what do you think the easiest earthbound game is? and i bet half of you don't even play earthbound do you? i think mother was the easiest simply because you get the first melody so soon. mother3 was probably the hardest because (not to spoil or anything) against the final boss, you can't attack all you can do is defend and heal. also the masked man usually can go twice each turn.
