The Hunter
Specter's Ship Pipotron Chamber

The Peep-on-trones as the Hunter called them, conceded their information on Hiro and Kale. However, there had been a lapse in the Hunter's thoughts- Bolt. Bolt Man? They'd taken him away earlier, and...well, the Hunter hadn't seen him since. Well, no one had since the owl fight. He told the bloody automaton is was a trap, and it was a trap!...But aside from that.

They did tell them where Kale was. With them...not necessarily good. She didn't look exceptionally well in the image either. And they had lost track of Hiro in his conflicts with the owl. So that was pointless, basically. Well, they were okay at the least...But then the Pipotrons began to disappear. A final warning uttered by the tall one, goodbyes from the mimic and the large one. And something about a surprise from the...gremlin. Eugh, the gremlin was the ugliest by far. Even the mimic looked better.

He joined the Chief in staring them down as they departed. They faded away, and as did the lights in the room. The ship left to drift towards...something. "Right buggers." The Hunter said, "They didn't tell us much at all. And I forgot to ask em' about Bolt..." He lowered Luis's unconscious body onto a crate. "Now what? I would go into the gremlin's lab, but it smells like a trap to me. Then again, tall one was talkin' about pride and justice, so maybe he wouldn't let the gremlin do that."

He looked around at the various dazed or unconscious individuals. They'd be hard to move around, even if they were awake. The damages they had suffered had been great, leaving him and the chief...Oh. There was the new woman, in the yellow armor. She didn't look rough at all, the closer he looked. So that made three of them. So they had to find Hiro and Bolt, and free Kale. That was a start.

"Don't believe I've probably introduced myself to you- As I said, the Hunter, that's what people call me." He told Hope. "Fightin' the Peep On Trones. Soon. We are lookin' for our other friends- the girl they showed us was Missus Kale. There's a black haired boy, fights with a big ol' key. That's Mister Hiro. And then there's Bolt...He's an automaton like Cutman here. I don't think Bolt is his actual name, I just called him that because he's got a bolt on his head..." He turned to Cut Man for an answer to that. "Is he Boltman? Lightningman? I can't remember. We need to find him next."

In any direction they went, there were a multitude of results. Maybe they could salvage supplies from the ship. The Monkey had some good things lying about, right? Even in the room, all the crates were stuffed to the brim with goods and parts. Those he didn't damage in the fire, at least...

Eileen the Crow
Central Yharnam

Sypha's attempts to identify Eileen's nationality were lost on the Crow. "I'm afraid I'm a bit lost on what your saying. I've been in Yharnam for a very long time. Truth be told, I've lost a great portion of myself and who I was when I became a hunter. The price the blood demands is steep." Which was essentially saying she didn't know herself. "But now is not the time to dwell on it."

She looked towards the various children and teenagers, eagerly expecting a direction. "As I said, through the city, into the sewers, and we enter the tomb. There's a mad hunter there, but then we should be able to enter the cathedral from the tomb. I'll show the way. I don't have a map, but I'm quite familiar with these streets, especially at night." She pointed down the street.

"The sewers aren't far from here. There's no time to waste- keep ya heads down and we should be able to avoid the townsfolk. They've become a tad...irritable."

Jetstream Sam
Camelot Woods

Sam's frustration only grew as Dagda talked in...big pictures. Like a simmering pot, he listened with a grimace. But...As he continued to listen...he had realized something. This Dagda? He was another Armstrong. Someone who believed so strongly in their convictions, forcing others under their control, under their grasp. Fighting was pointless. So...Why bother? Why not let this Dagda believe what he wanted? If Sam agreed or not, Dagda would get what he wanted in the end- so why not make it easier on both parts.

"...Sure. Sure." Sam told Nanashi as he offered a pouch of some sort. Sam be damned if he knew what it contained, but sure. In the interest of "serving Dagda", he accepted it. "I agree. We work for Dagda now. Of course!" He chuckled, "Me, Azula, Bowser...Why don't we work for him? Surely it is in our best interests!" He wondered if Azula would catch what he was laying down. Bowser, maybe not. But he seemed easy enough to convince.

Today had been curious and only was getting more curious by the moment. Well curious perhaps was a bad term. Today had been something else entirely, and Sam doubted it'd be being getting anything less as time moved on...

Kiran
Camelot Castle Halls

Bro worked as a name. Good, good. Now. To go and get the grey blade. "Cool, let's then...well let's go." Kiran once more took the lead, walking through the halls. He recalled the path that knight had shown them earlier. In the evening, the crowds had not faded. But it wasn't an issue. He and Bro navigated through the village. Sightseeing all the same. They'd been a bit tied up earlier when it came to that...Talking about the kid. Hopefully he was doing fine, then again he was monster summoner. Apparently.

They had walked by a blacksmith, which Kiran promptly pointed out. "Oh, hey. Would you look at that." He swore he recognized some people within it...He never really introduced himself to that group though. He and Bro kinda shuffled out when there was the whole duel going on...Which was probably for the best. He kept walking, onwards towards the ramparts.

The two eventually came to a large tower. The way to up to the ramparts. A lone guard sat outside it. Another anthromorphic type. Just like Sonic had been. "Hey, um," Kiran told the guard. "I'm afraid I dropped something up on the ramparts...Do you mind if I go get it? The King said I could-"

The guard heard Kiran, and didn't wait for him to finish. "First visitor I've seen trying to get into the ramparts...Well, I don't see the harm in it, especially since the king permitted it. Go ahead. Just don't cause a scene." Which was, honestly, a lot easier than Kiran expected.

"Oh, uh, ok then. I'll be right back then, Bro."

The ramparts were easy enough to ascend. Though there was a nice view from up on the castle walls, he wasn't going to spend much time admiring it. Instead, he saw it- the Grey Blade, in all of it's splendor. Well, perhaps a bit exaggerated, but to Kiran it was a great relief. With two hands, he hefted the blunt weapon up. One thing he did not miss about it- it's weight. Regardless, he heaved over his shoulders, the magnets locking it to his back. Good to have it back.

He returned to Bro, down from the ramparts. "Thank you," He told the guard, who gave a curt nod in response.

"So, Bro. I got what I wanted here-" Kiran gestured to the sword. "Anything you were looking to hit up? Or, uh, head to?"

Sarah, Samus, and the Flamebringer
Mountainside Conflict

The giant monster met a quick demise as Robin finished it off with some sort of...dark spell. Methods were methods, Sarah guessed. He offered a hand, which Sarah took gladly. "Thanks for the help. Now, to distract this guy..." She gripped the axe with both her hands, running towards the King and his horse. "Hey ugly!" King Arthur's gaze briefly shifted to Sarah, as she slid under the otherworldly horse. The gaze turned once more, on the other side of his steed. "Look out!"

She flung the sparking edge of the Wolf at King Arthur. Which provided a great distraction.

Menawhile, Samus and the Flamebringer had repelled the underworld forces rather well. And Samus saw her opportunity. "We've got an opening. You know the plan. We only get one shot."

"Of course." Said the mercenary, crushing the helm of a sword wielder, the last monster annoying the duo. "Let us not waste it."

Samus curled up into her Morph Ball. Compact enough to toss. The Flamebringer scooped the Morph ball up in her arms, swung around, and tossed it towards King Arthur. Five...Four...Three... Samus counted in her head. At the apex of the throw, she shifted back, and soared towards the unwitting lord of the underworld, foot extended.

The bounty hunter slammed into the King, the force of which toppled him off of his horse, smashing onto the ground. "Lucina!" She called out, struggling to keep Arthur pinned under her. She was strong, but the King was just as strong, if not stronger. Sarah ran over, wrapping her arms around one of his great gauntlets, just barely able to hold it back.

The Flamebringer busied herself with the horse. She engulfed an arm in searing fire, and wrapped it around it's injured leg. "You go nowhere, beast!" She stomped down her foot, and pulled. The King couldn't have any more support, even from something as seemingly harmless as his steed.

Priscilla, Quint, Jackson, Aisha
Goldenwalk Business Quarter

For all Priscilla knew, this Wario was an...interesting character. He didn't seem to have a reason to lie to any of them. Though his story about some bank owners giving him the money for saving them was also suspect. But, that didn't necessarily matter to her. Wario gave her information which was valuable in of itself. But unfortunately, he knew just about as much as them, so... "That's certainly a...story."

Though Lucario dragging over the unconscious body of one of the soldiers brought her attention to something. The horns they had...those were a part of their helmet, right? Priscilla reached down and gave them a tug...They felt a bit too stuck on to be fake. "I...I don't think these are human..." Were they aliens, perhaps? Monsters? Would certainly explain their odd behaviors...and what was up with their tech?

Thor was asking about a plan and yard sales for whatever reason. She'd answer the first, not so much the second. "As it stands, I think the van is to busted to keep moving in on...So we are going in on foot. Aisha, I think you should head back to the base..."

"What about you though?" Aisha pointed out. "You shouldn't be running around out in the field."

"I have to. Whatever I can do to get back Sarah and Kiran I have to do. Even if it puts me at risk. However, I feel like Jerry's been left alone for too long. So that's where you come in. You can keep in contact with the earpieces anyways. But, uh, here." She tossed Aisha the assault rifle she had taken from the soldier, who caught it, albeit not cleanly.

"...I'm not really sure how to use this, but okay...Look, just don't get yourselves killed. It would really weigh on my conscious." Aisha began to take her leave. "Uh, pleasure meeting you all. Safe travels, and all that." She told the oddball group as she left. Tonight had certainly been interesting for the woman. Half-confirmed her theories AND gave her fear at a potential end of all worlds scenario.

Jackson gave a half-hearted wave to her as she left. This Raccoon guy was more on his mind, as he tried to back everyone away from the salvage weaponry. Honestly, Jackson didn't see the appeal in hoarding it all to oneself, but y'know, there were selfish people out there. Or, raccoons in this case. "Sheesh, alright." He conceded, tossing down the rifle he had picked up. He then glanced...at the massive railgun that had been left untouched.

"...Hey. Hey Quint. Help me with that one." Jackson whispered to his comrade.

"I don't think that Raccoon's gonna like it if take the really big one." Quint had always been a more peace keeping individual- though Jackson had a way of pressuring him otherwise.

"Eh, screw him. He can have everything else. Come on, let's get the big one."

"I really don't think that's a-"

"Please?"

"Really, are going to go to ple-"

"Pretty please?"

"...Fine let's grab it."

"Hell yeah."

The duo made haste. Jackson picked up it's handle- the absolute beast of a weapon was pretty heavy, but he did manage to get it mostly off the ground. It's tip just barely hung off the ground, but Quint was able to use his telekinesis to hold it up far better. "Ha ha! Now how does this thing work..." Jackson probably should've studied it before he picked it up, but he'd learn as he went. Hopefully.

"Alrighty, we should be close enough to that scene to make it there on foot. I assume you three," Priscilla was referring to Wario, Mona, and Waluigi now, "Are going to come with us. Jackson, Quint-" Priscilla took a moment. "What are you guys doing?"

"...Taking their railgun."

"Why?"

"...Jackson wanted to."

"I really did."

This was really all sorts of a mess for Priscilla. Hopefully she could reign them in. They all different quirks and ideas, but surely she could pull everything together.

Or this was gonna get...really messy.

Silver Scythe
Goldenwalk Streets

Y'know, it wasn't going to be banana peel. Something more juicy. Tomato? Grape?...Overripe tomato. She liked that one.

Of course, the Scythe wasn't in any position to make up her lines here. Her titular scythe was stripped out of her hands, flying through the air, planting itself within some poor parked car. She was about to attempt to punch him, though it would've likely ended poorly on her part. Not that Scorpio even attempted to let her lay a hand on him- he hopped away, landing on a low building.

And opened hellfire from his tail.

The Scythe raised her armored arms, in a similar fashion to X. Her helmet and head weren't bulletproof, after all. Most of the bullets clanked off harmlessly. A few grazed the helmet. But then...the rain of bullets stopped. Instead, there was a loud clank. And another. Like it was...hitting the ground. Hesitantly, she lowered her arms...And marveled at it.

Scorpio was being flung up and down like a ragdoll, utterly helpless. "Haha, serves him right! You showed him, blue boy-" But X was not doing this. "...Laser guy?" Nor was Nathan doing such an action. Gwen couldn't be doing it...sooo...

"H-hey, who's doing this?!" The Scythe asked, half out of curiosity and half so she could praise whoever was doing this. Scorpio pissed her off, on the simple fact he hurt her new friend.

And no one would get away with that.

The Soldier
City of Mercy

The Engineer's dismissive comments were lost on the scattered brain of Jane Doe. Merasmi was on the mind and wouldn't come off of it...Until Todoroki mentioned the Blu team. Now Doe had a new objective- inform the new patriot of their dreaded enemies.

"We are a part of the RED team, a great group of morally upright individuals assembled to blow the heads up of the BLU team, a bunch of nasty no good doers who happen to look just like us! Except when a giant monster shows up. Then we agree to blow up the giant monster. Or wizard, in the same case." The Soldier had very much rounded down the basic concept, but left out the fact that they were being paid very handsomely to blow one another to smithereens on a daily basis. And what they were fighting over.

But then the Soldier got to thinking. The Blu Soldier hated Merasmus as much as he did...So why would he team up with Merasmus? This only gave more credence to the Team of Merasmi thought in his head.

"But now, there is only one thing to do! Strip this city down to it's last brick and find us a wizard!" The Soldier spoke with a strong conviction. As he often did. And by often...always. As he always did.

Brian Decker
City of Mercy

The agent trudged on, fanning himself with his hat. As much as he loved the bottle, damn if it didn't end up making one thirsty. Funny how that worked. While his dulled senses helped ignore the heat, some shade would be nice. He looked around at the buildings...nothing but desolation. Whoever lived here hadn't for a long time- windows were smashed in, sand and dust making up the lobbies of the skyscrapers, rust coating entire lampposts. The streets eerily quiet, aside from the occasional distant talking.

There was also no branding anywhere that Decker recognized. Which led more credence to the whole strangeness of the situation...was this what happened when robot aliens attacked? He thought that Lennox guy was just an idiot, but...maybe. A brief wind got sand in his eyes. "Come on." He complained, rubbing his eyes as he continued.

The voices were getting louder. He couldn't have been far now.

Hornet
Arendelle Mountains

Deputy Leader...Hornet was never much of a leader in the first place. She supposed there was responsibility behind her, sure, but the only other time she had found herself in such a position she didn't have much of a choice in the situation. Once, she didn't get left with much of a choice, silently agreeing. With a path opened by Maple, she and the others were in hot pursuit of the knight and Katsu's partner.

Alpha had distracted it with a wave of water. Kris was heading for even higher ground. It attempted to strike at them, intercepted by Katsu. Good. This had made a fantastic distraction, as even the darkness shrouded knight seemed to be in awe of the sudden appearance of the fellow key-wielder.

With swift motions of her needle, she casted a thin thread around the heartless being's key holding arm. And then pulled. Razor sharp thread grappled the knight, as she pulled back. Her interest was keeping it from swinging about with reckless abandon, though she was losing her ground...the heartless was far more powerful than her alone.

Now she just needed the others to follow up on it.

Commander Cecil
Temporary Zeliyis Relay Station

Cecil couldn't help but grumble at Chara's continued insolence. Fat italians..."This is just a situation that's become out of hand. I will deal with this, as I have for several campaigns." He told the child. "Do you recall that railgun that obliterated that chopper? Trust me. That was a weak blast. I've seen them gnaw through sheer concrete. Levy buildings. A fat italian would not be able to stand up to it. Even if they do resist our weaker firing weapons."

He pulled out a small device. A few taps on it revealed a large number of red dots, one for each troop that had an active tracker. Most were accumulated at his own position, but there were a number of scattered blips on the map. Particularly still ones. He could assume that the ones only down the street from their relay were the recent victims of Italian and any of his threats. How convenient, he and his comrade was coming to them.

Cecil's goal now was to ensure they did not reach the location. Elidocorc would remain guarding the gate alongside some engineers, but everyone else would converge on that avenue. "Attention." He said to his men, most of whom had assembled within the station. Making idle chatter, tweaking weapons. But his voice caught organized them in listening. "We are moving out again. Bring the railguns. I want them on the high ground- open fire on anyone going down that street. Do not let them close to our station. I also want two ground troops blockading the station. These individuals are unsettlingly strong. Anyone else to is to come with me- we require three more crystals to activate the gate."

And then he turned to Chara. "Child, and...flower. Join whichever group you feel fit. Your talent would be useful for either." He lacked sway over her. And if he and Scorpio lacked it, Elidocorc would lack it as well...Nevermind. Her interests had not conflicted with them yet.

He doubted those interests would change any time soon.

Líf
The Village

The once King of Askr's body creaked as he told to face Tau. "Ah...I am Líf. First King of Askr, though I doubt you know what a king is..." Líf's height matched Tau's, perfect for locking gazes. "I am a fierce leader. In life, my empire was massive...expanding dozens of worlds over. Askr truly was a land of prosperity. Glory. Would you like to know how I acquired such things? Allies. Though fate would destroy those connections, severing Askr from it's powers...and killing me. Leaving nothing more than a legacy."

Líf waved a clawed hand to his translucent body. His bones were clearly shown within. "But even in death, I find no rest. I am no longer a leader in of myself, but have found a reason to assemble a new force. A new empire. New allies." He closed his hand into a fist now. "Do you understand what I am saying? I need..." He extended his fist, and unfurled a finger. "People like you. And others. Many others."

The once King took a deep breath. "Are you following me so far?" He breathed out, a puff of cold air spewing from his maw. He wasn't sure where his new associates were, but their potential dislike of Líf's planning was of little object. The King followed his own orders. Hel herself could hardly keep him reigned in.

Much less here.

Camelot Castle Town, Blacksmith's Shop
"Yes, actually." Tony replied. "I've got this armor line I've been making for a while called the Iron Man armors. Would you mind if I drew up some blueprints for a, uh, medieval variation?"

Camelot Castle, Throne Room/Interior/Mess Hall
"Why, of course." Percival stated. "The mess hall is right this way."
Soon enough, Sir Percival and Negan arrived at the mess hall, where an annoyed Artemis was sitting with an entranced Serena and a bragging Joseph. "Sir Joestar." Percival acknowledged him.
"Ah, Sir Percival! Pleasure as always." Joseph gave a quick wave.
"Oh! Hello there!" Serena said to the group.
"I don't believe I've had the pleasure." Sir Percival said, looking over at them. "The food is just over there, Negan. Feel free to take what you want."
"My name is Serena." Serena nodded. She would have curtsied were she not sitting down.

Camelot, Mountainside
"You've got one shot."
"I know. Cover me."
The quick exchange between Jin and Lucina only lasted for moments before Lucina dashed ahead, her shield in front of her to cover her advance. Various soldiers of the Underworld attempted to halt her charge, but Jin and Lora dashed at her side, slamming them out of the way. And when Lucina reached King Arthur, she let her attack rip.
Lucina swung her sword out horizontally before unleashing a rapid sequence of slashes, ending with a single thrust forward. She flipped backwards, before charging again with a sharp vertically diagonal slash. "AETHER!"
King Arthur was slashed right across the chest, his armor broken. The light from Lucina's sword harmed him greatly. "H-how...? That blade... what... what is it...?!"
Blade Combo: Third Stage: Nuclear Blast
King Arthur began to groan and wretch in pain, before a blast of light exploded from where Lucina's final slash had struck. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGHH! CURSE YOU AAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!"
The King then slowly disintegrated, fading away into nothing but dust. The horse followed suit, seemingly having been connected to him. The Knights of the Underworld froze up, as if in shock.
Lora grabbed Jin's katana, holding it out. "WHO ELSE WANTS SOME?!"
The Underworld monsters then fled, making trail to as far away as they could.
Lora returned Jin's sword to him with a sigh, falling to her knees. "Hah... that was exhausting."
"Took more out of me and my spellbook than I'd like." Robin huffed, leaning against a tree. Lucina walked over to him, flopping against his chest and burrowing her head in it. "Who was that guy, even? 'King Arthur', he said?"
"No clue." Falcon shrugged. He was stretching, still full of energy. "Some dead ruler, maybe?"
Jin merely scanned the horizon, ensuring the monsters had truly fled.

The Atlantic Ocean
"I conquered the ocean a LONG time ago."
Suddenly, a gale of wind blasted upwards. Sonic was suddenly in the air, the water parted from his leap off of the ocean floor. Caliburn drawn, he unleashed a powerful slash that cascaded down towards Vader. As it did, he landed and ran right at Vader, swinging out Caliburn for a horizontal slice.

Far East, City of Mercy
When Soldier finished talking, Engineer waited a moment to ensure he was done. "Lemme see if I can't clear things up." Dell said. "Soldier, Scout and I all work for a company known as Reliable Excavation Demolition, also known as the RED team. RED is currently in a war with a rival company, Builder's League United, also known as BLU. On behalf of Redmond Mann, we fight in a conflict currently called the Gravel Wars, meaning we're trying to take BLU's territory and vice versa.

Moments after Frisk awoke, Blaze was on her feet again, glancing around. "Silver, where...?"
"Dunno." Silver said, using telekinesis to lift himself up. "This is where we woke up after... uh, HE fought us. No clue where this is. You wanna-"
And like that, a small fire smoldered where Blaze had just been standing.
"-do some recon- Ah, nuts. Guys, Blaze ran off. Jet, wanna come find her?"

Specter's Ship
And like that, the Pipotrons were gone.
"Elec Man. His name's Elec Man." Cut Man clarified.
Hope nodded to Hunter, signifying she understood, before returning her gaze to Scott. "Yeah, Scott, I'm fine." Hope reassured him. Then the lab was mentioned, and she looked over to Cut Man. He was damaged badly. "What kind of lab is he talking about?" she asked.
"The monkey with the creepy monocle was some sort of inventor, I think? Certainly knew his way around technology." Cut Man replied.
Hope tapped the side of her helmet, opening it up. "Lead the way. If I can figure out to use his tools, I can get you back on your feet."
"You're a mechanic?" Cut Man asked.
"I learned a few things from my father."

---

Flint sighed, allowing the mirror to collapse. "In all honesty... I'm not sure. He contains power far beyond that of a God. I wish I knew of a way, but..."
Flint turned back to Hiro. "Focus on the task at hand. When this mission is complete, call for me once again. Hopefully, I can have more information for you by then." Flint opened his hand, and a locket suddenly appeared. The mage handed it to the Keyblade wielder. "It's one use only, so make sure not to use it when you have distractions. I have someone I must drop into your care and more information you need to know, but I cannot stay. My excursion here has already opened up more cracks in my defense against Zeliyis. Only after your task is complete. Understood?"
With that, Flint began to glow. Particles of light came from the man, before he vanished completely.
"I entrust the safety of our multiverse to you."

Sequin Land, Mermaid Falls
"You... you CAN'T stop it?!" Rottytops was frantic. "Oh no. Oh nonono Giga Mermaid's going to kill us-"
As predicted, the screech was soon enough followed up with a psychic blast. Rottytops' body exploded, her head flying away. Two large hands slammed into the ground behind the group, and a loud roar came from it.
Behind them stood a towering green woman with glowing blue eyes, a crystal on her head surging with energy. Her waist revealed the mermaid tail connected to it, if the gills and the sea shells covering her breasts hadn't been enough of an indication.
And she was roaring with fury.
BOSS: GIGA MERMAID

Goldenwalk Business District
"Doctor Freeman. Of COURSE you would get involved."
The moment Scorpio hit the ground, he launched off again. Springing into the air, he launched shots at Freeman in an attempt to disable the gun. X flew in front of the bullets to protect him. "First law of robotics." he muttered to himself before Scorpio landed on him. X remained in the air, throwing Scorpio off. The soldier used his tail to latch onto a nearby wall as X flew back, attempting to regain his balance.

Goldenwalk Streets
Waluigi haphazardly kicked one of the soldiers, knocking off the helmet. A pair of pointed ears popped out with the rest of the head. "Looks like they've-a got elves and stuff too."
"What are these guys, the techno-fantasy armada?" Wario chuckled at his own joke, which surely no one else would. When he saw the pair struggling with the railgun, he decided to show his benevolent and kind-hearted nature in offering them his assistance. "If there's one thing Wario has, it's strength, because I've got abundances of it!" Wario casually took the railgun from the pair, slinging it over his shoulder and lifting it effortlessly. "Where do ya want this?"

The Wilds, The Village
"I follow you." Tau said. "But why should I follow you? My village already has all the tools and connections it needs to sustain itself. We have no need of a dead man and his army of graves."
Truth be told, however, Tau was terrified. He was keeping a straight face, but in the face of this man... all he could feel was just how wrong it was. How wrong he was. At the very least, it confirmed his suspicion something had happened to his son. Hopefully, whatever had brought Líf here would bring his son back to him...

The Wilds, The Cave
KEDA!
FATHER!
The wind roared across the cliff. The bison wasn't stopping, its horn caught on Keda's hood. The young boy was pulled along by the beast... until he was flung off. Now, only air was beneath him, and he was falling to what was sure to be his death...
Keda gasped as he slammed against the ground. Looking around, he saw a strange gridded floor beneath him. In front, a large truck blared its horn. Keda ran from the strange lights and sounds... and tripped.
When he rose to his feet once again, bright, deadly lights shone around him. He was back in the Warzone. Hundreds of men were fighting, killing each other like wild animals. One came from him with the strange horse on wheels. Keda knocked him off, climbing aboard as if on instinct.
But he had never rode whatever this was before.
How did he know how to?
He drove. Keda drove, sharp shots coming around him. What were those weapons? Those men? The giant metal constructs?
He soon fell off, a hand pulling him to his feet. The red-haired woman.
"Are you alright?"
The only voice he could understand since the fall.
"Hey, c'mon!"
And another. The boy with the green vest.
A hail of bullets suddenly racked the area, obscuring Keda's vision. When the dirt cleared, a large beast of a man, armed with strange weapons Keda couldn't even recognize, stood. He yelled, and Erza yelled back.
And moments later, bright lights came from above, as if the sky itself was falling upon him.

Keda awoke with a start. Between rapid breaths, he looked around, seeing the various others. Rex and Erza were both there, the former sleeping soundly and the latter keeping watch just outside. Their other companion still seemed to be a bonfire. And Alpha was at his side, concerned.
"I'm fine, Alpha." Keda said in his natural tongue, slowly petting the wolf's head.
But that brought up a query. His natural tongue. How could the others understand him? How could HE understand THEM? Clearly they didn't speak the same language.
Keda looked up to the sky out of the cave, the stars shining brightly overhead. Perfectly in place. He was where he knew. He recognized this place. He knew what to expect.
Get some rest. It's a long journey home.
Keda slowly rested his head against the floor once again, drifting off to sleep.

Arendelle, Elsa's Castle
The dark spell Katsu hadn't blocked collided with Alpha's Orion Shield, having been raised just in time. Alpha grabbed the shield, tossing it out towards the Heartless General. The spinning disk barely missed it. Thanks to the distraction and protection Katsu had given him, Kris leapt off of the ledge, his sword stabbing into the Heartless General's shoulder. Landing on it, Kris stood on the Heartless General, forcing his sword down deeper. Alpha, meanwhile, prepared a Zeus Rage to follow up.

