Lily opened her mouth, only thinking for two seconds, which was apparently way to long for the rest of the group, who handed her turn over to someone else, she opened her mouth to voice her indignation when she was interrupted by Rachel. Lily gave up and sighed, disappointed “Its cooking”

Eli looked at Maker “Did you see that?” “I’m using your eyes Eli, yes I did” Eli frowned “Do you think she’s ok?” “Best not to call it out now, wait until later when you can talk to her alone” Eli nodded and looks back at the game

Of course, Adolph continued to quietly sing, trying to pour his emotions into something at least somewhat constructive. However, when he was almost finished with his song, he choked on his words and was unable to continue, as his singing broke down into quiet sobbing, along with odd whimpering. He seemed to have no idea what was going on with anyone else, as he was too preoccupied with guilt. However, soon enough, his eyes opened and revealed his classic purple eyes, rimmed with blue. "I... I'm sorry... I'm sorry for the suffering I've caused... I... I'm a horrible person, I admit it... I should be shot... Brutally killed, it's... What I deserve..." He spoke, trying to at least apologize for his sins.

She listened to Renz and nodded. "Oh, um, sorry for blanking out like that." She looked at Michael and sighed. "Truth, I guess." She really didn't like Truth or Dare. It was those games that forced those being asked to either give up a secret or do something against their will. She sighed as she thought that truth was the better option from the prankster. Yeah, it had to be.

Rachel looked at the others in the group, seeing who she could fool. How did they guess she could cook? She should´ve done the ´raised in a resterant´ option.

Michael looked at Kathren. "Truth, eh?" He thought for a second. "Hm, should I, should I not?" He thought, smirking. "I mean, she would be embarassed, but it would finally give her the results she wanted. Actually, I'm not doing th---" Before his brain could stop his mouth, it was already too late. "So Kathren, what do you really think about Reeeeeeeeeee---" Before he could stop himself, he almost finished the sentence. He kept holding the e for about twenty seconds, thinking of what to do. Finally, he thought of something. "---eeeeeeeedton. Yup, what do you think of him." Jodi rolled her eyes, disappointed.

^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

Alejandro just sat and listened to what everyone was saying while they were playing 'Two Truths And A Lie'. He wasn't really interested in guessing, there was just too much on his mind. So, he just kept quiet and tried to remember these interesting facts that some of them were sharing and the others trying to guess which one is false.

Kathren gave Michael a slightly confused look. "Um, why?" She shook her head. "Ok then. He isn't that bad, leagues better than Bluton and Bob. Probally about the same level as Whiton. He allowed me to see Derp Lord, and allowed me to see other things that belong to me. What they were, I will not disclose for my own and his safety." She sighed. "Although my opinion on him keeps changing, I will consider him a friend when he's not crazy and someone to pity when he is. She looked around. "Um, Eli, truth or dare?"

Kathren, quite frankly, didn't have a thing for the dare option. She sighed and quickly tried to come up with something. Oh, how she hated to be the one to tell someone to do something that could hurt them. But that was the point of the game. After several seconds, possibally a minute, Kathren said, "I dare you to hop on one foot, rub your belly, and pat your head until two turns have passed." She sighed as she nodded in confimation. This was as bad as she could go without feeling like a monster.

Maker seemed to have spaced out for a while. She saw Eli do his dare, but there was no reaction from it. When she heard her name, she blinked and her eyes brightened up again. "Okay! Truth!" She grinned, just like she always used to.

"Are you sure?" Azumi, who was standing behind Eli asked with concerned.

"Yes I'm sure!" Maker said out loud. "Truth!" She looked at Eli and nodded.

Make looked concerned about the question. She saw Azumi laughing, like if making fun of her. "This is gonna be good." The imaginary sister said.
Maker's temper rose and she snapped at Eli. "I just got tortured Eli! How the hell am I suppose to act?"
Azumi shook her head. "It's not really his fault you know."
Maker regretted her words and gave Eli a sad look. "Sorry, I'm just a little shaky." She sighed and looked at Adolph. "You playing?"

