hey guys, just wanted to see if there was any interest in a new region based rp

If so please read the rules, key location overviews and gym bios as their will be questions later on

Rules
1. No god-mod, if I say its
god-mod than its god-mod
2. Your Pokemon are allowed six moves maximum and you are only allowed a maximum of 7 Pokemon with the minimum being 6. I will make exceptions if you can provide a valid explanation(s)
3. Please keep your teams and actions, reasonable and realistic this is an additional challenge region meaning it is designed for pre-establish trainers not beginners
So no magikarp, no dunsparse etc
4. Fan mades are fine provided you let me know before hand so I can go over their abilities for god-mod
5. Please use as best grammar as you can, i understand if you are very busy just let me know thats why your grammar might be a little bit off
6. If you are rushing or really busy trying to reply to a keep up and are worried you might be left behind, let me know and we can organise something so you don't get lost

This rp takes place in the Dandur region, which is south west of Johto and west of Alola. Map will be added soon. The region is a mix between Alola and Hoenn regions and as such has a series of 8 gyms with trail like challenges as well as or included for trainers to complete to earn the badge.

In order of visitinb here are the main towns and cities of the Dandur region
1. home town - Sun Spring town, a small tourist town on the south most island
2. first gym city - Geogian city- ground type - mines and oil pumps everywhere
3. second gym - Nocturne city - dark type - built inside a mountain, with no natural light, meaning it is always lit by oil lamps
4. third gym city - Penilain city - normal type - nothing special just a coastal town
5. fourth gym city - Thanatos town - ghost type - built on cliffs overlooking a raging ocean, the regional Pokemon cemetery is located here
6. fifth gym city - Hawewe city - water type - coastal city with high tourism due to its warm weather and excellent surfing and swimming beaches
7. sixth gym city - Ostrium city - poison type - due to currents and tides Ostrium is a natural dumping point for waste materials from all over Dandur, due to this Ostrium is the poorest and least visited city in the region and as such has high levels of poverty and homelessness
8. seventh gym city - Slipstream city - flying type - the most advanced city in Dandur, soaring skyscrapers and near self-sufficiency means Slipstream's scientists are free to explore any field of science they wish to
9. eighth gym city - Ahi Mura island - fire type - built around the base of an ever-erupting volcano, Ahi Mura is the most traditional of all the cities and is proud to say that its traditions have lasted for hundreds of years
10. Hopena town and the Pokemon league - with Hopena town on one side and the Pokemon league on the other, with the two separated by victory road

Here are the basic bios and team concepts of the gym leaders

1. Ground
David- a rough tough miner whose Pokemon are workers first and battlers second.
Mamoswine - Ancient power, ice fang, earthquake and bulldoze
Mega Steelix - dig, iron tail, thunder fang and aqua tail
Gliscor- stealth rock, aerial ace, earth quake and fire fang

2. Dark
Reyna - mean, cold hearted and calculating, nothing is too low for Reyna, everything and anything is justified to ensure victory. it is rumored she enjoys offering to help tutor young trainers before defeating their pokemon and walking away laughing
Houndoom - flame thrower, inferno, thunder fang and sucker punch
Sableye - mean look, sucker punch, toxic and dark pulse
Weavile - night slash, icy wind, embargo and double team

3. Normal
Sgt T. Edwards - strong military man, who believes any kind of strategy is pointless and that all Pokemon battles should be ruthless and instinctual. His team consists of:
Tauros - rage, pursuit, strength and zen headbutt
Snorlax - sleep talk, rest, giga impact and body slam
Braviery - aerial ace, fly, shadow claw and brave bird

4. Ghost
Justin - very laid back calm demeanour outside of battle but when battling he is swift and precise in his actions
Gengar - toxic, sucker punch, dark pulse and energy ball
Spiritomb - shadow sneak, sucker punch, dark pulse and destiny bond
Mimikyu - dazzling gleam, substitute, shadow sneak and shadow ball
5. Water
Flow - A classic seaside girl when she isn't surfing with her Pokemon she's out swimming with them, highly enthusiastic and fun loving she would rather lose and have fun than win but in a way that was cruel or mean
Lapras - sheer cold, surf, ancient power and ice beam
Bruxish - double team, psychic, water pulse and aerial ace
Kingdra - hydro pump, dragon pulse, Draco meteor and dive

6. Poison
Viper - pale and scarily thin, viper's personality matches her appearance, anti-scoial and withdrawn she battles using rigid, abrupt movements to direct her Pokemon rarely ever speaking any louder than a whisper.
Crobat - air cutter, aerial ace, steel wing and cross poison
Salazzle - toxic, flamethrower, dragon pulse and venoshock
Toxapex - poison jab, baneful bunker , hydro pump and liquidation

