I'm still sorta new to the show so there's a lot I'm going to have to catch up on... but I can do research if there's terms or stuff I need to look up.

Morphed Demon
Name: Ren Arasaka
Personality: friendly, talkative, overconfident, unapologetic, respectful, and stoic.
Appearance: platinum blonde hair mostly combed back(shoulder length) with his bangs hanging messily above his eye brows, orange cat-like eyes, slightly tan skin 5'10 ft, 175 pounds, slightly muscular, scar on the right side of his jawline.
Outfit: Ren wears a dark green tunic, loose grey pants underneath, a red overcoat with various colores patches(several small yellow, orange, red patches ,and one large purple patch over his right shoulder) ,and dark brown leather boots with buckle straps.
Blood Demon Art: blood of harrowing - the user can create a mist of blood that causes intense physical pain to those who come in contact as well as mental pain if they breath it in. If the victim suffers enough mental stress they can hallucinate.
Techniques: immense speed, reflexes, strength, and regeneration.
Other: - since he is a morphed demon lacking a blade there is no blade color to put in all caps...
- Ren doesn't need to eat humans as sleep would suffice.
- he is a very skilled tai chi practitioner
Backstory: Ren Arasaka lived in a small fishing village. He always heard stories about demons but that was just it. They were stories to scare children so they wouldn't get lost or run into strangers. That's what Ren believed until one night he realized he left his locket his father gave him by the docks. Ren knew he would be angry so he left that night to get it. After he retrieved his locket he was attacked. As he was attacked a demon slayer killed the demon but was too late for Ren. He was so scared by the fighting he ran to an abandoned building and hid on the second floor. After the demon slayer tracked him down he held his sword at him and as he did he dropped his locket revealing a picture of him and his family. Luckily for Ren the man had felt sorry for him and talked with him for a while. The two became friends and the next day Ren left a note to his family along with a wooden carving of a wolf he loved and always carried. After that day Ren lived in the woods where the demon slayer would occasionally visit him.

If they can't travel in the sunlight do they walk through the shadows or merely sleep during the day like vampires?
also what time is it currently in the RP? daytime? nighttime?

It’s night right now at the start of the final selection. They avoid daylight at any cost, even being near it is painful to them.