Adolph snapped out of his seemingly trance like state, and nodded, trying to compensate for being lost in thought. He sadly smiled, and his eyes flashed lightly, the cybernetic mark spinning as usual. "O-oh, y-yes, t-thank you. I-indeed I am. S-sorry for the l-lack of a-awareness, I-it's j-just... I'm worried about Kat and Pyskha… I-I h-have n-no idea w-what is going o-on with them, a-as... W-with Lewis' death, I-I've found it a l-lot harder to co-onnect with t-them through t-the cybernetic link... B-but, you don't need to know that." He replied sadly, stuttering quite badly as he tried his very hardest to resist the urge to hide in the corner and cry to himself. Of course, everyone in the group was suffering at the time, so Adolph wasn't really anything special. However, he was a bit more open about his emotions, ever since he was broken, and that lead to him giving up his strong willed visage. Formerly, before he was broken, he at least TRIED to act strong, to prevent those around him from knowing his true emotional state.

Previously The failure
He sighed and seemed to enter a thinking pose, putting his hand to his chin. "Hmm... Normally, I would like to go with a dare, as really, nothing you guys can do will hurt me more then what they have done, however... I do not think you know much about me, so truth would be a better option." He replied softly, forcing himself to smile sadly, in the attempts of politeness.

Maker's temper rose at Adolph's response. It was just a simply question and he had to make it complicated. She could see Azumi nodding her head in disagreement, but Maker didn't care.
"Seriously? Nothing you guys can do will hurt me, bullshit! Man, stop feeling sorry for yourself and step it up." She stood up, the anger just rising to her head. "I lost my lover and Lewis." She poorly imitated Adolph. "I lost my sister, my twin sister. You have any idea what kind of pain the is? It's so strong you can't cry, you can't scream because my stupid mind can't seem to know how to express such a strong emotion. Yet here I am, trying to get everyone moving and support them, yet you decide to come in, out of nowhere, AGAIN, and just bring the mood down? We don't need this, so stop being a burden and get that big brain of yours on working on a solution. Is that clear?" She clenched her fist and her voice was loud. "Truth! Where the hell did you go while we were getting captured by these losers?!"

The Heart of Frostfire.

Previously The failure
He simply shrugged at her anger, his eyes seemingly a dark void of colour, the grey colouring appearing to have all colour sucked out of them, as they have been for the past while. "Did I say I wanted your life story? I am SO very sorry that I was working with my company to attempt to get you guys out of here, Arceus knows how we've struggled to try and free you! It might have actually caused even a small amount of disorder if we didn't get separated from the rest of the damn task force! Is that a good enough answer? We've all suffered here, I know how it's like to lose someone dear to you... I mean, fuck, especially with me and Lewis, we had a bond that was greater than one of emotion, as us four, now three, are actually mentally linked, so yeah, I sure as hell know how you're bloody feeling! Fuck, if I weren't trying to make a bloody effort to stay strong for you guys, I'd have already given up on the world and bashed my fucking head against the wall until I DIED FROM BLOOD LOSS, just so that the pain would stop, and I would stop being a burden!" He growled in retaliation to her anger, but the flame in him was extinguished as quickly as it came, as he slumped back on the ground when he finished his reply. He placed his head in his hands, and groaned loudly. "Why must everyone be so ungrateful?! I mean, fuck, it's because of you innocents that I still bloody live..." He muttered to himself, continuing to stay in a posture similar to a man questioning his sanity.

Renz was fed up with the cursing. Extravagant use of cusses was one of the things he disliked most, and he was tired of it. He shot up to his feet and glared down at Adolph, clearly unhappy with the man.

"Quit it. None of us are happy right now, and we're playing this game so we can just forget for a little while. So please just stop it and play the game."

He stared at the man for a moment or two and then slowly settled back into his seat. Sure, he was grateful to Adolph if he really had been trying to get them out of this place, but he was still fed up with the man. he took a few short breaths to calm himself and closed his eyes.

Maker was about to explode, when Renz joined the conversation. She went quiet, like if the message had been for both her and Adolph. She sat down quietly and looked at Adolph. "Your turn to choose."

"Losing your mind already?" Azumi said as she stood next to the door. "A good leader doesn't burst out like that."

"I'm not a leader!" Maker yelled out. She crossed her arms and looked around at everyone. "I just felt like sharing that." She said quietly and looked away.

The Heart of Frostfire.

Previously The failure
He didn't seem to care that he was being glared at, nor that he was being scolded by Renz. He simply sighed, not even bothering to look up. He continued to hold his head in his hands, muttering softly to himself. What he was muttering was not very understandable, but seemed to be a set of instructions for some sort of digital device. However, he stopped muttering, at least long enough to reply.

