Battle at the Amusement Park! Dean Vs. Brian!

Tailon

Gryffindork
Bright light flooded the darkness in Nimbasa City as night fell over its famous amusement park. Small Pokemon battles had begun to spring up in a few flattened areas in the shadow of the enormous Ferris wheel, and a young man with rust colored hair had just arrived. An enormous Honchkrow hovered above him, fluttering his black jacket from the downdraft. Dust swirled slightly around his canvas shoes and blue jeans as he surveyed the immediate area, looking for a worthy opponent. It came to his attention that most of the people battling here didn’t battle often, or particularly well.

Dean Hale brushed some of the dust from his grey t-shirt as he continued looking around. Just within his peripheral vision, something caught his eye; a small pillar of flame rising from the head of a nearby Infernape. The Flame Pokemon was unlike any Dean had seen before, its fur a golden color where it should have been brown. Fascinated, Dean slowly approached the Infernape and its trainer.
“ ‘Scuse me,” he said to the other trainer, tapping him on the shoulder, “Is this your Infernape? Would you mind telling why his fur is that color?”

After a good day of training, it was time for play. As Brian was in the general vicinity of Nimbasa City, the decision to go to the Nimbasa Amusement Park was an easy one. Brian wandered the park with his ever-present companion Axel, an Infernape with gold fur, by his side. Both were munching on some vanilla soft served ice cream they got from one of the venders.

"Not as good as the kind we got in Castelia that one time, but ice cream is ice cream!" Brian mused as he licked the frozen dessert.

"Mhm!" nodded Axel in agreement before biting the bottom of the cone, sucking the ice cream out, and then shoving the whole cone in his mouth.

"Classy." Brian snarked. To the trainer's surprise, he felt someone tap his shoulder. He turned around to see a man with a Honchkrow fluttering over his head.

"Scuse me. Is this your Infernape? Would you mind telling why his fur is that color?" asked the other trainer.

"That's Axel's natural color. He was born that way. A freak of nature just like his trainer!" Brian proudly informed for what seemed like the 9000th time. Not that he was keeping score or anything on how many people asked that question. "By the way, I'm Brian and as I already mentioned, this is Axel. What are your names?" he asked moving his pointer finger from the trainer to the Honchkrow.

"Hmmm, a naturally gold Infernape? I thought they were only brown or pink in nature. This definitely deserves looking into," Dean said, taking a Premier Ball from his belt, "He might even be stronger than normal... Say, how about you and Axel here give me a battle? If you have a full team, well, even better."

The young man dropped the Premier Ball to the ground in front, causing it to bounce high into the air and split open, releasing a torrent of white light that formed a small, dinosaurid Pokemon with a head that looked to be composed mostly of bone as Dean caught the falling red and white ball. The Marowak spun the Thick Club he carried, doing something akin to grinning as he materialized from the light.

"So what do ya say?" Dean asked, himself grinning at the prospect of a battle.

Brian smirked. "I love a good battle. Sure, I'll be happy to take you on!" he agreed eagerly. "Have at 'em Axel!"

"Right off the bat, eh? This should be fun!" the Infernape cheered jumping onto the field, the flame on his head flaring with excitement.

"Start us off with Flame Wheel Axel!" called Brian getting the match underway. The monkey's flame blazed even larger living Axel up to his species classification of Flame Pokemon. He then curled up into a ball and power rolled at the opposing Marowak. Brian watched with anticipation waiting to see how Dean would respond.

"I love a good battle. Sure, I'll be happy to take you on!" he agreed eagerly. "Have at 'em Axel!"
Dean's opponent sent the golden Infernape to battle first, launching a powerful Flame Wheel towards Wade.

"Let's rock then!" Dean called back, "Wade, Detect, then Bone Club followed by Bonemerang!"

The Marowak's eyes flashed white as it mentally scanned the incoming attack for the best angle, the leaped aside moments before it struck, aiming a powerful strike with his Thick Club at the Infernape's side, then jumping backward and throwing it at the Infernape with great force.

The Marrowak detected Axel's movement allowing him to dodge the Flame Wheel at the last second. The Bone Keeper Pokemon then countered with a Bone Club to Axel's side causing the monkey to yell in pain as he fell to the ground.

"Axel! Double Team now!" Brian called having heard Dean give a follow up command for Bonemerang. Wade threw his Thick Club leaving the Infernape little time to produce multiple copies of himself. The moment Axel picked himself up he split into five identical Infernapes which was quickly reduced to four as the bone club tore threw one of the copies.

