Shortly ago, a new trailer was revealed for Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee! Showcasing a bit more about the games.

Not much actual news was revealed in this trailer - but you can read more about what WAS revealed in this trailer here.

Now that June's Legendary Pokémon distribution has ended, it's time to turn your attention towards the next duo for this event: Thundurus for Pokémon Sun & Ultra Sun, and Tornadus for Pokémon Moon and Ultra Moon. Like with the previous giveaways, how you'll need to go about obtaining these two - and when - depends on where you live. Click through to find out more!...

Several hours ago, the Pokémon 2018 Video Game Press Conference has been held in Tokyo, and officially revealed a great deal of new information concerning upcoming... well, Pokémon video games. And it was an eventful press conference alright - confirming some rumors, putting others into context, and revealing some exciting new things to look forward to.

Ok guys, let's have a chat about those 'leaks' that have been doing the rounds this week.

By now you've no doubt seen the buzz online that the forthcoming Pokemon Switch game/s may have been leaked online ahead of what's likely to be a reveal this month (or at the latest, at Nintendo's E3 Direct in June).

Things kicked off with what's honestly, a pretty vague and mostly meaningless, post from a well known breaker of NDAs, Emily Rogers. The general tone of the post was effectively that Pokemon Go might be an influencing factor on the next Pokemon games - potentially also including some sort of new accessory that we can only assume would effectively be a next generation PokeWalker, given the context. Ultimately, it's a bit like saying the sun will come up tomorrow, but it was enough to set tongues wagging.

Coincidentally, that very same day, a logo...

While it took its sweet time to arrive, the special Detective Pikachu demo that Japan received last month is finally available for Europe and North America. The demo is free to download via the 3DS eShop and covers a portion of chapter 1 from Detective Pikachu.

If you later buy the full retail version the game, you can transfer your progress from the demo to it and continue on your merry way!

Who’s already picked up a copy of Detective Pikachu or plans to try the demo?

Updated 09/03/2018: Sadly, there’s a possibility that the Detective Pikachu demo will only be made available in Japan. We’ll let you know if this changes in the future!

A new English trailer has been published for the upcoming 3DS title Detective Pikachu. Take look at the trailer below!

While the UK version of the trailer only showcases the game's release date and the special Detective Pikachu Amiibo, the North American trailer also highlights a promotion for a free Detective Pikachu 3DS Theme - presumably implying that the promotion is North American only.

As we previously reported, TPCi has designated 2018 as a year of celebration for all of our beloved (and lesser loved) Legendary Pokémon. Kicking things off is a retail distribution of Dialga and Palkia, which will span the month of February (ending on February 28th).

Visit a participating GameStop (US), GAME (UK), or EB Games (Canada and Australia) to pickup your download codes for Dialga/Palkia. Dialga can be redeemed for copies of Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Ultra Moon, while Palkia will be available for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Ultra Sun. The two Legendary Pokémon's levels and movesets will vary depending on which game you redeem them for (also detailed in our previous article). Click through to read more!...

I wasn't sure if this day would ever come to pass, but the quirky Nintendo 3DS title Detective Pikachu has finally been announced and dated for a western release. Originally this "episodic", digital-only, action-adventure Pokémon game was released almost two years ago in Japan (February 3rd, 2016), but a second part was never released and it was never shown off internationally. Since then the incomplete game largely faded into obscurity outside of its connections with the upcoming live action Pokémon movie.

Now, oddly enough, not only will Detective Pikachu finally be released in North America and Europe on March 23rd, 2018, the 3DS game is receiving a complete physical version that tells the entire story - not just the portion that was previously released. Japan will also be receiving this new version on the same date.
