Sai had returned to Lumiose City after a couple years of traveling with his Pokemon. He leaned over the rail of the train and watched as it came over the mountains, The sight of the giant tower light up bright, It had put a nice small smile on Sai's face. A voice echoed and screeched from out of the speakers on the train.
"skrrrr! skrrrr! We are now approaching Lumiose City, all passengers please be seated as we come to our complete stop at the station. Don't forget to make sure all personal carry-ons are ready to go and next to you when departing the train."
Sai looked over at his seat and his Luxray, that had curled up on the seat. Sai gazed deeply at the scar that Luxray had on his right eye and at the same moment slide his fingers over the scar that was on the lower right area of his chin and sighed. He turned around against the rail and threw his head back and let go a long sigh and yell.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!~"
He watched as the sky moved from the front to the back of him, as if all of him had been released into the clouds and floated away. One cloud had shadowed out part of Sai's face, he felt cold; colder then cold as if he was missing all warmth in his body. He didn't know what to do with himself. Over the course of his childhood he spent it alone and received no kind of human emotion. He was virtually a body frozen in ice. When he became a teenager he was always training his body, he formed many scars around his body and when he turned 13 he left his home with his Pokemon, and traveled on his own to beat regional gyms and leagues. Now He's about to be 18, his birthday nearly 5 days away and he knew of no way to celebrate it. He thought he'd find something to entertain him in the city. While he was there he also decided to switch out his Pokemon for his next quest before he roamed the city for something to do for the next 5 days.
"Well.. Time to get off" he said.
He walked over to Luxray and grabbed his bag, he slid one hand into his pocket. He wore black boots that had one orange and green symbol on the side of it. His Luxray jumped up and followed behind him.
"To the city huh Son Sai."
Sai walked and nodded, he only showed his back to his Pokemon and walked off the train as it came to a complete stop. He walked down the wooden path that lead towards the city and on the direction of the Pokemon Center, He'd also passed by the giant mall and entertainment building.

It was that time of the week again.

Cassie slid off the back of her Swanna with a shopping list in hand, gazing around absently at towering buildings and crowds of people. But there was no amazement in her eyes. Shimmering lights and beautiful architecture became dull the more you grace your eyes upon them. It was one of the reasons she moved to Anistar. Such a life in the fast lane no longer suited her. However, having been in Kalos for two years now, she's learned that there are just some items you can find only in Lumoise. Thus, Cassie still had no choice but to visit the city frequently for her weekly shopping. Groceries, cleaning supplies, bathroom needs, berries, snacks for her Pokemon, and occasionally, new hats. She had to buy them more often now, since her sister Alice moved in for her research. She returned her Swanna, and instead released Ryu and Nine.

Unlike Cassie, her sister had followed under their father's footsteps; becoming a researcher. It was clever, Cassie thought. Her sister didn't have the back-breaking pressure she had as a rising star. But still, shopping had to be done. The Ace trainer wandered through the city, visiting shops she knew a bit too well, negotiating discounts and haggling with shop owners. Occasionally peeking into the windows of a boutique or two. 'If we hurry, the grocery store should still be empty, and discount goods haven't been gobbled up yet.' Nine said, taking off quickly in the direction of the aforementioned grocery store. Ryu hid a small groan, because usually it was him who had to do most of the bag-carrying. Until his trainer somehow fits everything in her messenger bag, and gets on Ace, it was his responsibility. 'Think of it as extra training' she always told him, and it hadn't always been so bad. But since Alice moved in, not only do they need to shop often, they also had to shop more.

Several small bags were now in Ryu's grasp, several more on Cassie's arm. They followed Nine through the crowd until the Ninetales suddenly stopped. Looking up, Cassie raised an eyebrow, "Sai?"

Sai had stood there, the crowds were moving fast, that it was almost like blurs of souls engulfing them in a circle.
"Sai?"
He heard his name, the world slowly stopped around him and his Pokemon. His eyes shifted down at a ninetales, he felt he's met before. He gazed into the Pokemon's eyes and knew after second glance that it had been nine, the ninetales, he met when he was trapped in the caves with Cassie. Cassie, the thought of the girl he spent almost two days with came back rushing into his head. He felt his heart pick up pace a bit but he thought nothing of it.
"GRRRR~" Sai's Luxray became alert at the site of the fox Pokemon gazing up at him.
"It's okay he's friendly.." Sai said.
As he rubbed the top of the Pokemon's head to calm him down.

Sai looked over and saw a female. He matched the voice that called his name to the female. he turned his head slightly and spoke with a deeper low voice, he had his hoodie up, it covered his eyes and parts of his face.
"Cassie..?" he replied.
He looked at her, and realized she grew a bit from when he last saw her. He then turned his gaze to her right hand Pokemon.
"Nine and Ryu as well huh.."

The crowd went from slow pace back to fast pace when Sai brought himself back to reality. The crowd became loud again, but it was low enough that him and Cassie could hold a conversation.
She looked nice, compared to Sai. She was always well groomed, smelled nice and was pleasent to be around.
Even though deep in her heart she was lonely and Emotionless like him. Hidden behind mask, Always trying to prove herself to someone even though she was her own person, she never stopped pushing herself. Sai knew since their first encounter.
Compared to Sai, she was almost as darkened as him.