"Alright! Use Calm Mind, then Flamethrower!" commanded Brian. The four monkeys closed their eyes as if going into a meditative trance. When they opened their eyes, each replica blasted the Bone Keeper Pokemon from all sides with long tongues of fire.

While the Bone Club landed its mark, Axel quickly faded into several copies, surrounding Wade to launch a mighty stream of fire at the Marowak, forcing him toward the center of the circle of Infernapes.

"Earthquake, then Swords Dance!" Dean called out to the Marowak, who immediately spun his club around himself, deflecting the flames momentarily so he could slam it into the ground, sending a powerful shockwave through the battlefield, then used the shaking to cover the boost in strength accompanied by his club growing heavier and purple.

"Now, hit 'im with Stone Edge!" came Dean's command as Wade charged forward, swinging upward with his club in order to send sharp stones flying upward from the ground.

Wade slammed the ground with his Thick Club causing intense tremors. The Marowak then swung his club sending numerous sharp rocks at Axel.

"Counter those attacks Axel!" called Brian. The Flame Pokemon braced himself for Earthquake as there was no way for him to avoid it. When the Earthquake ended, Axel charged at Wade allowing himself to get bashed and cut by the Stone Edge. All the injuries he sustained were being channeled into his feet for a powerful kick. Once he was close enough the monkey swung his glowing foot at the Bone Keeper Pokemon's head.

"Great work! Now get distance and use Hidden Power and Slack Off!" Brian commanded. Axel used the momentum from his last attack to push himself away from his opponent. The Infernape held his hands out in front of himself creating two pale blue balls of energy. He then turned his hands in a clockwise direction creating a dozen of these orbs which remained suspended in air. The energy then took a solid shape as balls of ice which Axel launched at Wade by quickly uncrossing his arms. Hopefully this attack would keep the Marowak busy while Axel sat on the ground to recover some of his lost strength.

Axel's kick smashed Wade into the ground, though he quickly recovered, remaining relatively undamaged so far. However, the Flame Pokemon took the opportunity to launch an Ice Type Hidden Power, which bashed the Marowak super effectively. Wade attempted to make a final stand, but couldn't battle any longer, falling to the ground.

Dean withdrew the Bone Keeper Pokemon, thanking him for a job well done. "An Ice Type attack from an Infernape, never expected that," Dean called across the field, "your Axel's even better than I thought he would be, so I'll just have to step up my game!"

Dean reached into his jacket, and withdrew a camouflage patterned Safari Ball from it, enlarged it, and tossed it toward the field, where it exploded open to reveal an enormous, bull-like Pokemon with three tails. "Bartholomew here may be a Normal type, but I think he can put up more than enough of a fight! Use Zen Headbutt!" Dean called out, sending the powerful Tauros charging with a pink glow across the top of his skull.

Brian grinned at the complement paid to Axel. "Yeah, I was pretty surprised too when I taught Axel Hidden Power and it manifested as an Ice-type. We call it our secret weapon." explained the trainer. But now wasn't the time to get complacent. Dean was ready for round two, sending out a strong looking Tauros.

"Bartholomew here may be a Normal type, but I think he can put up more than enough of a fight! Use Zen Headbutt!" commanded Dean.

"Stand your ground and get ready for Close Combat Axel!" Brian called knowing the risks of what he was asking. The monkey stood firm with his legs evenly spaced and his arms out ready for impact as the Wild Bull Pokemon charged at him. Bartholomew struck hard knocking the wind out of Axel and pushing him back several feet. A golden glow erupted around the Infernape giving the appearance of a roaring flame. Even with Blaze activated, Axel stuck to his commands and began beating on the Tauros with a series of punches and kicks.

Bartholomew's attack connected, however the Infernape began raining super effective strikes on the Wild Bull, the last strike forcing him backwards several feet. The Tauros tossed his head, snorting loudly and slamming the ground with his hind hooves, sending a powerful quake through the arena.

"Good, Bartholomew, use Zen Headbutt again, then Rest!"

The Tauros charged forward once more, far greater in power than the first time, and upon coming to a stop fell asleep on the spot, glowing with a light pink aura as his wounds healed.

Axel fell to one knee thanks to the tremors of Earthquake panting heavily from exhaustion. He knew his part in battle was over. The monkey looked up to face his opponent one more time only to see the rampaging bull coming right for him with another super-effective hit.

"Fuck me." sighed Axel seconds before getting rammed by Bartholomew's attack. The Flame Pokemon was knocked back to Brian's feet unconscious.

