Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
@Hanson, sorry, no. Battling does have importance in the school, and it'll be kind of strange if you can't participate in class activities because of that.
"That's fine. Just watch out. If it happens again or you feel sick, just come back here." The nurse said. Alfie twitched nervously, not wanting to interrupt the conversation, opening and closing his mouth like a gawping fish.
"W-well, I guess I should p-probably leave..." Alfie trailed off...
"Here, you might want a cup of water after that." The nurse said, placing a cup of water by the bed. "You should have told the school about your medical conditions before. Let's note them down now, before anything too bad happens." He lightly chastised her.
Alfie sat nervously in the corner.
After navigating the halls, Alfie finally reached the infirmary. He walked into a clean, egg-white coloured room, with medical stretchers and beds inside. A pink-haired man looked over at him, and saw El in Spirit's hands.
"Set her down here," The man said. Alfie assumed he was the nurse. "Now...
People started looking at the both of them. Alfie started nervously sweating. And on top of that, a suspiciously aggressive Delibird came over and started squawking angrily at him. He really couldn't deal with all this attention. He released Spirit, the Haunter floating around his head cackling...
S-Shit! I didn't mean to bring up any bad memories! Alfie started to panic, before seeing El start to fall over. Instinctively, he leapt over and caught her in his arms.
O-Oh god...! He thought. She should probably go to the infirmary...
"Are you okay?" He asked her.
Oh, ORRE. That's why I haven't heard of it.
Alfie looked slightly more relieved. "Ah, O-Orre! That's nice... w-what's it like?" he tried asking, trying to be friendly. Because if he was going to talk to someone, it better be in a friendly way, dammit!
Oh god, she probably thinks I'm some creep or something... where even is Phenac City?
Alfie started to panic, waving his hands in front of himself frantically.
"S-Sorry, no! I just wanted to- where is P-Phenac city?" He stumbled out
Alfie let out a deep breath, as he could finally go and... hide away? He looked over at El, and saw her look slightly anxious. It was an expression that he knew all too well. He then immediately froze.
I should go over and talk to her, right...? But what if she doesn't want to-
Alfie slightly...
The battles did seem to be finishing up, which meant that Alfie would finally get to go back to the dorm and... meet his dorm mate.
Oh no... Alfie winced. He was not looking forward to more social interaction. All he wanted to do was play with his Pokémon and maybe train some more. He was...
"I-I'm Alfie. Nice to meet you too... u-uh, how did you do all that with your Unown?" Alfie asked hesitantly. He started slightly melting down inside of his head. Of course he did. He slightly cringed at his own question.