He turned his body towards her, ready to engage conversation with her. He slowly took down his hood.

"Huh... It is you..." She murmured quietly. Nine took several steps back, cautious of the Luxray that displayed aggression toward him, until he was by his trainer's side again. In truth, Cassie didn't really know what to say. The memory of their time together in Glittering Cave came crashing in like a tidal wave, and she swallowed a lump in her throat. "How've you been?"

The shopping bags suddenly felt much heavier, and she couldn't maintain her gaze anymore. Despite all that time apart, she still felt... Vulnerable, around him. How could she not? He'd stripped her bare and seen her as she was, at the time she was weakest. The experience was scarring, it was difficult for her to sleep at night because she couldn't get his gaze out of her head. Haunting. The very eyes that made her swear she'd been looking in a mirror. Sucking in a breath, the trainer tipped her fedora. While he lowered his hood, she lowered the rim of the fedora, concealing her eyes.

Cassie plastered a smile onto her face. Walls built up, but they were cracked and unstable. Not the way they used to be, and it was because he was there. She was terrified. Oh so terrified. "You know, I haven't been in another cave since that incident." She started, giving a bitter chuckle.

Sai looked at her, why did she give him such an awkward laugh. He tilted his head and gave her the usual white mask smile. He didn't know what to really say to the girl. When she was around he felt heavy and uneasy. Why did this girl, out of every girl he's been around or been with give him such a different unusual feeling. It was new to him, he became scared of himself. He didn't want this to go on to long, This empty terrifying situation of words between them.
"Haha, oh really? I'm sorry to hear that. How have you been? You look amazing" he said.
What was wrong with him? How have you been he said, You look amazing he said. Why was he trying to keep the conversation going? Did this terrifying fear this one girl had on him.. excite him? Sai couldn't tell. Cassie had lowered her fedora over her eyes. Sai's heart felt so tight when she did. Her beautiful eyes he once stared into during their adventures, they were so empty, so hallow like a black hole in space. How can two round holes of floating emptiness bring Sai joy like that. He quickly turned his gaze to something else, carefully shrouding his obsessive staring at her.

Soon after he shifted his eyes, he took notice to the shopping bags around Cassie's arms and Ryu's as well.
"Oh you've been doing some shopping, That looks like fun."
Sai thought to himself, maybe he could use some time to go shopping for new cloths himself. He had been traveling so much, he basically uses the same two pairs of clothing everyday, constantly washing them. They were pretty much washed out. The only thing new on him was the hoodie he wore. It was given to him by an old Pokemon Breeder women, whom he helped on his travels. In return for his patients and kind act to the women, she gave him a Pokemon Egg, which he kept in a incubator tube that stuck out of his backpack. The egg itself was purple with little yellow ringlets on it. He didn't know what it was but it was worth the effort he put in to get it.
He took notice to nine when he backed away as his Luxray became territorial, he last remembered that Cassie's Pokemon didn't like him much. Or so he thought, but it was strange when nine kind of stood under him and just gazed upon his face. Maybe he had been staring at sigh's fresh scar on the bottom right side of his chin, it stretched out towards his lips leaving a gap between them.

Sai then let his attention turn back to Cassie has she begun to reply to his sentences.

"Oh, why thank you." Cassie was glad she had her fedora to cascade over her face, because her cheeks had stained a shade a bit too dark. She swallowed a massive lump in her throat. Perhaps that was her pride. Her head felt oh so light. She needed to keep herself steady. Steadily upright. Steadily answering his half-hearted questions. "I've been good. My sister just moved in with me, there's that. And... Yes, I'm just getting some shopping done. I've needed to cash in more money in my bank account for both of us. You know how that's like..." Ryu watched the Luxray cautiously alongside Nine, falling incredibly silent for a moment before the Ninetales nudged his trainer gently.

'We're falling behind the morning rush.' He reminded, and Cassie quickly snapped out of her own head. "Ah, yes." 'Just say a goodbye, Cassie.' Instead, what came out was, "You look well-" And even that was cut short. Because the moment she peeked out of the shadows of her fedora, she noticed how unwell he looked. The first problem was that he looked like he hadn't been in a shower for at least five months, and the second problem was the scar that she knew wasn't there the last time she'd seen him. "What... Happened?" Without even thinking, the trainer reached up and carefully touched the healed gash, moving her gloved finger slowly toward his lip. Her silver irises shone like starlight under the contrast of the shadows, and they showed a glimmer of concern for his condition.

However, realizing her actions, Cassie drew back, almost in shock of herself. She bit her lower lip and threw her gaze elsewhere. Why was she so awkward? Why was she always so out of whack around him? Why him? Why has it always been him? "Sorry." The quiet mumble left, just above the buzz of the people bustling past them. Inhaling a shaky breath, it was released in a choked cough. "I've- gotta be somewhere. But..." As her boots took her past the beaten down man, Cassie glanced at Sai with a soft gaze. "I can meet you at the Lumoise Galette at four."

Sai's tilted his head and shook it side to side.
"No I can't say I know what's that like.. I don't have any siblings" he replied to her.
He knew it was awkward between them they barley talked to each other but they kept studying one another, like dogs when they first meet.
she followed with a"You look well-" but stopped in mid sentence when she finally glanced up at him. He felt embarrassed by her steady stares on him like she might have been disgusted with his appearance. He forgot that Cassie was a very neat trainer always organized. Even though Sai thought himself as clean as well, he put the care of others before himself so he didn't worry to much about showering on his travels because he didn't like to sleep in Pokemon Centers, He very much enjoyed outside sleeping where his Pokemon can sleep easier.

