Vendor stands were open and selling Kalos League merchandise including, pins, shirts and posters of Diantha and her Pokemon Gardevoir. Landon smiled as he looked at a poster that claimed Diantha would be hosting the opening ceremonies this year, he clenched his fist in excitement just at the thought of potentially having a battle with her, however, he still had a mountain to climb, that being the other participants of the Kalos League. Beside Landon was a large Blaziken who's flames ignited with a fiery passion at the thought of the battles it could have.
"Hey Spike, let's get in there and win the Kalos League!" he stated determinedly. His Blaziken nodded as the two went off to begin registering for the League, getting in the back of a long line of trainers. It had been a while since he had begun collecting badges after finishing his training, now he was ready to show off the results of that hard work.