"Hat Kid, Lilac, get clear!"
As Maple touched down in the middle of the group, she unleashed another Spell. "BONFIRE!" As she threw down the blast of fire, flames erupted in a sphere all around her, incinerating the closest Heartless to her and sending those caught on the edge reeling back. Hat Kid, meanwhile, was driving around in her scooter now. Tipping it on its side, she tripped over a large Heartless before leaping onto it and smacking the shit out of it with her umbrella.

Trevor couldn't help but spit in disgust. "I've had enough of navigating fucking sewers for one lifetime."
"Trevor!" Sypha glared at him.
"What?"
"There's CHILDREN here."

"I don't call them Gaia Crystals."
Z gave the doctor an odd look. "While I agree they bear a resemblance to the Gaia Crystal and hold some similar abilities, I've been classifying them as Alpha Crystals as a placeholder name. But you said you created them? It'd be best for you to give them a name, then."
That's when Doc Scratch opened the discussion to his ultimate fate. "Oh, I know." Z chuckled. "I know I'm destined to perish. To fail. That is my original fate. Plague before me, and then myself. But this alone has already changed the path of destiny. Am I to face foes greater than all of my enemies at their peak? I suppose you would know. And according to you, I still perish. I doubt it."
"But I'll listen to what you have to say."

Pipotron Krak’s Laboratory.

As the team walked in to the lab. Pressing a hand against the black door. It creaked open. It was dark. Pitch black. No a thing to be seen inside. After a few steps, the lights flickered before flashing on.

It was a circular room, pools of an unknown black liquid tripping on the ground. In the center of the room was a horrific sight. A husk of a familiar looking robot, parts strewn about and stripped of their machinery. Legs, arms, and the center body of Elecman was completely hollowed out and separated. However, his head was nowhere to be found. They had ripped him apart to the very last piece!

Suddenly, a screen at the back of the room flashed on. On the screen, Pipotron Krak grinned down at the cast, Giggling to his heart’s content.

“Kekekeke! Why the long faces? I don’t see you mourning over a microwave!” Pipotron krack snickered. “Besides...”

He then reached for something off screen, before pulling out the decapatated head of Elecman! Showing it off to the viewers, Pipotron Krak’s eye peice began to glow.

“In case J’s little speech didn’t inspire you, perhaps THIS will inspire you to come back here! Kekekeke...KAKAKAKAKA!!!!!!”

Name: Hiro, Kyuseishu, Keyblade Trinity Squadron

"Wait!"

However, Flint had been gone just like that. With only this warning and this little parting gift to go by, one last call to Flint if need be. One he'd have to use wisely, but for now he could not let the worry over this figure cloud his focus....just as Flint said, he had a job to do here and he needed to save Kale.

"Wind."

Which made a sudden spell all the more troubling, as Hiro turned just in time to be blasted to a wall by a guest of wind. The locket fell on the ground as Malcolm of the Trinity Squadron made his moment before Hiro had even the chance to process all of what Flint said. Hiro groaned as he glanced up as Malcolm who picked up the locket and stared him down.

"Quite the interesting conversation. I'm sure our Savior would love to know about the details...from both accounts." Malcolm said as he made his intentions clear. Hiro had a frown, his stamina had been replenished but his magic was still drained which mean he had to rely purely on his Keyblade and natural athletics....which given his opponent was a fresh Keyblade Wielder made the odds near insurmountable.

But, as he reached subtly behind his back....he picked up a trick or two up his sleeve.

"Yeah, too bad he'll have to settle with an outsider view." Hiro said, before he tossed what appeared to be a pinch of yellow dust in Malcolm's eye.

This momentary distraction served two purposes. First, it allowed Hiro a chance to go up and snatch the locket from his hand. Second, it gave a cover to coat himself with the pixie dust and soon enough he began to fly past and away from Malcolm. Who after he realized this was quick to use a wind spell to fly after him.

“Well, I suppose you can call it that….”

The voice of a new arrival to the room spoke up, as the magical Avatar of Kyuseishu himself appeared as both Andrew & Renee had immediately taken to a knee as he advanced. Though not physical present, his commanding presence had been felt all the same as the fox masked Keyblade Wielder moved ahead of his subordinates and faced Specter.

“So, I take it you are the owner of this vessel. Impressive construction….a shame I could not appear in person, but my body is a bit preoccupied at the moment. Still though a pleasure.” Kyuseishu replied, his tone but formal in spite of the aforementioned presence as both Andrew & Renee stood to watch.

Name: Caulifla, Yang, Azula, Bowser, Blake & Weiss
Location: Camelot

Caulifla was, for once, oddly speechless as this guy seemed to be a walking contradiction which puzzled her. He was eager to fight yet his body and tonal language seemed to imply he’d rather nap than anything else.

Still, after being denied a finish with the hedgehog knight, she was eager to get something out of today as she struck a fighting pose.

“Alright, well let’s just say the “universe” suggests you make the first move. We can worries about these "lawyer" warriors later.” Caulifla replied with her usual competitive fire. Unaware of what an actual lawyer was.

-----
"Easy there sis, don't want to scare off the owner now." Yang said with an amused grin as Ruby's over-excitement over the weapons had been well expected though she tried to put some "control" on how she expressed such passion. If for nothing else but the owner's benefit. Then she heard Tony pitch as he seemed to want to share his designs with the blacksmith here so that he could get a medieval version of it.

"Huh, didn't take you as the kind of guy who'd want anything but the newest and fanciest thing." Yang replied with a sly grin towards Tony.

-----
Azula managed to portray a flawless look of concern as she nodded in kind, but filed this bit of information about this guy as he managed to convey a lot with but that one line.

Nanashi's apologetic and incredibly submissive attitude revealed that much more. Though she also caught on to what Sam said easily enough and accepted her pouch.

Bowser glanced at the pouch and scoffed. "What is this?" Bowser spat as his contempt had not been masked and he cared little for what authority this figure claimed to have. Though asked about what it was all the same and seemed willing to accept this arrangement in spite of his grumblings.

Weiss had been prepared to move out of the grasp of the Ogre and Blake prepared to strike from behind, but before either could act a blur shot out with carried this…aura about it, and Asta appeared and delivered a powerful slash to the Ogre which knocked it to a wall.

Whatever Asta had done it caused him to shift to a more….demonic form, which was puzzling and had been enough to cause Weiss’ eyes to widen. Though a pair of goblins charged ahead to try and strike Asta from behind.

Slash!

Blake and a clone of hers struck them down from behind. And since Asta seemed covered Weiss shifted over to Goblin Slayer and fired ice shots at some goblins that tried to advance around him.

Asta’s power was a game changer, but they still had to finish the fight.

Erza, even as she scanned off to the scenary, had overheard and listened into Keda's comments....though it was hard to make out the specifics due to distance. It appeared he had a nightmare of some sort, which was to be expected. This whole thing was quite scary and even the best and bravest of us can feel the stress. This was new territory for everyone, but at least he seemed to settle back down a bit. That strength was commendable.

Erza would keep watch, relying on such strength to keep going herself. She'd get them to safety, she'd find Happy and she'd get back home. No matter what or who she'd have to go through.

-----
"Alright so what do you guys want to eat? We got all sorts of treats here...Nomad you can just point to what you like."

Star arrived in the kitchen of the place as it seemed to have various snacks and a stuffed fridge but also appeared to have various magical living spells running around as Raven looked on with deadpan and Dipper with wide eyes.

"S-so are these friends...pets?" Dipper asked.

"Oh these are my spells. And friends, yes. I call for them when I am in a fight and otherwise they just hang out here." Star explained to the party.

"Yeah, no. I'm getting that railgun."

Rocket had been no idiot, he was well aware of what the pair had been up to even as he gathered various scrap metal or weapons lying around into his bag. They seemed to have found the big one among the pile, and while initially he inwardly cursed he managed to keep his comment to himself as he'd simply have to bide his time. Besides, the two were eager but didn't seem the most experienced with this kind of stuff....he'd have it off their hands before they knew it.

"A long journey on foot indeed, but not one we cannot manage. Our party seems quite capable." Thor said as encouragement even as Lucario remained mostly disinterested. The mention of the being possibly not being human caused slight regret for his....aggressive assault, though its eyes closed as a blue outlined enveloped it before it placed a paw on the knocked out soldier as if to try and read his Aura.

"We cannot afford to linger on. Let's move." Akame urged, her tone composed though in Bakugo's view cold as he scoffed at her....but had to concede she was right as he'd follow Akame and both would begin to follow Eileen's directions and began their path to the destination.

The Heartless Knight felt something tug at its arm, the hand its Keyblade held specifically as it felt something pull against it which prevented it from striking or defending itself. While the Heartless Knight began to pull back given its physical superiority....that moment had been all that was needed. As Kris drove the sword into its shoulder and Fumi & Katsu seemed eager to try and follow up with slashes and Alpha prepared a rush.

"SHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

An unearthly hiss escaped its lips as a dark aura manifested before a shockwave fired out from its dark blade in all direction which aimed to knock everyone back as Fumi & Katsu had been sent flying.

Lilac was quick to follow Maple's call as she quickly dashed to the side and as such slammed through several Heartless in a straight line charge as the fire set several Heartless ablaze. However, a low rumbling was heart as what appeared to be a giant Rhinoceros appeared and charged ahead...as it aimed to try and run over Maple first.

Belowski gave off a few chuckles, sitting up from the ground at caulifla’s acceptance. His duel disc lit up and a distinct sound of his life points being booted up was heard. Something Noah knew very well. Belowski drew five cards, his lazy eyes being draw to one card in particular.

“Alrighty, i’ll Play Mokey Mokey in defense modey modey.”

He let out another chuckle, playing a card on his duel disc. Out of a cloud of pink smoke, a square pillow like creature emerged with a pink, bent question mark on his head. It had tiny yellow wings on its upper corners and had a blank, expression of mere lines for eyes and a mouth

“Mokey Mokey.” It cried. “Mokey Mokey...!”

It’s tiny wings flapped vibrations all around the battle zone. The guards watching the skirmish began to fawn over the little creature.

“I don’t know what that thing is, but it’s so cute!”

“It should be the new castle mascot!”

“Go Mokey Mokey!”

Belowski looked to caulifla, setting a card face down on the field. “I’ll place a card face down to chill now. Your move my dude.”

Contessa barley dodged a swipe from some chains that seemed to come from the mermaid. The Contessa shot a thread to a nearby tree, shooting to it’s trunk. She put a clawed hand to her chin.

“Hmm....this complicates things. I’ll leave this in your capable hands.”

C whipped around to her. “W-What?!”

“Find a way to keep her stationary for a few seconds. Then she shall be dealt with. Until then, that’s what I hired you for.”

C gulped, hesitating before uttering a ‘yes Ma’am.’ He and the other three troopers opening fire in the mermaid, shooting at her chest and face primarily with their newly acquired weapons.

Kidomaru
Wightbeard’s Ship

Kidomaru didn’t even have the energy or willpower to protest as he was carried into what appeared to be sleeping quarters- very dusty, implying that the beds hadn’t been used in some time. He was gently placed on one of the mattresses, and a faint sense of discomfort brushes across him. The dust lingering in the air, the rock-like mattress, and the lack of even a pillow would usually make for the worst sleeping environment ever, but in Kidomaru’s current state, it felt more like the world’s softest and most comfortable bed with each passing second. He fell asleep almost immediately.

Hours later…

Kidomaru woke up to the sound of sneezing. His eyes shot open, darting from wall to wall. It took him a few second to remember what had happened and why he was there, although everything had gotten a bit fuzzy after he’d put that chakra arrow in Wightbeard’s head… a sense of dread washed over him. He hadn’t been killed, but why? Those pirate spirits definitely could have killed him in the state he’d been in after launching that attack.

He rolled off of the mattress, falling a short distance onto the creaky wooden plank floor below. It wasn’t a soft landing, but that was the least of his concerns. He stood, and for the first time in a while, didn’t immediately feel the need to collapse. He felt refreshed.

He walked over to a wooden door that looked like it hadn’t been touched in a thousand years. The wood looked rotten and old, dusty too. He opened the door, and it made a loud creak. Beyond it was a set of stairs, ascending. He wasn’t sure if he should go up, but he wanted to investigate. He was at the top of his game now, more or less, so he wouldn’t be helpless should he get ambushed a second time.

He began to climb, the short flight of stairs lead to a second creaky wooden door, but this one didn’t look like it was ready to fall off of its hinges. It also had a circular window at eye level, which gave visual access to the ship’s main deck. He couldn’t see anyone onboard, though he was still going to proceed with caution. He doubted spirits wouldn’t be able to be elusive, and he wasn’t trying to get ambushed twice in one trip.
He slowly opened the door to the deck.

Noah Kaiba
Noah watched like a hawk as the battle began. Belowski made haste to play a few cards, including a Mokey Mokey… Noah took note of its low attack and pitiful defense. The only two possibilities here were that Belowski was setting up a strategy, or he was going easy. But he still had a hunch that this woman had a trick up her sleeve if she intended to battle Duel Monsters without a deck or duel disk.

A faint outline of Athena flickered behind Noah. He was more than ready to stop this battle should things take an undesirable turn.

“I do hope you have some kind of plan with that creature,” Noah called out to his fellow duelist. Perhaps the creature had a special ability…

Maxwell/Frisk
Maxwell looked on as the cat-like girl disappeared, running off for whatever reason. He looked over at the girl beside him, who was biting into a piece of pizza. He sighed, and unzipped his backpack, reaching into it. He pulled out a globe- the one Lily had given to him countless times. He attempted to tap into its magic and check his location, but the globe had no reaction. No movement… it seemed confused, almost. He tried to at least pinpoint a general area, but that was a no-go. The only explanation for that that he could think of was that he couldn’t use it outside of his universe.
Lovely.

Vriska Serket
Vriska stared at the large ‘Giga Mermaid’ as it appeared behind them. Immediately, a grin appeared on her face. She was ready for this- another chance to prove herself. Maybe getting rid of this thing would prove her worth as a pirate and spider lover.

Perhaps her shitty luck was starting to turn.
“Rude, I was trying to make memories, and this big bitch comes along and tries to ruin it?”
She put her phone away, the dice she’d used earlier taking its place in her hands.

Palladium
“You’re nearing the location of our key,” a deep voice emanated from a crystal. The crystal rested in the palm of a man, but not an ordinary man. No, this man was unique. His skin was made of pure palladium, almost looking like a very thin suit of armor. His short hair was almost as silvery-white as his skin, and his blue eyes were as light blue as the sky. He was sporting leather gloves, a medieval-style chestplate made of gold, contrasting with his skin, and chainmail leggings.

“Which direction is it in?” Palladium’s sharp voice cut through the air like a knife. “I’d prefer not to get in any conflict with the Arigami, if it’s all the same to you.”

“You are also nearing our targets. They’ll likely come after the key soon, so proceed with caution,” the voice within the crystal warned.

“Easy for you to say,” Palladium replied, eyelids half-closed. “I’ll do what I can, but I’m not one for stakeouts.”

He lowered the crystal. If the key was nearby, he wanted to take her when she wasn’t alone. However, his own judgement was of little importance. He was working in the name of the Black Sun, and the Black Sun wanted Jet and Silver.

Nanashi
“That pouch contains demon jerky,” Nanashi explained to Bowser, tossing the pouch to the koopa king’s feet, as he’d been the only one not to take his. Nanashi didn’t seem at all put off while explaining that the food was made from demon flesh, since it was normal in Tokyo. “It supposedly tastes identical to its ‘beef’ counterpart. It also has healing properties, so should this land provide you with any injuries, that should help.”

The Godslayer turned, back to them, facing the path. “I do hope you’ll come along with us,” he told the three of them, before heading off to catch up with Dagda, who was still walking down the path at a reasonable pace.

Name: Caulifla, Bowser, Azula
Location: Camelot

Caulifla had her guard up and prepared herself for whatever this guy had up his sleeve....which in this was more literal than she intended as he pulled a pair of cards from it and placed it on his gauntlet. Moments later, what seemed to be a living marshmallow with wings appeared out of thin air along with what seemed to be a giant card. Some sort of mystical art, like the famed Namekian pair? Caulifla was not sure about this or the concept of "defense mode" or whatever had been. Whatever the reason he had yet to attack so she guessed he was to take caution.

And so had Caulifla, caution to the wind that was as she dashed ahead and channeled ki in her right palm in the form of a sphere before she shot it at the adorable Mokey Mokey. Her plan was simply, send a blast to blow up or knock away that thing that she assumed protected him then make a glide charge to try and deliver a punch to the gut of Belowski himself.

------
Bowser had a grumble, but like Azula next to him who eagerly enjoyed a bite Bowser took a bite of the demon jerky. Given they had not had anything to eat before now it was truly better than nothing before they heard Nanashi express his wist that they'd follow him and Dagda.

Azula's eyebrow turned to Sam, curious what his decision had been as Bowser grumbled and half considered following but also half considered blasting.

"Think would be best to play their game...for now." Azula replied to Sam and Bowser with the gentlest tone so only they'd hear her as she offered her piece to them. It was clear they resented Dagda, a resentment she filed away neatly into her mind, though for now it would be better to play along with the charade. Oppertunity was bound to come for a more favorable shift of power, something she tried to hint to them.

Ogremon needed not be told twice, as when the portal opened up he had been quick to grab his club and move through it with a lumbering yet oddly quick pace. Least now they'd get some ground rather than stand around and talk about stuff and focus on what he felt was a longer journey back home.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Belowski
Location: Camelot

The small ki blast was enough to send the little marshmallow angel scattering into thousands of tiny pieces. Belowski gave a small chuckle, looking at caulifa charging his way.

“‘Fraid not dude, check this.”

A trap card came up from the field, several little pictures of Mokey Mokey plastered on it.

“This is Human wave tactics, so that means when one of my little buddies goes to the grave, I can get another from my deck, so say hello to another Mokey Mokey!”

Woozy, he placed another Mokey Mokey on the field. It released another set of vibrations that one couldn’t help but yawn at. It was met with caulifla’s attack, getting hit for the little Belowski, shattering much like the first one. Even then, the impact of caulifa’s attack sent Belowski several feet back, sliding across the ground. He rubbed the back of his head.

“Hey, that’s pretty good stuff man!” Belowski complimented the attack. “Now Lemme show you what we can do...!”

He revealed a card from his hand, a spell card. It had a assembly line of mokey mokeys printed on them.

“It’s called dark factory of mass production. It’s a bummer of a name I know, but it lets me bring my mokeys to my hands from the grave. And now i’ll Use a spell card called polymerization since I’m already holding a third Mokey to summon my chill little friend...”

Suddenly, the spell card in question materialized on the field, three Mokey mokeys spiraling into the polymerization, spinning around in circles until a flash of light occurred. A gigantic, white monster appeared. An enormous version of the Mokey Mokey that towered over the entire Camelot castle itself! Despite Looking identical to the Mokey mokeys that had come before it, the giant monster had a way more intimidating presence.

“Mokey Mokey king...!” Belowski chuckled.

“Mokey Mokey...” it bellowed.

300 ATK/100 DEF

Suddenly, a heavy pulse was given from the Mokey Mokey king, different than the smaller mokeys. The heavy pulse instantly sent all the guards watching into a deep sleep. Wild deer nearby even were heard flopping down to the ground. The sound could be heard for a mile due to how much a sheer reach it had. The titanic creature was loud and proud.

If she had failed to stop running and not see the wall of ice blocking the darkbeasts, she would have kept going until she was out of sight and far from the others. Reluctantly making her way back to the group, she silently watched and listened as they discussed on what to do next. Hearing Eileen mention a sewer as a means to continue onward did not sound very pleasant, especially since her senses were more heightened than a normal human. However, there seemed to be no other options to pick from as the werewolf frowned, hoping the trip through the sewers was quick.

"God damnit all." she muttered. "My nose will surely be dead by the end of this."

"And it probably won't be the only one." Achilles said, sticking out his tongue in disgust. "It wasn't too bad last time I was in a sewer." Happy said. Achilles looked up at the Exceed, who was on Alicia's shoulder. "Your weird, you know that?" Achilles said.

"-do some recon- Ah, nuts. Guys, Blaze ran off. Jet, wanna come find her?"
Jet shrugged. "Sure, why not?"
Raising his hand, another board made of crystals appeared before him.
He stepped onto it. Unfortunately, Blaze didn't leave a trail where she'd gone. There was also the fact that she was almost as fast as a certain blue hedgehog, which would make it even harder to find her.
Jet moved off in the direction he had gone, trying again to check from there. He also remembered stumbling across an abandoned convenience store; he doubted it, but he wondered if there was anything interesting inside.
Hell, he might even find Blaze ther--Nah, that would be pushing his dumb luck too far. He then promised himself he'd apologize to Maxwell if by some reason, he found her.
"Like that would ever happen," he thought to himself, smirking.

Todoroki nodded to the strangers' remarks, seemingly agreeing with them.
Besides, what they said sounded true enough.
"So," he began. "What's your plan?"

Hero Killer Stain
The Wilds; Keda's Village

Upon hearing the man approach, the Hero Killer turned; but did not speak. He merely watched the conversation, waiting for Líf's response. As the two of them talked, Stain, gripped the handle of his katana.
He knew something was about to happen. What, he wasn't sure.
He also wasn't certain which of the two he would have to draw his blade against.

"The sewers aren't far from here. There's no time to waste- keep ya heads down and we should be able to avoid the townsfolk. They've become a tad...irritable."
The man, who everybody had classified as "Trevor", spat in disgust. "I've had enough of navigating fucking sewers for one lifetime."
"Trevor!" The woman next to him glared at him.
"What?"
"There's CHILDREN here."
He leaned his head back and sighed. "I don't care right now, Sypha. What I need is a good ale and a way back to Wallachia."
"We cannot afford to linger on. Let's move," remarked Akame, who started moving, Bakugou following her.
Nobody was really fazed by Trevor, except for really Ash, who'd never heard the phrase before.
"Uh, not to change the subject, but what does fu--"
His shoulder was grasped by Link, who was one of the only ones there not too distraught by Shoto's sacrifice. He simply shook his head as a means to say, "Don't ask."
Dex, who didn't know Todoroki all that well, was the first among them to say something.
"It's fine," he muttered to Sypha, not finding the strength to mention the fact that they had their own strong curser with them. Instead, he merely glanced at Bakugo's back for a split second, before moving forward with the rest of his classmates, his head down as Eileen advised. Though, he was still bothered by having Todoroki gone.
"Maybe this is how they felt when he was kidnapped," Dex thought, looking up at Bakugo one last time.
Midoriya was still in the back, unnoticed. He stared at his fist.
He'd promised himself he'd always be fast enough to save everybody.
And now he'd failed again...

Spiral, The Blacksmith
Camelot; The Blacksmith's Shop

Now intrigued, the blacksmith nodded.
"Sure. If you'd follow me, I have some of my own armor sets, as well as some sketching materials in the back."
He turned to the rest of them.
"You all can come, if you'd like."
Adding onto this, Spiral remarked, "He's got a lot more weapons back there."

Black Asta
Camelot; V.S. Ogre

(As Bog was unable to post, he allowed his characters to be autoed)

The Ogre hesitated, but eventually climbed out of the wall that Asta had pushed him into.
"THIS FORM DOESN'T SCARE ME, BOY."
"It should!" Asta's voice had changed, almost as if something... something more ominous... something more dangerous... was talking in unison with his words.
In fact, something seemed to be stirring in Asta's shadow.
If one looked (which was unlikely, with the chaos), they would find that it was much slimmer and taller than Asta normally was. Instead of one wing, it had two. Instead of one curved horn, it also possessed two. Needless to say, something was incredibly off about it.
But the Magic Knight was too focused on the battle at hand to notice, or to even care.
The massive beast swiped at him with its club, but Asta was too small and much faster. He dove under the club, skimming past the magical fire that enveloped the group. He scooped up the Demon Dweller Sword in his left hand.
His mere presence quelled the mystical flames, reducing them to nothing. They were drawn to him, following Asta and his blades as he shot upwards like a bullet, delivering a slash to the Ogre's back.
The figure behind him could be more learn seen across the cave wall.
It had a light hourglass figure, with thin arms and massive hands, with claws instead of fingertips. Its wings were like Asta's, but more bat-like, large, and intimidating.
The strangest part was that where there should have been a face, there were three holes where the light poured through, giving the shadow devilish eyes, as well as a malicious, evil grin of a mouth.
Nobody could've seen it for long, as the swordsman sped back around, swiping at the beast again. His swords sliced across the front, the tips of the blades grazing the monster's chest.
Blood leaked from them, but they quickly healed.
Asta frowned, but didn't give up. He moved faster, breaking the sound barrier as he flew.
"BRAT," bellowed the Ogre, clearly in some pain. "YOU CAN'T KILL ME. I'LL SIMPLY HEAL."
"As long as I overwhelm you," he muttered.
The anti-magic started to work its... well... you know, as the wounds started closing more and more slowly.
"WHAT IS THIS?!?!"
"Anti-Magic!"
"GIVE UP ALREADY; YOUR STRATEGY WON'T WORK!!!" Even so, Asta dodged the club swipes as he continued slashing.
"To hell with that! My magic..."
Asta increased his speed and power, the Ogre now surrounded by black circles, each one created by Black Asta's trail of our anti-magic as he flew. The face of the strikes caused wind that could be felt throughout the cave, by the Goblins, and even Weiss, Blake, and Goblin Slayer.
"...is NEVER GIVING UP!!!"

Hope flinched back, the spinning blade slicing the monitor clear in half. Cut Man was allowing emotion to overtake him now. He moved to storm out of the room, but the hero put her hand on his shoulder. "Hey, hey! Hold up there. We need to get you repaired still."
"NO TIME!" Cut Man growled. "I'm headed onto that ship right now!"
Hope turned towards the others. She didn't know him, and wouldn't be able to stop him.

"I built my first Iron Man suit in a cave with discarded parts and scraps. I'll take what I can get." Stark replied. He nodded when Spiral made his offer.
Ruby, meanwhile, practically squealed. "Getting to see the weapons mid-forging? HOW COULD I EVER REFUSE?!" She practically dashed into the back room. Shantae looked over at Yang with a shrug.
Inside the back room, Ruby's eyes were caught on a large spear. The blade was large and blue, with a gold rim. A gemstone seemed to be placed in the middle, the long handle ending the gold lining to be a dark blue. Though she couldn't know it, the spear was named Geirskogul, the finest work of Miles Prower. "Whoa..." she marveled.
Stark, meanwhile, went to the parchment. Taking one of the felt pens, he began marking down his plans. Half a minute later, he had a diagram drawn. "Do you think you can get the materials we need for this?" he asked. Pushing the parchment over, the paper showed an Arc Reactor...

The Wilds, Star's Wand
The Nomad pointed to his face before shaking his head. Lifting down his face veil a bit, he showed the lack of a mouth, just the black sheet holding in the straw that allowed the Nomad - really just a scarecrow - to live as a magical creature.

