We hope you've been enjoying Pokémon Sword and Shield as much as we have been! In between Max Raids, we've been busy beavering away at updating the Trainer Card Maker with all the new Pokémon, Galarian and Gigantimax Forms from the latest games.

(We've also finally added Meltan and Melmetal too! Sorry that took so long!)

With the Pokémon games getting more complicated and relying on 3D models, the style no longer fully fits with our Gen 3 (released over 15 years ago!) style Trainer Cards, so this time we've added both the in-game 3D models used for the Pokémon and the new, bigger, more detailed menu sprites to choose between. We're also waiting on being able to add Shiny forms and some alternate forms (such as the bazillion Alcremie forms), so we don't currently have that available - but we should do in a future update.

A wider-ranging update to both the Trainer Card Maker...

Just in time for the launch of Pokémon Sword/Shield, we've got a brand new online tool for sharing your adventure. It's as easy as just sharing screenshots or videos from your Nintendo Switch and visiting the website to check out your automatically created journal!

Just add your Twitter account name to the url: https://MyPokemonJournal.com (Your Pokémon Journal) - for example, I'll be sharing my own Sword/Shield adventure through my dedicated screenshot account at https://MyPokemonJournal.com/OakSwitch (@OakSwitch's Pokémon Journal)

Both of the Switch Pokemon games are supported - just make sure you keep the default hashtags when sharing from your Switch (#PokemonLetsGo or #PokemonSwordShield).

If you want to manually post content to your journal, just add the hashtag #MyPokemonJournal alongside...

The new Pokémon games are just 2 weeks away, but unfortunately, that means we're now smack-bang in the middle of people getting hold of the game through less than fair or legitimate methods and uploading the entire thing for everyone to see well ahead of time.

As we've previously established, Pokecharms will not be covering anything other than the officially released details and Pokémon ahead of the games release on the 15th. This is so that we're fair to everyone who wants to play these games, that we're not just spoiling the entire thing for them.

That also means that we're not allowing any of this to be posted by anyone else either on the forums or on the Creative Corner. Until the games are out, please stick to the officially revealed Pokémon and information (which you can confirm on the Sword and Shield website if you need to).

Breaking these rules will see your post deleted...

Today, our sister site GameCrash has received a bit of a make-over and with it, three new weekly feature series to keep coming back for.

On Mondays, GameCrash Rewind takes a look back at games from the long or perhaps more recent past. We explore the pros and cons of the games as well as how you can get your hands on them today.

This weed's first article centres on a Master System Disney classic, The Lucky Dime Caper Starring Donald Duck:

On Fridays, Version Control focusses on the era of gaming when games could be entirely different depending on which console you played them on.

The first Version Control takes a long hard look at no less than five versions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:...

It’s been a long time coming, but Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! are finally available across the globe.

To celebrate their release, as some of you have likely already noticed, we’ve created a brand new forum section dedicated to all discussions about these latest Pokémon games. All posts previously found on the Alola Games forum have been moved to the Pokémon Games Discussion forum - the new location for all Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon chatter going forward.

But that’s not all. Click through to read more!...
As some of you may know, Pokémon Let's Go have been leaked and datamined, and a lot of unreleased imagery and information has made it onto the internet. Unfortunately, such information has not been sanctioned by Game Freak or Nintendo, and hosting it here would open us up to potential legal difficulties we are keen to avoid.

The practical effect of this is that we are not able to allow discussion, fanworks, or any other content involving leaked or datamined information, including that drawn from leaked or early release copies of the game, until further notice. For example, any discussion of unrevealed mechanics or changes will be removed from anywhere on the site, including profiles. Click here to read more...

It's been three whole months since we first ventured into Unova and started Let's Play Pokémon White, but we've finally made it – we're standing on the precipice of the Elite Four. Join Teapot and friends this Sunday, 23rd September at the earlier time of 9pm BST (UTC+1)!

Hey guys! If you've been following our live streams on Twitch and Youtube in the past few months you may have been wondering about our couple weeks break from the regular schedule after Worlds. If you're one of the regulars who've been dropping by every week, the bad news is that we're going to be cutting back on the streams to focus on doing just one main stream every week, rather than repeating the format across the entire weekend.

The good news is that in the meantime, while we work out the logistics of how best to manage that, we have some other new video content for you!

You may be aware of our sister site GameCrash - well, now we're branching out to also include a regular series of Let's Play videos. @Teapot and myself have kicked things off with a few episodes of us playing Two Point Hospital, which came out just a couple weeks ago. Episode 1 is above, and Episode...
We've all been absent last week for various reasons (except Doctor Oak who managed to materialize on Sunday) - but this week, we're back on Twitch and Youtube for our usual stream shenangians.

Tonight (Friday) at 10pm BST (Your timezone here) - I'm back in Sinnoh - where, among other things, we handle a potential bomb threat and hopefully survive whatever our next encounter is.

Tomorrow (Saturday), at the same time, DoctorOak hits Johto again in Pokémon SoulSilver (in which, presumably, Ecruteak happens), and the next day (Sunday), Teapot returns to Unova in Pokémon White and... actually gets on with the plot after getting out of Twist Mountain? We can only hope.

As usual, make sure you're following us on...

It's been a while, but tonight we're going back to Johto after a busy couple of weeks away. This week we're only streaming tonight (Sunday) but be sure to join us for the usual conversational soup and probably some mild progress through Pokemon SoulSilver (and most likely, some grinding).

Normal service will resume with the streams next week, so to make sure you keep up with SoulSilver as well as the Pokemon White play-through, follow us on Twitch, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter to be kept up to date with when we're going live - and don't forget that as well as watching live in this very post, you can always find our Twitch channel hosted live on our permanent Twitch page....
