• A reminder: If you want to ask an RP thread creator if you can join their RP, do so in private - via conversation or profile messages - or via the thread's discussion thread, if one exists. Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

This is clearly stated in our RP forum rules. If you've not read them yet, do so BEFORE posting anything in the RP forums. They may be found here (for Pokémon Role Play) or here (for General Role Play). Remember that the Global Rules of Pokécharms also apply in addition to these rule sets.

Private/Closed A Kalos Seeker

(Its coming hold on haha)
Shinji had dusted himself off, he regained composure again,as Shinji was about to turn his head, his eyes caught the sight of Rose.

"Gwaahh!" As Shinji repeated the same comical sequence from seconds prior.
This time a pokeball had fallen out of his messenger bag.

A Weavile had came out of its pokeball.

"Weav.."and upon watching his trainer on the floor, comically fell on the floor aswell "ile.." the pokemon let out.

"Shinji are you ok?" Shadow had asked, somewhat puzzled.

"Oh,im fine master,my murkrow, not so much, you see we just came back from a battle" , Shinji said, "against a little kid..and his helioptile.." Shinji put his hand on the back of his head and let out a forced laugh.

"Well lets heal you up Murkrow!" Shinji exclaimed, and clutched his hand as if ready for the next challenge
Shinji walked into the pokemon center.

(Im sorry i took control of shadow for a bit i had to use him to introduce my character)

(Wow, I missed a lot. XD. Nice to see new people join us in the RP though!)

"I'm fine," Rose replied, though she was a bit shaken up by it. "Is everyone else okay?"

Cinder nodded, showing that she was fine. She watched as King jumped into his Trainer's arms. The Fire-type smiled as she watched. She looked up at her Trainer and the others, wondering what they were going to do now.

Stop. Stop. just. Stop.

For eff's sake. No out of character discussion belongs in an active RP thread, double posts, a bunch of these posts border on SPAM... yeah. The unnecessary posts are removed - and the next time I see ANYTHING like this, there will be official warnings.

Also. Keep in mind both the RP rules (AT LEAST ONE PARAGRAPH per post unless you're in the middle of an immediate conversation AND NO AUTOING WITHOUT EXPRESS PERMISSION) and the global rules (No double-posting. Use the edit button to shuffle things around your posts). Don't make me visit this thread again.

(( @StellarWind Elsydeon

Ok then, one question. Could you please hint out the specific posts that you aren't fond of? Because when I go back and read all of our out-of-character conversations, the majority are all very appropriate for our RP.

-Telling people when we are going offline so they don't sit there and waste time waiting for a reply

-Asking base rules of the RP for more convenience

-Asking to join in RP so that you don't interrupt other peoples events. (I suppose those could be private conversations, but for the most part it's not a major offense)

As for the spam post - none of us who are officially apart of this role-play have spammed. It was the newer ones who have never role-played at all, and unfortunately I cannot delete them to avoid pissing off moderators.

Just saying, for the most part, I don't see many things that are entirely rule-breaking being posted here. ))

Yeah, that's because the biggest offenders have already been deleted - and yeah, most of those weren't from the major active RPers here - though I've noticed a HELL of a lot of double posting from multiple users around here, some of which are entirely OOC and should NOT exist. The most major issue is the unnecessary OOC blather. A major thing about forum based RPs is that answers don't have to be instantaneous, so you really don't have to tell each other when to expect the next post. You don't need to explain the rules to others personally - others need to read the thread and the RP forum rules because that's what they're for. It's also not your place to point these out - if someone is breaking the rules - report it, and staff will deal with it. That's what we're here for.

Basically. I suggest that if you guys have a lot of out-of-character discussion to do about this RP and a lot of plans etc... open a discussion thread on the Pokemon Role Play Discussion Forum for just this sort of thing - and keep this RP mostly in context. That's what it's for.

Also, we ask in our rules that any requests to join active RPs take place via either a discussion thread or private messages, NOT within the RPs themselves. This was an unwritten rule until recently and was added to avoid confusion. So yeah, next time you see something like that, report it.

That's about it.

