In contrast to the barren, blighted lands of Ryth, Valm benefits from fair, sunny weather, resulting in plentiful food supplies, to the point where there is more than enough to feed the the combined populations of both Valm and Ryth. This bounty means almost no one in Valm wants for anything, and crime is rare. The Valmese monarchs rule fairly and justly, and are loved by their people.

Contrary to popular belief, the sun does occasionally shine over Ryth, but most of the time the skies are deeply overcast and stormy. Law and order have also steadily eroded over the years despite the iron grip of the glory-seeking Rythian monarchs. Consequently, most Rythians remain indoors or underground, and only rich foreigners and immigrants travel above.

She is covered in a coat of fur that resembles a robe which is primarily dark red, with red-orange, flame-like markings near her knees, as well as a thin tuft of white fur on her torso, flanked by yellow fur draping down from her shoulders. Her has three tufts of red-orange fur protruding out of each ear. Her forearms feature long red fur resembling sleeves, and her hands and feet are dark gray with three clawed fingers and toes, respectively. A tail covered in yellow fur protrudes from her robe. She wears a dark red, tattered scarf.
Personality: Hinoka is considered by many to be a genius who can do most things flawlessly; though she hates being referred to as such, mainly because it reminds her of being teased by her seniors, who called her a genius many times in a hazing manner. However, in actuality, it is because Hinoka realized that her comrades truly meant it, proven when they sacrificed themselves so that she could escape and thus would be their legacy. She is aware of her prodigious talents and as a result is seen as a prideful individual by some, and arrogant by others. She is not without flaws, however, as she is a bit ill-tempered, and shows to have little self-esteem.
Backstory: Hinoka and her squad were stationed in Ryth to protect the capital while its queen was being escorted away to protect her from the Valmese army. However, her squad was decimated by a surprise attack by Valm on the capital. Hinoka was fighting off Valmese forces in the capital with the rest of her squad when her senior squad members elected that she leave the capital and warn her piers, as well as to preserve their legacy. Due to their sacrifice, Hinoka was the only one to survive.