"You did great Axel. Rest now." Brian congratulated dragging his fainted partner to the side where he wouldn't be in the way of the battle. The trainer frowned slightly noticing the Wild Bull Pokemon resting undoing all of Axel's previous damage to it. At the same time though Bartholomew was vulnerable to retaliation. It was the perfect opportunity for the newest member of the team to get some experience.

"Alright Darmanitan! You're up!" called Brian summoning a bulky red ape with large thick arms, flaming eyebrows, and a wide toothed grin from his Ultra Ball. The Blazing Pokemon began shouting and pounding his fists wildly to announce his presence.

"Darmanitan! Use Work Up followed by Fire Punch!" Brian commanded. The fire ape's hollers and howls became louder as he beat his chest and jumped up and down. After succeeding in riling himself up, Darmanitan ignited his fist and charged at the sleeping Tauros.

Brian's next Pokemon was a Darmanitan, which immediately began working itself up for a fight. Brian ordered a Fire Punch, sending the ape-like Pokemon careening toward Bartholomew, fist alight. The Blazing Pokemon smashed its powerful fist into the Wild Bull Pokemon's hard skull.

Bartholomew's eyes snapped open, and Dean called out to the Tauros, "Bartholomew, use Rain Dance!" The Wild Bull immediately formed a blue ball of energy, launching it upwards with a toss of his head in an attempt to force the opponent awayin order to cause a sudden rain over the battlefield.

"Now Surf!" Dean called. With a tremendous moo, the Wild Bull stomped on the ground, suddenly generating an enormous torrent of water, which moved forward in a wave to strike the Fire Type.

Bartholomew awakened looking as irritable as ever. To make matters worse, Dean commanded a Rain Dance-Surf combo. Brian and Darmanitan looked at the towering wall of water with expressions that could easily be translated into 'Oh crap!' The Blazing Pokemon through his arms over his head, though that offered little protection when the tidal wave came crashing down on him. When the water washed away steam was rising from the ape's fur from where some of the water had evaporated from Darmanitan's high body temperature.

"Darmanitan! Use Swagger followed by Hammer Arm!" called Brian through the downpour. Darmanitan bared his fangs and started beating his chest in a show of dominance. He howled at the Tauros and raved his arms as if saying 'I'm better than you so leave my territory.' With the Wild Bull Pokemon hopefully now thoroughly confused, the ape ran in wildly swinging his thick arms.

Tailon

Gryffindork
Confused by Darmanitan's Swagger, Bartholomew was unable to dodge the incoming Hammer Arm. With one final burst of rage, the Wild Bull Pokemon charged forward recklessly, doing his best to strike the opponent before the strain of the Take Down attack knocked him out cold.

"Bartholomew..." Dean sighed, returning him to his Safari Ball, and taking a standard Poke Ball from his jacket, "Vito, you're on!" he called, throwing the ball into the arena, where it cracked open, sending a bright white light into the sky, where it solidified into an enormous, dark purple bird, wings spread wide.

"Vito, start off with Night Slash!" Dean called to the Honchkrow, which nodded, then fell into a steep dive, his wings gaining a dark purple glow, before he spread them, slashing at the Darmanitan.

Bartholomew was successfully confused, but that didn't stop the Wild Bull Pokemon from going on on last rampage. With the last of his strength, the Tauros charged into Darmanitan knocking the wind out of the fire ape. In a puff of smoke Darmanitan was reduced to a grey statue with reduced arms and the flames on his eyebrows extinguished.

"Oh boy." Brian sighed. He was already aware of Darmanitan's Zen Mode and he knew this meant the Blazing Pokemon was beginning to wear out. "Hang in there Darmanitan!" encouraged the trainer.

Dean quickly switched out Bartholomew and sent out a Honchkrow. "Vito, start off with Night Slash!" commanded Dean. A dark aura surrounded the Big Boss Pokemon's wing and with one swipe an arc of darkness was sent out at Darmanitan. The ape roared in pain as the attack hit.

"You can do it Darmanitan! Start an Uproar!" Brian called enthusiastically. Even in Zen Mode, the Blazing Pokemon was as noisy as ever screaming loud bellows that echoed all around Nimbasa Amusement Park.

Tailon

"Vito! Fly out of range of the sound, then use Dark Pulse!" Dean shouted over the din of Darmanitan's attack. Vito took wing, flying high enough that he was a mere speck as the first wave of sound flew from the Blazing Pokemon's body, then dove down at enormous speed, aiming his body at the opponent. The Honchkrow endured another blast of sound as he flew away from the Darmanitan, then opened his own mouth and launched a powerful wave of pure darkness.

