Private/Closed Convergence Omniversal Heroes

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Belowski
Location: Camelot

As the dust settled, the silhouette of a familiar sayain woman stood proudly, however wearily at the explosion site. She stood in a large crater that went easily six feet under. Belowski couldn’t help but give a few ‘ooooh’ and ‘aaaahs’ at the sight. She stood firmly in her crater, even asking if that was all that Belwoski had to dish out. He rubbed the back of his head.

“Actually, yeah dude.” He chuckled, still rubbing the back of his head. “Didn’t have much left in the hand to work with, the universe’s way of sayin’ you won. How was that? Is your zen back?”

While Belwoski didn’t put the fight itself as a big concern, he mainly had worried about if he could correct caulifla’s internal balance. After interrupting Lancelot, he needed to balance out the universe and his karma.

The battlefield itself was quite...damaged. Guards were asleep in a huge radius around the castle, the huge crater caulifla stood in even enveloped some of the castle’s outer wall, and the actual structure of he castle was broken into due to caulifla landing in it. Their battle had been pretty distructive...to say the least.

Name: Doug Duem & Numemon
Location: Saudi Arabia - Infected

A whirling dimensional rift opened up, spitting Doug and his companion flying into the air. They were several feet up from the ground, so Doug tumbled onto the ground while Numemon landed with a splat. Doug rubbed his head while Numemon decompressed back into his unfortunately familiar slug like shape. He looked around, noticing that they had been plopped down in some kind of rustic, rundown city of some kind. Not a person in sight, which was unsettling for the tamer.

“Uh...bud...” Doug cautiously eyed his surroundings. “I don’t like the looks of this...”

“Really? I think it beats the limbo of being forgotten about for months and put in a half while the flow of time remains indifferent to those around us.”

Doug just looked at the slug with a disgusted or confused look, perhaps a mix of the two. “...your acting weird again.”

"Without another crystal, that might be easier said than done." Catgirl said. "Someone or something had redirected us to a different dimension. Though, given the large amount of crystals that have been popping up, there's a chance we'll run into one or more sooner or later. In the meantime, we stick together. DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING! This world is home to parasitic beings that can infect sentient beings."

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Doug Duem & Numemon
Location: Haloverse- Saudi Arabia

Doug stood up, brushing off some dust on his pants. He looked to the team, which consisted of himself, Numemon, Ogremon, Catgirl, and presumingly Haze if she were to arrive from the room. Doug paced back and forth, thinking up some kind of plan. He looked toward the environment, hot, but somehow he didn’t need to
Sweat.

“According to blue falcon guidelines section two dash B, we should always assess the area first before we take action, it doesn’t seem we are in any digital world, but I don’t see any humans either. Does anyone know a way where we locate people?”

Doug had to admit, he had no idea how to act or react in an organic world, as catgirl’s universe was the first one he had ever been to. The human world his digital world was attached to was obliterated by chaosdramon and his forces of chaos generals. So actually breathing air in his lungs was...exhilarating.

The Wilds, Star's Wand
"Zeliyis."
It wasn't obvious at first, but Nomad's chest slowly began to glow at the name. When the Nomad realized, he glanced down towards his chest to see a faint blue light streaming out. He put his hands on the sides of his head, bewildered and shocked. Was he... reacting to the name, somehow?

The Wilds, The Cliffside

"Fair warning, Erza. I'm going to ignore him for the rest of the trip." Keda said, gesturing to Rex to ensure she knew exactly who he was speaking about. At this point, it just wasn't worth dealing with his crap. Keda just wanted to get home, and he wasn't up for having ego fights where survival was concerned. He nodded in thanks to Erza's response. "We should be mostly ready. If so... let's depart."

On the first day, the group got lucky. Keda was able to show off some of his hunting talents when the group encountered a buffalo. Alpha was the first to dart out, frightening the buffalo and causing it to run away. Keda began to whistle as he did. Slowly, Alpha turned the buffalo around, having it charged right at Keda. The hunter had insisted on Rex coming along with them, and chuckled at Rex's screams of panic. When the animal was close enough, Keda charged forwards, a clean jab to the skull ending the beast quickly. Of course, Rex played it all off as a sudden hiccuping fit. Erza was the one to carry the meal, being by far the strongest among them. Just as night began to set over the horizon, the group reached the cave where Keda had spent the night with Alpha so long ago.

A large fire was burning underneath the buffalo's chopped-off fragments of meat, all put onto a stake and slowly being rotated. Alpha lay down at the entrance to the cave, watching the horizon while she waited for her turn at the meat. When the beef was ready, Keda pulled the stake from the fire. He held it out to the others. There were five pieces in all. "Please, eat up. You'll need your strength for the coming winter."
Jamie turned back from a campfire. "Don't mind if I do!" The boy snagged the piece from the end of the stake, biting into it aggressively.
As Keda allowed the others to take their food, he began to plan. "I doubt we'll be so lucky as to find a buffalo tomorrow. Erza, it would probably be best for the two of us to go after different targets, to get more food going around."

Sequin Land, Mermaid Falls - VS GIGA MERMAID
"I dunno, toss me up there or somewhere!" Rottytops flailed. In attempting to remove her leg, she had tripped and collapsed on the ground.
Meanwhile, some of the Mermaids were beginning to stumble. The front line seemed to be falling under Contessa's hypnotic effects... leaving the second line to unleash another wave of harmful bubble attacks towards the spider and her troops.

Central Yharnam
"That sounds like a good plan to me." Sypha confirmed.
"Everyone, get as far back as you can when we get to the sewers!" Trevor said, formulating a plan. As he did, he grabbed the handle of the Morningstar whip at his side. "Sypha, when it enters, create an ice wall to trap it in. I'll be in front. Morningstar has the best chance of killing that thing."
"Understood." Sypha waved her hands, opening the wall of fire in the rear to allow the others to retreat.
"Move!" Trevor shouted, leading the flight back. He needed to scout distance. Morningstar had a range of ten feet. He wanted to be as far away from whatever that thing was as possible. If the ice wall was a foot thick, and the monster was large like he assumed... fifteen feet would be a good benchmark.

Camelot Castle, Throne Room [Afternoon]
Sir Lancelot was caught by Merlina. The wizard extended her spell, restoring stamina to Lancelot. "Yes. I barely managed to fend off the effects of whatever that was. It's likely the whole of Castle Town is asleep, save for us and some of the travelers."

Camelot Castle, Dining Hall [Afternoon]
"KILL that thing?! I'm more concerned with my OWN survival, thank you very much!" JoJo said. "Not to mention figuring out what the hell these purple vine things are!" Joestar continued to hang off of the chandelier, deciding to wrap his legs around it so his hands were free. He remained in the room for the time being, making sure to watch over the others. I may not know these people well, but if I know anything, I don't want them dying on my watch!
Suddenly, the knight stirred. JoJo watched as Sir Percival rose to her feet, a hand on the hilt of Laevatein. "What...?"
"You all suddenly fell asleep and some black goo thing attacked the ones that were awake." JoJo spat out.
Sir Percival... should have doubted the human, but based on what had just happened, his words seemed to line up. She drew her sword, looking around the room and remaining vigilant. "If it returns, it shall face my flames."

Camelot Castle Town, Blacksmith's Shop [Evening]
"Nonono, I handle the mask." Stark said, plucking the metal that was going to go into the faceplate away from Spiral as some of the classic Tony Stark ego began to return. "Gotta make sure it's form-fitting. Don't want you giving me a nose indent or something like that."

"Can't agree with the chicken legs comment." Shantae chuckled. "Last time I was in medieval times, I was looking for hourglasses!" Shantae's mind hadn't been on her loved ones, actually. Yes, she missed Uncle Mimic, Sky, Bolo, Rottytops, all of them. But with her parents never in her life, she was used to being away from friends and family.
She was actually thinking about her newer friends. Maple, Nathan, Shovel Knight, Hat Kid, Lilac, Alpha, Kris and Hornet. Having even one other person would help. Someone familiar, someone who could share her experiences. In Maple's case, someone who could reunite everyone and fix things.
"You and Ruby are close, huh?" Shantae asked. It was pretty clear by now they were sisters. They seemed to have a really good relationship, though, compared to what she had heard about siblings in the past from Rottytops.

Atlantic Ocean [Evening]
(Auto hit perms granted by Comic)
Sonic managed to dodge the large ball of Force easily, seeing it coming a mile away due to the effect it had on the water. "Oh, too bad, so sad! Maybe try speeding it up next-"
"My liege, look! He's open!"
Sonic's eyes focused as Vader's shoulders began to droop and his arms lowered. "Oh."
"OH!"
The next moment, a blue fist suddenly slammed into Vader's chest. Milliseconds later, a foot struck him right in the center of the back, before he was uppercutted into the air. As the realization the first hit had happened finally reached Vader's mind, Sonic finished off the quick combo with a series of spin dash slashes, cutting away at Vader's armor. He quickly finished the combo with a Homing Attack, launching Vader back down into the ocean. "How d'you like that, you edgy skull-face?!" Sonic shouted, landing on the water with wind solidifying him a platform.

Far East, City of Mercy
"Uh? Alright." Silver was slightly confused by Jet's sudden departure. Nevertheless, Blaze was nearby, and he trusted Jet to rejoin him. So he flew down to the mall, touching down on the floor. "Hey, Blaze."
"Hey."
Blaze was facing away from Silver. Wasn't like her. Usually she'd turn to say hello. That meant...
"Blaze, what's wrong?" Silver asked, taking a step forward.
As soon as he did, Blaze flinched away, gripping her shoulders.
"Blaze...?"
"...I needed some time." Blaze said, still not looking at Silver. She knew he would keep pressing, even if she didn't talk. "I... That man brought up some things. Things I wasn't ready to think about. And... Wh-what if I hurt you? AGAIN? I can't- Not after last time, I can't lose control again..."
"You won't, Blaze." Silver said, trying to reassure her. "I know you won't. You know how to control fire, you-"
"I'M TEMPERAMENTAL!" Blaze shouted, finally turning to Silver. "I'm angry, and sad, and an emotional mess and that's not a healthy environment for either of us! I don't... I need to find some way to deal with this..."
"Blaze..." Silver looked down, holding his arm. "...you already can deal with this. I know you can."
"You're the strongest person I've ever known."
That last phrase came under Silver's breath. Even if it hadn't, both Mobians turned at the sound of Jet's voice. "That doesn't sound good." Silver lifted himself off the ground, floating up as Blaze prepared for a fight. Nothing happened, though... not that they could see. "We should meet up with Jet." Silver said. Blaze nodded. The pair moved off towards their ally's location.

---

The Ogretail, meanwhile, let out a screech at the sudden fire. Its form was consumed in the flames... but didn't burn. Now having its attention, Todoroki was faced with the lumbering monster charging right at him.
"Get the hell back, you dag nabbed mongrel!"
Suddenly, Engie leapt at the Ogretail, taking out a special wrench of his - the Jag. As he stabbed down into the monster, the weapon... pierced its hide? Conagher allowed his shock to overtake him for no more than a moment, beginning to tear at the Ogretail, who screamed in genuine pain for the first time in its existence.

Far East, Fenrir Base
Alisa merely nodded. "Alisa Illinichina Amiella. New-type God Eater. First Unit."
"I actually came here to talk about that." Lenka said. "I wanted to be there for your training in case anything happened. Like... what happened back at the training facility. Speaking of, how are you feeling?"

Goldenwalk, Business District
"Oh no." Peter Parker saw what was happening up ahead. The destroyed building the others had pointed out. People were inside... that was bad. "Hey, uh, Mr. Claw Dude? Sorry, I'm bad with names. Can you watch Ms. Gun-Hands Android here? Thanks." Before Logan could object, Parker turned to the blind girl. "Uh... Toph, right?" Peter knew that much. Ned LOVED Avatar. Hadn't seen the movie adaptation. He heard it was terrible. "Just keep the building stable for me, alright? I'll take care of the rest. Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, on the mission!" Firing off his web shooters, Peter pulled himself off of a street lamp, swinging over towards the building.
Swinging right above the destroyed building, Spider-Man decided to slowly and carefully lower himself down. Flipping around, Peter landed on his feet, touching down on the partially-collapsed second floor. Moving carefully, he tried to listen to voices.
"Help... someone please help...!"
"Gotcha." Parker said to himself. The web-slinger slowly advanced... but quickly raised his foot at a sudden spark of danger. The Peter-Tingle? No, no way was he calling it the Peter-Tingle. Wait... the Peter-Tingle. That gave him an idea.
Spider-Man began to slowly walk around the roof, carefully approaching the collapsed part. Several large slabs of stone covered the interior. Parker crouched down next to one of the pieces, slowly putting his hand towards it. Spike of Peter-Tingle. "Don't move that one. Got it." He turned around, pointing his web shooter to another. Peter-Tingle. "Not that one either. Alright, how about..." Peter moved his foot towards a large slab near the roof. No Peter-Tingle. "Gotcha." Peter shot his webs towards the debris, ripping it upwards. Right after, he dropped down into the room below.
What he saw was four different, dirty people. A mother and her son, a middle-aged office worker, and a young woman in a dress who looked MJ's age.
"Uh... hi."
The people screamed, stumbling back. As they did, Spider-Man quickly raised his hands. "Whoa, whoa! I-I'm not here to hurt you! I'm here to help! Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. I'm a superhero."
"Like... Spider-Woman? But a man?" the office worker asked.
"Y-yes! Exactly!" Peter replied. "Don't worry, I'll get you out of here, just gotta-"
Peter-Tingle.
"Oh no. MOVE!" The girl had backed into the rubble, destabilizing it. Spider-Man quickly webbed her and pulled her out of the way of a falling pillar. Grabbing her, he ran further back into the room as a good portion of the roof collapsed, trapping them further in. "Oh no. No no nonono." Spider-Man looked up to the room with a shocked expression. Immediately after, he began pacing. "Nononononono think Peter THINK!" He wasn't about to let himself be trapped in here, he had to get these people out-
"Wait." Peter looked to where the roof had just collapsed. "I was outside just now, the roof... It was thin. If I could-"
He had an idea. First, he had to secure the area. The onlookers watched in confusion as Spider-Man began going through various settings, including web grenades. Soon enough, the entirety of the wall of debris in front of the group was covered in webs. Immediately after, Peter began weaving himself something new... a slingshot made of web. As soon as he was done, he looked around for any solid objects he could launch. Nothing feasible in the current situation.
"Ugh."
Not taking the time to explain, Spider-Man decided to use himself as a human cannonball, launching himself through the ceiling. The people let out a scream at the chance of destabilizing the rubble, but the webbing kept the roof stable. Moments later, a new thread dropped down. Spider-Man was standing at the top of the debris pile. "Grab on tight! I'll pull you up!"
Soon enough, everyone was outside and safe. Peter helped them safely descend to the street. "Thank you, thank you so much!" the office worker said, the others echoing similar thanks.
"I-It's nothing." Peter chuckled. "Just doing my job!" He shot a web to a nearby lamp post, thwipping back over to the others. No more than three minutes had passed during that entire mission.
"So, how'd I do?"

Arendelle, Elsa's Castle
Somehow, however, Alpha was doing just fine. He stood up with a cough, but not even the slightest sign of pressure remained on his throat from the grip. The advantages of being a digital avatar. "STILL UP FOR LIGHTNING ROD IF YOU ARE!" Alpha said, shouting over to Hornet. Kris, meanwhile, vanished out of sight.

"A dragon. Of course there's a dragon." Maple hissed. "Lilac, I'll get you up there. BEANSTALK!" A large beanstalk suddenly grew from the ground right in front of Maple, twisting in just the right way to form a path right to the Heartless Dragon's head. When the dragon launched off its dark fire, she quickly turned the path of the beanstalk upwards, hiding behind the thick pillar. The fire began to burn through the front layers, but it was fairly thick. It wouldn't last for more than half a minute at this rate...

Haloverse, Earth, Saudi Arabia
Haze quickly moved in between Ogremon and Okimi. "H-hey, please calm down! It's not their fault, I-"
Suddenly, Haze collapsed with a gasp, falling to her knees. She began to breathe deeply. "What- What is-?" Haze's hand slowly approached her core crystal. It was slowly losing its blue light... "Oh... no..." Haze kept a tight grip on her staff, her hand shaking in the process. She was... she had been okay in the last universe, why...

Name: Caulifla, Yang
Location: Camelot

Actually, yeah dude. Didn’t have much left in the hand to work with, the universe’s way of sayin’ you won. How was that? Is your zen back?

Caulifla blinked, her eyes had been widened as her jaw hung open in almost comical fashion as a drop of sweat rolled down the Saiyan's confused face. For once, the always vocal Saiyan warrior had been left utterly speechless as Belowski seemed to declare his surrender even as Caulifla barley stood on her feet. It took a bit long for the gears to turn and once they did the reaction initially seemed to not be what Belowski hoped for.

"WHAT!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" Caulifla called out, as she raced right in front of Belowski as her face seemed to show a mixture of confusion and frustration. "Look at me, you turned me into a battle-worn mess and you are standing here without a scratch. Yet you say you can't continue, why!? I won't accept this pity win fight me with all you have! If you think you can just half-it against me and expect to be done with me off that you are crazy! What you are out of these cards or whatever, is that the issue? Well your gauntlet seems to have more. Just use those!" Caulifla pleaded, as she wanted to fight this to the end and had not been prepared to have her opponent hand her a victory she had not earned in her view; her Saiyan pride shining through in full.

-----
"Yeah, Ruby is my sis. She means the world for me....and I've been trying my best to take care of her. Not so easy when one of the figures meant to care for you just....a-anyway yeah I just try my best to support her and look after her." Yang said to Shantae, as it had been quite obvious that she had a strong connection with her sibling.

"Which makes this whole thing more of a mess. I'm mostly the mess, in times like this I need to be strong for her. Be a rock she can lean on you know? Yet I can't....haven't, been able to do a damn thing. Sorry big sis aren't I?" Yang chuckled, though even as she tried to paint it as a joke it was clear her experience to now bothered her. Something Shantae would pick up upon with her tone.

Name: Erza, Dipper, Raven, Star
Location: The Wilds, Star's Wand

Instantly all eyes shifted to Nomad, who seemed to shine bright blue without warning and clutched the sides of his head as Star quickly rushed over next to him.

"Hey, I know you can't speak but are you okay? What is wrong!? Give me a sign or clue or something." Star stressed as she tried to offer some support to the silent member of the group. Glossaryck stroked his chin.

"I wonder..."

-----
"It would be wiser to break into groups and hunt then. 2 out of everyone does not a group make." Erza replied back, as the day had made one thing clear with her they were far and she meant far from any sort of cohesive group. Keda and Rex's little personal feud was growing more bothersome by the hour and if something had not been done to resolve this soon.

And it seemed she had a plan in mind, as she walked up between Keda & Rex while she opened up a portal to her personal subspace.

"You two need to learn to resolve your issues and work with each other. Not against each other. So for that consider this a trust exercise." Erza explained, before she pulled a pair of magical handcuffs and aimed to slap them on the wrists of Rex & Keda to connect them together.

"This is the best method to getting you to see value with each other and play off each other's skills." Erza explained to the two with her arms folded over her chest plate.

Name: Ogremon
Location: Saudi Arabia (Halo)

"I don't know, but there is something in the sky overheard. Could be people, could be a Digimon or could be a monster to eat us all. Whatever it is there is nothing out here in this empty piece of nothin." Ogremon spat as he brought the attention of that flying item on the horizon to their attention though his frustration had not quelled nor had his club lowered the entire time.

At this point, he'd welcome an encounter these "infectious parasite beings" so he had something to vent on. Though his focus shifted to Haze who after she tried to calm the group down collapsed to her hands and knees. An image that sparked an old memory in Ogremon's head.

S-so weak I...I can't....O-Ogremon....

Kid!

Ogremon shook his head as he turned to the downed girl. The warrior Digimon shook his head. "Can't even stand with an enemy nowhere in sight? You need to up your game..." Ogremon replied, though within that same token it aimed to grab Haze by her shirt and try to pull her up so she can rest on his shoulders.

"Don't complain about it being bumpy. I don't offer charitable rides." Ogremon replied as he seemed set on not having Haze cause them to linger offering her a ride given her condition. Which puzzled the Digimon.

Name: Akame, Bakugo
Location: Yharnam

"Who is this guy to tell me what to..."

"Argue here and you likely end up part of the debris. Move it."

Bakugo's protest had been cut off by the cold warning of Akame, but this time the hot-headed student opted to head the "advice" as he reluctantly moved back with Akame and allowed Trevor to make his move. Once this was done, they'd race to the sewers and begin their long trip through them.

----------
Name: Toph
Location: Goldenwalk

Toph worked to provide support to the toppled structure while Spider-Man went on hits, well for lack of better word, amazing rescue display as he managed to pull each member of the trapped family out of there.

When Spider-Man came out, after Toph had safely disposed of the rumble with a stomp and drastic shift of the house remains, she had a cheeky grin as she walked to Spider-Man and lightly gave a hard tap to his arm.

"Man didn't know you had that in you. Felt the whole thing. Nice job web head." Toph complimented even if she had not been able to look Peter in the eye.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Belowski
Location: Camelot

Belwoski didn’t react negatively to this outburst of Caulifla’s at all. Instead the duelist just kept his happy, laid back demeanor, despite knowing what angering a Saiyan could do to most living things.

“Nah. I never lie dude, that would be totally unchill. Don’t worry, I can explain it out to y’a.” Belowski spoke, his voice as laid back as his demeanor. “Y’a see, we duelists have these guys called duel monsters we summon into battle with these cards. And when we have a set limit of what is in our hand, and what can be drawn in. So, if I have no monsters to play, then I can’t do anything. Have a looky.”

Belwoski showed caulifla his hand. Three spell cards were located in it, but no pictures of any Mokey Mokey’s or such monsters. He’d hoped that the woman would understand what he meant.

“A deck would be just another hand if we could use everythin’ In ‘em at the same time. Duelists can only draw once per turn unless they have cards that have them draw more. It’s even bad to draw that much too, as if the deck runs out, the duelist automatically loses. Gotta balance it, ya know? Too little and too much would be too un-chill, y’a know?”

Name: Rex Raptor
Location: Wilds

Rex begrudgingly began to eat the meat before him, not because of the source of the meat, but who acquired it. Keda had proven himself a constant thorn in his side, and Erza seemed to know it. He was about to do a long inner monologue about how much he wanted to get rid of the caveman and his mutt...until a pair of handcuffs were slapped onto his arm and Kedas. It took him a second to register what had just happened, looking at the arm, and then to Keda’s. Oh heeeeeeeeell no!

“What?!? Your crazy chick! I ain’t gotta put up with anybody that I don’t want to! Especially not primitive freeloaders which should have stayed in the Stone Age!”

In fact, he blinked at the thought where these handcuffs came from: erza’a portal. He growled, tugging roughly on the handcuffs and pointing to her.

“We could have teleported this whole time?!?!”

Name: The Contessa, C
Location: Mermaid falls

The Italian countess showed no sign of worry. The hypnotized forces of mermaid allowed the other, non-brainwashed mermaids in front of them. All according to plan. The Contessa laughed to herself, lifting a talon.

“Forces. Take care of them will you?”

The half of the mecha mermaids that were mind controlled jumped the non mindcontrolled ones from behind, attacking them from the flank and dragging with tooth and nail to the ground, turning it into a brawlfest of fishy proportions. The Contessa whipped her hair back, still untouched from the battle.

Meanwhile C grabbed Rottytop’s Head, visible disgust written all over his face. “Uhm...Whatever you say!”

He revved up before chucking the head right toward the cranium of Giga mermaid, not quite sure what the zombie had in mind, but hoped it would at least delay them somehow

Name: Doug Duem & Numemon
Location: Saudi Arabia

Doug was alarmed at the sight of haze, one of their traveling companions beginning to shake and fall. He rushed over to her quickly to give her a supporting hand to prop her up.

“Miss! Are you okay?!”

He wasn’t an expert on first aid...especially not organic first aid. He was used to exposed data being an issue...not blood, so his medical expertise was slim to none. He could do nothing but curse his mind for that one.

Numemon meanwhile grew increasingly bored, wishing something exciting and fightable happened. So he brought out broadsword he has somehow kept hidden, looking at himself in the blade’s reflection.

Vriska Serket
Sequin Land - Mermaid Falls

The Giga Mermaid was roaring, the mermaid underlings were clashing with one another, a head was sailing through the air, and Vriska found herself in the epicenter of it all. Was it the weirdest thing she'd ever seen? No. It wasn't even the weirdest thing she'd taken part of. Brandishing the sword given to her by Risky, she leaped right into the mermaid civil war, slashing with verve, hacking with purpose, and killing with style, turning the battle royal into a mermaid massacre. None stood a chance against the blade with Vriska's superhuman strength behind it.

Oh, how she wished Terezi were here to see this. Or even be a part of it. They made a good tag-team, and with such a pirate setting... they'd spent most of their childhood together flarping as pirates, building ships, finding treasure, taking names and kicking ass. As mermaid parts were sent flying about her in grotesque fashion, she couldn't help but feel a bit guilty that she was here having the pirate-fun-life while Terezi was back at the meteor, left to deal with Gamzee.

Artemis
Camelot Castle - Dining Hall

"Fine then. Play idly by like the coward I presumed you would be, and allow myself, a lady, to deal with the immediate threat with extreme prejudice." Artemis replied coolly to JoJo, though her voice had traces of venom behind her words. With that, she leaped out of the hole in the wall, drawing back another arrow, plummeting to the ground, aiming at the symbiote, which was in the process of standing back up. She let loose the arrow, but Venom was already moving, leaving the streak of light to graze his back, opening up a wound that was quickly sealed by the inky goop.

Artemis landed on the ground, and swung her bow at Venom, hitting her mark- problem was, Venom clung to it, snarling as he used it to yank her to him, opening hit maw wide-
"HAHAHAHA!"
They were interrupted by a shirtless grey man with red markings all over his form, leaping onto Venom's back, wielding two blades and rapidly plunging them into the symbiote's back, forcing it to shriek and let go of Artemis, who stumbled back, quickly regaining her footing while the enemy reached for the man clinging onto its back, stabbing away. "HAHAHA RHAAAAGH!" The man laughed, clearly enjoying this as though it were some kind of game to him as Artemis stared, momentarily dumb-founded, blinking several times in slight disbelief. The fool...

Darth Vader
Atlantic Ocean

He could already hear his master, belittling him for the turn-out of this fight. "You are weak, Lord Vader. Anakin Skywalker was strong. You are simply a shadow of your former self. Nothing compared to what you should have been. Now, merely a disappointment."
Vader grit his teeth, calling upon the force, and just as he hit the surface of the water, he stopped with a crack echoing through the air. Standing back up, he looked upwards at the hedgehog, glaring, turning his rage from his hate of Kenobi...
To his hate of Palpatine.

Wordlessly, Darth Vader swiped his fist, and Sonic was slammed down- hard -into his floor of air he'd generated, breaking it and beginning to hurtle to the water. Before he could conjure up a counter, he slammed into another barrier, harder than before, this one made of the force as Vader lifted into the air, pulling even more of the force into him. The swirling clouds above began to revolve and move downward around Vader, starting to crackle with electricity, the waves of the ocean picking up, sloshing about more violently. The air began to feel heavy as Vader held Sonic in place.

"Your annoyance comes to an end, your highness." Vader said loudly and mockingly. "I take pleasure in destroying you." With that, still holding Sonic firmly in place in the air, almost as though he were boxed in by the force, a huge bolt of lightning, directed out of the cloud by the force, flashed right toward Sonic as the Sith ignited his saber once more. He wouldn't be satisfied until the King's head was detached from his body.
The lightning struck, forcing an echoing boom to bounce off the ocean for miles, Vader walking through the air, heading right for the cloud of smoke the lightning had brought up from the strike, Sonic presumably in the center of it. "You've left your castle defenseless. Your kingdom helpless. When I'm finished with you, I will destroy everything you love."

