Ask to Join Alien: Revelations

The Mars laboratories were well known for performing odd experiments, but no one truly expected this to be a breeding ground for the now vibrant xenomorph species.
The work being done on the station, is an attempt to make the aliens more human-like, as well as passive, and independent.
But the station had recently received a threat.
A threat from her.
*Kill all the xenomorphs, before I do* was the entirety of the message from the clone of Ellen Ripley.
And today, the base was getting ready for any kind of assault. Beefing up security and advancing their equipment, positive no one would breach their defenses.

Chief Scientist Anthony Jermaine marveled at what he considered to be a beauty before him. She was a xenomorph, and their first success.
A passive, independent, female xenomorph.

Joseph walked threw the halls of the base. He made sure everything was safe making sure that nothing was disturbed. Last thing he needed was something to go wrong. He walked into the lab where one of the scientists were at. He looked at the beast on the other side of a mirror. " Ugly fucker." He said as he looked at the Xenomorph.

"Wrong." The scientist replied as he gestured through the glass at the rather small xeno. "She's one of a kind. Independent. Passive. And extremely intelligent." He said as he stroked his chin thoughtfully. "She has the mindset of a 5 year old girl. Excitable, curious and imaginative." He looked at Joseph at this point. "To put it simply, she's a beautiful specimen."
The xenomorph inside of the room beyond the glass, tilted her head slightly at said glass, probably wondering what the two men were saying.
"I'm sorry, you are?" The scientist asked Joseph.

Sargent Joseph Stark." he said as he looked at the man. " I was transferred here a week ago." He said as he smiled at the scientist. He then looked at the Xenomorph. " you clearly have never been around a five year old girl before... just wait until she get's to her teenage years." He said as he wondered what it might be thinking.

"Ah. You're new." Jermaine smirked as his eyes narrowed, looking the Sergeant up and down, visually studying him and sizing him up.
"Tell me, Sergeant. Have you ever killed a xenomorph? Do you fear them?"

A man was standing in the room with the two - a soldier, thinking solitarily. This was John Gulmin, security guard who had recently been transfered to this station. He... didn't like it here. Especially with that THING in the cage across from him.
So instead, he was thinking about a book he was writing. Happy thoughts.

Not receiving an immediate reply, Jermaine turned to John.
"Gulmin. Enter the room xenomorph KB-753 is in." He ordered, gesturing towards the small xeno behind the glass in the large, empty white room. Being the chief scientist, Jermaine had the kind of authority to order something like that.

"Uh... what?!" John said, freaked out at the order he has just spontaneously received. "Uh... y-yes, sir." John took out his gun, slowly entering the room. He had heard about what happened to people who encountered xenomorphs. He had been safe before. He'd still be safe... right?

Quickly, Jermaine snatched the weapon away. "No weapons. I don't want the specimen damaged." He said, before sealing the door behind Gulmin.
The xeno remained near the window, but her attention now on Gulmin as she cocked her head curiously at her.
"If I'm correct, KB-753 will be passive in this situation." Jermaine stated to Stark, watching the scene intently.

Stark looks back at the scientist he acknowledged the other guard in the room before talking. " No I have not." He said before looking back at it. " according to reports these things went extinct around more than two hundred years ago." He said. " Hell the incident onboard the Auriga involved clones not the real thing." He said. " Which I presume this is a clone of some other kind." He said.

"It's a long story, really." Jermaine replied. "The Auriga accidentally sent us a Queen, and from there, we were able to grow. The Auriga was destroyed two years ago, and we've continued their work. You'd be surprised with how many xenomorphs we've engineered." He smiled as the xenomorph known as KB-753 moved cautiously towards Gulmin, her only experience with humans was receiving food from one.
"We still have normal xenomorphs here, which we call 'Xeno C's', for 'xenomorph classic'. They are used as a control group when cross-engineering and/or breeding new species of xenomorph."