The Wilds, The Cave
As the first wisps of sunlight struck into the cave - a beam hitting Rex directly in the face - Keda was awoken by Alpha licking at his face. Lightly pushing his dog away with a chuckle, Keda rose from the fireside, looking over the horizon. It seemed even Erza had fallen asleep, sat leaning against the entrance to the cave. Taking out his spear, he gently tapped both of his companions on the shoulder, with Alpha scratching at the fireplace. Moments later, the fireplace vanished, turning back into the teenage kid. "Ow." Jamie said, holding his arm, the part Alpha had scratched.
"The sun is just rising." Keda said. Drawing an arrow from his quiver, he made a few marks in the ground just outside the cave before slamming the arrow down. The sun confirmed his thoughts via sundial. "Half past six. Time to get moving." Keda returned the arrow to the quiver, turning back to the rest of the group.

Arendelle, Elsa's Castle
"Oh no." Alpha's eyes opened wide. The shock wave caused him to fly back himself, but his wings began to act like a glider. "Hornet, Bungie!" Alpha shouted, reminding Hornet of one of the pair's old combos. Alpha flew down towards Katsu and Fumi, grabbing both of them by the hands. Due to TOME having no true flight mechanic, his wings were mostly cosmetic, but allowed him more aerial maneuverability.
Kris, however, left that to the others. He had barely held on through the shock wave, his sword being what saved him. Regaining his stance on the beast's shoulder, he drew out his blade, moving for the creature's head with a downward stab.

Spotting the rhino, Hat Kid dashed ahead. Leaping on top of the Heartless, she used the grappling hook attachment of her umbrella to try and pull it back. Seeing what Hat Kid was doing, Maple made a few quick gestures for another spell, slamming her fingers to the ground. "SLEET!" she shouted. The ground between Maple and the Heartless suddenly froze over, causing the beast to lose its footing. With a grunt of exertion, Hat Kid pulled it to the side, and it slid across the ground. She let out a yell of joy as she slid across the ice on her rear. As the rhino slid across the ice, Maple side-stepped it. Seeing Lilac nearby, she allowed her to finish it off.

Sequin Land, Mermaid Falls - VS GIGA MERMAID
Despite the heavy, calibur plasma artillery, the shots were like raindrops to Giga Mermaid. With a tensing of the forehead, one of the goons was slowly lifted into the air. With a yelp, he was flung away into the forest.
That wasn't the only problem. As Rottytops' new body popped out of the ground, she saw the large incoming crowd of mermaids, all armed with tridents and hazardous bubbles. "That's bad..." Rottytops said. She ran over towards Contessa. "M-Maybe we can stop her by attacking the gem on her forehead? Or by stopping the blizzard?"

Far East, City of Mercy
Silver decided to fly alongside Jet. "I'm usually able to track her. We tend to establish a psychic link of sorts." That's when Silver realized. Back in the void with Gaster, he hadn't felt Blaze's presence through the link. That should have tipped him off... Silver closed his eyes, trying to feel around for her. "I think I can sense her nearby... Over... thataway." He pointed right towards the convenience store.

---

"Plan? We're as lost as you." Conagher said. "Sure 'nuff, our plan is to find one of those crystals and get home, since ah don't see us doin' much else-"
"Uh, Engie? Do you see that really messed-up-lookin' dog or is it just me?"
Engineer turned over to where Scout was looking, only to find some sort of beast snarling at the group. "Oh, that ain't good." Engineer unsaddled his shotgun from his shoulder, drawing out the rifle just in case.
Before he could aim it, the creature dashed at them, heading right for Scout.

Shen: King of Digimon

Specter’s Ship.

Suddenly, an emergency craft had unfolded from the wall in the Pipotron room, ready to be deployed. The timing was suspicious, almost as if the pipotrons themselves were inviting the team to space station SARU-04. The final bastion of Specter and his schemes.

Name: The Contessa
Location: Mermaid falls

The Contessa examined the rather bare skinned mermaid, questioning how it could be so durable without much clothes, as it tore through one of her expendable soldiers. That was when rottytops approached her, Pleading the countess to stop the blizzard or aim for the gem.

“I do not control when the sun sets or the snow falls.” The Contessa spoke sternly. “Either talk to your troll friend about that or hold fish fingers’s head steady. Otherwise, I’m electing to let this happen.”

Contessa then just began calmly clicking her spider legs away, leaving C to sweat in a panic. C was thankfully listening to what Rottytops said, unlike the rest of the Troops.

“Aim for the gem...”

He angled his gun to shoot the gem lodged near the head of the mermaid. He pulled the trigger, the blast rocketing toward the glowing gem

Name: Rex Raptor
Location: Wilds

Rex Raptor gave a large yawn as he stirred to consciousness. Another day, another ice age. The thought made him shiver. Bah, I’m beginning to hate this place. At least magic lady is here, Erza I think. Say, where is she?

Rex looked about the cave, scanning for the magical woman and ignoring the puppy x caveman relationship going on in the room

John listened vaguely to the Hunter bring Hope up to speed in his own unique way, staring out of the view port at the larger vessel they still approached, not yet having docked. The Spartan had been through a lot for almost his entire life, and the current events transpiring? Didn't exactly hold a candle to what he'd been through just weeks prior. He'd take this over the all-consuming Flood any day.

Quickly, Hope seemed to take initiative, conversing with Cutman before they both lead the way into a separate room, this one devoid of light- very reminiscent of the trap earlier performed by Clockwerk that had ensnared Elecman, minus the digital girl.
Chief followed Hope and Cutman, though he didn't enter the room. They still had wounded to care for, and without consulting their active teammates, Hope and Cutman had simply wandered off. "Watch the others." John ordered Hunter, before following the other two into the room.

Lights flickered on in the dark room, revealing the mangled husk of Elecman's body, what appeared to be oil was splattered about. The head was missing. The Spartan showed no sign of emotion as he directed his attention to a screen that had flashed on the far back wall, which revealed the Pipotron known as Krak attempting to taunt the group, even revealing Elecman's head from his end, which the Spartan had seen coming. It was a classic tactic he'd seen the Insurrection use years ago before the Covenant threat. The Covenant, however, were too noble to do that. At least the Elites were, and they were in charge of the Covenant military.
Chief's thoughts were interrupted by an outburst from Cutman, who tore the screen in half, now storming off with the intent to board the ship. Hope tried and failed to stop him, leaving Chief to take a few steps forward. "We have more time than you think." He stated. "You head there now, you'll be short-handed and unprepared. Even together we're barely ready for this." He reminded the robot. "You go now, they'll tear you to shreds just like your friend. Just stop, wait, and process this. That's an order."

------------

Here he was again.
It was always the same. No matter what he did, he always ended up having the same dream.
He'd had it so many times, and every time he could act differently, but no matter what he tried, Arlene still died. No matter what he did, no matter how many demons he killed, she was still ripped to shreds.
One way or another.

"Flynn!" Arlene cried as she ducked behind a large chunk of concrete rubble to reload her overheating rifle as he took aim with his shotgun, firing an Imp's head clean off. He made no reply. He knew her response was always the same.
"We're surrounded!" She growled, breathing heavily as she tore her empty mag from her rifle, slapping in a fresh one- her last one. Flynn continued to remain silent as an Imp leaped at him from behind, but it was quickly stopped as he whirled about, his free hand finding its throat with lightning quick movements. Without hesitation, he squeezed, hearing the sound of crushing bone as he collapsed the Imp's windpipe, then dropped its carcass to the ground without so much as another thought about it.
"Flynn!" Arlene called again as she pushed herself away from the rubble, taking aim with her rifle and firing at a massive figure approaching through a thick cloud of smoke.
Flynn paid it little mind. He knew what it was. The Cyberdemon. It always was. However, as his thoughts turned to other things, like wishing not to hear her screams, he suddenly heard something new.

"Daddy!"
Flynn whirled about on his heel toward Arlene. The cry had come from somewhere near her, he was sure of it. Not to mention the voice... it was young. Male. Familiar...
He'd heard that voice before, he was sure of it. However, he couldnt place where he'd heard it. He realized his heart was thumping a mile a minute at this change to the dream, but things continued to progress like usual.
Shaking his head, Flynn turned away, shutting his eyes tight as he heard Arlene scream out in agony, which was drowned out by the ground shaking roar of the Cyberdemon, followed by silence.
Silence always came after.

He stood alone on the barren battlefield. Remnants of an ancient civilization stood around him. Fallen skyscrapers over a thousand years old were barely recognizable, smothered in trees and vines, making their slow rehabilitation back into nature. Give it another millenia and the last skyscrapers would probably crumble into nothing at the slightest touch.
This is where he always went at the end of the dream. That meant he'd be waking soon- or he'd just repeat the process.
Taking a seat on a rock, which used to be a temporary shield for Arlene, he looked skyward, staring blankly up at the blue sky.
It was such a beautiful day...
It always was...

-> Vriska Serket
-> Sequin Land - Mermaid Falls

Tossing her Fluorite Octet to the ground, the troll smirked as she got into a runner's stance, seemingly about to charge at the Mermaid Queen, before Vriska suddenly shot into the air, leaving a trail of smoke as her rocket boots activated, shooting out flames from them.
As soon as Vriska was in the air, her Fluorite Octet glowed, then disappeared, and a strange gun appeared in Vriska's arms. "Ahab's Crosshairs." She smirked. The weapon was blue in color, and looked reminiscent of a sniper rifle with an arrow at the tip of the muzzle. This weapon had been utilized by Eridan Ampora, whom Vriska hated. An electrified harpoon gun that fired powerful bolts of pure electricity. Named after Captain Ahab from the story 'Moby Dick'.
Vriska had seen this weapon zap sea monsters out of existence before, so with a gun of this caliber, needless to say, 'Marquise Spinerete Mindfang' was feeling exceptionally confident as she took aim while still flying upward, aiming right at the Giga Mermaid's left tit (for shits and giggles, of course), then pressed down on the trigger. The weapon began charging up its attack, a bright light appearing at the arrow to, before Vriska let up on the trigger, and a jolt of lightning struck forth simultaneously with C's own shot toward the Mermaid's red jewel.
"Suck my clit, bitch!" Vriska yelled unnecessarily, flipping off the Giga Mermaid, still rising into the air as she did so.

-> Bro
-> Camelot Castle - Castle Grounds

The journey had been boring- though shorter than expected. Kiran collected his weapon, and that was that, though Bro did eye the blade of Kiran's sword for a moment, silently appreciating its design. Bro could appreciate any blade.
"Anything you were looking to hit up? Or, uh, head to?" Kiran asked, and Bro's thin line of a mouth stretched into a shit-eating grin. "Hit up? Oh, I got someone in mind." He smirked at Kiran, taking opportunity of his choice in words despite Kiran's attempt at replacing 'hit up' with 'head to'.
Though Bro's grin quickly faded as he looked past Kiran, and saw something familiar. "Wait up." He said to Kiran, before nodding his head, silently gesturing for Kiran to turn around and see what he was seeing.

A small wooden stand, not unlike a lemonade stand, its roof covered in snow- how that got there, the world may never know. The sign on the front read 'hotdogs and hotcats, 1.000g each'.
Standing behind the hotdog stand was the same skeleton they'd encountered earlier, who was leaning against the wooden countertop, left elbow resting on it, his head propped up against his bony hand as he grinned lazily at them.
Once Sans saw them looking, he raised his free hand and waggled his fingers at them, before pointing to the sign stating his business.
Bro wasn't one to let most things bother him, but seeing the skeleton seemed to agitate the man slightly. Perhaps it was the snow on the hotdog stand and the fact that it wasnt melting. Perhaps it was due to their last interaction with the skeleton. Or maybe he just didnt like things that didnt have flesh and blood on them. Whatever it was, Bro was becoming frustrated about something. However, this was interrupted by a deep rumble, a kind of pulse that resonated throughout Camelot. Bro took an involuntary step back, his eyelids suddenly feeling incredibly heavy. "Shitballs..." He muttered to Kiran.

-> Artemis, Negan
-> Camelot Castle - Dining Hall

Artemis paid little attention to two others who entered the dining hall. Her boredom was great, but her desire to remain seated for Serena was greater.
One of the newcomers, bound in flashy leather, wearing a single leather glove on his left hand but not his right, faded blue jeans held up by a thick black belt, combat boots covering his feet, sporting slicked back black hair that was graying with a thin beard that displayed his age more thoroughly.
Negan grinned as he walked into the dining hall behind Percival, a swagger in his step, his eyes flitting over everything, studying what he was with mild interest as Serena waved to him and Percival, introducing herself.
"Well hello there, young lady." He smiled at her, strutting toward the table she, Joseph, and Artemis were seated. "I dont believe we've met yet. I'm Negan." His gaze turned from Serena to Artemis, who paid him little mind, before he turned to look at Joseph. "What's with Miss Moody over there?" He asked with a hint of humor on his tongue, lifting up his gloved hand in an over exaggerated way to cover the left side of his mouth and 'prevent' Artemis from hearing him, though he spoke loudly enough that she could- had she bothered listening.
Instead, she continued to gaze off into the distance, deep in thought, but was interrupted by a deep pulse-like rumble that reverberated through the castle. Negan's smirk slid off his face faster than he'd put it on, and within seconds, he'd collapsed on the floor, eye closed, having fallen into a deep sleep.
Artemis, however, appeared unaffected in any way by this, and didnt even seem to notice as she continued to gaze off wistfully to the far corner of the dining hall.

-> Darth Vader
-> Atlantic Ocean

The hedgehog managed to break out of the Sith Lord's hold- for the time being. Vader watched wordlessly as Sonic rose into the air, spraying water all about, before shooting down toward Vader, he anticipated this, immediately lofting his crimson blade in a fluid movement, effectively blocking Caliburn, the lightsaber and the sword clashing, sending sparks flying before Sonic pulled back, and struck at Vader.
The Sith anticipated this as well, but his movements were just too slow as he moved his blade to block the attack, Caliburn slammed into him, launching him into the air.
Darth Vader grit his teeth. If not for this suit he could have moved fast enough to parry that attack. If not for Obi-Wan he wouldn't even have the suit.
Obi-Wan...

Vader began to build the seething rage inside of him, channeling it, forging it into a weapon to better himself as he turned his flailing body into a spinning turret, almost gracefully. Using the force, he then came to a halt midair, looking back at Sonic, feeling the sting of a fresh gash underneath his arm which had torn through his suit.
"Impressive." The dark lord called out, almost mockingly. "But you'll have to conquer more than a meager ocean." With that, he dropped out of the sky like a rock, shooting off like a rocket toward the surface of the water, his cape billowing violently above him before he slammed onto the surface almost as though it were solid ground.
Immediately, a shockwave of force energy was pushed from Vader on impact, sending up massive waves on all sides of him as the force continued to push out like a brick wall.
Immediately following this, Vader began to sink into the water, his scarlet saber disappearing as he himself disappeared under the waves, clearly preparing himself for another attack- this time from below.

-> Frisk
-> Far East - City of Mercy

Blaze vanished, leaving a smoldering trail in her wake. Silver asked for Jet's help in following her, and he was quick to agree. Frisk would have offered to go too, but she knew she wasnt as fast as them. She'd just slow then down. Besides, she had other things to attend. That being namely Maxwell.
As Silver and Jet departed, Frisk took another bite of her pizza, smiling at the warmness while also silently marveling at the fact that Maxwell had created it from nothingness. She'd made pictures real before thanks to So Sorry, but not words. And nothing like this. That book he had was pretty nifty.
Maxwell then proceeded to pull out what appeared to be a snow globe of some kind, before staring at it intently for several long, tense moments. Finally, he seemed to give up, his usually vague expression betraying slight disdain as he tucked the item back into his bag. Frisk started at him through all of this, before cocking her head to the side. "Did that belong to your sister?" She inquired.
It was mostly a shot in the dark, but her battle with Maxwell had allowed her a look at who he is, and she wasn't exactly stupid nor ignorant. She, like him, was wise beyond their years. Way beyond their years. He just hadn't chosen the good path as she had. She'd once been like him. Cruel. Hopeless. Angry. Fearless. Now, it was just the both of them, stuck in this building alone, waiting for their companions to return.
It was probably time to get to know the Notebook Warrior a little better.

-> Gordon Freeman, Spider-Gwen
-> Goldenwalk - Business District

Wordlessly, Gordon pulled out his trusty crowbar as X took some shots for him before he was slammed into by Scorpio. X was able to fling his adversary away, giving Gordon what he wanted.
Scratch, the man who'd brought him here, had instructed Gordon to find allies and assist them in any way he knew how. It was simple, yet vague, but perfectly up Gordon's alley.
Using his Gravity Gun, Freeman immediately detached the wall Scorpio had lodged himself on. It came out with a grinding crunch before it was quickly thrown to the ground, flat side first- the one Scorpio resided on.
With that, Gordon tucked away his Gravity Gun, and gave his simple crowbar a loving pat before charging toward the wall as it smashed into the ground, shattering into a million pieces from the sheer force and speed it had been thrown down.

Gwen blinked, watching as this newcomer worked with X against Scorpio, before she quickly turned her attention to Scythe. "Hey, the guys got it over there. Could you give me a hand?" She asked, waving weakly toward Scythe.
She was beginning to feel a bit lightheaded, probably from that wound Scorpio had given her. It certainly wasnt comfortable, that much could be said.

-> Chara, Flowey
-> Goldenwalk - Temporary Zeliyis Relay Station

Cecil remained diligent, as Chara expected. His loyalty was almost impressive. It would take more than words and or threats to sway him. The girl had realized this already, and resorted to teasing Cecil- though even this was short lived, as he was clearly adaptable.
His words to Chara were no longer as condescending nor rude as when they'd first met, but rather simple, and forward. Though through all he said, what interested Chara the most were these rail guns. The earlier incident with some helicopter, whatever it had been, had been these weapons on low power. Maximum power peaked her interests so much so, that she began to grow a bit excited. "Oh, Cecil. I'm remaining with you." The girl assured him. "I would never miss out on a chance to see any sort of destructive power up close."
Flowey, meanwhile, remained silent, staring down. He hadn't spoken the entire time since they'd returned, and it didnt seem he'd be opening his mouth again any time soon.

-> Doc Scratch
-> Olympus II - Strategy Room

"You desire a name?" Scratch asked smoothly. If he had eyebrows, he surely would have raised one as he calmly stroked the underside of his dome-like head in what could only be his chin. "Names are a bit overrated if you ask me, hence why I usually ignore creating one, but to make it easier on yourself, continue to refer to them as Alpha Crystals. I imagine you've selected that name because of their ability to seamlessly traverse the Alpha Sphere?" Scratch spoke quickly and properly, never taking a breath and never slowing down. Then onto the topic of Z's fate they went.
"Oh," Scratch chuckled politely. "Yes and no, Z. Your assault on Camelot soon is the end of the line for you. You're completely and utterly destroyed there, along with your foundations and everything you've built. Nothing survived and you're forgotten. However, I enjoy you. You're an entertaining creature, Z. Fun to manipulate, too. You see, a particular person annihilated you originally." As Scratch spoke, his crystal ball of a head began to show a hazy image of an odd character with grayish-blonde frizzy hair, an eyepatch, pale skin, a fake jaw, and piercing hazel eyes screaming something that Z could not hear. Just as quickly as the image appeared, it faded. "Be wary of him. While my help will prevent him from killing you this time, he will still bring about your inevitable downfall, as how fate operates."

Sequin Land, Mermaid Falls - VS GIGA MERMAID
C's shot landed against Giga Mermaid. The gem seemed undamaged, though, flashing for a second. Wow, those guns REALLY downscaled on the multiversal level. At least against foes like the mermaids. Giga Mermaid roared loudly, sending a beam of psionic energy right at C. Rottytops slammed him in the side, knocking him out of the way. As she did, the mermaids began to charge, hopping towards the group with their tridents extended.
That's when Vriska fired her shot.
"AAH!" Giga Mermaid recoiled in pain, growling. She held her breast, throbbing with energy. Vriska's shot had, by far and large, been the most damage she had ever taken in one shot. Despite this, she remained physically fine, only burns remaining on her scaled skin.

Specter's Ship, Krak's Lab
"But... I... URGH!" Cut Man growled, clutching his fists. "He just TORE MY BROTHER TO PIECES! I can't just stand by and do nothing! I... I've felt so USELESS! Here, outside, even back home! I couldn't even take out Time Man by myself... Double Gear or no."
"You're a lot more important than you realize..." Hope said with a sigh. She walked over to the various parts in the room. "I should be able to rebuild his body. It looks like everything's here, so long as you can guide me. I can also use what's here to repair you."

Camelot Castle, Throne Room
As a pulse surged across the castle, Merlina felt herself suddenly drowsy. Realizing what was happening, she grabbed her staff. "Ahris iliyis areno!" Green light surged over her, and the effects were dispelled. "Who else did that affect...?"

Camelot Castle, Dining Hall
The instant Negan hit the floor, Sir Percival and Serena joined him, both being taken out by the sleep pulse themselves.
"HAMON OVERDRIVE!"
Yellow energy surged across the body of Joseph Joestar, however, and the man remained awake. "What the hell was that?" he questioned. "Everyone's out like a light!"

Camelot Castle Town, Blacksmith's Shop
"So... cool... zzzzzzz..."
Shantae blinked as Ruby suddenly hit the ground, looking around as the rest of the group suddenly fell asleep. "What the- GUYS!" she exclaimed. "Stark?! Ruby?! Yang?! Wake up!" After seeing they were all drowsy, she resorted to desperate measures. Digging into her pockets, Shantae suddenly drew out what looked like a collection of small clouds.
"STORM PUFF!"
Tony awoke with a gasp at the loud sound of crackling lightning, his chest beating with fear. He turned towards Shantae, who was in a pose and putting something away. "What... what just happened...?"
"You all fell asleep for some reason." Shantae replied. "I had to wake you up."
Ruby was awake herself, Crescent Rose drawn and in her hands. She glanced around furiously. "WHAT WHO WHERE WHY-"

The Atlantic Ocean
"Hoh crap." Sonic put the pedal to the metal, dashing forward. He climbed the massive wave Vader sent forth, streaking down towards him-
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand he's gone.
Sonic used the wind to create a platform to stand on again, glancing around quickly. He couldn't see Vader anymore, and didn't know where he was. That left him open to attack...
Training with Espio had taught him how to see a hidden opponent, though. He wasn't in the air, unless those powers of his included invisibility. So he needed to focus below him... On where the water was being disturbed...
There!
"SONIC SLASH!" Sonic swung Caliburn harshly, sending out a wave of force (to clarify, not Force, just kinetic energy) that cut the water open, heading right for Vader.

Goldenwalk Business District
By the time Freeman smashed the wall chunk to fragments, Scorpio had already leapt off. From midair, his tail charged up and he aimed a precision laser right at Freeman's skull. His aim was disrupted by a shot from Nathan's plasma pistol, causing the laser to cut clean through a nearby building instead. Scorpio scoffed, landing on the ground. His tail shifted into a machine gun once again, firing over at Nathan and Gwen. The soldier ducked behind their cover.

Olympus II
"I named them for that reason, ye-" Z cut himself off when Scratch pulled up the image. He was... intrigued. "This man... Raiden." Z walked closer to the image, observing the fine features of the man. "You say he's the one to end me? Not X? Not... Stark? Not McAllen, not Maple, not Flint? RAIDEN, of all people?" Z scoffed. "This pathetic mockery of an android is inferior in every form to myself when I annihilated Cuba." Though the thought didn't escape Z's mind. In the timelines he had seen, Raiden HAD been an effective opponent.
"...then I shall ensure he CANNOT interfere with the Battle of Camelot. You claim he destroys us there? With him out of the picture, it will be a resounding, unstoppable annihilation."
Z began to walk out of the room, turning from Scratch. "I must consult the data Omega has gathered through the crystals and Stark's suit. Thank you for your... prophecy."

Slash!
Hiro rolled to the side as Malcolm's Keyblade slashed through the metal wall as it just missed him while Hiro kept using his agility to just stay from harm's way. Though this game of cat and mouse seemed destined to end poorly as Hiro had no magic to rely on. Hiro tried to parry Malcolm's follow up strikes as he was forced back further and further. Soon they clashed as they held the exchange in place before Malcolm let out a sigh.

"This is growing tiresome. Wind!" Malcolm called out, with a knee to Hiro's gut before he fired a wind current that blasted Hiro end over end from the hall towards the next room over.

Which happened to be the Pipitron room.

Name: Caulifla, Yang, Blake & Weiss
Location: Camelot

Caulifla's attack had been cut off as a literal giant appeared before them as a super version of that other walking marshmallow appeared before the Saiyan's eyes.

Okay what the hell is....

However, Caulifla's curious thoughts were cut off as the creature unleashed a monster bellow that caused her to cover her ears. However, this sudden burst had an unexpected effect as her body instantly felt sluggish and without warning she flopped to her knees as for some reason this wave of drowziness as her eyes grew heavy for reasons she could not explain. She nearly passed out there as she stiffled a yawn and shook her head to try and fight it with all her energy; but the close proximity to the giant made that a daunting task as her arms shook and eyes fluttered.

S-shit, what is this thing doing? C-come on Caulifla you are better than this. C-can't nap now. Wake up!

Given she lacked the ability yet to turn into that amazing "Super" power on command, she had to rely on other means to deal with this attack. In this case, a hard bite to her lip as blood dripped down and the pain caused a surge of alertness to shoot up. But given how close she was to this giant sleep-inducer it only did so much and she needed to act quick before this jolt wore off. She raised her hand up, though it was a bit wobbly due to the grogginess fighting with her shot to stay awake as she gathered ki.

"C-c-crush...c-canon!" Caulifla called out, only a slight slur to her words as she fired consecutive charged red sphere blasts. Naturally, due to her eyes fighting to not fall some of them had been bound to fly way off the mark even with such a big enemy...but that was not important as she hoped to fire enough to make it on target to try and blast the giant to bits to hopefully cut off this drowsy attack. It was now or never, as she was not bound to stay awake much long so this attack had to work.

Yang watched as the blacksmith seemed to offer a special room that had armors on top of more weapons which was an offer she knew her sister would be unable to resist. And in truth she was curious what the place had to offer.

"Sounds fair, say maybe I can negotiate this revolutionary new item you could cast. It's plastic rather than pure metal but I promise it will be an accessory to catch on." Yang said with a cheeky grin. Given she had been warped without her shades on hand she figured this guy could either help or point her in the right direction of someone to correct that. With a bit of guidance of course.

Thud

"zzzzzz...." A snore escaped Yang's lips, as without warning she flopped down to the ground with the group as she was knocked out by this sudden sleepy wave that hit the land. The same wave that Caulifla had been fighting against and she was woofully unprepared for. However, Shantae was quick to make the request as her eyes snapped over from the Genie's interfearance.

"Huh what I-I was just resting my eyes Ms. Goodwitch!" Yang yelled out in a panic, before she rubbed her eyes and glanced around as everyone gradually began to stir.

"W-what was that? D-did we get drugged or something?" Yang asked naturally confused.

------
Blake and Weiss prepared to intervene as the Ogre charged at Asta, but they found that such aid was a bit uneeded. As his energy began to explode all over as he delivered mad slashes and the properties of this assault seemed to slow his healing factor.

Asta carried a powerful current as he prepared a big finisher at the Ogre, and as other goblins charged to try and stop him. So the huntress pair were quick to act with a bit of team work.

Glyphs were produced in a diamond formation that encircled the goblin horde, and Blake produced two clones as all bounced along each glyph within the formation as they launched a hide speed multi-strike assault. Slashing and cutting the goblins that attacked almost simultaneously.

