Chaos laughed, blowing away on the invisible breeze, moving and reforming next to storm, now wearing 3-D glasses “For show? I’m afraid you can’t be further from the truth, I do this because I’m Chaos! It’s like batting an eye, flicking a tail, coughing, or an involuntary chuckle or giggle, do you do those for show? No, you do them because that’s what you do, it’s wired into you, it’s the same for me”

Star narrowed her eyes before glancing at Sky. "Then stay away from Sky. She cannot recover as quickly as the rest of us. If those loud noises couldn't be controlled as you said, then it would be best if you stayed away from her." Star glanced back at Sky, who had lowered herself to the ground, Sol saying this argument wasn't her fault. Star winced as she realized her tone was that of pure anger.

Flarea glanced at the cats and gave them a curious look. "Wonder what they're getting all loud about?" She said while she laid down next to Life.

Chaos laughed, a paw on their forehead “Telling a fundamental off? Really putting it all on the line! If this was Harmony, she’d be flipping her lid!” The top of their head jumped up, flipping around and landing back on their head (The inside was solid orange) “Though luckily for you it’s easy going me, and if you really don’t want me, I guess this is not the place for me for now” they blew away in the invisible, leaving a pair of glasses behind.

Life sighed “Chaos being Chaos, and how lucky they are that’s its them, or else they’d probably be in hot water, he’s really easy going when it comes to people yelling at him, especially when they don’t know him”

Star sighed and laid down next to Sky and helped Sol comfort her. She had a feeling that she probably shouldn't use that sort of tone with Chaos or his fellow fundamentals again. With how he worded it, Star had a feeling using that tone usually meant some sort of harsh punishment. Something she didn't want to deal with. She made a mental note to find him later and apologize. She snapped out of her train of thought as she noticed Storm walking away. Fear for him gripped her. Knowing him, he was probably going to find Chaos, something that she found slightly frivolous.

Flarea nodded as she closed her eyes. "How difficult is it to anger Chaos?"

Life waved their hand “Depends on how you go about it, if you just yell at him, he’ll just laugh you off, only making you more angry, if you were to insult chaos or take extreme actions against it, he would start to get mad”

Flarea nodded. "How close were they to insulting chaos? They seemed pretty close to me." Flarea looked at Life and gave a small rumble in her throat as she rubbed against Life. It was a sign of friendliness to dragons, and one of respect. Even if it appeared different to other creatures.

Storm looked for Chaos.

Life reached over and rubbed the dragon, sinking past the scales and rubbing the skin “I was not listening much, but probably not that close if he was still only laughing”

Orange mist swirled around him as he could hear a laugh come from every direction, the mist forming into a wet wolf a good few feet in front of him “I like you storm”

Flarea nodded as closed her eyes. "I hope the cats stay out of trouble though. I don't want anything bad happening to them." She flicked her tail as she started to look at the cats.

When Storm first heard Chaos laughing, he jumped back, his pelt grey sparking with electricity out of instinct. When he saw the wet wolf, his pelt stopped sparking and he gave the wolf a curious look. "What do you mean you like me? I mean, I was with Star and she shouted at you." He chuckled. "Though, I wasn't the one shouting at you." Storm sat down, his tail wrapping to his paws as it lazily flicked up and down.

Chaos laughed “Your spontaneous, many don’t understand, but that’s the spice of Life! Without me Life would be meaningless, everything would be the same with nothing to explore and learn”

Life nodded

Storm nodded as he got back up to his paws. "So, you like me because I prefer to think on my feet?" He thought for a second as his tail flicked. "Though my tribe is known for thinking on the fly, due to our nomadic nature and the need to follow the storms. It sort of is a big deal for the Electricfurs. As is purposefully getting struck with lightning." He chuckled a bit. "I mean, it doesn't really hurt us that much."

