Private/Closed Eli in Dragnos

"You don't know that!" Shui shouted in response as she pointed at Muel. There was a small trickle of worry in her voice, however, it was not loud enough to hear. The blue sprite hid her fear with an angry look at the thought of him hurting their new allies. Flarea managed to let out a growl as she fought the urge to spit the fire out of her mouth.

Muel smiled and pulled out and pulled out a remote with a button labeled with the nuclear warning mark, Eli tensed up "I placed what is known as a nuclear bomb outside your city, if detonated, easily enough to decimate your city hundreds of times over" He pressed the button "I did the math, they have precisely the time and strength to carry it a safe distance from the city before it blows up"

Flarea and Shui did not know what a 'nuclear bomb' was, but by Eli's reaction, they deduced that it was not good. Muel's explanation reaffirmed that. "Um, isn't that overkill? Oh, wait, your not a good person. How could I forget?" Shui said, half-jokingly. Flarea snorted again, still having the ball of fire in her mouth.

A Fireclaw mother heard what the intruder said. She gasped in shock as her mind went whirling. Looking down at her kits, she felt an urge to stay but she was the fastest Fireclaw, last time she checked. She was nowhere as fast as a Windfeather, but she could deliver the message. She sighed as she stood up. Leaning down to gently lick her fluffy yellow tabby kitten, she said, "Go to Ash, momma will be back soon." Her kittens looked at her, fear clouding their eyes. Her heart lurched to see them like this, to abandon them for an alliance that would bring her kits nothing, to leave them during a scary time, to go away and leave her kits with somecat else. She pushed this out of her mind though, telling herself that she would come back, that she was just going to give a message. She flew out of the living tunnel towards the exit.

Flarea shot out her fire that she had been building up to that moment, making it more powerful. She aimed at Muel, after his sidestep. A deep growl rumbled in her throat as she lunged at Muel, claws outstretched. Shui looked for any way she could help by taking anything when he was not looking.

The mother cat left the cave. A brown she-cat with five kits, two her own and three belonging to the messager mother, called out. "Ember! Come back! Please!" Ember ignored her friend as she flew onward, the sun dancing on her yellow pelt. She needed to warn the Moonpaws.

A black and white tom with green eyes zipped around in the sky, looking for any signs of birds of prey. He was disappointed with his findings, but he knew that a mouse, while not as appetizing, still fed his tribe. Now he was close to the Fireclaw border. Most cats did not have borders, however, the Fireclaws were the exception. Moonpaws seemed to have borders, but theirs ended with the city, no room for hunting. He sighed as he flew just on the outside of the said border.

Flarea felt the air knock out of her as she was forced into the ground. She climbed back to her talons after a few seconds and snarled at Muel, letting out a high-pitched roar of warning to the creatures in the cavern. She wondered if they could decipher what her roar meant. She knew that she was unable to catch up to him, but maybe fire would work this time. She blew another breath of fire his way.

Ember found a black and white tom flying right outside of the Fireclaw's territory. "What are you doing here?" she asked.
The tom did not look at Ember, but sniffed the air and the look at the ground. "Flying about, hunting, you know stuff I need to do to survive."
Ember sighed at the dismissive tom. "Fine, who are you?"
"
My full name is Swiftwind, but I go by Swift. Why?"
Ember recognized the naming pattern of the Windfeathers right away. All of the hostility that she felt washed away at that moment and was replaced by a wave of relief."Oh my! Thank the ancestors!" Swift flinched slightly when she said that, reminding her that Windfeathers believe in a cat goddess or something along those lines."Ok, so the Moonpaws are in danger and you are fast enough to deliver this message. Something is right outside of the Moonpaws home, something that will destroy the entire city of Lunarstone!"
At first, Swift did not seem considered. Instead, there was a slight smile on his face until he heard the words 'destroy the entire city'. He was unsure of how big the city was, but he had heard stories of how great it is due to the fact it has stood there forever. He never went due to the fact WIndfeathers found the city of Lunarstone confining. But this was the ancient home of the Moonpaws and something that they would never leave, he had to get this cat's mind working again. "
What! By Felinia, somecat has to warn them! We might not be on the best of terms, but Windfeathers never allow cats to die!"
"Yes, and who is the faster one here? I mean, Windfeathers are Windfeathers for a reason." Ember smirked at her cleverness
Swift glared at Ember for a bit before giving in. "Fine," He closed his eyes in defeat, "I'll go. Only because you won't. Now go back to whatever you were doing, Fireclaw." He glared at her with his green eyes before he flew as fast as he could in the direction of Lunarstone. Ember flew back to the caverns.

