
Zak sighed with relief that they had won and fell to his knees
"Well done to Fire Team Eclipse you will be receiving AI at noon" the female voice echoed Zak got found the energy sword he stashed earlier and wondered when Meadow and Dillon would wake up.

Slowly Meadow's body started to wake up now that the training session was finished. She picked herself and rubbed the back of her neck, the spot where she had been hit still sore. She shook her shoulders and walked over to Dillion, pushing his side with her foot, "you ok bud? Did you get hit a little to hard"?

She then stood to her full height to look around the area, she spotted Zak and waved to him before going through her armor to make sure everything was working properly.

Zak waved back
"we will get our AI later" he whooped
He hid the the energy sword behind his back
'this is my backup weapon' he thought to himself and grinned

"Let's just say" Dillon began standing "It's hard not to feel sore when you fall from 30 meters and then get shot at" he proclaimed as walked away from the spot he was on ground "Also close combat not my thing" he added as he picked up his Magnum continuing to the exit. As he got to the exit a thought came to him the other two didn't do anything at least of what I saw. The sound of having an AI made him grin under his mask as he exited the training room. He stopped to wait for his team after all if he's on a team he might as well get to know them.

Meadow grabbed her weapons, her gravity hammer attached to her back. She walked out of the room and smirked under her helmet when she saw Spartan 621 limp out of the room with his team. She reached up her hammer and powered it up, the other Spartan jumping at the sound, "what's wrong tough guy? Did I scare you"?

The man huffed and marched away towards his team as Meadow laughed after him. Once she had calmed down she leaned against the wall and waited for the rest of her team, playing with her melee weapon.

He knew nothing about who would be assigned to the team, so he couldn't look up their ID's. *Guess I'm going in to this blind, eh? Should be fun.* He thought to himself. At least Eclipse could fight, that was for sure.

Meadow spun her gravity hammer around a bit, smiling at the feeling of it. She then placed it back in its holder and looked towards her teammates. Falling back into a relaxed state, she accepted some of the congratulations from passing workers and other friendly Spartans, "other than getting knocked down I have to say that was a pretty good match and we are getting AIs. Sounds pretty cool".

*Well, might as well meet the my teammates now, I guess.* Caleb thought, as he moved down to where the Fireteam was. He had enough time to match their names with their armor and faces, so he knew enough for now. The first one he saw he recognized as Meadow. "Meadow-922, correct?" Caleb would ask, his helmet under his right arm, making his heterochromatic eyes clearly visible. He'd outstretch his hand, motioning for a handshake. "I'm Caleb-B818, and I was told I'm being assigned to Fireteam Eclipse."

"No need for formalities," Meadow smiled underneath her helmet and took the man's hand. She placed the other on her hip as she turned to fully face her squad member, "you just missed a great fight. It would have been an honor to fight along side you and see how well our team works together. Nice armour, not to shabby lookin".

She then released his hand and put it one her waist, scanning over her newly introduced teammate. She looked back at the training floor and sighed, "I guess we'll have to see what you can do later. Hey, heave you heard we are gettin AIs? What do you think their going to be like"?