'We're falling behind the morning rush.' Sai over heard Ryu to Cassie.
"I'm sorry to have held you up." He said to the Pokemon and to Cassie.
Sai turned his gaze somewhere else still embarrassed from her comment from moments before, but he suddenly felt his skin being stung with the soft touch of her gloves against him, but it wasn't a painful one, it was a tingling sensation. Her glove covered finger ran over his scar, the tender skin was more sensitive then his normal skin, He winced a bit and closed his eyes. He seemed to have relaxed when she caressed his face the way she did.
'What.. Happened?' she said to him. Sai's eyes opened half way and he bit his lip quickly hopefully she didn't noticed because he let go of his lip seconds after. What could he say to her, That he got it from trying to stop a rampaging Ursaring just to find out it was a trap and he almost died. That he was weak and let something scar him up on his face for life, or that he dropped his guard for a split second and this was the result. No matter what he came to he couldn't tell her, he could barley talk to her now. He was ashamed of himself and his Pokemon knew it, but he covered it up greatly.

He turned his gaze to those beautiful eyes again and got lost in them, when she shifted her gaze he did as well. The crowd got louder.
'I can meet you at the Lumoise Galette at four' she said.
He wanted to say no, he wanted to say no with all his heart because he knew that being around her broke him.
"Yes, that's fine I'll meet you at four." he replied.
What in the actual world was wrong with him. Why did he say Yes to her, his head begun to pulse a bit. He needed to get away.
"Excuse me, I'll be leaving."
Sai turned and begun walk away, he picked up pace. His Luxray watched him, he put one paw forward then looked over at Cassie, Ryu and Nine.
'My Master hasn't been well.. He isn't the Sai you once knew, Please if you can.. wake him up.'
The Luxray then jogged off behind Sai, he kept close to him as they faded off into the crowd towards an actual Pokemon Center.

The day went on rather quickly after that. She completed her shopping list and flew back to Anistar. Dropped off her groceries and sorted out her appearance. Perhaps she wasn't thinking straight. Because nothing her body was doing was registering in her mind. As if she'd gone on a complete autopilot. Her sister wasn't home, and the rest of her team had been arranged in their Pokeballs for her to take. Irresponsible Alice.

For the moment, she simply glanced at the clock, noticing there was still three hours for her to kill. So taking off her belt, she collapsed on the couch and drifted to sleep.

Sai made it into the Pokemon Center, He had dazed out of his walk and realized he had just made it into the building.
'Greetings Sir! Welcome to the Pokemon Center' said the Pokemon Centers owner Nurse Joy. Her warm brighten smile hadn't interested him enough to take his gaze off the ground lost in hard thought. He took out his Poke ball and held it out to Luxray as he approached the counter.
"Come on buddy.. Into your ball you need a rest" he said.
'Sai.. If I can make a Request..' said the wolf Pokemon. 'I'd like to stay in your team for this adventure.. please.' Luxray gave a deep stare at Sai.
Sai looked at him, he stared deeply into his opened eyes, they were yellow a nice golden yellow with a blue ring. Sai nodded and returned Luxray to his ball and handed his belt to Nurse Joy.

As his team was being healed Sai had poked through his Personal Storage of Pokemon that Professor Oak had shared with him. He had went through box after box, he had looped about three times before he noticed what he was doing. As time passed and Sai decided he was going to send all his Pokemon back except for Luxray and take out his shiny Pangoro. When his egg had hatched he would have three Pokemon in his party, Luxray, Pangoro and the Mysterious Pokemon.

An hour has passed and Sai's Pokemon were healed and ready to be transferred. He kissed each one of his Monster capsules as he transferred them over. He received his moonlight ball which contained his shiny Pangoro. Sai threw the ball out in the air and with a white flash from the ball came the giant panda bear.
'GORROOOO!!' the Pokemon shouted, as he stretched finally happy to be out of Oak's house. He looked over at Sai and quickly noticed his owner was in pain but played along and bent down to hug him. Sai smiled halfheartedly and wrapped his arms around the Giant bear. He lightly squeezed his fur, but felt he had showed weakness again and let go, then pulled back.
"Hey buddy, welcome back." Sai said lowly.

He had two more hours to kill, he decided since he was here he'd ask nurse joy for a shower and a washing machine to clean his cloths. Nurse Joy smiled at him and proceeded to say 'Of course down the hall we have an open room for you.'
Sai nodded and walked down the hall, he passed many trainers that stared at him, He was taller then most and he was pretty beat up. They also were amazed at the different color palette Pangoro and the Luxray with a cool scar on his eye. In a few minutes he had came up on a room and entered into it. He took out the egg from its case and held it to Pangoro.
"Watch this for me.. it'll hatch soon."
He handed the egg to Pangoro who took it happily, he then proceeded to throw his cloths that landed on Pangoro's face and he headed into the bathroom to take a shower. Since the washer machine was in the room as well, Pangoro handed the cloths to Luxray, who scrunched his nose at the awful but not that bad smell of Sai's cloths, to put into the washer machine and start it.

