Yowashi was enjoying the fine artistry in the halls of a Dragonheart entryway. he was told not to wander without the halls and even his excuse of a bathroom break meant he would be escorted by two guards. Yowa made note of the weaponry held out on display, the cadence on how the guards would walk, and finally when he reached the only form of privacy in a well-scented latrine Yowa took out his notes. he noted that the servants were not that loose-lipped and when he stumbled upon a noble there was no wavering loyalty. with his spies and merchants already deployed, there wasn't much he could do now except wait for information.

Yowa made his way back to the meeting room without visibly tampering anything. "Sorry about, hope I didn't miss an important proposal."

Taylor brought the wine as Leo had requested, then sat stiffly beside Nis, glancing around warily as if she expected a serial killer to jump out from behind any given pillar. Which she kind of did, seeing as she was a former assassin herself. She knew better than anyone that if you wanted to kill someone, you do it when they least expect it. She remained silent throughout the discussion, holding her tongue even though part of her wanted to scream hurry it up, someone might jump out and kill the both of you at any moment. Probably her paranoid side talking. Probably. Definitely.

Ocarina

"W-what is this? Why didn't you tell me yesterday???!" Ocarina was in shock while holding the copy of paper containing Leopold's last decree. She was sitting in front of the dining table and a warm chicken soup was already served for her. "I'm not ready to become a heir."

"I'm truly sorry milady, but yesterday you were busy with the funeral ceremony and I didn't want to burden your mind any further." Bronya stood next to Ocarina, her eyes looking back and forth between the letter and the girl who's now slumped on the dining chair.

"Mother will be very happy if she know about this. Ughh, but I never thought things would turn like this." Ocarina jammed her spoon into the bowl and ate the soup without minding about manner to vent herself.

"What will you do, milady?"

"I... don't know..." The girl ate her breakfast with such speed that a lot of it spilled onto the table. "I don't know what I should do, but I know what I want to do. Bronya, let's go to the library!"

"Im glad you asked, as it is quite reasonable to be wary.. Thanks Taylor" he said to his retrainer and took a sip of a wine and noticed Yowa arrival.
"Please, at least accept this wine dear Princess of Puresoulia and hear me out. Dear Retrainer of Puresoulia, none of proposition has been made.. Yet... Nis! Did you bringed what I asked you for?" Leo asked.
"Yes, I also checked that no one with ill intent towards you or our guests entered the castle after they arrived" said the young elf and approached the table giving a pile of paper in front of his lord.
"First thing is that we aren't really a close relatives of any sort to previous king, which gives a problem of our claims to Bracia's throne. Although idea of heirs was created by the king himself, sudden 'fake succesors' may came from another nation and claim that they have bigger claims for a throne. First thing should be a position stability, trying to secure your position by being accepted by all noble families, not only the four big ones and by some other nations, that will see our claim as reasonable. Our kingdom ally can help a lot in that matter, another thing is that although we can quite a lot resources capable for trade with other nations, due to a fact of influence from Numekosian Empire makes it really hard to really give any profit, due to that on our people were taken quite huge taxes and it is hard to really provide our people things they need. For example some smaller villages start to completely dissapire, due to how hard it was for them to life. Numekosians also often raided and still will raid us, so our borders can't be called save. Its funny how war and other nations actions can impact everyones live in a kingdom. Our another weakness is that although we try our bests, there are some Shady lords that commit in our country many evil acts that destroies slowly our economy" he handed her over a few documents "Those documents are what I gathered so far about that matter, including lords that are possibily involved in slavery, smuggling information about our nations secrets and current situation and some more..." he said after this "First main reform after gaining stability is... War.. We have to settle things with Numekosians finally, before our country really collaps. There is also a danger of those black fury guys that needs to be taken care of" he said and sipped his wine again "Now, you will answer my question, what kind of Queen would you want to be and why? I would also want to know as who do you see me to be in a kingdom that you would create, if you somehow become the queen" he asked Lady of Puresoulia.
Leo noticed that Taylor is on the edge as something troubled her.
"Taylor, remember to grant both me and Princess Palladia good security. No matter how our conversation may end, if something happend to any of us, it may really impact everyone in the kingdom" He smiled widly "Just stay as careful as you are now and thank you for your hard work"

Rhd looked around the temple chamber, “Well I guess this is a decent place for now… not much compared to the old citadel.” Rhd shrugged, “As long as Bleu gets her focusing chambers and libraries, and Grein has a few places to work on her experiments and incubation rooms.” She looked at the chairs in the room unimpressed, “Eh, I’m more of a lounge chair or bed kind of girl, you know that.” She smiled, “So, what do we do now in the mean time? I’m sure Grein is already wiping out small towns Numeko or whatever you said you wanted. And Bleu likely already has established a church somewhere in there in your name and is probably gaining followers in the kingdom.”