And once they finished cutting most of them, they all jumped out as Weiss had flown high; having bounced off her own glyph outside the diamond as she tossed her rapier down and landed right in the middle of the goblin horde.

Instantly, the ice froze and soon enough a large structure of ice stood that had both goblins cut up or not frozen in a prison with her sword sticking from the top. Weiss landed with grace and pulled her blade out from the ice as Blake returned her clones.

Normally there'd be a witty comment or some word of good work, but neither Ruby nor Yang were here and their focus was on Asta and the Goblin Slayer.

"Oooh, I got you." Star said with thumbs up as it appeared their silent friend was not one to concern over feeding, and as Dipper considered what he wanted that mystery door that Glossaryck had kept Star from seeing. Naturally, when he had a curious hunch things tended to get weird but the alternative to just overlook it tended to be worse for everyone.

But he couldn't just ask to walk to the room, nah he had to be a bit more subtle about it.

"S-say uh....does this wand have a bathroom?" Dipper asked, and Star was quick to smile as she hopped over to him.

"Oh yeah let me show you there. Just watch your step it is easy to get lost." Star replied, as her energy and mannerisms made Dipper think about Mabel all the more. But he nodded at her offer all the same as Star began to escort Dipper away while Top Hat Spider tended to the orders.

Raven had an eyebrow raised, but seemed to not act on whatever aroused her suspicion as she simply ordered for some waffles.

Erza had already been up and about before either Rex or Keda as she seemed to have Requipped into her Clear Heart clothing; practicing sword strikes against the early morning sun as she seemed to try and get used to the conditions on top of keeping her skills sharp. Her form showed the skill she had attained over years of her unique mage craft as she slashed through the open air with focus that was perhaps sharper than her own blade.

Woosh! Swoosh! Slash!
Erza let out a sigh as she sent her sword back to her magical pocket and requipped to her standard armor. She figured now would be the time her allies began to wake up, and sure enough as she returned to the cave they had been up and about.

"Morning, I hope you all slept well." Erza said to the group.

Clang!

Alpha's strike would meet the dark blade of the Heartless Knight, as it blocked the blow then cracked its neck in a rather disturbing fashion as its yellow eyes shinned before four tendrils shot from its back with the aim to grasp and ensnare Alpha at close range.

Fumi and Katsu were carried back but saw that it tried to get Alpha. So the two charged quickly to attack the Heartless Knight. It lifted its tendrils high as it tried to keep Alpha back as it tried to ensnare him while he began to clash with the Keyblade Wielders; it managed to hold up well despite the two on one as they traded blows.

But while the Heartless Knight could focus on attack, Fumi & Katsu had to focus on cutting the tendrils to try and stop its advance on Alpha...but it was quick to intercept each strike to keep its tendrils save while it pressed the attack.

"All right, time for this thing to eat a taste of a dragon!" Lilac called out, as she began to spin and build up momentum before she charged forward to drive through the Heartless Rhino with a Dragon Boost as it was vanquished and dissolved.

But she had no time to celebrate, as a group of Heartless soldiers advanced with blades in hand to try and strike the three as Lilac dashed between two of them to knock them away.

Star's Wand

Danny figured that now would be a good time to "let his guard down" for now. He changed back into his human form. He was sure there would be questions to answer. But he would deal with that later.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Belowski
Location: Camelot Castle Grounds

The Mokey Mokey king had successfully taken out, by sheer accident, all of camelot’s Inward defenses. The guards were draped across the stone pillars and floors, several flopped down on the field. The entire City had near grinder to a halt due to this aura.

Caulifa saw it fit to remove this monsterous sized Mokey Mokey from the equation. Firing several ki blasts, almost all of them missing. Only one hit it’s mark...knicking it’s wing. Silence followed, the light hit not seeming to phase it. That is, until it abruptly shattered into millions of tiny pieces.

“That’s some power dude.” Belowski chuckled, his eyes half open. “But get this, after the big Mokey gets destroyed, he splits into three smaller mokeys, so the whole crew is here. Far out huh?”

Suddenly, the three mokey’s emerged from the shattered remains of the Mokey Mokey King. They bounced before landing on the ground.

Mokey Mokey #2: 300 ATK 100 DEF
Mokey Mokey #3: 300 ATK 100 DEF

“Next i’ll Play a little card called Mokey Mokey Smackdown, but relax, you don’t need to stress about that till later.”

The spell card flipped up with a rather red and angry illustration of a Mokey Mokey printed on it.

“Followin’ that, I’m gonna play my little friend happy lover...huhu...”

Belowski gave a small laugh before playing the card. It looked like a pink puff ball with a red heart on it’s head, a set of pink wings accompanying it.

Happy lover: 800 ATK 500 DEF

“Might be pretty bumming, but ‘fraid I’m gonna have happy lover attack...go gushy burst.”

The sleepy duelist commanded the puff ball. It floated toward the struggling caulifa, puffing our it’s cheeks, before shooting a weak pink burst of energy.

Seeing Erza up, Rex adjusted his beanie, ignoring Jamie, who had just transformed back into a human. Before he could go up to make some moves on her, his stomach rumbled. He grasped it, blinking. Come to think of it, he hadn’t eaten anything ever since he got here...a day ago. It was beginning to show, and effect his morale.

Aw geez, what am I gonna eat in the friggin ICE AGE?! Ice on a stick?! We gotta get out of this joint...caveman or no caveman.

