A brand new event for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y has been revealed today thanks to UK retailer GAME. The event is giving players to get their hands on a Charizard holding either a Charizardite Y stone or a Charizardite X stone, depending on which copy of the game the Pokémon is being sent to.

The Charizard can be downloaded either through the Nintendo Zone while in a GAME store, or you can get a serial code from a member of stuff which can then be input into your game. The event runs from the 11th of July until the 10th of August, so grab Charizard while you can!

this is good and bad cuz you have a free mega charizard BUT if everyone else has one to then comppettitive is gonna get harder and easier

Does this mean the Mega Stone received will be the opposite one for the game it is being sent to(Charizardite X being sent to Y Version, for example), or will it be the same Mega Stone as the version(Ex: Charizardite Y being sent to Y Version)?

Yeah, you'll get the opposite stone to what you'd normally get. So X will get the Y stone and Y will get the X stone :)

Where is the GAME store it mentions? Or can i get it at Gamestop?
This event is exclusive (for now) to the UK - GAME is a game store in the United Kingdom. I suspect it'll come to America at some point, but it's not confirmed at time of writing :)