Sai stood in the shower, and he stared up at the ceiling, He watched as the steam from the extreme heated water produced droplets of water on the ceiling. The warm water melted all of the harden dirt of Sai's body from his travels and left him with a clean body, still covered in scars. He turned off the water and came out of the shower to his cloths being completely dry and his egg had began to glow. He walked over to it and took it from Pangoro, thanking him. The egg fully glowed and slowly deformed into a cat shaped purple Pokemon.
It was a Purrloin. The cute dark cat Pokemon hadn't opened it's eyes yet. Sai smiled at it and slid his finger over the Pokemon's ears and eyes to relax it. When he did it slowly opened her eyes and her first Sight was Sai.
"Welcome to the world little one."
the Pokemon was happy and took a liking to Sai very quickly, it jumped up on his curly dark brown hair and played in it. Sai smiled and picked her up and held him to her chest where she nuzzled him so. He handed her to Pangoro to hold while he got dressed.
'whats the plan for today Sai?" said Pangoro.
'im.. I have to meet someone today?"
'Oh really?' the pangoro glanced over at Luxray.
'He's meeting a girl' said Luxray.
'OHHOHH!!' said Pangoro with a loud happy voice.
"Stop.." Sai said.
Sai's couldn't get Cassie off his mind, he gripped his chest without showing his Pokemon. He let go quickly as he slid on his freshly warm cleaned black shirt.

The clock struck three and Cassie's eyes slowly began to flutter open. The petite trainer began to sat up, feeling her locks of burgundy hair sprawl over her back and tickle the skin of her cheeks. She ran a gloved hand over her face, pinching the bridge of her nose to clear the mist fogging up her mind. She inhaled.

Swinging her feet off the couch, Cassie proceeded into the bathroom; washing her face and brushing her teeth. Then came the brush, and she spent the next fifteen minutes trying to tame her wild locks. Once in its ponytail, she put on her fedora and took off once again to Lumiose.

Sai had finished putting on his clothing.
"Lets go.." he said.
his pokemon nodded. He grabbed Pangoro and Luxray's ball and called them back into them. He looked around until his eyes caught his new Purrlion. It stared at him happily. Sai walked over to her and scooped her up in his arms and walked out of the room, he locked the door behind him.

Sai walked towards the door of the Pokemon center when his shirt was tugged on by a group of newbie trainers. They had saw his Pangoro and Luxray before when he had entered the building and wanted to know if they could see them again. Sai looked at them, he would usually say yes but he had somewhere to be and said 'not at the moment he has something to do.'

Once he left the center, He noticed it had started to get cooler, and the sun would set in an hour or two. He was okay with this, the cold dark night is how he usually did his adventure, be himself while his Pokemon rested. In a few minutes Sai had made it to the Lumoise Galette he looked around and didn't see Cassie had arrived yet, he leaned up against the wall and waited. He looked at the Purrlion in his arms; how she was so excited to see people and lights and colors. Sai stroked the excited kittens ears, and under her chin to calm her down as he waited for Cassie.

In a gush of white and blue, Ace landed before the Lumoise Galette with Cassie on his back. The Swanna eyed Sai curiously while his trainer slid off his back and gently caressed the top of his head. Her gray eyes observed the man leaning back against a wall closely. A small smile gracing her lips to discover that he'd cleaned himself up for their appointment. But mostly, she was attracted to the infant he held in his arms; a Purrloin. "My, my. What a lovely Pokemon you have there, Sai. Was she recently hatched?"

In a single stride, she was right there in front of him, looking amused, yet cautious at the same time. Ace had also waddled over, looking at the Purrloin with curiosity. He nudged it gently with his beak. "Ace seems to like her. Does she have a name yet?"

Sai's eyes had slightly widen at the swoop in of a Swanna and his eyes slightly glanced up. He had been playing with the Purrloin till she had arrived, the dark type seem to be attracted to Sai little orange necklace that seemed to be very beat up around his neck. She couldn't tell but Sai was smiling when she showed up, but had quickly changed when she stood in front of him. He let out a soft push of hair from his lunges and kept his gaze on his Purrloin. "Yea.. she hatched when I was in the shower, shes pretty playful."

The Purrloin turned her attention to the Swanna that had nudged her for a few seconds, she got up on her legs and leaned forward. She cupped the Swanna's beak and nuzzled her, she purred softly. It had seemed that the Purrloin had been attracted to the bird Pokemon Cassie owned. Sai slightly zoned out a little, the scent of Cassie's cloths had traveled up his nose and it had caused him to drift off, he soon returned back to the present and heard her question. "Does she have a name yet?"
Sai thought about it and shook his head. "No, I haven't decided yet.." He said quietly. Honestly the Pokemon trainer didn't know whether or not he was actually gonna keep the Pokemon with him. With all the horrifying bad luck Sai had during his travels, he didn't want to injure this newborn. He kept that to himself though, maybe before he leaves he will make his decision.

He stood up, his chest directly in front of Cassie. He reached over for his backpack and held the little newborn in his arm.
"S-So where are we going?" he asked. Sai noticed he stuttered a little, and it wasn't very discrete ether. He felt it happening again, this weird feeling he had when Cassie was around him.

