    Heal ball is easily among the best. It slowly regenerates tour pokemon's health.
    
    Luxury ball is my personal favorite cause I can let everyone know I'm a rich dude. I wear expensive clothes, my pokémon have expensive pokéballs, and everything I do just looks good. Know what I'm saying?

    Given that the champion is Cynthia.... yes, if you have the right moves. Empoleon could be useful with an Ice move, to deal with Togekiss, Garchomp, and Roserade, but it probably loses to Lucario. Infernape has good stats offensively and can take out Roserade, but I'm not sure about her other team members. And Torterra is slow, but could help against Milotic.

    I've never done nuzlockes for reasons like this, and the fact that I have no concept of switching pokémon. I've always just muscled through entire teams with whatever pokémon is in the front of my team...
    
    Fury swipes is one of those attacks that is easy to underestimate. Theres no way they will land 5 hits... am I right? Even lesser would be if one of those hits were critical. I'm sure my mon will be fine...

    That's valid. Personally, I feel gens 1-3 have the best sets of starters in terms of designs. I think that last time I REALLY liked a starter design was Serperior from gen 5. I can see the appeal of some of the newer gen starters but none of them have grabbed my attention and I find them a bit gimmicky.