Eli launched forward towards Muel, intending to strike, Muel wiped around and used his gun to repulse the fire, knocking it right into Elis face. turning back around he discovered a knife in his face, frozen in time "Stop Muel!" Lily started the man down with fiery determination

Flarea and Shui caught up to Eli and Muel. Flarea bared her teeth, giving a low growl. She gave a quick glance at Eli, feeling a bit guilty from it being her fire that was knocked into his face, before placing her full attention on Muel. Shui glared at Meul as well, crossing her arms at him.

Near the city, the black box suddenly showed a red number, 10:00, the number counting down, beeping with each digit

Eli rubbed his face, disoreted. Muel smiled at Lily "Or what? you let the dagger fly?" Lily grimaced and glanced at Eli, that's all he needed, spinning around the blade, shooting her at basically point black, Lily flying across the room, barely slowing herself down in time, the knife continued to fly after that and Muel sprinted into the chamber

Seeing Muel shoot one of his ‘allies’ Frostbite moved forward, appearing slow and clumsy. Even with the temperature-regulating disc it was uncomfortably warm, but he had a plan. He moved on a course to intercept Muel, and slashed with his barbed tail with a devastating quickness compared to his previous seeming slowness.

Swiftbrush mewed softly, wondering what was happening. Why was everything all shaky? What were those dragons and wierd two-legged creatures doing? The kitten sat near Stella and stared intently at the activities of the combatants.

Stella wrapped her tail around Swiftbrush protectively. Her green-blue eyes narrowed as her white ears flattened. A low hiss escaped her muzzle. She disliked the fighting that was going on, but she had to deal. She had to make sure Swiftbrush was safe.

Star glared at Muel and, against her better judgment, entered the fray. Her claws were unsheathed as she dodged Frostbite's tail and pounced at Muel's leg, attempting to scratch him. She did not want to reveal that she was a Deathborn to this unknowing enemy.

Yuro stood back, not wanting to hurt the others by accident. With so many attacking at once, he found no reason to risk the other's safety. He whimpered at the thought of them getting seriously injured to the point they might die. He closed his grey eyes to take his mind off of the fighting.

Storm growled as he followed Star into battle. Star was one of his best friends, he would follow her almost anywhere. Feeling the electricity crackle in his grey pelt, he concentrated the electricity into a single paw. One that he would attempt to scratch Muel with. Enough power to stun a cat about his size.

Flarea ran after Meul, trying not to cover the entrance and exit to the chamber, just in case he wanted to retreat. She bared her teeth and growled. SHe did not want to risk hurting her teammates again, so she was hesitant to enter the battle along with everyone else.

Inferno ordered the Fireclaws to attack, which they did. Flaming cats flew above, attempting at claw Muel with blazing claws. Each one of them hissed at the intruder. Inferno was lost withing this swarm of cats.

Shui dodged the knife and looked between Eli and Lily. "Um, you two alright?" She bit her lip and flew back and forth, making it about a quarter way to one before turning around and going to the other in the same distance.

A dark-grey she-cat flew to the castle with the news of the box's beeping. She reported that it made the noise every tail-flick, the equivalent of a second with cats.

Swift made it to the city, and the Moonpaws were not happy about it. He had to dodge the Moonpaw and Bloodfang Skycats as he tried to find the castle.

Muel gave a small wince as the cats scratched and electrocuted him, but had his sights set on frostbites tail, smiling and doing a sudden barrel roll, he stole the tail momentum, flying almost to his destination. pulling out a sonic bomb and throwing it back, landing and covering his ears.

Lily brushed herself of and nodded. Eli nodded "Yeah" he saw Muel maneuver "Cover your ears!" he slammed his hands on his ears barely in time for the sonic waves to pass over him, witch was powerful enough to send sizable rocks flying

Frostbite fell. Violent noise rung in his ears and he completely lost control, crashing down on a ledge of rock and staying there. His tail seemed to be twitching, but that was the only sign he showed of still being alive.

***************

Swiftbrush yowled in pain and tried to cover his sensitive ears. He buried his face in the ground, pushing at his ears, trying to make this stop.

All of the Fireclaws were thrown back due to the sonic bomb. Some were rammed into each other, others were thrown against the walls of the cavern. One Fireclaw got it worse than the others though. Inferno was thrown against the wall and fell unconscious. Abiding to gravity's pull, he fell onto a stalagmite, which impaled the hotheaded tom. Blood covered the top of the pointed rock and t trickled down to the cavern floor.