"Now Roost off a bit of damage!" Dean called out. Vito landed, recovering a bit from the assault of sound before the next wave struck him.

Darmanitan's yelling became more labored and weakened after taking the Dark Pulse. The ape's Uproar ended as the rain also slowed to a halt while Vito rested off any damage the attack might have caused.

"Darmanitan! Boost your power with another Work Up and use Incinerate!" Brian called. The Blazing Pokemon grunted and bounced around to psyche himself up. He then shot a stream of fire at the Honchkrow.

Tailon

Gryffindork
"Vito! Use Payback!" Dean roared as the massive Honchkrow took off, several patches of its feathers singed from the Darmanitan's boosted Incinerate. Vito began to corkscrew before spreading his now glowing wings at the last second, lashing out with the anger he felt from being attacked.

"Now Sky Attack!" Dean called out. Vito flew back, charging up a bright light around himself, then dove down at tremendous speeds in hopes of striking the Daruma ape.

Psycho Monkey

Dean ordered a brutal assault on Darmanitan starting with a powerful Payback that left the ape in a daze. Vito then started charging Sky Attack which would no doubt defeat the Blazing Pokemon.

"Darmanitan! Use Swagger!" Brian called. Darmanitan did a series of antagonizing grunts and yells before the Honchkrow dive bombed him. Brian wasn't sure yet if the tactic had been successful, but there was only one way to find out. He returned Darmanitan and threw another Pokeball to the field. Materializing in a flash of light was a large stone grey pterosaur with a long mouth filled with razor sharp teeth.

"Let's make this an aerial battle! Aerodactyl! Start off with Aerial Ace, then Iron Tail!" commanded the trainer. The prehistoric Pokemon tore through the air, gliding side to side, then tackling Vito in the crow's blind spot. Aerodactyl's tail then turned silver as he swung it at the Honchkrow.

Tailon

Gryffindork
Darmanitan's Swagger combined with Vito's increased confidence from defeating it brought a tremendous boost to his physical power, at the cost of confusing him. The Big Boss Pokemon flapped around erratically as Brian's Aerodactyl appeared and slammed into Vito, undodgeable even under normal circumstances, then struck him with a tail like iron, knocking him away.

Vito snapped out of his confusion, horribly weakened by the two powerful attacks. "Vito, one last attack, use Payback, again!"

The Honchkrow flapped once, then dropped down and struck at the Aerodactly before collapsing from his injuries. Dean called him back, and tossed another Safari Ball, releasing a tremendous Scizor, larger than average like her teammate. "Kay, start with Tailwind, then Iron Head!"

The Scizor swung her arms forward, generating a powerful wind from seeming nowhere, and opened her wings, sending her gliding into the air on the Tailwind, and aimed herself at the opponent, her head glowing brightly silver.

Vito went down after giving one final strong hit to Aerodactyl. Replacing it on the field was a Scizor, noticeably female by the shape of her abdomen, but a lot taller than the norm. The Pincer Pokemon shot up into the air like a missile thanks to the Tailwind trailing behind her.

"Aerodactyl! Take the hit and counter with Fire Fang!" Brian commanded taking advantage of the opponent's double weakness. The King of the Skies complied by puffing out his robust chest allowing the steel mantis to land her attack. The impact knocked the wind out of Aerodactyl, momentarily stunning him and causing him to stagger midair, but as soon as the Fossil Pokemon was able to catch his breath, he snapped at the Scizor with flaming jaws.

Gryffindork
"Kay, use Protect!" Dean called past the blustering winds, prompting the massive Scizor to cover herself entirely in a translucent green barrier, blocking the Aerodactyl's flaming jaws.

"Now Metal Claw!" Kay's pincers glowed with a silver light as she swung them powerfully at the fossil Pokemon.

Aerodactyl gnawed on the barrier for a few seconds trying to fruitlessly bite Kay before giving up.

"Now Metal Claw!" Dean called from below.

"Block the attack with Steel Wing Aerodactyl!" countered Brian. The Fossil Pokemon's wings turned silver before he flapped them into Kay's pincers sending a metallic ring throughout the area.

"Now use Sky Drop!" Aerodactyl grabbed Kay with his talons and flew up several meters into the air. The prehistoric predator gazed down at his prey before releasing her to plummet back to the ground.