Ace blinked slowly, gazing at the Purrloin who had his beak in her paws. The Swanna didn't do anything, however, simply letting the kitten to do as she pleased thanks to his gentle nature. He lifted the Purrloin up carefully from Sai's arms, before placing her back down. Ace then pulled back and blew several bubbles from his beak with a harmless Bubble Beam to entertaim the infant.

The fragile orbs drifted around the two Pokemon and their trainers, catching the attention of several passerbys. Cassie, on the other hand, was beginning to notice the jitters Sai held in his body language. Despite the man now towering over her, she held no more insecurities, for she'd discovered his.

The young woman gave a soft chuckle as she watched light bounce off the surface of the bubbles floating around them, making it look like a flock of Volbeat had found their way to them, and she reached out slightly for a bubble to land on her palm, and watched it pop upon contact. Simply, she asked him, "Have you ever tried a Lumoise Galette?"

 

[Blonde]

Sai attention was attracted to the bubbles. He simple responded to her,
"No I haven't.."
He looked down at the Purrloin that had been playing with the bubbles as they floated near her.
'murr murr' she waled. Sai looked at Cassie as she chuckled, a small smile traveled across his face. He gave her a real smile, something he hasn't done in a while. He thought to himself, its been a while since he saw her and wanted to enjoy his time, his birthday was coming up and didn't want to ruin it.

The Purrloin wiggled out of Sai's arms and jumped into Cassie's instead. She purred and nuzzled her arms and played with the bands of her gloves. She also clawed at her hair. He let out a soft chuckle, but quickly turned his head to the side to hide it away from her. He turned back to face her. "It seems she's taken a liking to you.." He said. "Do you mind holding her?" he held his bag in his hand and slung it over his arm.
"I'm ready when you are.."

Cassie was somewhat surprised to have the Purrloin suddenly hop into her arms, but she caught her nonetheless. "Oh-" quickly, her eyes flicked to Sai, somewhat concerned that he wouldn't be happy about it. That concern was wiped away very quickly. "If you like."

The trainer scratched Purrloin's head and smoothed over the fur of her small body. "Well how about we get some Galettes, then? My treat." She began to walk towards the stand, which only had three other people waiting in line at the moment. "I hope they hadn't run out..."

Oblivious that she was getting him a gift on his upcoming birthday.

 

[Blonde]

Sai looked at her and stood in line. He didnt know how to start a conversation with her. he scratched the back of his head then looked around and moved around a little, the line was moving sorta fast sorta slow.

"So how was your journey after the cave?" he asked. He wanted to atleast talk to her because he hadn't seen her in forever. He hoped his sloppy appearance didn't drive her away, but he was wondering why he even cared. He kinda pulled on the bottom of his shirt a little. He looked at the Purrloin enjoying her ride in Cassie's arms.

"And what.. are these Galettes?" he also asked sounding like a small child curious about everything he sees.

Gray irises gazed at the hazel haired man. She; as still as a lake while he; as restless as the sea. It occurred to her that she is fully at right and capable of asking him why. Why he seemed so antsy and anxious. The young woman couldn't understand. She herself had gotten past her own encounter jitters, overcame it, and settled back into her usual cool demeanor. The Purrloin stirred in her arms, and she placed her atop Ace's head, who gave a soft swan-like honk. "Good, I suppose. I met lots of new people. Been to places. Mostly I've been hanging around the Battle Chateau." She smirked slightly. "You're currently looking at a Battle Marchioness."

Their turn soon came around, and Cassie pulled out her sleek black wallet. "Four Galettes please." She told the clerk. Then, she turned back to Sai and raised her eyebrow at an angle. "Well, a Galette is a very famous treat sold only in Lumoise City. You can even feed it to your Pokemon. It heals all status ailments."

 

[Blonde]

"Oh.." Sai felt restless in the city, its been a while since he had been in one that he felt as if he didn't know how to. control himself. Maybe he was really tired and just wanted a good nap. Whatever the reason he soon calmed himself down and stared at the Galettes as Cassie bought them. He waited beside her and watched the Purrloin play with her new friend.

Sai found them a seat to sit down. He looked at Cassie and then at the Purrloin and an idea popped into his head. "Hey.. I have a question for you." he said as he reached into his bag. He pulled out the Purrloin's ball and sat it infront of her. He crossed his arms and leaned back a bit. "Would you take this newborn from me.." He stared at her with his light hazel eyes that slowly turned into a gray-brown color. "I wouldn't be in its best interest to travel with me.. after the city" he said.

Sai knew that he couldn't protect his newborn on his travels, because about all of his Pokemon have serious scars on their bodies from ether crazy adventures or helping others and letting their guard down. Sai clentched his fist a bit.

 

[PentheWonderful]

She sat down, handing him his galettes. She took a bite into her galette and gave the other to Ace, who happily wolfed it down. "It tastes very good... I think you'll like them." Cassie said, smiling softly.

The smile melted, watching him hand the Pokeball to her. She stared back at him, hesitance clear in her eyes. "Sai... I-... She's yours..." Lifting her hand, she curled his fingers back around the sphere and looked reassuringly in his eyes. The hesitance in her's was still there, and she pushed his hand back to him. "You hatched her. You're the one she imprinted on. Even if she's with me, it's you she'll miss."