"I shouldn't even be here, you as well know that... I'm only playing along because I have to, if I had some say in the matter, I'd be off trying to see what I can scrounge up in the hopes that I can break us out... Err... Umm... I... Don't really know who to chose... It's been so long, you might as well be strangers... You've all changed so much, and... I mean, when I came back after being trapped travelling through the multiverse for 5 years, or, at least 5 years for my group of three... I barely got a chance to catch up before my company called me in again!"

He replied softly, before going back to muttering to himself, definitely some sort of instructions, as well as scientific jargon. It was difficult to understand, but it seemed as though he was attempting to work through some sort of re-programming for his cybernetics, as well as trying to work on an idea for some sort of electronic device.

Renz glanced at Maker. He didn't remember her ever bursting out like that before, even though she could be a bit provokable. Perhaps they had done something when they were torturing her... he let it go at that and turned to Adolph. He had no idea what the man was gibbering about, and the whole '5 years of traveling through the multiverse' thing made him mad. Before being captured, he would have been intrigued or merely amused, but now he just saw it as excuses for indecisiveness.

"Just choose someone! It really doesn't matter. It's not 'Pick the right Captured Loser, if you guess right you get a fabulous prize, and if you're wrong you get electrocuted'! It's just a game!"

Now Renz was beginning to lose his temper. He didn't blame Maker for her outbursts, he couldn't begin to guess what they had done to her, but the scientist was really getting on his nerves. Why didn't he just pick someone? He had spent longer explaining why he couldn't pick than it would have taken him to stand up, put a hand out, spin in a circle with his eyes closed and choose that way.

Previously The failure
He crossed his arms and huffed quietly, closing his eyes as be began to think. He was extremely confused at the time, and from the absolute chaos of emotions and thoughts he felt, he found it rather hard to focus on anything, as the whole reason that he adopted an emotionless visage in the first place was that he was bad with dealing with intense emotions! However, he began to think, although, before he could reply with his choice, his eyes snapped open, and a strange, robotic voice replaced what was normal.

"This is an automated distress call from the NCSS Sylveonite! We are in grave danger, our first successful attempt at testing the first starship made by the new space exploration division has ended in failure, as one of our crew has ended up sabotaging the ship and caused severe damage to power systems! We are not at risk of hull breach, however, if we do not manage to repair power systems soon, life support will fail and... It's obvious what would happen after that... We are unable to use engines or the prototype warp drive to get to safety, as engine power is entirely disabled until repaired! Requesting immediate support, as there is a high risk that we will be unable to restore full power before life support fails! tlhIngan maH! taHjaj! Please, someone! Help us!"

He seemed somewhat shocked at what was just said by him, as he snapped out of his trance with shock. He shook his head, and put his head in his hands, groaning loudly again.

"Argh! What the hell was that?! Automated distress call? Space exploration division? I know NCSS is the title given to our ships sent by NanoCorp, but while we do have a Space exploration division, we do not yet have the ability to make proper intergalactic starships, and our space exploration vessels are mostly bound to this solar system, as FTL travel has not yet been discovered! What's going on?! Is this someone's idea of a sick prank?! Or... Could it be... A message from the future? I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE! WHAT IS GOING ON?!"

Azumi's laugh rang in Maker's head. "So much for a scientist huh? Can't follow a simple instruction. He can create nano technology but can't play truth or dare." Azumi shook her head in disappointment. "How sad."
Maker rubbed her forehead. "You know what Adolph. Go take a nap or something. I'm really not in the mood to deal with you right now."

"Oh but we are!" The speakers sounded. "In fact, did Adolph here just contact the outside world? Yes he did! So as punishment, you will all be going for a walk tomorrow morning. I suggest you all get some sleep. Remember one bedroom has three beds and one has four, plus a couch. I wonder how you will all arrange yourselves." The speaker went off.

Maker looked around and then set her eyes on Gaeboo. "You can have one of my blankets and pillow and sleep on the floor or share a bed with one of us or the couch with Adolph." She got up and walked away towards the room with three beds. She was tired and defeated. Sleep was now her only escape from her current life. She slipped into the same bed from the night before, setting aside a blanket and pillow for Gaeboo just in case. She curled up and hid her face under the sheets, trying to stop the tears from falling.
Azumi stood by the bed. "You're weak Maker. You always have been."