He nodded. " And what makes you think these things will be so complacent." He said. " Wild animals can't be controlled. Who knows how long it took our ancestors to domesticate dogs." He said. He took a few steps back from the glass. " So Doctor and John where are you both from?" He asked

"The xenomorphs here are quite different from dogs, Sergeant." Jermaine replied casually. "Capable of adapting to virtually anything within hours and able to be cross engineered with quite literally anything sentient, we could have over tens of thousands of xenomorph breeds. We have the technology to maintain them and keep them contained." He ignored Stark's question as he stroked his chin in thought again. "As long as Gulmin in there treats KB-753 with kindness, she shouldn't be provoked into activating her natural killer instincts. This is why I took his weapon before he entered." He told Stark.

" Well as soon as it tries anything funny I'm going to put it down." Stark said. " I don't have the same faith you do in these things. Besides technology can be faulty at times." He said. " I prefer not to be in a blood bath." He said. His hand gently grazed over his scar. 'Not again.' He thought.

Daniel was walking through the corridors of the facility as he passed the room Jermaine and the others were in, he stopped and peeked in through the door, curious about the experiment going on inside. He knocked on the doorway of the room . "Doctor, mind if I come in?" He asked as he observed the Xenomorph out of the corner of his eye.

"I certainly wouldn't allow it!" Jermaine gasped at Stark, suddenly defensive. "This xeno is the result of three years of hard work, research, and sacrifice!"
He took no notice of the newcomer, Daniel, as he was too flabbergasted at Stark's comment.

Daniel just strolled in and put his hands in the pockets of his pants. "Listen, if you two could have a knife fight later, that would be awesome. And stark, if you want to deal with the Xeno then take this tranquilizer gun in case things go wrong." Daniel said as he handed what looked like a pistol to Stark. "And calm down for Christ sake, you'll spook the specimene, I may be a medic but I know Xenomorph biology. As you become more stressed it can pick up on your scent, so they can see us through the walls and shit. So calm. Down." Daniel added.

Jermaine turned to Daniel, a vein on his temple throbbing. "You, be quiet. You don't know anything about KB-753. She is the first of her kind. A new species of xenomorph." He turned back to the glass as a passion returned to his voice. "Her potential is exponential. She is the closest thing to human we've ever made of a xenomorph. I'm thinking of naming her Janice."

"Holy shit this guy is crazy" He thought as he listened to the scientist. "Listen, I understand she is different, but that doesn't mean her first contact with humans for an extended period of time could end up being a disaster!" Daniel said trying to keep his cool.

Stark nodded silently agreeing with the medic. "So Professor." He said. " What can you tell us about it." He said. He wanted to know everything he could about it before it could do anything to harm them." He kept his eyes on it and on the man inside of there. His hand gently stroke his gun's handle as if to get ready for an attack.

"Oh, she's very unique." Jermaine replied, seemingly like a broken record about his compliments of the xenomorph.
"She can develop and learn at a faster pace than an average human. She can already understand basic oral interpretation, being only 2 months old." He continued as he straightened his glasses. "She's engineered to act independently without a queen. She displays no desire to inflict violence. Several tests have confirmed that she likes to play with dolls and paint, though her paintings aren't good at all, as to be expected."

"You're free to dock." The voice buzzed in through the comm link aboard the Oblivion, It's only occupant a mercenary named Desmond Terryn. Without uttering a word in reply, he moved the Oblivion forward to dock in the docking bay of the xeno station aboard Mars.

Stark recived a message on his coms. " Understood." He said. " I'll be back." He said as he walked by them he stopped and simply said. " Don't let your hubris blind you." He said as he walked away. He headed towards the dock to after he received a message about some mercenaries that docked. " Hopefully they aren't going to try and screw us over.' He thought.

"Well, keep in mind, Xenomorphs are crafty little fuckers, there are Xenomorphs that have tricked people into doing things, like being exposed to facehuggers." Daniel said with a shiver going up his spine. "Listen, I recommend getting that guy out of there. I need to eat anyway, I'm supposed to be on break. Later." Daniel explained as he walked out the door and to the mess hall.

Desmond stepped from the Oblivion as he closed the hatch behind him, now awaiting for someone to retrieve him. He remembered back to the reason he'd been hired.