 

[Blonde]

"That's not true, shell hate me for abandonment.. Atleast shell
be safe and.. shell become stronger with you." he looked at her, his eyes softly show a hint of compasion to her hesitating eyes. Sai opens Cassie's hand back and puts the ball in her hand and closes it. He held her hand in his. Her warm hands brought heat
to his cold one. He held her hand for a while not realizing he had not let go yet.

"If anything.. I can trust you with her" he said.

Sai had thought about it since for a couple of hours. The little dark type cat would be endangered staying with Sai during his journey. He looked down at the Galette and finally let go of her hand, he released her hand gently and picked up the weird sweet and looked back at her.

"Just.. Think about it? Please." he implied.

He took a bite of the food and his cheeks lite up in happiness. The sweet sensation caused his cheeks to turn blush pink, He slowly enjoyed the Galette.

She stated at their hands, laced together. Then, she stared at the Pokeball which Sai had placed back into it. If Cassie had been looking, perhaps she would've seen the compassion in his eyes, but she didn't have the courage to. This sudden intimacy rattled her, and she didn't know what to do. Instead, she clutched onto the Pokeball tightly, her eyes sliding shut, and she told him, "I'll only neglect her. I don't train young Pokemon anymore."

Her eyes cracked open, and she stared into the crimson of the sphere. "You have to understand. I'll only keep her in a PC box..." She sucked in a deep breath. "But I suppose... If you insist."

She slipped the said ball in her bag and smiled weakly. "How is your galette?"

 

[Blonde]

he looked at her and swallowed his Galette.
"I.. Believe in you to do what you think is right?" he said.
Sai looked over at Purrloin that had fell asleep on the Swanna back. He looked over at Cassie soon after and he felt bad, she seemed so broken, almost as him he couldn't help but give in.
"It is great. thank you."
He reached back over and laced his fingers in hers and smiled. He didn't know what came over him, but he felt happy doing what he was doing right then.
"So what's next?" he closed his eyes and smiled at her. He relaxed himself, he wanted Cassie to relax as well. He understood what she ment about raising young Pokemon. But he didn't want her to be sad like this, not while she was with him for the day. He slid his finger under her chin and lifted it to face him.

There was a slight pause. A moment of hesitation. Cassie stared at their interlaced fingers with burning cheeks, and at that moment she just needed to look away. Confused, unsure of how to respond, yet she didn't pull away. She left her hand there in his grasp, and she could feel something inside of her.

"It's so hard to maintain eye contact with you." She murmured quietly. "Because every time, it's like... You're staring into my soul. Like you can see through everything, just like your Luxray." Cassie swallowed deeply, and she looked back at him, though he wouldn't be able to see it. His eyes were shut.

"I suppose I can hang on to Purrloin for you. Train her and get her strong enough to travel with you." Gently, she squeezed his hand. "How about we make a PR Video for you? Everyone who visits Lumoise makes one."

 

[Blonde]

He opened his eyes when she murmured to herself. He let her chin go and stared at her and leaned back a bit. What could he say to her, in fact what did she say to herself, He wanted to know.
"What did you say?"
he looked at her some more. His heart beated fast, it was hard for him to maintain the easy face and pace of his breathing when he gazed upon her beauty.

"PR Video? What is that?" Sai felt slow, he hadn't stayed in Lumoise city long enough to do any site seeing or shopping. He trusted Cassie though, he knew that their bond was nice enough that whatever she suggested he'd be okay with doing.
"Sounds interesting, sure, let's try it" he said.

He smiled at her when she said she'd keep Purrloin for him, He didn't know if she understood why he wanted her to keep the Dark Pokemon, but he was happy about it and hoped as they spent more time together she'll figure out why, also why he has these strange body affections to Cassie.

Sai stood up and pulled Cassie up with him. He pulled her to hard, and he felt as if she had crashed into his chest.

"Oh, it's nothing." The dark haired woman said quickly, feeling the warmth of his fingers linger under her chin. She found it odd. So very odd how he was so strong, despite the way his eyes looked like something so broken that it could never be fixed. For a short moment, she glanced back at their hands, and she memorized the way his grip made her feel steady.

"A PR Video is like... A promotional video of yourself. We can just do it for fun. I've seen lots of people do it just for the fun and memories-" She didn't get to finish her sentence, for all of a sudden, Sai was on his feet, and he was pulling her up with him. Cassie's heart lurched in her chest from the surprise, and before she knew it, she was toppling over and she was in his arms. Her head against his chest she could hear his heartbeat, feel his warmth. The young woman felt her cheeks burn and she quickly pulled back. "P- pardon."

 

[Blonde]

"I-I'm sorry, I pulled to hard"
Sai had caught her as she fell against his chest. His face burned red as well, to match her cheeks. He kept his hands at his side as she pulled away from him. He looked to his side and scratched his cheeks slightly. How come he felt hot again, his heart had begun to beat again. He was pretty happy when she pulled away as quick as she did or else she would have heard his heart racing again.

"I-I'm not very camera excited.. b-but if you do it with me itll be fun." He tried so hard not to stutter. His body had been thrown into some kind of weird status. He couldn't be cold around Cassie, the very sight of her made him happy, made him experience new weird emotions he believed he'd once had. What was the word that could explain how Sai was feeling. Maybe it was Love? Did he fell for her? Did those lifeless eyes of hers capture him?