(( Okie, we understand ))

"Oh, hey again." Spencer spoke as he turned and saw Shinji.

Fennekins ears lifted as she heard Shinji walk into the pokemon center. She gazed intently at him. He reminded her of Shadow, the other Weavile's trainer.

"So, are you a trainer as well?" He asked the boy, striking conversation. Spencer was curious about the whole 'Mentor' thing - and he wondered how strong Shinji was, considering he was being taught by somebody as strong as Shadow.

Erin nodded and sighed in relief, briefly watching as the weird boy and Shadow made their way into the Pokemon Center.

"Well, those are some interesting characters... Anyways!" Erin clapped her hands with excitement. "I got a random idea! How about everyone meets inside and lets out their Pokemon so they can all get to know each other?" Erin suggested with great enthusiasm. King nodded, agreeing to what was being said.

Rose glanced over at Erin as she spoke. She had been watching Shadow and that new boy talk. When the other girl spoke, she smiled brightly at the idea. Having all of their Pokemon out together sounded like fun. Cinder, Zapper, and Ace would get to make some new friends hopefully. She nodded in agreement with what the other girl said.

"I think that's a great idea, Erin."

Erin grinned at the thought of introducing her own team of Fighting Types.

"Well, lets get going! Our Pokemon can't introduce themselves to everyone out here!" Erin ran inside the Center and excitedly explained what she was talking to Rose about outside. "I got this idea: How about we all introduce our teams so they can all be friends? Rose agreed to do it."

Rose followed after the other girl, Cinder right behind her. The two of them liked the idea of having their Pokemon meet and hopefully become friends. They heard Erin telling the others about her idea of allowing all of their Pokemon to come out of their Poke Balls to each other. She waited to see what the others were going to think about it, while her Fire-type went over to King, already knowing that the Grass-type had agreed to the idea as well.

"I hope they agree too! I can't wait to meet new Pokemon!"

Spencer noticed Erin's idea. He smiled, but sooner turned to disappointment.

"That's a great idea but...Fennekin is all I have...so, I guess I'm done!" He said laughing a bit as Fennekin stands.

He never thought about catching another pokemon - or the priority of doing so hasn't yet crossed his mind. Spencer all of the sudden got lost in his thoughts.

If I did catch another pokemon, what would it be?

What type would it be?

What gender!?

What moves would it have!?

Would I have a close connection!??!?

Spencer snapped himself out of his wave of curiosities. He decided to pay attention to the others, curious of what their pokemon would be.

"Yeah! My teammates are cool! Erin said she is a fighting specialist! Oh hey, Erin's letting the other two out!" King jumped up and down as Erin took out took out a fancy black pokeball (Luxury Ball) in one hand and in the other and a blue pokeball with red indents (Great Ball).

"Meet some new friends, Knight and Bishop!" Erin smiled as she threw the two balls into the air, a small blue jackal appearing from the Luxury Ball and a blue bodied white headed humanoid appearing from the Great Ball on the Center's floor, each looking around. "Knight is a Riolu while Bishop is a Meditite." Erin explained incase they didn't know her Pokemon's species.

"Hello. I am Knight." Knight deadpanned this, looking around with bored eyes. Bishop said nothing, preferring to switch from standing to sitting cross legged while floating.

Shinji entered the pokemon center, with his Weavile close behind,he was a normal looking Weavile but less arrogant than his masters Weavile. He lacked experience and perhaps had evolved to early before his prime as a Sneasel.

He stayed behind his trainer as if the sight of the other Weavile made him very nervous.

Shinji was handing his pokeball over to nurse Joy,and notices Weaviles grip tightening.

"Whats wrong Weave" Shinji asked, "oh masters Weavile?! Thats who we wanna be right, remember? " Shinji told Weavile, with a softness in his eyes.He patted Weavile.

Weavile after noticing his trainer,"getting all softy" with him, pushed his trainers hand of his head and crossed his arms.

Shinji laughed, petted him again. He turned back to nurse Joy and she handed him back his Murkrow back.

Shinji tried to look really cool putting his pokeball away,as too impress one nurse Joy.

Spencer's eyes widened. He had never seen an actual Riolu.

"W-Whoah..." Spencer says in amazement.

"Oh my...a-a Riolu...?" Fennekin slowly walks over to the Meditite and Riolu, awe in her eyes.

"I-I'm Fennekin." She introduced herself.

"As said before, I am Knight. Hello, Miss Fennekin." Knight nodded, uncaring of Fennekin's awe. King just stared at Fennekin, her attitude had flipped from over arrogant to bowing down before Knight.

Looking to Cinder, he asked "Is there somethin' wrong with Fennekin? She's acting funny." King scratched his head before shrugging. He figured it was a runt thing, because so far Cinder wasn't acting like that.

"A-are you okay, Spencer?" Erin was as confused as King. Sure, it was hard finding Riolu, but it was harder finding the Luxury Ball to help with friendship so he could evolve. They were acting like she found a male Kangaskhan or something.

"Hi! I'm Cinder! It's nice to meet you!" Cinder replied, smiling happily at the two new Pokemon.

Rose brought out two normal Poke Balls and tossed them into the air. A flash of light appeared, and two Pokemon now stood there. One was a Pikachu, smaller than a normal sized one, (picture the size of Zapper being from that one tiny Pikachu from Pikachu's Goodbye) and the other was a Fletchinder.

"Hey guys! Come and meet my friends!" the Fire-type called out to them.

The bird flapped his wings and flew over to the group of Pokemon. He landed on the ground and looked at the friends that Cinder that spoken of. He'd never seen the two Pokemon that was with her, King, and the other Fennekin. What Pokemon were the other two? The Pikachu made his way over to the group most slowly. He was a bit timid and kind of shy, but he put on a friendly smile anyway.

"H-hello there," the Electric-type greeted.

Turning to King, Cinder nodded in agreement with him. The other Fennkin was acting kind of weird. "Yeah. It's like she's a different Pokemon now or something."

"Oh, you have a Riolu!" Rose gasped, surprised by this. This was the first time she ever got to see one in real life before. "That's so cool!"

Despite his attemps he let out a sigh and gave up,he then caught the glimpse of the other trainer's pokemon.

"Oh neat a meditite!" Shinji exclaimed
"Is this one yours? " Shinji asking Spencer
He then turned back to Weavile still standing away from the other pokemon.
"Well come over and introduce yourself to the others"

Weavile reluctantly walked over to the other pokemon not saying anything but thought this was a proper introduction.

"Um... Ninja boy? Bishop, the Meditite, is mine." Erin butted in, not trying to be rude, but is proud of her fighting types. Bishop nodded a hello to Weavile, glad that he wasn't the only one not talkative. King waved hello to Weavile, but wondered why it didn't speak.

Spencer blinked.

"Oh, I'm fine, sorry." He realized how stupid he must've looked.

"It's just...I've heard Riolu are hard to find...and Lucario are some of the most interesting pokemon in my opinion..." He replied.

"I'm fine!" Fennekin snapped a bit.

Memories of her time at the farm came back to her, and tears began to well in her eyes, but she quickly used her paw to dye them before they were noticed.

"I just...know this one Riolu...he was one of my greatest friends...that's all. It's very nice to meet you." She told Knight.

Turning his head towards Erin, he gave a small smile.
"Well allow me to introduce myself," as if the room got dim and a big spotlight out of nowhere shined on him.
" I am Shinji Hyro, ive made it my mission ro learn anything and everything about Dark Type pokemon. Wherever there is light there are also shadows, were there is no light i become darkness, just who am i? I am the darkness master!" Gazing at Erin with a gleam in his eye, "at least im trying to be."

Weavile comically fell with his legs in the air, embarrassed by his trainer. "Vile" he said

Weavile taking notice of a teary Fenniken.
He let out an arrogant "Hmmph"
Still thinking about Fenniken, turned to her
"There,there.." very friendly like,as much as he didnt want to comfort, he did.

"They are really hard, but it was harder to find his Luxury Ball. And, when your training one type only, you kinda have a much smaller choice of what Pokemon you can get." Erin sighed as she remembered Knight was her second Pokemon on her journey, her first of course being her starter, King. "Oh, and I am Erin, Shinji. I am training to become a Fighting Type master, and maybe be even apart of the Elite Four!"

"Sorry, sorry! I didn't know that!" King rapidly apologized to Fennekin, which earned eye rolls from his teammates.

"Show more tact next time, King." Knight snapped before turning to Fennekin. "Its nice to meet you as well. I hope you reunite with your friend one day, Fennekin."

"Come out Murkrow " said Shinji
A Murkrow came out of its pokeball.
"Hey Murk, your looking better now!"
"Murkrow!" Exclaimed Shinji's Murkrow.

"Oh hey pokemon," said Murkrow , as he was circling above the other pokemon. He then made a divebomb and then landed on a sofa near the other pokemon.
"Who am i gonna make my prey..... im just kidding you guys,i ate before coming here" He let out a laugh. "Who are yous" He said making the red iris in his eyes quite visible.

Shinji then turned his eyes toward Spencer, waiting for an introduction. Hoping his grand introduction was noticed by all.

At the word prey, Zapper gave a tiny yelp and hid behind Ace and Cinder at this. His two friends chuckled lightly at this. They felt bad for the little mouse Pokemon. They really did. Though, they found it funny more than anything. Even if the tiny Pokemon was scared out of his mind, he knew that they were only kidding around and didn't mean it when they laughed.

"It's nice to meet you. I'm Cinder. This is Ace and Zapper. Who are you?" the Fire-type asked.

King laughed, and introduced himself. "Hey, my name is King!" King let out a grin as he said his name.

"My name is Knight, and the Meditite is Bishop." Knight waved hello and Bishop just nodded in silent confirmation.

Spencer waved, and smiled as the background behind him changed to charming stars and league champion music played - kidding.

"Hey, I'm Spencer! I come from Santalune City. My partner Fennekin here,"

Fennekin hops and shouts her name.

"Have been together since little kids. We face any challenge that can come our way, though Fennekin can a bit stuck up at times!"

Fennekin slightly snarled

"We aren't sure what we want to do. My mom is a retired Pokevision star, and my sister is a Gym Leader here in Kalos. I have no idea where I may go in my journey, but whatever I do it will be with Fennekin!"

"Fenn Fenn! Kin" Fennekin chirps.

-Upbeat champion music fades-

King sighed with relief as Fennekin turned away from him. "Hi Zapper, hi Ace. My name is King, and the Riolu is Knight, and Meditite is Bishop." King greeted to the hiding Zapper, wondering if Zapper was a runt like Fennekin.

"Yeah, Knight is going to be a Lucario someday, then Bishop is going to be Medicham, and King is going to be Chesnaught! I may get even more Pokemon, then I'll apply to be apart of the Elite Four." Stars appeared in Erin's eyes as she thought of her awesome fighters and being an elite.

Spencer was impressed.

Elite Four

Some of the strongest and most respected trainers out there. That's a pretty sizable goal.

"Wow, the Elite Four? You'd have to train a whole lot and master all types of battle styles. Maybe, when I catch more Pokemon, we can battle sometime." Spencer offered smiling, although he knew for a fact that he would lose against Erin, who seemed like a pretty good battler.

"Deal! That's why I'm here, to learn more about Pokemon overall and how to go against opponents with type advantages." Erin grew excited at the thought of easily sweeping Psychics or Flyers. She knew her goal was a little far out of reach, but she also knew there was another fighting specialist, Korrina, who at least made it as a gym leader. To Erin, if she beat Korrina, she would get recognized as the best Fighting type specialist.

"It's nice to meet you all," Ace told the other Pokemon. "Making new friends is always fun. Isn't that right you guys?"

Cinder and Zapper nodded, though the Pikachu came back out of hiding once he knew that the bird wasn't going to eat him. The tiny Electric-type didn't feel like becoming another Pokemon's snack. Not with what happened with that Fearow... The small mouse Pokemon shivered at the thought of that battle.

"Is there anything you'd like to know about us?" the Flying/Fire-type asked. "Myself, Zapper, or Cinder wouldn't mind if you wanted to. It's good to get to know your friends after all. Trust is a good thing."

Rose perked up at the talk of battling such strong Trainers. They really had a goal set to become strong Trainers, though she wasn't too sure what she wanted to do as of yet. She knew that she wanted to catch more Pokemon as well, train, and get stronger as the road ahead was only going to get harder from there on out after this point.

However, she figured that she would stick around with them, as she enjoyed hanging out with them, and the Pokemon seemed to like that as well. That is, if they were all going to stay together in a group like this. If not, then she respected that, as being in a group was not for everyone. She did sort of wish that though. But in the end, it was up to everyone else. Rose did finally come up with to speak her thoughts to see what everyone else thought of the idea.

"How about since we all have the same goals in mind for the most part, we go and travel together?" she asked. "That way, we all get to learn and train together with each other, and get all of our goals done together as friends."

"Not to be rude or anything Zapper, but were you the runt of your litter? Your on the smaller side like Fennekin." King tried to put it nicely, as he didn't want to get scolded by Knight again, or get in trouble with Cinder or Fennekin. King decided maybe his question shouldn't have been asked, with all the bad things that could come out of it.

Erin hummed at the thought of Rose's question. If they stayed together, her Pokemon's attitudes might change for the better. 'King can learn leadership skills, Knight can stop being so uppity, and Bishop can learn to talk!' Erin thought for a little bit longer before turning to Rose. "Sure, Rose, I think it would be fun to travel together. Rights, guys?" Erin turned to her Pokemon, which she got a nod from Bishop, a shrug from Knight, and an excited jump from King. 'Well, two out of three is good as well.' Erin smiled at her Pokemon.

Spencer and Fennekin took note of Rose's words.

Travel Together? Well my mother... Sepncer thought.

"Well - my mom did plan for me to go to this stupid 3 week camp to learn how to travel ri-" He stopped himself from speaking.

The last thing Spencer wanted was to go to a camp filled with little 8 year olds, awaiting the years they can become a trainer.

As a matter of fact, Spencer knew that if he just called his mom and told her he had traveling companions - expirienced ones too, that she would be fine with it...hopefully.

"Sure! Traveling together would be great!"

Spencer started to speak in a more hushed tone.

"But what about Shinji...should we invite him?" He whispered to Rose as Erin.

Fennekin, suddenly nicer and a bit less prideful after having her tail handed to her in battle, frolicked along the other Pokemon, introducing herself a bit more down to earth to Cinder.

"You know, us Fire Foxes must stick together" She playfully barked

Erin glanced to Shinji before back to Spencer. "I kind of wanna say no, but at the same time, it would be rude. And what happens if we say no and he stalks us?" Erin whispered back to Spencer and Rose.

"Of course! Us Fire-types gotta look out for one another!" Cinder agreed, nodding her head. She still found it odd about how much different the smaller fox was acting, but she pushed it aside for now. She was just happy that the smaller one was in a better mood, and that they would get to travel together.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that I was," Zapper replied, nodding. "I got picked on a lot for it too. I tried to push myself to prove to the other Pikachu that, even though I'm smaller than they were, I could still do the same things as them. Though, bulling problems sort of happened because of that.. I was happy when Rose caught me to be her Pokemon. I'm a lot happier now than I was back then."

Rose frowned looking over at where Shinji was at. She didn't want to turn anyone away if they wanted to join them, but at the same time, what Erin said worried her. What if what she said happened to them? What if he stalked them if they said no and he said yes to wanting to come with them? It was his choice after all, but still it worried her.

"It's up to him if he wants to or not. I don't want to turn anyone away that wishes to join us, but at the same time.. I'm not so sure."

Spencer nodded.

"How about, we'll hint about setting out, and if he says anything, we'll let him come along? He seems decent, and if he gets a bit too...erm...creepy, we can make up some story to disconnect?" He offered.

No matter how much he tried, Soencer was horrible at sugar-coating and laying things down gently.

Fennekin stops, and looks at the runt pikachu with emotion in her eyes.