Rick Grimes
Far East - Fenrir Base

"Better." Rick answered, biting his cheek for a second. "I was just... exhausted. Got impaled with rebar, lost a lot of blood, wound up in a universe where my existence is supposed to fictional, got infused with an Aragami, strained myself in a simulation... it's been a rough week." He finished with a light-hearted chuckle. "All things considered, I'm grateful to be here. Alive. Able to help. It's a lot different than what I'm..." He paused. "Used to..." He glanced over to the nightstand, where his letters to his family sat. He already missed them so much... Michonne, the woman he'd fallen in love with. They'd even tried for a baby just a day before all of... this. Judith, his sweet daughter. She was growing up so fast. He had a lot of hope for her future. Daryl, his best friend. Brother, even. The man who'd been with him every step of the way on this entire journey- until now. And Carl. Already dead, but maybe... maybe through all of this cosmic whatever... Carl could come back.

Rick had been thinking a lot about it. He wasn't supposed to be real in this universe. His life was a television show. A source of entertainment for a world that even these people had left behind. He'd probably have to look in on that television show, see if everything was even accurate. It made Rick extremely curious, to say the least. However, he had to worry about the possible resurrection of Carl and watching a show about himself later. Right now, he'd already ingrained himself into the community of Fenrir. He had a job to do.
"I'm ready to get back to it when I can." Rick told Lenka, rubbing his own forearm absent-mindedly.

Logan
Goldenwalk - Business District

Before Logan could say a word of response to Toph, or make any decision, the Spider-Kid was off, speaking fast as he leaped away toward the building. "Did he just call me Mr. Claw Dude?" Logan asked nobody in particular, watching the building, seeing a section of it collapse. If that damn kid got himself trapped in there, too...
However, to Logan's... relief? He wasn't sure, but the kid came back, waving off the small group of people he'd saved as they ran off, before zipping himself over to Logan and the others.
"So how'd I do?"
Toph offered her positive reply, stating she felt all of it. So clearly the kid, 'web-head' as Toph just nicknamed him, had done some good. "Couldn't see any of it." He stated simply to Spider-Man. "Come on, we need to keep moving. If we can find the group of people we were with earlier, we can..." He wasn't sure what they could do, so he didn't bother finishing his sentence, leaving it open-ended. With that, he continued to walk, the familiar limp in his step as he went.

Truth be told, the Wolverine was feeling weaker than usual. He knew some of it had to do with that damned motorcycle that had hit him earlier. His rips were still recovering from that, but much more slowly than if he were just a decade younger. He knew the adamantium was slowly killing him. That much was fact. How long he had? He didn't know. Maybe he'd never make it back to his own world in time. He wouldn't get to say bye to Charles. Maybe even if he got back before his own death, Chuck would already be gone...
There were too many variables and not enough time. Besides, Logan wasn't fond of all this in-depth thinking. It just gave him headaches.

Agent Carolina
Medina - Saudi Arabia (Earth)

It was quiet. Too quiet... "Something's not right." Church said. "No shit. They're just zombies, they can't make... tactical ambushes or something, right?" She asked. "Don't ask me. In case you didn't remember, I haven't done my research on the flood. I thought we'd be watching some classic 90's action film, but no, now we're in the goddamn apocalypse if it had a deformed child with A Nightmare On Elm-"
"Shut up, Church."
"No, I'm not done ranting. I've been waiting for this. See, I-"
"I said; shut the fuck up, Church." Carolina hissed as she raised an arm, her fist closed. The entire squad slowed to a stop about her, all aiming here and there. It continued to be quiet. "Wait, did I miss something?" Church asked. Carolina didn't reply, looking about, before hearing it again. A distant voice. Deep and gruff-like... not too different from those hairy aliens called 'Brutes' earlier in the Arabian mountains.
"Survivors, ma'am?" The Marine beside her asked, looking to her for direction. She glanced back, and noticed that all their eyes were on her. She faltered, not having expected this, and her voice caught in her throat. She wasn't used to this. Not at all. Sure, she liked to be the center of attention, but these guys weren't looking to her for something cool she'd just performed. They were looking to her for instruction.
They looked to her for a leader, something she wasn't comfortable with, really. Back with Project Freelancer, she'd been somewhat of a leader, but she and all the other agents operated on their own terms for the most part. This was way different. Looking into each of their faces, she could see more than that waiting face for an order... they looked scared shitless.

Carolina sighed. Sometimes it was easy to forget that people like this weren't just disposable, but they had thoughts, emotions, histories, and families, just like her. "Uh... Earth to Carolina?" Church's voice cut into her thoughts, and she blinked, seeing that the Marines appeared confused now. All remained silent. "Fan out." She ordered. "Keep an eye on your motion trackers. Johnson said the Flood are smarter than your average undead. They could be luring us into a trap. Might be civilians, might not. Surround the area. If things go south, you'll give me cover fire."
"Yes, ma'am." The Australian Marine beside her gave a nod, and started to move out. "Hey, wait." She said to him, unable to stop herself. These guys would probably die anyway, no need to get attached... but it wouldn't hurt to at least know a name. "What's your name?" She asked. "I'm just a Marine, ma'am. We're all numbers in the end." He replied, and continued on with the rest of the Marines.

Miranda Keyes, Rebium
UNSC Horizon - Orbit (Reach)

"I need to return to my fleet." Rebium growled as Miranda fired down an infection form scuttling toward them. "There's no time. We need to find an evacuation pod and get to the surface of the plane-" She was cut off as Rebium roughly grabbed her arm, yanking her about to face him, putting his massive face in hers, growling aggressively. "We will go to your hangar and retreat to my ship, human."
Miranda stared back into his red eyes unblinkingly, her expression clearly showing fearlessness. "No." She stated, and Rebium snarled, pushing her away, causing her to slam into the wall as he stormed past her. "I'll leave you on this ship to rot, then." He told her darkly. "The parasite isn't picky about who they consume."

The Commander glared after Rebium, getting back to her feet and casting a look around for any potential flood threats. Upon seeing none, she started after Rebium, before stopping. He was heading straight toward the Horizon's briefing room, which was located right next to the barracks. There was bound to be most of the crew there, and they would be undoubtedly rotting flesh by now. She could easily go the other way, leave the Brute to his hotheaded fate, and escape the ship alone...
Shaking her head, she started after him. She'd made a deal. An alliance with the 'Banished' in order to put a stop to the Flood. This guy seemed like their leader, and if she let him die, there was no telling what his fleet would do. If they defeated the Flood and discovered Rebium was dead, they may turn against their new allies. That was something Miranda couldn't afford. "Rebium!" She called. "Hangar's this way. You're headed right for a nest of parasites."
Rebium stopped, turning to look at her. "Lead the way." He growled at her, not catching the lie about the hangar.

Cpl. Fisk, Fred, Linda, Kelly
Ruins of Quezon (Reach)

Mounds of rubble and glassed remains surrounded the group at each turn. They encountered no other survivors along the way, and the once-distant horde of flood had drawn closer and closer, clearly following the four. While Fisk felt fear gripping his gut, the Spartans didn't seem bothered in the slightest. They were quiet. Not just with their voices, but with their movements. They certainly didn't look it with all that clunky armor and size, but damn were they stealthy. A lot stealthier than the Marine, who's boots pounded on the ground with each step, his labored breaths accompanying them. They'd been running non-stop, and Fisk was wearing down. Leaping over rubble, weaving through ruins, and just general running would do that to anyone. Well, anybody but a Spartan, it would seem.

Finally, the Spartans made a stop, allowing Fisk to catch up and catch his breath. "What's our bearing?" Fred asked Kelly as she glanced behind them, before returning her attention to Fred. "Should be reaching the base, soon."
"Base?" Fisk huffed. "What... base...?" He had no idea there was a base in Quezon. He'd have known that. He'd grown up here. There was no military installation here. He decided to voice this. "Quezon doesn't have..." He paused, still breathing hard. "Any military presence."
"Not the UNSC." Linda replied simply. "ONI. Let's keep moving."
"ONI??" Fisk's eyes widened in surprise. He'd never had an encounter with ONI before. Barely knew a thing about them. Now they were headed to a secret ONI base?

"Roger." Fred replied to Linda, and once again, the group was off, headed for...

ONI Delta Station - Underground (Reach)

Alone, she stood in the cold chamber, her freezing, frozen fingers doing their best to type quickly away at a holographic keyboard. Mist hovered from her mouth as she worked in silence, the only sounds being occasional beeps from the device. So many Forerunner artifacts had been lost in this unpleasant war... and now, here, she had one of the last. Something that she felt was important. ONI HQ seemed to think otherwise, having inspected the device themselves, and deeming it worthless, storing it here, in the coldest vaults on Reach. The woman almost laughed at the fact she seemed to be spending more time in the freezing cold opposed to the scorched planet above. Her numb fingers continued their work, despite their physical protests for warmth. That wasn't a luxury she could grant them. Not yet. She'd almost passed the last firewall safeguarding the device. If she could just...

"There." She breathed, her voice shaking as the keyboard turned from a pale golden color to a vibrant green, indicating her success. The hard-light hologram disappeared as the wall in front of her seemed to move out slight, before hissing open. Inside sat the Forerunner artifact, apparently known as 'The Vitiate'. Familiar with basic human vocabulary, she knew that this could help those on the surface in some way against the parasitic entities that threatened their existence.

"You got it?"

Dr. Halsey turned her gaze from the Vitiate to a man who'd just entered the room. He was practically bald, with a few graying hairs along the sides of his head. Usually clean-shaven, he'd grown some rough stubble over the last couple of days. He wore full combat armor, and an MA5C Assault Rifle was clutched in his gloved hands. "The Vitiate is secure." She replied, carefully removing it from the wall and slinging a bag off of her shoulder. "What's it do, again?" The Marine asked. "What it does, Mendez, is impairs its target. Decreases the efficiency and quality of it. Or at least, that's what I'm lead to believe."

Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez cocked a lazy brow. "And it'll... what? Make the Flood get feelings? You're not givin' me a lot to work off of here." Halsey slung the bag back over her shoulder, the Vitiate tucked snugly inside. "All you need to do is escort me back to the surface labs so I can figure out how to activate the Vitiate." She stated. "Try not to get us killed."
"Wouldn't dream of it, ma'am." The CPO replied with a hint of a chuckle. "I'll take point."
Halsey followed Mendez out of the room, pulling her gloves from her coat pockets and slipping them back on, having had to remove them for optimal performance in cracking into the vault. She brushed a strand of silver hair out of her face. Halsey may have seen better years, but despite her age, she was still a beautiful woman. Smooth features, slender body, cold yet attractive eyes, she'd grown used to the stares of men and women around her throughout her life. Most of those people were dead now. Not that it much mattered to her, in the end.
Her thoughts lingered on the possibility of her actually being able to crack open this Forerunner device and utilize it. ONI had called in seventy different experts on the matter, all of which had failed. She'd refused the call initially due to her work with the Spartans and with Cortana, but now, it was her top priority.

"Not sure how you'll activate that, all things considered." Mendez stated ahead of her, almost as though he'd read her mind. They'd spent so much time together over the years, that Halsey was sure he could, in a manner of speaking. He knew her better than almost anyone. Even Jacob, and her own daughter. Halsey shifted her gaze from the hall before them to the back of the Marine's head. "ONI failed in many places, Chief. Except where I was involved." She told him, though she spoke confidence, she wasn't really feeling it. It'd be a miracle if she could manage to use this thing before the Flood overran the planet. To top it all off, she'd only just recently gotten word from the fleet that one of the few people Halsey cared about was in the thick of it all. Her daughter. If this could save her, then she'd go to any lengths to ensure she did.

No matter the cost.

Underground - The Last Corridor
"what an awful day outside... monsters dying... flowers fading... it's days like these when little bitches like you..."
The monster stopped speaking, opening his eyes to look at the dust-covered child in front of him. "Should be-"
He never got to finish his sentence, a black tendril suddenly shooting up from the ground behind him, impaling him through, carefully avoiding his SOUL.
"i..." He struggled to speak, looking down at his fatal wound, before his body faded away, turning into dust, leaving his SOUL hanging in the air. Frisk stared at the black tendril that hung there for a moment, before it suddenly began to twist and form, rising into a tall figure, revealing itself to be someone... familiar, but completely unknown.

Gaster grabbed the SOUL of the annoyingly edgy Sans, attempting to absorb it... but failing. He tried again, but to no avail. "Alternate Universe Underfell a failure as well..." He muttered to himself, crushing the SOUL in his hand. He'd been hoping he could bring his SOUL closer to completion by using another Sans, but this didn't seem to be the case. The voice in his head was correct. The only way to get his SOUL to it's fullest potential was to kill the same Sans and Papyrus that he'd created, not some alternate versions of them.
He glanced over at the child, who stared at him quizzically, unsure of what to do. "Don't mind me." He told her. "Continue with your useless genocide. It won't get you anything, nor anywhere. An endless cycle of torment, loss, and pain. Of course, this particular world is fond of that idea." With that, he faded, his body temporarily glitching as he did so.

"You should trust me more."
"I had to be certain. Despite everything, I still hold a..."
"A what?"
"A fondness for my- er, my experiments."
"Your sons."
"If you wish to use that terminology, then so be it."
"You know what must be done."
"I know. Just give me time."
"I won't give you much."

Gaster looked about at the panels of screens around him, floating aimlessly through the void. Each showed particular events transpiring here or there. Neither Sans nor Papyrus seemed to be in any particular danger for the time being. This was good. If they were killed and he was unable to complete his SOUL. Sans appeared to be napping at a hot dog stand while Papyrus chatted animatedly with Undyne and Freezer on Olympus II. Gaster made a mental note that he'd need to visit there soon... set things straight with Z.

"heya."

Gaster turned slightly, looking back towards a short figure. "Hello, Sans." He replied monotonously. "It's been quite a long time since I've seen you here." Sans shrugged, looking about at the panels. "i know." He stated. "just took a nap and figured... i should figure out why you're doing what you're doing."
"What do you think I'm doing?" The Doctor asked. Sans looked down into the inky blackness for a moment. "i think you're trying to come back. i think you're planning on taking the fragments of your SOUL back from paps and me. i mean, it was always bound to happen eventually, right?" Gaster's twisted grin seemed to curl upward into more of what seemed to be a genuine smile. "Always the intelligent one." He stated. "What you lacked in brawn, you made up for in brains." Sans chuckled. "ironic, considering i'm a skeleton."
"My SOUL nears completion. I'm putting off my pursuit of you and your brother, but not for much longer." He told his 'son'. "I will kill you and take back what I once gave you. Life."
"no you won't." Sans replied, staring back at Gaster. "you're not strong enough for that. besides, you know there's things bigger than either of us at play here. z, scratch, zeliyis, even more either of us know anything about..." The Doctor scowled. "When I complete myself, none of them will stand a chance."
"just sayin'." Sans shrugged. "i should go now. bein' here, even in the sub-conscious is gonna start tearing my mentality into shreds soon. i'd rather a'void' that." He smirked. "people will need me, whether they realize it or not. it's my job to be there for them."

And with that, the skeleton monster faded. Gaster stared at the spot for a moment, before turning back to a particular screen, showing Sans walking away from a hot dog stand. "My life's work..." He muttered to himself. "Despite the mind I've given you, you're still so very very naive."

Whoever was out there could hear them. Volpa knew that much. "We are not alone." the fox like ghost said. Catgirl nodded. "Everyone keep your guard up. Just in case they're hostile." Catgirl said.

"WHO CARES! This is a fight not one of your literal card games, bend the rules if you have to. Screw them even I don't care pull out more cards heck use as many as you want! I don't care all I want is a proper fight with a proper finish....not this pity bone you are toss!" Caulilfa said, as she seemed to argue against Belowski's reasoning as she noted his larger deck still in his gauntlet and desired to do what she could to try and sway Belowski to keep going.

Her pride mattered more than her sore bones.

"Don't see much else to do around here. The sooner I spot what it is I can decide whether to wack it or not." Ogremon replied as he rested his club along his shoulder and before any debate could be made on the move he already began to advance to that object in the sky on the horizon.

Then noises were head, the figure seemed to advance and there was clear signs they had not been alone as Ogremon readied its club and scanned the field. "Come on out you cowards so I can wack you!"

While Toph very much walked along with a literal blind eye, she could easily feel the vibration to Logan's step and knew that he had been limping as he appeared to be the most sluggish of the group.

Well, second most, Toph still had to drag along Y's body with her metal bending.

Either way something seemed to trouble Logan and Toph was not the type to leave her curiosity unanswered. "You okay? You seem to be limping. Got hurt back there?" Toph asked as she referred to the events of the tunnel when she asked how Logan had been.

"Dark Storm!"

"Barrier!"
"Barrier!"
The Heartless fired a volley of dark energy blasts towards the Keyblade pair, who crossed their blades and formed a magical barrier that had double the power each one individually would have as the waves smacked and blasted against it. They were able to deflect the blows, but had remained pinned down as the Heartless Knight fired wave after wave of energy as it tried to overpower the barrier to get to his opponents.

-----

"Right!" Lilac called out as she would quickly dash up the beanstock that Maple generated as she rode on it and began to build both speed and momentum while the Heartless Dragon roars, circling around and preparing a dive on the group while its fire continued to burn at the bean-stock.

It had been prepared to unleash more flames, but then a barrel bomb hit its head from the make-shift ice plane 2 of the Donald triplets rode on which caused it no pain but did provide an opening.

"Oh no you don't! From one Dragon to another....DRAGON CYCLONE!" Lilac called out as she spun around and began to strike the back of the great dragon with multiple high speed enhanced hair whips as the beast roared in irritation and then pain from the consecutive strikes.

Belowski scratched behind his head, lightheartedly laughing to Caulifla. He began to think what he was trying to say to her was going in one ear and out the other. Maybe a demonstration was in order.

“Ah, I see you don’t quite get the vibe I was throwin’ down. Here, imma use the whole deck to fight you, look what happens.”

Belowski took the entire deck into his hand. Suddenly, the lights in his duel disc faded after making a bright beeping noise, indicating his loss. After it did so, the Mokey Mokey smackdown spell card seemed to vanish from the field. The simulation was terminated.

“It’ll automatically say I lost if I do that, so that’s why balance is important man, you never know when your time is gonna run out, so we gotta use it to it’s fullest, just like life, y’a know?”

Doug was quick to stand straight up at the thought of something approaching. First contact was something he never needed to memorize in the blue falcon’s handbook, which he kicked himself for in this situation. Regardless, he took a defensive stance.

“Let’s not look too aggressive everyone!” Doug said. “We just dropped in these guy’s homes, they might think we are the enemies here.”

“Who knows?” Numemon shrugged, his warpaint fully on again. “If they are primitive enough they might worship me like a god.”

“HOW DID YOU FIND PAINT AGAIN?!”

“Trade secret.”

Doug facepalmed, instead ignoring his partner’s antics and focusing on the task at hand.

“GRUUUUUH!!”

“Yeah yeah, I’m not shedding any tears.” Krak dismissed. “Just means I don’t have to waste my time babysitting the brats.”

“But...none of them are kids, Gari?”

“Enough with the banter.” J’s voice dominated. “Let us see what follows.”

Caulifla blinked as she saw Belowski's demonstration as her jaw hung open and her eyes widened considerably; almost to the level of a cartoon character as she had a stupefied expression. Even if Caulifla didn't quite understand how this gauntlet or whatever he used work she was able to put two and two together and she handled it with the reasonable maturity one would expect.

"Oh come on!? That piece of junk cheated me! GAAAA!" Caulifla yelled out as clearly she had been frustrated that of all things technical limitations had been the reason she was denied a true fight to the finish.

Name: Erza

"First and foremost, this isn't teleportation. This is merely a door into my subspace from which I draw my items from. Think of it as a magic closet, all you'd see on the other side is a magical void with various items laying around. It is not used for fast travel or has even that possibility." Erza said as she clarified this power Rex made the claim on as the small portal vanished.

"Second, it is that attitude that is the very reason I am doing this. A true team cannot coexist if members continue to try and bring each other down and only recognize perceived faults rather than work off what they contribute to the group. This will make you both understand the value of the other's skill set and teach you the importance of working as one. So until you two prove yourself capable of that the cuffs stand." Erza explained to the pair with a commanding tone as an aura of intimidation rose around her while she stared them down with those intense eyes of hers.

"Any questions?"

Ah. Hello again, reader. I see you've returned for an insight into the progress of the stories of these beloved characters, yes? Oh, who am I kidding, of course you have. As you can see, my text color has returned to this pearly white. While I could change it for you to read easier in my dialogue, I will maintain its purity while addressing you directly. As you well know by now, my name is Doc Scratch. No, not "Doctor" Scratch. Simply Doc. The other times I have provided an insight into stories, I discussed characters. Who they are. What they mean to their current plots. This time, however, I will be taking a much more... direct approach. I will explain their importance in not only the moment, but the future. Or at least the current future, as that can be altered. While I may have the most power in this story when it comes to the fictional characters, you, dear readers, hold all of the power I could only hope to attain. Safe inside of the Omega Sphere, you continue to write this story, contemplate new and exciting ideas for your respective characters. Oh, how annoyed would those around me be if they were to realize just how futile and pointless their existence truly is. Even outside of their mediums, they're still controlled. Puppets to your will. Irregardless of this fact, I still maintain an aspect of control over each and every one of their narratives, whether it be direct or indirect. Now, I believe I've kept you from the story long enough. I believe we were on... Insert 36, Article 1,412, yes, here it is. Oh, how rude of me, I must explain this system of mine. From your perspective, you're on Page 36, with this being the 1,412th reply. I have a vast library containing anything you can imagine- and that's exactly what feeds this library. The imaginations of you and your fellow collaborators in this epic. Each thought you have is stored here, inside of a book. Hence, why I have a book about this particular account. Originally labeled 'Fiction RP', now changed into 'Convergence: Omniversal Heroes' simultaneously with the vote that changed the name on your online server of discord. I also have two other stories here, though not nearly as detailed nor lengthy as this one. I expect this to change over time as more ideas are made and inserted into the canon of this chronicle. Now... where was I... ah, yes. Mr. Byrd's testament. Here it is. Thank you, reader, for taking your time to listen to me- or in your case, read my proem. Now. Let us progress this tale of omniversal heroes, villains, and everything in-between...

"Well, they seem hostile..."
"Hell is that thing?"
"Some kinda... mutated split-lip?"
"Givin' me the creeps..."
"Ma'am, what do we do?"

Carolina stared down her scope at the large, grotesque, green... thing that was calling out to them. It knew they were there. Probably seen the Marines moving about, getting into position. Doubtful it had seen her... she had her active camouflage activated. The light-bending technology tricked the naked eye, making her appear as though she were invisible.
With that, she decided to move in. This thing was accompanied what appeared to be humans, and while the Marines weren't familiar with this particular creature, he was clearly intelligent, capable of speech. How intelligent... that was up for debate. However, with living humans among it, not appearing disturbed by it in the slightest, that gave her an assurance that it could possibly be an alien from this world. Well, not the world, but this universe...

Stopping several meters in front of the group, she replied to her Marines; "Stay on your guard. Let's see how they react to some friendly contact..." With that, she deactivated her active camouflage, her body suddenly appearing in front of the group. She stood tall, easily far larger than the majority of the group by a couple of feet. She rested her BR55 Battle Rifle on her shoulder, narrowing her eyes behind her visor as her gaze flitted over each member, before addressing the one who'd called them out.

"Who the fuck are you?"

"Oh yeah, real friendly..." Church muttered to Carolina.

For the most part, I will admit, this particular plotline went under even my radar for quite some time. I mean, look at the above insert. Multiverse 1738, Timeline 772, of course it would. It was merely a doomed timeline from a much larger, much more expansive hyperverse. However, with the introduction of Agent Carolina and her artificial intelligence into this world, it seemed to be of some type of interest. The crystal that brought them here was not my doing. In fact, I believe it was Zeliyis, for whatever schemes he may be hatching. Despite my insurmountable knowledge, I do not know the answer to my own questions. All will be revealed in time, I suppose, but this does make things more exciting. I always did love a good mystery. Now, several other characters of interest of intruded upon this. I know this is not of my own doing. Possibly an intrusion by Zeliyis once again. This rag-tag group of misfits was redirected from their original destination, though of course, this could have simply been a cosmic coincidence. Their future at this point is rather unclear, shrouded in possibilities, but with no conceptual outcome at the moment. Will all of them even survive the coming trials? It is doubtful. Regardless, I will maintain a vigilant eye on these events. They're certainly... entertaining.

"I'm fine."

The Wolverine snapped at Toph, coming to a stop with a slight wince. He let out a sigh, placing his hands on his hips. He hadn't meant to snap at her as he had, but he was annoyed. Was annoyed the right word? He would never admit he was scared, but if he was being honest with himself, he'd never been more scared in his life. That girl that had attacked them earlier, with the flower, they were clearly far beyond anything he'd faced before. Well, maybe not, but in his current condition?
It was almost funny. Just days ago he'd been staring down the barrel of his own pistol, an adamantium bullet slugged inside, about to take his own life. Now, he didn't want to die. Why? He couldn't figure it out. He wanted to do something, but he wasn't quite sure. And why was he bothered over his rudeness to the kid?

"Sorry." Logan finally said after a moment of silence was held among the group. "I just..." He paused, thinking of what to say next. "I'm fine." He repeated, and with that, continued to walk, his mind wandering back to Chuck, which only hastened to anger Logan even more.

The heavy involvement of Zeliyis' force here in the HeroSquad universe was certainly unexpected on my part. I was aware that Gwen Stacy had arrived here far before the others- in fact, she was the first ever crystal transport. I imagine it was a test done by Zeliyis after I provided him with them... what was it Z referred to them as... ah, yes. Alpha Crystals, called so for their innate ability to seamlessly traverse the Alpha Sphere without hassle, controlled meticulously, and only arriving where intended if the user has a clear destination in mind. Otherwise, the jump is quite random. I designed these myself for Zeliyis once upon a time. This particular plot doesn't exactly engage me, I must admit. I'm far more invested elsewhere. However, I will upkeep my word, and reveal a little about the future of these characters. James Howlett, or more commonly referred to as 'Logan' or 'Wolverine' if you're feeling nostalgic, is set to fail. Every leg of his journey is bound to crush him. He will never achieve his goals, and despite so many times he'll come close to victory, it will always be snagged from him. This is something he's suffered from for his entire life, and will continue to suffer from. The only sliver of solace he'll ever get is through his companion, who offers him a chance at self-redemption. Toph Beifong is indeed an interesting young lady. A larger player than I originally anticipated when I convinced Zeliyis to include her into his game. I knew she would be valuable, but she has proven to be far more than I could have imagined. Surviving- no, the correct term would be 'dominating' -an encounter with the sadist, I imagine she'll do well enough against the titan himself. She wouldn't survive on her own, but she's proven extremely versatile thus far. Peter Parker, the ideal humble, yet heroic character. He's as powerful as he is clever, and mind you, he's far more clever than most would give him credit for. His future is certainly bright. Unfortunately for you, dear readers, My spiel must come to an end. I've over-talked here, and we have other stories to engage in. Shall we?

Current Location: The Abyss (Multiverse N/A, Timeline N/A, Tagline: "The Void")

Prolegomenon---

"Of course..."
Gaster stood over nothing, hunched over, surrounded by plenty of floating panels, all showing different current events.
"It will take time, I assure you..."
His eyes were closed, the crack along his head closed up slightly, clearly in a state of healing.
"Your insistence doesn't help..."
A black ooze slowly dripped from his form, falling into the endless abyss below.
"We will speak again..."
His eyes opened, and he looked forward through his left eye. He stood there for a few moments, unmoving, staring forward, before speaking. "I feel as though... yes... hm..." He cocked his head slightly to the side. "I believe you've made a mistake." He stated, his eye widening slightly in anticipation. "Viewing me in the void?" He chuckled darkly. "Even you must realize..."

