Gijinkaverse
by luxidoptera
AKA "Noche makes gijinkas of all the legendary Pokemon plus a few others and shoves them all into one universe with little consideration for how the stories of all seven generations would actually fit into each other".
I should establish my setting for these guys: Gijinkaverse characters sort of exist in roughly the same time that USUM happens, but exist in an alternate universe in which Pokemon take on humanoid forms (though I may represent them in their 'mon forms sometimes too; I'm considering having them be able to switch between the two but still kind of ehhh on that idea).
These guys do not accurately follow the timeline of the canon Pokemon series and several creative liberties have been taken; most notably how Legendaries work in this setting- most Mythicals and more minor legendaries can reproduce and there is definitely more than one out there, but legendaries that have a significant position in Pokemon lore, like several of the legends of Gen 4, exist as a singular entity and no more of them are present, though they will swiftly reincarnate on death. To give examples, Mauri is just one of several Marshadow out there in the world, but Gisilum is the Giratina and no more of his kind exist- but once he dies, another will take his place. Arceus is immortal and cannot die.
Also, trainers (and humans in general) don't exist in Gijinkaverse, 'cause that'd be weird. All events in Pokemon canon that involve humans (keeping in mind that Gijinkaverse only follows canon in a loose, broad strokes fashion) now involve Pokemon instead. If I accidentally mention humans in a bio, point it out and I'll fix it.
If a character is mentioned but not present in this folder, they don't have a design yet, whoops. They'll be up eventually.