Stella did not flatten her ears enough in time, and covering them was almost impossible. She tried to comfort Swiftbrush, but she could not hear her words. All she heard was a constant ringing.

Star flattened her ears and stared at Meul, using her telekinesis. Hers was much stronger than the typical Moonpaw telekinesis, due to the Deathborn boost. She tried to hold him in place, although if she had to focus on one spot, she would focus on the arms.

Shui, Flarea, Yuro, and Storm cover their ears.

A white tom sat in front of a book in Lunarstone. His eyes flicked around the room before he turned the page with telekinesis. Then he continued to read the book in the old tongue. He sighed as a black she-cat entered. "Kyaal, you should be heading to Queen Nova's palace right now. Your report is due."
Kyaal whipped around, his piercing yellow eyes glared at her. "I will be there soon! I still have work to finish and one last line to write! Besides, I cannot have Stella's report be better than mine."
The she-cat nodded and left. Kyaal pawed the padge of the book he was reading. "Soon, soon. Soon they will know what I am planing."

Swift found the palace and dove inside. The guards chased after him as he looked for a royal-looking cat. "Where is she!?"
"Where is who?" a female voice asked.
Swift spun around and saw a gray she-cat. "Um, Queen Nova." He gave a nervous look behind him before he looked back at the she-cat.
The grey cat twitched her whiskers with amusement. "You are talking to her."
Swift's jaw hung open for a few moments before he explained the danger that the city was in. The queen's expression changed from a slightly amused face with a small trace of worry to one that showed the direness of the situation. She sighed before asking for her ancestors to protect her, making Swift flinch at the fact she disregarded Felinia.

Muel came to a grinding halt as his arms were held in place, he dropped the rod and grabbed it with his feet, swinging and spearing the the rod to the spot spot with his feet. Eli got up, but saw it was to late, he growled "Keep him there" he raced to the Impaled cat, biting his lips, and pressing his ear "Send a squadron of meds" he got back up and helped Lily up

Now that the ringing noise had died down some, Swiftbrush was able to uncover his ears. The kitten nuzzled closer to Stella, still in some pain, but feeling better. His whiskers twitched slightly and his tail lashed as he tried to figure out what had made that horrible noise. His Bloodfang fighting instinct was kicking up.

Stella, still hearing the ringing, nuzzled Swiftbrush. "It is ok. I am sure everything is fine," she said loud enough to where it sounded like a whisper to her, however, she was almost yelling.

Inferno was dead. There was no doubt about it. His eyes were wide and cloudy, giving an unblinking stare into nothingness, and his body was limp. Not to mention the blood trickling out of his mouth. He did not survive the fall onto the rock. Besides, even if he did, he would be crippled beyond what his tribe deemed livable.

Star held Muel in place, not wanting him to get away. The fact he outsmarted her upset her, but she did not allow that to upstand her powers. She was in control, she told herself, she would not allow him to escape.

With a bag containing his report, Kyaal flew to the palace, going as fast as he could. He reached the castle and landed. Knowing where the Queen would be at that moment, he went through a couple of corridors that gave way to the throne room with the least amount of time. "Your majesty, I think I have a way to make the shield last longer. If you just look at these," He pulled out a few papers out of his bag with his claws and tried to hand them over to Queen Nova before she picked them up with her telekinesis.
The queen skimmed over the documents before saying, "No, that is my final answer. No trying to convince me either. It is just too risky."
Kyaal glared at the queen, flattened his ears, and flicked his tail with anger before turning his head away. Queen Nova left, ordering that the shield be placed up soon. Upon hearing this, Kyaal raised his ears again and grinned. "Sorry, your majesty, but I do not take no for an answer," he murmured. The white tom quickly flew to his home and wrote a letter.

Eli pointed at inferno and Lily nodded, walking over and placing him in a temporal stasis. Muel looked around, not seeming all to intensely worried. Eli walked up to his adversary and looked him in the eyes "It hardly matters that you planted that, we got you" Muel laughed, starting to strain against his hold "Is that so?"

Star struggled to keep hold of Muel. She narrowed her eyes, flattened her ears, and gritted her teeth. The silver she-cat shook as she fought to keep Muel in place. (OOC: I'll let you break the hold, Eli)
BIC:
Inferno laid there, still dead. Not moving, not giving any sign of life. He was already gone, his soul passed to the afterlife already. It was impossible for the hotheaded tom to return to the mortal plane now.