Palladia listened to Leo's speak without any inflection of expression. The Puresoulia were the voice of the people, beloved by the common folk and by extension, keenly aware of their troubles. Popular support was the basis of their power and the family did anything in its power to keep the people happy and healthy. No Lord would dare practice slavery within the Puresoulia's domain, but that was only one city, and it seemed the kingdom at large was still degrading. Leo appeared far more versed in the kingdom's vices than she and she carefully committed each issue to memory.

When he'd finally finished speaking and posed a question of his own, the heiress allowed a small, confident smile to bloom on her lips.

"I am the Queen who will become the Empress."

It was a simple statement, but more than enough to display her confidence and raw ambition. Her smile softened only slightly as she continued.

"I cannot speak to where I see you, it would be hasty of me to position you anywhere when I've yet to see your capabilities. Your eagerness to give up your own claim to the throne and to join my banner is...mildly concerning, it certainly isn't something I would expect of an heir. Though...being locked in a castle and sheltered from the wider world is also not the grooming I would expect. However, I believe one's actions and merit should determine their characters. Prove to me that you're trustworthy and I'll prove to you that I deserve your trust and loyalty."

Jackal listened to Rhd in silent listening to all her comments, he just sighed and then heard her question. He looked at the demon for a few seconds then gave his answer "Right now, we will just watch from the distance as Royals do things, but I can clearly tell you.. Entire continent will soon be at war.. Of course, by soon I don't mean in one week or month, maybe not even a year, but tension in the air grows and its only a matter of time when the war breaks out and when it will, we will join the site that supports our cause the most.. Remember Rhd.. Lord of the Void don't want from us to destroy the world, but change it to his liking"

"I see..." said Leo and went silent for a while. Nobody could read his face expression now, completely blank, without emotions. Leo get up from his sit and slowly approached Palladia. He gazed at her for a good few minutes, then made a small laught "Sorry, I don't laught at your answer just... Phew.. Tension went down a bit... Empress, huh.. Nice goal, I have to say and don't be suprised that I gave up on a throne claim. I just wanted to check if there is someone better for this title for people than me. I do it only on concern for their happines" he took her hand with his gentle grab and kissed her palm. "I think that I understand you a little bit better now thanks to this question, so I will show you how talented and trustworthy I am for those that worth my trust. I am happy that you aren't as dumb as some other people, who wouldn't even think twice on giving me something" he raised his head and smiled "Thank you for your time, you may consider me as ally, although don't put much trust in me untill you are sure about my intencions of course. If there is something that you may want to ask, feel free to do so.. Your retrainer can too" said Leo with a soft smile.

Palladia nodded and rose from her seat.

"Then, if you have nothing more, you'll have to excuse me. You've received word of the happenings in the Tigroran's domain, no? I'd like to pay a visit and see what's afoot. Would you like to come?"

The Puresoulia took the initiative to both end the discussion and extend an invitation. If anything, the Dragonheart seemed to have the advance on them when it came to an information network. It would only be beneficial to have Leo accompany her to the Tigroran's domain. It seemed to be the most chaotic of the four domains, and her weariness towards it was only matched towards the mysterious Montainte, who hadn't made a peep since the day of the King's funeral.

"Sounds like an interesting visit to make, I am indeed quite interested so can as well come with you and meet with them" he said with a smirk.

Leo turned to his retrainers. "Nis, Taylor.. I want you two to stay here untill I came back or change orders, but you can do whatever you want. I will see you guys faster than both of you think.

He then turned back to Palladia "Give me a moment" and he quickly left the room, he slightly changed his clothes for ones more comfortable for combat and travel, as well as still being a noble cloths. On his way back he could tell that other 'Dragons' watch his actions... Ha! Let them watch!
He returned to Palladia as fast as he dissapired. "Well, I am ready to go" he said.