Chaos chuckled "People can be so serious, so boring" Chaos yawned "Though others understand that without spontaneousy, life becomes dull and worthless" The water floated off of them and evaperated "And lightning is such a great example, if a bit mundane, cascading down in a beautiful pattern for a short while"

Storm sighed as he thought Chaos was speaking about Star. "You can't really blame her though. I mean, she lost Night and she's a bit over protective of Sky." He frowned. "Though, she could loosen up some. I mean, it isn't that hard to have fun every once in a while." Storm tried to imagine Star being much more loose, but he failed to do so. He looked back up at Chaos and purred. "So, what's interesting about my current group? Well, what you find interesting. There is no real right answer, except for the obvious for all groups kind of stuff." He chuckled a bit.

Stella trotted over to Eli and jumped onto his lap so then she didn't have to strain her neck as much if she was going to talk to him. "Hello!" She looked over at Chaos. "Glistening stars! Who is that? Why is he orange? I've never heard of a orange wolf before. Or, well, a wolf that is that bright of an orange anyway. Why is he talking to the Electricfur? When did he join this merry crew?" Stella asked without a breath. After getting in a breath and looking around, she looked back up at Eli. "Where's Swiftbrush?"

Eli raised a brow "Thats Chaos, they are orange because they are Chaos" Eli tapped a button, and a map of the ship, a red dot in the kitchen "Hes in the kitchen, probably raiding it"

Chaos laughed "Its all over the place! Cats, Wolfs, Humans, Dragons, even Life is here! Misadventures and Chaos galore!"

Stella's eyes grew wide when she heard the fundamental's name. "Wait! Chaos? As in the Chaos? As in the fundamental?!" Without waiting for an answer, she rose up into the air. "Should I ask him questions? Or is that rude? Can I even present myself like this?!" She looked down at her pelt and started to clean it some before something else crossed her mind. "Wait! Swiftbrush!" She smiled at Eli and flicked her tail. "Sorry about that. Better find that silly kitten! Thanks. Oh, and I still have multiple questions for you." She bounded off to find the kitchen and looked for Swiftbrush once she found it.

Storm smiled. "Rabbits sure would make things even more chaotic. At least I think so. In Electricfur mythology, rabbits were beasts of chaos. I don't know why though." He thought for a second as he sat down. "Or were the beast of chaos were coyotes and rocs were their allies."

The grey kitten was curled up inside a cabinet. His head was rested on his forepaws, and his tail drooped, only twitching listlessly upon occasion. His wings were tucked up tightly, and he almost looked like he was sleeping, except that his eyes were partway open. His fur wasn't very well groomed; in fact, it was rather dusty. He still looked just as thin as when he first saw the ship, but there wasn't any energy or excitement in his wiry frame anymore.

When Stella found Swiftbrush, she laid down beside him and gave him several licks to groom the kitten. "I'm so sorry Swiftbrush," she said in between licks, "I was so focused on something else." After a bit, she coughed on the dust that covered the kitten. From within the confines of her mind, she yelled at herself. She was such an awful friend and caretaker! Star would've never allowed this to happen if she was watching over Swiftbrush. Outwardly, she didn't show this though. She didn't want to worry the kitten. He seemed to have been through a lot.

Swiftbrush didn't seem to notice her until he felt her lie down next to him and begin to groom him. His eyes opened fully and he turned his head to look at her. He gave a small mew, a sound that couldn't be identified as any word but just a sound, expressing his unhappiness. While he did enjoy Stella's presence, and the grooming felt very good, he had been lonely and bored for a long time. And most of all, he had been homesick. He didn't want to be on this strange ship anymore. He wanted to be home, where he could stalk on any small prey he found, and could wander anywhere he wished. Here he could only wander in circles, and after the first period of exploration, things had become increasingly dull for the kitten. Occasionally he had discovered something to catch his interest, but now he was done. He didn't like it any more.