He picked up his bag and grabbed whatever leftover trash they had left and threw it away. He stood ahead of Cassie and slowly reached over towards his lips. He felt on his scar, the one on his chin and had zoned out. He then reached over and stroked the scar that was slightly showing from under his arm sleeve.

Sai stopped quickly and turned to Cassie, he smiled as if nothing had happened to him.
"Ready to go?"

Her awkwardness melted away the moment he mentioned his discomfort before cameras. A soft laugh left her, though it was a hollow one, and once again she grabbed his hand in her own and proceeded to cross the street with him. "It's a bit like photoshoot. It'll be fun, trust me."

Once across, she called for a taxi, which stopped before them almost immediately. She returned both Ace and her new Purrloin and slid in the vehicle. "The PR Studio, please."

 

[Blonde]

Sai sat in the taxi and watched as the buildings past by him. He smiled and was mesmerized by the lights. he held Cassie's hand in his and felt him squeezing on it slowly. He eyes gazed over at hers and he was left without air in his lungs. She was so beautiful with the melon colored glow of the setting sun hitting her face and body. He just couldn't take his eyes off her, he felt warm all over, his eyes squeezed tighter the more he stare at her.
"Ah Cassie.." he said.
He wanted to tell her that she was absolutely the most gorgeous woman he's ever seen. then he stopped himself. What would he look like telling Cassie all this mushiness, he knew she wasn't that kind of girl. So all he did was stare at her in awe.

A sudden pain hit Sai in his side, he had been inching ever so closer to her, he had this sudden burning desire to do something. He leaned in, with a quick pucker of his lips he laid them against Cassie's cheek and quickly drew back. He looked down and coughed into his free hand.
"Thank you for spending a few hours of your life with me.."he said.
He kept his focus down at his legs as he said it. He glanced up and saw in the rear mirror of the car the driver had smiled at him as if he was saying "Good job kid". Sai smiled and let out a soft chuckle to himself.

He looked over at Cassie with a side glance and then back down at his pants.

"Yes?" Cassie didn't get to turn around before she suddenly felt his lips upon her cheek. In that instant, red colored her cheeks as blood rushed to her face. The pupils of her gray orbs dilated, and her body tensed up on instinct.

As quickly as the kiss was planted, it was gone. Cassie's fingers reached up to touch the spot where Sai's lips had been, and her eyes gazed at him in wonder. Dying sunlight bathed them in rich oranges and reds, and the moment felt so surreal. For a long while, she was simply stunned, her heart skipping so many beats that she thought she would have a heart attack. An odd churning occurred in her stomach, and she felt a sensation just as odd in her chest.

Could that be her heart stirring?

Whatever it was, it made her uncomfortable and scared. Very scared. In a quiet voice, she asked, "Why did you do that?"

when he heard her quiet voice he became silent, he felt guilty for reacting to his feelings and looked to his side. he stares out the window for a few seconds and didn't respond. He didn't know why he did it, he just had to, his body was urging him. He'd never actually kissed anyone with such desire before, he was afraid of himself. What could he say to her, "I had an urge, i had the impulse" it would make him look creepy in her eyes. So he just stayed quiet and didn't give her eye contact.

The Taxi slowly stopped and Sai quickly took money from out his pocket and handed it to the driver. He didn't want Cassie to pay for their whole day out. He'd feel extremely horrible if he did that. Sai stepped out of the car and held the door open for her.

He heard the music of the PR building roar in the background. His ears perked up from the slightest noise and he slightly became tense and nervous but didnt show it.

The fact that he was suddenly so quiet and avoiding eye contact made her feel like she'd done something wrong. What was she supposed to do? She'd never been in such a situation before. At least, not in such a circumstance. But still, she couldn't help the guilt that came over her when she saw the nervous look on Sai's face after he paid an got out of the taxi.

Cassie slid out the door he'd held open for her, and she locked her gaze with his with an uncertain expression. There were no words to be said, so she didn't say anything at all. Instead, she looped her arm around his and clasped their hands together. "I didn't mind. I was just surprised."

Her hand gave his a gentle, assuring squeeze. "We don't have to do the PR Video if you don't want to. There's plenty of places to visit."

 

[Blonde]

Sai felt a sudden warm embrace around his arm. He felt her hand loop into his. His heart raced and he looked at her. He squeezed her hand back, he begun to relax and smiled down at her.
"I want to do it with you.." he said.

His heart mellowed out, he leaned over and put some of his weight onto Cassie's. He walked forward pulling her with him as they entered the building. Sai was happy, Cassie had shown him a slight interest. What was he to do now, he hoped to discover more on their day out.

PR Guy: Hello young couple! how may i help you today?! he had begun to walk towards Cassie and Sai.

Sai heard couple and immediatly turned red. "Couple" Sai had also thought about that on their day out. Do people see them as a couple? He didn't honestly deny it when the man said it. He looked at Cassie.

 

[PentheWonderful]

Couple. It was just a single word. It described two people together; a plural. It described them. She didn't understand why people seem so flustered to be called a couple. If they're only with one other person, wouldn't that make them a couple? Even if you were with two other people, you'd still be classified as 'a couple of people'. Cassie didn't really see the big deal. Of course, there was also a sentimental value to the word, but she and Sai were just friends. Right?