---- The Avengers Mansion Cabin ----
Ron stretched his arms and laughed. "You guys have interesting games. But, we need to get moving. It's getting dark and we need to reach Harthome by foot. Everyone, 15 minutes until we go."
Nana smiled at Marigold and danced for her, trying her best to participate in whatever game they were playing.

The Adolph simply gave a hopeless whine, and his eyes flashed a bright blue, before the cybernetic matrix in his eyes dimmed out, leaving only his dark purple eyes. He was about to start speaking, to try and argue with Maker, until the speaker turned on with the news of punishment. His eyes went wide, and he started shaking his head, muttering the words 'nein' repeatedly, before giving a proper reply.

"Oh god... I... I didn't contact the outside world... I swear... Lewis' death caused damage to my remote link to the company, I can't contact them even if I wanted to! I... I have no idea what's going on... I swear... I... Oh god..."

He replied, before his eyes turned darker, and the realization of something seemed to hit his facial features like a brick.

"I... Somehow the task force, those who were separated from my team of four when we tried to free the prisoners... Managed to connect with a neural link, albeit weak... I... I'll put in instructions for my cybernetics to shut down the remote link systems and divert the power once going there to the perception enhancement system... The instruction can only be followed when resting, so... You're right, Maker... I need sleep... If you need me, I'll be finding somewhere to sleep... Perhaps a nice box or a table..."

He replied, only partially joking about his questionable arrangements for sleep, as he was actually quite used to sleeping in a type of bed that might have been somewhat fancy and sophisticated, but still rather box-shaped despite the tech integrated in it to ensure comfort. So naturally, he does exactly that, and looks around for a box large enough to fit at least half of his body, not seeming to mind that he could easily be made fun of for the catlike tendencies of sleeping inside a box.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, with the Task Force...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the 'Avengers' started to make preparations to get ready to leave, a small group of what seemed to be well-equipped specialists slowly surrounded their cabin, making sure to stay out of sight as they got ready to engage in an ambush. They seemed to have a sort of outfit combining aspects of the common army with more of a futuristic feel, a specialist trainer, and a kind of stealth unit from something Science Fiction. The leader of the small group, consisting of perhaps 6 people, gestured at the others silently, pointing at the house and giving some sort of order that most people wouldn't understand. They prepared to break in, and as everything went silent, the leader stood by position near the door. They slammed the door open and rushed in to face those occupying the cabin, quickly followed by her comrades, which took positions to surround the 'avengers'. As the leader, presumably Female, pulled out a small weapon, seemingly a sort of laser rifle, the others quickly followed, and all six sent out their main Pokémon, through a sort of wrist device that caused their first belt Pokéball to open. Six strong and clearly well trained Pokémon appeared in front of their respective trainers, in order from the leader, being Luxray, Garvantula, Noivern, Arcanine, Sylveon, and Lycanrock(dusk form, to be precise.)…

"Stay still and do not move, our plasma inducers are set to disable and we will not hesitate in having our Pokémon engage in combat while we give supressing fire! Now... You SSMR fiends will inform us where you are keeping the Phoenixes and other prisoners, or I will be forced to get the needed information the hard way. We have come a long way to free those captured by them, and will NOT take failure as an option!"

The Female demanded, clearly both her stern, commanding voice and obvious confidence showed that she must have had quite a lot of experience with leadership. She had a clearly foreign accent, having come from another place entirely. Perhaps she was a high ranking official back during the final stretch of the wars in the eastern, forgotten regions of the world. Of course, that was behind her, as thanks to the wars ending and peace settling in back home, both her and NovaCorp were able to focus on keeping peace and freedom throughout the known regions, a goal that of course involved stopping the SSMR in the end. Of course, while one would expect to at least recognize someone in the Task Force, considering how experienced they were, but most would have been unable to recognize even the Female, as most of her well recognizable work was done in her homeland, a region north of Stahlblatt, and only came to Sinnoh shortly after the region was captured by the SSMR. Of course, it was EXTREMELY likely that the 'Avengers' wouldn't have an idea of her background, nor the events that happened in the forgotten part of the globe, although it was possible that someone who researched global events might have had an idea.

