A Journey in Alola! Discussion

Right now we’re all hanging out in a field. I am not exactly smart, or good at remembering things. So someone else might be able to tell you which island we’re on.

Oh, sorry about that! Nobody is really sure exactly where we are?

But we’re in a field, bonding with new trainers and Pokémon. I believe we are on Ula’Ula island?

(I didn't know how to ask you Sorry)
Name: Charlie Joped
Gender: Male
Personality: Bully, Stubborn, Liar, Hungry, Scared of caves
Looks: Orange Afro, Dark Skin, Blue Jeans, Cap
Goals: To be the Champion of his region
Pokemon (So far): Vanillish (Vanity) Goomy (Goom)
Age: 14
Backstory: Doesn't like to be friends with anyone and brags about how he's cooler than everyone else and hates when he's not included in a party or club. Lived in Castelia City in the Unova region and his dad died when he was 7 so he moves to Alola to try to escape his old life.

I'm kind of interested in joining. Not sure when I'll be able to though. Also, we don't need permission for Z-Rings unless it's your permission XD

My idea for my character (just putting it out there before I make the character profile, which I'll get there when I have some time) is she's 16 and has a Zorua before she starts her adventure. She's going to be a Dark- and Fairy-Type specialist and will specialize in dancing and Pokemon battling. I would also like her to have Darkinium-Z, Fairium-Z, and somehow get Popplio with Liquid Voice and a regular Litten.

Was wondering if she's alright. The character may get Battle Bond later for her Zoroark and will go to Kalos after she declines the battle with the Island Kahana of Poni Island and won't be participating in the elite four. She's just there for the adventure.

What I do to limit it is that Zoroark, when in a battle, has to choose to either use Battle Bond or Z-Crystals. Once one is used, he can't use the other until the battle ends.

Of course, Battle Bond won't be achieved in this story. This happens in Kalos where someone who is studying Battle Bond lets Angel know that her and her Zoroark are very close. So she is going to be using primarily Darkinium-Z and Fairium-Z.

However she does have a love for battle tournaments. She will enter those.

Name: Alana Autumn
Gender: Female
Personality: Bookworm, brave, trustfull, helpful
Looks: Purple jacket, jeans, black shoes, black bag
Goals: To finish her journey book
Pokemon (So far): Beedrill (Buzz)
Age: 15
backstory: She is a normal girl that lives in Lumiose City in Kalos, until one day her family house is on fire. She have to say goodbye to her friend in Kalos, she lives in Alola now.

Name: Angelia "Angel" Shayton
Ethnicity: Kalosian-Alolan
Gender: Female
Appearance: She is 5'00" (1.52 m), and weighs 100 lbs. (45.4 kg). Due to her metabolism rate changing and being unable to keep up with food, she is a little underweight. She has pitch-black hair with a white streak she bleached on her bangs. It flows down to the middle of her back in waves. She has pitch-black eyes, and her skin is a little pale due to slight malnutrition. Her skin also has a rare pigment disorder, which causes her cells/proteins in charge of the color of her skin to die, making her seem paler than what she really is. If her pigments didn't have this disorder, she'll be as dark as the natives from Alola. She has dark circles from not sleeping very well. She wears a black, poofy dress with puffed shoulders. The dress has pink frills at the end of her sleeves and at the bottom of her dress. Her dress also has a bit of a high collar, with pink frills topping it off. She wears transparent, pink tights and has a black purse with a large "crystal" chained to her zipper. She took the pink ribbon from her kimono dress that she had when she was younger and wrapped it around her, tying it into a large bow in the back. Her flats are black and have three-inch-heels that have metal plates on the tips and soles, as they are tap-dancing shoes. Her dance clothes are skin tight. For this set, she has a very wide black shirt with white suspenders hoisting her skirt up and wrapping over her shoulders. She has a pink undershirt that reaches to above her belly button and a pink frilly short skirt. She wears black spandex underneath and she keeps her tap-dancing shoes on. She has a black umbrella she uses for bad weather and dance, and she has black elbow-length gloves to help protect her arms from the sun. She also has a very Kalosian accent.
Personality: Even though she is 14 years old, her mental age is closer aligned with the people who are in middle schools (10-12 year olds) and sometimes even younger. She is very immature and very naive, but becomes a savage during battle. It is like a switch is flipped on when she feels the adrenaline course through her veins and she starts acting her age and is very battle savvy. She is very kind, selfless and caring to all who meet her, which can become quite bad for her when they begin to use her sweetness for their own selfish needs. She is always tired, and tries not to show this. However, her body language doesn't agree, as she slouches when sitting, and yawns a lot. Those dark circles under her eyes are from a lack of sleep, but there is more to it. She has chronic insomnia, which causes her to hallucinate slightly when awake, have trouble staying awake, be delirious at times throughout the day and not be able to remember what happens sometimes, and her Pokemon have begun training themselves because she always sleeps when she is trying to train them herself. Since her Pokemon are already very able in battle, they can battle when Angel is too busy sleeping standing up. Because of this, she can be quite clumsy.

She has an affinity with Dark- and Fairy-Types, wanting only those types in her team. Because of this, she's really knowledgeable when it comes to these types, but nothing else. Battling properly (as in competitive-viable) is a little difficult for her, but she does choose unorthodox ways to fight and teaches these ways to her Pokemon, so they know how and when to use these tactics. She also loves dancing, having been amazed at the television shows starring tap dancing artists and loving the groove and sway of their bodies and clapping of the shoes on hard wood. She liked it so much that she began trying to emulate them at a young age. She gives these dance regimens for her Pokemon. They dance while battling, and when her and her Pokemon are synced they are proven to be quite dangerous. She has a love for performing, and is definitely not shy on stage, but she does make blunders from time to time. She also used to be a Fairy Tale Girl, and had a kimono outfit that looked like the dresses they wore. Due to the type of environment she was living in and being such an impressionable child, she tried to fit in.
Goals: To learn more about Dark- and Fairy-Types, capture some for her team, and maybe start a traveling road show where she teaches people about Dark- and Fairy-Types after doing tap-dancing performances, using that money for charity.
Pokemon (So Far): Zorua (Zorro, Male) [Received Before adventure] | Zoroark (Zorro, Male), Togekiss (Togetoge, Female), Incineroar (Félin, Male), Primarina (Oratora, Female), Mimikyu (Mimi, Female) [at Ula'Ula Island]
Age: 14
Backstory: She was raised on Melemele Island in Alola, but was actually born in Laverre City in Kalos. Angel was very much a Fairy Tale Girl, having the kimono and enchanting, yet almost eerily dead eyes of the strange girls. During this time of trying to fit in with a group she met a mute boy, who she would quickly grow a bond with and play with him every day. When it got time for her to leave for Alola, she gave the mute boy a blue bandanna to remind him of her when she is gone. When she is busy helping her mother unpack at her new home, a box turned over and began skittering away. Chasing the box, she finally caught it in the bathroom and lifted it to show an underweight Zorua. This Zorua had the same blue bandanna around his wrist. He was the mute boy she had been playing with for all that time. Due to this, she begged for her mother to keep him, and she was able to, the two becoming inseparable ever since. The dark colors and mischievous side of the Zorua helped to get her out of her Fairy Tale Girl phase and into a more punk and goth style of clothes, while still looking largely feminine.

At this time, Angel would have beaten all the trials from the previous three islands and would need to beat the two trials on Ula'Ula before leaving. Just so I'm scaled properly.

Is there a 4-move-rule or do our Pokemon learn more than 4 just as long as it's reasonable?

I've been reading and trying to figure out where everybody is but no one outright says (at least from what I see besides Melemele Island) where they are. Do you guys know? Because the beaches of Melemele Island can literally be anywhere around Melemele Island except for a cave and other areas. XD my post is also going to be huge, as it will detail Angel's acquisition of Litten, Popplio, and the possible battle with Ilima depending on how far people are in the story.

We aren't on Melemele, were on Ula'Ula island, on the route next to blush mountain, right near the coast. Soon we should be heading up on the desert and the thrifty megamart areas.

And sorry about the posting thing, I've been up to my knees busy, I'll try to make a post sometime this evening.