“We gotta go...somewhere. Anywhere but not here.” Rex huffed. “It’s cold, no civilization, and I am starving to death!”

~~~~~Star's Wand~~~~~
Twilight scanned the room as it seemed Star's colorful living spells would provide some meals for the group. Twilight considered what she wanted, but found her interest shift to more of food for the mind than anything as she began to trot over to the creature that had introduced itself as the "instruction manual" for Star's wand personified.
"So, you are Star's instructor and the living manual of this wand world right? Is there anything about this inner world we should know about?" Twilight asked as she wanted to get logistics or as much as one could from this magical pocket world. Though she had noticed Dipper go off with Star to find the bathroom or so they claimed.
Name: Caulifla
Location: Camelot
Caulifla slowly made it to her feet. Good news was that she could begin to feel the sleepy effect fade as she began to pick up strength, bad news was it had been far from an instantaneous measure and she would have to wake up gradually as she began to try to shake loose as she wiped the blood off her lip.
She saw she managed to topple the king with a lucky stray shot, not easy to aim while dazed, but three more appeared in its place. The guy then made his move as he produced a rather nonthreatening puff ball on top of some image of an angry version of a marshmallow that she'd have to "worry" for later.
This conjurer's tactics were all odd to say the least.
Either way, with someone like this Caulifla figured it was better to cut the middle man. As the puff ball launched its attack Caulifla would jump to the side; not as sluggish as before but not as precise as usual as she still tried to shake the cobwebs. Either way, she'd advance with a charge....not towards the Mokey-Mokey or the Happy Love but rather glide at high speeds through the defenses as her aim was to try and strike Belowski directly with a knee to his gut.
Glossaryck turned to the Equestria Princess as she asked questions. First to confirm his relation to Star and more than that inquire about the pocket world that Star had sent them to.
"Indeed, living embodiment of her instruction manual. But for her book of spells not the wand. Second within this world time moves at a distorted pace. Nothing insane like say years in here vs. days out there but we shouldn't be in a rush to meet the morning." Glossaryck said as he answered the questions of Twilight and seemingly missed Star taking Dipper along to find the bathroom.
As Star led Dipper down the hall, he began to think of just how he could possibly ditch her to sneak to that door. A feeling that made him feel like Mabel just as much as seeing Star had reminder him of that. But his guilt or concern over how came to a halt as the door that Dipper was led to happened to be the room that was blocked off.
Confused, he turned to Star who had a big but sly smirk on her face as she merely held her index finger over her mouth to signal Dipper to be quiet. "P-pretty sure the bathroom is here. Just gotta make sure and look through it." Star mused with a low tone as Dipper saw her aim; seemed she was a bit craftier than he could have guessed with the psuedo escort to the bathroom. Without her mentor around Star slowly reached for the handle to open the door.
Erza heard Rex's comments as Jamie and Keda began to stir as she held her arms over her chest and had a small grin. "Funny, I figure a warrior of your stature would better endure the elements. But still I agree, we should gear up and move out to sooner get in contact with locals." Erza said, as her first command may or may not have been a tease but she quickly became serious as her expression shifted and she more or less urged everyone to get ready as she gathered up her belongings. Well what of them had come along with her.
After caulifla began to to move out of the way of happy lover’s attack, the pink creature watched her movements. It screeched in panic when it saw caulifla backing a rather crooked beeline toward Belowski. She flew by the trio of Mokey Mokeys, that is, until happy lover thrust herself in her path, shattering upon contact with her blow.
The blow however, upon impacting the creature was still enough to blow Belowski, who stood five feet away, off the ground and into Camelot castle’s Wall. It wasn’t enough to give him immense pain, but it was enough to give him some bruises on his back.
“Ow...haha, that was awesome dude!” Belowski clapped, his pain seemingly toned down by his druggy like apperance. “But now time from some moves of my own.”
The spell card with the red Mokey Mokey began to glow, Belwoski, who was still at the wall, began to get swarmed by his trio of Mokey mokeys.
“Remember when I said you worry about it later?Mokey Mokey smackdown activates. You see, When one of their little friends get sent to the grave, their zen gets all out whack. Or in other words...they get big red and angry.”
Suddenly, the Mokey mokey’s began to puff up, veins opting or off heir heads. Their wings flew yellow as they seemed as utterly enraged as a floating marshmallow could possibly be.
“But no need to stress bud, Mokey’s always send good vibes!”
“MOKEY MOKEY MOKEY MOKEY MOKEY!!!” They yelled in unison.
Their attacks skyrocketed in power. flapping their wings, their combined attacks sending powerful vibrations towards caulifla. The ground had begun to crack just being near such a concentrated area of power. The red vibrations were seen reverberating through the air, Belowski safley behind the mokey’s, the castle wall to his back
The Hunter
Specter's Ship Pipotron Chamber
Elec Man. Okay, Elec. He could remember that. Probably.
He was about to follow the group into the lab. Curious of the surprise that the gremlin had left behind for them. But the Chief put him on watching duty. Over Scott, Hank, the Slayer, and Luis. Which was fine. The man of ants was still a bit out of it, but no reason not to stir up conversation. "So, uh, Mister Hiro. He fights with a big ol' key- and this key is something else, like some sort of...special key. Big...sword...key." It was hard to explain, but the Hunter sure was trying. "And it's not just a sword! It lets him use magic. And I'm not talking about the type of tricks the Hunters use, right? Like, he shouts, 'fire'! And then it shoots out a ball of fire. Amazing. I need ask him how he does it- though if I'm being quite honest there's a lot I need to ask about. Like there was this flat picture of the monkey, he was moving and talking, and when I crushed it he didn't die- he's fine! So it was a moving picture...photograph! Crazy what this world is- Bloody crazy! And this gun-" He was about to shuffle through his coat to pull it out, when something suddenly thumped him. After it had soared down the hall, the thing had hit an immovable force in the Hunter.
It took the Hunter a moment to register that thing- it wasn't simply a thing, but a person. And not just any person- one he had just been talking about. It was Hiro.
The Hunter beamed. "Oi! It's him! This- This is him! Mister Hiro! Ah, we were all so worried about you-" He pulled the keyblade wielder off the ground, before gesturing to Scott. "Hiro, this is Scott, he's with us against the monkey fella. New problem, Specter's got buddies called the Peep on Trones and they want a fight. But everyone here is..." He looked around the room. No one...was really ready to fight. "They've been better. But we got you back! Where have you been anyways? The last time we saw you was fighting the owl, and..." Now the Hunter was really questioning things. Why exactly had Hiro hurtled into him? Why did he seem so beat up? Where did he come from?
The Hunter gazed down the hall the lad had been flung down. A hooded figure, wielding a key as well. Striding towards them.
"...I'm guessing that ain't our friend, is it."
He already had the saw cleaver out in one hand. And with his other, pulled out a molotov - that cloak looked rather flammable.
"Come on, then!" He shouted down the hall.
Eileen the Crow
Central Yharnam
The mention of sewers seemed to be a sore spot for some of the group. Well...No one really enjoyed a sewer. Her mask was filled with herbs and flowers to cover the smells, so she wasn't quite bothered by it... "We can all belly ache over the sewers when we get there. It's a bit of a walk, and we got to slip by some unsavory folk, but it'll all be fine...Just don't look at them too hard."
And as the party walked into the city of Yharnam, Eileen pointed the way...but once again, things were...unpopulated. "Where did the mobs go? I swore I heard them congregatin' over here not long ago..." Around a corner of buildings, there were bright lights. Fire? Lightning? Eileen couldn't tell, but it was like a bloody fireworks show back there...And a mob got tossed from around the corner. Something...or someone...was definitely angry. Eileen sighed.
"...Stay on your toes. Whatever this is, it isn't happy."
...
...
...Perched on a building, blocks away from the conflict, a reptilian creature had perched on the spire of a building. Pah, what a worthless world this was. Ridley had more important things to get to. Samus...How he reviled her. He would find her. Whatever had stolen him away from their fight had no doubt stole her as well. And thus their fight would continue. In due time.
Foolish creatures attempted fighting and quarreling with him. And he refused to give them his all. Why should he? It was a waste of energy of equal wastes of meat. Still, his travels had netted him a curious piece of technology- one that would give him an advantage no doubt. But he still struggled to grasp the full capabilities of such a device. He needed to test it...But he was lucky, quite lucky indeed.
For this city was filled with useless sacks of flesh just waiting to be ripped apart.
Ridley descended into the city below, omnitrix clutched in his talons.
Raiden
Camelot Castle Training Grounds
This fight was...something. Were there words to describe it? Weird, that was a good descriptor.
The sleepy kid wasn't fighting himself. With the thing on his arm, he was using it to summon...cards? Well, not cards specifically but what the cards had on them. Some sort of marshmallow fairy. Several of the bystanders fell in love with it near instantly- and the cyborg could see why. It was, indeed, very cute. But he couldn't help but feel something sinister about it. Because the moment it showed up, his sensors began acting up. Involuntarily, his eyepatch had begun taking several snapshots of the creature- Mokey Mokey. And the moment the girl shattered it into a million pieces? The odd activity stopped.
Though it soon resumed as the boy continued to summon more of the Mokeys. And came to an apex when he combined three into a massive lumbering creature. And when Raiden said massive, he meant it- the great beast of a marshmallow dwarfed the castle in comparison, and Raiden's sensors went the closest thing to haywire he had ever seen. They were trying to take even more pictures, zoom in on it's face, and most alarmingly, attempted to force him into sleep mode...Whatever the hell this thing was, it had smashed through any cyber defense his body had. Or had it at all? As the large figure was smashed by a volley of red lasers from the girl- oh yes, she was firing off energy blasts. He had nearly glossed over that detail, but she was certainly no slouch.
But now, Raiden was curious. Perhaps it wasn't actually breaking into his mainframe, but was influencing his brain with some sort of energy. Considering it did the same thing to several bystanders, some of whom were standing delirious and definitely out of it, and most conked out on the floor.
And yet the boy seemed to never be truly effected by it.
...Or was he? Those who were still standing seemed to be taking on a similar manner to the boy. He had simply become desensitized to the energy, or was perhaps spreading the same thing deluding him on a massive scale...Which wasn't exactly good.
Should he of said something? Maybe, but he doubted the kid would listen to him. Raiden may of been intimidating, but he doubted this kid would be intimidated by anything. Besides, if it was just here that was effected, it couldn't of been that bad.
Hopefully, the wave had only effected the training grounds.
Hopefully.
...
And now the flying marshmallows were pissed off.
This fight truly was...something.
Jetstream Sam
Camelot Woods
Demon jerky? Sure, why not. It could've been a bag of dung for all he cared, Sam was only interested in appearing to accept Dagda as a leader. In the most passive aggressive way possible, of course. Though the fact it was food made it somewhat useful in comparison. Still, he'd hold off on eating it until truly necessary. Didn't want to eat it and learn that he was suddenly forever indebted to Dagda or Nanashi.
"Yes, yes, thank you, the gift is lovely. I'll hold on to it." He told Nanashi, as the young godslayer walked after his...god? Sam didn't know. Though once Nanashi and Dagda were out of earshot, Azula began talking. Play their game. Sam was already trying to do that.
"Well...yes. I've been doing that. Though I suppose I was a bit aggressive." The swordsman shrugged. He turned to the king of the Koopas. "Bowser? Look, I understand. We want independence. We don't want to serve some self righteous orange mohawked man. So don't. You just follow, nod, and be independent. Get it?"
But it was then something overcame Sam. He felt very drowsy. "...The hell...?" He blinked, shaking his head and stumbling. Putting a hand on a tree for support, he spoke. "...Do you two feel that?"
Samus, Sarah, and the Flamebringer
Mountainside Conflict Aftermath
And under the blinding light of the Aether strike, both Samus and Sarah could feel Arthur's resistance...stop. Same for his steed, as both of the being faded to dust, utterly obliterated. Sarah fell to the ground with a "phew", but Samus stood back up. The Flamebringer menaced at the retreating forces of fiends, shouting war cries and threats...in what was clearly not English. Before a long sigh.
The talks of the King had interested the mercenary. "King Arthur, of the round table. It is a story. Where I am from at least. He pulled a sword from the stone, and became the king." It was almost ironic how quickly she snapped from ranting in a foreign language to citing a very English story. "Thunderhead. Do you know what I am talking about?"
"Uh...yeah, yeah." Sarah said. Her knowledge of the story was a bit shaky, sure, but she spoke with confidence. "Yeah, he has his band of merry men. Lancelot, Percival, Gwen, Mortimer...Uh. I don't know who else."
The Flamebringer shrugged. "...I feel like you are wrong. But I don't know enough to disprove it."
"I'm probably wrong. There's a few more, like, um..."
"Northwest." Was all Samus said, giving no mind to the King Arthur discussion. Instead looking into the distance, over the line that had been dragged in the ground.
"...I'm definitely sure there wasn't a merry man named Northwest."
"I was talking about the thing that sped by here. The thing that Arthur didn't like- called it a knave. Going northwest." Samus then pointed in the direction it had come from. "It came southeast of here. We follow the line, that is our best bet."
"If you pardon me being blunt- why?" The Flamebringer did have something of a point. They knew little of the land, or who had made the line in the earth- at least, she and the others. Samus had connected dots in her head.
"Two reasons- Whatever a monster king claims is their enemy is likely a friend of ours. And two, I'm fairly sure I know who could move fast enough to do this. Falcon, Robin, Lucina. You all remember Sonic the Hedgehog, right?" This was guesswork on Samus's part. But in her opinion? Solid guesswork. If there were three tournament participants here already, there might've been more.
Though this was lost on Sarah. Who was utterly lost. "...Who?"
Kiran
Camelot Castle Town
Why...why did he say "hit up" in the presence of Bro? And why was he chasing a literal goddess?...Nevermind, he'd fix it. He'd fix it! Eventually. But Bro didn't go anywhere. Instead, motioning Kiran to...
...
"What." A snow covered shack selling hot dogs. For...G? And at the counter was that skeleton. Noticing the two, the skeleton waved at them. Kiran had...many questions. Like why there were hot dogs being sold. This skeleton clearly did not have a distributor- shouldn't of, at least, in this weird alternate universe of both elves and anthropomorphic animals, under the rule of a King Sonic...And what was a G? How did it convert to USD? Did...Did skeletons need to eat? What was with the snow?? This was quickly giving him a headache.
But there was a deep sound...a pulse of energy blew through the area. While Sans and Bro seemed to be majorly unaffected, Kiran...the world began to blur for him. Confusion enraptured him. One word permeated his head as his eyes closed. "M-Mokey?"
And Kiran fell to the ground, deep asleep.
Priscilla, Jackson, Quint
Goldenwalk Streets
Wario casually plucking the hundred pound railgun off of Jackson and Quint was a bit insulting. More so for Jackson than Quint. Jackson had his regeneration, but other than that? Gunplay and raw strength. And one was much better than the other. So for some portly italian to just hold it over his shoulder like it was nothing? Kind of annoying. "Um, thanks." Quint said, still trying to be kind about the situation. He personally wasn't offended, anyways.
"Yeah. Thanks." Followed up Jackson, in possibly the most passive aggressive manner. "Just lug it around and until we need it. And hey," He never quite dropped the tone, but he perhaps realized that Wario carrying the railgun gave them a common enemy in the raccoon. "Don't give it to raccoon over there, alright?"
"Hey, hey guys." Priscilla called out. "We're moving out- lets not linger. We've got the drop on them...Yadda yadda." They were burning precious time. Whatever these guys were doing here, they were clearly not regular people, and certainly not of their world. And probably didn't have the best ideas for the universe as a result.
Lucario's attempts at sussing out the aura of the soldier was...somewhat successful. ...Commander Cecil...So much for the promotion...I knew we should've retreated... Nothing specific, but he did serve someone named Cecil. Until one juicy tidbit came up...Zeliyis, my great lord, I have failed... The tone he took on in that thought seemed both devout and grim. In any case, it seemed to be the last interesting information his aura could reveal.
"Not to rush you Lucario, but we've looted enough off these guys- Or, whatever it is your doing over there..." Priscilla was a bit oblivious to the idea of mind reading. Lucario had demonstrated it on them, but not on someone unconcious... "We just need to get moving. If we don't go, whoever these soldiers worked for is going to do something bad. If they haven't already.
Silver Scythe
Goldenwalk Business District
Scythe didn't get an answer to who the guy was, but he was kicking Scorpio's gimmicky ass, tearing apart the buildings he attempted to cling to, generally ruining the street. Very cathartic, but Gwen requested some help. There wasn't much the Scythe could do at such a range- so she was glad to oblige. "Here- I got you." Pulling the spiderwoman to her feet, it was pretty much impossible to not notice the nasty wound. "Did he do that to you? Bastard scorpion, I'll rip his tail off and shove it-"
The Scythe's enthusiasm was interrupted by the clanking of Scorpio's tail shifting once again. The whir of the gun. "Not again...Get behind me!" Bullets clanked off the armor once more, which was already pretty beat up. More paint chipped away off the suit, but it was protecting the Scythe just as well as it had before. The armor did have it's limits though, as Nathan's blaster did start eating into the armor...So she probably couldn't take one of those lasers that Scorpio shot off through a building.
"Hey! Laser guy!" She shouted out to Freeman, unaware of his actual name. "Can you, like, fling this guy? Just get him the hell out of here?"
-----
The Soldier and Brian Decker
City of Mercy
"HOLY MARY MOTHER OF JOSEPH!" The Soldier exampled as he gazed upon the beast. It was a terrible monster, no doubt summoned by a gaggle of devious wizards attempting to undermine the Soldier's valiant efforts! "Young patriot!" Soldier was talking to Todoroki. He tossed the teenager...a shotgun. "It's time! I will wrestle the beast into submission with my patriotic hands and shovel, and you will shoot it in the head! Do not pity it, for it is a demon from the depths of hell itself, summoned by a man in bathrobe, surrounded by discount candles!" Unfolding his shovel, he let out a call to the heavens. "YAAAAAAH!"
The Ogretail had not expected pure patriotism ablaze as the Soldier tackled it. The head of the shovel bashed on it's reared face over and over again, but proved to do nothing but annoy it. Still, he managed to stop it from attacking Scout, and was wrangling it with one hand, shovel continuing the smack in the head with the other. "Give em' hell Engi and Patriot! You too, Scout! YAAAAAH!" Doe clearly couldn't contain his roar of pure red, white, and blue rage, though was probably only buying moments of time.
And down the street, was Decker. Wondering if he was deeply drunk or if there really was an old timey soldier wrestling a monster as some sort of construction worker and vintage baseball player marveled at it. He held his disruptor in his hand, clicking it on and off in anticipation. He didn't know the capabilities of a monster like that, but not a lot could resist a couple hundred volts to the neck. Well, except armored guards, and those modified to resistances to certain voltage levels...Never mind, many things could resist a couple hundred volts, but some random monster out in some abandoned city? Definitely a sure fire KO. And if it didn't? He could slink away with the cloak. As long as the monster didn't have a good sniffer...he was sweating like crazy under the leather.
Okay...maybe he was a bit out of his element, but if Decker learned one thing from field work in Invisible? Being out of your element forces you to adapt, and Decker could certainly do that.
...Probably.
Hornet
Arendelle Mountains
The Heartless Knight had broke free of Hornet's thread, but that was expected. Not expected, the blast of darkness, that flew Hornet back quite a few feet. The icy mountain made this worse, but she remained solidly on the mountain. Alpha, on the other hand...He needed support, calling for a bungie technique. She recalled that, used occasionally in their previous travels.
"On it." A toss of her needle, and there was thread wrapped around Alpha's leg. And with a flick of the needle, she sent Alpha soaring ever higher, and the thread fell away as fast as it came. "Keep up the offensive." She relayed, as Hornet threw her needle towards the Heartless Knight's back. Fumi and Katsu needed heat off them- if Hornet and Alpha could keep it distracted, Kris and the keyblade wielders could finish it off. The two had an expertise in quick, distracting things, while the other three were far more direct.
They could overcome this threat. As they had before, and would do again in the future. Hornet was sure of it.
Commander Cecil
Temporary Zeliyis Relay Station
So Chara was to come with him. "So be it- your choice has been duly noted. As for you, men..."
...
A small troop was left with Cecil, Chara, and Flowey. Decently armed, but ultimately unimpressive. "I'm afraid if you were looking for a brute show of power, you may of chosen poorly. Still, you do as you wish. I do have one question to ask though, if you'll indulge." Cecil glanced at Flowey, who was still staring at the floor. Shame? Disappointment?
"That flower you carry. What makes it so special? Why did Scorpio want it, and why did you withhold it from him?" Cecil didn't know whether this would strike a nerve in the macabre girl, but curiosity did kill the cat. And in this case, the cat was a demon cyborg. In any case, Cecil didn't quite care. Slaying him would end up in a domino effect for her- even if it took Chara all the way to Zeliyis, killing him in that moment would kill her at some point or another.
So in a way, it was a win win for Cecil.
...But he did prefer the one where he lived.
Líf
The Village
Líf was quiet. Then chuckled. "Ahh, but you are complacent. Complacency leads to...mediocrity. Your people are flawed. Held back by that complacency. But now...you have me." He looked away from Tau. Stain and Elma were of no object to him, but Líf was stewing options in his head...The King of Askr needed to think. A way to keep these men under his reign, along with the swordsman and manakete. "Tau, was it?" Líf turned towards the chieftain once again. "I offer your men weapons and tools that make your hunts effortless. Materials that will keep you warm far longer than your huts currently do. And all I want in return? Loyalty. To the last breath."
His clawed hand extended, in an attempt to strike a deal. Though perhaps not simply attempt- rather, force. "Take my hand, and our contract will be set." Líf's fingers writhed a tad. "Take it."
Name: Hiro, Kale, Keyblade Trinity Squadron, Kyuseishu
Location: Specter's Ship
Hiro groaned a bit as Hunter tended to him, though he tried to suck it up and worked to stand up as the cloaked figure gazed upon them from afar as Malcom had to process the new arrivals. Appeared that the group had grouped up together; even the ones that the Omnidroid had been assigned to dispose of.
Seems that we'll need to make some upgrades. But if nothing else it softened a few of them which should make this easier...
"It's admirable you'd stand with your ally, but I believe after all you've been through another fight would be risk you cannot afford to take. So please, consider that this matter does not concern you and just walk away. Because one way or another...." Malcolm began to say, as his Keyblade began to shimmer in response.
-----
A shimmer that had been reflected in both Andrew & Renee's Keyblades, as they had stood on the ship nearby Specter's base as both cloaked figures exchanged glances at each other as they nodded and soon enough they each opened a portal and walked through it leaving the magical avatar of Kyuseishu with Kale's unconscious body in Specter's secondary ship.
"Seems things are getting interesting, I suppose I should ask if you care much what happens to the others with the Keyblade Wielder there?" Kyuseishu's avatar asked as quite frankly all the Trinity Squadron cared for was getting Hiro what happened to the others was left to the imagination. Naturally his gaze shifted to Kale's prone body, that seemed to fidget a bit as her eyebrows frowned and she let out a groan.
-----
"....we are getting our target." Malcolm finished, at the same moment as twin portals appeared to his left and right as Andrew and Renee appeared before the portals faded. The Trinity Squadron had arrived, as the trio of cloaked Keyblade Wielders stared Hiro & Hunter down as Hiro panted a bit; with his magic drained he had no options but melee which against these three was not to go in his favor. Still....
"G-get to Kale, get her to safety. I can stall these clowns."Hiro insisted to Hunter, even if he had no magic to use he still adopted the heroic ideal as he desired to fight them to give them time to get to Kale; whatever time that would logically allow. After all it had been his fight, not theirs and after Kale he'd rather avoid anyone else getting hurt.
Name: Azula & Bowser, Caulifla
Location: Camelot
Neither Bowser or Azula had the time to question what came over Sam, when that same wave of drowsiness hit them like a truck. In truth they had been on the edge of the range, but that had changed little from their perspective as Bowser collapsed to a knee while its claws dug into a tree.
"W-what....what trickery is this..." Bowser growled with teeth clinched much as he battled the exhaustion off pure stubborn will as Azula managed to remain upright....with a blue flame lit under her palm as she used the sting of the heat to try and combat whatever caused this sluggishness to spread throughout her body.
I-is this some bending method? N-no, f-foreign land. This has to be the effect of something in the area...something, or someone...
------
Caulifla cursed as that little angel or whatever got in the way of her strike and was shattered on impact, the force of the destruction enough to knock the conjurer back as he had been sent flying.
Before she had a chance to follow up, the trio of Mokey creatures formed a protective wall before the chilled duelist as they began to turn red and almost cartoonishly angry from the effect of some "spell" as their wings began to flap as powerful shockwaves followed; ones strong enough to shatter the ground between herself and the trio of creatures and one that advanced on her quickly.
Caulifla's eyes widened, she had no time to doge given how close she was to the trio. So she had no choice but to cover herself with a guard and aim to raise her ki to try and brace for impact. And what an impact it had been, as the ground shattered around her while she tried to dig her feet for support she felt wave after wave after wave slam into her body as her teeth clinched and she felt her body rock behind the force of this trinity attack.
A force so great that it knocked Caulifla back and through the air as the field shattered to bits. "GAHHHHHHH!"
Caulifla's cry of pain was cut off when her body slammed into something, or someone a nameless guard who happened to be slumbering against a wall to the castle as her body slammed through it creating a large hole as the wall cracked from the impact of the collision. There was silence for the longest time which at first gave the impression Caulifla had been taken out but the shot, but an audible groan from the darkness showed she had still been stiring.
Damn it....this guy is giving me a headache. A-and a body ache...
Caulifla inside the hole groaned but worked her way to her feet. Oddly, she felt her hair wet for some reason....only for her eyes to widen as the slumbering guard had began to drool on it as his body had slumped against hers when she crashed into him. Caulifla was quick to shake him off ans wipe the drool out as that bit of a gross out was replaced by general pain as she felt the impact of the shockwaves as her body ached over. Which explained why Caulifla was slow to stand and slow to get out of the hole, but she tried to play it cool as she stretched her shoulders and had a smirk to Belowski.
"N-not bad. But it will take more than your choir routine to keep me down!" Caulifla declared, her usual bravado working both to hype herself up but also try to mask the pain of that last attack; both to her enemy and herself. But with a loud yell as she began to channel ki it appeared that the impact of the shockwave strikes had far from sapped her fight as she began to gather and charge red ki in her right palm; one that grew larger and larger by the second as she extended her palm forward and aimed it at the trio of Mokey Mokey.
"Crush...Wave!" Caulifla called out, firing a full charge red energy wave as her aim was simple; to blast those oversized marshmallows to kingdom come and once more remove the guard that Belowski had set up for himself in one clean blast.
Name: Dipper, Raven, Star
Location: The Wilds (Star's Wand)
As Raven had her waffle brought to her, and the various magical spells almost danced about in the kitchen the "whimsical" scene was not enough to take her mind of the pair who left as they seemed gone a bit long for a bathroom trip. As she scanned the waffle her mind race and a certain theory came to light...
With the cost seemingly clear, Star and Dipper tip toed inside the open room. With a mixture of excitement and worry between the two of them as they quietly entered and slowly closed the door behind them. Well, partially, as Star failed to close it properly so it would unknowingly crack open; a mere sliver, but enough cue for anyone who happened to venture down that hall to know someone or something walked inside.
And what did they find waiting for them? What had been worth such a risk to go against her master's words?
An empty room. Disappointment set in quickly as Dipper and Star looked around but neither found anything. Seemed it really had been just a spare room, and the letdown was expressed through a tired groan.
"Oh come on! Why would he make such a big deal and totally hint at something cool here if it was just a spare room? I got the vibe he was hiding something, it was that vibe you felt that vibe right?" Star asked Dipper, who had been about to answer before Star ended up walking along a certain spot of the floor...
"Waaaaaaaaa!"
Star cried out as a trap door seemed to appear from the section of the ground her foot stepped on, and she had been sent into some abyss as Dipper looked on in shock as he walked over to it.
"Star!? H-hold on I am coming!" Dipper called out, or rather down as he tugged his cap tight and then jumped down the trap door. There he found what seemed to be a slide, one that led both Star and him down to some underground section as they both stumbled into the middle of a room.
A darkened room, that the trap door which revealed itself to be star-shaped, was given illumination as the pair stood on what seemed to be a purple and pink decorated floor in square designs but within a circular area.
"Woah, that was a bumpy ride. Didn't know we had slides here."
"At this point...I don't know what your wand has."
As both helped each other up, and the room became fully illuminated, a series of large murals in the walls around them became visible. Pictures that seemed to primarly focus on different women in different scenarios that was forign to Dipper and only added to the confusion. Though Star's eyes had widened as she recognized some of the figures.
"H-hey, that's great great grandma Celena! And over there is great grandma Solaria! And....and even Eclipsa!" Star said, as three of the murals seemed to be of her family line as each picture seemed to have a stone tablet with a curious description about the member of the Butterfly line that ruled Mewni; a highlight of their time as queen and protector of the land. Or in Eclipsa's case as its terror.
Allegedly.
"So, these are your...family?" Dipper asked as Star gave a nod. It seemed to be, and given the fact that Glossaryck seemed to be in every picture without fail who had been tasked with teaching those who inherit the magic wand Star used, seemed to confirm it. Though one mural in the room had caught their attention above the others as both Dipper and Star walked over to find a...decorative image.
An image that had several figures in it. One a young man with blonde hair styled with some "m" shaped bangs, with a short blonde goatee covering his chin and lips that wore an oak brown cloak. Next to him was a young woman that had long brown hair that wore a tight black bodysuit. With them were four more figures; a young man with short blond hair that wore a dark brown vest over a light brown top, a pair of indidivuals who could be mistaken for siblings of some sort....with matching black hair and red eyes, though one was a woman with long and spiky hair in red & black and the other a guy with short hair and a cape. Among the four was a young woman with curious silver eyes in a white cloak as all of this group seemed to have some curious weapons drawn. All of them, including other figures present, seemed to be in a charge, and it had been the figure who led it and another by her side that really drew in Star & Dipper's interest.
Riding what seemed to be a goat-pig, that Star knew went by the name Chauncey, was a young woman with white hair with pink diamond cheek tattoos who stood on her steed and had her wand firing a spell towards someone; a lizard-humanoid that Star knew all too well as the vile Toffee. And riding by her was a man with a grizzled aftershave and jacket along with glasses.
"T-that....that is Ford!" Dipper called out in shock.
"A-and that's my mom!" Star added as well, shaking her head as she decided to read the passage on the tablet below. Though curiously, while all the other queens had one passage this one seemed to have two.
Moon the Undaunted.
The immortal monster will long be haunted,
by the darkest spell of Moon the Undaunted.
To combat an evil that must not be named,
she gathered heroes of legendary fame.
Heroes of legendary fame? An evil of no name? What did this mean? Was it Toffee? Seemed curious as he had gotten a mention already in the first passage, and the fact this one seemed to focus on the allies of Moon rather than just herself. This had all been puzzling, and as Dipper scanned the mural again he noticed something ominous about it. Behind Toffee as he was locked in battle with Moon, was this dark presence in the background; a void if you will, that seemed to carry a darkness about it as the sky seemed to crack.
Name: Azula, Bakugo
Location: Yharnam
"The hell...." Bakugo muttered with his usual temper, though thankfully for once he managed to restrain it to a whisper as he scowled ahead at the scene as members of what appeared to be a mob were tossed about as a chaotic scene played out before them. Naturally he had been tense; both out of paranoia and just general aggression given his frustration about the Todoroki sacrifice that he shook in place he seemed ready to just jump out to investigate. Though thankfully he just had the tiniest restraint to avoid it.
For now.
Akame herself meanwhile had her eyes trained on something else. Or rather, a sound. Having been made to fight for her life with her sister against the worst danger beasts as a child, Akame was well tuned to all her senses and had come to know the cues of such dangerous creatures better than most. As such, the subtle sounds in the night sky....the sounds of something that seemed to move in a flapping pattern through them as she focused on the sound and nothing else became more clear. Soon enough, the assassin had shifted her gaze to the group and her hand to the handle of her blade.
"We have company. Something is in the air....something big."
Name: Lucario, Thor & Rocket Raccoon
Location: Goldenwalk
"Zeliys."
Lucario had spoken a name, a lone name, as he moved his paw from the unconscious soldier's head while he had been called to finish whatever it was doing. While it had not been all he desired, probably because scattered thoughts were the best he could have expected out of this, it was still useful to some capacity as he walked back over to Priscilla to further clarify.
"They seem to serve under the command of one named, Cecil, if his regretful thoughts are to be believed. But more telling is this Zeliys. A lord of some sort he seems to hold in even higher regard. I presume this Zeliys is the one they all serve. And before you ask I can read the aura of all living creatures and as such gain insight into their emotions and thoughts. To a degree." Lucario explained to the group as Rocket gathered up his scrap items though kept his eye on the prize shared by the two "morons" for the time being.
"So, basically we gotta find this Zeliys guy and waste him? Once we get out of here naturally. Seems simple." Rocket said as Thor had overheard the conversation and had to nod in agreement.
"The talking rabbit is correct. And if the risk of staying here is that whoever is in charge will get upset, I see no reason to flee. Bring me this Zeliys I say." Thor said as he welcomed the challenged and took Priscilla's warning as a plan of attack as Rocket groaned at the mention of the rabbit nickname once more. Lucario merely rolled his eyes.
"If this is your idea of "strategy" human then I can guess you sacrificed sense for luck to last this long." Lucario muttered as he walked to Priscilla as Thor gazed upon the Aura Pokemon who seemed to be the consistent critic to...well anything.
"Well, usually it tends to work out well that way. Besides staying to fight the good fight is what heroes do, how can I be expected to kill Thanos if I flee from this Zeliys?" Thor asked, but the name Thanos lacked the usual effect outside his verse as Lucario appeared confused.
"What is a Thanos?" Lucario asked and before Thor spoke up Rocket decided to clarify.
"An intergalactic tyrant & psycho geologist who wants to kinda kill half of....everything, back where we live. So stopping him is kinda important, and that ax beef beard here has in hand there is meant to be the big anti-Thanos killer. But we kinda need to get back to him to use it, so we gotta get past this Cecli and then this Zeliys first if they are behind this. Much as I think staying to fight this entire army of pissed of allies would make it fast I'd rather fight smarter not harder. So I vote with the walking mutt and Prissy here." Rocket said as he made his vote while he loaded his favorite gun as Thor would begrudgingly concede.
Name: Fumi, Katsu
Location: Arendelle (Elsa's Castle)
As Hornet made her move, the Heartless Knight....did nothing. Fumi & Katsu had been ready to charge but a sudden aura leaked from this unnatural Heartless as it raised its dark blade in the sky. In an instant, its blade change shape as the dark aura seemed to mold it and after Hornet fired her needles to its back its transformation had been complete which caused Fumi & Katsu's eyes to widen.
"I-is that...." Katsu stuttered.
"N-no way...." Fumi added with one of her own.
"Gravity."
What they had seen was the dark sword transform into a dark Keyblade; a perfect replica in fact, with a black handle and dark silver blade as just before the needles could reach it a dark sphere formed at the type and its gravitational pull sucked the projectiles around it as it gathered Hornet's needles as they circled around the gravity sphere; once all had been gathered, the Heartless Knight launched the sphere and the needles; needles coated with dark auras as they had been fired them at the two Keyblade wielders as Fumi and Katsu were forced back as they worked to dodge and block the projectiles to the best of their ability.
All the while a lone raven observed in the skies above the carnage of the battle before them.
-----
Observing through the eyes of a lone raven on the mountains, within the heart of her cursed castle, the Empress of Evil Maleficent looked on as her pet project took its next step; forming its own Keyblade and being able to tap into the magic on instinct. A satisfied grin showed on her oddly youthful appearance as she looked onto her crystal ball with pride.
Excellent. Show these fools your power.
Mokko
Kidomaru
Wightbeard’s Ship
Kidomaru was uneasy at the lack of movement or signs of life- or afterlife, for that matter. He had a fairly decent understanding of the threat he faced. The spirits aboard this ship could hit him, but he couldn’t hit them. That was already a massive disadvantage if he got into another scuffle, but he did have one trick at his disposal- chakra. The chakra could come into contact with the spirits.
Kidomaru scanned the entire deck, spotting nobody. He glanced over the side, discovering that the ship was still levitating over the ocean below.
“Well, well, well, look who’s up and at ‘em!” a familiar, gruff voice cut the silence. Wightbeard. Kidomaru turned on his heel, but it was too late. The spirit appeared on the deck, axe in hand. With one fluid motion, he cut Kidomaru in two.
The body hit the ground, and Wightbeard only laughed.
“Give up the act, kid, I know yer too smart to come up here with so little caution,” Wightbeard stated. His theory proved correct as the illusion faded, revealing that the ‘corpse’ was in reality just a floorboard.
“Eh? One of my floorboards, ain’t it?” the pirate examined. “Why, that must mean yer crawlin’ below as I speak!” he laughed loudly.
“Well, I’m not ‘bout to tear my ship at the mast to track down a single pest, ya hear? But I got a lil deal for ye, see? You come up here right now, and I’ll consider making ye part of my crew!”
No movement whatsoever could be seen on the deck.
“Come on, don’t be a bugger, lad,” Wightbeard called out. “I won’t axe ye, sailor’s promise.”
Still, no motion. No sign of Kidomaru’s presense.
“Think yer slick, eh?” Wightbeard chuckled. Suddenly, he looked back at the broken floorboard. The larger half disappeared in a puff of smoke, and there stood Kidomaru in its place.
“A trick within a trick, hm? Gotta hand it to ye, lad, ye might’ve even fooled ol’ Wightbeard if he wasn’t such an observant old ancient,” the pirate said, his laugh continuing.
“I didn’t reveal myself to get axed,” Kidomaru stated.
“Hey now, I swore on my sailor pride!” Wightbeard stated firmly. “But anyway… ye wanna join my crew, then, is that it?”
“I want the details,” Kidomaru replied, crossing one pair of arms.
“Listen here, lad,” Wightbeard said, slinging his axe over his shoulder. “This ol’ sailor’s got plenty of gunk goin’ on out here; workin’ for that Zeliyis has got its downsides, ya hear? Lots of people would like to see this ship sink all the way down to Davy Jones’ locker. I could use a tactic-savvy fellow like yerself in my crew.”
“Why should I believe you?” Kidomaru questioned. “How do I know you won’t just kill me when my back is turned?”
“Why do ye think I kept you alive, lad? I wouldn’t have wasted my time sparing you if I didn’t see potential!”
Kidomaru raised his eyebrows. That was a good point, but he still didn’t fully trust the pirate.
“Alright, fine. I’ll join your crew,” Kidomaru said, though he had little intention of remaining loyal. This seemed like a good way to stay alive, though. Being part of a pirate crew was probably better than being dumped into the ocean.
Nanashi & Dagda
Camelot
“Don’t worry about them, kid,” Dagda said, sensing Nanashi’s thoughts. “If they want to come, they’ll catch up. It’ll work out under my hand.”
Nanashi nodded in agreement at the claim, but suddenly, he found himself rather… tired. No, VERY tired. The exhaustion hit him like a brick wall, and he nearly collapsed. But suddenly, a jolt of energy shot up his spine, snapping him back to consciousness.
“There’s some kind of sleep magic coming from that castle,” Dagda explained. “I’ll keep you from hitting the ground like a sack of potatoes, but be ready to handle whatever just made you nearly pass out. Understand?”