Renz jolted upright when the speaker blared out. He was worried at first, and then confused. He was angry at Adolph, sure, but his confusion was more pressing at the moment. Going on a walk was punishment? He found that difficult to believe. However, he knew enough about the boogers to guess that they meant something much worse than the ordinary definition of 'a walk'. He was deep in thought as the game broke up, and slowly made his way to bed. He was already in his Pajamas; He had been wearing the Vileplume onesie since he got up. He plopped onto the bed he had selected the nigh before and pulled the covers up to his chin, still pondering...

***************

Marigold was taken by surprise as this group of frightening people burst into the cabin. She had just been gathering her things in preparation to leave when they entered. Although Marigold had never been one to give up, she could tell that these Pokemon were too tough for any of her team to handle. The gunlike devices were also threatening to her, although she had no idea what in Arceus' name they were. She also had no idea what the woman who seemed to be in charge was blabbering about, except that she seemed to think Marigold and the rest of her group were from the SSMR. Her eyes grew dark as she glared at the woman, and her hands reached downwards, one to a Pokeball and one for her tennis racket. She had words for them as well, but she knew they couldn't be considered diplomatic by any standards, so she decided to leave the talking to the others.

Eli got up, his brain basically shutting down with everything that happened, he walked to the bed he slept in last night and got in, staring at the wall as he just thought to himself.

Lily looked up, frowning at the task force, her blood boiling, how dare they say that to her! She stood up, the fury of a thousand fires in her eyes, growling at them with enough force to scare a spiritomb "How dare you call us part of that wretched group! They kidnapped my bother, and nothing is going to stop me from getting him back!" she yelled at them, looking at them with a look that said 'Your in my way, someone is going to die here'

Ron just watched as the cabin was invaded. He listened to the squad's leader carefully and then laughed. He was about to speak when Lily's outburst happened. He smirked and pointed at her with his thumb. "What she said." Nana agreed by placing her hands on her hips and nodded constantly.
Ron walked up and stood in front of the leader. "You got the wrong idea here. I would think that such an advanced unit would be able to tell the difference between terrorist and civilians. Whoever gave you your badge must've overlooked your ability to use common sense."

Gaeboo growled at Maker for a second, but then stopped. He sighed, he hated every second of this, especially since that psychotic, inhumane bastard arrived here. He turned Maker around and gave her the blanket and pillow she gave to him. He laid her down in her bed, then turned away.

"You don't worry about me. I'll take the bathtub. Don't expect that garbage scientist to be very uninjured in the morning though. You sleep well."

He walked off to the bathroom, and did exactly what he said he would: he began to fall asleep in the bathtub.

Fleur literally hid under a coffee table because of how scared she was. She was very terrified by this situation, and refused to leave her hiding spot, literally gripping onto the underside of the table. She knew trying to call Nat so much would get attention drawn to them...

The leader smirked sadistically, and shook her head, clearly not intimidated. She chuckled cruelly, before looking Lily directly in the eyes, her own turning a very dark red, almost the colour of Guinness.

"Do you think you're scary, darling? Please, I've met Magicarp more terrifying than you. After all, it's difficult to frighten a hardened general, one of a group who helped put an end to war~"

She replied with clear malice, grinning as she primed the charges in her weapon while motioning for her comrades to not do so themselves. She was about to aim at Lily and set automatic tracking to her, hoping that using the weapon's controlled energy to knock them out for a bit would be enough to get her point across, when Ron stepped closer to her. His clear bravery, or perhaps arrogant foolishness, stuck out to her, and her grin only widened.

"Please, my visor does not lie~ According to these readings, you lot are the exact people who captured our comrades, and they have not failed us yet. I also highly doubt that there are no civilians who are working with the SSMR, it would explain as to how the region was captured in the first place~"

She spoke, her voice dripping with less malice, and turning a bit more stern. She laughed softly, as she holstered her weapon for the time being. Her face went stern as she gently swiped at the air in front of her, as if interacting with a touch screen. A very faint blue screen appeared in front of her, which she seemed to interact with, perhaps her visor was displaying a sort of holographic interface that only she could see.

"I'm sad to see Nanocorp make such a mistake. We are all registered trainers and you couldn't simply look us up? PokeGears can do that. Now, step aside, I need to rescue my sisters, not teach Nanocorp to use modern day technology." He walked over and offered Fleur his hand. "Come on. We should leave before this ignorant group attracts real SSMR members." Ron signaled for his team to follow him. He looked at the squad leader. "Ron Towers by the way, do your homework on me before even considering getting in my way." He guided his team outside and began walking down the forest, making sure everyone followed. He had a plan to follow and wouldn't allow any interference.
Nana made sure Ty followed through and walked besides him, talking non stop about who knows what.

Kathren, with the fight happening and the constant outburst, retreated back into the state she came in. Staring, non-reactant, and zombie-like. She heard the order and went to sleep after a quick change. She didn't even use her newly reacquired journals! No, she was gone in a sence. She soon entered the bed that she slept in the night before.

Rachel looked at the officers and felt like crying. They thought she was responsible for her older sister's captured! They thought she wanted her sister gone. Tears freely flowed as she shut down, mentally. She was threatened. She could barely handle that. No, she was a pacifist, she couldn't harm another, she couldn't stomach it. Besides, she loved her sister to death! Her sister sang silly songs and made comments about how her Whooper was the derpiest out of all the Whooper, and even all the Pokemon. To be threatened and to be accused of kidnapping her beloved sister hurt her more then any Mach Punch ever could.
When Ron told them it was time to leave, she didn't move. She was so wrapped up in her thoughts and distress that she just sat there, crying. It wasn't loud cries, but soft ones. But she was crying nonetheless.

Ron noticed that Rachel wasn't following. He walked up to her and crossed his arms. "Hey, this isn't the time to break down. If you're having a hard time right now, imagine what your sister is going through. She needs you to be strong now more then ever. The entire team depends on all of us doing our best. Come on, we can talk about it on the way. I had two very talkative sisters, specially Maker, I'm a great listener." He signaled for her to follow him, the faster they left the intruders, the better.

Rachel looked at Ron, his image blurry due to the tears. She did know what he was asking though. She nodded as she stood up, sniffling and she still cried. To be quite honest, Rachel didn't want to talk. Especially since there were several things that she kept quiet, like the fact she was a pacifist, and the fact Soul was a comfort Pokemon of sorts. She followed behind the group, heavy-footed and arms crossed, giving herself a hug.

She smirked and shook her head, closing her eyes shut.

"The world would be a lot easier if everyone signed up for being part of the enhancement program... PokeGears are so... Primitive, obsolete... My apologies, Ron... I do not understand why my sensors picked you up as part of the cult. If you are going to attack the SSMR, then we shall lend support, and no is not an answer. After all, it's nice to have a meat shield one can count on while laying supressing fire."

She chuckled, laughing loudly at her own satirical comment, although she was completely serious. She returned her Pokémon, her comrades doing the same, and started to slowly follow the group, taking advantage of the brush and trees to stay hidden while making sure that they knew they were being followed by the group. For a group of highly trained soldiers, they were rather silent, and wouldn't have even be seen unless someone knew they were there, and actively looking for them. It helped that they had quite good active camouflage~

Marigold walked along with the rest of her group, seething with anger. She had wanted nothing more than to send a Pokeball flying at the woman's neck, and hopefully make her shut up or maybe even die. While Marigold normally wouldn't have thought like this, these people's accusations, that they were part of the SSMR, and that they were the ones who were hurting their family.... and added to that, they had made Rachel pretty upset. Now she walked close to her friend, trying to be a comforting presence, even though she doubted she'd be any good. She still held her tennis racket, and she could reach her Pokeballs any time...
Ty walked at the head of the group. The fires on his neck were alight, bright enough to help them see, but not so bright that it would attract attention unless someone was expressly looking out for people. Marigold couldn't help thinking it was risky, though, and asked Ty to stop. He did, and it took Marigold's eyes a few minutes to adjust to the dim moonlight. All the while, she was hoping they could find out where their friends and family were and save them.

Ron kept leading the group through the dark forest, keeping an eye on Nana who seemed too curious about the place and could in any instance teleport away. "You know Nana, there's big scary ghost out there and they like to eat little Kirlias who get lost." Ron said with a serious tone. Nana looked frightened and walked closer to Ty, placing her small hand on him as to not get lost.

Then a noise was heard through the air. The sound of something falling from the sky. Before anyone could react a small metallic can looking object fell in front of the group and exploded. A giant cloud of black smoke covered them. "Typhlosion take Nana to the back! Everyone stay close, any Pokemon with wings needs to get rid of this smoke!" Ron shouted.
The sound of veichles was heard and spotlights were turned on all around them, but it was impossible to see who it was.
"You're trespassing SSMR territory, STAND DOWN!"