In the same time Andreas that stayed quiet as two nobles talked and just aided his lady with his presence, if she wanted anything, made a small bow to her "Lady Palladia.. I guess that my ship is already prepared, so if I want to be back quickly to your side, I gonna leave you in a midway" said the retrainer.

Nis took Taylor by the hand "So.. If we gonna be free now.. I wanted to show you something, Tay! Would you mind coming with me?" he asked her with a typical to his innocence in the voice with a sweet smile not leaving his face.

Rhd scoffed, “Destruction is a part of creation, but don’t worry, all will submit to the Lord’s will willingly or not.” Rhd took a seat in one of the six chairs and stretched out lazily, “Don’t forget the three of us crippled the gods, and now they hide like scared powerless children, it’s only a matter of time before Bleu finds them and we will take our revenge... the countries being at war only benefits the three of us remember?” Rhd grinned, “Blood, death, decay, rage, anguish, dispair... it's all so delicious....”

Taylor grinned at Nis, giving his hand a small squeeze. “Where to?” she asked brightly; now that she was free from the task of guarding Leo, she could relax. “What is it?”

She was quite curious, but she knew that if he wanted to surprise her, he wouldn’t spoil it until it was upon her. So she resigned herself to just following him until they reached the destination he had in mind.

Palladia remained silent after the meeting's conclusion. She kept an amicable smile on her face, inviting, yet making no attempt to actually invite people to speak. She acknowledged the people that spoke to her and refrained from responding save for a gesture towards Andre, which indicated she would speak with him later when they were in more familiar company. Despite having 'allied' with the Dragonheart, she had no intention of broadcasting her movements to them and that meant she wanted to keep Andre's journey under the radar.

It was only after Leo had returned that she beckoned her retainers to 'escort' her back to her carriage. The extensive nature of the Dragonheart's information network was something she hoped Yowa had taken note of, ideally, their own network of spies and informants would stand on a similar footing someday, eventually, even exceeding.

Since they would be traveling with the Dragonheart heir for the foreseeable future, Palladia decided to make small talk; commenting on Leo's decision.

"A bold decision to leave your retainers behind, don't you think they should be involved in something of this magnitude?"

O, Ancient demon.. Do not take human kin lightly.. Although I agree that destruction is a part of creation.. I will need humans for lord's goals" said Jackal and took a deep breath, a bit tired. "Rhd, tell me.. Is there something that you are afraid of? It can be anything really." he asked her.

"Of course they have to, but there are other important matters, I want them to keep an eye on things here and also I promised Nis that I will leave him and Taylor alone for a while" he chuckled as he thought about it then he got slightly more serious.
"I trust those two, they are unpolished, but they are still diamonds, that I hope will shine brightly under me. After they are done here, they will join me, when I gonna need them the most" he explained to Tia. "Now.. Do you trust someone Lady Palladia, from the very bottom of your heart?"

Nis bringed Tay to the lake in Dragonhearts garden, as Leo told him it was the most beautiful place in the palace.. And he was right, rays of the sun were dazzling in a crystal clean water, making it look like a diamond and great number of flowers were groung there with hundreds of interesting colours. There was a flower a bit different from the rest, like a flame, it had red-orange-yellow colours and seemed to give a light of his own despite of the light of the sun. Nis picked the flower, that was warm in his hands and put it in Taylors hair.
"Its called a phoenix flower, back in my home there were a lot of them.. There is that legend, you see..." he turned around, nit to show Tay his blush on the face and continued. "That when boy gives it to a girl.. It connects their lifes forever.. Even in the second life.." he said shyly. "I just wanted to say that emm..."

Taylor looked around the garden in awe. The bright shocks of flowers seemed to glimmer in the sun, the light of its rays dappling the ground in leafy shadows. Birdsong filled the air in symphony with the low buzz of insect wings. Rainbows formed in the mist sprayed up by a pair of small waterfalls that tumbled into the pond. The girl could hardly believe the breathtaking beauty around her, and she was still taking it in when she felt a light touch brush her hair back from her ear. She blinked in surprise, turning to Nis, as her cheeks took on a delicate shade of pink. Flustered, she reached up a hand to touch the petals of the flower in her hair. “Nis, I... it’s beautiful, thank you...” Blushing harder, she looked away to hide it, but shyly reached for the elf’s hand.