“Understood, Dagda,” the human nodded. He was ready for combat, if necessary. This definitely seemed shady. Dagda didn’t seem to be affected, and he was being more involved than he normally was. That was a plus, at least.
Noah Kaiba
Being at the epicenter of whatever Belowski had just set in motion, Noah almost immediately found himself sitting down, leaned up against a wall nearby. He wasn’t totally knocked out yet, but it was only a matter of seconds. How annoying- he’d JUST spent half his life knocked out.
Luckily, he was kept awake by his trusty duel monster. A silhouette of a tall woman in a lengthy gown wielding a staff flickered next to him, before knocking him over with a hit to the head with her staff.
Noah grunted- that was one way to do it. Not the way he would have chosen, though. When he looked back at the battlefield, he wasn’t exactly sure what was going on. He stood, rubbing his eyes as he watched.
Maxwell
Maxwell blinked, glancing over at Frisk as she asked him whether the globe belonged to his sister. He stared at her for a few moments- he was unsure of how to reply. She seemed friendly… though, he didn’t know why. People were rarely friendly for no reason, in his experience. In fact, most people he’d met had only put weight on his shoulders.
“Uh… yeah. It did- no, no, it does,” he corrected himself, still telling himself that she was alive, just fossilized. A part of him was still uncertain about that- a small part considered that it might be impossible to bring her back.
Like hell he cared what that part of him had to say.
“Why do you care?” he asked her, trying not to make eye contact. He was no idiot. He knew he wasn’t great at social interactions- predictably, he was better with pencil and paper than with eye contact and speaking aloud. Lilly was more of a talker than him. He was more of a… creative. She was a social. He’d always envied that about his sister.
Shen: King of Digimon
Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Belwoski
Location: Camelot
Belowski just looked on as his now super angry Mokey Mokey’s released a powerful storm of vibrations, ripping into caulifla’s defenses. It tossed her into the wall of Camelot castle, blasting the bricks apart into rubble. Belowski turned his head, watching caulifla mask her injuries, talking a big game. A smile grew on Belowski’s face as he gave a low chuckle.
“Ohh...haha. You don’t look so hot.” Belowski said to her. “Your trying so hard. But why dude? Why not just chillax, ya know? Take it easy.”
Caulifla seemed to ignore this, charging up a powerful attack. As the energy built up in her palms, Belowski just stood there, mesmerized looking at the glowing lights.
“Far out...”
The Mokey Mokey’s Desperately sent out their attacks once more at the energized wave that caulifla had sent out, only managing to slow the attack. They began to sweat...heavily. It got closer and closer before-
*CRASH!*
*CRASH!*
And explosion erupted, the attack enveloping Belowski’s sids of the field, however repelled from him personally due to the vibration shields of the mokey’s Attacks. As the smoke cleared, it appeared as though the Mokey’s had been utterly wiped. That is...until only one last Mokey was revealed, huffing and puffing in the air, away from the original trajectory of the attack, managing to flee while the attack was slowing.
“That was some wicked power dude. Nearly took out all my little Mokey’s. Only one fella left. But you know what they say, one little guy can make a big difference.” Belowski assured caulifla as he played a card. “I equip the spell card: Psychic blade onto my last Mokey, and i’ll Pay 1,500 life points to give him a power boost.”
Suddenly, an ancient symbol appeared on the ground below the Mokey Mokey. The tiny pillow like creature unsheathed a brilliant blue blade from ground by it’s handle, radiating in blue energy.
“MOKEY!!!!!!”
4,500 ATK. 100 DEF.
“Huhu...power to the Mokey mokey, am I right? Now Mokey Mokey, give her a hit of the mok.”
“MOKEY!!!!!!!”
Using it’s newfound psychic blade, is drove toward caulifla. The energy blade being energized and vibrating wildly similar to it’s own red vibration attack. It drew the sword up, and swung to the Saiyan, aiming to cleave her in two!
"Funny, I figure a warrior of your stature would better endure the elements. But still I agree, we should gear up and move out to sooner get in contact with locals." Erza said
“Just cause I’m a warrior doesn’t mean I’m immune to the cold! Sheeesh!”
Rex shivered. Domino city didn’t have this extreme weather, that’s for sure. He just wanted to get out of this place as soon as humanly, or rather magically possible.
“Let’s just go...I hate this place, everything about this place, and I just want to move on. Bah...preferred giant mechs over this.”
Name: Specter
Location: Specter’s Ship
Specter watched suspiciously as the two other keybalde wielded fled the scene to deal with Hiro. Turning to their leader, who stood in a hologram, specter responded to the man’s question.
“Hm. I care very much to where these dimensional aberrations originate, and their unique technologies. I want them salvageable. Any new technology, be it a sliver, or a large quantity, will send my development in the tactical field dramatically forward. Especially that Hiro.”
Specter then began to move his floating chair closer to his new guest, his finger tapping on his armrest.
“That actually brings me to my question. Why leave the confines of your own dimensional plane to come here? To this backwater planet? Surely there must be something here you have garnered interest in?”
Vriska Serket
Sequin Land - Mermaid Falls
Oh hell yeah. This is what Vriska had been dying for ever since her battle against Jack Noir had been snatched from her. A fight. A REAL fight. Slaughtering an army of angry fish people would quench her thirst for action, blood, and violence. Quickly, the troll deactivated her rocket boots. Their flames disappeared as Vriska lifted into the air another foot, before plummetting down, captchaloguing Ahab's Crosshair in her Strife Deck before slamming into the earth, landing on both feet with a light grunt, her smirk ever-present as her Fluorite Octet appeared in her hand once again.
"Rotty, stay out of the way!" She commanded, before looking toward the Contessa. "Spidermom. Have your gremlins or whatever focus on the fish ladies. I've got the big one." With that, she tossed her die to the ground, and took off at a run toward the Giga Mermaid, easily outpacing anything a human could pull off. Her rocket boots activated, pushing her above the wall of incoming mermaids, launching her over them, soaring toward their queen as the Fluorite Octet worked their magic.
"Please be a destruction gauntlet, please be a destruction gauntlet..." She muttered to herself as she rapidly approached the Giga Mermaid, her excitement reaching boiling point. "Almost..."
That was when the die worked their magical magic. A small brown creature appeared on top of the Giga Mermaid's head, flopping around like a fish, wiggling about, flailing its tiny legs frantically. "Fuck." Was all Vriska could say. She'd summoned possibly the worst roll she could have. The aforementioned 'Weasel of Uselessness'. It was, indeed, a very useless summon. However, Vriska's original plan didn't work out, as she was mid-punch when the weasel appeared, and her bare fist connected with the Giga Mermaid's forehead. While it certainly was a much stronger attack than any human could physically muster, it was doubtful that the attack could actually do anything to the Giga Mermaid as the weasel began to tangle itself in her hair, screeching loudly, now.
Master Chief
Specter's Ship - Krak's Laboratory
The Spartan took a step toward Cutman, easily towering above him, casting a shadow over the robot. Surprisingly, John took a knee as Hope began to collect bits of Elecman lying about. The Master Chief could understand what Cutman was experiencing. All of it. John himself had seen his brothers and sisters slaughtered by the Covenant in his long life of never-ending war. He'd seen the strongest fall, the toughest cry out in fear. He'd heard them cry his name as they were helplessly destroyed. The only difference between those situation's and Cutman's was the ability to do something about it. John had always been in battle during these. He could take action. Avenge the fallen. Cutman, here, wasn't able to. Not yet, at the very least.
Having taken a knee, the Master Chief was nearly eye-level with Cutman, though still a bit taller. "It's not going to be easy." He assured the bot. "But we need you. If you want to avenge your brother, you'll help us beat them. None of us can do it alone. There's a time and a place for everything, so you need to get yourself calm and level-headed. Help Hope with your repairs. Keep yourself occupied. You'll get what you want soon enough- better later than dying now."
Darth Vader
Atlantic Ocean
The waves parted like a violent version of the Red Sea from the Book of Exodus as the Sonic Slash tore through the water, headed for a dark form, and seemingly hitting it's mark- but doing nothing. A funnel of water erupted beneath Sonic, sweeping him away with it so suddenly, that anybody would have been surprised. The dark form under the water vanished, revealing itself to be some kind of optic projection of sorts as the real Vader burst through the wall of water that was cycloning around Sonic, igniting his saber and slashing with terrifying ferocity and intent. Sonic noticed just in time, twirling Caliburn about just in time to block the crimson blade before it decapitated him. "Come on. That's the best you got?" Sonic asked, still maintaining his cocky personality, though Vader didn't seem interested in talking. His breathing seemed to be stronger, now. Faster. The Sith was getting worked up.
Sonic went for another slash with Caliburn, but to his surprise, it collided with the scarlet saber. Vader was anticipating his movements despite his speed, moving before Sonic even knew what his own next move was. Almost like the Dark Lord was glimpsing into the future at his own benefit. Their swords clashed several more times as Sonic attempted to break Vader's defenses AND his strength, but Anakin Skywalker didn't seem to be letting up, seemingly getting stronger with each second, which wasn't a good sign for the hedgehog in any way.
"Now, you die." Vader growled, swiping his arm as though attempting to backhand Sonic, and through the force, the king was sent hurtling into the water wall, bursting through it on the other side. Before he could even attempt a recover, Darth Vader burst through right after him, slashing with a heavy swing that Sonic dodged with a twirl- but not without consequence. The lightsaber grazed his left arm, and it dealt more pain that he'd been expecting.
He couldn't succumb to this wound now, however. His opponent was still on the offense, having easily pushed Sonic onto the defense in a matter of seconds despite the massive speed advantage he had.
Their blades clashed more, sparks of light shining brighter than the sun, lighting up the surface of the water as the two went, the water cyclone ceasing to exist as they abandoned it, pushing the fight closer and closer to shore, both moving with lightning quick movements, neither striking another blow on the other as this went on for a good 30 seconds, both attempting to gain the upperhand, but both proving to the other how equally matched in close combat they seemed to be...
Bro, Sans
Camelot Castle - Town
"Kiran?"
No response. Bro looked down at his fallen little buddy, blinking behind his dark kamina shades. Wtf was this? Could be that skeleton guy doing some weird stuff... Bro knew that guy was shady. Remembering Sans' presence, the eldest Strider brother turned to look at him, finding him in the same position as before, leaning against the hotdog stand, resting his chin in his bony hand. Difference was, this time, his eyes were closed... somehow. A few letter 'z's rose from him, disappearing as others appeared.
Bro just had to assume this was...whatever had happened- doing the talking. He felt drugged. He was familiar with being high, but this was different. Everything was disoriented, and he felt distressed.
And dammit, he felt tired as shit. Deciding he'd just take a nap, too, he leaned up against a wall, sliding down as his eyelids grew too heavy to keep up. Just five minutes couldn't hurt...
Negan, Artemis
Camelot Castle - Dining Hall
Artemis swiveled her head about to glare at Joseph, believing him attempting to show off, before noticing the other occupants of the dining hall passed out on the ground. With swift, graceful movements, she stood, sweeping up to her feet as a crystalline, blue bow appeared in her hands. It was quickly drawn back by the string, a shimmering arrow of what looked like pure light appearing in it, ready to launch, aimed directly at the Joestar's heart. "What did you do to Serena?" She asked coolly, her eyes narrowed, keeping JoJo in her sights.
However, as she was preoccupied with the still conscious man, she failed to notice the dark form rising behind her, hulking black shoulders, body rippling with muscle and strength, standing where Negan lay moments prior.
"Answer me Joseph, or I won't take it easy on you this-" Artemis began, before a black tendril slammed into her, launching her into- and through the wall of the dining hall, sending her crashing into the next room, which seemed to be a storage area for ale, stones flying in every direction.
Venom rose to his full height, tongue lashing out as he grinned, flashing razor sharp teeth. "We hunger..." He breathed, before looking toward Joseph. "We believe you will make a delicious meal." With that, the symbiote lunged, giving no warning.
Fact is, Venom was growing tired of Negan. He acted on charisma. Not the style of Venom in any way. He preferred more... violent methods of negotiation. By that, it means killing and eating his victims. He was growing resentful of his host, but that would all change soon. Negan was merely a tool- a vessel. Venom was still in-search of the one that he believed would be his true bondage partner. It wasn't that idiotic woman or this delicious man or the annoying Negan...
It was someone far more special.
Spider-Gwen, Gordon Freeman
Goldenwalk - Business District
Gordon was advancing with his crowbar, not bothered by his apparent near-death due to Scorpio, but when he heard someone calling out to him, referring to him as 'laser guy', that took a moment to register. It could have been directed at Scorpio, but upon hearing the request from the young woman shouting as Scorpio fired at her and another girl, it wasn't hard to figure out it's intended audience. She wanted him to simply get rid of Scoprio. Get him out of there. Gordon shrugged. Probably would be faster than killing the guy- he was more like a Cockroach than a Scorpion, anyway. Just as annoying to kill.
He tucked back the crowbar, the Gravity Gun returning to his hands as he aimed it at a piece of rubble, firing it at Scorpio, who simply side-stepped it, as Freeman had planned. The rubble hit a still-standing light post at its post, forcing it to fall rapidly at just the right angle, the light bashing Scorpio over the head, shattering on contact with him (which admittedly probably did very little damage at all) just as another piece of rubble was hurled at Scorpio simultaneously.
As this was happening, Gwen took this opportunity to fire a web at Scorpio, the string latching onto his foot as he attempted to escape Gordon's attacks. She fired a second web, attaching the string that held Scorpio to the ground below him, forcing him to take the brunt of the concrete block hurtling his way- or at least that was the hope. Just as quickly as the webbing had appeared, it had been cut by a slash from Scorpio's tail, which swiveled up to fire a blast at the second concrete chunk hurtling his way, forcing it to erupt on contact with his deadly lasers, destroying it before it had a chance to react. At that moment, X moved in again, distracting Scorpio once more.
"Whelp. I tried." Gwen shrugged, giving Scythe a sideways, half-hearted grin.
Gordon would have to get closer to do any flinging of the Scorpio guy. From this distance, there wasn't a ton he could do directly to his enemy with the Gravity Gun, but if Scorpio dared get close enough, then Gordon could easily launch him away at a maximum distance of probably about a mile, but he needed to get rid of his flight capabilities before doing so, as those would render Gordon's attempts useless.
Chara, Flowey
Goldenwalk - Temporary Zeliyis Relay Station
Chara stared at Cecil for a good few minutes, easily making the situation uncomfortable. Flowey, however, raised his head slightly to look at Cecil, before looking back down. Finally seeming to make a decision, Chara answered. "He is my brother. Or rather, was. An empty consciousness of what used to be him resides within this flower due to experimentation." She stated. She had no reason to lie or cover it up to Cecil. In fact, she preferred he asked over Scorpio or Elidocorc. While Cecil was the least impressive of the bunch, it couldn't go without mentioning that he was easily the most... human, for lack of better terms. He certainly held far more empathy. While that wasn't what Chara seeked, she certainly preferred it to hostility, especially toward Asriel. "That is all you need to know, Cecil. We have work to do."
Logan
Goldenwalk - Business District
"Jesus..." Logan muttered under his breath, the exit to the sewers behind him and his group, frowning at the destruction about them. Collapsed buildings, fires, the sounds of distant crying... something felt familiar about all of it, too. Like he'd been in situations like these before, but he didn't know how or when. He glanced back behind him to Spider-Man, Toph, and Alina, his upper lip twitching a bit involuntarily, making his mustache lightly quiver. It felt like forever since they'd first arrived in this place and Logan had ripped those asshats with the guns to shreds...
He turned away from them, glaring ahead of them. "We need to find somebody. Anybody alive... Toph?" He asked, aware of her unique abilities. She was probably the most valuable person there with them. The weird Alina thing- whatever she was, had yet to reveal really anything about herself aside from using motorcycles. Spider-Man, meanwhile, showed a lot more through actions than words. He was annoying, as he'd proven as the team had traversed out of the sewers, but his efforts showed a lot of heart and willpower.
Frisk
Far East - City of Mercy
Frisk tilted her head to the side slightly as she took another bite of pizza. "I care because I understand you, Maxwell." She stated through a mouthful. "Our situations were different, but I know what you've been through. I know what you've done. I've done the same." She swallowed, and took another bite, looking about as though expecting the others to return- they didn't. Her gaze then returned to Maxwell, swallowing her current mouthful. "I doubt my SOUL or my determination can revive your sister from whatever she's in. But it might help, at least a little."
As she spoke, a red heart appeared before her.
The SOUL of Determination.
Rick Grimes
Far East - Fenrir
'Dear Judith,
It's daddy. I'm so sorry I can't be with you and mommy right now, but I have to be gone for some time. It could be a long time. Another place needs my help. I'll come back home, Judith. No matter what happens, daddy's gonna come home. I miss you and love you so so much. Have you still been learning to paint with Miss Clarkson? You're such a talented young lady, and I'm so proud of how far you've come. I can't wait to see your goofy smile again. I love you, Judith.
Lots of hugs and kisses,
Daddy'
Rick leaned back in his chair, staring at the short letter he'd written. He still wanted to say so much more, but he didn't. Why? Because he doubted she'd ever get to read this- but writing it still made him feel better all the same. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't homesick. His gut felt like it was twisting, even after a refreshing nap. His side wasn't stinging anymore, meaning that the wound the people at Fenrir had healed was probably about fully recovered now.
He gently rubbed his beard, still staring at the letter, thinking about the day he'd woken from his coma. He'd awakened into a world completely different. If he was being honest... this felt like a twisted version of that. Maybe not quite as traumatic, though. He'd been through so much, already... even the sight of someone close dying didn't have much pull on him. It hurt, sure, but not as much as he would have liked it to.
He was still in the patient room until the doctors were sure he was fully recovered and well, but they'd abided his wishes, and provided him a CD player. It had been years since he listened to music, and when he'd heard they had working music players, he couldn't resist.
He turned his gaze from the letter to the music player. They'd provided him the music he'd requested, and reached over, pressing the power button. It whirred to life, and he then moved his forefinger to the play button, pressing it down, starting the music.
A hand lightly swiped the mist off of a foggy mirror, Rick looking at himself through it, a towel wrapped around his waist. He wiped more fog off the mirror, before looking down at his shirtless torso, staring at where his wound had been just a day earlier. All that remained was a white circle- a scar. He poked it, finding it didn't hurt, but the skin definitely felt tender. He shook his head, looking up from the wound to a shaving kit on the sink. He'd keep the beard, but it could use a trim. Michonne loved his beard. Lori never did, hence why he always tried to stay shaven when he'd been married to her... but that was a whole other life ago.
Come to think of it, he could use a shave of the head, too...
Setting aside the third letter he'd written, Rick leaned forward in his seat, restlessly sighing as he rubbed the top of his bald head, shaking his head slightly. The bottom letter said 'Judith' on its front, the second said 'Michonne', and the third said 'Daryl'. He felt sick writing them, at least a little bit, now. Carl had written letters before he'd died, and it felt almost like he was mucking up his memory by doing something similar without imminent death hanging over him. That was when Rick pursed his lips, grabbed a fourth slip of paper, and put his pencil to it.
'Dear Carl,' he began, then paused, his gut clenching, before continuing.
"Thank you." Rick nodded to the nurse as she turned and walked away, leaving a fresh pair of clothes on Rick's bed. The clothes he'd came into this world wearing. They were better than these hospital scrubs. As soon as the door to his room shut, he grabbed his tan button-up shirt, lifting it up to look at the hole that went through it. Red stained it a bit. A reminder of how close to death he'd come. Shrugging off the scrubs, he started to slip back into his clothes.
Hearing a knock at the door, Rick turned his head from the mirror, stopping the toothbrush mid-stroke, before continuing with his brushing as he walked out of the bathroom to the front door, grabbing it with his free hand and pulling it open.
"Oh." Rick said through a mouthful of toothpaste. "Hey."
Sgt. Johnson, Carolina, Church
Medina - Saudi Arabia
"This plan has gotta be one of the riskiest plans I've ever heard of. And trust me when I say I've heard quite a few of them. And been in quite a few of them."
Church went on about how the plan Johnson had devised wasnt going to work, though both the Sergeant and Carolina weren't particularly interested in hearing it. "Church, if you don't think we'll succeed, you can just stay here and watch us fail."
"What? No." Church let out a chuckle as his small holographic form appeared in the air before Carolina's visor. "I'm totally in. The riskier the better. Besides, what have we got to lose?"
"Our lives, maybe?" Carolina asked in a sarcastic tone. "Maybe you. I haven't got one of those anymore, in case you didn't remember." The AI disappeared just as a city mostly shrouded in a pale green, misty fog appeared, growing closer.
"There it is." Johnson growled. "Medina. Should still have some UNSC ships for us in the shipyard. If we could get one of those-"
"We could be off this rock and find some help." Carolina finished for him. "You think we can manage? Between you, me, and the annoying voice in the room, we don't exactly have an army behind us."
"We're marines." Johnson replied, grinning. "Each one of us is our own army. Big, mean and green. Flood won't know what hit 'em."
The Pelican soared over a dense forest as a multitude of over a dozen other Pelicans followed close behind, each loaded to the brim with Marines and ODST's, each with some type of UNSC vehicle magnetically held to it, namely Warthogs, each with their own variety of weaponry mounted on the back, like rail guns, gauss cannons and missile pods.
"This is Red 1. We're going in hot. Requesting permission to commence Operation Lord, over." A voice crackled in over the radio of Johnson's Pelican cockpit. "This is Green 1, permission granted. Platoon, commence Operation Lord, over." He ordered. Carolina gave a nod before turning around and exiting the cockpit.
The back of the Pelican was loaded with Marines, all fidgeting nervously with their weapons. "Get locked and loaded, soldiers." She ordered. "Things are about to get a lot more exciting."
As the city of Medina neared, the fourteen Pelicans split into three groups. Red, Blue, and Green, with Johnson leading Green. Red and Blue consisted of five Picans, while Green only had four, though having a Spartan with them made up for the lack of a fifth Pelican.
The goal was simple enough. Red would enter through the south end of the city and strike hard, with Blue doing the same but at the north end, while Green would strike the heart of the city, where the shipyard was located. Hopefully, this would be enough to thin out the Flood and keep them from getting overwhelmed before the Flood could organize themselves into an effective counter.
Green Squad continued to move straight ahead as Red and Blue veered off. The four Pelicans soared over the outskirts of Medina before bursting through the cloud of green, entering the city.
Operation Lord was now in effect.
Cpl Fisk, Pfc Javier, Pvt Blakes
Ruins of Quezon - Planet Reach
The once beautiful and heavily populated city of Quezon on Reach now sat in ruins, its surface glassed, buildings crumbled, echoes and shadows of its residents still remained as blackened corpses, melted into the ground, glassed beyond recognition.
However, it was not devoid of life. This much was obvious as the sounds of distant gunfire and yelling could be heard, quickly drowned out by a loud mechanical clang that cracked through the air.
High above the city were several starships, the majority of them being UNSC. A portion of the UNSC ships seemed to be siding with the Covenant vessels, all opening fire on the remaining UNSC ships, though something was clearly wrong with them. A faint fog clung to the hull of these ships, and they appeared tarnished, old, and deteriorated.
The Flood was on Reach.
Not just above it, but on its surface as well.
Fisk leaped over a pile of rubble, ducking down as several plasma blasts whizzed over his head, sizzling through the air as they went, faintly illuminating the ground with their neon blue color.
"We're pinned down! Requesting immediate evacuation! Our coordinates are-"
"Shut up, will ya?" Fisk snapped at Pvt. Blakes, who'd been attempting to call in an evacuation. Fisk then gestured hastily to the sky with his thumb. "As you can see, they're in just as much trouble as us."
"They're still coming!" The conversation was interrupted by Pfc Javier, who rushed over to the group, moving backwards as he fired his semi-automatic Assault Rifle, teeth grit hard as he focused on the enemy. "We did not make it here all the way from Earth just to die here." Fisk muttered, standing up and leveling his own Assault Rifle at the incoming Flood forms, leaping toward them, covering far more distance than the Marines could run.
The three Marines proceeded to open fire, cutting down several combat forms headed their way, but the Flood were too abundant and too fast. Most of the ammo spent had been a waste of just trying to hit the leaping forms.
That was when the Infection forms appeared, joining the fray. The three had seen what those things could do in action, and none of them were particularly keen to see that happen again- let alone let it happen to one of them.
"Poppers! Take 'em out!" Javier shouted, slapping a fresh magazine into his Assault Rifle, and pulling his trigger.
The Flood were quickly overtaking them, however, and as Blakes was the first to notice, several forms were beginning to attempt to flank them. "Shit! On our 6!" He yelled, firing at them, downing two before his weapon gave a few feeble clicks as it attempted to fire out bullets no longer there. "Damnit, I'm out!" He announced, feverishly throwing the weapon down and trying to pull out his Magnum from his waist just as a combat form landed in front of him, swinging its boney whip with purpose.
It slammed into Blakes, and the sound of shattering bones followed as the attack destroyed his rib cage, completely collapsing it as well as his lungs, sending him flying into a concrete beam sticking out of a pile of rubble. The beam held tight as another sickening crunch was heard. Blakes' back had snapped on impact.
His lifeless, mangled, bloody body fell to the glassy ground in a heap. He was dead.
"Shit!" Fisk yelled, whirling about and opening fire on the combat form that had killed his companion. His bullets tore it apart, and it collapsed just as the Infection forms reached them.
Fisk knew it was over before it had ended. They'd had a good run... but this was it. He and Javier were surrounded, depleted of ammo, and heavily exhausted.
An infection form leaped past Javier's spray of bullets, its legs reaching out and grasping him before he could react. He threw his rifle down with a scream, trying to grab the infection form but to no avail as it quickly sunk itself into his chest cavity, tearing through his armor and embedding itself into him.
Javier dropped to the ground, writhing as what looked like blisters and boils began to appear along his exposed skin. His eyes bulged in horror and in pain as he screamed.
Fisk shot down another combat form, his arms shaking in fear as he struggled to keep it under control and continue fighting. He wasn't going to go out a coward. He'd always imagined he'd go out fighting.
This was it.
However, just as a combat form landed behind him, Fisk unaware of it, several figures appeared over the horizon, their armor glinting off the setting sun. Just as quickly as they appeared, combat forms started to drop like flies, infection forms popping all about. Fisk stared in disbelief as in just mere seconds, the enemy that surrounded him had all been dropped. His saviors had impossibly accurate aim, and clearly more ammo.
He glanced down at his feet. A combat form lay there, immobile. Pursing his lips, he bent down, grabbing a pair of dog tags from around its neck and yanking them off.
'Javier, Jason F'
Following the name was his ID number, his rank, then his religion. Catholic. Fisk had never known that. He tucked the dog tags into his pocket. He'd have to grab Blakes', then see who his saviors were, as he saw them approaching through the glassed rubble, though he already knew what they were.
It was unmistakable. Nothing could have saved him and defeated that horde of Flood so effectively.
They were Spartans.
(Due to the time disparities, I will be separating Camelot into [Afternoon] and [Evening] segments until they once again return to the same temporal spectrum.)
Camelot Castle, Dining Hall [Afternoon]
"What I did to Serena?! I don't know who you think I am, lady, but I'm not about to knock out an entire room of people for no reason! And in case you missed the memo, I almost joined your friend in getting hit by whatever sent them all into La-La-Land!" JoJo said, pointing a finger at Artemis in response to her unfounded accusation. Damn it, this isn't good! She's SERIOUS! Whatever messed-up thought process she has is pinning ME for this! What even was that?! I need to get to the bottom of this, quick-
Suddenly, Artemis was launched through the wall. "What the-?!"
"We hunger... We believe you will make a delicious meal."
As the strange black goop leaped at Joseph, the Joestar was turned away towards the wall that Artemis had just been flung through. When he heard the voice, however, he froze...
And moments later, a wave of purple vines sprung out from him, sending the Symbiote flying back.
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!
Joseph thought, utterly bewildered. This is all CRAZY! I need a second to figure this out, SAFELY!
"Guess I'm using your old technique after all, Grandpa!" Joseph said, looking at the ground beneath his feet. He suddenly slammed his fist into it, his hand crackling with yellow energy. "SUNLIGHT YELLOW OVERDRIVE!" A wave of yellow electricity blasted through the room, sending the Symbiote further back as the raw sunlight energy ripped through it. The energy surged through the three unconscious ones as well, coursing through Sir Percival's armor and shocking her. The energy had a second effect, though. JoJo was suddenly flung into the air, the ground beneath him exploding into rubble. Joestar threw out his right hand, grabbing hold of the chandelier above him and holding himself up.
But the vines were still wrapped tightly around his body. What... What ARE these?!
Camelot Castle Town, Blacksmith's Shop [Afternoon - Evening]
"Y-Yang, Ms. Goodwitch isn't even here..." Ruby said, returning the folded Crescent Rose to her back.
Stark sighed. "Whatever that was, it knocked us all out..."
"So, uh... What's that for?" Miles asked.
Tony began to sketch on another sheet. A short bit later, he showed it to the Blacksmith. "Does this give you any indication?"
"...whoa...!"
Two Hours Later...
Now that it was starting to get dark in Camelot, Ruby had fallen asleep. Due to her insistence on waiting for Stark, she was currently resting against her sister's shoulder just outside the laboratory. Shantae, meanwhile, was sitting with folded legs. "...I wish the others were here."
Inside the forge, the hammer of Stark's armor clanked against solid metal, finally beating the shape he wanted out of the cut. "Phew... Chestplate's done." he said, turning to Miles and Spiral. He grabbed the chestplate with a pair of wooden rods - far too heavy for just tongs - before placing it into the water basin to cool it.
Camelot, Shrouded Forest, Mountainside [Evening]
Lora blinked at both parties. "King Arthur? The tale sounds interesting, but... Sonic? Who's that?"
Falcon scowled at the sound of the name.
"Stay still, you blue rodent!"
"What's the matter, can't keep up, Falcon? Hahah!"
"Another participant from the Super Smash Bros. tournaments. The third champion. Got lucky."
"He's still salty he lost to him in the semifinals." Robin explained. "Sonic's a speedster, and some sort of anthropomorphic hedgehog. Though why he'd be in the same world as a King, I can't imagine..."
"Yeah, I thought he came from a modern world." Falcon said. "What with Eggman and robots and miniature moons and stuff."
"He did mention having used a sword before..." Lucina sighed. "Maybe...?"
"This Sonic... you called him a hedgehog, yes?" Jin said, walking over to where the wind had blown past.
"Yeah, a blue one." Falcon replied. "Why?"
"I think Samus' theory is correct." Jin said, holding up a blue quill from the ground.
Camelot, Atlantic Ocean [Evening]
Sonic grunted, Caliburn clashing with the lightsaber again. "What the heck is that sword...? It's closer to Excalibur than any normal sword!"
"My liege, you're hurt!" Caliburn said.
"Yeah, I noticed!" Sonic swung back, pushing Vader away. He needed some breathing room. Seeing the shore nearby, Sonic quickly ran to it, taking a deep breath. "Geez... What's with this guy? It's like he can predict my moves... Like he's got some sort of precognition."
"Perhaps he does." Caliburn suggested. "It's physically impossible to defend against you through reaction time alone."
"...great, so he's like Silver. Er, Galahad." Sonic raised Caliburn again to fight. The waves stirred in the distance as Vader approached. He knew if Vader got any closer, it'd be a repeat of the last situation.
So instead, the hedgehog flew clear past Vader, landing a smack on his shoulder as he did. "Tag!" The King blasted off into the waters once more.
The Wilds, Star's Wand
*thump*
The Nomad suddenly flopped down behind Star and Dipper. Rising up, he shook his head a bit... before flinching. He wasn't supposed to follow the pair down here, he knew that. The Nomad quickly sprung to his feet, waving his hands-
But then he saw something.
In the large picture, next to the blonde mage, was a red-haired man with a full beard and a large blue and purple wizard's robe.
The Nomad slowly approached the picture, eyes wide. He seemed to have forgotten about the others in the room, merely advancing towards the picture, and placing a palm on it.
No tears fell, but it almost looked like the scarecrow was crying...
The Wilds, The Cliff
"We'll do some hunting on the way." Keda replied, grabbing his spear. "Food should be easy enough to come by... enough for the five of us, though, could be a problem. I'd need to spend a fair bit of time hunting... Alpha and I may need help."
The Wilds, The Village
Tau looked at Líf's outstretched hand. This strange man... What he promised, he could probably deliver. Never needing to worry about losing a new hunter in the middle of the night to a sabretooth tiger again... The offer was tempting. His village would be secure, his people would be fed, his family would be safe...
But at what cost?
Tau slapped Líf's hand away. "We have what we need. I'm not about to sell the souls of our Tribe to you and disgrace the Ancestors."
Arendelle, Elsa's Castle
As the thread wrapped around Alpha's leg, he felt the familiar tug. Soaring up towards the Heartless Knight, he charged up his fist. "VULCAN FIST!" he shouted, streaking his fist across the Heartless General before reaching Hornet's height. The acceleration Hornet gave him meant he was able to streak through the barrage of needles. "Lightning Rod?" He wasn't able to tell what damage the attack had done, if any...
Seeing the incoming Heartless Generals, Hat Kid and Maple nodded to each other. Maple flew up, charging a large orb of highly-pressurized water while Hat Kid positioned herself in the middle of the group. Maple launched off the stream of water with a shout. "FOUNTAIN!" The water smoothly flew off of Hat Kid's umbrella, streaming into the Heartless. The high pressure wiped the front few waves out, knocking some of the others back. This team was highly coordinated, down three members or no.
Far East, City of Mercy
"Oh, hell! Soldier, get out of there!" Engie said, clearly aware at how little (aka nothing) Soldier was currently doing to the monster. He took a pistol out from his side, shooting at the monster. The bullets...
The bullets did nothing.
"...what the hell are you, son?" Dell asked, his jaw practically dropping.
The Ogretail, meanwhile, shook hard enough to fling Soldier clean off it. It began to advance on him before a baseball whacked it in the side of the head, focusing its attention on Scout. "Boom! How d'you like that, sucker?!" Scout said.
Then the monster ran for him.
"I REGRET EVERYTHING! I REGRET EVERYTHING I'VE EVER DONE!"
Far East, Fenrir Base
"Hey." Lenka Utsugi replied. "I came to check up on you. Wanted to see how you were doing after all that."
"So why are we here?" A feminine voice Rick could faintly recall came from the hallway just outside. A silver-haired woman in red and white clothes stood just outside, with Kota beside her.
"You haven't met him yet, Alisa. No time like the present."
"C'mon, Alisa! Rick's nice!" Kota replied.
Alisa scoffed a bit. "...he's no Lindow."
Central Yharnam
"...fuck." Trevor said under his breath. "I'm not a fan of dealing with mobs. Sypha?"
"I can handle it." Raising two fingers to her face, a red light emitted from her fingers. Suddenly, the party was surrounded by a circle of orange flames. "The circle will move with me. We're safe from them, should they choose to attack us."
That's when Trevor heard the flapping sound after Akame pointed it out, reaching a hand to the handle of the Morningstar whip. "I hear incoming. It sounds like those flying monsters from Dracula's attack."
"What?" Sypha was surprised.
Sequin Land, Mermaid Falls - VS GIGA MERMAID
Stronger than a human didn't compare to the magic hair whip of a half genie. It dealt enough damage to make Giga Mermaid flinch, but now Vriska found herself face-to-face with a massive orb of psionic energy.
"GET ME UP THERE!" Rottytops shouted. "I KNOW HOW TO TAKE HER DOWN!" She shook her right leg, attempting to pop the bottom half off.
Specter's Ship, Krak's Laboratory
"..." Cut Man took in John-117's words. "...yeah, you're right." He let out a robotic sigh. "Alright then." He turned to Hope. "Let's get me fixed up-"
That's when he heard shouting. "Uh... Something's happening out with the others."
"Getting you fixed up is the priority." Hope said, looking over the parts. "God, this is gonna be difficult... Chief, can you go make sure we're not disturbed? I need as much time as I can get here. And if my father wakes up, get him in here too!"
Goldenwalk, Business District
Scorpio scowled heavily, looking around at the gathered crowd.
Nathan McAllen. North American Coalition colonel, personal handler of the combat androids X and Y, boyfriend of the guardian of the multiverse and a major player in both of the two recent multiversal crises.
Combat Android X. Soon enough, capable of going toe-to-toe with Z himself.
Gwen Stacy, or Spider-Woman depending on who you asked. She doesn't know it yet, but soon enough she'll be caught in the web of fate for a different multiversal crises, this one relating to other Spider-People. Or perhaps not, due to the altered timeline.
Celice, or Silver Scythe. An isolated person, coming from this universe. A wild card he hadn't planned for, but of little importance to his plans. ...for now.
Gordon Freeman. Agent of the G-Man. His presence alone boded poorly.
"This has been... well, entertaining would be the wrong choice of words." Scorpio replied. "Two unexpected entries into the battle complicate matters, and much as I loathe to admit it... I am ill prepared."
"When we next meet, the same will NOT be true."
Scorpio's tail smashed into the ground, sending out a large cloud of smoke as he sprung into the air. X scanned around as Nathan quickly pulled on a smoke mask, tracking Scorpio. The android flew up to where he thought the man had went, only to find a small crab robot replicating Scorpio's heat signature.
X smashed it into the side of the skyscraper.
"Everyone alright?" Nathan asked, primarily looking towards the two girls.
Goldenwalk, Elsewhere
Elidocorc was bored. Little had happened, and he had yet to find this supposed resistance, much less a fat Italian.
"Elidocorc."
The soldiers all turned around with a shock, Elidocorc being the last to swivel around. There stood Scorpio, standing on the side of a building as always. "Scorpio. Why do you always do that?"
"I like it." was the simple response of the general. "I assume you haven't encountered the Resistance yet?"
"And how can you tell?" Elidocorc asked.
"You still have all your men."
Elidocorc scoffed. "You imply we would LOSE."
"I imply the enemy has stronger soldiers than you." Scorpio replied. His tail activated a projector, turning the sidewalk into a screen. It showed recorded footage from one of the built-in cameras in a different squad. "I remotely hacked into Squad C2's cameras to check the footage." In the video, it showed a large, blonde man with a massive hammer wrecking house. "That right there is Thor. God of Thunder."
"He looks different. Elidocorc scoffed. "But you remember what Lord Zeliyis did to the Norse BEFORE attaining his true power."
"You're not Lord Zeliyis, Elidocorc." Scorpio replied. "Don't get me wrong, I'd enjoy nothing more than allowing you to snap the boastful God's neck. But so long as he has that axe, he's too dangerous for you alone."
"Then what do you suggest we do?"
Scorpio shifted the shown video as a response, showing a device being built by his special request back at the base camp.
"Remove it from the equation."
Rex arched a brow at the caveman, crossing his arms. Hunt? What do I look like, a whole African tribe? Please, this guy is too much.
“Listen, buddy.” Rex shrugged. “Your a hunter, that’s like the only thing you do. You would think that you would be more used to doing caveman things since ya know...you LIVE here.”
Oh boy, why did I get stuck with the only caveman that can’t hunt right? Sheesh, got stuck with the defective one, just my luck.
Name: The Contessa, C.
Location: Mermaid Falls.
C struggled, finding it difficult to even do damage to the big, busty mermaid. He wiped his brow, reloading his gun. Nothing I do seems to put a dent in her hide...! If only I had something heavier to-
“Wench won’t slay herself, C.” The Contessa Interrupted his thoughts. “Get to it.”
“Y-Yes madam!”
C was about to unload another spray of his weapon on the fantasy monster...until he heard someone yelling.
"GET ME UP THERE!" Rottytops shouted. "I KNOW HOW TO TAKE HER DOWN!"
He looked down at rottytops...or rather her screaming body. He put a hand over his mouth as he saw the zombie’s parts scattered. He looked around before kneeling to her.
“Um...how do you want me to do that, comrade?”
Contessa then glanced over to the mermaid army that had begun to rush their position, a few of her guards being trampled in the swarm. The Contessa gave a sigh, transforming into a glare. These pests are getting tiresome. Begone!
Contessa’s eyes grew wide as they began flashing different colors in a rapid succession. Her mind controlling techniques were second only to Clockwerk’s in her world, this would prove not an easy task for even the strongest of minds to endure
~~~~~Star's Wand~~~~~