Marigold flinched back a step or two, coughing. She knew it was a bad situation, but she was angry at the SSMR and in no mood to give in easily. She tapped a Pokéball on her belt and out popped Robin, who fluttered around blindly in the smoke. Marigold called out to the small bird, careful to sound as if she were only trying to get rid of the smoke and not defying the SSMR in any way... just in case. She could be hasty, but she wasn’t stupid.

“Robin, this smoke is making it hard to breathe! Please, clear it away quick!”

Her voice was twinged with an odd tone, a faint hint that she was acting. Robin complied with the command, and began flapping furiously to clear away the smoke. Once it had all dispersed, Marigold made sure to very obviously return Robin to her Pokéball.

Ron looked around as the smoke disappeared. He gave Marigold a thumbs up and then scanned the area. There were four trucks surrounding them. Each had a driver, copilot and someone in the back. There were eight Pokemon. Ursaring, Beartric, Pangoro, Tangrowth, Metang, Primeape, Hypno and Seismitoad. Ron looked around as one grunt began shouting orders to place their Pokeballs down and to lay on the floor. "No." Ron replied. Before the grunt could finish asking Ron to repeat himself, Ron's Pokeball opened and out came a Rampardos. This Pokemon was bigger than normal and it had a mean look, the kind you get after years of fighting. "Those who can't battle, stay behind me. Everyone else, make sure they don't call for back up." He turned to the two trucks in the front, which had the three bear Pokemon and Hypno. "Rampardos, rock slide!"
The giant fossil Pokemon roared as it smashed it's tail against the ground and sent boulders flying at his opponents.

Marigold was secretly delighted by their course of action. She watched with awe as the powerful Rampardos launched its powerful first attack, making a mental note to challenge Ron to a sparring match if they ever rescued their friends and escaped Sinnoh. As the first attack was launched, Marigold sprinted off to one side in order to get a good angle for her shot, whipped out her tennis racket, and slammed John's Pokeball into a grunt's forehead, putting him out cold. 'Lil John burst out of his ball and tackled the other grunt in the truck, before he could command his Metang to attack. The Primape who belonged to the knocked out man charged at Marigold, but she quickly released Robin, who caught its attention with a heavy peck and then flew beyond reach.

Alejandro analyzed the situation that they were in, and noticed the Seismitoad off to the side, debating who to attack.
"Okay, big guy, I guess I'll choose you." Alejandro reached into his pocket and took out a PokéBall, then throwing it into the air. "Let's join the fight, buddy!" The PokéBall opened and the red beam materialized into his starter Pokémon. The large gecko landed heavily on the ground. It smiled smugly at the big frog and waited for commands. "Sceptille, use Leaf Blade!" The Forest Pokémon darted at the frog and jumped above it.
"Seismitoad, use Ice---" The grunt tried to command his Pokémon, but Sceptile was just to fast, and it hit it directly on the head with its keen tail-blade. It leaped away once its job was done, and observed. The SeismiToad straight up fainted from the attack, and the grunt was in distress. Alejandro smirked and looked at Sceptile. "How about a Energy Ball?" The Grass Type smiled and fired a bright sphere of energy at the grunt. The grunt panicked and turned on his heel, trying to run, but the Ball caught him before he could even take five steps. "Okay, now let's try and help the others. Use, I dunno, Magical Leaf." Sceptile nodded and sent a flurry of leaves at the other foes, in hope of helping the others defeat them. He would have done it himself, but if the others wanted to save their relatives, they should be able to defeat some grunts. Also, he was very tired.

Fleur had followed eventually, but stood stiff once they were ambushed by SSMR. She didn't know what to do, she hadn't battled in over a decade! Suddenly, Spunk, her Piplup, burst out of their ball. She had been waiting for ten years to kick some butt, and didn't care who it was. She ran into a group of grunts, then bowled them over from a self created ice path. She stood triumphantly, proud of what she'd done. Then she literally got punted away by another grunt, and knocked Fleur over. Spunk got real pissed at that, and decided to jump on that one guy's face and repeatedly peck at it. There's one guy who wasn't doing anything useful.