Ah, yes... I believe it is time to leave. I must admit, I still do not fully understand the properties of the v̷o̶i̴d̶, but- hang on... No... My goodness... I have made a m̷i̸s̶t̷a̵k̸e̶ ̷indeed, this isn't g̸o̴o̵d̸ ̷at all. If The Doctor managed to gain access to English Manor, the C̵r̷y̵s̶t̷a̵l̴ ̵C̵o̴r̵e̶... events may transpire that would be unwanted for more than just myself, but for everything in the omniverse. Unfortunately, it seems he's managed to hijack my omniscience- how far? It's not clear. Perhaps only related to the void, but m̶a̶y̸b̷e̵...
...
I s̷e̷e̴... The Doctor is relentless in his p̸u̴r̶s̷u̴i̴t̷. Let this be an example to all who desire to enter the void... or so much as intrude upon the Doctor's privacy... his fall will come, but he's of little concern to the majority of our players... for now. He managed to drain some of my energy before I departed, so I'm feeling particularly exhausted. If you'll e̸x̷c̷u̷s̵e̸ ̷me, dear reader, I must end this session. We will return another time to this madness. I must recover now. Thank you for taking your t̸i̶m̸e̷ ̵to read all of this.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Rex Raptor
Location: Wilds (yet another cave)

Rex was about to say yet another witty remark to Erza, only to catch himself. Wait. If I say anything like that back, wouldn’t I be proving her point? Witches and their mind games... he gave Keda a ‘this is all your fault’ look and grunted, turning the other way from the caveman and his mutt.

As Erza finished her speech, an almost visible angry aurora danced around her, her anger could practically be felt from a mile away. He reactively shuffled a few steps back, his expression turned to dread quick, blinking a few times before sighing. Great...how do I stop her from being so angry? Hmm...

“Uhhhh....Hey Erza. You are also a part of the team, so why don’t you get involved in this group activity too...? Heh...”

Rex gestures to the handcuffs and gave a suave expression, half out of seriousness and half out of trying desperately to diffuse the situation, obviously wanting to use this as an excuse to get close to her. If he had to be in handcuffs, might as well be with the girl.

Name: Doug Duem & Numemon
Location: Haloverse, Saudi Arabia

Doug was met with the sight of an uncloaking mass, a woman by the looks of her alongside the rest of her marines. This surprised the falcon blue tamer, as he saw her put her mysterious gun on her shoulder. As she opened her mouth, vulgarly addressing the crew. Doug was instantly shocked while Numemon was already impressed. He rushed to cover Numemon’s ‘ears’ in response and frowned at her.

“The profanity...there are minors present!” Doug exclaimed. “A sign of strong personality is to refuse any temptation to curse!”

Numemon mimicked her posture, hoisting a grappling gun to his left ‘shoudler.’ “You f**king introduce yourself first.”

“NUMEMON!”

Name: Belowski
Location: Camelot grounds

Belowski didn’t seem bothered at all, his laid back demeanor unwavering despise the saiyan’s ever increasing fits of anger.

“Everythin’ has a balance man, and so does duelin’. It has more limitations, like I can’t draw until I end my turn, or can’t do anythin’ until I discard a card once I have more than seven. Just like the world it has a flow, and just like us, it has limitations. Isn’t the point of battling so fiercely to try an beat your opponent with the best you can dish out, despite any limitations you might have?”

Trying to speak her language with fighting, Belowski put his deck back into a side fold of his duel disc, storing it out of harm’s way. Suddenly, and armored guard fell from a higher floor to the dirt next to them, sound asleep. Belowski blinked at him, looking up, seeing the whole perimeter of guards sound asleep from the fight. Belwoski chuckled.

“Looks like their feelin’ the Mok.”

Noah looked at the ticked off Caulifla, then back at Belowski. The girl evidently had superhuman abilities, but alas, it appeared she’d been unable to defeat the duelist- even with the technical limitations of the duel disk he wielded.

Noah looked for another moment, before letting out an amused chuckle, which turned into a laugh. He then walked over to Belowski, though he was facing Caulifla. Her hairstyle still threw him off a bit, but he managed to make eye contact.

“It’s a bad idea to underestimate a duelist,” Noah informed her, before turning to Belowski, placing a hand on his shoulder. “Belowski, I’m impressed with you. You make the Big Five look like amateurs. I can’t say I’ve seen spell cards like the ones you used before- I think we have a lot to discuss, partner.”

Noah tried his best to act genuinely impressed- and to be honest, he sort of was. He wouldn’t consider himself a dueling connoisseur or anything, but he could tell the guy had talent. Maybe he wasn’t totally clueless after all.

Maxwell
Maxwell watched as Frisk channeled whatever strange power was within her into Lily. He only hoped she was aware of how strong the curse set upon Lily truly was- not even the notebook was capable of freeing her from her fossilized prison. He watched as she went to work, but as he’d expected, it didn’t appear to be having any effect. He could feel the strength in whatever energy she was emitting into the statue- it was powerful stuff, but he doubted it would be even close to enough.

His theory was proven correct when Frisk stumbled back, looking a bit dizzy from the amount of magic she’d used. He stared at his still stone sister- not a trace of movement, nor life for that matter. Looking directly at the statue was easily one of the most challenging things he’d ever done- it was like a reminder hanging over him, constantly saying ‘it’s your fault. It’s your fault. You did this to her.’

After a few more moments of silence, it was obvious that it hadn’t worked. He stood, approaching the statue, getting a closer look.

...Nope, definitely still fossilized.

“...I appreciate the attempt,” he told Frisk. “But the curse is powerful. It’s beyond even my notebook. He… he made sure this wouldn’t be easy. He didn’t hold back.”

Nanashi & Dagda
Path to Camelot

“You know what?” Dagda said, suddenly stopping in his tracks. “I’ll meet you there, kid. I’m going to go take care of something. Try not to take too long.”

With that, the god suddenly faded away, a pulse of green aura shooting out of the ground where he’d been standing as he disappeared. Nanashi stared at the spot that his mentor of sorts had once stood. Well, he had no intentions of being slow in the first place anyways.

He got an idea, suddenly raising his gauntlet and tapping on the smartphone held within it. Suddenly, blue light flashed from the phone, and a figure appeared, morphing and taking on the form of a demon- one he’d summoned already since his arrival. Suparna.

“You summoning me so many times in one day is tiring me!” Suparna shouted, flapping her wings excessively loudly as a means of intimidation. “I demand a sacrifice!”

“Later,” Nanashi replied. “Right now, I’m gonna need a ride to that castle over there.”

He pointed to Camelot in the distance. Suparna twisted her neck to view it, before gasping.
“Ah, what a nice looking place you’ve discovered, Nanashi! They’ll certainly have a nice birdbath for a majestic being such as me to relax!”

“Yes, I’m sure they will. Now, let’s pick up the pace,” Nanashi stated, walking over and mounting the avian demon. Suparna flapped her wings, quickly going airborne and gliding in the direction of Camelot Castle.

The Hunter
Specter's Ship Pipotron Chamber

The one hooded figure was joined by two more. So what? The Hunter didn't care. Even their strange lookin' sword keys didn't spook off the grizzled soldier. They were far from the scariest thing he'd seen, just a bunch of...clowns, like Hiro called them! Some odd circus troupe. "Sorry mister Hiro. Ain't leavin' you this time. And about Kale...That's the problem. She ain't here."

Though the Chief, who had just returned to the room, attempted to convince the Hunter otherwise. To pick up and get out of there. Now why would the Hunter do that? Hiro was his buddy. He'd been on this crazy trip with Hiro from the start. And now that they just met up and they wanted to break off again? It wasn't happening- not now.

And luckily, that wasn't his only ally in the situation.

The slayer pulled himself off the ground. And once the Chief filled him in? Was already raring to go once again. Clacking his gun and pointing it at the party of clowns. The Hunter mirrored it, unfolding the saw, pointing it at the main cloaked key-wielder, the one who had summoned his friends from wherever they came from. "That arse was beatin' on Hiro. Let's take him out first. Come on you clowns! Whatever you have ain't scaring me or the slayer here!"

What were these shadows going to even do? Have snakes burst from their faces? Shoot fire? The Hunter had faced larger and scarier foes than some cloaked clowns...He liked that moniker Hiro gave them. Clowns.

Eileen the Crow, Ridley
Central Yharnam

A panic had set in within the group. They had detected someone or something...and not what lay ahead of them. Something was amiss, more so then before. The air was disturbed, a flapping of distant wings...some oversized crow, perhaps? But why would a crow-

Something briefly flew past the moon. A large shadow cast over the party. And whatever it was- It helped spook Eileen just as much as the rest of them. "Dear lord." Running in recklessly to whatever draconic thing had been bothering the mobs would endanger them all. She was wracking her old hunter mind, thinking of some where- some way they could reach the sewers and avoid whatever flew above them in the process. And then, it clicked.

An old dingy alley. Cramped, but it ran parallel to whatever calamity was happening on the other street, and would provide enough cover to delay whatever lurked above them. Delay enough to rush down to the sewers. The said alley was conveniently sitting in front of the group, barred by a somewhat rusted gate. Not enough to stop the Crow.

"This way!" She shouted, dashing into the gate. It gave her little resistance, as she propped it open for the others. "It's too cramped back here for it to get us!"

And the shadow watched these vermin, these pointless bits of flesh squirm from high above. They proved far more interesting than the misshapen humans and creatures that were in no short supply within the city. But perhaps this odd crowd were not so pointless after all...Running, however, only proved more entertaining to their new found stalker. So they'd run, and he'd let them think they got away.

Yes, yes...To their sewer, where'd they think themselves safe. But this new tool he had procured made him adaptable above all else...Oho, this test would be interesting indeed. So yes, the little rats would run to their sewer.

For the great predator would hunt them down.

Raiden
Camelot Castle Training Grounds

Raiden was beginning to regret not stopping this fight sooner. The great, giant marshmallow and the girl clashed, destroying a swath of the walls, . And thus, this fight had officially gone too far. Though it seemed the boy was done anyways, but the spiky haired girl was taking issue with that. Raiden couldn't help but sigh as he began to walk over towards the battlefield. Some blue haired kid walking over to the group, but it also wasn't enough to stop Raiden coming on over.

"Hey!" The cyborg called out, stepping past where the Mokey had menaced moments before. "Look, I don't know if you two have been paying attention, but you...well, look!" The destroyed wall. The sleeping individuals scattered about, except for the blue haired kid. How he hadn't conked out, Raiden wasn't sure- nor did he have concern for it in the moment. "I understand you two were having fun with that. Or, whatever you got out of that...But I think this is about where the fight should end."

Raiden shook his head. He doubted the girl would step down, but the kid seemed rather laid back enough to step down. Probably would without Raiden's involvement, honestly. So why did Raiden care?...Maybe he didn't want to see kids get in deep trouble. He had a child of his own, and his childhood wasn't exactly fun and games. So if kids were just being irresponsible...they didn't need to get that much punished, right?

Jetstream Sam
Camelot Woods

Whatever had brought the drowsiness had stopped. Perhaps it was some sort of "curse" or "punishment" for not readily going with their new employer. Pah, wasn't enough to deter Sam nor would it be enough to convince either of the other two. In Sam's mind at least. Still, Bowser was evidently the most outwardly vocal about his disdain for Dagda.

"Well now Bowser, why don't we give our new employer benefit of the doubt, hmm? Surely this drowsy wave was mere coincidence." Sam was more on the mark than his sarcasm would make one think. Still, in the context of the situation he was merely trying to defuse Bowser. "Besides- Lucky for us, Dagda is going the place I wanted to go in the first place. So let us head to that castle, hmm? Fate awaits!"

Sam began to trace the steps of Dagda and his demon summoning advertiser, despite both not being physically present. Everyone was going to the castle, and those two did seem to know what they were doing...you see, Sam simply didn't like working under anyone, or serving. But to follow as equals? That, Sam could agree with.

Kiran
Camelot Castle Town

Goldenwalk...Up in flames. Assaulted by a six armed demon leading a crowd of horned soldiers into a strongly one sided battle. Destruction rained upon the skylines, razed by bright lasers and raw energy...Was this what had befallen the city after their departure? Was this some grim view, or simple nightmare? As a beam shot into the sky, a great wormhole began to tear itself open, revealing surges of forces, more upon more of the grim bringers of death descending into the city he called his home below...

And he was awake, with a gasp. What...what had happened? He remembered...Hot dog stand. Then sleep. Which was why he was looking up at the sky.

For a moment, he was hoping he'd pull himself up to realize he had fallen asleep on a hill in the park, and that his reality was safely grounded. No weird hotdog selling skeletons. No cyborgs sword fighting in front of a blue "hedgehog" king with an irrational name. No Bro, and his enraging puppet. Kiran breathed in...and out. Picked himself up.

Hot dog stand in the middle of a castle town, with a skeleton behind the counter.

"Damn it." Kiran sighed. He still felt a bit lethargic, but wasn't about to waste time laying about in the now very sleepy castle town. A cursory gaze revealed Bro propped against a wall, catching some sleep as well. He was sure the bachelor didn't want to be woken up- nearly no ever one did -But the two had some sleuthing to do.

Kiran tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey. Hey Bro."

Sarah, the Flamebringer, and Samus
Mountainside Conflict Aftermath

Jin held up a blue quill.

"That's our guy." Samus knew that trademark blue. "Not sure what he's doing here. As Falcon has said, Sonic's from a modern world- but he could've been brought here on similar circumstances as us. Knowing how Sonic rubs elbows though, he's probably more aware of this situation than any of us are."

"I'm...still really confused." Sarah admitted. She was still struggling to pull all these things together. Anthropomorphic hedgehog...miniature moons...King Arthur? Where did it all tie together? Lucky for the confused hero, Samus was willing to tie things together.

"Sonic the Hedgehog is a blue, anthropomorphic hedgehog as Falcon has said. I assume he got that name due to the speed he can move at, which is likely supersonic. His arch-nemesis is a Doctor Robotnik, or 'Eggman'. I believe Sonic uses his abilities to thwart the plots of Eggman." Samus had basically rounded it in a easy to digest format for the now enlightened Sarah.

"Ooooh, he's like a superhero!...But a hedgehog!" And those lines were suddenly were well connected. Though was quickly undone by the Flamebringer bringing a genuine point.

"Hero or not, I still do not understand what we are doing. Do we wait for this blue hedgehog to show up? Follow the line?"

"That's our choice. As a group." Samus answered. "We can have someone wait out here, hoping Sonic comes back this way and notices us. We can follow the line, though I doubt we'll hit any civilization before nightfall, and if there were that many monsters in the daylight, there would be even more in the night."

"I think we should stay here. We don't want to go wandering around at night- worst case, we'll just follow in the morning." Sarah said her two cents, and the Flamebringer once again followed with hers.

"We should follow the line. Who is to say the Hedgehog won't speed by us again? Besides, we can intimidate the monsters- we destroyed their King." She was clearly cocky over their victory, but she did have something of a decent point.

"Falcon, Robin, Lucina." Samus spoke. "Lora, Jin. Opinions, stay here or follow this line?"

Priscilla, Jackson, Quint
Goldenwalk Streets

Zeliyis...Some sort of lord, or entity that was primarily responsible for the assault. And under Zeliyis, was a Cecil. And under this Cecil were these soldiers. Logical lines to draw and connect. These guys were footsoldiers- and Priscilla would guess were the weaker members in the army of "Zeliyis". So what did that make "Cecil" and "Zeliyis"? Even stronger, or just very good talkers or tacticians...in any case, there was a clear goal here- take out the head of command.

Though Thor and Rocket thoroughly distracted them. Talking about a Thanos, some sort of killer geologist? Honestly, most of what Rocket and Thor said was more or less non-sequiturs. Though interesting non-sequiturs, she'd grant it. However this tyrant geologist planned on killing half of all life, Thor had an axe that could stop him, so...that was a plus. For Thor and Rocket mainly. Priscilla and the others really didn't have much stake in it.

"So these guys take orders from a Cecil, who takes orders from this Zeliyis guy. So we find those two and stop them...theoretically. If they are holed up where those guys broke in, we might find both this Cecil and Zeliyis." Neither of them seemed like a big worry to Priscilla. They had Thor- who so far had proven to be similar, if not equal, to the famed god himself. If they had a god on their side...what was the worry?

...Perhaps she should've asked about the relation...

But the group was actually starting to move now. The battered van left in the background, alongside dark streetlamps and crumbled asphalt. Whatever scraps they had left had been scooped up by mostly Rocket, to put towards...whatever he was doing. Did he plan on building weapons with it? Probably, but he didn't seem to have the tools to do so...

Meanwhile, Jackson and Quint were debating the 'psychopathic geologist'. "I'm fairly sure he's a tyrant who wants stones. Like precious minerals and stuff."

"But you can use rocks to kill people. And he wants kill half of all those, so obviously that's where geology comes into this."

"But...Okay, Thor, you got to answer this." Jackson said, "This Thanos guy is a tyrant and geologist. Does he kill people for minerals, or does he kill people with rocks?"

Priscilla could only shake her head at that. But if they kept moving, she didn't care what stupid question came up.

But ahead of them, atop skyscrapers, handfuls of Zeliyis soldiers were perched. Railguns with scopes aimed down at the streets. "Fire upon all who attempt to pass towards the relay station." One of the soldiers repeated what Cecil had told them.

The only sign that the group on the streets could see that the soldiers were awaiting them were small, twinkling blue lights. That easily blended in with the night sky...

Silver Scythe
Goldenwalk Business District

The Scythe only glared as the mysterious scorpion man disappeared into the smoke. "Damn bug, I'll tear off his tail and...!" What...would she use the tail for? Whatever...he wasn't even here to hear her threats at this point. She needed to get her angry ramblings down in advance...Nathan and Gwen asking if she was alright distracted her from her ideas once more.

"Me? I'm fine. My armor is a bit too scuffed up to say it was an accident..." The white, silvery sheen it had once held had been scraped off, becoming a far more poignant steel sheen. Other sections still scorched by Nathan's earlier blasts of plasma. "I'm too invested now to just walk away though."

She got a good look at Gwen's other buddies. Nathan seemed like your normal american young adult. 'Blue Boy' as she had dubbed X seemed to have grey, almost metallic skin, segmented by thick black lines...And the 'Laser Guy' seemed like a normal american adult, but his bulky suit and laser gun seemed admittedly...not so.

"You...Laser guy." Gordon was the most interesting of the three. "Where'd did you come from and help? You were helpful, but is this like...an enemy of my enemy type thing?"

She could question Nathan and X later, this guy...not only interesting, but the largest enigma. The other two were at least allied with the Spider woman. So who was this guy...A bounty hunter? Hopefully not. Their Europe escapades had likely netted a few people who wanted them dead or at the least captured...

Hornet
Arendelle Mountains

Hornet didn't expected that. Likely, no one did. Though Hallownest and travelling the multiverse was good for teaching unexpected events and how to adapt on your feet. Sliding beneath the needles, she readied her daggers and tossed them at the knight- though they seemed to not do much to the Knight. Though Alpha was calling for a lightning rod combination. He was always enthusiastic about those, wasn't he?

Her needle had still been tied with a thread, creating a clear line in the snow dredged mountain. Grasped in her hand, she reclaimed the needle that had been tossed by the gravity. But for lightning rod...she needed a different thread. Constructed of a light metal. But Hornet couldn't just sit back and do nothing while rethreading- The others still needed help.

"Give me a moment to prepare, Alpha." She said, pulling out the buzzsaw device once more. It had served well against the Dee horde, but against this knight...likely little more than a distraction. Still, she kicked it off, the saw roaring through the slush at the Knight.

And the needle was ready.

"Be ready, Alpha!" Hornet called out, tossing the needle at the Knight once more. Hopefully the buzzsaw had kept it busy enough to finish the combo.

The Soldier, Brian Decker
City of Mercy

The thrashing monster had sent the Soldier spiraling off into the sand. In front of a highly disturbed Decker. "Uh..."

Though the Soldier had hardly realized the agent as he picked himself up. "Damn you Merasmus, and your impervious evil dogs!"

A blast of flames had consumed it, though Soldier hadn't questioned where. Decker, however, did- and it seemed to originate from a child with a severe burn scar on their face. And his confusion. Was still. Building.

A sudden yell surprised Decker even further. It was from the Soldier, who was back on his feet and charging forth with his shovel. "SCREEEEEAMING EAGLES!!"

He began to whack away at the ogretail alongside Conagher, though didn't notice how his blunt hits were doing little but the side hits were clearly cutting into it...

Still. Decker watched the spectacle with increasing incredulously. He took out his flask and shook it around. He...He did finish it all, right? He raised the flask to his lips, no alcohol coming from it.

Damn.

He really needed more to drink.

Líf
The Wilds Village

Nothing. And then a long drawn out sigh. Another puff of ghastly air. "So be it. I was cordial before, but I'm afraid you've forced my hand." He pulled the blade of Sökkvabekkr out, it's edge alight with purple flames. "The sun in the sky...When it sets over the mountains, a life will be claimed. And when it sets again, another will be claimed. This will continue. Until you pledge your allegiance to my banner, or...there is none left to pledge." Líf was quiet as he walked away.

The cohort of the dead...The village only held a paltry amount of people, but kingdoms were not rebuilt in a day. Their deaths would bolster little, but that little was only part of the whole. Of course...if Hel even got these souls. Something was amiss in the worlds...Would those he kill here even matter towards those he cared for?...No. It didn't matter. He would serve.

It was his duty. Not just to Hel...Everyone he knew.

And for her.

Commander Cecil
Goldenwalk City Streets

"Hmm." A soulless consciousness...How a flower could ever be related to a human child...An approximation of a human child at the least. Nevermind. Chara said to not push, and thus he would not. To keep her in line would gain Scorpio's favor. Though he was, once again, aware of the fact he was scarcely keeping her in line. Was that a simple illusion, keeping her in line? "Very well. Thank you for the explanation."

He turned from Chara to his troop. Mechanical arm waving for his troops. "Let us move out."

And so they marched out. A quiet march down a ruined business street. The lights had gone out some time ago- the relay station kept online by independent power, sourced from generators they had brought. The big office towers slowly faded out to shop streets, which were mostly quiet...

Mostly.

A man in dirty clothes, clutching a bottle. Originally grumbling vague sounds, as the troop marched forward, they gleaned his attention. "Gah! Demons on the streets, taking children..." His sudden anger and fear did little to amuse Cecil. The drunkard throwing the bottle, shattering in front of the troop, seemed to be his breaking point.

A snap of Cecil's finger, the troops took aim and fired. Fired until the man was reduced to burnt scraps and flesh, and his random drunken shouts ceased.

"...Tell me, Chara. Are all humans foolish like that? Do they all rebel against a system they are all hopeless against?"

Cecil wasn't sure if Chara was human or simply feigning it...The flower being her sibling brought up questions, though he was unwilling to push that envelope further at the moment.

Frisk
Far East, City of Mercy

Her SOUL faded, sliding back into her chest before disappearing completely. Her head swiveled about to face Maxwell as she raised a sleeve to her face to wipe a bead of sweat from her forehead. "You never mentioned it was a curse. I wouldn't have bothered if I'd known. Curses counter-act Determination." Frisk stated, sitting back down beside the other kid, snatching up another slice of pizza. "So why's she like this, anyway?" She asked. "Some guy made a curse on her, and I'm guessing it's because you did something to him. The best punishment is always hurting something they love." She told him matter-of-factly.

Her mind wandered on the properties of his particular notebook. It had the power to create anything, but the curse prevented it from working on his sister. She would have suggested time travel, but she was certain he'd tried that already. He'd probably tried everything she could think up, so the best possible solution? It was probably to work things out with this guy Maxwell spoke of. The man who'd originally laid the curse. If anybody could lift it, it was the caster.

Bro
Camelot Castle - Town

The eldest Strider brother didn't move after Kiran had attempted to get his attention, instead continuining to sit on the hard earth, back against a stone wall, his arms crossed, kamina shades slid slightly down the bridge of his nose, revealing a sliver of his eyes, which were open, and staring back at Kiran. He could almost see the color of Bro's eyes, which appeared to be a deep shade of orange before he pushed the shades up the bridge of his nose, completely concealing his eyes as before. With that, he got to his feet, bending his head at several different angles to pop his neck, which proved to be successful as a multitude of cracks could be heard. "What's up?" Bro asked simply, now twirling his torso from side-to-side, stretching out his back, and looking toward the sky. Once he finished there, he turned his attention to the hot dog stand, to find it was now vacant. "Wait, hold that though, bro." Bro interrupted Kiran before he'd even began, putting a finger up to silence him. "Where'd that skeleton guy go? I'm willing to bet he was the one who put us to sleep."

Sans, however, was not the one who'd induced a state of extreme drowsiness unto the two unsuspecting characters, and was now watching a cyborg storm over to a tipsy kid and a woman with spiked green hair, who seemed pretty pissed about something. The skeleton simply stood to the side, his bony hands resting in the pockets of his basketball shorts, mainly due to his jacket being left behind back in the Labyzinth. All he had now was a ketchup-stained white shirt covering his torso. He would have changed into a cleaner shirt if he'd known he was getting sucked into a multiverse of madness, but unfortunately, nobody dropped him a memo.
The cyborg, who's name was Raiden, a friend of Solid Snake, if Sans remembered correctly, was giving the pair some choice words, mainly pointing out the care of the castle they'd had, or lack there-of. Kid had a point, place looked pretty crappy. Denizens were beginning to wake all about, a few citizens stumbling about as though disoriented. The skeleton deduced it had something to do with that kid. His laid back attitude, the blast of energy he'd felt earlier, those cards he held alongside that disk... Sans found it quite easy to deduce the kid had played some sort of role in this fiasco. The energy he felt off the girl was different than the one that had wiped out Camelot, and Raiden made it clear these two had been the ones battling.

Oh well. Kids had their own problems to solve, and Sans had hotdogs to sell. He turned from the trio to a hotdog stand that stood high and mighty (about a whopping 9 feet to the tip-top), and settled himself behind the counter, brushing a few flakes of snow from the counter-top. Most of his earlier customers back in the square where he'd left Bro and Kiran had come to this part of Camelot to see the battle. While it was over, there were still plenty of people here, and after having such a nice nap, it was doubtful many could resist a mouth-watering dog to fill their grumbling stomachs.
And with that, Sans had asserted his business in Camelot, which was sure to be booming in just a few minutes time.

Spider-Gwen, Gordon Freeman
Goldenwalk - Business District

"You...Laser guy."

Gordon looked up from his Gravity Gun, having been inspecting for any signs of damage- which none were present. The young woman in battered silver armor was addressing him by what was presumably his new nickname again. 'Laser Guy' wasn't the worst label to have, but it certainly wasn't as motivational a nickname as 'The One Free Man', or something along those lines, as the Vortugaunts often referred to him. He stared back into her eyes through the lens of his smart glasses, his green eyes piercing into hers as she asked him her inquiry. She was curious as to his origin here. His reasoning. He had no satisfactory answers he could give. He knew probably just a tad more than she did. His purpose here was... well, it was beyond his control. He was simply a pawn and he knew it, even if he felt he was a 'Free Man'.

All heads seemed to turn to him upon this question, though he maintained his gaze upon the Silver Scythe, tucking the Gravity Gun onto his back, allowing his hands some time away from handling destructive objects. He assumed these folks were his allies now, so he may as well appear non-threatening to them. As an answer to Celice's question, he gave a simple shrug, as if to silently say; "sure, you could say that". With that, he turned his gaze from her, looking about. This particular section of the city, whatever city this may be, was in ruins, but he could hear someone- or something -in the distance.

"Wow, you really don't talk much." Gwen blinked, staring at Gordon, who rose a finger to his lips, indicating for the group to fall silent. The Ghost Spider, being herself, still spoke. "What is it? Do you hear something? Wait- I do too." She whispered loudly to Gordon before craning her neck, screwing up her face to listen intently at... whatever it was the two were hearing, before her face lit up, relief washing over it. "Oh, this is awesome. Guys, I think I recognize those voices. James, that awesome little girl, Pete-er, I mean, Spider-Man..."

The Freeman had no idea who those people she'd just listed off were, but it was clear they were allies of some sort. He wasn't sure how she could be sure, he could only faintly hear them, but if they were friendlies, he didn't need to whip his crowbar out and bash some heads in. Not yet, at least.

Chara, Flowey
Goldenwalk - City Streets

He was coming to a realization.

An understanding.

He'd killed senseless more times than he cared to remember. Slaughtering everyone and everything he'd ever known for his own amusement, solely due to his own boredom and desire for a different story. He'd gone through the same paces so many times... but in the end, he'd been stopped. The Smiley Trashbag had convinced him to let the story continue past the point he'd always reset. That led to Frisk falling into the Underground, and he'd lost his power forever.
She had gone through the same thing he had, and in the end, it was the same idiot who stopped him, who stopped her. He had become so numb to positive emotions, without a SOUL, he couldn't fully experience them. There were few emotions he could actually comprehend in this state. Anger, satisfaction, greed, depression... and fear. He'd had his first full dosage of fear in a long, long time earlier. Chara had... terrified him. Her senseless slaughter... what she was about to do to that child... He hated Asgore for it, so would he be wrong to let her get away with it? She wasn't the Chara he'd once known. The girl he'd played in the flowerbed with, eating chocolate, scaring each other, stealing mom and dad's video camera to play with it... that was so long ago. Now, the two best friends were reunited, but it was nothing like Flowey had dreamed of.

His form shivered slightly as he felt one of his petal's brush against Chara's sweatshirt. The same sweatshirt he'd given her from his own closet. Her clothes had been simply dirty rags when she'd fallen underground, but she'd never explained why. He could make guesses, more educated ones now, about her mysterious past before her time as princess.
He didn't feel comfortable around her. He was terrified. What if he upset her? She'd killed him so many times before, forcing Frisk's hand. He hadn't seen it the first few times, but after some time, he could see her form lingering behind the child, whispering encouragement in her ear.
He'd felt so betrayed, yet here, she claimed he was the traitor. He hadn't followed suit with their plan. Even now, Flowey had to admit it was a sick plan. Barbaric. Senseless. That day... he felt a knot twist in his stem at the thought of it, and quickly put that painful memory aside. It seemed they'd been walking. Where? He had no idea. He hadn't been paying attention for a while now. All he truly wanted to do, for years upon years, timelines upon timelines, was to go back. Go back to when he was Asriel Dreemurr. Convince Chara to drop her grudge. To grow up with him. To be best friends forever. To live as a happy family...

"...Tell me, Chara. Are all humans foolish like that? Do they all rebel against a system they are all hopeless against?"

Flowey's thoughts were interrupted by Cecil's musings toward his 'sister', if he could even call her that any more. The flower turned his face to look up at her. She was grinning widely, staring at a pile of what looked like... Flowey swallowed. Humans didn't turn to dust. They were a lot messier...
"Humans are pathetic." Chara stated matter-of-factly, her tone dry. "Insistent blights that intend to infest everything they touch. Cruel and belligerent, twisted and worthless..." Her voice was laced with heavy venom as she continued to smile sadistically at what had once been a living person. "Foolish is just one of the many terms that can be used to describe them. All they do is take, but give nothing in return. They're selfish and repulsive. So to answer your question, Cecil, I'd say yes. Every human is the same, in the end. Just another corpse for the pile."

Flowey shivered yet again. He knew what she was thinking about. She was thinking about her past... whatever humanity had done to her to deserve such malice and loathing... he'd asked her only once about her life on the surface. She'd told him it wasn't a happy story, and asked him not to push for more to it. He loved her enough not to pursue it. Even now, he still didn't push for it. Maybe it was mostly the fear of her killing him, but he still cared about her... more than anything...
Silently, the prince made a promise to himself. If he ever found a way to bring Chara back- the real Chara... he wouldn't rest until he'd done everything in his power to see it through.

No matter the cost.

Name: Kyuseishu, Gilgamesh
Location: Marseille

As Gilgamesh stood at the stop of the town's city council, he tapped the edge of his spear with one of his multiple arms, and wiped away stained blood from one of his curved blades with another as a bored expression was on his face. Needless to say the warrior & weapon's collector took no enjoyment in watching energy tendrils code the planet as they drained information into the Infinity Rift. His eyes focused on the aerial Kyuseishu who maintained the opening but otherwise just floated over the city...looking down upon it like the rather smug "savior" he convinced himself he was. Gilgamesh cared little about that all he did know what that he needed to vent his boredom and given the options had been between fox face, corpses being converted into the mindless drones that were Forsaken he had no choice even if the decision was not that easy given their equal usual dullness.

"You know, when you told me we were gonna visit a world being torn by war I expected something a lot more exciting than this!" Gilgamesh shouted, more so that Kyuseishu could hear him as the latter seemed preoccupied with something; though as the giant blue void shinned in the sky behind him the masked Keyblade Wielder glanced down Gilgamesh's way.

"Way leading the Forsaken to lay waste to the entire army not enough to quell your desire for bloodlust?" Kyuseishu replied, using magical means to echo his voice so Gilgamesh could hear him without him having to raise his tone as the weapon's master scoffed.

"Of course not! This force was already on its last legs, was merely fish in the barrel. Besides, such fodder even at their best could never please me!" Gilgamesh cursed, and for emphasis he stabbed a spear into a corpse in the process of transfiguration just as a point of emphasis.

"Fortunes favor those with some semblance of restraint. The time for you to get your cravings will come, if what knowledge I can trace from this world is any indication. There are warriors we have yet to meet with many trophies for you to collect. For the moment the greater matter is you making sure that factory is set up. Oversee its construction." Kyuseishu explained, as a couple buildings were being broken down and their materials being converted with some alchemy into a new factory by the mindless drones that had been the Forsaken.

Gilgamesh scoffed at this with a cackle.

"Don't mistake me for one of your mindless subordinates. I need something of gain if I am to babysit your construction project. Considering this boredom you've made me sit through up to now it'd better be something of value. You heard that fox-face!?" Gilgamesh asked with a cheeky grin. Kyuseishu?

He merely turned to the sky.

"I can arrange an assortment of fighters to feed your never ending bloodlust. Fighters of various scattered hearts, and of great strength. One whose powers reign over the domain of hell, one whose fury rocks the very heavens. And others with the strength and spirit to challenge the greatest of adversities." Kyuseishu explained with his echo, as he glanced down as hos mask betrayed no expression even as he made his offering to the ever interested weapon's master.

"Does this gain your interest?"

Name: Hiro, Keyblade Trinity Squadron, Kyuseishu (Avatar) & Kale
Location: Specter's Ship

"H-hunter...." Hiro muttered in shock as he drew his weapon and vowed to stand and fight with him. Which if Andrew's smug smirk only partially hid by his hood had been any indication had been just fine with him.

"Well, our hands our tied." Andrew muttered as Malcolm had a sigh and Renee already shifted into a combat stance as she glanced at the pair.

"A noble path to be sure, but don't come to regret laying on his sword for him. Not that the effort will change anything." Renee replied with cool confidence.

"Remember, we need our target alive. We can dispose of the other one without consequence." Malcolm reminded as both Andrew & Renee nodded before Andrew began to spin in place while Renee raised her Keyblade.

"Wind!"
"Thunder!"

Andrew spun in a twister as he produced wind, and Renee fired an electric bolt at it as the lightning mixed with the wind which produced an electric miniature tornado...

One that shot out towards the pair.

Hiro moved to try to grab Hunter around the waist. "Hang on!" He called out as he fired a grappling hook down the hall as he launched them down it with the twister and other cloaked fighters in pursuit.

Malcolm in turn, kept his gaze on Doomslayer as he saw the gun traced upon them. Naturally he aimed to block anyone else who'd try to interfere on Hiro's behalf as his Keyblade was ready to defend & strike at the drop of a hat.

Kyusieshu remained silent as Specter replied, both in part due to the host's conversation with Gilgamesh but more importantly thought over the question the mad monkey had left at its spectral feet. His mask hid whatever expression he may or may not have had as it glanced down the prone body of Kale, which continued to groan a bit though she remained out for now, before it turned up to Specter.

"As one of a scientific mind, I am sure you can understand natural curiosity when one's world view gets a sudden expansion." Kyuseishu replied with a natural and relaxed tone. He began to walk away from Specter as he gazed outside the window, looking down on the distant planet as the small dot of blue light was shown from the opening of the Rift before he spoke again.

"I also sense you are one with strong desires. Much like my own, desires to make a better world. Or would I be making a false presumption?" Kyuseishu asked casual as can be even as the Avatar viewed outside the window.

Name: Caulifla, Azula, Bowser
Location: Camelot

Caulifla only half paid attention to what Noah was saying, as she had been too busy venting her frustrations over the lackluster non-finish to their battle. Though his comment at her had caused her eyebrows to frown as she took exception to that.

"Hey! Your buddy there and his floppy disc prevented me from showing you what I am made up. So I'd save the victory lap on his behalf until I get my rematch so show how I really stack to a duelist. I will get even. Unless you want to volunteer?" Caulifla asked, even in spite of her injuries her pride had been the thing most damaged and she was more than eager to prove herself even if her body was still as damaged as it had been.

Though then the cyborg came in to offer his piece on the situation. Which only caused Caulifla's glare to shift his direction. Then she noticed the property damage all around her and the scattered still sleeping bodies before she turned back to Raiden confused.

"Eh? So what a fight naturally has consequence. Don't get all high and mighty like that Sadala Defense Force who wags fingers at this sort of thing. Who even are you?" Caulifla asked having no memory about who this individual was or if she had met him seemed to have forgotten after her fight with Belowski.

-----
Bowser scoffed at the antics of the cyborg, but given the castle had been a destination it also desired to go to had no reason to argue against the motion. And as such moved to keep pace with Sam as he began to track the path both Dagda and his little follower seemed to use though the destination remained crystal clear.

Still, those skills would come in handy. Azula noted internally as she followed suit and both began to move with Sam to head to the castle.

"I am afraid my involvement would only create problems. Much as anyone else being mixed in would, such as Jamie. This is meant to build up your trust with Keda and vice versa given your issues, I would merely be a distraction. I will oversee this and ensure it runs smoothly. We do have a large group to consider so ensuring each individual within it can work with and trust the other is key." Erza replied, as she declined Rex's generous offer and remained firmed in her resolve.

As Erza took the key, opened her glove, slipped it inside the sleeve and put the glove back on. Effectively binding the pair to their shackle.

"Yeah. No."

With a tap of her foot. She would produce a pillar right in front of Logan to block his path. She'd have normally adopted for just freezing him with her Metal Bending, but given his condition even if he denied anything wrong she decided against it.

"Sorry, but I can tell when someone is lying and you are just ringing all the bells. Something is wrong with you, and we are not advancing until you tell us what that is. And given you are a walking metal rod that I could bend in a pretzel if I wished, I think it'd be wise to comply." Toph replied as she was not one to take no for an answer when it came to this.

-----
"Well if I were to be honest probably a little of column A and column B." Thor confessed as Rocket decided to further clarify. "What he means is the guy needs 6 Infinity Stones, all powerful rocks that contain cosmic energy. So he kills to get those, then he uses those powers and if he snaps his fingers he can erase half of all life." Rocket said as he snapped to give Jackson a demonstration.

Lucario disregarded this conversation, beyond the fact that the weapon the tall muscular human had seemed to be special in some capacity, and while others had loaded in the van he began to run alongside it easily keeping pace as he paid attention to this plan of Priscilla.

Though as they traveled, Lucario was mindful to keep his Aura trace on as indeed he picked up some distance figures that seemed to group up down the road. "I sense something....though whether civilian or guard is hard to tell..." Lucario replied as he spoke to the passenger's window as he ran alongside it.

Ogremon glanced ahead to the group, as a figure in sky blue armor addressed them with an oh so friendly welcome as the large warrior Digimon cackled; Haze still on his shoulders as he held her with one hand behind his back and raised his club with the other.

"Who you ask? Simple....I am a very annoyed Digimon who is confused and lost with his escorts. So I would appreciate it if you told me where I was right here and right now. While I am in a generous mood." Ogremon replied, as he emphasized his "generosity by slamming the club onto the ground which caused it to rumble.

Though, with that Ogremon had glanced back at Haze on his back....that picture of Emiko when she fell ill rang in his head for whatever reason as he shook it to try and remain focused. Although....

"....one of the escorts is weak. Probably needs tending. So if nothing else factor that in if you decide not to talk but to strike." Ogremon replied simply.

Akame and Bakugo were quick to travel along the backlot area as they prepared to go to the sewers, and outside of a grumble from Bakugo about the smell they'd have to deal with neither had any complaint and moved quickly to get going as quickly as possible it as they had been mindful of the shadow in the sky.

A shadow Bakugo would rather fight than ran fun, and one Akame had focused on with the back of her eye closely.

"Are we so certain there won't be a beast waiting for us down here?" Akame asked Eileen as they moved to the direction of the sewers her hand rested on the handle of her Imperial Arms just in case it had been needed. Which if Akame's history with Danger Beasts had been anything to go by seemed ever a certainty.

“Yes, I’m aware ambitions may...drastically increase after discovering what lies within one’s grasp.”

Specter put a finger to chid chin while his other hand lay on his arm rest. He followed The hologram around as it moved to look at planet earth, or at least this universe’s version of it.

"I also sense you are one with strong desires. Much like my own, desires to make a better world. Or would I be making a false presumption?"

“Ha, Quite eloquently put. But I’m sure you know that ‘better’ is a point of view, one that changes pending on the beholder.” Specter explained, looking at him. “Tell me then, what is this better world that you behold?”

Name: Belowski
Location: Camelot

“Nah, it’s just duelin’ my dude.” Belowski put a hand behind his head in response to Noah. “Just doin’ what comes naturally. No biggie.”

It was then when caulifla snapped at Noah and Raiden came up with his stern voice about the damage they had done to the castle. He looked to and fro between them, noticing tensions rising. Of course, that’s before he looked up and noticed the damage to the castle as well.

“Oh...bummer. But no need to sweat about it. Brick and stone can be replaced, but people can’t ya know. Look at ‘em. They look all nice and Cozy.”

He gestured to the soldier, which even when some started getting up, they had grins and smiles on their faces, whoozy in a similar fashion to Belowski. In fact, even being around Belwoski as it was seemed to emanate a rather relaxing aura. Noticing Caulifla getting more and more upset, he got up and walked towards her. With one movement, he wrapped his arms around her and tried to defuse the situation with a warm hug.

“...now ain’t this better?”

He held the hug to try and get her to clam down, his aura still emanating from him passively. The human pacifier then smelt something in the air...something hot. His stomach rumbled and he used his legs to latch onto caulifla, his body flipping down so he was upside down. Checking what was there, he was met with the sight of a hot dog stand.

“Yoooooooo.”

“Oh come on, you can’t use Jamie as an excuse! The guy has practically been dead for a day!”

He gestured toward Jamie, a fly landing on his eyeball and flying off. Rex’s face full of frustration, his lil curling with rage and his eyes twitching. He did NOT like this. Not one bit.

“Besides...the caveman has never showered...like EVER. Showers weren’t even invented in his time! He smells like Sweaty mammoth!”

Tugging on the handcuffs, he tried to break them futility, most likely tugging Keda with him.

Instantly Caulifla's confrontational comments had been halted, her earlier frustration over the way the duel ended and Raiden's concern over "colateral" damage ceased. Because before Caulifla could get an answer from the cyborg she felt something glomp onto her.

Caulifla's eyes widened in shock as she glanced down and of all things....saw Belowski give a big hug to the Saiyan.

"B-back off...." Kale mumbled, twitching a bit while she remained mostly out of it as if some sort of cosmic inbalance had been felt by the Saiyan though she had no idea what or even that she had such a reaction.

"H-h-hey get off!" Caulifla said, with a momentary stupefied look on her face as it took her that time to process what was happening before she tried to push the laid back duelist off her body to try to break the hug.

Kyuseishu paid little mind to Kale's mumble, as the spectral avatar's focus had been on Specter's words as the latter made the correct statement on a "better world" being about perspective on a general sense. And asked about what Kyuseishu viewed as this better world.

"For one thing, a world where an entire group is not subjugated and made to be disposed of on leisure. One that provides justice, rather than dark corruption....does this sentiment bother you?" Kyuseishu asked the hyper intelligent ape as his astral formed turned and his fox masked stared at the leader of the ape army.

"Keep up that attitude and I may have to consider putting you with Jamie after you and Keda have your bonding experience." Erza replied sternly as she seemed dead set on her decision even with Rex's complaints as she watched him try to break the cuffs with stern brute force and hard tugs only for it to hold strong.

"Don't bother. These cuffs had a magical enhancement to them. The more you resist against it the stronger the hold gets. It is not something you can break apart with brute force." Erza replied, to what degree and what limit that extended to was unknown but it had been clear that these two would not be able to simply pull it apart as they had not been normal handcuffs.

“‘Kay.”

Giving in surprisingly easily, Belowski let go of Kale, dropping down on his head and back. Still locking eyes with the hot dog stand, he spoke back to her.

“Hey, you know what would be cool? Some grub, whaddya think?”

Giving not time for Caulifla to respond, Belowski rolled over and got up, woozily walking over to Sans’s hotdog stand. Once getting there, he leaned on the counter.

“Yo.”

Specter crossed his legs, putting a open palm in the air whilst his elbow was still connected to his armrest.

“You see, that’s where the misconception starts.” The Albino ape explained. “I’m not persecuting a race, I’m delivering justice upon them based on why my species had endured by the hands of them.”

Specter’s chair inches closer to the window, his reflection looking back at him, his eyes narrowing upon the sight.

“If your entire race was at the mercy of another, being experimented on, used for entertainment, target practice, underground fighting rings, and all sorts of act of barbarism, would you not seek an end to the violence?”

Specter then swerved his chair around to face his holographic guest.

“So my vision is to create a paradise where the simian race can coexist with any race, given a chance to thrive. And instead of using revenge to wipe out the human race, I instead offer an olive branch of forgiveness, and grant them the luxury of working by my side as drones.”

Relax looked back and forth between Erza and the chains. His eyes were brimming with irritation and his face fell, like that of a pouting cat. He figured fighting Erza would just make things worse, as he wouldn’t was JAMIE of all people added to this. He wasn’t a masochist.

Ya know, when I thought bondage with Erza, this isn’t what I had in mind. Ugh. Why doesn’t anything go my way? If I had it my way, we’d be living in a Mansion with Dinosaurs everywhere and I’d eat a new meal every day cooked up by my magical GF. But we are following her lead, because we all know girls are excellent navigators.

UA Students, Ash, Soul, Link
Yharnam

Midoriya turned to Akame.
"It'll be easier to fight down there," he replied, having followed Eileen's eyes. He made out the shape of the... thing perfectly. It's dinosaur-like head, its long, spiked tail, its leathery wings that were easily identifiable in the moonlight. "Out up here, we're at a disadvantage. It has the sky, and judging by the abilities of everybody present, not enough of us can maneuver through the air and fight it effectively at the same time. But in the sewer, it's closed off. We'll see it coming, and it--or anything else, for that matter--won't be able to take us by surprise. The sewer is our best bet here. And besides, Eileen knows this place more than any of us. She has the most experience; and by that logic, she should hypothetically know what our best moves are."
Simple deduction; it's what he was always best at. Even when he was Quirkless, it was his most valuable weapon. And here, it probably was as well. Maybe even more so than One For All. Midoriya'd always had his sharp mind; he had it when he fought Shigaraki and the Nomu. He had it when he fought Stain. He had it in Kamino when they saved Kacchan.
...But he couldn't save Todoro--
...No, he had to push that emotion down. He had to do his best in the here and now. He would use everything he had in him.
Everything.
Resonating with his thoughts, One For All responded to his emotions.
As the Successor's fists clenched, sparks danced from fingertip to fingertip.
As they grew more intense, they suddenly died out, the graceful strands of electricity became replaced with a searing black substance, curling around his arms as his anger grew.

Silently, unnoticed in the darkness.

Shoto Todoroki, Jet
Far East, City of Mercy

"...Sharpness."
As Conagher drew his wrench and actually did damage to the monster, Todoroki began to see it. Spending time around Midoriya began to rub something off on him; the ability to be more analytical, and more open to perceive things that others normally wouldn't.
"It can be hurt by sharp objects," he said, not too loudly, realizing the beast's Achilles' Heel. He looked around for other items that he could use to at least be of some assistance.
Broken glass.
It would do.
Shoto ran for the window shards, snagging one from the floor. Holding it with his fingertips, he ran to the left side of the monster, thrusting with his full strength in an attempt to force the pointed shard of glass into the beast's neck.

--------------------

Jet could immediately hear... whatever that was the second it got within earshot.
"Shoot Style Armor," he immediately thought, throwing up his hood. The armor pads, gauntlets, protective decorations, and boots all quickly manifested on his body much more quickly than it did the first time; but still took several seconds. It was always easier to make something when he'd done it before.
This time, Jet'd decided to make the shade of the teal crystals darker, resembling their original inspiration more, giving the pieces black outlining. He had a feeling that he'd need to be quick for this one.
Jet's eye immediately reacted to... ...whatever was coming close, flaring even brighter than it did in the convenience store.
His hand instinctively went for his sword, drawing the blade.
Looking up, Jet could see him now--a man made entirely of metal, looking down on him, Silver, and Blaze.
No...
He was looking at Jet.
"Can't I catch a break for once?" he thought.
The armored man grinned at him. It was like his entire body--inside and out--had been perfectly coated in tinfoil, without a single crinkle or fold. The golden sunlight reflected off of his skin like a sword. Jet expected the guy to jump down and start attacking them; that was always how encounters like this went. Movies, games, TV, web series, the lot.
Normally he wouldn't turn to stuff like that for fight knowledge. But he wasn't in his world. He didn't know what world he was in. There were hundreds of franchises he didn't associate himself with for reasons unknown. He was being forced to prepare for something he'd never known.
Suddenly, the guy did something Jet didn't expect at all.
He started singing.

“I'd sacrifice anything come what might,
For the sake of having you near,
In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night,
And repeats, repeats in my ear…”

"... What the hell is happening" was the first thing he thought.
Jet immediately recognized the song. A vague memory arose of him as a child...
"Not the time," he thought to himself, forcing the memory down into the vault.
Staring at Jet, he walked down from the ledge he was standing on (very ominously, the boy might add), continuing to sing.
His voice wasn't half bad, if Jet had to be honest.
Finally, he was on the same level as them. Somehow, a strange metal rod appeared out of the floor.
Jet expected him to take it and use it as a staff or something, but instead he just leaned on it.
“Heyo, what’d you think, man?" he asked casually. "That was some good old Frankie Sinatra, you know.”
The guy spoke as if Jet was an old friend, giving a grin.
He didn't let go of his sword.
"Was pretty good," Jet replied, shrugging. "Though I'm more of an AJR kid. Mind... uh... oh, I dunno, telling us what you need here?"
Suddenly, Jet's eye pulsed. His pupils fell to... that thing... this guy was holding.

"And while you're at it, mind telling me what that is?"

Mokko

Previously Blatant Mokery
Palladium
Far East, City of Mercy

The gleaming metal man listened as Jet began to ask a few questions of his own. Palladium, with one fluid motion, began to spin the black crystal that was in his palm on the tip of his finger.

“This old thing? This is a gift from God to me,” he stated, and it was hard to tell if he was being vague intentionally. “And me, I’m a gift from God to you.”

He suddenly tossed the crystal up in the air a few feet, before catching it, and cranking his neck to the side. The sound that emanated from his neck didn’t sound like cracking or popping, but rather, like two gears grinding together. The metal rod he was leaning on suddenly sank down into the ground as he stood up straight, re-aligning his posture.

He stared at Jet, looking him up and down, examining his sword, his armor, the look in his eyes, his breathing rate- he needed every detail. God needed every detail. He suddenly grinned wider. They were gonna love him in Paradise.

“Alright, Jet, since we’re friends now, I’m gonna fill you in on a little something, aight?”

He took a step forward. “Name’s Palladium. That’s not my birth name, obviously, but it’s what they call me. I’m here on a bit of a special mission regarding you and your buddy, Silver. Gotta say, I’ve heard a lot about you, and I’m impressed. There’s definitely a reason God has his eye on you.”

Still being terribly vague on the character he mentioned as ‘God,’ Palladium took another step forward.

“Hm… what can I say… I grew up in the Big Apple, ‘till my universe was destroyed, at least,” he said, looking lost in thought all of a sudden. “God saw something special in me, so he pulled me out of there, into a new dimension. Cool, huh? But that’s enough about me.”

He suddenly shifted his gaze, staring off in the direction of Silver and Blaze, before returning his focus to Jet.

“So, before I get down to business with your pals over there…”

He extended his arm, offering a handshake to the young ninja.

“Put ‘er there?” he said, more as a question than a demand, still flashing that same smile.

Maxwell
Maxwell stared at his fossilized sister for a few moments longer, thinking about how to reply to Frisk’s question, but he knew there was only one answer.

“Long story,” he told her. “In short, my father gave me my notebook as a gift. I started to use it for pranks, and one day, I gave an old man a rotten apple. If I’d known what would happen…”

He stared at the ground.
“He put a curse on Lily. She started to turn to stone, slowly. The only possible way to save her was to collect Starites. They’re these magical star-objects that would appear when I helped someone out. I spent days locating every single possible location I could find one. I worked, and worked, collected, and collected…”

His gaze shifted back up at Lily.
“But it wasn’t worth it. Because when I got enough Starites… I saved her, but… the old man returned. He revealed himself to be none other than my father. And he had the nerve to just stand there and… smile.”

Maxwell remembered that first timeline so vividly it almost stung. It was the first time he’d ever felt true hatred.

“But that wasn’t even the biggest issue. As soon as all this went down, and Lily was freed… it all got reset. I got sent to the point right after the old man had bitten into the apple, and I couldn’t prevent the curse. I had to collect the starites again. But things reset. Again. And again. I played his game for a hundred timelines.”

He closed his eyes. “My father can’t help us with this now, though. I killed him.”
His voice beared no regret.

Noah Kaiba
Camelot

Noah watched as Belowski attempted to hug Caulifla, but his effort was thwarted when she pushed him away as soon as the initial shock wore off. Belowski didn’t seem fazed, however, and instead began to talk about getting food, and quickly got up, heading over to a nearby… hot dog stand?
Oh, please, how unrealistic could you get?

Suddenly, his stomach growled quietly, and nausea swept over him. He blinked, before realizing that he was hungry. The feeling was unfamiliar- he hadn’t felt hunger, or nausea, in years. Not since the accident, at least. Not since his mind transfer into his virtual reality system.

He looked over at Caulifla, before folding his arms.
“You. I can tell you’re tough, but don’t let that go to your head. If you plan on challenging Belowski to a rematch, you’d better be prepared to have two opponents. I’m not having my lawyer show up with a black eye.”

With that, he turned, walking over to the hot dog stand Belowski had gone over to. It wasn’t exactly his culinary preference, but he wanted to make this feeling of hunger go away, as quickly as possible, and this appeared to be the only food stand around. Not that he was gonna bother to go search for more.

Nanashi
Road to Camelot

“The air here is… refreshing,” Nanashi commented to Suparma, holding onto the bird-like demon as she flapped her wings, before slowly beginning to glide towards the castle.
“The air up here?” Suparna questioned.

“No,” Nanashi shook his head. “I mean the air in this world. In Tokyo, the air is stale, filled with the bitter breathing of dead humans and demons alike. This place… the air, the environment, it feels… healthier.”

“Obviously,” Suparna chirped. “This place has a sun. And forests. And castles. We don’t even have a sky.”

“Yeah, just hope they don’t shoot you down when we get close to the castle,” he said.

“What?!” Suparna almost immediately swooped down to the ground below.

“I’m joking. Come on, we’re almost there.”

Kidomaru
VS Kraken

“To be honest with ye,” Wightbeard said, “I don’t think ye could take a direct hit from that tentacle tangler.”

Kidomaru shook his head. “Obviously not. That’s why we need a plan. I can come up with a strategy.”

He looked over the side of the ship. The Kraken flailed its eight limbs about in the water, roaring at the ship above.

“I’ve got an idea,” Kidomaru stated.”

————————————-

Kidomaru leapt from the side of the ship, falling down directly towards the kraken. Despite the aquatic monster’s massive size, it seemed to notice the comparatively smaller being, and when Kidomaru was within striking range, it lazily flailed one tentacle at him. He grinned, and was struck- but stuck to the beast’s palm. The clone jutsu ended, in a puff of smoke, and it was revealed to be a large mass of webbing. But that wasn’t all- the webbing shifted, before erupting, morphing into a large ring. It latched onto two targets- the kraken’s two closest tentacles, tying them together tightly.

