These Mega Stones are as follows: Sceptilite, Blazikenite, Swampertite, Cameruptite and Banettite. These Mega Stones are for use with Sceptile, Blaziken, Swampert, Camerupt and Banette.

A new download code for use with Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon has been revealed and gives fans the chance to get their hands on four Mega Stones. These Mega Stones are Pidgeotite, Steelixite, Heracronite and Houndoominite which are for use with Pidgeot, Steelix, Heracross and Houndoom.

Following the release of a new Japanese trailer for the 20th Pokémon Movie - a "re-imagining" of the beginning of Ash's journey featuring a variety of Pokémon and characters that did not even exist when Ash started said journey, but who's counting - the yet-to-be-revealed Mythical Pokémon of Sun/Moon, Marshadow, has been finally officially revealed.

If you're a fan of Mega Beedrill, Mega Audino, Mega Mawlie, or Mega Medicham, we have good news for you today – TPCi have revealed a download code that will allow you to obtain Beedrillite, Audinite, Mawilite and Medichamite, four hold items that will allow you to Mega Evolve the respective Pokémon. You'll need to have gotten far enough in the game for your Z-Ring to be upgraded, and the Pokémon themselves aren't available in Alola – you'll need to trade for them, or use Pokémon Bank to obtain them

A distribution has started in the UK and Europe that allows owners of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon the chance to get their hand on a Bottle Cap item. Having a Bottle Cap allows you to push one Pokémon's IV up to the maximum value of 31, so if you're a competitive player than you definitely want to get your hands on one!

The event is running via codes which can be obtained from GAME stores in the UK. The distribution started today and runs until the 28th of February and all codes must be used by the 13th of May or they'll no longer work.

As previously promised way back when the games were first announced,, Pokémon Bank has today been updated to add support for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, and a raft of new features. The Poké Transporter app, originally used for transferring Pokémon from the fifth generation games, has also been updated to allow transfer of the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, Pokémon Green, and Pokémon Yellow.

This means that you can now bring Pokémon stored in your Bank into Pokémon Sun and Moon, regardless of which game they came from. Click through for full details – and the Mewnium Z giveaway...
The first event Pokémon for Sun and Moon, Magearna, has officially been released for North American and European players. Magearna is the first Pokémon to be distributed using Sun and Moon's new QR code feature, and is the first event Pokémon to be released without an end date.

Magearna comes in a Cherish Ball, and holds a Wishing Ribbon. Its full details are:
