The latest in a long line of Legendary events for Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon begins in North America and the UK on Friday. This month players will be able to get their hands on either Xerneas or Yveltal.

To obtain the Pokémon you will first have to obtain a code from your local GameStop in North America or GAME stores if you're in the UK between the 4th and 26th of May. Read on to find about more!

The latest legendary distribution for owners of Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Ultra Sun has now gone live in Europe. It has been revealed that users of Pokémon Bank will be able to get their hands on the fully evolved forms of the three Alola starter Pokémon with their hidden abilities.

The official Pokémon Twitter account has recently confirmed distribution information for March's legendary event. You can find out more about the two Pokémon in the below Tweet!


Pokémon fans in the US and Canada will need to be signed up to the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter by March 1st to get a special code for either Heatran or Regigigas. Players with Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Ultra Sun will be able to get Regigigas, while owners of Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Ultra Moon will be able to get a Heatran.

If you're in Europe then the event will be held over the Nintendo Network, so you'll just need to use the mystery gift option in-game. As we previously reported, TPCi has designated 2018 as a year of celebration for all of our beloved (and lesser loved) Legendary Pokémon. Kicking things off is a retail distribution of Dialga and Palkia, which will span the month of February (ending on February 28th).

Visit a participating GameStop (US), GAME (UK), or EB Games (Canada and Australia) to pickup your download codes for Dialga/Palkia. Dialga can be redeemed for copies of Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Ultra Moon, while Palkia will be available for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Ultra Sun. Today Pokemon.com have announced a whole host of new distributions for Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon under a new Legendary collection of events. These distributions will be held throughout 2018 and allow Pokémon fans the chance to get their hands on numours Legendary Pokémon by obtaining a code from their local GAME (UK) or GameStop (US) store.

In honour of the release of Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! in Singapore, Original Cap Pikachu has once again been made available via a Mystery Gift download code. The new code to snag this special Pikachu is PIKACHUM20, but sadly the code only seems to work for North America/South America and Japan - not Europe/UK.

If you own a copy of Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon from these regions, you can receive Original Cap Pikachu with the PIKACHUM20 code until November 23nd. It’s been said that this code will not work on copies of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

It’s been a long road but we’ve finally hit the home stretch of the Ash’s Pikachu event. It should therefore go without saying that Alola Cap Pikachu will be the final distribution, starting today and running until October 30th for copies of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

As with the five previous Cap Pikachu, you can download an Alola Cap Pikachu via the Mystery Gift menu by using the PIKACHU20 code - but only if haven’t already used the code to receive a different Cap Pikachu on your savefile.

Kalos Cap Pikachu is available now as part of the I Choose You! Ash's Pikachu distribution. Once again, you can use the PIKACHU20 code on Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon via the Mystery Gift menu to download a Kalos Cap Pikachu, from today until October 23rd - but only if you haven't already used the code for a different Cap Pikachu. Only one usage of the code per save file!