The kraken looked confused, and attempted to pull its arms apart, but it was futile. Not even a creature of such size and strength could bust Kidomaru’s chakra-infused webbing.

The sound ninja smirked. He’d had a feeling his plan would work- but that was just phase one.

Suddenly, two more Kidomarus leapt off of the side of the ship- one, or both of them undoubtedly clones. The kraken didn’t appear to care, and swung two of its free tentacles at the clones. Both clones faded from the force of the blow, and in their place were masses of webbing. Just as before, the web contorted into rings, looping around two more pairs of tentacles.

With three pairs of its eight limbs now tied, the kraken was having some difficulty staying afloat.

Kidomaru stared down at the aquatic behemoth.

“You plannin’ on tying it up completely?” Wightbeard raised a spectral eyebrow.

“Nope. It’ll be expecting it now. It’s going to tie itself up for me.”

“How do ye figure that, lad?”

“Depending on how much chakra I put into my webbing, I can determine how long it takes to harden. I put just enough so that it could flail a little before it’s even more stuck. Watch.”

Kidomaru was right about the kraken tying itself up. It flailed and flailed, its tied tentacles touching its own body- and with it, the webbing, which happened to harden at the perfect moment- leaving the kraken trapped, six of its limbs stuck to its body, immovable.

Wightbeard roared with laughter. “You outdid yourself, lad! This’ll be easier than fishin’ with a net!”

The spirit pirate leapt from the side of the ship, his axe appearing in his hand as he flew down towards the kraken. With the beast all tied up, it couldn’t do anything as the axe made contact, cutting into its flesh like warm butter.

Camelot Castle - Dining Hall [Afternoon]
"WELL I'M SORRY WE CAN'T ALL HAVE THE POWERS OF GODS!" Joseph screamed back. More importantly... while I have a moment, the hell are these vines? They just... appeared from me, and they're not hurting me. I can conduct Hamon through them, but... "Hey, cat knight!" Joseph said. "You wouldn't happen to know what these vines are?"
"...vines?" Sir Percival raised an eyebrow, someone confused. "Joestar, did you hurt your head? I don't see anything aside from you on the chandelier."
"Wh-" Joseph was shocked. Artemis had clearly commented on them, so... "Wait, are you saying you can't see the vines?!"
If she can't see them... I guess there's only one person I can go to for answers.
Dropping off of the chandelier, Joseph dashed out, grabbing his clackers from his side. He infused them with Hamon energy, the purple vines wrapping around his arm. He didn't expect to see a grey, shirtless, tattooed man stabbing the weird goop with a pair of knives. "The hell are you doing?!" JoJo demanded, shocked.
Back inside the room, the still-sleepy Serena moaned, slowly opening her eyes...

Camelot Castle - Throne Room [Afternoon]
"I'm unsure." Merlina said. "Without the aid of Nimue, I'm unsure if I could cast a spell over the entirety of the castle-"
That's when the door was thrown open by Gawain, who charged in. "Lady Merlina! Everyone in the castle fell asleep!"
Merlina blinked. "...including you?"
"Yeah, I just woke up."
"Have the effects been lifted...?" Merlina pondered.

Camelot Castle Town - Blacksmith's Shop [Evening]

"...armor-making isn't something I'm paranoid about."
The low tone that set into Stark's voice with that comment left it open-ended, and clear the inventor was hiding something. He took a chisel to the mask, chipping away at the finer details.

Yeah, Shantae picked up on the tone of her voice. "...you've done more than I have." Shantae sighed, curling up as she dragged her legs closer to her. "So I get it. There's been times a preteen girl has been more effective than I am. Did you know this spirit ended up trying to take me as some kind of trophy, and the other had to complete his stupid contracts to get me back?" She looked over to Yang. "I've seen the looks Ruby gives you. It doesn't matter to her whether or not you've got the strength to destroy a tower in a single punch. You've always been there for her, and always fight for her. She knows she can count on you. I think that's enough to call you a good sister."

Shrouded Forest - Mountainside [Evening]
"Follow."
Both Lucina and Robin were in agreement. "Samus, you remember what Sonic was capable of at the tournament. You were there before us, too, so you saw him win the whole thing." Robin said. "There's no guarantee Sonic's going to return this way. If our best shot is to reach him to figure out what's going on and get home, then reach him we'll have to. We've got a better chance of finding him the closer we are to him. So let's go after him."
Falcon grunted. "As much as I hate to say it, they're right. Sonic almost destroyed the stadium in his final fight with Mario in the Brawl tournament. And he outwitted Ganondorf, the guy who played both of us for chumps back in Melee. If we've got better chances of finding him out there, tired as we may be, I say we go find him."
"Honestly, I'd prefer to rest." Lora said. "We took a lot of damage in that fight, and most of us are exhausted. If we do encounter more of those monsters on the way there, it'd be best to be in a decent enough condition to fight them. But I'll follow the group's consensus."
"My opinion is the same as Lady Lora's." Jin commented.

Atlantic Ocean [Evening]
"Yeah... I don't doubt you will. If you make it there."
As the smoke cleared, Sonic was there, breathing heavily from the impacts... but still on his feet. Caliburn's edge was scorched from being used as a makeshift shield to protect the King from the lightning.
"But I don't give up. I run, but if everything's on the line, I don't leave until maniacs like you go down for good."
Sonic pushed back a foot, preparing to dash again.
"Wait, that's Sonic out there! With a sword!"
"Scans confirm it. What's he doing? There's someone else out there that I can't get a read on..."
"Who's that black guy?!"
"Lady Lora, stay away from the waterfront!"
"Samus, you're the only one who can safely reach him out there. Is your speed booster working?"

Sonic's eyes opened wide at the sound of the voices. Three of the five were ones he recognized. Distracted and concerned, he blasted off away from Vader, moving towards the familiar faces.
Meanwhile, something appeared behind Vader.
"I thought he'd never leave."

The Wilds - Star's Wand

The Nomad began to panic. What was happening? He had never encountered something like this before. He kept trying to get at his chest, trying to find where the light was coming from. He looked to Star with worry in his eyes. What was-
Suddenly, the Nomad's back arched, and what seemed like a blue hologram poured out from his chest.
"This message is for Queen Moon Butterfly, of Mewni, world NEFCY-SVFOE-1. If she is not present, please bring the information contained within this message to her."
The Nomad's eyes opened as wide as they could. Before him, if only in the form of light, was the wizard who created him.
"My apologies for my appearance being only this." the wizard said. "But as things now stand... it is my only option. If this message has been activated, then my creation has overheard a discussion relating to Zeliyis. He does not know of the galactic tyrant, nor of what he's capable of. Presumably, the seal we created has weakened, and his universe is no longer isolated as we planned. Drastic action must be taken. Please, gather the United Army once again. Flint will be able to connect the dimensions once again - or, if a fate similar to my own has taken him, find his children instead. Use the Communication Crystal left on Mewni to reach him. You'll need the power of the Guardian of the Multiverse if you want to gather a force capable of matching that ungodly warlord. As for why I say this to you as a message, and not in person... it is my only option. In our own world, I am being... hunted. A war-mongering king named El Rey, not dissimilar from Zeliyis in many ways, has begun to hunt magicians across the world and take their magic. It is not safe for me. I've already kept myself hidden as long as possible, but... they will find me eventually. Should the worst befall me, as it likely will, I entrust my two last gifts to the world to your care and protection - my final creation, who delivers this message, and my daughter, Miranda. I wish you the best of luck. Please... stop him."
As the light of the wizard began to fade away, the Nomad reached out a hand to grab him. To keep him with him, to remain, to keep some semblance of the past. But the light still faded, leaving Nomad with nothing once again. The light in his chest faded and vanished, the message delivered.
And the Nomad fell to his knees.
Scarecrows can't cry.

The Wilds - The Plains
And now he was chained to Rex.
"So you want him to be killed by a wild beast?" Keda scoffed. "It's clear that Rex is incompetent at best in survival, and I'm the one that knows the terrain here. Team building exercise or no, you very well may have endangered this entire group, Erza, by forcing Rex and I to always be near. What if he turns tail and flees from a buffalo Alpha chases towards us? Throwing off my aim and posture with a sudden jerk could have me impaled on its horns, or him run over by its hooves. Or worse. This world isn't a forgiving one."
That's when Rex yanked on the cuffs. Keda lost his balance for a moment, and in retaliation, jerked his wrist to the side to reach over to Alpha and gently pet her.
"...huh? Wha? You talking about me?" Jamie asked, blinking. "Sorry, those spirits don't shut up..."
"Spirits?" Keda raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Creepy, sadistic freaks who transform me as they will." Jamie said, shivering. "They've been relenting since we got here to be more helpful, but... You think I wanted to be a catgirl, or have G-cups on the wyvern form? The source of my power is freaky and gross and eck. It's why I don't like using it if I don't need to."

Saudi Arabia
As she was yanked up by the Digimon, Haze let out a quiet yelp. She didn't respond, however. She was focused on breathing deeply. Her core crystal began to glow as she did, trying desperately to produce as much Ether as possible. She needed that magical aura to live, heal, and maintain her biological functions. In her concentration, she cut herself off from whatever was happening nearby, focusing solely on Ogremon and her Ether production. Eventually, it reached stable enough levels that she could raise her head and take a look at the situation she was in.
Doug was there. He seemed to be concerned about her. "I-I'm fine... for now..." she muttered. She'd have to explain how Blades worked later. Looking further upwards, she saw the green slop creature wearing war paint and menacingly brandishing a weapon, as well as an armored soldier standing before the group that reminded Haze of an advanced Ardainian soldier who had taken a swim in a vat of cyan paint. From some gleams of light, she thought she might be able to see other soldiers nearby, but she couldn't be sure.

ONI Delta Station - Underground (Reach)
Strangely, despite the pair having been alone in the underground bunker mere minutes before... a pair of light, rapid footsteps could be heard from nearby.

Goldenwalk - Business District
"Uh, thanks." Peter chuckled at the comment. He wasn't really used to getting genuine compliments from people he was seventy percent sure could kick his ass. After basking in the praise for about half a minute, Toph and Logan seemed to be on the verge of a spat. "Uh-" That wasn't something Parker wanted to deal with. He quickly moved to change the topic. When he laid eyes on Y again, though, he realized something. "Wait... Actually, if you think about it, that laser was very narrow. Great for focus and distance, but in terms of destructive potential...! If I can figure out how Y works, and have access to the right tools... well, I'm no Mr. Stark, but... I-I could try fixing her up! Maybe it'll work. I mean I have made a few gadgets on my own time..."

Nathan turned to X. "Can you check?"
"I'm getting a vocal match." X said, his eyes wide. "...and Y's signal! It's them!"

Sequin Land - Mermaid Falls
And gleeful murder of an already almost-extinct population was now something else Rottytops had to deal with. Maybe Snatcher could help fix things? The head bounced off of Giga Mermaid, causing too little of an impact to notice. Rottytops landed on the mermaid's shoulder, a new body appearing beneath her head. Now watching things, Rottytops waited for the best moment...

Arendelle - Elsa's Castle
As Hornet's needle landed, Alpha didn't bother to check where it landed. So long as it hit the Heartless Knight, they were good. Which it supposedly did, since the thunk he heard wasn't the sound of the needle stabbing into stone or snow. "ZEUS RAGE!" he shouted, his hands crackling with electricity as he clapped them over the thread. The current blasted down the thread and through the needle, electrocuting its target.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Maple flew forwards. Blasting wind beneath herself to send her skyward, Maple flew over the head of the dragon, forming a construct as she did. The combination of vines and ice formed quickly, creating a makeshift catapult. It was held in the perfect position for Lilac to leap into it and shoot right down at the head of the dragon.

Central Yharnam - The Sewers
As the group ran back into the sewers, Trevor took the back of the group, his boot skidding against the stone as he grinded to a halt. "Sypha, get ready!" The Morningstar whip cracked against the stone, the monster hunter prepared to slay whatever beast was pursuing them.

Far East - Fenrir Base
"In that case, you should be able to use one of the terminals located around the base to register for a training session." Lenka said. "You usually have to go through a full regiment's worth of training sessions before you can do field work. After what I went through... they've got a reason for that. Just having a God Arc - or more specifically, that red ring - automatically registers you in the system."

Far East - City of Mercy
The Aragami let out a yell as the glass sliced through it. As it did, Conagher realized the same thing as Todoroki.
"HAHH!"
Conagher swung downwards with the Jag, stabbing the Ogretail right through the brains. The beast let out a yell again, moving forwards to try and attack Engineer, but the mercenary managed to hold the beast back. "Scout, get over here!" the Texan ordered.
"WHAT?! Why the hell should I do that?!"
"Listen to me, boy!" Engineer growled. "Take off mah glove!"
"How's your freaky robot hand gonna help us?!" Scout asked.
"JUST DO IT, OR IT'LL KILL YOU AND ME BOTH!"
"Alright, alright, FINE!" Jeremy dashed over, yanking off Dell's glove. As he did, he saw the string of the Gunslinger. "Wait, should I-"
"Hell yeah."
"Ohoho, sweet."
Like he was starting up a lawnmower, Scout yanked hard on the string of the Gunslinger. Engineer's mechanical hand began to sputter to life, flipping back and spinning around rapidly. Sharp blades extended from the sides.
"Shoot son, y'all slow as molasses."
The Ogretail was suddenly shredded apart, pulsating bits of flesh flying everywhere as Conagher used his hand as a meat grinder to tear the Ogretail to pieces. "YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAW!"

Name: Kyuseishu
Location: Specter's Ship

"Then it seems our goals are similar. As a new world will be made, one where such injustice you desire rightful revenge against never has a chance to exist." Kyuseishu replied back, as the spectral avatar turned to the simian as he laid out his correction for his cause as he desired "justice" above all else and an end to such violence who sees subjugation of those cruel "masters" as a means to an end.

The desire for order and control to combat the chaos of hatred.

"And that is what I offer if we were to combined our forces. To make that world you desire, one where the darkness the violence the hatred is removed and a new era of peace is made. We have allowed ourselves to be divided and exploit those differences over those we deem "inferior" with unjust consequences as you can attest to. How we deal of "enemies" may have some differences....but in the end the desire for that better world remains the same." Kyuseishu said simply, his mask betrayed no expression even as he spoke with a calm conviction behind each word.

Name: Caulifla, Yang, Azula
Location: Camelot

Caulifla blinked a bit in confusion, first as the causal break of the hug and the hug itself then the way his focus seemed to shift to a hot dog stand that somehow escaped all the carnage of their battle. How long had that stand been there, how did that cart get there?

These questions were on hold as Noah came over and made it clear that if she challenged Belowski again she'd have to deal with him to. Caulfila folded her arms over her chest as she stared Noah down as she seemed more excited at that than threatened if her sly smirk was evident of anything.

"Lawyer huh? Well that will be fitting given sometimes my fights could be classified as assault cases." Caulifla said cheekily before Noha wandered off with Belowski as she had been left alone. Now what? Well given the abrupt ending of the duel the ideal thing much as Caulifla hated the term "rest" was to get some of that and let her body heal. Maybe she should go and seek out that guy in orange...Goku if she recalled correctly, who was key to showing her what that Super form she had tapped into earlier was and could be the key for her to understand and master it. Yeah, that is what she should do now...

Rumble!

....well, her day so far had left her famished and she could use a meal. If the growl of her stomach was reflective of anything anyhow. Maybe getting one of those hot dogs real quick and then going on her search would be the best tactic. Quickly Caulifla made her decision and moved over by where Noah & Belowski had been to get one of those treats for herself.

Yang noticed Shantae pull them closer together as she began to list an account that tied into Yang's own newfound insecurities as Shantae tried to pep Yang up and encourage the blonde that her sister still saw her as someone to look forward to. Which under normal circumstances would likely have worked as Yang was always one to fire up in situations like this.

But....as Yang glanced at her hand memories surged she thought back to that Z guy...the way her fists even at their full power couldn't make it wince...how useless she was the entire trip to this point which caused her to sigh as she glanced Shantae's way.

"Thank you, that...is touching to hear. But Ruby sees the best in all of us, that is part of what makes her so amazing. But the fact is lately I am not what she thinks I am and with these guys we are dealing with I need to be able to topple a tower for her sake. For our sake, and right now I don't even feel like I can so much as dent it, I lost my spark." Yang replied simply as she was appreciative of Shantae's kind words and cause for concern but seemed too focus on her own weakness for it to ring home. Yang clenched that same fist and once more glanced the genie's way.

"Being strong and a good sister here means more than moral support or fighting hard. It means having the strength to help keep her safe, to do anything of note against these guys. I need to reignite that flame while it hasn't been snuffed out or worse simply irrelevant to burn anything." Yang said, with the figurative flame in this case being her own power & strength that she more often than not was able to rely on either by herself or with her team that so far had failed her over and over again through this crisis.

Ruby already looked up to her even in spite of this, she needed to give her something worth her gaze.

"So, know the best way inside the castle? You seem to have experience getting in and out without issue, so it seems you are most fitting to point us in the right direction." Azula asked Sam, as their trio approached the castle and given Sam had been part of Negan's group who entered the castle earlier the Fire Nation princess in secret asked an innocent enough question of Sam as she wanted the least amount of trouble.

If Sam could get in without hassle once, then clearly he should have the capacity to do it twice. Giant turtle dragon next to them with anger issues aside naturally.

Name: Erza, Dipper, Raven, Star
Location: The Wilds (+Star's Wand)

"First and foremost if anything critically goes wrong I am around to keep the natural beasts from slaughtering you. I have my fair share of dealing with such beasts worse than your land has displayed. So worry not on that front." Erza assured Keda with natural confidence in her own ability to manage the situation when it came to dealing with the elements as she listened to his complaints but had not been swayed.

"Consider that greater motivation to learn to work as one. The sooner you do, the sooner your separation will come." Erza pointed out to Keda & Rex before she heard Jamie's comments and nodded his direction.

"Yes, this group is one of four but three personalities have shinned through. I feel you ought to try and stand out more, and learning a bit about you and how your spirits work will help with understanding and make the unit stronger. Just get to know you better if that makes sense." Erza explained to Jamie, as she wanted to get him more involved with the group so that Rex's tease earlier had less chance to gain any favor.

-----
As Nomad continued to spaz out, suddenly this projection seemed to play from the dazzling light as it seemed to be a message from the wizard figure Nomad was familiar with and one meant for Star's own mother as it began to list a warning about Zeliyis but more importantly stressed what needed to be done to stop him; to gather this "United Army" which Dipper figured was the one Ford fought with in the mural. Someone named Flint they'd need to get in contact with who'd be able "connect the dimensions" or his children if he was not available. They'd need to get this Communication Crystal that seemed to be on Mewni to get contact which shocked Star to help gain this power of the Guardian of the Multiverse.

When it ended, Nomad crumbled on his knees in sorrow even if he could not cry which caused Star to go comfort him with a hug. Dipper himself worked to memorize the message and write it in the notepad while trying to calm his fear somewhat. Raven noticed that everyone seemed in out of it from the message and its implications as Raven kept a usual blank face before she sighed to herself.

She was no Robin, but given he wasn't here and everyone else seemed taken by the message to act Raven decided someone had to step up to be the leader even if for a moment.

"Well, least we can say there is a chance. Now we know what to do to stop this Zeliyis. And I don't think he'd want us sitting shell shocked given what he did just to get this out, hard as it might be we have to move on. For his sake. For everyone's." Raven said, her monotone tone tried to show a more sliver of emotion though this rally was never her forte. It seemed to work enough, as Dipper sighed and nodded before he began to reread the list of things to do as Star comforted Nomad.

"We can do this, I know you miss him but...but we need each other. All of us." Star said as she tried to encourage Nomad.

Name: Akame, Bakugo
Location: Yharnam

Akame listened to Midoriya as he outlined the reason going to the sewers would be advantageous for the group, and she had to admit the kid brought up a couple of fair point concerning the flying creature's make up & size would be cramped and would allow them to know where it was coming as it would have limited attack areas. Kid seemed to be a natural tactician.

"I can respect that view of it. Though you have to consider we do not know our enemy well, and that thing could alter to adapt its body if it feels confident enough to go to an unfavorable field for battle. Not to mention the confined space will be tricky for us given we are a large group and we could get in each other's way trying to fight at once..." Akame countered back, as in particular her poison blade would be a concern if the spacing of the group ends up too tight. Bakugo scoffed as he moved ahead of the group.

"In the sewers I will know where it is, and that is all that matters. I'll blast that thing to hell if it tries anything, you all just stay behind me." Bakugo replied with firm resolve though even his fiery declaration was met by a cold stare from Akame.

"I envy the world you come from where such a reckless attitude isn't punished by death. In my world all being the big hero and charging in like a mad bull gets you is a one way trip to the grave, but it is wise to not to presume that karma applies to this world." Akame countered as Bakugo shot the assassin a scowl.

"You sure speak from such a high horse given all I've ever seen you do is rest that hand on the sword. Once we get away from the sewers and these beasts you take me on and maybe I can see what you bring beyond just that scartastic tongue to this group." Bakugo said as he made the challenge to Akame only to feel a slight chill as those red eyes canned with a strong trace of killing intent.

"I do not fight, I do not spare...I eliminate. And if we were to get into it that would merely be the same result. I suggest we worry less about that hypothetical and focus on moving and staying ahead of the beast." Akame replied back, before she lowered the killing intent as Bakugo's glare never dropped but he had opted not to spit back. Least for now.

Name: Fumi, Katsu, Lilac
Location: Arendelle (Elsa's Castle)

As the Heartless Knight is pushed back by Fumi & Katsu, its eyes widen as a large needle shot at it which caused the nightmare entity to produce a dark barrier as the needle struck it; making a pierce through it but remaining still and out of harm's way. Just avoiding being struck....only for the electricity to provide a push as it and the thunder struck the dark warrior which let out a screech of agony as it was shocked and the needle stabbed into the chest as it was forced back; stunned as electricity sparked though its body. Fumi & Katsu were quick to capitalize on this opening as both Keyblades charged with magic power and began to glow.

"Kingdom..."
"....Cross!"

And both Fumi & Katsu delivered twin slashes across the Heartless Knights chest, forming an X slash as it was knocked over and tumbled back groaning from the blow with its dark Keyblade knocked aside. Alive, but disarmed and damaged as it struggled to stand.

With the opening provided for her, Lilac was quick to take full advantage as she built up momentum and bounced off the catapult that had been created for her as she used that to deliver a thunderous dragon strike right at the tip of the skull of the dragon. The beast let out an unearthly cry as Lilac drove through the skull and the beast began to dissipate. Defeated.

As the monstrous Chernabog squeezes on Elsa in its grip, it appeared that Elsa was doomed but an unlikely hero came into play as Anna made it to the top of Elsa's castle with that barrel in hand.

"Hey ugly!" Anna called out as Chernabog glanced her path only for Anna to smash the barrel she had as she covered her eyes. "Elsa cover!"

Elsa closed her eyes, unsure what the plan was but as the barrel exploded a blinding light caused the Chernabog to cry out as it was momentarily blinded by the make-shift flash bomb which had caused its grip on Elsa to loosen. Elsa jumped back and landed on the castle as this was now the moment to strike and the ice queen aimed to take full advantage.

In this case, it was not one but two pairs of giant ice fists she generated in the air. And with the beast blinded Elsa aimed to turn to a rather barbaric but effective method to deal with the Night King.

"AHHHHHHHH!"

Elsa screamed as she puppeted a punch across the face of Chernabog which knocked it on the outskirts of the castle with a thud that felt like an earthquake. She then punched it in the chest while it was down and then punched its face...then gut....then chest...then face, over and over and over again Elsa roared as punch after punch after punch. The ground cracked underneath the giant devil and a rumble was felt all along the mountain as Elsa used her giant ice fists to pummel the beast into submission. Maleficant who watched form her lair on her globe frowned but even she knew when a cause was a lost one and quickly sent a signal to her Heartless Knight; who reverse summoned Charnabog to take it out of the path of the ice fists and soon enough vanished through a portal.

Arendelle...have been saved.

Shen: King of Digimon

Name: Specter
Location: Space Station SARU-04

Specter contemplated what his newfound guest had to say. Listening carefully to the speech about methods and prevention of the sins of those they fought. Specter put a finger to his chin.

“Stopping the origin of violence at its source eh? Preventing pain and suffering before it has a chance to become something ghastly. Truly remarkable of an idea, but there’s one thing you are leaving out.”

He turned to Kyueishu, his chair doing all the movement for him. He put his hands together and leaned closer.

“Methods. You speak of having different methods, but you never spoke of what those were. While your case seems all well and good in theory, I need to know what these ‘methods’ are. How would you go about something like that without let’s say, mind control or death?”

Name: Rex Raptor
Location: Wilds (yet another cave)

“Hey! I have you know I can survive anytime and anywhere perfectly fine!”

As he said that, a chill blew through the air, Rex shuddering and his teeth chattering. He was quick to put his hands in his jacket.

“Except the cold! Dino’s don’t do cold and neither do I!”

Upon hearing Erza’s Declaration and terms to the cuff deal, Rex sighed, mulling it over in his head. Hm...okay....so this can go one of two ways. First, I keep fighting it and never get along with the stupid caveman hick, and Erza gets all: “I can never trust you again!” And boots us both out of the team and I never get to see her again...and I get stuck in a frozen tundra for the rest of my life....! Noooooooo! He gulped at the though.

The Second way is that I comply, pretend to actually care about this caveman and fulfill Erza’s wishes. She’ll be totally impressed and be like: “oh Rexy, I knew you could work together as a team! Now I know your fit enough to be my husband, so come marry me and we can have 15 kids and name them after your dinosaurs!” As we live in her magical cloud castle. Oh yeah. It’s all comin’ together.

At What seemed like a sudden change of character, Rex brushed himself off, standing proper and without seemingly any sign of malicious intent. He looked up and down to Keda. Struggling to say something.

“...So how’d You meet the mutt?”

Doomslayer
Specter's Ship - Pipotron Chamber

The blast of a shotgun.
A swift swipe with a keyblade.
The sound of metal striking metal.
Boots thudding on the floor.
An amused chuckle.

The Doomslayer leaped off the ground, using his Delta V boots to launch himself forward, propelling himself with heavy momentum toward Malcom, who took a large step back, easily evading Flynn's fist as it slammed into the ground where Malcom had just been standing. The entire room seemed to shake with the impact as the thick metal noticeably dented.
Malcom simply slashed with his keyblade, intending on making quick work of the slayer. His attack landed, but it merely glanced off of the armor of the man, who stared blankly at Malcom before firing his weapon, aimed directly at Malcom's gut, which was exposed. The smirk faded off of the keyblade wielder's face as he quickly sidestepped far more quickly than most could, dodging the second shotgun blast before slashing at the weapon with his keyblade, sending it flying out of the Doomslayer's hand.
This didn't seem to deter Flynn, who instead punched his hands into the floor, burying them through the metal, gripping the thick sheets of metal, and ripping up, pulling the floor out from under Malcom, who was imbalanced enough for the slayer to slam it back down, leaving Malcom temporarily suspended in the air as the Doomslayer took a step forward with speed he'd previously not shown, striking forward with his fist, slamming it into Malcom's sternum, who was sent flying.

The follower was quick to recover from this, having realized he'd underestimated the Doomslayer, and twirled about in the air to 'land' against the wall on his feet, and quickly pushed off of it, his smirk returning as he slashed the slayer across the chest, moving behind him, placing the tip of his keyblade to the slayer, who barely budged from the initial strike.
"Thunder!" He shouted triumphantly as the magic lightning struck Flynn, this time moving him, by launching him across the room, electricity crackling around the armor.
Still airborn, Flynn slammed a single arm into the metal floor again, immediately halting him as he quickly got to his feet. The magic... it wasn't argent energy, but its powers still found a way to heal the slayer. Just a bit... If only its properties were more similar to argent energy, he'd be back to peak condition. It'd be even better if he had his helmet back.

Out of the flames of hell, another weapon appeared in Flynn's hands as the forgotten shotgun disappeared in a plume of ashes. The sound of a motor roaring to life could be heard. Equipped with his trusty chainsaw, the Doomslayer ran again toward Malcom.