Twilight listened to Glossaryck as he seemed to explain the rules of how this wand-world worked, though even as she listened to the conversation Twilight had noticed that two of their party had been gone longer on that "bathroom break", a lot longer. Whether he had noticed or not Twilight decided she needed to investigate.

"T-thank you, if I have any more questions I will be sure to ask of you. If that is okay?" Twilight said with a bow, before she trotted off. First, she trotted over to the Top Hat Spider and told him to put her meal on hold, as she needed to go for a walk. Yeah Twilight had been no Rainbow Dash when it came to fibs but she spoke with enough conviction to make it passable. Or at least she hoped, either way she would trot down the hall to where she saw Dipper & Star walk towards, and as she walked she saw what seemed to be an open door at the end by the very room that Glossaryck had told the group not to go though earlier. A door that Nomad, another of the group, went through. This was to be expected to some degree, though Twilight still had a sigh as she figured she needed to get them out before they got caught as she trotted over and entered the room, finding no one inside not even Nomad but she did discover a trap door.

"Well, here goes nothing." Twilight though to herself before she flew down the trap door, finding a slide that seemed to lead underground as the Alicorn flew down and sure enough found Nomad, Dipper and Star as she landed and trotted over to them.

"Guys, what are you doing? Didn't you hear Glossaryck? We are gonna get in trouble? We should get out of here and...." Twilight had began to say, before she saw just what the pair had been looking at; a curious mural that seemed to paint this picture of a battle, with some odd dark spot in the background that seemed to scream evil. More curiously, within the sky of the side of the "famed" heroes based on the description of the mural were two figures that Twilight had known all too well.

"P-p-princess Clelestia! A-and Princess Luna! T-they fought in this? Why have I never heard of this in any of the Equestria history texts?" Twilight though to herself, and decided to investigate as she moved closer to Star and Dipper.

"What is this?" Twilight asked the pair, as they should have known more than she did and Nomad seemed stunned much like herself. Not to mention she needed some clarification on just what she was seeing.

Star's Wand

Several of those that had entered the wand had taken off. Danny eventually followed suit, going ghost to make it a little easier. He soon found them in front of a mural. Among various faces was an all too familiar dragon form. "I don't suppose someone could explain this?"

"W-wait, you don't actually mean Dracula, do yo--"
"They're right. Heads up."
Midoriya didn't even have time to answer Jay's question as his attention was turned to the sky as well.
He was about to throw Dex back his sword when the teen responded, "Keep it; you're gonna need it."
Dex focused, the lightning-shaped ornaments on his gauntlets lighting up, forming large dual claws out of electricity. He turned to the rest of the group. "Midoriya, got a plan?"
"Get to the sewers," he exclaimed, his body lighting up with Full Cowling. "Whatever this thing is, it can't fly down there. We need to move."

Spiral, The Blacksmith
The Blacksmith's Shop

"Good," Miles simply responded, goggles on. Sparks flew as he pounded away at a piece of metal, pausing every few moments to inspect the thickness and shape. Finally, he heated it one last time to glowing, forcing it into a bucket of oil.
"I just finished the last gauntlet piece. Spiral, how are the armor pieces coming along?"
The hedgehog, a naturally upbeat person who was one of the only people in the kingdom to survive the wave of sleep, was grinding the oil residue off of the armor pieces with a grindstone, fully awake.
"Finished up with the boots," he replied, setting the two, now very shiny, pieces on the table. "I'm starting on the mask and the helmet now."

Sir Lancelot
Camelot Castle

Five minutes.
Five. God. Damn. Minutes.
That's how long it took to get that cursed helmet off.
The greatest warrior of the Knights of the Round Table, defeated by a small helmet? Ugh, how humiliating.
After finally having the mask off, Lancelot's attention turned to the pieces closing around his quills. One by one, he had the entire helmet off.
Now what?
He looked around. That man...
Without hesitation, he snatched Arondight and looked around.
Footprints emblazoned the path to the throne room, leading into the kingdom.
"So the King has made a move," he thought.
Lancelot turned, about to leave; then it hit him.
A massive wave of calming energy, attempting to force him into sleep.
"What in--"
The Knight of the Lake forced himself to stay up.
He walked into the throne room, sword ready. His eyes fell upon Merlina.
"T-tell me you felt it too..."

Black Asta
Camelot; VS. Ogre

"BLACK HURRICANE!!!"
After minutes of continuous slashes, Asta finally relented. He hit the grassed floor, creating indents and cracks in the Earth's crust from sheer impact. Unfortunately, the attack drained him of stamina. His eye returned to normal, his canine tooth shrunk, and the black Anti-Magic around his body dissipated. The Demon Slayer Sword returned to its dirtied, rusted form, the void black color vanishing.
"H-HOW DID YOU LIKE THAT YOU OVERGROWN--"
The Magic Knight's eyes widened as the monster regenerated its wounds, seemingly fine.
"N-no way..."
It lifted its massive club, swinging at Asta's head.
"Damn it..." he thought, struggling to stand. "I used up my stamina on that attack! I can't..."
Suddenly, Asta's sword went black again.
As if having a mind of its own, it moved, dragging him away from the club. Asta's body flailed in response, hitting the ground about five feet away from the club.
Confused, the Ogre raised its club once more, moving in for another attack.

Shoto Todoroki, Jet
Far East, City of Mercy

"Damn," Jet thought, silently cursing himself as they entered the store. "Now that I think about it, I don't really have to apolo--"
Momentarily, Jet's eye flashed.
He paused, holding his hand up to his eye. "What the--"
Jet looked at Silver. "...You go get Blaze. I'll... catch up."
Walking further out, he fired up his eye, looking around. He didn't see anything...
...but he could feel it...
Giving the two Sonic characters a few moments to talk things out, he turned his head back a little.
"Hey both of you--heads up. We've got company."

----------

Surprised, Todoroki caught the shotgun, light shock in his stoic eyes.
"Did you just throw me a--"
"It's time! I will wrestle the beast into submission with my patriotic hands and shovel, and you will shoot it in the head! Do not pity it, for it is a demon from the depths of hell itself, summoned by a man in bathrobe, surrounded by discount candles! YAAAAAAH!"
"Oh, hell! Soldier, get out of there!"
The one they called Soldier charged the monster approaching them. Engineer fired rounds at it, but they seemed to do nothing. It flung Soldier off of it, right as Scout smacked it clean in the head with a baseball bat.
"Boom! How d'you like that, sucker?!" Scout said, as the monster ran for him.
"I REGRET EVERYTHING! I REGRET EVERYTHING I'VE EVER DONE!"
"...Guess it's my turn."
Todoroki ran for Scout, getting in-between him and the monster. He strapped the shotgun to his back, reeling in his left arm.
Shoto then thrust the arm towards the beast's face, letting loose a massive wall of intense flames that engulfed the monster's head, and the rest of its body, for that matter.

Dagda & Nanashi
Camelot

The distance between Nanashi, Dagda, and Camelot was slowly beginning to close. Whatever energy had emitted from the castle just moments before didn’t appear to come twice- at least not right away. Nanashi was looking every which way around them- mostly up, at the sky.

“That’s not a ceiling,” he said to the god. Dagda didn’t reply, but Nanashi continued. “It’s the sky, isn’t it? It looks a lot better than the other hunters predicted… and those? Are they…?”

“Clouds,” Dagda finished the sentence.

“Right… Asahi always said that if you look long enough, they’d start to resemble things,” the teen said. “She told me she wanted to see them someday.”

Dagda didn’t seem too interested in the sky above. These new surroundings didn’t appeal to him as much as Nanashi- in fact, he didn’t even seem to acknowledge it. The change of scenery was a big deal for one of them, at least.

Noah Kaiba
Camelot Training Grounds

The sight of this battle was really starting to put Noah on edge. As the combat began to heat up, he was hoping for the sake of the two that they were keeping his earlier statement in mind. His trial was tomorrow, and if Belowski showed up in a full body cast, that would be anything but good. Part of him wanted to stop the fight until he saw the last of the Mokey Mokey, its attack skyrocketing to a towering 4500 due to Belowski’s spell cards.

The girl with the weird hair had proven she was tough to some extent, but 4500 attack would devastate nearly any base creature in the entire game of Duel Monsters. There was no way she’d be able to defeat it.

With a chuckle, Noah leaned back, watching as the marshmallow-like creature, blade in hand, stormed toward Caulifa.

Kidomaru
Wightbeard’s Ship

“Well, ain’t that splendid!” Wightbeard said, pleased at Kidomaru’s answer. The pirate phantom then let out a sigh. “Hate to do this to you, lad, but I’m afraid we don’t have much time to celebrate. We got a real nasty ink-like on a direct course for us, so think of it as, eh… initiation, yeah?”

Initiation? Kidomaru wasn’t really sure what the ghost was going on about, but he was sure it wouldn’t be too hard. Besides, even if he failed, it wasn’t like this was a permanent gig.

“Don’t worry, me and my crew’ll be workin’ on it too, but I’m countin’ on you being crafty,” Wightbeard continued, before suddenly, he was interrupted by a screech below.

“Ah, here we go,” Wightbeard stated. Kidomaru looked over the side of the ship to see a kraken, swimming directly under them. He suddenly felt lucky the ship was airborne- the kraken wasn’t as big as the one that had launched him halfway across the ocean, but its size was still intimidating.

He looked down still as the ship began to descend, examining the situation. The only thing below them was water and the kraken itself. This wasn’t going to be easy. If he was going to kill this thing… well, it definitely wasn’t gonna be an easy fight.

“The difficulty of this battle is hard to determine,” he said calmly. “I’ll need to get closer.”

Palladium
Far East, City of Mercy

The sound of metal on metal began to echo around Jet and Silver, sounding increasingly closer, yet somehow far away. The creator of these noises didn’t appear to be all too keen on staying hidden, either.

Palladium reached the top of a ledge, elevated a bit above the two, crystal in his hand. The metal man grinned upon seeing them, knowing damn well he’d been detected already. Instead of addressing either of them directly, he looked right at Jet, and… began to sing.

“I'd sacrifice anything come what might,
For the sake of having you near,
In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night,
And repeats, repeats in my ear…”

As he sang, albeit not very loudly, he descended the ledge, coming closer to Jet. His voice was actually pretty good, though obviously differed from the original singer. When he was still a good distance away, a palladium rod appeared out of the ground, and he leaned up against it.

“Heyo, what’d you think, man? That was some good old Frankie Sinatra, you know.”

He flashed a casual grin, as if he were talking to someone he knew, staring at Jet, awaiting an answer.

Maxwell
Far East, City of Mercy

Maxwell stared at the red heart that had appeared before Frisk. He could definitely sense power within that- what had she called it? SOUL? Yes, but he still didn’t know if it would revive his sister. But he was willing to try anything- anything that could work. But the only concern now was whether or not he really could trust her.

He looked down at his feet. He didn’t believe her about one thing- he didn’t think she understood what he’d been through, or what he’d put others through.

“Just don’t do anything you’ll regret,” he told her as he slung his backpack off of his shoulder. With one fluid motion, he unzipped it and began to carefully rummage through. Sure enough, there she was. Even more carefully, he began to lift Lily out of the bag, standing up and setting the stone statue a few feet away.

“Well…” he said to Frisk, “this is her.”
The statue was motionless.

Name: Caulifla, Yang, Azula, Blake & Weiss
Location: Camelot

Caulifla seemed....partially successful with her attack. As she managed to destroy a pair of them so they could no longer to the trio of sonic screeches once more, but one of them managed to avoid it and it appeared Belowski was quick to retaliate after he had made the suggestion she should "chill" out. Either way she had to act and despite bring previously sluggish and sore from the prior attacks Caulifla had just enough to shift to the side as she flew up to just avoid the sword coming down to her as her aim was to get above the attacking marshmellow as she clenched both her fists together and aimed to slam it down on the top of its head.

------
As Yang sat outside, she felt her sister's body gently come to rest on her shoulder as she glanced as she saw Ruby fall asleep. Yang had a smile on her face as she made sure that Ruby would be comfortable; it had been a relief that Ruby was comfortable enough even after all she had been through, so seeing her cute face just snooze away warmed her heart.

But, that didn't change they were in some unknown world. Away from their team, their friends and family....locked into a battle with an unknown yet seemingly all power enemy. And for once, Yang faced something that the young huntress was not used to...doubt. For once, her skills her strength and everything that was part of the confidence that radiated off of her was shaken, as to this point she had been completely inconsequential. Useless. She was nothing but a liability that needed aid or rescue in the labyrinth, she was made a literal damsel by that bastard Z who had taken it one step further and held her sister captive and to make matters worse when she had a chance to try and save her....her blows meant nothing. Did nothing. Yang had rarely felt so weak, so small and it frustrated her to no end because this was a situation more than any other that Yang needed to be strong. If that guy, or anyone else, came for her sister and she couldn't do so much as a damn thing she'd never forgive herself. This was more than a matter of pride, even if her pride had been thoroughly shot.

"I wish the others were here...."

Yang overheard the quiet voice of Shantae, who sat crossed legged as her usual positive energy seemed to be down as she appeared sad. If Yang had to guess based on the comment, she had loved ones she was missing to which was a feeling she could relate to. With her sister snoozing and a desire to find any alternative thought than her own self doubts she looked across at Shantae and decided to strike conversation.

"Yeah, can imagine it is kinda lonely out here. Usually when one visits a Medieval Times they have their friends with them, and some good chicken legs." Yang said, as she tried to lighten the mood initially with a joke even if her tone contained a hint of the same longing that Shantae's had.

Azula and Bowser, gradually, managed to shrug off this drowsy effect as it generally subsided. Though this seemed to have been brushed off by Dagda and his little puppet as the two seemed to moved towards Camelot ahead of them.

Seemed that Dagda, despite insisting that he had been the "leader" of the group, lived up to his word he did not care if they followed him. Which made his insistence earlier that he had been in charge curious, as at the very least if here merely saw them as canon fodder if he actually did desire them to take his orders much like Nanashi did he'd make sure they'd follow him rather than just go "eh whatever" if they decided to leave. Even in chess you had to have some value in your pawns if only to serve as shields.

Azula would keep this to herself, while Bowser had clawed at the tree next to the Koopa King as his intense glare watched Dagda and Nanashi move on ahead.

"First that human....than this, the Koopa King is not one to be ordered around. I will have their heads for this...." Bowser swore with a whisper of malice, which was amusing but really inter-fighting was not what she needed as she watched. Not yet anyway...

"Understand the frustration, but this is just an adjustment we'll have to swallow till better opportunity comes. Besides, I have a suspicion that this new "leader" of ours might not be all he insists he is." Azula whispered back to try to settle Bowser, as the latter had slight confusion over what she meant. But until Azula was confident her little hunch was correct she'd avoid making a preemptive action as she would motion for them to follow her. Whether they liked Dagda or not going there seemed like the most reasonable move given Negan had been away their for way too long and given all the other odd incidents like that drowsiness wave answers were needed.

Asta's battle with the Ogre had taken a dark if not confusing turn. As his body seemed to fail him after an impressive display yet his sword seemed to move him just out of its initial strike as if it had been possessed. Either way Asta needed help now as the Ogre prepared to strike his helpless frame down.

A pair of Blake's clones charge ahead and drew their blades as they both struck against the Ogre's ax. The pair would not be able to hold back the brutish creature off for long, but they needed not to as the real Blake moved behind the Ogre with ninja-swiftness & speed while Weiss charged forward as she aimed to strike with a stab to its exposed chest as the tip of her rapier was charged with some ice Dust as she aimed to blast it on the impact of her stab; which if it worked well would knock it back right to Blake who'd aim to deliver twin slashes to its exposed back.

Name: Dipper, Star, Raven, Erza
Location: The Wilds, Star's Wand

Dipper & Star had been snapped out of their daze scanning the picture as others in their group arrived in the room. Danny Phantom, Twilight Sparkle and Nomad as they all gazed upon the same mural and naturally they all had some questions.

Well, Danny & Twilight did. Nomad was understandably silent, who had opted to physically walk over towards the mural and place a hand upon what appeared to be a wizard in it. And his expression almost appeared....sad. Which had caught Star's attention as she kept that in mind before she and Dipper focused on their questions.

"W-well uh, w-we got maybe a bit too curious about this place and..."

"...and snuck in here."

Dipper was cut off as the cloaked Titan descended towards them, as she suspected this from the moment Dipper asked Star to use the "bathroom" and had been quick to warp over here. Raven floated over to the group as she had her usual bored expression even if her neutral tone carried a lecture flair to it.

"I shouldn't have to tell you that all of you sneaking off one after the other is gonna get us you all in trouble. I think we should move out rather than stare at some pic..." Raven started to say, before she saw the same mural everyone else's focus had been glued to as she noticed a few off figures. Actually, almost countless figures there though one in specific had gotten her attention. A figure in a white robe that matched her own purple one, and while she failed to get a view of the face something caused her topic to shift as she turned over to the pair.

"....what is this?" Raven asked as Star let out a sigh as she would try to explain.

"Look, I am....not sure. From what I can guess, this is some tribute room to all the Queens of Mewni. The ones responsible for protecting the world which I am the current heir in. This mural is one of my mother, who is battling Toffee. A Mewni "monster" I guess you can call him who tried to take over. B-but all this is a mystery! I didn't even know my mom fought Toffee, let along all these guys you seem to know and more being there. It is crazy! And there is that freaky black void thingy in the background. What even is that?"

"Pure evil."

Star froze in place as a familiar voice spoke up, she looked around trying to find her instructor only he appeared to not be in the room. That was, till Star turned back to the mural and found Glossaryck's image in the mural as well....only this image came out of the mural as the magical embodiment of Star's instruction manual floated before them. Immediately he scowled down at Star who rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly.

"I-I-I can explain..."

"Don't...just, don't. I blame myself actually I should have known you by now to have expected something like this. So this is on me." Glossaryck said and given that they had been busted anyway Star had some questions.

"Okay well maybe you can explain something then. Mom nor you ever mentioned fighting Toffee, not only that but there's all this? Why wasn't I told?" Star asked as she felt a bit in the dark from the being who was supposed to guide her. Dipper himself figured they could at least get some answers and followed suit.

"So, what is with that mural? According to Star it seems different than the others. Why are people from other worlds there? What is that thing you called pure evil? What happened there?" Dipper asked, as Glossaryck seemed a bit reluctant to talk about it. But, given what has transpired lately combined with them having already seen the mural he figured the cat may as well be let out of the bag.

"Well, for one thing the Mewni heir isn't supposed to see this room until they ascend to the throne. So congrats you are only the first Mewni princess to break tradition, but beyond that yes your mother battled Toffee. Defended the throne when he tried to take Mewni the first time, but beyond certain measures she needed to take to deal with the immortal it was complicated by this dark backer. A being not of Mewni or the Earth you are familiar with; a being whose darkness tried to spread across countless realities. Not much is know about what it was at the time, all that is know is that it needed Toffee's aid to escape whatever binds it which is why it provided its power & forces available to Toffeee for his conquest with the aid to this goal. To combat this larger threat, Moon not only needed to learn the one spell that could defeat Toffee but also had to pull allies from wide and far. And I am sure you can guess where that goes." Glossaryck explained as Star's eyes widened in realization.

"My....my mom traveled to other universes?" Star asked as Glossaryck gave a nod.

"In truth we didn't even know that was a thing. Not before this rather panicked human appeared at our door with an odd book as he seemed flung from his own reality into others. Nosy individual." Glossaryck added as Dipper's eyes widened as that had to be Ford. Which probably explained why he road with Moon into battle....well that and letting the magical princess lead was probably the wiser move.

"Allies were collected and a great battle was held. Fortunately, Toffee was defeated and forced back by your mother and those allies helped stop the dark being's plans. For now...." Glossaryck said which had caught Raven's attention.

"For now?" Raven asked as Glossaryck gave another sigh before he addressed the group.

"Indeed, given these recent events I fear that he may try to rise again. If he has not already, and if that happens then I fear that everyone everywhere is at risk..." Glossaryck said which caused the room to chill as the grim warning had been given. Seemed this curious world jumping had been much more serious than any of them could expect, and with that Dipper had but one question left on her mind.

"W-who....what, is this....evil?" Dipper asked as Glossaryck was silent for the longest time, as he had been sworn to not mention this as all of Mewni had been. But, if this threat was to be dealt with they needed to know all he did and with one last sigh he looked the young boy in the eye and replied with simply one word.

"Zeliys."

"And I am a mage, but that does not mean my talents end with mage work alone. I happen to have some experience with hunting, so I can offer some assistance if need be." Erza offered to Keda as she gathered her belongings and seemed ready to go as she scanned the group.

"Whatever we do, we should set out quickly. The day is young and hopefully we can reach civilization before nightfall." Erza said to everyone present as she was ready to go.

Name: Akame, Bakugo
Location: Yharnam

"Fucking shit! What is it!? Where is it!? Maybe you can provide my info beyond "it's here" or "it's in the air" or some Dracula reference." Bakugo cursed with the loudest whisper humanly possible had been quick to join Trevor in rather less than clean language as he scanned the area with aggressive paranoia as his palms sparked prepared to lash out at a moment's notice.

"We need a plan, not just an excuse to spit out at everything." Akame whispered with a deapan as Bakugo had a scowl before a circle was sprayed around them as Sypha explained this would help protect them from mobs. To which Bakugo asked the natural question.

"How the hell does a circle stop anything!?" Bakugo whispered aggressively, though as his question remained in the air and Akame sensed a few more presences around them they overheard Midoriya's plan that Bakugo scoffed at but with a "gentle" nudge by Akame they began to move to the sewer all the same.

Name: Toph
Location: Goldenwalk

Toph walked with Logan and company, helping to drag along Y's limp body as it saved the others the stress to carry her before she overheard Logan's request to scout the area as she gave a nod. She would focus her bare feet on the war-torn ground and began to scan the area trying to find any vibrations, any signs of life outside of their core group.

What Toph sensed was what seemed to be a group of four that had been trapped under a building to their left. "Got four people, seem stuck by that building over there." Toph said as she pointed to the house in question to bring it to their attention. Though what was to be done to get them out remained to be seen; Toph could deal with the rubble but they needed to get the people inside rather than risk them being shifted along with the rubble.

Name: Fumi, Katsu, Lilac
Location: Arendelle (Elsa's Castle)

The punch rocked the Heartless Knight as he had been sent flying back across the castle but he managed to drag its feet and come to a stop as its neck had been contorted from the blow. Almost as if its neck was broken, yet with a simple twist it snapped back into place as it hissed back before a dark aura rose around it.

Woosh!

In a flash, The Heartless Knight dashed at high speeds using the aura as a bust as it gasped Alpha by the throat and applied pressure as it brought him down to the roof level and seemed to try to crush his throat. However....

"Blizzard!"
Slash!

A series of icicles fired from behind as Katsu tried to strike the Heartless Knight's back but the dark "Keyblade Wielder" used a barrier spell to shield itself but once it passed Fumi got between them and aimed to cut its hand off which forced it to release Alpha as he moved back as it now stood between both Fumi & Katsu as the two Keyblade Wielders nodded as they raised their weapons and charged.

Slash!
Woosh!
Clang!

The trio of Keyblades clashed with each other as Fumi & Katsu worked in tandem against the dark entity whose inhuman reflexes allowed it to keep pace despite dueling two enemies at once. The exchange seemed dead even as light shockwaves formed behind each hard blow from the three blades and sparks flew.

The Heartless Knight knocked Katsu back with a hard swing, and tried to cut off Fumi's head but she managed to duck down. Which left her open as the Heartless Knight swung its dark keyblade down on her.

Clang!!!
Only for Katsu to block its strike before it brought the blade down, Heartless Knight hissed but before it had a chance to move the blade to strike it felt this odd heart on its abdomen...