Lily sighed and shook her head at Eli. Eli got the message, but was preoccupied by Muel. Muel grinned as he suddenly broke free and punched Eli in the jaw, knocking him down and dazing him, Muel reached down and snatched something out of his jacket before running for the exit

Pain shot through Star's head as she gave a yelp. She lowered her head to the ground, gritted her teeth, and breathed heavily as she shook with the pain from her head. Her claws flexed outwards as she turned around and glared at Muel. She could not let the pain bother her as he was making an escape with a stolen object. She quickly grabbed hold of the object with her mind and pulled suddenly at it, trying to catch him off guard.

Flarea and Yuro stood in front of the exit, wings slightly raised so then he would not use them as a minor obstacle. Both of them red their teeth in unison, giving threatening growls.

Shui rushed over to Eli. "You good?" Her face showed just how worried she was. The situation gave no time for laughs, stressing the sprite out even more. Her own humor kept her sane sometimes. She looked around and saw Inferno, dead. "Well, I guess it had to happen at some point." Although she seemed dismissive of the fact Inferno was dead, merely shrugging with her body language, her voice was shaky.

Eli shook his head and groaned and got up "Yeah" Muel growled and was slowed down a bit, but due to his strength and the nature of the item, he was able to keep going pretty easily, making it to the tunnel and blasting the two with his gun. Eli got out of his daze, retrieved his sword and began to run across the tunnel

Flarea and Yuro fell onto the warm, hard ground. They both tried to get up, but their energy was gone, their fighting spirit at rest. The two laid there, recovering from the stressful situation and Flarea recovering her energy from all of that running and fighting.

Star had another blast of pain go through her head. But she could not allow the intruder to get away that easily. This time, she would not hold him in place, but find out what he was planing with the unknown object. She tried to enter his subconscious, the easiest part of the mind to enter. Most do not even protect this part of the mind, focusing more on the memories and the conscious.

Muel ran out the tunnel, but a single image escaped his mind as someone looked in, a terrifyingly black portal, and a barren wasteland beyond it, dead trees, dry ground, mountains devoid of life. Eli raced up the tunnel, scowling when he discovered when it was to late, he walked back and looked at the fallen dragons "We need to go, how long do you need to rest?"

The box countdown hit 1:00 and began to make a loud noise, easily hearable for a good few blocks

Star screamed as she quickly vacated Muel's mind. She stared at the ground and her paws as she just sat there, shaking. Her breathing was heavy as she muttered things to herself. Both Storm and Stella looked at her with worry, but neither one stepped up to comfort her.

Flarea shook her head. "I guess a few minutes, maybe less, for me at least." She stared at the silver she-cat when she (Star) screamed. She seemed to be in distress, but the red dragoness did not know how to help.

Yuro nodded at Flarea's statement as his tail flicked side to side.

Shui was unsure of how to react to the sudden scream from Star, so she flinched from the loud noise and looked at her with worry.

The shield went up around the city, however, it was heavily weakened. Kyaal knew this, and he knew he could strengthen it. However, it would require a sacrifice from him. He did not know the price, but he was willing to pay it.

Star, eyes still wide with fear, shook her head. "N-nothing. Just looked somewhere where I shouldn't have looked at." She gave a nervous chuckle as she tried to calm herself. She did not want to look back at the picture she saw while she was snooping in Muel's mind. All the creatures with strong noses could smell her fear.

Shui flew next to Flarea and sat next to her. The blue sprite petted the red dragoness as she looked around the cavern.

Storm edged closer to Star as he saw her distress. He could not stand seeing her like this. She did not deserve this sort of fear, she did not deserve more fear than what she already had. He sighed as he looked away from her with sad eyes.

Kyaal stood on top of a building, chanting ancient words as he was preparing to strengthen the shield. He knew that it would be a close call and that it might fail, but he was willing to risk that at a chance that they could save the city. A beam of whiteish light went from the middle of his body to the top of the dome. He felt some of his energy drain from this beam, but he kept going.

The Fireclaws edged closer to Inferno's body as they mourned for the hotheaded Skycat's death. Two were trying to remove his body from the stalagmite and move it to a rock nearby.