Logan, Spider-Gwen, Gordon Freeman
Goldenwalk - Business District

He grit his teeth as he came to a stop, a wall of earth rising before him, disrupting his path. They didn't have time to worry about any of this. He could feel his blood pressure rising, but he was quick to calm himself, taking a deep breath. The Spider-Kid said some words, but it was clearly not in-line with Toph and Logan's discussion. The Wolverine's left eye twitched before he turned to look at the girl. "Look." He said. "I've been around a long... long time. My body doesn't work the way it used to. I'm fine." With that, he walked around the obstacle, brow furrowed, still limping along.

"Well, this is good, right?" Gwen asked in response to Nathan and X's confirmation to the approaching voices' identities. Without waiting for a response, she leaped into the air, firing a web toward one of the few standing buildings and using it to propel herself away, closer to the voices while shouting back to the Silver Scythe; "Come on, dude, I can introduce you to some cool people."
"Not that the others weren't cool..." She added to herself. She would have said it to Nathan, X, and company, but she was already a little too far away for that at the moment.

Gordon watched as the Spider-Woman swung around a corner and vanished, before adjusting his glasses. With this distraction, he'd seemingly been accepted into the midst of this group, fitting into their team. Now he just had to figure out what was going on, who the enemy was, and how to stop them. Simple.

Agent Carolina
Saudi Arabia - Medina

She didn't really like the goblin's attitude, or 'digimon' as it referred to itself. Had an ego, one the could maybe even rival her own. It was an odd group for sure, especially including the slug or whatever. She was about to formulate a snarky response until the beast continued, bringing the girl on his shoulder to her attention. She seemed human. The majority of the group did. While this was undoubtedly an odd encounter, these people could be of help.

"I think these people have gone through what we did." Church told Carolina, turning off her external speakers, making their brief conversation private. "You mean sucked through some kind of inter-dimensional bullshit?" She asked. "Exactly." Church replied. "Though I'm drawing a blank when trying to think of an alternate world where we have talking green slime balls."
"Then maybe this is larger than alternate timelines." With that, she activated her comm link with her squad of marines. "Stand down. Tag them as friendlies." She ordered, before reactivating her external speakers, taking a step toward the group. "We won't strike." She stated, still directing her words at Ogremon as the Marines slowly made their way out of their cover, looking apprehensive for the most part. "In fact, we could use your help. Not much time to explain this to you, because-"

A shrill, distorted shriek cut through the air, breaking off Carolina's sentence. After a moment of silence, more screeches could be heard, and Carolina shrugged her Battle Rifle off her shoulder, slapping it down into her hands. "Because of that." She stated as the Marines closed in tighter on the group, now facing away from the circle, weapons aiming at every nook and cranny, waiting for the first enemies to emerge. "I got a bad feeling about this." One of the Marines stated. "Yeah, mate. Bad vibes all around..." Another replied as the sound of what could only be a few dozen, or possibly even a hundred pairs of footsteps could be heard thundering across asphalt and concrete, more of the cries accompanying them.

Sans
Camelot Courtyard - Hotdog Stand

The skeleton stared back at the boy with an equally carefree expression, leaning over the counter on the opposite end in a similar fashion. "Yo." Belowski greeted. "yo." Sans replied with matching laziness. He glanced away from the duelist to the approaching customers, his grin widening. His prediction had been flawless, as he'd assumed. Everything he'd predicted so far on this journey had turned out correct. Omega's arrival... Stark's hacking... Snake's rescue... well, the only thing he hadn't predicted correctly was Sonic. Of course, if anybody was expecting something like him as the king of Camelot, then they clearly were entirely unfamiliar with the folklore and expecting something weird already.

Sans' Hot Dog Stand

"how's it goin'?" Sans asked rhetorically, returning his attention to his first customer. "what can i get for ya, pal?" This second question was, in fact, not rhetorical. I know. Surprising. Sans propped his elbow on the counter, resting his cheek in his palm as he lazily awaited Belowski's answer while Sans thought about how to prank this kid in the back of his mind. Couldn't be hard. He'd pranked people across time and space before.

Frisk
Far East - City of Mercy

Frisk was silent for a minute, digesting Maxwell's words. After nearly half a minute of silence upon his sentence finishing, she formulated her response. "I understand." She stated. "More than just the situation. I understand what you've been through. To a certain extent. Resetting... Killing out of boredom and frustration..." She paused once again, and when she spoke once more, her voice shook slightly. "Destroying countless timelines for a shred of enjoyment. Amusement... Entertainment..." She closed her eyes, letting out a sigh as she set her pizza down to the side on the box, half-eaten.

"Difference between us, though... It's quite obvious. You did what you did for a purpose. A reason. I did what I did because I was twisted. Sick. Demented. I never had a goal. Not really. The monsters assumed I wanted to leave the underground, return to my home on the surface, but I..." She was beginning to speak faster, her emotions surfacing, but she was quick to stop, take a deep breath, and regain herself. She'd never talked to anybody about this. Not even Sans. Not even Asriel. Why was she telling him? She needn't ask herself that. She already knew the answer. Because he would understand. Even better than Flowey could. But also because she might not get the chance to admit it to anybody ever again. She was severed from her save system here. She'd already tried to open her menu, but it was useless. She no longer had the power of resetting. The ability to come back after dying.
She had one life left.
One she couldn't waste.

"...For a long, long time, I was lost, Maxwell." She told him, staring down at the floor. "Lost to my bloodlust. What had started as simply an experiment had turned into a rage-fueled conquest. I wanted to know every little detail of the story I had laid out before me. I'd always reset it. Go back. Start at the beginning. When I started, I..." Her thoughts fell on Flowey. His words to her before she'd neared the end of her first genocide route. She'd done the same thing he had. Down to the letter. "I told myself that I didn't like it. That I had to know what would happen. An excuse I gave myself because... after a long time... I realized that I enjoyed doing this. I enjoyed slaughtering the people I used to call friends. I took pleasure in their misery... I don't know if everybody is like this. To go to such an extent when you've reached the end of every path to every story, except this one, which offered so much potential for brand new stories. I kept... doing this. I... I read every book... I burned every book... I won every game... I lost every game... I loved everyone... I killed everyone..." She let out a shuddering breath, forcing herself deeper into the recesses of her memories, making herself face the ugly truth she'd pretended to hide from for so long. "I was a very... very bad person." She told Maxwell quietly. "Our resets aren't that different, except I was in control of mine. Does that make me worse than you? I might be the 'good guy' now, while you're still unredeemed, but I've done far worse than you. I've destroyed my universe in so many ways... countless times... I would have gone on for longer if I hadn't been offered a chance of redemption. A friend of mine showed me that life could continue past the reset. That what apparently was an ending was only the beginning of a new story. I just had to CONTINUE. You don't have this choice, Maxwell. Or at least, you didn't. Now, you do."
Finally, she lifted her head to look at the boy beside her. "I don't know why I'm telling you all of this. Flavor text, maybe. Lengthening dialogue... or maybe it's because fate offered you this chance. You're no longer constrained by your reset. It's not here. It's gone, just like your father. You want to save your sister, but you can't do it if you keep down this path. You'll make more enemies, and some may be more powerful for any of us to handle. We have no resets to offer us salvation out here. We have one shot, and we need to make it count. So... try being the good guy, for a change. It's what she'd want in the end, anyway, isn't it?"

Clearly having talked enough to give herself time to emotionally recover from her reveal, she calmly reached down and grabbed her half-eaten slice of pizza, intending on finishing it as she secretly wished for a drink of... something. As long as it was liquid. She wasn't accustomed to talking that much, but she couldn't just hug this kid with her heart and expect him to feel better. Sometimes some situations required more talk than action.

Artemis, Drax, Venom
Camelot Castle - Dining Hall Exterior

"Asking me or our maniacal new grey friend?" Artemis replied quickly to JoJo as she aimed yet another arrow of light at the black glob, which roared something unintelligible before suddenly... melting... the Goddess frowned as she let the arrow fly, and it simply blasted harmlessly through the symbiote, opening a hole that was quickly closed up as the goop smothered itself on the grey man just as quickly as her arrow had flown, leaving the rather foul-smelling man from earlier laying on the grass, still out cold.

That answered one question.

But it only raised many more.

The muscular black form of Venom, now in control of Drax, turned to the two heroes, tongue flicking out as it brandished its two knives. "We hunger for your flesh!" It snarled, lunging at the pair once again, which, in the Goddesses opinion, was getting quite old.

Darth Vader
Atlantic Ocean

Bold talk for one who'd just fled. The sith lord watched as the being he'd just fought, who'd claimed himself never to give up, flee. Clearly he had been at the end of his rope, and knowing death at the hands of Vader was close, had tossed in his cape and called it quits. He'd dealt with many cowards, and this Sonic character was no different. It was a shame he'd expended so much effort on him for little to show, however. He would have enjoyed decapitating the blue mammal.
Then there was the voice behind him. He hadn't sensed them approaching, which was... odd. While his breathing still sounded a bit impaired, he acted as though he were fine. He'd dealt with worse, as it was.

The crimson blade vanished, and Darth Vader hooked his saber onto his belt before wordlessly turning around to face this newcomer, who was clearly interested in the sith lord. For what purpose? Well... he'd have to find out. "As the fool he is, he ran." He stated, narrowing his eyes through his lenses at this new face...

Dr. Halsey, Chief Mendez
ONI Delta Station - Underground

"Wait." Halsey told the Marine, who was quick to stop, raising a balled fist into the air from muscle memory, as it was fairly unnecessary given his company. She decided to ignore this and focus on the sound. Footsteps approaching. Light. Fast. Not what they were expecting, but on their guard they still remained.

"Wait here." Mendez ordered as he moved forward, his assault rifle leveled. The tunnel moved onward, reaching an intersection that lead in three different directions. Halsey didn't listen to him, keeping behind him as they reached the intersection, the closer thud of footsteps drawing closer, echoing down the corridors. "Which way?" Mendez asked, pointing his rifle down each exit before the doctor suddenly pulled his magnum sidearm out of its holster and she whirled about, raising it as she cocked it, aiming it directly at the head of an approaching figure.

"Behind us." She stated.

Vriska Serket
Sequin Land - Mermaid Falls

Her blade slashed through yet another mermaid just as a second beam fired down from the Giga Mermaid toward Vriska. Smirking, she'd been expecting this, hoping for it. The moment the beam was fired, her rocket boots activated, and she was thrust high into the air, avoiding the initial beam as it pummeled the ground she'd just stood.
Twirling through the air, picking up her momentum, she dove under and around the beam, nearing the Giga Mermaid once again, this time readying her blade for a heavy slash, speeding toward her, hardly even noticing Rotty atop her.

Rick Grimes
Far East - Fenrir Base

The survivor soaked in Lenka's words, before nodding and scratching the back of his head. "Thanks." He replied, mind now wandering on to what else these simulations had in store for him. That first one hadn't been all too bad, and apparently it was supposed to be a lot more difficult than he'd made it look.
He probably could have done a lot more if not for his temporary mental relapse at that moment. He probably could have kept his head in the game had he seen anybody else, but imaginary or not, Negan knew how to dig his way into someone's mind, how to burrow himself into your head, drill his words through your skull...

"I'll uh... go ahead and do that now, then." He told them, glancing around for his shoes before remembering they were in the bathroom. He snagged a clean pair of socks off the hospital bed before walking into the bathroom to get ready to leave, rubbing his silver beard as he went.

Haloverse
"That .... doesn't sound good." Volpa said in response to the noise. Okimi summoned one of her guns. It appeared in her right hand. Gao nodded in response.

Goldenwalk
"That'd be appreciated kid." Alina said. The android was quite heavy. She had had difficulty moving her, though the help from the blind girl was greatly appreciated nonetheless. "Though I don't know where to find the right equipment for that."

“Yo.”

“Yo.”

Sans and Belowski gave off a similar vibe, and a similar stature at that. Although while most would be alarmed at the image of a walking talking Skeleton, Belowski wasn’t even the least bit shocked.

"how's it goin'?" Sans asked rhetorically, returning his attention to his first customer. "what can i get for ya, pal?"

“A burrito would be awesome.”

Despite the fact that the sign said ‘hot dog stand’, Belowski ordered a burrito anyway. Belowski having a smile frozen over his face, Same as Sans with his wide grin, which seemed impossible for a skeleton to have, but he didn’t seem bothered by the thought.

Name: The Contessa
Location: Mermaid Falls.

The Contessa looked upon the mermaid army crashing with each other, growing bored of the confrontation. She examined as they tore each other apart, Metal on metal, flesh on flesh. A symphony of violence that she sparked. The Italian Countess whipped her hair back into position, unscathed from this battle.

“This is becoming quite the distraction. Our ‘guests’ have overstayed their welcome.”

She blinked, her eyes glowing a thick neon green. A series of rapid flashes came from her eyes, directed at Giga mermaid herself. It broadcasted in a cone, the Contessa being the starting point. While the zombie and troll were attacking, Contessa could prevent any further delays by holding the mermaid.

“We won’t strike.” Carolina said, her platoon lowering their weapons.

“Lucky you.” Numemon said, lowering all weapons except his high tech missile launcher, putting an eyeball to the red dot sight.

“What he means to say...” Doug clarified, pushing Numemon’s weapon down. “Is that we are lost, kinda thrown into all this craziness when we-“

Doug was interrupted by Carolina’s team arming up again, aiming in a circle, hundreds of footsteps heard rumbling in the distance. He and Numemon looked around them, Numemon’s eyestalks scanning in two different directions, looking for their intruders.

“Wha-what is that??”

Kidomaru
Wightbeard’s Ship

“So, where exactly are we taking that thing?” Kidomaru questioned, leaning against the side of the large boat, looking down below them. In the water was the lifeless body of the kraken they’d slain, with some sort of ectoplasmic rope tied around it, pulling it behind the ship.

“We’re gonna sell it, lad!” Wightbeard replied, standing at the head of the ship, looking out at the ocean around them, as if looking for a spot to dock. Alas, so far, nothing could be seen in the distance but water glimmering in the warm sunlight.

“Sell it? Who would want to buy a kraken?” Kidomaru raised an eyebrow. “Seems like a waste of space.”

“Right you are, the body’s worth next to nothin’!” the spirit confirmed, “the flesh is all tough and tastes bitter, and its skin isn’t strong enough to make much. However, in the critter’s tentacles, there’s some top of the line rare venom, ye see.”
“And the venom is what makes it valuable,” Kidomaru guessed.

“Correct. So, we’re gonna be headed to the dock at a dear ol’ friend of mine’s place, she’ll be happy to buy this fleshbag.”

“What’s she even gonna use the venom for?” Kidomaru questioned, propping his elbow up on the side of the ship and resting his chin on his palm.

“Wish I could tell you, lad, but she’s good at keeping that secret,” Wightbeard stated, before suddenly, his eyes widened. “Blimey! Land-ho!”

Kidomaru, unfamiliar with pirate-terms, was confused for a moment before following the pirate’s line of sight, and noticed an island in the distance. This wasn’t like those other islands, either. No, this looked like an island someone could live on. It was quite large, and there seemed to be a healthy amount of forestry. A few hills dotted the mostly grassy terrain, but the most eye catching thing on the island was the large tower positioned in the center.

“Mighty lucky we are, I was expectin’ a moon to pass while we were luggin’ this ol’ critter!” Wightbeard exclaimed. They quickly began to near the island, and Kidomaru felt a bit uneasy looking at that tower. It looked ancient, moss coating the stone bricks that it was made out of. There were no windows, so he couldn’t quite see the interior. The entrance- a steel gate that looked more like a barricade than an actual way to enter the tower- was also somewhat covered in moss.

“She could use a fresh coat of paint on the place,” Kidomaru commented, causing the ghost pirate to roar with laughter.

“You’re right about that, she’s a landlubber who doesn’t even take care of her land!” Wightbeard nodded. The ship began to slow as they got closer and closer, until they were above the island. Wightbeard hovered away from his position at the front, and grabbed something on the side of the ship. With one motion, he threw down a rope ladder.

“Haven’t used this dusty ol’ rope in years,” Wightbeard stated. “You’ll be needin’ it, though. I’ll see you inside.”

The spirit vanished, leaving Kidomaru alone on the ship, aside from the many other spirit sailors that were likely below deck.

He placed two of his six arms on the side of the ship, leaning over to get a good look at the rope ladder. It was just long enough to reach the ground, luckily. He leapt off the side, angling himself so that he could reach the ladder. As expected, he was able to grab onto it with two arms, and began to rapidly descend. When he reached the ground, the tower looming ahead looked a lot taller than it did originally.

He looked around for a moment, back at the kraken, then to the tower again, and began to walk towards it.

Maxwell
Maxwell sat, silent, listening to the words the girl was saying. She spoke about her own experiences that related to his- genocide. Resets. Time loops. Destruction. All things that he’d either done or been cursed with. Surprisingly, even to him, her words didn’t fall upon deaf ears. She especially seemed to hit a soft spot when she mentioned what Lily would have wanted.

That was something he’d thought a lot about already. He knew for a fact that Lily wouldn’t approve of the path he’d taken- she’d give up her own life to save someone else’s in a heartbeat. But until now, it had seemed like the only option. He’d never really had anyone want to help him before. Violence had always seemed like the only solution… the only way to break that time loop, the only way to mass produce starites, and the only way to save her. and yet, here sat this girl who’d been tied down to the cruel fate of curiosity, timeline manipulation, and abundant power- she’d fallen on the same path, but now she was a pacifist.

If she could go back, did that mean he could too?

He took a deep breath, before looking up at the ceiling.
“Being a good person wasn’t much of an option back home,” he told her. “I wasn’t always like this. I used to be just like Lily. Kind. Caring. Helpful. But… as soon as the time loop started, it became kind of clear that we were the only two. Everyone else in our universe was too selfish to help. They were all more interested in their own minor problems to even listen to me beg them to help unfreeze her. Even if I helped them, they still didn’t care. All I got were these.”

He extended his hand, and suddenly, an object appeared, levitating above his palm. It was star-shaped, but the sides were curved. It was yellow, but white in the center, and shone quite brightly. It looked glassy, but at the same time, soft. It was transparent as well, but barely.

“The Starites I mentioned. Enough of them was supposed to save her, as I said. Helping people gets you Starites, but they don’t even *intend* on giving them to you. It’s more of a side effect than a reward. No matter how many people I helped, nobody bothered to help me in return. And even if I got all those Starites… well, the time loop took effect at the last second.”

He set the Starite down on the ground. “I guess after a while, being surrounded by selfish people made me selfish too. All this time, I’ve thought about getting her back. Not what she wanted… maybe you’re right. Maybe there is a better way. Or maybe not. Guess I’ll have to find out.”

Name: Keyblade Trinity Squadron (Andrew, Malcolm, Renee), Kyuseishu
Location: Specter's Ship

Shotguns, chainsaws, hellfire, death armor....this guy is one hard rock soundtrack away from being a walking stereotype.

Malcolm paused a moment to cast a quick Cure spell on himself given the stiff shot to his gut from this monster of a man to tend to that injury before he saw him charge with a chainsaw as Malcolm raised his Kingdom Key Keyblade and the two weapons clashed.

Sparks flashed in the air as the two weapons clashed, with occasional bits of the chainsaw blade breaking off as the Keyblade remained strong but while the weapon seemed to hold up well the physical difference began to show as Malcolm was driven back by the Doomslayer who easily was the stronger of the two though Malcolm had displayed some shocking strength much as Hiro did to not be pushed aside like a ragdoll. Still he was gonna be eventually backed before the chainsaw would break so Malcolm needed a shift in tactics and as such made one as he shifted to the side and lowered the Keyblade as the chainsaw just sailed past him as Malcolm quickly lept over and delivered twin slashes across the shoulder blades.

Clang!

The blows left faint scratches along the armor but amazingly it held strong. Malcolm inwardly frowned as he had not guessed the suit would be so thick and avoided a counter swing from the chainsaw as he gained distance. Flynn was keen to not lose sight of Malcolm as the two stared down momentarily before Malcolm let out a chuckle.

"Alright so what is your story? Dead parents? A lost love? A puppy that was put down? Come on the edgy aesthetic needs the proper cliched origin." Malcolm asked, and without missing a beat Flynn was quick to respond as he reloaded his shotgun.

"Lost a bunny. Her name was Daisy."

A shotgun shell fired within that moment just as Malcolm barley deflected it, and he moved to try to avoid the successive shots as magic formed at the tip of his Keyblade.

"Gravity!" Malcolm called out, firing a sphere directly at Flynn, as the Doomslayer felt the gravtational force work to try and pin him town as his teeth grit and Malcolm jumped off a wall to try and capitalize on the presumed stuck Doomslayer with an attempt to strike the head which was left exposed and ideally would be a quick kill.

Smack!

But somehow, Flynn managed to move in spite of the increased Gravity as he raised his shotgun hand to smack at Malcolm's wrist to just avoid a decapitation; though a graze to the cheek drew blood as a sluggish but strong kick in spite of the gravity sent the Trinity Squadron member flying back as he landed and clutched his gut.

This guy....he is far from normal, that is without question.

Still, before Flynn had a chance to slice at or shoot the gravity sphere at his chest plate that slowed him in his place, Malcolm unleashed a Blizzard spell as a wave of ice shot at Flynn and within a minute succession the demon slayer was stuck frozen in place. Malcolm shut off the Gravity sphere and examined the presumed statue, perhaps this would keep him quiet going forward...

"It would be unwise for one to reveal their full hand until they know what they are dealing with. Until a partnership becomes secure it simply risks revealing one too many secrets...if you can respect that." Kyuseishu's avatar replied simply as that mask once more betrayed no expression as he made his condition for these methods clear.

Until he heard those words from the mouth of the advanced simian than it would not be of interest to share how he planned to make his world a reality.

Name: Caulifla
Location: Camelot

A....talking skeleton?

In truth, that had not been the weirdest thing Caulifla had seen in her life. In fact the Saiyan rogue had seen a fair number of odd entities even before she was exposed to a larger multiverse thanks to Cabba. Still though this was not something you see everyday and to make matters more curious he seemed just as lazy and lethargic as her previous opponent.

Man these two need energy drinks or something.

Name: Toph Beifong
Location: Goldenwalk

Toph would have rolled her eyes had it not been for her vision, but needless to say Logan's answer had not pleased her and she it be known as she stomped her foot once more and another barrier appeared before Logan; one longer as to prevent him from easily walking around it.

"Unless you magically stop limping on the spot you are not "fine" by any measure. Until you tell me what is wrong you are not going anywhere." Toph explained, though as she spoke to Logan she overheard Spider-Man mention the limp robot Y she had been draging and talked about how he could possibly fix it.

"Well, if it means I can stop dragging her then by all means. Do what you gotta do."

Name: Ogremon
Location: Saudi Arabia (Halo)

Ogremon remained tense, more out of habit even as the leader of the party seemed to give the order to stand down though gradually it lowered its club as while it was trained for a fight he knew the time and place on rare occasion and this had been one of those occasions as it listened to the woman explain that they needed help.

Before a deathly shriek was heard in the air.

Ogremon heard the sound of footsteps, and rather than concern or annoyed dread like the marines Ogremon had a growing grin as it readied the club and scanned all around them.

"So, any clues on what those noises might be?" Ogremon asked as he moved by the leader though focused his gaze outside the circle curious to know what their new enemy was.

The Hunter
Specter's Ship Pipotron Chamber

The Hunter's support of Hiro may of been a wrong one, from the standpoint of 'big bad guys you shouldn't fight'. Then again, the Hunter had proved quite a bit that the strength of his adversaries was not something he truly considered. He was still in the mindset that death was trivial- that he'd wake up once more in the dream, ready to hop back down in the fray. He had considered that he would be sent back to Yharnam after an inevitable death, sure, but never really considered.

Regardless of his the questionable choices of combat, the Hunter had Hiro whisk him off his feet, spiraling off down the hall. Following closely after them, an electric twister, bolts firing wildly, and the other two cloaked arses in pursuit. However, it had given the hunter a slight idea- while it may of been another one of his less intellectual moves, he tossed the gas filled cocktail at the tornado. His plan was that the cocktail would pass through it, ignited by the bolts, and explode in their pursuers faces.

This, however, did not happen.

The molotov was swept into the storm, and ignited by the lightning. But it never left- exploding within the tornado. Unwittingly, the Hunter had stopped it in it's entirety- because, magical origin or not, the heat had been extreme enough to interrupt it. One problem dealt with, but two problem makers were quickly closing in on the duo.

And he was out of molotovs now.

But not oil urns. Quickly snatching one out of his jacket, eager to put something in his empty hands, he'd need these fellas to do something that wasn't a vicious wind. Which was unlikely, if they caught on to his lack of fire power. He did have that canister of plasma, but he had better places to use it that on these clowns. Perhaps if he doused their cloaks...

"Hiro, take one of these." He tossed the urn in his hand to the boy, taking out another one of his own. "We're gonna soak these bastards and set em' on fire."

Eileen the Crow, Ridley
Central Yharnam Alleyway - Sewer Access

The alleyway had led to a small sewer grate. Just big enough for people to fit in one at a time. It was awfully convenient, but Eileen couldn't complain. "Down here, here we go..."

And soon enough, everyone had entered into a dangerously cramped, dank sewer. Puddles of waste around their (hopefully) booted feet. Some of the more paranoid individuals had prepared themselves for some sort of pursuit, but...whatever had been chasing them had stopped. Most of Yharnam's beasts had short attention spans, though this could've easily been a non-native beast...Which, hopefully, would share that attention span.

"...I think we're okay. For now."

But they weren't okay. Ridley had already seeked and found out an alternate entrance to the sewer. Landing atop some squirming forms, too weak for him to even consider worthy of acknowledge, he found that they were too tight for him to soar through. Maybe if he crawled. But his form wasn't constrained anymore. He was still figuring out this device he had procured, but he had gotten one form to work...

In a green flash, his draconic form had given way to a more wolf like one. Having lost his wings for a sleeker four legged appearance. Though his sharpened barb of a tail and wrinkled scaly skin remained intact. He looked more like the beasts he judged so harshly...heh, no matter. His intellect far surpassed that of the shambling beasts he continued lambasting.

He sputtered away into the sewer, stepping through the murky waters.

Which was not heard by Eileen. "Well, the sewers may be a tad snug. I...think I know the way from here." ...Just when she thought she had Yharnam all mapped out in her head...ah well. The Sewers needed to meet somewhere. "Keep your eyes open though- there are rats and boars about and they got a nasty bite."

Raiden
Camelot Castle Training Grounds

"Hey, wait!" Raiden shouted. They...they were just walking away?! Just the consequences of battle? The doozy kid just said something about stone and brick being easily replaced- gave the girl a hug, to her own surprise, and wandered off to...a hot dog stand. That Raiden was certain wasn't there a few moments ago. And then the girl went too! Leaving him alone in the sullied crater.

Fine then. He'd just need to...Tell someone in charge? That Sonic guy...The big guy on top, yet he would also be busy. Maybe his adviser? The young girl with the stick.

Either would work, though perhaps they'd find his announcement inconvenient. He stepped out of the crater, taking another look back at the kids. Hopefully they wouldn't get in too much trouble for this...Then again, he didn't have to tattle on them either. After all, Raiden was no stranger to causing property damage. He did not want to look at the bills he left behind in Abkhazia...

And with it, Raiden was gone. He realized he hadn't answered that girl, but he had a feeling she wouldn't be too hurt over it...

Jetstream Sam
Camelot Castle Woods

"Of course- I don't think there was ever a limit on who goes in and out. You and me? We slip in no problem." Azula and him were human enough to pass without raising questions. Azula more so than Sam, but he got in without incident. Bowser may of been tricky, but a bit of sweet talking...or perhaps, just not bringing him up, would slip them right through the gate.

And before long, they were at the gate, stepping past a guard. A dozing guard. Sam hadn't put two and two together, not yet at least. The napping guard briefly awoke at Bowser plodding by. The mobian had an incredulous look for a moment...before shrugging and going back to sleep. Must've thought it was a dream. Made it easier for them both, Sam would bet.