since there are only 6/8 demon slayers and i'm hoping to also post during daytime i'd figure I would also make a demon slayer.
Demon Slayer
Name: Dolan Larch
Age: 17
Personality: friendly, mild-mannered, polite, forgetful, and occasionally awkward.
Appearance: dull brown short hair combed to the right, cobalt blue eyes, horizontal scar across his nose, 5'7 ft., 155 pounds, muscular, small scars on his arms and torso. He we
Marking (Optional): four gold rings around his right forearm.
Bird: Screech owl
Weapon: Jian with a star shaped handguard and an orange tassel on the pommel.
Blade Color: GOLD WITH WAVE RIPPLES ALONG THE EDGES OF THE BLADE.
Special Ability (optional): As the user exhales he can increase fluid movements, accuracy, and calmness.
Breath Style: breath of gold (derived from breath of stone)
Techniques:
1st style: fading golden hands - he swings a feint to one side then in the last moment switches his attack to the other side.
2nd style: gold horizon - he swings his blade 540 degrees. a technique he uses when enemies attempt to flank him from the side or behind.
3rd style: golden touch - he sidesteps his opponent and thrusts his attack launching a distance attack which can also be used upclose to impale an opponent.
4th style: golden ring - he swings his sword in a circular motion which he often uses defensively to counter frontal strikes.
5th style: form of gold - his movements become more fluid agile and heightens his reflexes.
6th style: golden apple - he charges his attack launching distance attacks.
7th style: golden scorpion - he lunges towards his opponent then within the last second he sidesteps his opponent and swings his blade in an arcing motion hitting them in the back with an upward vertical thrust.
8th style: golden wind - He launches a barrage or waves of energy forwards.
9th style: gold rush - he swings a variety of techniques as he moves around his opponent effortlessly swinging attacks from all directions and angles seemingly randomly.
10th style: gold crown - he plunges downwards creating a ripple of energy that expands outwards in the shape of a crown which can also be used directly on opponents as opposed to simply hitting the ground
Other: Dolan is a skilled bagua practitioner which is why he incorporates a lot of circular movements in his style. He wears a gold haori with green and orange stars on it. (even when he's wearing his demon hunter uniform). His demon slayer uniform has orange trim.
Backstory: Dolan grew up in a farm town where his father was a blacksmith making mostly farm equipment for the local farming community ,but also made weapons too as occasionally someone would visit the town or a local resident would want something to help him feel safe out in the fields. There was also a bagua expert named Kishi who practiced all sorts of martial arts and even taught Dolan some here and there. One night one night when Dolan and his father were harvesting crops one afternoon he heard his sister had ran in the woods. A place that the elders of the village forbid anyone to go into as there were dangerous cliff sides, caves, dense trees, and all sorts of nasty creatures that roamed the place at night. Dolan ran into the woods to get his sister but before they could get home it became night fall and a chill ran up his spine as they left the forest a bone chilling voice came from behind them. A demon was right behind them however they were extremely lucky as the old bagua instructor in his youth was a demon slayer and had told them to run home. The old man wasn't in top shape anymore however. As the demon lunged towards the little girl Dolan pulled out his iron sword blocking the demons attack but knocking him down in the process ,but giving the old man an opportunity to give a killing blow to the demon. The old man scolded Dolan as they headed back to the village but asked Dolan if he had any plans on becoming a demon hunter. After a night of thinking the next day he accepted to his mothers slightly disappointing as she thought it would be too dangerous. His father and the old man convinced her to reluctantly let him go. After that day the kishi began teaching him far harder and agressive then he ever taught him before. striking him with a wooden stick when he made mistakes and giving him more drills to do when he did them right. Dolan grew tough in the time the old man taught him and learned to hone his breathing as well. he also sent Dolan out in the woods to retrieve various small flags where he would also have to avoid traps as well. Kishi finally believed he was ready for the Final selection.

Demon Slayer
Name: JC
Age: 18
Personality: She is a young lady that mostly keeps her distances towards others as she prefers to work alone. She is very stubborn as this can be a pain to handle sometimes when you try and ask help of her but if you can convince her well enough as to why you need her help then she will agree to it. Despite her stubbornness, she is gentle yet, strongwilled. She may look brave but only acts the part to hide her fear but plays this part very well. She has trust issues due to being badly hurt in the past which she avoids speaking about. If you can get as far to gain/earn her trust, she will protect you as if her life depends on it. She is a very understanding person and will not judge others no matter who they are. She has this strategic mind as she is will always find a way out of a situation quickly and efficiently.
Appearance: She is a light skinned young lady that stands at 5'3 in height with a well feminine build. She had dark brown long hair pulled up in a high ponytail with a bang covering her right eye. She has light blue eyes but her right one is almost blind(will explain in backstory) which her bang covers. She wears bandages around her wrists and ankles to hide her scars and glasses upon her face as she also wears a black and silver cross around her neck.
She wears a ninja outfit look to her with a black hooded cape and white wolf blue streaked mask to hide her appearance.

Her ninja clothing wear becomes a dark purple color with black streaks on each part of her clothing. Her black hooded cape remains black but adds light blue streaks behind it forming claws in the back which reach up to the neck of the cape. The wolf mask she wears remains white but has light blue and dark purple streaks as those streaks of purple form up to the front of her mask almost connecting.