Tailon

Gryffindork
Aerodactyl had caught Kay's attack and slammed her into the ground with its retaliatory Sky Drop. She stood back up, shaking off the moderately effective attack. "Kay, Vacuum Wave, then Tailwind into Iron Head again!"

The massive Scizor slashed at the air, creating a pulse of wind toward her opponent, and a powerful wind at her back, sending her flying at Aerodactyl once again, head glowing with a silvery coating of fresh metal.

The burst of air caused by Kay's Vacuum Wave hit Aerodactyl faster than he could react to it making him slightly dizzy. The Fossil Pokemon shook it off at his Trainer's command.

"Aerodactyl! Dodge with Agility and Fly!" Brian called. The King of the Skies relaxed his muscles then flapped his wings hard to rocket higher in the sky. Kay's head clipped Aerodactyl's talons as he ascended causing him to screech. The prehistoric predator did a midair back-flip and corkscrew to make his descent on top of the Pincer Pokemon.

"Always the show off." remarked Brian at his Pokemon's aerial theatrics.

Kay's opponent boosted its already considerable speed in avoiding her attack, then charged her. "Kay, call another Tailwind, then Swords Dance and Steel Wing!"

The Scizor swung an arm, sending her flying off out of the way of Aerodactyl's attack, then back around, claws glowing purple and wings shining with a coat of hardened Steel.

Aerodactyl missed his target then was slashed from behind with her metallic wings. The pterosaur shrieked in pain and started panting. He had put up a good fight but this was it. Brian had to make these last moves count.

"Aerodactyl! Use Rock Slide!" called the Trainer. The Fossil Pokemon let out a mighty screech as he slammed his feet to the ground. The ground beneath his talons shattered apart sending a wave of stones of all sizes at Kay. With the metallic mantis hopefully distracted with that...

"Now Fire Fang!" Brian followed up. Aerodactyl flapped his wings a few times to muster up the energy to get back in the air and fly through his own rock storm at the Scizor with his mouth ablaze.

Tailon

Gryffindork
"FLASH CANNON!" Dean roared past the sound of stone slamming against the ground. Large rocks struck and deflected off of Kay's heavy armoring as she raised both arms, glowing with a steely light as the Aerodactyl charged, flames raging from its tremendous maw.

Kay slammed her claws together, loosing the charged light in a powerful, concentrated blast just before the Aerodactyl reached her, the flames from its mouth dealing severe damage, sending her crashing into the earth.

"Return, Kay." Dean said, calling the metal mantis back into her Safari Ball, and taking a basic Poke Ball from his belt, "Cleo." he said as he opened it, releasing the familiar bright light, which formed a smallish bipedal canine, mostly blue with some dark grey and yellow fur.

Aerodactyl pushed through Kay's Flash Canon and with the last of his strength bit her. Both Pokemon then fell to the ground unconscious.

"You did great Aerodactyl. Return!" Brian said recalling the prehistoric beast as Dean did the same with his Scizor. The other Trainer threw down a Pokeball releasing a tall bipedal canine Pokemon with mostly blue and black fur save for cream colored fur on its chest. It was a Pokemon Brian recognized well.

"This should be interesting. You're up Lucario!" Brian called summoning a Pokemon that looked almost exactly similar to his female counterpart.

"Lucario! Start off with Swords Dance, then use Bone Rush!" he commanded. The Aura Pokemon jumped side to side to raise his attack. He then slammed his palm to the ground and pulled out a pile of dirt that was held together and shaped like a bone by aura. Lucario ran at Cleo and swung his makeshift bone at her.

Tailon

Gryffindork
"Detect! Then Extremespeed into Force Palm!" Dean commanded as the opposing Lucario charged in with Bone Rush.

Cleo closed her eyes and raised both arms, her right only out to the elbow of her left. In the instant before the other Lucario struck, her eyes snapped opened, flashing with a bright blue light and she stepped to the side, allowing the opponent's momentum to carry him. Stopping behind him, she dashed forward with tremendous speed, striking at his back with the side of one paw before slamming the other palm at the same spot, glowing with a blue energy.

"Feint!" yelled Brian quickly when Dean called for Detect. Lucario concentrated on Cleo's aura trying to anticipate where she was going to dodge to. The moment the female Lucario made her move, Brian's Aura Pokemon made his. Thanks to her use of Extreme Speed however, the canine missed his target and was struck from behind with Force Palm.