Stella stood up and nudged Swiftbrush with her tail. "Hey," she said softly, "maybe you should talk to Eli. He knows a lot of things and I'm sure he'll tell you many fun things that he has done!" He eyes sparkled as she purred. She hoped that she could cheer up her young friend. She still felt terrible for forgetting about him. She looked back down at him and frowned before grooming him again, trying to force her to follow her to Eli. She then coughed again because of the dust.

Storm looked at Chaos with a bit of confusion until a strike of realization crossed his face. "Oh right! It was coyotes!" He looked up at Chaos with a slightly confused look. "And is there something wrong with children tales?" Storm really hoped that there were no problems. Besides, he didn't think there were any problems. Honestly, he thought that Chaos would like would like kitten tales. They didn't really conform to the rules of the land. To him they didn't, at least.

The wolf nodded as he tensed his muscles. "I believe so. I'm not exactly sure what I would do against a dragon though. I've never really encountered one before." He glanced at Eli. "What should I expect exactly?"

The kitten slowly stood up under Stella’s gentle nudging. He looked a bit happier at the prospect of a story, although he still didn’t care for Eli. That first meeting still rankled at times. He shook his head and sneezed, for the amount of dust that had been stirred up beneath him when he Rose was surprising. He looked up at Stella. He was grateful to her for showing such kindness to him when he felt so lonely, and he loved the feeling of her tongue running across his fur. It reminded him of something, but he could place it. He gave another quiet mew and stretched.

“All right, les go...”

Eli sighed "Shes a tough one, hard scales, sharp claws, flys, as of late has the powers of Life, Death, Undead, dimensional energy, temporal energy, and possibly more, though to our benefit, she has not learned them to a full extent"

Chaos chuckled "They are amusing, but you should not place your trust in them, especially as a false history"

Lykos nodded. "And her partner? The one she is working with to take these items?" Lykos repressed a growl as he felt his fur bristle. This was the one who knocked both him and Eve out. He also stressed her out greatly and he had hoped that her time with Chaos has calmed her down. Besides, it wasn't as if she was constantly stressed. He silently scolded himself as he brought himself back on topic. He had a feeling this other enemy was powerful if it had knocked him out of quickly. He only had a glimpse at this partner, but he already knew that it was probably going to be difficult to stop him along with the dragon.

Stella ushered Swiftbrush into the main room and led him over to Eli, a huge smile on her face. She noticed the wolf tease up a bit and looked at the kitten worriedly. She was a bit confused, but shook the thought from her head. "Eli, is there any stories you can tell Swiftbrush here?" She lowered herself and nuzzled the kitten. "I think he needs some form of entertainment. Places like this aren't that entertaining for kittens." She gave Eli a huge smile as she sat down in front of Eli, tail and wing around Swiftbrush.

Storm smiled. "True, but sometimes these stories have truth to them. And it's hard to find the history and stories due to the fact all of our history is spoken, not written." He chuckled a bit. "Oh, and I guess I should apologize for my friends."

Eli sighed "Kerco, the greatest thief in the multiverse, once you make a deal with him, you can expect the utmost loyalty from him, but the problem is who he his willing to make deals with, namely anyone, he manages to be on and off of everyone's hostility radars at all times"

Eli looked down at the cats, and rubbed his chin "I do believe I have something" he smiled, waving his hand slowly in the air to aid his story "In a land far from here, in another universe, in a small universe, on a humble planet, and in a small area of woods, lived four clans of cats, ones without wings or lightning or fire mind you, the thunderclan, the shadow clan, the riverclan, and the windclan"

Chaos gave a smile "I'm more laid back than my siblings, I did not take a huge amount of offence at that"

Evelin, her clothes done washing and drying and her shower completed, walked into the main room and looked around. She noticed that everyone seemed to be in groups and she suddenly felt like an outcast. Before Lykos could see her or smell her, she went off to talk to Muel once more. He was her friend, at least she was pretty sure he was. And while Lykos didn't like him, she was sure he was jealous of Muel. She sighed as she entered the room and gave the demon a wave.