Eli looked at Star "Well, anything could help" he turned around and sat down himself, starting a search n his jacket, taking inventory of what he had. Lily glanced at the dragons "I'm starting to worry if we can beat Muel, I guess he'll be stopped by that barrier on the forest though"

15....14.....13.....12....11....10

Star started to pace since she could not get the image out of her mind now that she saw it. She shook her head and muttered things to herself. Storm watched her with concern as he padded up to her. "Clearly it's not nothing. Why else would you be fretting over it?
Star shook her head. "No, no, nothing that I need to worry everycat about. I mean, I'm not even sure if it was a memory or a plan. Ha, I kinda need to know that before I start blabbering about something I don't understand."
Storm glared at her as he walked away. He knew she needed to speak, she obviously could not stop thinking about it, much to her harm.

Kyaal gave up more energy as the beam grew brighter. The shield was much stronger now, restoring it to what it was years ago. But it could be even stronger. Able to hold up for longer amounts of time, and still hold every danger off. He could make the shield the strongest it has ever been.

Star sat down and stared at Eli, her eyes widened with her fear, her head shaking as she spoke. "I saw this black thing with a hole through it. Beyond it was, well, a barren waste. Everything was dead and well, nothing moved. It was like, I dunno what it was like. I cannot place my paw on it." Her stomach twisted when she admitted that she did not understand the thought that was left inside of the subconscious. "The subconscious is supposed to be one of the safer places, but I almost got lost with that image. I am not searching through his mind again!"

Kyaal gave up more energy, this time it fed a little on his life. He could not stop now, however. Once you get this far, you stuck with it. His life belonged to the shield now.

Swiftbrush was still sitting next to Stella. He had noticed everyone seemed to be getting up, except one of the Fireclaws and one of the dragons. He looked up at Stella, wondering what they were doing.

Frostbite twitched slightly, his tail moving around but none of the rest of him. His eyes were closed, and he couldn’t bring himself to open them.

Eli frowned and looked at a specific part of his jacket, his eyes dilating to the point of pinpricks, shooting to his feet he looked at Lily "He took my reality battery" Lily looked shocked and scared. Eli glared around "We leave now"

3....2....1....0 the bomb blew up, instantly vaporizing the ground around it engulfing the shield in a matter of seconds

Star looked around her. "I'm not going without Sky. She is one of my closest friends. She is coming or I am staying. And if I am staying then Storm is staying, right Storm?"
Storm sighed and rolled his eyes. Star's fear was starting to dissipate, but that was the worst part of her fear prosses. Now she was super demanding. "Whatever you say Star."
She nodded as if he confirmed what she said was true.

Stella looked at Swiftbrush. She had a sad look in her eye as she noticed that he was looking at Inferno and the dragon. She knew one was dead, but the other was a mystery for her.

Flarea groaned as she got up, clearly exhausted. She looked like she could collapse at any moment. She was not used to running through halls to fight. Instead, she fought in the air, which wasted less energy for her.

Shui hugged the red dragoness, trying to show that she would not waste her energy.

Yuro stood up as well. He seemed to be ready to go. Although his wing was slightly injured. Though it was not broken, it was painful to flap it due to him falling on it the wrong way.

Kyaal gave up everything and now was a corpse on top of a roof. The shield kept the city safe with no effort. It did not even falter a bit due to the power charge that Kyaal gave.

Eli taped his ear "Land outside the tunnel, no time to waste" he began to walk up the tunnel "Either your coming or not, decide quickly because we have little time left"

The bomb had made a colossal crater around the city, leaving behind a lot of radiation, enough to promise death in seconds in some places

"Give us time to bring our friend. We will not be long. They are nearby. He can help us bring her here."Star said, fear still lingering. However, she was nearly back to normal. She stared at Eli, saying that they would be back. Star and Storm flew off to get their friends. Storm gave a final look back as if to say, 'we'll come back soon'.

Flarea followed Eli, wobbling as she went. She gave a huge yawn as she walked. Yuro helped her stand, even though she did not need the help. Shui also flew right beside her.

Stella urged Swiftbrush up as she followed everyone else. She glanced back at Frostbite. "What about this dragon that is just laying here?" she asked worriedly.

Swiftbrush needed no urging to get up. He was already a bit fidgety, and he gladly stood beside Stella. He glanced at Frostbite again as Stella pointed him out. The dragon was moving slightly, but only his lungs and his tail. Luckily for Frostbite he had not broken the Thermal Regulator when he crash-landed.

Frostbite didn’t give any reaction at all. He just laid on his side, eyes shut tightly, breathing but no other sign of movement. In his subconscious he heard her, but he felt sluggish and there was a dull throb on his right side.

Swiftbrush saw a small chip of rock lying loose on the floor and began batting at it with his small paws.