7. Flying
Lena - zippy and quick thinking Lens is an excellent Pokemon trainer well on her way to becoming a Pokemon master. Her team hits hard and fast giving opponents little if any time to react
Altaria - sky attack, dragon pulse, perish song and cotton guard
Emolga - volt switch, thunderbolt, acrobatics and electro ball
Skarmory - steel wing, spikes, stealth rock and whirlwind

8. Fire
Cole - hot headed and easily agitated, his fierce fighting spirit and fiery temper
Talonflame - flame charge, aerial ace, fly and razor wind
Turtonator - Solar beam, fire blast, shell trap and dragon pulse
Arcanine - extremespeed, thunder fang, flame wheel and iron tail

Looks: lightly tanned with slim-buff physique, sun bleached browny-blonde hair and brown eyes
Clothes: light grey base shirt, dark cargo pants and a dark crimson over shirt
Personality: overall jake is a generally caring person with a big heart and a lot of knowledge, knowledge he enjoys sharing with others
Backstory: Jake was born in Canalave City in the sinnoh region and often tagged along with Byron on expeditions to Iron island. It was on one of these trips when Jake was roughly 6 or 7 that he would meet his partner Pokémon a then small, orphaned, black and white baby Riolu, who Jake named Scar. At first Scar was reluctant to train with Jake and when he did eventually cave in and train it would never last long with Scar often having to stop to regain his breath. But Jake wasn't going to give up that easily and by the time Jake was ready to head out on his Pokémon journey Scar was easily able to keep up with and out perform most if not all of the other Canalave city starters.
It was on this journey across Sinnoh that Scar evolved into Lucario
Over the next 6 years Jake and Scar would go on to challenge every regional league available as well as training under a variety of mentors. Most notable of which was Brandon of the Hoenn battle frontier pyramid and Cynthia the Sinnoh league Champion.
Most recently Jake was crowned as Alolan Champion for all of ten seconds with the 17 year old returning the title to his predecessor and heading off again to challenge the newly formed Dandur league in the nearby Dandur region

She's an Ivysaur mainly because she feels she'll loose her beauty if she evolves, so she has an Everstone.
But she is a strong battler, despite being the only party member who can't fly.

backstory : Percy used to be one of those good kids who does everything his parents tell him too and behaved well, but one day his parents caught him misbehaving and decided to change their ways of raising him since they saw they where spoiling him by not beating him for foul behavior, after years of said treatment he snapped and inflicted harm on his mother, once aware of what he did he ran away and started telling himself that it wasnt him, it was the other him that did it, the evil him, the bad him, Pain.
years of using this excuse to hide from his misbehavior turned Pain "Real", as if truly another person in his body, he decided to become a pokemon trainer once of proper age and learned how to get better control on Pain

Appearance: Max eyes are a piercing icy blue accompanied with jet black hair, which is usually sporting a bad case of bed head. As he believe's you always dress for the occasion and pokemon training is profession, Max normally wears a white with gray strips, long-sleeved dress shirt with the sleeve rolled to his elbows. He accompanies his shirt with black slacks covered with faint grass stains, a pair of white sneakers, a loose red tie, and a pair of black, finger-less leather gloves. Max stands at 6'0 and is pretty well built from the training he does with his pokemon. He normally stares forward with a gaze the leave people thinking his uninterested or just lacking on sleep, but when he battles his face brightens up with a determined smile.

Personality: Max has always been a bit of an under-achiever, whether it be school or house work he never really gave things much effort. Max would much rather sleep than most other activities, and will normally do so. He has a bad habit of going with the easiest path presented with him and only truly livens up around pokemon. In battles Max's quick-wit shines at thinking of battle tactics on the fly and aims at being a trainer strong enough to sit with the elite of the pokemon world.

Well regardless of your answer I may as well put a bio up...

Name: Knox Everett

Age: 18

Physical appearance: About 5ft 10 with a wiry frame, Knox strikes a fairly intimidating figure considering his size. He has a short shock of dark brown hair and mauve coloured eyes that he often uses to give his standard piecing glare. He has a fairly standard complexion due to living on Village Bridge for most of his life. He has fairly thick eyebrows that only emphasises any look he decides to give somebody, good or bad. He has fairly thin lips and a very small amount of freckles dot the bridge of his nose.