Either way, couples get discounts.

So she kept her arm where it was, if not embracing it closer to her. There was a certain comfort in doing that, and she liked how it made her feel at home. Cassie smiled at the PR guy softly. "We'd like to shoot a PR Video together, please."

 

[Blonde]

PR Guy: 'Yes Yes please this way.' He leads them towards the green room and camera. 'Before going in, please tell me what kind of video you'd like'

Sai's head was more turnt to the actual room and camera and slight goosebumps came up on his arm. He was really camera shy, he has always been camera shy even for simple photos; he just can't do it. He held onto Cassie's arm more, he knew his friend was there with him but he was still pretty nervous about this. It's one of his many weakness's but no one knows about them because he doesn't show them often.
"There are different kinds of videos? Oh.. ah.. maybe a fun one?"
he turned his sight towards Cassie and took a nice big breathe, his nerves were slightly on edge but he had to over come this sooner or later.

 

[PentheWonderful]

"Oh, yes, a fun video sounds lovely." Finally, she released her grip, eyes glancing around the green room before they fell upon a rack of costumes. A smile stretched across her face. "How about we dress up a bit? It'll be hilarious fun." With quick, long strides, she was by the costumes rack.

Her hands sorted through the various accessories and coats, smiling happily at all the possible choices, before an idea came into her head. "Might we also have a Pokemon in the shoot?" She asked the PR guy who stood by. He smiled politely and nodded.

"Of course, miss."

Thus, in a flash of light, Cassie had released the Purrloin Sai had given her. The small kitten mewled cutely as she stretched, imploring the young woman to bend down and pick her up. "I was thinking we have Purrloin join us." She smiled to Sai. The smile seems different, however. It had more life in it than usual.

 

[Blonde]

He felt how warm her smile was, he couldnt help but smile more then usual, he walked over to her and leaned onto Cassie and stroked the Purrloin's head. He smiled as the Kitty purred under his hand.
"That be nice she seems happy."
Sai moved back when he noticed how comfortable he is. He looked through the costumes and pulled out a Pangoro onsie and looked at it and laughed.
"Hey look at this haha"
he held it up and showed Cassie hoping she'd laugh at it like he just did.

"What kind of costumes were you hoping to find Cassie?"he asked.

Sai was really shy about this and when she picked his costume he wanted to find a dark place to change, that way She wont see his secret.

A soft smile graced the young woman's face as Sai leaned in to caress the dark type in her arms. She allowed a small chuckle to escape her throat, placing the Purrloin on top of her fedora as she proceeded to muse, "You know, this figuratively makes us Purrloin's parents, don't you think?"

Her eyes were on the customers, but they flicked back to him the moment he called. A genuine, clear laugh emitted from her, surprising even herself when she saw him hold up the Pangoro onsie. "Purrrrow!" Purrloin mewled from the top of Cassie's fedora. "I wasn't sure what I was looking for at first, but now that you showed me that onsie..."

Her hands sorted through the rows of costumes until she found what she was searching for. "Violá!" In a single swoop, she pulled out a Lucario onsie. "We'll both wear onsies. It'll be great."

"Changing rooms are this way, miss and mister." The PR guy informed, showing them to the changing booths.

"Ah, wonderful." Cassie proceeded her way to the said booths, but not before winking at Sai beforehand. "I can't wait to see what it looks like."

 

[Blonde]

"Haha we are her parents. funny" Sai chuckled.
He looked at her as she placed the Purrloin on her fedora. He smiled and felt very calm and happy when he was around her. She surprised him when she let out a laugh as Sai held up the onsie.
"Haha I was kidding we don't have t-" but it was already to late, Cassie had taken out a Lucario onsie. Sai covered his mouth and let out a soft laugh at her.
"Aww someones gonna look cute" he said.

"Changing rooms are this way, miss and mister" said the PR guy.

"Haha I guess we are doing this for real." he said, with a big smile.
As Sai walked over to his dressing room he looked back at Cassie and she had gave him this wink, his cheeks turned a light pink and nodded.
"I bet you can't."

Sai climbed into the changing room and begun to strip, he looked himself in the small mirror of the changing room, and he gandered at all of his scars. He did a spin till his back was facing the mirror and looked at the scar. He sighed, but a picture of Cassie flashed through his head and his smile returned to his face, he began to put on the onsie.

few minutes later..

Sai had came out of the dressing room, he was about done and only had to zip up the front of the onsie to hide his bare chest. He looked at it, and noticed it had a hoodie on it. So he pulled it up over his head and noticed it had cute little Pangoro bear ears on it. He looked at this mirror that was between changing rooms and he sorta laughed at himself.

The petite trainer proceeded to slip out of her clothes, dropping them to the floor before picking them up again to fold neatly. Her thoughts were miles away as she stood in her lingerie. She was fond of the color white, and that was the color she wore for her bra and panties. Most of her wardrobe consisted of white. But that was because she loved how it blended with everything.

The same way she needed to be.

A moment later, she slipped in the Lucario onsie, seeing that it was a near perfect fit. Granted, Lucario were not big Pokemon, and she was not a big woman. She took a breath and pulled up her hood, and then looked at herself in the mirror. "I look okay..." Taking another, deeper breath, she came out of the dressing room to meet up with Sai.