"Fire!" Fumi yelled out as she shot a fireball from her crouched position as the force of the spell blasted the Heartless Knight back as it hissed in anger and pain, but managed to somehow land on its feet; darkness gathered around its Keyblade. Fumi and Katsu responded in kind as the former gathered up wind around her blade while the latter gathered electricity as they placed their Keyblades together.

"Nightmare Slash!" The Heartless Knight called out with a chill, as it delivered a slash as a dark pulse followed it to the pair who responded in unison.

"WIND!"
"THUNDER!"

A sphere of thunder and wind magic mixed into one was launched from both Keyblade Wielders as it charged ahead; picking up speed and size as it clashed with the dark slash and both attacks pushed against each other for dominance....before the dark spell was overpowered as the elemental sphere charged through and towards the Heartless Knight who but only had time to raise its Keyblade in a guard as it slammed into it and a large explosion created a dust cloud.

When it cleared, the Heartless Knight had been forced on its back as the combo spell had dealt damage, but somehow it managed to get right back up as its yellow eyes shinned in anger while Fumi & Katsu prepared themselves.

-----
And the coordination extended to Lilac as well, as she actually rode on the water produced by the fountain and used it as a surfing surface as she moved to Heartless that had not been washed out their immediate area and dashed to destroy them as well.

Along with the progress that Max & Kristoff made on the back of Sven with their moose army, and the bombs rained down by two of Donald's nephews they began to push the Heartless back. They were gaining confidence, they began to believe they could win the day and keep Maleficent's forces away from Elsa.

However, the Heartless horde were not done as many began to conjoin and combine together as they formed a new entity. This time, a Heartless Dragon of all things that hissed at everyone present as it hissed and took the air air as it aimed to fly down and fired a stream of dark magic to the group to begin its attack.

-----

Meanwhile, Elsa continued her duel with the Chernabog as she tried to knock back the dreaded King of Night with a blizzard as it was knocked back, but the nightmare demon refused to stand down and sure enough it managed to lung out and grasp Elsa around its hand.

"Gah!" Elsa cried out in pain as she stuggled against its grip, and Anna noticed her sister clutched from the window as something needed to be done now. She had a barrel left to use, but a normal bomb would be no good against this monster.

Then she saw what seemed to be a flash-bang as her mind raced. And quickly with the leftover nephew of Donald they worked to get the barrel and other needed items up to the stairs as their goal was to get to the roof.

~~~~~Star's Wand~~~~~
Twilight was taken aback as Glossaryck interrupted her questions among others to Star as the instructor to the Mewni princess made her presence known as she already felt nerves as she presumed they'd be scolded. But amazingly that never came as instead Glossaryck provided a full explanation of just what this mural was about. Seemed there was this big battle where Star's mom somehow got in contact with Equestria among other worlds to pull the Princesses and others to help fight this "Toffee" who seemed to be back by some menacing figure named Zeliys. A figure who may be responsible for these crystals and others being transported to differed worlds, if Glossaryck was to be believed.
"H-how do we stop him? I mean there has to be a way right? He might be strong but if he lost once before then we can beat him again. Just tell us what we can do to prevent him from doing harm to our worlds and beyond?" Twilight asked Glossaryck, as despite the warning about his power she knew she could not just sit back and wait for it to come. She, they if not somebody needed to do something to save their worlds and Twilight was prepared to do whatever it took to succeed.
Caulifla swept it to deliver a fearsome blow to the final mokey Mokey, but it seemed resigned to its fate. It flipped around to face her, giving her the most prepared for death look a marshmallow could muster. Soon enough, the plasma sword that it matched onto began to siphon it’s energy directly into the Mokey Mokey! The handle of what once had been a shining blue energy sword clanked onto the ground, the energy sword’s power now radiating inside the little angle. Then caulifla connected her blow...
“MOKEY!!!!!”
*BOOOOM!!!*
A wave of plasmatic energy rocked the side of the castle, the rest of the wall near caulifla shattering into thousands of pebbles. It seemed caulifla had just found herself in the epicenter of a suicide bomb. Belowski, who had still been sitting at his spot, still seemed as nonchalant as ever, completely unphased as to what had just happened. The dust would soon settle and determine her condition.
Yharnam
Alicia nodded. As did Variant Fox. Happy moved to Jay's shoulders. He didn't want a repeat of the events that lead up to the skull destroying blow dealt by Alicia.
????
Ali, Volpa, Okimi and Gao looked around in confusion. "I'm no expert," Okimi said. "but something tells me this isn't Yharnam." Catgirl pulled out a small device. She looked at the screen. The text on it read : Saudi Arabia, Haloverse
Somehow, someone or something had redirected them to a different location.
Artemis, Vegan
Camelot Castle - Dining Hall
A wooden table sunk, before snapping in half as Venom collided with it, snarling, and flipping himself about to dig his claws into the stone floor, stopping himself, snarling at Joseph. The symbiote then stood to his full height, long tongue lashing out of his toothy mouth, staring at the Joestar for a moment. "We shall feast on you and your ugly girlfriend." He lunged once again, leaping with incredible speed, arm forming into some sort of a whip, about to swipe it at Joseph before a flash of light illuminated the room, and he was sent hurtling back into the other wall, the stone cracking as he collided with it, before falling to the floor, shaking his head.
Artemis stood above the pile of rubble, another arrow notched in her glistening bow, glaring toward the symbiote, eyes flitting to JoJo for a moment. "You going to stand around and dawdle at your flora, Joestar? This thing isn't going to kill itself." She fired a second arrow, another flash of light illuminating the room, launching Venom through the wall this time- and out of the castle. Artemis had been hoping for this, regardless. Less of a chance to trample Serena and the others out there. She glanced toward Serena, before looking at the others, and frowning.
"Where'd the stinky guy go?"
Darth Vader
Atlantic Ocean
The golden sword of legend clashed with the crimson saber of infamy, slamming into each other again and again, all at different angles as each combatant made attempts to one-up the other, but this proved fruitless. They were equally matched in swordplay. Vader's precognition allowed him to even the playing field just enough to cancel out the King's speed factor, allowing each other to truly fight.
However, as the force pushed Vader to move faster, strike harder, fight longer, it seemed Sonic was more keen on surviving than the Sith would have preferred. He made a dash for the shore, spraying up water as he went, leaving Vader to swing through the air with a simple, one-armed slash, before staring across the water at his adversary.
Red was all Vader could see. It was all he could ever see. The red lenses simply acted to enforce and induce rage, and with his feelings toward Obi-Wan still on the forefront of his mind, Darth Vader was determined to separate the hedgehog's head from his shoulders. Permanently. All this king was doing was getting in his way, and he clearly didn't have the stones that brought the Dark Lord here, so his purpose for existing seemed quite irrelevant.
Walking in strides, cape billowing out behind him, Darth Vader moved forward, vaguely wondering if he'd heard the king's sword speaking earlier, but set that thought aside. He had more important-
"Tag!"
Vader was shoved backward, his feet sliding along the surface of the waves from the force of the shove, but he was quick to stop himself, narrowing his eyes behind his mask, his rage still continuing to build. "Your games are meaningless." He stated. "There is only your death. You underestimate the power I wield." As he spoke, he raised his left arm, the space around Vader's free fist seemed to swirl and distort, almost as though a miniature black hole was forming around it. The larger this twist in the universe spun, the more it seemed to affect. The water began to slosh, then part, spraying away from Vader, being pushed by an unseen force, still growing larger.
Darth Vader led out a grunt as he attempted to force it larger, pushing the limits his physical body could take with the force. This damned suit prevented him from reaching his full potential and he knew it. His only support on life was just as much a prison.
Ironic.
"Grah!" Vader yelled, thrusting his arm out, and released the devastating power of the force. This time, it was quite visible, rapidly and violently parting the water it crossed, shoving it aside as though it were trying to reenact the parting of the Red Sea, swirling and distorting the space around it as it went, making the air feel heavy, the world seeming to shake around them. Dark storm clouds began to billow about above them, swirling in sync with the ball of force energy, before it seemed to hit whatever its mark was, and an eruption followed, blasting out with immense power, pushing water away for as far down as at least thirty or so feet, creating a massive, temporary crater in the ocean. Even at that distance, Vader was pushed back, sliding across the surface of the waves backward, using the force to keep himself stable and steady, his cape flapping violently outward behind him, feeling the power of the force explosion keeping up, pushing against him for several seconds, before ceasing.
The attack would have been too slow to defeat the hedgehog, the Sith was aware of that. This was simply a show of power, a reveal to the king of the forces he endangered himself by facing, from Vader's perspective. "You're it." Darth Vader stated roughly, flexing his left hand, feeling drained from the amount of power he'd just pulled. It had better have been worth it.
Rick Grimes
Far East - Fenrir Base
Rick had no idea who Lindow is or was, whatever their status or details may be. Obviously this person was making an attempt at being rude, or maybe she was just naturally like that. Rick had met plenty of people like her, and he doubted she'd be the last. By his better judgement, he decided not to address her attitude, regardless of how she felt about him or the situation.
Rick made no verbal reply at first, gesturing with a nod to Lenka, a gesture to allow entry, before turning around and walking back into the bathroom, leaving the door open, and spit out the toothpaste into the sink, rinsing it, and his toothbrush, then his mouth, before returning to the room that the others had now entered.
His music was still playing, High On You, by Survivor. Rick had always liked that band. He swiftly his the stop button, and the room fell into silence as Rick turned to look at the others. He knew Lenka. Kota, a bit. Alisa's face clearly expressed a desire to leave. Might as well cover formalities, get it over with for her sake. "Hi." He greeted. "Alisa, right? I'm Rick." She already knew that, of course, but still, it was a formality.
"Rick, right? I'm Negan." The words of the imprisoned savior echoed through Rick's mind, and his eyes widened for a split second. He could have sworn he'd just heard Negan behind him, but didn't bother turning. He knew it wasn't real. It simply wasn't. However, what surprised Rick so much was the similarity to Negan he'd had when he'd greeted her just through voice alone. Luckily, he wasn't swinging a barbed wire bat into one of their skulls, so he was obviously no Negan, but little things like that... even as small as it was, it still unsettled Rick. He wanted to share nothing with Negan, have no similarities, and even that was breaking this unspoken rule.
Hoping they hadn't noticed this, Rick crossed his arms, looking toward Lenka. "I've been meaning to ask; when am I continuing this God Arc training? I'm getting stir crazy in here."
Frisk
Far East - City of Mercy
Frisk stared at Lily for a few moments, her SOUL pulsing in front of her, before tilting her head to the side. "Magic." She stated. "That's what's trapped your sister... Luckily for us, Determination has the ability to cancel out magic if strong enough." She moved toward the statue as she grabbed her SOUL, placing it gently between the palms of her hands, which both began to glow a vibrant red. She'd told Maxwell already that she couldn't guarantee this would work, but it would be a start. The girl was sure she could break whatever kind of spell held Maxwell's sister, but something like this would take time. A lot of it. And that also meant it would take a lot of determination, another thing that would take time for Frisk to build.
Her SOUL disappeared, but her hands continued to pulse and glow. This wasn't something she'd tried before, but several uses of human SOULs had been discovered by her and her research through Toriel's books, Sans' books, Alphys' books and Asgore's books, all of which Frisk had pillaged at one point or another for information or simply curiosity. Sans' had been the most useless. Usually just kid books or pasta recipes, or just books about quantum physics that she failed to ever wrap her head around.
Placing her empowered hands on Lily, she released the determination into the statue, transferring it, making his sister begin glowing the same as Frisk squeezed her eyes shut tight. It wasn't exactly painful, but it felt funny. Like having your blood drawn in copious amounts. It was draining, and after several seconds, she pulled away, feeling light-headed, stumbling back as the glow from her hands faded.
Vriska Serket
Sequin Land - Mermaid Falls
Vriska let out a curse as a beam of energy from the strange jewel slammed into her, throwing her away, pushing her back to the earth, slamming into snow and sand, sending it spraying about. As the beam let up, Vriska laid there for a moment, teeth clenched in pain, eyes squeezed shut, fists clenched.
That certainly hadn't been fun. If she could just activate her God Tier, this clown would have already been dead. Mermaid. Whatever, doesn't matter.
Vriska got to her feet, eyes open, teeth and fists still clenched as she felt her chest. "Alright." She muttered, her grimace switching back to a smirk, flashing her fangs as she glared up at the Giga Mermaid. "You wanna play?" She pulled out the pirate sword from Risky's crew out of her captchalogue deck, wielding it.
"I can play."
Master Chief, Doomslayer, Ant-Man, Hank Pym, Luis
Specter's Ship - Pipotron Chamber
Wordlessly, John stood and left the room, returning to the chamber everyone had accumulated in, mostly due to his own efforts in bringing everyone here. He still had no idea where Hiro was or what happened to him, but he didn't need to bother thinking anymore on it. To his genuine surprise, he was greeted by the sight of Hunter and Hiro standing side-by-side, facing down an unfamiliar adversary, one who wielded a similar weapon to Hiro. Clearly from his universe, meaning he'd have similar abilities presumably, meaning the situation was now problematic.
Hold on- make the situation serious. Two more just appeared. Without a weapon of his own, John didn't have much of a ranged advantage, but he was still a highly skilled tactician with advanced close combat training. Holding his own wasn't his concern here, however. It was getting his team out of here.
"G-get to Kale, get her to safety. I can stall these clowns."
Hiro insisted they move on without him. He seemed battered and exhausted. Hunter didn't seem much to keen on following this advice, wanting to help Hiro, but John could see the logic here. They were too weak to deal with these three. The team needed to be built back into shape before dealing with something like this. However, there was the issue that Hiro would more than likely be taken out by them, and as far as John had seen, the kid was their most valuable asset. There were pros and cons to it all, but the Spartan agreed with Hiro.
They needed to leave.
"Hunter, listen to him. We need to move." Chief ordered, immediately moving to the group of currently incapacitated individuals. As he approached, the Ant-Man struggled to his feet, wavering slightly, unbalanced. "Is Hope... Still...?" He seemed to struggle getting out the words, so gestured to the door into Krak's Laboratory. John gave a nod, and Scott gave a pained smile. "Thanks. Also, your games are fun. Well, not the new ones." With that, he made his way toward the room, seeming to not even notice the adversary's in the room. He was still too out of it.
Three remained on the ground. Flynn, the older man, and the latino.
Flynn would be the hardest to move, but the other two, not so much. However, as John moved to pick up the two, he saw Flynn's hand twitch.
The Spartan said nothing as Flynn slowly came to his senses, eyes fluttering open. He grimaced, before slowly sitting up. He glanced at Chief, before looking down at his arm. "How long?" He asked roughly. "Not long." John replied, watching as Flynn raised his arm, grabbing the crooked forearm with his good hand, and with a sickening crack, he snapped his arm back into place.
Gritting his teeth, Flynn let his arm drop to his side. "Got my helmet?" He asked. "Negative." The Spartan stated, lifting Hank and Luis up, both remaining unconscious.
Flynn shook his head, before climbing up to his feet, rotating his shoulders. "Kale?"
"MIA."
"Specter?"
"Still alive."
"What the fuck are we standing around here for then?" Doomslayer asked, his signature weapon materializing in his hands, flakes of what seemed like red-hot ash floating away from it as soon as it appeared. Wherever it had been pulled from, however Flynn did it, they'd just been somewhere very hot. "Evacuating." John stated, turning from Flynn and making his way back to Krak's laboratory.
The Bane of Hell shifted his gaze from his armored ally to the elephant in the room. Flexing his bad hand, he winced slightly, glaring past Hiro and Hunter at the newcomers. "Right. Have fun with that." He told Chief, cracking open the shotgun and slapping in two shells, snapping it back into place and pumping it.
"Who's ass I gotta kick, first?"
Gordon Freeman, Spider-Gwen, Logan
Goldenwalk - Business District
"Peachy." Gwen replied, giving Nathan a thumbs up aided by a pained grin, before looking to the Scythe. "You too, right? You cool?" She winced slightly. Her moves earlier had just increased her pain, making the Ghost Spider wish she'd just stayed out of it. Flipping about wouldn't help this wound in any way. Still stung like hell.
Gordon Freeman watched on as the smoke dispersed, putting away the Gravity Gun, and glanced about, taking in his rather ruined surroundings in for the first time since he'd arrived. His purpose here wasn't entirely clear to him, and he doubted this would have the G-Man's location of selection. The G-Man seemed to operate in a more familiar world, but this new player... Doc Scratch... Gordon couldn't figure him out in the slightest. He talked a LOT, that much was clear. He spoke highly of himself, leaving no room for verbal arrow, and his vocabulary was fairly intellectual, though the man talked fast, and liked to jump to the next topic.
If he was being honest, Gordon didn't much like Doc Scratch. At least the G-Man got straight to the point, though his wording was always just as mysterious as the cue ball guy.
Returning to the present, Freeman walked over to join the group. Whatever the reason he was placed here, he assumed these were allies. Or maybe he'd just ruined Scratch's plans and was supposed to team up with the Scorpio guy. Didn't much matter to Gordon. He'd take control of his own life and actions if he could.
Gwen looked toward Gordon, raising her eyebrows. "You came out of nowhere, dude. Thanks for the save, looked like that Scorpio guy or whatever was a little scared of you."
Gordon shrugged.
------
Logan turned his gaze to the ruined building Toph had pointed out. It looked to be some kind of apartment complex halfway destroyed, and according to Toph, there were people trapped inside. He walked toward it, bits of rubble crunching underfoot. "Can't you like... move it with your powers?" He asked Toph, stopping in front of the building, giving her a quizzical look she'd never see. He had no idea how her powers worked, but having seen them first-hand, he assumed she could get these survivors out with ease. If not, then they'd need the Spider-Guy or whatever's help with this, too, considering the feat of strength he'd shown them earlier.
Johnson, Carolina, Church
Medina - Saudi Arabia
A single infected human walked in a slow, erratic circle atop a skyscraper, bits of flesh dangling from its mangled body, a bone whip hanging loosely at its side, making gargling and squelching noises as it wandered. However, a distant boom echoed across the city, and the combat form turned, looking toward the setting sun, the direction where the explosion had originated. With an animalistic screech, the combat form ran to the end of the room, and jumped-
"Damnit!" Johnson yelled as he yanked the controls up, lifting the Pelican higher, his lit cigar falling out of his mouth and onto his lap. A mess of dark red and green splattered the windshield of the Pelican, and he was quick to turn on the wipers, wiping away flood guts and gore. "Damn thing jumped right in front of me." He cursed some more, grabbing the fallen cigar and sticking it back in his mouth, letting out a puff before brushing some ash off of his lap.
"Have we reached the drop zone?" Carolina asked, her voice crackling in over Johnson's comms. He gave an unnecessary nod, before replying. "Yeah. We're there. Sorta. Just gotta lower this beautiful green bird."
Carolina watched as the back-end of the Pelican opened up, revealing buildings flying past them as they went. "I thought you said we were the-" She began to say to Johnson, before the Pelican gave an unpleasant jolt, forcing her to take a step back and regain her balance, the UNSC dropship slowing drastically. "Keep you on your toes, don't I?" Johnson's sly voice crackled in. There was a moment of silence as the Pelican lowered, before Church appeared in front of Carolina. "Did- did he just... flirt with you?"
She didn't reply, and instead, cracked her neck from side to side, before leaping out of the Pelican just as the Marines inside were standing up. "Bloody hell, she always gonna do that?" A Marine asked another as her feet hit the pavement beneath her, and her plasma rifles were raised, aiming for any unseen targets. So far... nothing. "Drop zone clear." She announced just as the Pelican lowered enough for the Marines to deploy around her.
They fanned the area as Johnson rose the Pelican again. "I'll keep the skies clear. You just make your way to the shipyard from here. Keep in touch." With Johnson's last words, the dropship took off. "Almost miss bein' back in the bush." The same Marine from before commented. "The bush?" Another asked. "Let's move." Carolina interrupted their conversation, nodding with her head toward the direction of the shipyard. East.
Cpl Fisk
Ruins of Quezon - Reach
"Status." The lead Spartan ordered.
"U-um..." Fisk gulped, looking to each of three armored figures, gazing at his own reflection in each of their visors. They were all much taller than him. Larger in every way. This was his first time being in the company of a Spartan, and despite the circumstances, he was honestly a little intimidated. He cleared his throat, before answering them. "Just me, sir. My squad, we uh..." He looked about at the carnage that lay around. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath, readjusting his hold on his battle rifle. "Just me." He finished.
"Stay close to us." The second Spartan ordered. This one was female. Despite all having the same suits, he could now see the difference between the lead man and the two others, who were both presumably female. Larger chests, more slender waists, and both were just a bit shorter than the leader.
"Fred." The second female sounded on-edge, staring ahead through the scope of her sniper rifle. The lead Spartan, Fred, followed her gaze to a mass of far distant figures, jumping through the ruins of Quezon, headed for them. "Right. Let's move. Kelly, scout ahead. Linda, keep an eye on them behind us. Marine." He looked down at Fisk, who felt so useless around them. "Do what you do best."
"What's that, sir?" Fisk couldn't help but ask as Fred turned around. "Fight." Was all the Spartan had to say to him.
Another gulp was had by the corporal, who shifted his gaze back behind them at the approaching mass. He could almost hear their shrieks. Why couldn't anything in this world be easy, for once?
"Fall out." Fred ordered, and the team began to move, heading away from the flood swarm. Where they were headed, Fisk could only guess, and he was far too intimidated to question where it was.
All he had to do was fight to survive.
Miranda, Whitaker, Rebium
UNSC Horizon
"Whitaker!"
Miranda reached helplessly back, but it was too late. Not even given a final word, the ex-head of the Insurrection was yanked back by a Brute Combat Form, and unceremoniously ripped in half, spraying the hall with blood. "No time to mourn!" The rough voice of the Brute she'd been negotiating with before the Flood attack said, his hairy arm raising next to her, and firing a round of spiker ammo into the flood, one of the spikes searing through the infection form lodged in its throat, which had pulled its head apart from its jaw.
The flood form fell, and Miranda let out an unlady-like growl, grabbing her dropped SMG from the ground and taking off down the hall, Rebium following close behind. "Bridge, status!" She yelled into her earpiece. Silence was all she got in return. "The parasites are making fools of us both." Rebium snarled, shaking his massive head, his shaggy fur jumping as they ran. He'd already tried contacting his ships, but to no avail.
Suddenly, a blast door at the end of the hall started to close, red lights blaring as it slowly moved downward. "NO!" Miranda yelled, sprinting faster, her boots pounding the deck as she went, but Rebium was faster, barreling past her and under the blast door into the next room. He turned, watching as it closed still, staring as Miranda raced forward, flood forms in pursuit behind her. He considered leaving her here like this... nobody would know. There was no way it would affect his already pathetic standing with Atriox...
However, despite these thoughts, he still found himself grabbing the door, tugging back up against it. Despite his great strength, it continued to close, but much slower. A mechanical strain could be heard as Miranda finally made it, dropping onto her rear and sliding under the door just as Rebium let go, the blast door shutting the rest of the way and sealing.
"Thanks." Miranda panted. Rebium grit his fangs, but said nothing to acknowledge her. "We need to keep moving. Now." He growled, and continued down the hall. Commander Keyes watched after him, still panting, before shaking her head. No time for breaks. She took off after him, her grip on her SMG still tight.
"Is it wise to just let them leave? It would be wiser to strike them down now would it not? Less future enemies." Renee asked, quietly, to the other members of the Squadron as Hiro's attempt at a playing up a big heroic sacrifice seemed to gain some traction as the other members of his party began to move out.
"We have our orders. It risks losing the target in the chaos to engage with lethal intent all of them. So if we can avoid it i'd be ideal. Besides, we know their target and against this large a force it is wiser to regroup with our new support and mount a defensive position." Malcolm replied as Andrew had a light chuckle among their private conversation.
"Waste of breath Renee. Mal always plays by caution AKA is too wimpy to go for something like that." Andrew replied with his hoodie masking his smirk.
"If either of you wish to report to our savior we potentially lost our target because we decided to rush the entire group when we didn't have to then by all means lead the charge." Malcolm offered as both other members froze at that thought and quickly the jokes or idea dropped on the spot.
Name: Caulifla
Location: Camelot
As Caulifla smacked that Mokey between the eyes, whatever sense of satisfaction she could have felt was wiped away in mere moments as the Mokey had dropped its blade which began to gather power and transfer it into the Mokey just as she struck with her blow.
Boom!!!
And a large explosion from the suicidal Mokey caused a large dust cloud to cover the area after a shockwave rocked the castle. Mere moments later, something dropped from the cloud and landed on the ground with a thud as it revealed itself to be Caulifla's body as it lied face down with sections of clothing and parts of her skin covered in soot and bruises respectively.
She seemed down and out, motionless as the blast had taken a toll with no time to evade or even try to defend herself. However, the young Saiyan woman slowly began to stir as she worked her way up to her knees as she groaned a bit as she felt the pain.
Damn it....don't be so pathetic! This guy hasn't even broken a sweat. Get up Caulifla you are better than this!
Caulifla shook her head as she refused to quit even with the suicide bomb exploding in her face. Slowly she made it back to her feet and worked to get stable after a shaky couple of steps as she glanced over to Belowski....and had a small smirk. Even if the pain she had been in was all too clear.
"What? Is that all you got? Come on that baby bomb was nothing. Give me all you got!" Caulifla said, actually taunting Belowski despite the latter not having a scratch to his name and Caulifla having struggled to stand. But that Saiyan pride had not been so much as even slightly diminished as she dared for more.
"That is impossible to say. It is unknown, if he has indeed returned, whether Zeliyis has managed to fully escape his prison or is still contained trying to find a way out. Either way, you need allies....even more than you have gathered as of now, as one alone or one small group stands no chance against such an entity. And to understand these crystals...where they came from and how they work, they could reveal key secrets." Glossaryck explained to the group as he answered Twilight's question, which naturally nerved Dipper but got Raven and even Star's full focus as the severity of the possible looming threat appeared clear to all present.
"What!? You are telling me we waited all that time to set up your little portal only to end up in the wrong place!?"
It had not been even five-minutes since Ogremon arrived on this new world before the warrior Digimon had found something to get upset over as he overheard Okimi's comment and indeed Catgirl's scanned seemed to reveal an altered location than the one he had been told they'd go to.
Given that he stormed to the group with a club in hand and a glare in his eyes, he had taken the news naturally well.
"What!? You made me wait all that time just to end up in the wrong place!?" Ogremon said with a growl as he clutched his club tight and stomped over to the group visibly annoyed. Even with this anger he noticed something in the distance, something that seemed like a creature or as Emiko had once explained to him a "plane" in the sky though it had a differed shape to the one he had been used to. Irregardless....
"You better fix this and fix it quick!" Ogremon spat as his high emotions only seemed to rise with this apparent screw up.
Name: Toph
Location: Goldenwalk
"Move the building? Piece of cake. Move it without squishing the people pinned against it? Not as easy. All I need is somebody to give them some space so I can move it without risk of breaking them." Toph clarified to Logan as it had been a fair question to ask as the people inside had been just enough in the way of the topped formation that moving it risked breaking them unless some space even if only a small amount had not been made.