Stella was interested. Extremely interested. Her ears were perked and her eyes sparkled. Cats without wings! How did they even survive? And why did thier groups have such wierd names? She didn't voice her questions though. No, she had to wait, she was pretty sure Eli would answer those questions.

Swiftbrush settled down under the protecting wing of Stella. While he didn’t really trust the human, he was slowly becoming inteigued by the story. Why, the notion of cats without wings! His nose tweaked slightly and his gaze locked onto the storyteller. He didn’t know at all how close his thoughts were to those of Stella.

Eli looked at the young cat "They had their traditions, some shared by all the clans, some only by the individual clans, I had had a most unfortunate accident, and was stuck there for a time, I was one of them, as in, a cat myself, changed by the whims of the multiverse"

Muel smiled at Evilin, raising a brow "You are back?"

Evelin shrugged. "Is there a problem with that?" She gave Muel a smile. "Besides, it isn't as if I'm needed right now." Probably not wanted either, she added in mentally. She sat down in her usual spot and looked at the demon. "So how did you even meet Eli? I mean, I doubt you two were born enemies." She chuckled. "That would be ridiculous and something out of a children's superhero cartoon." She rolled her eyes. "Like I said, something I doubt happened."

Stella help her position and looked even more interested. Curiosity gnawed at her, however she told her ever-growing hunger for answers that there would be some soon. She just had to be patient and listen. And listen carefully. He might leave out a detail, which is something the worst thing he could do. She hated missing details.

He smiled "It was not a glamorous meeting, not some grand scheme where one of us had built up a dramatic meeting, I had been apprehended by the local guards, and the warriors were called in to escort me a few universes over to a prison"

"Now, I was stuck there a while, oddly enough not because of a crash, though that's another story, anyways, I had been walking in the woods for a few minutes, understandably disoretated, when I was tackled, by what I later learned was a patrol, they were concerned I was from one of the other clans, I was escorted back to their base, they called it their camp, it was next to the river, now these cats had their fur brushed back, you see they swam a lot, I was there for three years, I was frustrated with my randevu obviously, but anyways, after explaining that I was not there to invade them, they kept me there for a week or two, asking the other clans if I was theirs, of course I was not, and in that time I learned a lot, boh from being told, and just listening due to just being cooped up in the same camp, now, at this point I asked if I could be a part of their community, they said no, I still brought it up while I was there, and eventually said if I could prove I was worth their time, I could stay, they did not yt know I did have plans to leave when I could, not because I didn't like them, they were really charming, more a duty thing. Anyways, at this point, I did not have a ton of experience as a cat, the exact amount I had been there, but I had been things semi-similar, so I was not a total novice, so I fought well enough for them to move me out, and I went hunting under close watch, I was much better at this, having a bit of knowledge over them, but that's not important"

Swiftbrush was certainly interested in the tale, although he had a little trouble understanding at times. He was only a kitten, after all. The whole story was something different, and it left him rather confused. The notion of cats that chose to swim was new to him, and even more disorienting was the idea that that Eli used to be a cat. The human looked nothing like any cat Swiftbrush had ever seen, and he didn’t understand the concepts of shape shifting or polymorphing, or anything that might let Eli take the shape of a cat.

Evelin nodded. "If you don't mind telling me, what did you do? I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be locked up for no reason." She gave him an inquiring look. She was honestly extremely interested. Besides, other than Lykros, Muel was her only friend on this ship. At least, that's what she thought. Eli was always busy spending time with the older members of the group or doing something else, much to her anger. Her attempt at a conversation with him was completely brushed to the side. She was ignored after their introduction to each other. Evelin hated being ignored.

Stella listened. Sure, she had questions, but she didn't voice them yet, just in case they would be answered later on in the story. That was how she worked, always ask the questions at the end. Due to her doing this since kittenhood, she could remember her questions while listening to the story. It was an amazing ability to have, especially for a Moonpaw like herself.