Clothing: A black trench coat that he wears over a dark blue shirt is his most common attire. The shirt itself has a single fuchsia line going down the very centre of it, all the way from the top to the bottom. Accompanying this is a pair of simple dark navy denim jeans and a pair of trainers the same dark blue as his shirt with fuchsia laces. The most important piece of clothing, at least in his opinion, is the black (Not quite the same black as his coat mind you, a little lighter) scarf he wears around his neck so that the two ends of it hand either side of the buttons on his coat. Each end is dark blue with two fuchsia spots that have an odd resemblance to the extra heads of a certain dragon type…

Personality: Knox likes to think of himself of a pretty chill guy and for the most part he is. He is happy to hang around with some good company and just chat and have a good time for hours. He cares deeply for his family and his Pokémon and would do anything for either of them, after all they would do the same for him. However he often gets lost in thought and will sometimes go long periods of time without talking, making some people get the wrong idea about him, thinking him rude those people would often write him off after getting him all wrong. The only times when Knox breaks his calm demeanour is when the boy is battling, in which case you may see a few grins and smirks here and there, and when somebody is messing with his friends or his extended family. Then he takes a leaf out of his partner’s book and his rage is quite uncontrollable.

Home region and town: Village Bridge, Unova.

Bio: Knox was born and raised on Village Bridge and spent most of his days either there or at Opelucid city where he received his partner for life, a particularly feisty Deino who was causing problems everywhere it went from Iris. He trained under the eyes of both Drayden and Iris until he became strong enough to take on all of the gyms in Unova, returning back to Opelucid city once he had defeated all the other gyms to take on his mentors. Name: Knox Everett

Age: 18

Physical appearance: About 5ft 10 with a wiry frame, Knox strikes a fairly intimidating figure considering his size. He has a short shock of dark brown hair and mauve coloured eyes that he often uses to give his standard piecing glare. He has a fairly standard complexion due to living on Village Bridge for most of his life. He has fairly thick eyebrows that only emphasises any look he decides to give somebody, good or bad. He has fairly thin lips and a very small amount of freckles dot the bridge of his nose.

Clothing: A black trench coat that he wears over a dark blue shirt is his most common attire. The shirt itself has a single fuchsia line going down the very centre of it, all the way from the top to the bottom. Accompanying this is a pair of simple dark navy denim jeans and a pair of trainers the same dark blue as his shirt with fuchsia laces. The most important piece of clothing, at least in his opinion, is the black (Not quite the same black as his coat mind you, a little lighter) scarf he wears around his neck so that the two ends of it hand either side of the buttons on his coat. Each end is dark blue with two fuchsia spots that have an odd resemblance to the extra heads of a certain dragon type…

Personality: Knox likes to think of himself of a pretty chill guy and for the most part he is. He is happy to hang around with some good company and just chat and have a good time for hours. He cares deeply for his family and his Pokémon and would do anything for either of them, after all they would do the same for him. However he often gets lost in thought and will sometimes go long periods of time without talking, making some people get the wrong idea about him, thinking him rude those people would often write him off after getting him all wrong. The only times when Knox breaks his calm demeanour is when the boy is battling, in which case you may see a few grins and smirks here and there, and when somebody is messing with his friends or his extended family. Then he takes a leaf out of his partner’s book and his rage is quite uncontrollable.

Home region and town: Village Bridge, Unova.

Bio: Knox was born and raised on Village Bridge and spent most of his days either there or at Opelucid city where he received his partner for life, a particularly feisty Deino who was causing problems everywhere it went from Iris. He trained under the eyes of both Drayden and Iris until he became strong enough to take on all of the gyms in Unova, returning back to Opelucid city once he had defeated all the other gyms to take on his mentors. Name: Jonathan Ringer

Age: 14

Physical appearance: About 5ft 4 in. The boy isn't very muscular but isn't skinny either. So his frame is that of your average 14 year old. He has really dark brown hair, such that it almost looks black and has hazel eyes. It's cut so that two pieces of hair hang down on either side of his face while the rest is short. He's slightly tanned as well.

Clothing: The boy wears a red visor and some red headphones around his neck to match. He wears a black Sinnoh League shirt that he must've got at some shop while he was there along with a pair of blue jeans and black and white converse.

Personality: Jonathan is a pretty introverted person. He doesn't really start much of the conversations that he's involved in and he also isn't much of an idea guy. He kinda likes to sit back and help out when he can but there's even a limit to the amount of help he will provide. The boy is growing up and is working on those sorts of things since he knows that he can't stay that way forever. He's hoping another Pokemon adventure will help him fix that.

Home region and town: Twinleaf Town, Sinnoh

Bio: Jonathan was born in Twinleaf Town and hasn't left since. He attended the Sinnoh trainer school and graduated with flying colors. The boy went out on his first Pokemon adventure with such a high confidence level. He quickly conquered 8 of the gyms and hastily proceeded to the Sinnoh league. Believing he had everything in the bag Jonathan entered. To everyone's surprise, the young boy actually won the Sinnoh League at just 13 years old.
After that day, Jonathan took a break from Pokemon until his dad convinced him about a year later to go on another adventure. It was a chance to catch new Pokemon, meet new friends, and become champion in another region. Jonathan quickly took up his father on the offer and headed out for the Dandur region.