Daniel entered the mess hall and grabbed a Salmon musubi (Japanese Rice roll. Like sushi) he had saved in a mini fridge and began to chomp down on the ball of rice, seaweed and salmon. His face was akin to what an anime characters face looks like sometimes. ( :3 ).

Stark walked to the loading docks and saw the man who walked out of the ship. " You must be Mr. Desmond." He said as he looked at the man. " I'm Stark fallow me to your quarters."

Desmond furrowed his brow at Stark. "I'm not here to stay long." He said, narrowing his eyes. "I don't need 'quarters'." With that, he unholstered his pistol, seeming as though he were about to draw it, but instead, pulled out a dirty old handkerchief with it, and began to clean the weapon.

"She doesn't like you. You don't have food." Jermaine stated as KB-753 hissed lightly at Gulmin. "In other words, leave. You aren't doing anything to entertain her, you buffoon. Just get out, now." The scientist ordered

Gulmin sighed with relief, exiting the room. Thank god. The more time I spend on the side of the glass that creepy bitch ISN'T on, the better. John closed the door securely, grabbing his gun and re-holstering it.

As Daniel finished his lunch break he returned to the medbay to read up on Xenomorph biology. He read on about the Xenomorph clones, well, the little information he could access about them. "To beat your enemy and treat the wounds they inflict, you must know your enemy." Daniel said to himself. For all he cared the only reason he took the job of working on here is to learn about Xenomorphs and because it payed well.

"Look Truthfully I don't care." Stark said as he looked at the man. " I just have orders to escort you wherever." He said as he looked at the Merc. He didn't quite like the man but he didn't have a choice in the matter.

"Take me to the xenomorphs." He replied calmly. "I want to see them."

"An absolute beauty, is she not?" Jermaine asked, before the door slid open and another scientist walked in, halting before Jermaine and Gulmin. "Jermaine! What have I told you about Alice? Get out!" The scientist ordered, and Jermaine hesitated, before leaving with a huff. The scientist narrowed his eyes at Gulmin. "You have a xeno fetish too, or what?" He asked.
Gulmin could recognize this man as the director of the entire station. Doctor Anthony Corosomes.

Stark nodded. " Fallow me." He said as he headed towards where the Xenos where. " So what's the craziest thing you've seen out there?" He asked as he decided to try and make conversation with the man.

"I, uh... I'm paid to stand here, sir." John said, snapping to attention. "It's my shift here, and I don't get off for another fourteen minutes... I am a security guard."

"Ah. Well, get off early, then. We need to perform some tests on Alice here." Corosomes replied, before hesitating. "Jermaine didn't have you do anything to her, did he?" He asked, eyes narrowing again.

"Instantaneous super nova in the zulu sector." The mercenary replied as he followed Stark.

"He, uh... I think he tried to feed me to it." Gulmin said nervously. "He ordered me to enter unarmed and defenseless. Kinda gotta obey the orders of my superior... I'll go now." Gulmin said, putting his helmet on and leaving. He said a quiet "thank you" as he left. He REALLY hated working the shift in that room...

Daniel finished reading the bit of information he could scrap up about the Xenos and shut off his computer in his tiny office that doubled as his bedroom if things got crazy, or he stayed up late reading or drinking. He then began walking to his quarters, seeing as his shift was over. As he began entering his quarters he saw the newcomer pass by him towards the Xenomorph holding areas. He then stepped in front of Stark. "Hey, who is this?!" Daniel asked slightly panicked.

"Someone you don't want to cross." The mercenary replied as Daniel stopped Stark, halting their progress. "Is there a problem? Because if not, get outta the way. If you do... well, I'm not one to spoil surprises."

Stark gave Daniel a look as if to say that he felt something was wrong about the man. " come on." Stark said as he walked passed the doctor. He reached the room where the Xenos were located. " There you go sir." He said.

The merc made no reply as he furrowed his brow at the rows of xenomorphs in their full-body restraints were located. He walked to the glass, slowly, staring at them. "Never seen them for real... ugly fuckers..." He muttered to himself as one hissed at him, though it went unheard.

"Gee, your a ray of mother fuckin sunshine." Daniel whispered. He then entered his quarters and then chugged a glass of vodka. He then passed out on his bed after an hour of spacing out.