"Well, here we are. Much slower town than I remember it being though..." Sam commented, looking over the now drowsy town. "Looks like we are in the clear. Though Bowser, friend, don't make any fights. And remember- stay far away from that Vader."

-----
Kiran
Camelot Castle Town

The Skeleton? Did he do this? Quite possibly, but he was sleeping too...Unless he did that to blend in. "Yeah, he was just-"

The skeleton, and the entire stand, was gone.

"WHAT! He- He was just here! He-" Where could he have gone? There was no humanely possible way the hot dog stand- and all traces of it -could just suddenly disappear. Not even any snow on the ground...

Maybe he was responsible. Why else would he disappear? No, no. Kiran must've been too stressed out between everything already, then the nightmare, and...argh! Nothing. Was. Making. Sense.

In utter frustration, he found himself pacing in circles. Okay. The stress was just getting to him. The skeleton- the hot dog stand- a hallucination, conjured by stress. Breath in, breath out. Everything would be fine- everything was rational. Everything would make sense. What did he need to do? Fix the helmet's comm system. So it didn't destroy his eardrums next time he flipped it on. Yes, he'd focus on that. Nothing else. Except maybe Bro. He seemed sort of smart. Maybe he could help.

One last breath out, and he stopped pacing. "Alright. Okay!" He walked back to Bro with new resolve. "When I came here, I fell on my helmet. Good for my head, but not the radio inside it. And when I was sent here, I was aside two people. My friend Sarah, and a flaming mercenary. Literally, she sets herself on fire. So I need to fix it. Let's...go back to our room. My wanderlust has been fulfilled today, trust me."

If he fixed the radio, he could contact one of them. Hopefully the former. Bro probably wouldn't mind going back, but he didn't seem like the type to wait around either. If he didn't want to head back with Kiran he didn't necessarily care, but maybe the mention of a woman would make him want to fix it...if he wasn't still caught up in chasing after Artemis.

Knowing Bro, even only for a few hours, Kiran figured that he was still deep into the latter.

Sarah, Samus, and the Flamebringer
Mountainside Woods

"We pursue him then." Samus resolved. The power Sonic possessed was great, but they didn't necessarily have a common threat necessitating him. Not yet, at least. Seeking him out wasn't for power, however, but for information. An essential piece, if Arthur was native to wherever this was.

"I guess we are all going then. Let us find a blue hedgehog! Come, sparky!" The Flamebringer was speaking to Sarah. With some sort of 'affectionate' name.

Sarah took offensive to that one. "Hey! I'm the Thunderhead." She began following after the group. They'd all seemed to begin moving out at this point. "It's important that I take on a serious name. I'm not going around calling you sparky, am I?"

"...Aren't you a teenager?" Despite being the one she pinned as a nemesis, the Flamebringer...really just saw her as a childish nuisance. Which was probably why she didn't actually know her age.

"I'M TWENTY!"

And her 'nemesis' snorted. "You act like one."

"But I only did it cause you called me Sparky!"

"Is it not accurate? Your axe sparks. Your fists spark. You have no thunder. You are not a thunder, you only have a head!" Thunder was the noise, not the actual action. So...she did have a point.

"Lightninghead doesn't sound as cool though! Thunderhead rolls off the tongue! And doesn't sound so lame! And is a word! A thing! I think!"

Samus sighed. This would be...a long walk.

...

"You can give me the name lightningy. Sparky just sounds too buddy-buddy, okay? We aren't buddies, we are nemesies...Nemesi!" However Sarah came to the former was less lame than the latter...Samus was right, it was a long, long walk.

"Fine, lightningy. That's your nickname." This was still pointless to the Flamebringer. But entertaining.

But to some people, like Samus...they just went on and on about pointless, inane things. They could've spent the time doing something productive, but they just actively went on about the nickname 'Sparky' and the name 'Thunderhead' and just way too many trivialities. And, now at the ocean's edge, the bounty hunter had just about enough and the perfect excuse to cut it off before a new one started.

"Look, if you two are done squabbling as you have for the past half hour at the least, we've made it to the oceanside."

Sarah took a cursory look around. Samus wasn't a nemesis to her, so she didn't really mind being belittled by her. "I don't see him...Wait, is that him?" A blue blur, clashing with some black and red one, hardly legible in the distance. Or speed? Maybe both.

A brief discussion unfolded. Scans confirmed who it was, and it was indeed Sonic. Samus would be the only one able to reach him...if she had her speed boost.

"Sadly, I don't. I only took the absolute essentials. But good news: looks like he's coming to us."

Water seemed to splash up around the inbound hedgehog. Waves chopped up by his speed.

"No kidding he's fast. Running on water..." For that, you needed to be super fast. In Sarah's professional opinion.

"For a hedgehog, he does not appear very hedgehogish." The mercenary was expecting a much smaller individual. As he approached, he wasn't exactly a hedgehog in more than name. Maybe if she squinted...

No matter what though, he'd be there in no time. And literally- it was probably seconds before his arrival.

Priscilla, Jackson, Quint
Goldenwalk Streets

Quint piped up first. "So he's killing for rocks, and he's gonna use those rocks to kill. So like Thor said, both."

"But he isn't killing them with the rocks, is he? He's using the power inside the rocks to kill them. All at once. Right? So now we know. Psycho Geologists kill to get rocks. Regardless of whether or not they use those rocks to kill others." Jackson's ability to continue a pointless argument was nearly unparalleled...if people fell for it.

"Okay. That makes sense."

"...Oh. I was expecting more resistance."

"Well, it makes sense. He's using the rocks not to specifically kill them. Just using their power or whatever. So it's the power within them to blame, not the rocks." Quint shrugged. He didn't know the full context, and the explanation from the raccoon and Jackson's interpretation seemed to be solid enough. It was a silly question in the first place.

"Alright then...Hey, big guy, Wario, you got any interesting stories? You look like an adventurous fella who's got some stories to tell about his motley crew." Jackson wasn't particularly a fan of the guy, but he spoke a big game to match his body. His stories were probably overblown, but those made for the most entertaining ones. That's what they did for movies all the time, anyways!

But Priscilla didn't busy herself with that. More auras was a...curious thing for Lucario to bring up. "More auras mean more people, right? So...Where are they?" Could there of been people burning the midnight oil?...No, that couldn't have been it. Those people probably ran once the police force arrived. Or those weird guys. Soldiers down the street?...No. Even in the darkness, they should've been able to see something ahead.

"Can you tell where they are?" Priscilla was thinking of all the outcomes. There were probably more of those guys around, and she didn't want to get caught off guard. They could've been flanking down the alleyways as they spoke...

Silver Scythe
Goldenwalk Business District

Laser Guy was pretty quiet. Okay, a bit weird...but, Scythe was no strangers to weirdos. Like, a good chunk of the people she knew constituted of them. Being a bit quiet? Not the weirdest thing someone could be.

But he told them to be quiet. 'Told', since he still wasn't talking...finger to his lips. The Scythe didn't recognize them, but it was voices. Distant voices. At first, she thought they may of been associated with the Scorpion. But the Spider Woman and the others? They recognized them. As allies, no less. And someone named Y was giving off a signal? The Scythe didn't quite know, but if her new best bud called them cool dudes...She had no reason to not think they were cool dudes.

Of course, Gwen had already disappeared over the buildings, leaving behind the Scythe, Laser Guy, Blue Boy, and Nathan. Laser Guy was neat. Blue Boy was alright. Nathan...rubbed her a bit of the wrong way. Maybe it was just weird prejudices (and the fact he shot her up with plasma). But he did hate the scorpion as much as she did, that was for certain. So if Laser Guy was with them, they could meet up with their allies and take out the dumb bug for sure.

"You guys heard her! Cool dudes! We can meet up with them and crush that scorpion for good!" Oooh, she was saving that. Crush him under her boot. Slice him like a ripe tomato, crush him like a bug...one more quip and then she'd look really cool in the fight. "Laser guy, your with us, right? Come on! We need to catch up!"

Hornet
Arendelle Mountains

The knight was clearly on it's last legs. Between the Zeus Rage, and a combination slash between both the keyblade wielders...It was as good as dead. And as a great rumble sounded from above, the knight...snapped it's fingers. The beast on the mountain had vanished, and it did as well. The battle had concluded, them as the victors.

"Good work, Alpha." Hornet said, in a rare compliment. "Kris, you did good as well." She was very charitable today. Of course, Kris wasn't there at the moment...the boy seemed to disappear whenever he wanted, it seemed. No matter. He had assisted in his own ways.

That Knight though...How it had shattered the shackles around it. It reminded her of someone...But she couldn't let her memories corrupt the present. It was an enemy, and the enemy had fallen. And it was far from the most pressing matter.

Stepping through the snow, she was approaching the keyblade wielders. They were still roughed up and riled from the fight, but likely still had working ears. "Fumi, I assume. I am Hornet, and these are my allies, Alpha and Kris. It is good that we were able to assist you. However, our leader Maple has urgent news for you. It is of utmost importance we find her right away. All of our worlds are at stake."

Hornet wasn't one for lingering on frivolous things such as formalities. It was of utmost importance they found Maple at once.

The Soldier, Brian Decker
City of Mercy

As the Ogretail was torn to shreds, the Soldier never stopped. He just continued to bash the ever-living crap out of the misshapen, chunky remains of the beast. "AHAHA! We've done it! Because of pure PATRIOTISM!" The Soldier was under the belief that everyone in the immediate area was american. "That means you, young patriot! Engi, with your robot hand! Scout with whatever it was you did! I'm sure it was mostly screaming! And you, man in the hat!"

Man in the hat...Oh. Decker realized that was him.

"Uh. Right." He was honestly revolted by whatever happened here. The absolute splattering of whatever the hell that violent invincible thing was. "Name's Decker..."

"WAIT. You do not seem very patriotic from the outset." Soldier began rubbing a finger on his chin. "That brown jacket...the smell of alcohol..."

"I've uh. Been in England for the past couple years. Born in Chicago though..."

"AHA! I see now. This, my patriot friends...Is a Demoman, obviously!" Soldier mentally patted himself on the back for his conclusion. As he usually did, as there was clearly nothing wrong with his way of thinking. After all, Demoman was just an englishman in a dress, and this man was clearly born in Chicago, England.

"...Riiiight. Well, to everyone who isn't a crazed lunatic, my name is Decker. Work for K&O's California Branch. And I'm lost, you guys are the only people around for miles, I really don't know what just went down here between you and this ugly ass thing, and got a drink? I'm really goddamn thirsty." As Decker got down to the nitty gritty, Soldier wasn't quite sure who the crazed lunatic was. Perhaps the new Demoman was referring to himself. Because the four of them? Pure patriots of the soundest minds.

...Nevermind the fact Todoroki was much less American than Decker was.

Commander Cecil
Goldenwalk Streets

"...I could only assume so, though it is affirming to have someone confirm these thoughts. I believe my lord sees something in humanity that I cannot." Cecil scowled at the scorched remains of the drunkard. Foolish creature he was. "Regardless, we shall keep moving."

Wordlessly, the troops moved on, almost as if they had never fired upon an unarmed civilian. Didn't matter to them- such acts of brutality were commonplace in the Zeliyis Empire. Resistance, no matter how small, sowed seeds of discontent. They could not appear to have such things within their empire- after all, showing themselves a unified front was essential. If they were not a unified front, it would appear that they were losing their inherit power.

Their march stopped, however, when they came upon one. A shining blue crystal. "Retrieve and contain the crystal, men." With a salute, they went to work, grabbing it with their tongs and placing it in a containment capsule. "It's such a simple process, isn't it? Yet the energy contained within that crystal is enough to tear rifts in time and space. Simple contact is enough to break those now fragile barriers. Quite an impressive feat."

Cecil gave Chara a glance. "How is it that Elidocorc stumbled upon you? Did you utilize one of those crystals, or was it mere coincidence?" Elidocorc had an odd habit of doing something smart occasionally, but this could've easily been coincidence. He'd readily accept the latter over the former. He assumed this wasn't prying too much, but it was clear Chara walked a fine line with what she wished to answer.

Twilight could only watch in true shock as Nomad began to spaz out before her, and before she even had a proper chance to process that a sudden magical projection came up which provided some context behind this Zeliyis situation. Seems they needed to go find Star's mom and send word to a contact this mystery figure had and given the urgency of the tone they needed to do it quickly. Though as the message ended, Nomad broke down in tears as the goth girl assumed some control of the situation while Star went to comfort him. "So then, how do we get there?" Twilight asked as she moved by Star and Nomad. Now that they had a way to try to combat this threat she desired to know how they mean to act upon it.

Naturally, Twilight used her magic to produce a light blanket to drape over Nomad. Just to help support him.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Yapyap THE DESTROYER
Location: Banished and Free grunt awesome Empire fleet.

As the fleet moved on, the long duration between them and their location made a lot of idle time. YapYap had to have counted from 1 to 10 fifty bajillion times by now. Sitting on his throne of Woe, the Uggoy king got a strong case of the boredoms.

“Sigh. Who knew that going to war with one of the biggest powers in the universe could be so BORING! I’ve been on supply runs more interesting than this! UGH! Is it just me? Anybody else think that way?”

Several grunts in the room began nodding or agreeing in their own ways, the chattering of their voices talking over each other drowning out any meaning. That is, until YapYap started banging on the throne, making a loud noise.

“Hey hey! I’m doing the talking here! Anyways, imma gonna change that. If we are going to do something fun before we clog the flood’s war machine with your lifeless bodies.”

“Fun??? Hooray!”

“Fun fun fun!”

“Ooooh I like that!”

“Uhm...repeat that last part?”

It was decided(For the most part). A hail was broadcasted to all allied ships. A com channel had been opened to YapYap’s bridge.

“GREETINGS! Ow! OW! That’s too loud!” YapYap cringed as the audio Tranciever brought the volume down to acceptable levels. “This convoy is so...boring. So why don’t we hold a festival? Let’s call it uhm...uhh...grunt...mas...GRUNTMAS! Haha! So unique dontcha think? We got lotsa snacks and stuff, why don’t we make a big deal about it and all bring our delicious stuff and goods! Totally a genius move huh? Don’t worry, we are already in progress of doin’ it!”

Out of a hanger bay in YapYap’s flagship, hundreds of phantom’s, spirit drop ships, and even liches flew across the spacial void, approaching the nearby ships. The spirit dropships seemed to be holding several tents, bags, and big containers in the center of them while also carrying several unggoy for this extravaganza. The fighters flew somewhat sloppily, halfway due to poor grunt draining, and half due to everything outside ships.

Outside several of the ships were several flyers, ribbions, and tassels then flew in the wind. A grunt goblin or two hanging my a hand grip to the side of a spirit drop ship. Some even had big Meghan storage tanks that pumped methane as they went along. It was...a unique sight.

Camelot Castle, Dining Hall Exterior
"I had enough of that with the vampires, thank you!" JoJo said. He realized something quickly. This thing, whatever it was, could be hurt by Hamon. Bad. It could only attack from up close, so...!
"Y'know what, you prissy Goddess? I'll give you a hand after all!" Whipping out something from his back, Joseph landed on the ground, taking a deep breath that seemed to ring out across the room. Moments later, he was spinning a pair of clackers from his right hand. They crackled with Hamon energy, bright and yellow. "Take THIS! CLACKER VOLLEY!" With a crack of his arm, Joseph launched the pair of steel metal orbs right for Venom-Drax's head.

Camelot Castle Town, Blacksmith's Shop [Evening]

Shantae nodded solemnly. "Yeah... I know the feeling. But it's not like Z's here, right? If there's nothing you can do, don't worry about it. Just focus on getting ready to smash his smug face in whenever we track him down." Shantae gave her a grin. "I know I'd love to." Turning back to the Blacksmith's residence, Shantae tilted her head. "...I wonder when Stark will be done."

Shrouded Forest, Oceanside [Evening]
"Who's that black guy?"
"Lady Lora, stay away from the waterfront!"
Jin gripped Lora's arm, pulling her back. The raw auras he could sense from whatever was out there... it was off the charts. His very core was reacting to it.
"Samus, you're the only one who can safely reach him out there." Falcon said. "Is your speed booster working?" His question held little weight, however, as Sonic was approaching quickly. As predicted, he arrived in seconds.
"Falcon! Samus! Lucina, Robin! What are you guys- Stupid question. Crystal, right?" Sonic answered his own question quickly. "Look, you guys need to LEAVE. NOW! This guy is bad news, as in Master-Hand-plus-Ganondorf bad news." He was frantic, his words jumbling out too quickly for Lora to grasp. Robin and Falcon seemed to be keeping track, shocked at the implications.
"Well, you need help then!" Lucina replied. "We're tired, but-"
"NO!" Legitimate concern was in Sonic's eyes. For how short of a time Lucina and Robin had known him, he was quite defensive about the matter. Falcon, meanwhile, had known him long enough to get a read on his personality. Sonic was concerned for their safety. Not just because they weren't involved, but because he considered them allies and friends based on the previous tournament.
"So, what, we just stand here and watch?!" Lora objected.

The Atlantic Ocean [Evening]

Merely to ensure the safety of his own allies. A rough, almost code-like voice came from the robot. The hedgehog is quite persistent. I ensure you, he will return in moments as soon as his allies know to flee. But enough of him. I've come for you, Anakin Skywalker.

The Wilds, The Cavern
"...fine." Keda groaned. "We would make much better time without being restrained to this idiot. But fine. I'll work with it. Alpha can still run the distance."
"I..." Jaime had no response to Erza's words. "Yeah, I wish I could."
Pfft. Idiot. Let's turn him into a chair here. Show him his place!
Nah, how about a whoopee cushion?! That could be funny!
Isn't this supposed to be a serious scene? Boooooooring.

"Oh, SHUT UP ALREADY!" Jaime suddenly leapt to his feet.
Keda's eyes widened. "Jaime, is it-"
"I just... give me some time." With a sigh, Jaime stalked outside.
Keda turned to Rex when he asked the question. After a few seconds of thinking, he decided to answer. "Do you remember that tree we passed a while back? That was our first meeting. Back then, I had a twisted ankle and she was hungry. She pursued me with her pack, and I cut her leg to save my life. The pack left without her come daybreak. I... couldn't just leave her. So I decided to take her with me. Healed her leg. Fed her, but fed myself first. Trained her, somehow. We spent... what, almost a month together in this exact cave? Now she's my trusted partner."

The Wilds, Star's Wand
Slowly, Nomad nodded, rising to his feet again and holding the blankets tightly. Tragedy and sorrow still filled him, memories of the past rushing to the surface again. But Raven was right. They needed to get to work if they wanted to get to Mewni.

Arendelle, Elsa's Castle
"Get smacked!" Alpha laughed out, pumping his fist. Looking down, he smiled to see the area below clearing of enemies, the big foes defeated by their allies. Hornet handled the introduction to Fumi. Alpha waved at his name - well, his player name, he didn't go by Michael very often when not around the Dandy Alliance or when in college - but it was only when he was brought up that he noticed Kris was gone. "...uh, Kris was the kid with the emo haircut and shield, just so you know." Alpha chuckled nervously.

Maple let out a sigh, floating to the ground... before she was suddenly tackled by Hat Kid giving her a massive hug. "Ah! Eheh..." She gently put the kid on the ground. Seeing Elsa nearby, Maple decided not to go to her... if she could keep others out of the mission, all the better. Calling Lilac and Hat Kid to her, she snapped her fingers, warping back up to the hall of the castle.

Goldenwalk Business District
As soon as Gwen left, X offered his hand to Nathan. "We off?"
"...in just a moment." Nathan said. He turned to the mute man instead.
The one who rubbed him the wrong way.
He seemed like a scientist. Fairly reasonable, considering the weaponry and armor he was packing. Very scientific and physics-based, not your typical point-and-shoot like Nathan or Michael were used to. If he was from Nathan's world, he probably would have been on the team that made X and Y for the NAC in the first place. It was fair to assume he wasn't, as not even the androids knew about that Gravity Gun or whatever it's called, and all weaponry existing in the world had been programmed into their systems.
It's not like he thought the man himself was a bad person. Nathan didn't have a full read on the guy yet, but he seemed reasonably trustworthy. But... something was off. Nathan couldn't shake the feeling this man was being used as a pawn by some unseen force. The same way Doctor Green had been used by Z, back at the start of the conflict. A mid-tier pawn to lure the high-profile targets into a false sense of security and take them out when their guard was dropped. What was it Maple called it? Soldier's Intuition?
Back in the preparation for the conflict with Quill, Maple had taken the quintet across their worlds to unlock their potential. Shantae got a massive magic buff, Hat Kid got a special badge, and Shovel Knight got a legendary attachment to his spade. All three were useful in finishing their fight. As for Nathan? The Soldier. That was his name in the legends. He just got... a feeling. A glimpse of how things were going to work out. A guess, even. Nothing substantial... but it was there, and he couldn't say it was nothing. History had proven so.
"...what's your name?" Nathan asked the man, standing across from him. His pistol was holstered now, but just in case, he held his hand by his hip...

Goldenwalk Streets
"Oh no."
"Finally, an appreciation for some good stories!" Wario smirked, dismissing Mona's protests. "Though I have to admit, my throat is fairly parched. Not the best conditions for storytelling. Wish I had a drink..."
Suddenly, a strange aura appeared in Lucario's focus. One not there before... one *carbonated*.
What seemed like a blue and silver man suddenly dashed in, shining in the sunlight. The Pepsi brand was clear and bright on his chest. He ran at incredible speeds, running faster than eighty miles per hour quite casually. And... he tripped on a sewer grate, causing him to land flat on his face and skid across the street. Before Wario could so much as say a single word, the man was up on his feet again, running right up to Wario.
"Good day, fine citizen! I hear you have need of some fine refreshment!" The strange man suddenly pulled out a can of Pepsi, handing it over to the Italian.
"Uh... thanks?" Wario cracked open the can, sipping it down... and his eyes sparkled! "Whoa! I feel like I'm at the top of my game! What the heck kind of drink was that?!"
"Only fresh, officially-branded Pepsi!" Pepsi Man said, giving a large thumbs-up. "Glad I could service you, fine citizen! I leave some for your friends as well!" From what Mona could only guess was some sort of pocket dimension, the metal man pulled out an entire box full of Pepsi cans, placing it down on the ground. Waluigi touched the box, and it was nice and cold. "My work is done!" the man said with a salute. "PEPSI-MAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!" And he dashed off, leaving as fast as he came.
"...who was that nutjob?"

Goldenwalk, Antonio's Deli
"I ain't gonna ask again. Hand over the sandwich before Pine Cone here starts goin' ham on you."
The Bodega Bandit, Ghost-Spider's ultimate enemy and oldest nemesis, stood across from Antonio, the namesake of the restaurant. He was armed with a stapler he had grabbed from a trash can.
"...y'know what, just take it. I'm not up for dealing with this while the city's gone to hell and back." Antonio said with a sigh.
"Aw, nice!" Bodega Bandit dropped the stapler, grabbing the large sandwich. It was a three-meat, with ham, salami and pepperoni inside it. Cheese formed the border between the meat and honey mustard squashed against the bread, a trio of green peppers, pickles and spinach turning the bottom half green. Freshly made. And absolutely delicious.
Bodega Bandit didn't care about where he was, he just wanted lunch.
Pine Cone squeaked happily as Bodega Bandit left the restaurant, sandwich in toe. As he did, he looked around, not spotting very many places to sit down and eat. "This is a weird city. So much destruction. Gwennie'd never let it get this bad." Looking back to the sandwich, he noticed something. "Aw, nuts. You've got your bread, Pine Cone, but what about a drink? And I left the stapler behind... darn, I'm thirsty."
Rapid footprints approached from the distance. Guess who? It's Pepsi-Man again! The soft-drink superhero slid to a halt in front of Bodega Bandit, saluting him. "Good day, fine citizen! I heard you were in need of some fiiiiiiiiine refreshments?"
Bodega Bandit blinked. "Who the f-"
Pepsi Man pulled out a can of Pepsi. "I am here to provide, as always! Official, fresh Pepsi, canned with the quality we always offer!"
"Oh, cool!" Bodega Bandit grabbed the can with the hand not holding the sandwich. "Awesome, dude. You're my favorite superhero now. Well, aside from Spider-Woman."
"Superhero? Why, yes! I suppose I am!" Pepsi Man seemed to gain a bit more spring in his step. "Farewell, fine-" As soon as Pepsi Man turned around, he walked right into a telephone pole, staggering back. "How mortifying..." He jogged off.
"Nice dude." Bodega Bandit commented. Then he saw someone he hadn't expected to see. "SPIDER-WOMAN!"

ONI Delta Station, Underground
What Halsey found her gun pointed at seemed to be nothing more than a small child. His messy, unkempt blonde hair indicated he had been through a fair bit, even before coming across Halsey. Fairly normal given the circumstances. What wasn't normal, a young boy like this being in a place like the ONI Delta Station put aside, was his outfit. It seemed to be almost ancient in design, a traditional style used on Earth a long time ago. Or at least a facsimile. A dark expression covered the boy's face as he raised his hands to the air, showing no threat.

Sequin Land, Mermaid Falls - VS GIGA MERMAID
Seeing Vriska headed right for her, the Giga Mermaid was about to make a move to respond... when she was suddenly smacked across the head by a rotting leg. Rottytops had decided to attack, giving Vriska the perfect opening to go for the gem. When Giga Mermaid turned to look over at Rottytops, she caught Contessa's glare, wincing in pain.

"One question, Mr. Decker." Conagher said, pulling his glove on back over the Gunslinger. "Have you ever heard of a company called TF Industries? Reliable Excavation and Demolition? Builders League United? Because ah've got no clue what this K&O corporation is, and if my suspicions are right, ya've got no clue what in the hootenany any of us are talkin' 'bout."

"...he's going to die out there."
"ALISA!" Kota gave a snarl, turning to the girl.
"What?" Alisa looked back at him. "He's old. Unfamiliar. Apparently from an entirely different world. These 'walkers' Sakaki was going on about are nothing like the Aragami. He's had minimal training. If he goes out onto the field, he'll die out there."
"I think a mentally-unstable, trauma-ridden, drugged-up teenager wouldn't have much chance either." Lenka sighed.
Alisa turned and glared at Lenka. The team leader put his hand on his head. "Okay, sorry about that. That wasn't fair. But think about it, Alisa. He's already got survival experience, and you know what God Arcs do to people. I had two training sessions under my belt when I went on my first mission."
"And you almost died."
"But I didn't." Lenka said, straightening his posture. "Because Lindow was there. As were Sakuya and Soma. The ones who knew how to fight, who could fight the Aragami."
"Alisa... you didn't see how his eyes were, did you?" Kota asked.
"...what do you mean?" Alisa turned to her teammate.
"They're the same as yours. And Lenka's. And Soma's." Kota declared.

"Broken."

Name: Hiro, Andrew, Renee
Location: Specter's Ship

As the Molotov exploded in the heart of the magical twister, it indeed had managed to just disrupt the flow of the current as the twister gradually faded behind them though Andrew & Renee had kept their pursuit as Hiro listened in to Hunter's words

"Alright." Hiro said as he took one of the urns and continued to grapple them down the hall. Though they would reach the end soon and another room as they needed to act quickly. Fortunately as they landed it appeared that Hunter had a plan in mind so they needed to get distance and work out how to...

"Sorry to interrupt this intimate moment, but the lover's retreat ends here!" Andrew said, as he had used a wind spell to push himself forward at super speeds and delivered a kick to the side of Hiro's head; the latter barley got a block off but still the forced of the high speed kick knocked him to the side as Andrew followed him; a cocky smirk hidden in the darkness of his hoodie as Hiro worked to stand and raise his Keyblade. Though without magic, it was little more than a melee weapon and a weakness Andrew had already picked up upon as he advanced.

"So, what is your next move? Without magic you can't honestly expect to win this, or is this all part of your master plan I am hilariously unaware of?" Andrew asked with only a touch of sarcasm as he practically cackled as Hiro knew he was in dire straights but he needed to stall to figure out a way back to Hunter so he did what was natural. Quipping.

"Eh, I typically just make this up as I go along and just hope for the best."

