There is one major problem with your team and thats that there are only three pokemon. I think You could use a fighting type, a ground type, and a grass or water type in your team. Also don't use an amulet coin as a held item try somethingthat regains help or raises defence on infernape.

The most helpful thing that pokemon has done for me is that it has helped me make friends. I'm kinda wierd and without pokemon I probebly wouldn't have made most of my friends.
I've beaten the first three gyms on platinum and I'm having trouble with the fourth. I think it's because of my team.