"Anyways, I became a part of there clan, called me Fusepaw at first, the paw being an apprentice name, I had figured out quickly my name was abnormal, so went by another one, I decided to not bring up my past, so I did not shatter their perceptions, not that they were completely wrong, but still, they weren't there yet. Anyways, I learned to fight from them, helped them with patrols and hunting, it did not take them long for them to give me the honor of a warrior name, something I chuckled at, imagine! The dimensional warrior being promoted to a cat warrior! So, I was named Fusescar, due to my odd scar, completely unique to me. I was trusted at this point and I made friends, got into fights, defended
the clan from other clans, did a good job to, I was never given the chance to become anything more, never asked why, never wanted it, and I would have understanded anyways, after all, even after all of it, I still was not born there."

Muel laughed "You having problems with the dear ol' captain? What did he do wrong this time?"

Evelin sighed. "You'll probably think it's petty. Most people do anyway." She looked to the side and pursed her lips. "I hate being ignored. And he ignored me for most of the time he has been awake." She rolled her eyes. "The only interaction I've had with him was a simple handshake and name exchange and him saying my artwork had to go once I was done with it. For the first one I tried to entice conversation, but he just ignored me! Now if he said 'oh I'm busy right now' or 'I need to take care of something, we can talk later' I wouldn't be mad! But he didn't." She gave an angry huff as her mind drifted to why she hated being ignored. She was pretty much used to it. A forgotten distaste for her brother reemerged as she thought.

"Anyways, after three years, I had started to doubt they were coming back for me, and my plan for that was to stay there, live a full feline life, fake my death, track down my friend, and strangle them for leaving me there. But, after three years, I felt that someone entered the universe, as Im the dimensional warrior, I went out to meet them, as I doubted they could find me, I told them to wait for a bit, going back, I explained myself to the whole clan, and said goodbye, a hard thing to do at that point, I went back once or twice to visit, say hi, maybe get in a skirmish or two, but like anything else, it did not last, by now, hundreds of generations have past"

Muel laughed "He never did play nice with others, old habits die hard I guess"

Stella' ears perked. Was the story over? She thought so. It was time for questions. "Why were they called those exact names, especially if they didn't have powers? Who were you closest to? How did they live without powers? Are the groups still around? Which group did you fight the most? What did you eat?" She was, as expected, very eager. In fact, she struggled to stay on the ground.

Eve looked at Muel. "What do you mean? Earlier you said he tries to gain people's trust." She shook her head. "I guess he's really a loner then. Can you tell me more about him?"

Eli waved his hand "You felines with powers are actually in the minority, if most cats heard you say that, they would scuff at you for saying that. They were more of a family after a while. I don't know, and a mostly the windclan, though it was a fairly peaceful time when I was there, not because of me, just happened to be."

Muel smiled "Hes been broken ever since he came from his ol' rinky dinky universe, kinda unstable to be honest"

Last edited:
Eve looked at Muel. "Broken? And unstable how?" A small trickle of fear of the warrior entered her. Unstable never ment anything good on her experience. Besides, why would she try to befriend someone unstable. Depending on how unstable they were would make them behave differently. For all she knew, he could be a sociopath in hiding. The mere thought made her shudder. They were worse than psychopaths, which were already pretty terrible.

Evelin gulped as she listened to Muel. "So he kills people if they accidentally set him off? Is he some sort of sociopath? He kinda sounds like one to be honest." If he was, well it was a mistake joining the ship. If he wasn't then it would still sorta be a mistake but not as terribly as if he were a sociopath. She thought for a second. "Why is he considered some sort of law abiding citizen then? You said he brought you to jail. He sounds like the complete opposite."

Evelin narrowed her eyes. "So no form of authority over him will stop him." She clenched a fist as her mind swirled with ideas to stop Eli's supposed tyranny. "Why do people follow him, especially all those on the ship. They can't be foolish enough to think he's innocent. Unless he lied to every single one of them. We have to stop him." She shook her head. "We cannot let him continue this."