"Y-you're like me....I know how it is.." She explained. "When I was born, I was much smaller than my siblings. They would bully me about it, and never include me in anything. I could do everything they would, but when they would play...they were worried I would be too sensitive about their roughness....I remember the Riolu on the farm - Spike. He was m-...my only friend. He was so sweet, and generous...but his Trainer, Spencer's grandad was going to...send me off. Something about me not surviving well with the others because of my size...bu-but Spencer stepped in...he saved me."
Fennekin tells them, more so understanding for herself how close her and Spencer are.

Rose nodded. She understood where he was going with that. It made sense to her, though she didn't want to be mean to him, but she also didn't want to deal with someone that was... creepy or a stalker. Her mother had warned her about people like that. And she didn't want to hang around one if he was..

"That sounds like a plan to me. How about you, Erin? Do you think that's a good idea that we can do if we need to?"

Cinder, Ace, and Zapper were silent as they listened to the smaller Fennekin's story. They felt bad for her, terrible even. The little Pikachu understood how she felt more than the other two, and he wrapped his tiny paws around her in a hug, hoping to make her feel better. He didn't like to see anyone sad or upset.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Fennekin. I really am. I understand where you're coming from. Us, um, runts I guess.. We gotta stick together and help each other out. It's what.. friends do for each other."

Erin nodded, agreeing with the plan.

"Though, who will execute our plan? They have to be good with hints, but not to the point where anyone can tell what they are hinting at. But, what if he doesn't come just because he is that unobservant?" Erin groaned softly, unable to decide on how to imply that Shinji could join without blatantly asking.

King's eyes watered at Fennekin's story and shed a few tears. "That has got to be one of the most touching stories I've heard, the combination of both of your stories! Don't worry! I'll be your friend, to the both of you! I'm sure Knight and Bishop will too, right guys?" King sniffed as he turned to his teammates with pleading eyes.

"As our oh so sensitive King said, I would gladly be your 'friend', though I prefer the term, 'sparring partner'." Knight nodded to both of the runts before turning his gaze to King. "And if the King will be so kind as to clean up before he gets snot all over the Center, I'm sure the pink lady would be glad as well." King blushed as Bishop used Confusion to bring a tissue from Nurse Joy's desk to King, who gladly took it to blow his nose (if Pokemon can blow their noses).

"I'm not really sure about that one actually. I'm bad a giving hints," Rose replied.

"Friends are a good thing to have," Zapper replied, smiling, letting go of Fennekin. "I don't know where I'd be without friends like Cinder and Ace, and now you guys!"

"Yeah! Friends are great to have! And adding even more makes it all that much greater! Isn't that right, Ace?"

The Flying/Fire-type Pokemon nodded his head in agreement with what Zapper and Cinder had said. Friends made everything better, and sometimes a bit worse. He felt bad for King though, who had begun crying, and the bigger Fennekin went and pat the Grass-type on the back, trying to cheer him up. The bird could already tell that Cinder and King were good friends, and that made him happy.

"Yes. That's right, Cinder."

The Fire-type smiled brightly at this, while she still tried her best to cheer the Grass-type up. She didn't want him to be sad, though she felt a bit down herself after hearing the smaller Fennekin's story. Why did Pokemon have to be so mean to ones smaller than them? It didn't make sense to her.

(Quick little question guys. Are we allowed to ship our characters together? Because I think that Cinder and King would be a cute little couple. If that's fine with you, Forest.)

(To be true I started shipping them a bit earlier, but never commented on it so I'm fine with it)

Erin looked to Spencer, hoping he would be the one to deliver the hints, silently pleading for him to do so. "So... maybe Spencer?"

King eventually calmed down, and smiled at Cinder. "Thanks Cinder. I feel a lot better now!" King hugged Cinder in thanks, glad Cinder could help calm him down after one of his emotional freakouts.

(Alright. Just checking.)

The Fire-type smiled. She was happy that she could cheer her friend up. A tiny blush made its way onto her face at the hug. She brought her paws up, returning the hug.

"You're welcome, King."

King straightened as their hug ended. Noticing the pink in Cinder's cheek, he leaned down and whispered "Are you okay, Cinder? Your face is a little pink, are you hot?"