"Grab her arm and counter with your own Force Palm!" Brian called. He noticed the two Lucarios were similar height meaning their arms lengths should be the same too. Lucario grabbed at Cleo's wrist as he thrust his free aura-charged paw forward.

"Cleo! Use Me First, then Calm Mind and Aura Sphere!" Dean called to his Lucario.

Anticipating her opponent's strike, Cleo struck first with her own Force Palm, taking the other Lucario's in return. She leaped back, away from Brian's Lucario, and stopped to meditate momentarily, a mild glow of Aura surrounding her.

Opening her eyes again, Cleo stepped back into her fighting stance, then spun quickly around, forming a sphere of energy in one paw, which she launched forward with a thrust of both as she faced her opponent once again, the Aura Sphere moving quickly toward him with unflinching accuracy.

"Lucario! Use Me First!" Brian called. The canine held his hands one over the other creating his own Aura Sphere which he launched at Cleo's. The two attacks collided midair erupting in an explosion of energy.

"Now use Screech and Close Combat!" Brian followed up taking advantage of the chaos. The Aura Pokemon let out a high pitched howl that would hopefully knock Cleo off guard. He then ran at her and started attacking her with open palm strikes.

"Cleo, use Detect, then back off with Quick Attack and use Earthquake!" Dean called to his Pokemon.

Cleo shook off the disorientation from Screech, and just barely sidestepped the other Lucario's oncoming attack. In a flash of white light, she streaked back several feet, then stomped one foot on the ground, causing it to shake and crack.

"Lucario! Close the distance with Extreme Speed and then use Low Kick!" Brian called over the shaking. The Aura Pokemon ran through the tremors at top speed ignoring the damage he was taking. When he was close enough to Cleo, Lucario crouched and swept his feet under her legs.

"Now Brick Break!" Brian followed up. With Cleo now hopefully off balance, Lucario slammed his palm into her chest to knock her to the ground.

"Cleo! Use Detect!" Dean ordered. The Lucario jumped up, causing the Earthquake to stop abruptly, but avoiding her opponent's Low Kick. However, as she landed she was struck by the incoming Brick Break, which knocked her backward several feet.

"We've got this Cleo, use Extremespeed and Close Combat!" Dean called.
Suddenly glowing with the light of Extremespeed, Cleo leapt up and charged, striking at the other Lucario's stomach with one paw, then attacking with a vicious flury of blows at an extreme close range, before taking several steps back, panting somewhat from the damage and effort she was accumulating.

"Lucario! Counter with your own Close Combat!" Brian called. The Aura Pokemon parried a few of Cleo's attacks while still taking others. At the same time he was delivering a series of punches, kicks, and palm strikes of his own. The female Lucario was the first to pull back, if only to give Brian's Pokemon room to collapse.

"You did great Lucario! Take a rest!" said the Trainer calling Lucario back to his Pokeball. "Cleo's pretty tough." he complemented. Brian and Dean were now even two Pokemon each, but with Cleo looking worn out with her match against Lucario, Brian was certain he could tip the scales.

"You're up Piloswine!" he called throwing a Great Ball. A wooly boar with a tall hump, two long tusks, and covered in coarse brown fur appeared in a flash of light. "Start us with Hail and then use Earthquake!" With a snort the Swine Pokemon tilted his head to the sky summoning a storm of ice and snow which perfectly obscured him thanks to his Snow Cloak Ability. Now that Piloswine felt safe from harm, he reared back on his hind legs and slammed his front legs to the ground sending tremors through the park once again.

"Alright Cleo, first use Magnet Rise, then Sunny Day, Aura Sphere and Drain Punch!" Dean ordered, Cleo jumping up high and beginning to hover as she was held in the air by powerful electromagnetism, avoiding the opponent's Earthquake.

Still in mid-air, Cleo launched a glowing orb high into the air, dissipating the Hail and causing the sunlight to grow extremely bright. With the Hail gone and a clear shot, the Lucario formed a ball of pure Aura and launched it forward, aimed perfectly at the Piloswine, and threw herself after it, her paw glowing with green energy.

"Pilowine! Use Protect!" Brian called. The Swine Pokemon blasted the ground with ice, then jerked his head upward creating a wall between him and Cleo. Aura Sphere hit the wall cracking it followed by the Lucario's punch shattering it but leaving Piloswine without a scratch.

"Now! Attack with Super Power!" Brian followed up. Piloswine grunted as every muscle in his body tensed and bulked. The mammoth boar then lunged at Cleo putting every ounce of power he had into his attack.