Marking (Optional): A white wolf side her marking on the right side of her chest below her collar bone surrounded by an ice colored mist that travels up her neck stopping at just her cheek which gives a slight glow
Bird: Snowy Owl(Everest)(Female)
Weapon: Katana
Blade Color: PURE WHITE with LIGHT BLUE coloring the tip and the long edge of the blade all the way down.
Special Ability (optional): She is able to see the body temperature to detect which is a human and a demon through her blind eye which makes it easier for her to hunt down demons that seem to be a threat.
Breath Style: Breath of the Light
Techniques:
  • First style: Light Breaker: The users blade is cloaked in a glowing yellow light blinking simultaneously as the users blade is swing only once letting out a crescent shaped blade which breaks into multiple ones on the opponent
  • Second Style: Light Cross: The user closes in on the opponent and strikes down and across in a cross shape lighting motion
  • Third Style: Light Wing: The user flicks it's blade in an upward and downward motion like the wings of a bird before striking in a downward motion on the opponent forming wings in a radiating light from the blade
  • Fourth Style: Light Fang: The user strikes the opponent in a horizontal motion as the user switches to hold just the end of the blade to deliver the final blow.
  • Fifth Style: Light Arrow: The user straights it's blade to a point before it is thrown in a fast motion at the opponent giving a lighting after effect
  • Sixth Style: Light Dog: The user spins it's blade in a very fast motion while going after the opponent as the blade is then slammed down to the ground just inches from the foe lighting up the blade until a dog is formed to finish the opponent.
  • Seventh Style: Light Capsule: The user holds a huge amount of power in the blade before striking at the opponent with multiple attacks
  • Eighth Style: Light Rise: The user uses just the handle of it's blade to knock opponents back from behind before lifting the opponent up in the air before being slammed back on the ground finishing with a light effect. The user mostly uses this as a defensive move from close attacks
  • Ninth Style: Light Claw: The user closes in on the opponent striking in a three horizontal side motion going up and then down forming the markings of claws
  • Tenth Style: Light Hurricane: The user spins it's blade in a very faster motion forming winds of blinding light before slamming the blade to the ground for a much more damaging effect
Other: owns a mare North Swedish Horse(DawnAngel) Mostly does wear her hooded cape and wolf mask to hide her appearance

Techniques: -She will always have the word "Arctic" in her techniques in order to perform them~

  • Arctic Bane: The user is given the wolves "eyes" changing the users eyes to a light blue plain color as the users attack and speed raises simultaneously as the blade is surrounded by an ice mist
  • Arctic Zero: The user drops the temperature to negative 0 degrees. Due to the temperature drop, foes will have a hard time being able to defend themselves immobilizing them. The users blade is completely covered in ice due to the temperature drop as the user uses it's blade to strike down the foe as the ice enters inside the foes body piercing them on the inside and outside showing the pointing edges of the ice
  • Arctic Flower: The user stabs it's blade on the ground forming a strong that glass flower which captures the user inside healing even the most severe injuries as this also effects the users allies but leaves the user completely vulnerable to upcoming attacks
  • Arctic Blood: The users blade is completely covered in ice as the user uses its own blood to attack turning the ice completely red as it gives drastic pain to humans and demons but most painful to demons. The more blood the user has the more painful the attack will be.
(I will add more techniques when I have the time)
Other: owns a horse and an Arctic wolf well trained to take demons down. Mostly does wear her hooded cape and wolf mask to hide her appearance

Like koop said, you’re ability seems to have supernatural powers, which isn’t allowed. Additionally, I don’t see how a new slayer would have a trained wolf.

Again, there are some supernatural things like light dog, and you didn’t really explain how the breath style allows your character to gain these abilities. For example, through vibrating and humming, Kit is able to make “echoes” that follow his attacks; however, he could not just summon clones. Additionally, while I think the idea is cool, I think breath of sun is likely to be light based so I would prefer that no one would use one like that. And you haven’t really explained what type of breathing your character actually uses.

Actually @LunarSilvally I'm very sorry, but I just realized that with Dolan, we have reached our character limit for demon slayers. Since I failed to inform you, I’ll still let you apply and have a chance to get in, but I warn that I will be much more stringent when judging.
