When making your trainer cards, they show 3 boxes where you are to input your friend code

I notice some users have it under their avatar, but I dont

Do you have to reach a certain rank to be able to see or know what your friend code is?

Friend Codes are obtained through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and are used to communicate between DSes over the internet. It's something like a phone number, or an e-mail address. Actually, it's more like an IP address, but the previous analogy still holds true. We don't hand out Friend Codes here. You're supposed to input yours as a reference for others to use.

Karnezar, you just need to head into your profile editing options and input them there. Just select the "profile" tag at the top of the forums, click the "Forum Profile Information" link, and scroll down until you find the Friend ID fields.

And that's all it takes :)