Renee in turn, had arrived soon after and moved to face with Hunter as with Andrew dealing with Hiro she'd have to keep his ally from helping him. Her only hope was that Andrew didn't screw up what seemed a handed win over a drained opponent as she focused on his ally; the darkness of her hoodie hid her rather inexpressive melancholy painted on her face as she decided to go for a different tactic.

"Look gramps, I can respect sticking up for a buddy. It's sentimental and all that jazz, but you have to see this is fruitless and really you are gambling a lot on a lost cause that doesn't concern you. So if you just, walk away and pretend we are not here you can claim that you fought valiantly or something. IDK just make my job easier." Renee said, speaking with the enthusiasm over this encounter one expected from a college student in a lecture class as she hoped that this guy would take her hint and leave so they could wrap up quickly. Though with her Keyblade drawn she seriously doubted that would happen.

"No idea, guy is like a mad scientist. Only more of the cool uncle type than the Frankenstein type." Yang said with a chuckle, in spite of the differences the way this guy acted at times reminded her of good ole Crow. Shantae's words had helped to lift Yang's spirits if only for the immediate future as she kept that desire to make that Z pay with her fist in mind as she waited for Stark to return.

"I don't need advice on how to handle myself on these grounds. Unlike you peasants I am royalty!" Bowser declared with a growl as he took exception to being singled out. Azula avoided a commentary on the irony of such a brash statement coming from someone of a "higher" class, guess barbaric rulers are not limited to the Earth Kingdom outer districts.

"Glad we all came to an agreement. And remember, petty insults won't get you out of those cuffs faster." Erza said with only the smallest sly grin, as her attention then shifted to Jamie's little outburst which was enough to raise an eyebrow from the armored mage before he stormed outside.

"I will handle this." She assured Keda and Rex as she walked outside to Jamie as at first she said nothing; merely having stood by him before a light sigh escaped her lips.

"Lot of tension in the air, I can feel that much. Though keeping it bottled inside does nobody any good." Erza said, starting off with one piece of advice to Jamie as she hoped to get some conversation going to resolve this issue he seemed to have. Whatever it was.

-----
"Alright! That should be easy, just gotta get back outside the Wand and I can use my trusty Dimension Scissors to get back to Mewni and get to mom. Should be a piece of cake!" Star said with some usual if not inspired pep eager to get going.

"Well, assuming the Wand didn't end up falling into some ditch or something." Raven replied with some monotone as Dipper glanced once he finished jotting down the to do list and some ideas as he felt a bit nerved how casually she presented such an idea.

"A bit of a downer, aren't you?" Dipper asked as Raven glanced his way with the same neutral bored expression and offered a shrug.

"Hey, just putting it out there as a possibility. So nobody has a right to be shocked if we end up finding it in a sticky situation. Our only defense is a rock...." Raven countered back as Star scoffed at that with a grin.

"Oh I have faith in Nomad's ability to guard the Wand, I am sure we are fine.. For now we need to get going. Everyone ready?" Star asked around.

Name: Lucario
Location: Goldenwalk

Lucario listened to the request as he sighed. He'd rather not be this group's lap dog, as he knew human nature better than most. But none the less location of possible enemy agents would only be a plus so the sooner it got this request done the sooner they could move out.

Lucario's eyes closed, the familiar blue outline shinned as its ears floated up and it had a scan of the area once more trying to lock into those Aura signatures. Soon enough, he got a trace of where they were and pointed his paw accordingly.

"There."

However, just as Lucario did that another presence appeared in its Aura sightings. One that had been on the move, and moved very fast to their area as it struck a battle stance.

"Something's coming!" Lucario said as its paws shinned in Aura prepared for whatever was to come....only to see a large man in spandex and some Pepsi logo come over and offer a drink to the fat plumber. Before he knew it, the cry of "PEPSI MAN!" filled the air behind this odd theme music that seemed to play out of nowhere and just like that he dashed off.

Lucario had a sweat drop, he had too many questions....

Name: Akame, Bakugo
Location: Yharnam Sewers

"Damn it, this place smells like..."

"Quiet."

Bakugo's loud whisper was cut off by Akame, as this situation was far from desirable for anyone; the tight space and strong odor would be enough to make a certain pink haired sniper she had known want to puke, but she knew that a lack of dialogue would make them less likely to be noticed.

No guarantees, but still keeping communication only to the need to knows would lower it.

Still, as they walked something felt off. Akame's eyes were trained for dark environments, so she could see as though it had been day but while she saw nothing....but her experience as an assassin and training in the literal wild with Danger Beasts told her such feelings were often false assurances.

Akame could tell, perhaps merely a hunch but...but she knew, she knew that something was done here. But what...

Name: Fumi, Katsu, Lilac
Location: Arendelle (Elsa's Castle)

With the battle one, the nephews, Max and Kristoff moved by Anna and Elsa to see how they were.

Fumi herself listened to the story that was relayed to her....and her two colored eyes blinked in widened shock and confusion for this sudden reason Katsu appeared here with his new assorted friends.

"So wait....we got another multiverse nut out there? Isn't one enough?" Fumi asked with an annoyed sigh as Katsu had a shrug.

"Don't look at me, the masked furry was enough to deal with. But hey least we have some help with this...if you accept helping us?" Katsu asked as Fumi rolled her eyes.

"Do you really think I am that bad a friend I wouldn't give a hand with this? So since you found me so easily that means you have some way to track no? Do you have a way to get to Hiro? If we get the gang back together we have an even better chance against this enemy." Fumi said with a big grin, though Katsu sheepishly rubbed his head as his gaze shifted to Alpha.

Lilac in turn, quickly dashed over towards to Maple and before she knew it they had been warped towards the castle hall. "Okay I need to know how you do that..."

"..."
Jet looked to Silver, almost concerned, before looking back to this... "Palladium."
Reluctantly, Jet took his hand, shaking it. "...Listen, man, you gotta excuse me for being a little skeptical about this. I... have several questions. First of all, how do you know our names?... Or at least, his name and my nickname? Secondly, and more importantly, who is this God you're talking about.
As they spoke, Jet rotated his other wrist.
His blade moved, coming into contact with Palladium's crystal.
In the instant they touched, Jet stole the opportunity, reading everything he could on the shard.
"N...no way..." he thought, managing to keep a straight face. "The hell is this thing? It's sturdier and stronger than Wingding's hands..."
He "copied" the blueprint, keeping it stored away in his mental vault.
Meanwhile, he kept focus on Palladium and their conversation.

"I... do not have a drink," was all Todoroki responded to this new person, who'd seemingly showed up out of nowhere.
In his personal opinion, things were spiraling downhill.
Literally over an hour ago, he was training by himself, in his home, with his friends within calling distance.
Now he was in a strange post-apocalyptic world, facing the corpse of a shockingly grotesque beast, with a shotgun strapped to his back.
Yeah, things were definitely spiraling downhill.

Yharnam: The Sewers

The only light in the darkness was coming from Midoriya, the electricity radiating off of his body illuminating the small area of their little adventuring party. The only complaints of the sickening, dank smell came from Uraraka and Ash--by far the most immature of the group--as they descended down into the darkness, weapons at the ready.

The Wilds: Keda's Village

Damn it.
Keeping his emotions as bottled up as possible, Stain's bandaged hand intensely gripped the handle of his long katana, almost trembling at his side. He began to draw the blade.
"A killer of innocent people... tch... I should've known better than to form an alliance with a man I met so randomly," he monologued, his arm pausing.
"...No."
The blade sunk back into the scabbard, the entrance to the covering meeting the guard with a clank.
Even the Hero Killer had common sense. Whatever the hell this guy... no... this thing... was, it definitely wouldn't go down easy. He even questioned whether or not the thing had any blood.
His best option would be to leave. Formulate a plan. Perhaps find allies.
He almost smirked, remembering that last push from those three boys...
Yes... he would find something. Or someone.
Someone he could temporarily align himself with.
Hero or Villain... someone he could fight beside...

...and exterminate at the first sign of immorality.

Footsteps trudged in the snow.
As Stain walked, he observed the environment, taking note of everything he saw. The shape of the trees, the piling of the stones...
...He only stopped for a moment to look down at something on the floor.
A small object, almost like a toy, slightly dusted by the precipitation in the air.

It was small, pink, winged, and emblazoned with a gold star, somehow shiny and twinkling even in the harsh environment.

Ninjago City

As with any other stereotypical futuristic city, there were cars, people, and noises that filled the air.
People laughed with each other at cafés, teenagers walked down the streets chatting and gazing at their phones, and everything was almost normal--if there ever was such a thing.
One of the exact reasons why nobody noticed a stereotypical girl walking along them.
Of course, since it wouldn't be interesting otherwise, she wasn't exactly your average seventeen year-old teenager.
Aside from her athletic, yet feminine build, her eyes were an unnatural shade of scarlet, her brown hair carrying red-orange highlights--styled finely enough to cover the horizontal scar that trailed from the corner her eye to behind her ear.
At least she was dressed normally; a tank top with a web series logo on it, two gunmetal bracelets on both arms, a one-piece solid necklace of the same material, black jeans, and steel-toe boots, with a bag on her back, obviously carrying something rectangular and large. She also had a belt chain, with tens of circular metallic keychains across it.
...Okay, semi-normally.
Destiny took her normal route, her earbuds in as always, ducking into an alleyway between two buildings.
The familiar route... trash bags, posters, graffiti, the glowing dumpster, the occasional stray cat...
"Wait a second," she thought, turning and looking back.
Removing her headphones for a moment, she turned only to face your stereotypical rectangular trash bin with two latches and locks.
Though for... whatever reason, a shimmering light came from underneath it.
Her curiosity piqued, she rolled the wheeled bin aside with a single kick.
She looked down, gazing solemnly at the tiny blue crystal on the floor.
"The hell...?" she thought, walking closer.
Reaching down, she picked it up, looking at it.
Then she was gone.

Goldenwalk Streets

In yet another alleyway, she reappeared in a shimmering light, stumbling forward.
"W-What the hell?!" she thought once more, this time out loud.
She raised her fists, steaming and sparking.
When she was done realizing she was alone, she walked out of the alleyway to find...
...another city.
Obviously less advanced than Ninjago, Destiny's eyes darted from place to place, obviously concerned.
"...What the hell...?" she muttered, once more. She lifted a finger to her ear piece.
"Shingetsu. Pick up," she exclaimed, expecting a response. Static.
"I'm not screwing around here. C'mon, pick up."
Nothing.
"I swear to God, Rally, if this is a prank, I'll turn that face only a mother could love into a face no mother could recognize."
Still nothing.
Okay, if she wasn't concerned before, she damn sure was now.
Instead of sulking around, she ran off to the nearest street sign.
Dialing every number she could, she continued to get more and more of nothing.
Asking around, all she got out of the experience was that she was in "Goldenwalk."
...Where the hell was Goldenwalk?
She continued getting more and more and more pissed off, eventually just doing what she should've done.
Destiny clasped her hand onto the shoulder of a young man, dragging him against a wall.
"Hey, what the he--"
"What country is this?"
"Excuse me?"
"You heard the question dumbass, now answer it."
"What kind of question is--"
Fed up and impatient, Destiny slammed his fist into the wall next to him. With a sickening crack, the wall rumbled, and a dent much larger than her fist was now imbedded into the solid brick.
"...We're off the coast of Virginia, United States."
With a moment of silence following his statement, she grasped him out of anger, throwing the kid across the alleyway.
She walked away, even more frustrated than when she'd begun.
All she was left with now was some meaningless information, endless anger, and a parched throat from the sun beating down on her face.

That is a interesting story...” Rex spoke, trying his best to sound actually interested. He then perked up and pointed at himself with a grin. “Now what do ya want to know about yours truly?”

Specter looked in his reflection on the wine glass he held. His red eyes staring right back at him. It would seem Kyuseishu’s answer did not please him.

“Oh but that draw yet another question by dear guest. The question of how it would be a risk, which there are three probable possibilities. You either don’t trust me as an individual, You want to profit upon my success while bluffing your hand, or your plan would directly conflict with mine, a Cue being but natural while you wait for the right moment to strike.”

Specter, being of supreme intellect, tried to read his guest, now staring directly at his mask, looking for any sign of malintent. He couldn’t allow uncontrolled variables to exist, nothing that could foil his plan. Would he too much of a risk. What kyuseishu was remained to be seen.

"Church, mind explaining our situation to our lovely new friends?" The teal spartan asked as she took a few steps toward the inner circle, swinging her battle rifle about, scanning the windows of the buildings around them, eyes narrowed, searching for something. Anything. They were definitely close and definitely knew that fresh meat was close by.

A shimmer of light appeared in front of Ogremon's face, forming into a holographic figure, appearing very much like the female spartan the group had just met, though he was bulkier, and a periwinkle in color, holding a sniper rifle in his hands, and notably the size of an action figure.
"Hey, how's it going?" He asked the digimon. "Wow, you weren't that ugly far away. Anyway, listen. Ever heard of a zombie? Yes, no? Pretty popular in media back in the 21st century until- nevermind. I'll just assume you do. We're facing an enemy known as the Flood. Basically, they're super intelligent space zombies that have taken over the planet and I'm pretty sure the last living beings are all in this city. As in us and a few other groups. So yeah. I hope you wrote all that down, I'm testing you on it later. Where's your pen and paper?"

"Church." Carolina warned.
"What? I'm just messing with-"

"There!" A marine shouted, pointing to one of the rooftops. The others were quick to turn their attention and begin firing. "Shoot him right in the gonads!" One marine cried.
The air was loud with the sounds of firing weapons, but the form of a disfigured being ducked back toward the center of the roof of the building it was on, leaving the bullets to fire useless into the side of the building and into the air.
"Damnit, hold your fire!" Carolina shouted, but all too late. The sounds of thundering footsteps and echoing shrieks ended, replaced with complete and total silence. Nothing could be heard. Not even a cricket chirping in the background.

"Uh... yeah..." A marine broke the silence, his soft voice echoing against the buildings. "...Awkward..."
Just as he finished, the sound of glass shattering could be heard. A single figure was hurtling down toward them, shrieking loudly as it went. The surprise attack left the Marines barely any time to react, though Carolina was faster, and quickly fired into the form, knocking it off course, leaving it to splatter into the pavement as her bullets knocked it off course, keeping it from landing on its feet.

...and that was when the first battle began. Dozens of figures began to leap down from the buildings, jumping through windows inside the buildings, streaming through the alleyways toward the group, all crying out loudly, snarling, disfigured bodies hurling themselves maliciously at their targets.
"I miss the Covenant! I MISS THE COVENANT!" A frightened marine cried as he threw his weapon down, turning, and charging away from the group screaming.

Sans, Bro, Artemis, Venom, Negan, Drax
Camelot Castle

"A burrito would be awesome."
Sans shrugged in response to this, letting out a light chuckle as he lazily closed his eyes, reaching under the stand for something. "course, pal."

He pulled a hotdog out from under the stand. It was warm, juicy, and smothered in ketchup. "that'll be two coins." He gave Belowski a knowing wink.
Calmly, he held the dog out, offering it to Belowski. "and what can I get for your pal?" He asked, gesturing with a thumb toward Caulifla.

------

He stood there, propped up against the hilt of his sword, staring through his dark shades at his new pal pace about, frustrated and confused. Bro smirked, about to say something, witty, before he heard Kiran muttering to himself under his breath between his attempts at calming himself by breathing in, and breathing out, breathing in, then breathing out.

It triggered a memory Bro hadn't thought of. Not for a very long time...
He closed his eyes, trying to push it away, but when he opened them, there stood Dave in front of him, taking Kiran's place.
Pacing, breathing heavily, muttering under his breath, consumed by frustration.

"That was the weakest shit I've ever seen."
Dave turned, looking from the ground up at his older bro. He was a mess. His usually well-combed blonde hair was a frenzy, his shades were busted on his face, the left lens missing revealing his eye, the iris a brilliantly vibrant shade of scarlet. His nose was bent at an unnatural angle, a large cut on his lip was leaking blood down his chin. His clothes were ripped and shredded, the skin underneath was either bruised or bleeding. His legs were shaky, almost too shaky to stand on, but he managed, and his left arm was twisted. Broken.
All of this was Bro's fault.
He wanted to move in and comfort his Bro. The relationship they'd had was special and important to him, but he couldn't move. Couldn't speak. This was just a memory. A flashback. He couldn't go back and let his little bro know he loved him, because he did. The eldest Strider had just been far too stupid to realize it at the time.

Instead, he felt his body and mouth move for him. "Nothing to say? No witty comebacks? You're a disappointment, Dave."
Bro inwardly cringed, trying so desperately to look away. Dave's beaten and battered face twisted in grief. All Dave had ever wanted to do was impress his big bro. To be just like him... and Bro had just taken his dreams and smothered them six feet under.
This was the day that had really drawn the two apart. They still lived together after, but this was the day that had finally driven Dave away.

Tears began to well up in Dave's eyes as his dreams had just been crushed, but he sniffed, and tried his best to hold them back, glaring defiantly at Bro, still not saying a word.
Scoffing, Bro rolled his eyes as he set his sword to rest against his shoulder, before turning around and walking away, leaving Dave to lick his own wounds. He'd thought he was making Dave stronger by doing all of this, and maybe he had... but had it been worth it?

He was pulled from the memory by Kiran, who had stopped pacing and was now approaching Bro, speaking to him, informing him of his helmet, some friends of his, and a fulfilled wonderlust.
This got Bro to smirk once again, despite the twisting of his gut after seeing that... surreal memory just now.

"Well, I have a different kind of lust that could use some satisfaction." He joked to Kiran, before cocking his head slightly to the side. "I got some plans for my engineering skills... but I'll help you."
He offered, despite the fact that Kiran hadn't directly asked for assistance. He'd clearly been alluding to it, and Bro was no stranger to showing off his unique set of skills to anyone.

------

Venom-Drax snarled as they ducked beneath the clacker volley, tongue lashing out before leaping toward the wall of the castle as another arrow of light was shot at them, barely dodging it as well.
"We tire of these games!" They snarled, slamming their fist into the wall of the castle, and ripping out a chunk of stone the size of the monster itself, and flung it at JoJo.

The stone shattered into a million pieces before it even reached Joseph, a light arrow piercing through it, allowing JoJo to perform whatever counterattack he needed to as the dust from the shattered stone momentarily hung in the air, temporarily cloaking the Jostar from the symbiote.

Darth Vader

He gripped his gloved fist, the leather straining as his body began to barely shake. The water around him and this other began to turmoil once again as the Sith's breathing seemed to calm, oddly enough.
"Do not use that name." He warned, his voice slow, deep, and deliberate. "Anakin Skywalker is dead. A foolish young Jedi. Nothing remains of him.

He had half a mind to turn around and simply kill whoever this was with a quick slash of the saber, then proceed to finish off the small blue annoyance... though it was clear this being wished to commune with the Dark Lord.
Possibly, this being could get Vader closer to his goals...

"Speak while I still care to listen."

Frisk, Rick Grimes
Far East

"I guess you will."

Frisk finished her second slice before wiping the grease off on her shorts, then stood up, offering a hand to Maxwell, who'd been sitting beside her. "Thing is, you don't have to do it alone this time."

*You offer Maxwell your friendship.

------

Well, this was certainly awkward.

Rick had no idea how to respond to this conversation at this point. He was just basically called weak by a girl half his size and a third of his age and experience.
Of course, having a more critical opinion like hers was more comforting to the man than the praise he'd received earlier. It told him he was still flawed. He was still... himself.

Ever since he'd been infused with this God Arc, he'd been afraid he'd lose himself. Worse than he ever had before. So bad that he wouldn't be able to come back.
That was another reason he'd been writing those letters to no one.

To keep himself.

With a sigh, Rick rubbed his bearded chin, then placed his hands on his hips, looking at Alisa. "I get it." He told her. "You're not impressed. Got every right not to be. I won't say that this place needs me, 'cause it doesn't. But." He paused, furrowing his brow slightly, maintaining eye-contact with her. "I need this place. I'll do anything to repay the debt I owe. If my 'inexperience' is such an issue... "

"Why don't you show me what a real fight looks like. Train me."

Doomslayer
Specter's Ship, Pipotron Chamber

This conflict was clearly dragging on.
Flynn could see it, and apparently, so could his adversary.
Both were confident in their abilities, confident they could kill the other. However, despite an obvious advantage in both strength and endurance, Malcom held the edge in speed and abilities.
This leveled the playing field out between the two, though as Flynn fought against the sphere of energy, he saw the white consuming him.

Shoving away the ball instilling force upon him, his shotgun in one arm, he pulled his UAC Sidearm from his thigh, aiming it purposefully at Malcom, finger closing in on the trigger...
Only for nothing to happen.
Ice had conformed to his entire body, encasing him in a block of the frozen water.
Encased in his icy prison, the slayer could seemingly do nothing as he stood there, pistol pointed at Malcom's head, frozen in place.

However, the man remained, struggling inwardly, feeling heat rising to his face despite the cold. As he struggled to move, slowly finding some very slight wiggle room as he moved, he thought back to his singular quip at Malcom.
He hadn't thought of a response at all, the mention of a bunny named Daisy seemed so spontaneous, but... for some reason, he didn't think he was lying.
Had he ever had a pet rabbit named Daisy before?
What was that voice in his vision? The young child calling out for their father?
His mind felt... jumbled. Out of place. Like a puzzle that had been assembled then taken apart. The pieces were there, but he struggled to connect them. He couldn't find the original pattern.

As he stilled struggled with the ice, a thought burst into his head.
Had his mind been tampered with?

The ice encasing Flynn's raised arm began to shake, slowly cracking.
His fight wasn't over.

It never was.

Logan, Spider-Gwen, Gordon Freeman
Goldenwalk, Business District

She just wouldn't let it go.
The hell did she care, anyway?
Upon the rising of the second pillar, Logan let out a loud growl of frustration, his claws shooting out of his hands as he was quick to slash.

The barrier wasn't destroyed, but half of it's right side crumbled after his adamantium claws had cut through it like a hot knife through butter.
Having had his spontaneous outburst, the Wolverine slowly sheathed his claws, and with a sigh, turned back around to face the girl.
"There's a long story I could tell here, but we don't have that kinda time." He paused, glaring at her, before facing away. "These claws..." He looked down at his hands. Blood leaked out of his fists from where the claws had popped, a clear sign of his aging healing factor. Of course, it had only slowed down as much as it had thanks to the adamantium poisoning. If he had never gone through that... he'd probably still be fighting fit.

"My skeleton is made of adamantium." He informed her. "It's..." He paused, trying to think. To remember what it was his claws were specifically, before giving up and going for the simple explanation. "It's a really strong metal. A man named William Stryker fused it to my bones. That was... a long time ago. Now, the adamantium is poisoning me. Normally, I'm a fast healer..." He still stared at his hand as he watched the bloody holes very slowly begin to close up their wounds. "Not so much any more... What I'm trying to say is..."

"...I'm dying."

------

"...what's your name?"
Gordon hadn't even been offered the chance to 'reply' to the Scythe as she dashed off, leaving just Nathan, the Android, and Freeman.
The MIT graduate's gaze focused on Nathan, green eyes flashing brilliant behind his glasses.

His name... that was certainly interesting. He knew it well. Many did. He was known by all. A legend of sorts. Gordon Freeman. The Bane of the Combine. The One Free Man. The Combine's Reckoning.
Here, however...
The man pretending to be a humanoid-scorpion clearly wasn't a part of the Combine. This attack on the city was not caused by the Combine. These people didn't know him despite his familiar appearance.
If it wasn't obvious before, it was now. Scratch hadn't sent him back home to operate as the G-Man did, but instead, send him somewhere else. Perhaps this was a parallel dimension?
Maybe. The possibilities were really endless. He could sit and theorize all day but probably never get to the truth, which he assumed would be just far too ludicrous for him to actually believe.
The longer he lived, the more... unrealistic the world got.
He figured it would only get weirder from here on out.

Do not reveal your identity.
The sound of a voice whispering in his ear could be heard. The Free Man frowned slightly. It had sounded like Scratch... he was on the verge of ignoring Nathan, but...
He operated how he seemed necessary. He wouldn't be Scratch's puppet, just his employee.

He blinked, having stared back at Nathan for possibly a full minute, before raising his arm, holding something out for Nathan.

A Black Mesa ID. Still had it with him after all this time.

Almost there...

She was about to blast another string of webbing until a shout threw her off-guard, and in an effort to turn to the voice that had just shouted her name, she lost her balance and fumbled, before falling head-over-heels into the ground.

Muttering curses at herself under her breath, Gwen brushed herself off after getting back to her feet, and looked up to see someone she really hadn't expected to see approaching

Her worst enemy.

Her arch-nemesis.

"Bodega Bandit!?!?"

Vriska Serket
Sequin Land - Mermaid Falls

This was it.

The battle was at its end.

The Giga Mermaid was distracted, weak, and vulnerable.

Vriska's victorious smirk widened, her fangs protruding from her mouth as she raised her sword, eyes flashing hungrily, as though she had a lust for violence and death, which she did.

Just as the Mermaid was hypnotized by the Contessa, Vriska reached the massive mermaid, and immediately aimed to drive her sword into the gem, intending on shattering it, and plunging the blade directly into the Mermaid's skull.

Chara, Flowey
Goldenwalk Streets

They moved on, and soon came upon a crystal that Cecil deemed important. Chara found this odd at first, until the demon explained it to her. It was a device of sorts that could shatter the barriers of the the multiverse and beyond. Incredibly powerful... it was certainly interesting... not to mention enticing. She could only imagine the type of damage she could cause if she got ahold of one of these crystals.
She could destroy humanity on an infinite scale.
Nothing would survive her wrath.

Cecil then asked about Chara's involvement at the hands of Elidocorc. She smirked, watching as the crystal was contained, offering a few moments of silence after he had finished before turning her head to look at him. "I have no idea." She smiled, though her face clearly showed she knew more, though this was intentional. She liked to keep people wondering, keep them curious, keep them expecting a knife in the back, because they would surely receive one.

Atriox
Banished Fleet

"Atriox."

The massive Jiralhanae narrowed his eyes, turning from the holographic display of the Ark to face a smaller brute. All the others of his kind were almost always smaller than him. Atriox was undoubtedly a highly impressive specimen. Unusually charismatic and intelligent for one of his kind. He was the rarity of a thousand generations.

Atriox said nothing, and the other realized his leader was awaiting a reason for drawing attention to himself. "Erm- the Unggoy are causing a stir."
"Resistance already?" Atriox asked casually. "No." The brute replied. "A... erm... a party... Yapyap referred to it as a Grunt... mas..."
Atriox narrowed his eyes. "They use their human nicknames?"
The brute opened his mouth to respond, but Atriox turned away from him back to the holographic display of the Ark. "I don't care. Whatever keeps them entertained until we arrive at our destination." He growled.
Recognizing he was no longer wanted, the brute turned and quickly left.

Dr. Halsey, Chief Mendez
ONI Delta Station - Reach Underground

Her eyes studied the kid before her, though the gun never lowered even after the boy showed his sign of surrender.
After a few moments of silence, Mende, stepped forward, lightly putting his hand on her gun and lowering it. "It's just a kid." He told her quietly.
She continued to stare at the boy, eyes narrowed as her gun was lowered, before she handed it back to Mendez, never breaking eye-contact with this newcomer. "His age isn't the issue, Mendez." She replied. "His presence is."

ONI Delta Station was a high-priority top-secret ONI research facility with some of the best security the galaxy had to offer. The only way this child could have gotten inside is if he came with another ONI researcher with level 12 clearance or higher.

"How did you get down here?" She asked, setting aside the obvious question of asking for his identity.

Goldenwalk

"That's quite a twisted drawback for something that could be quite the weapon otherwise." Alina said. "Apologies if this was a conversation I wasn't supposed to hear. With my hearing it's hard to not hear things." This man seemed like he had been through a lot.

Haloverse

"Well, that just happened." Gao said, seconds after someone had taken off running. "Man, these things are freaky." Catgirl couldn't help but mentally agree. "Starting to wish I played Halo." Catgirl muttered under her breath before taking some explosives out of her utility belt. Ali's Multitrix turned blue again. In seconds, she took advantage of this and after a few turns, slammed her hand down on it. She turned into a werewolf like alien. "Anything else we should know?" Ali asked.
