This March, Pokecharms will be expanding into brand new territory as we launch a whole new website dedicated to the upcoming release of Pokken Tournament.
PokkenClub.com will be launching the same week as Pokken Tournament and from that week on will be the premiere source for news, features and all the vital stats on the Tournament’s competing Pokemon. In the coming weeks and months we will also be launching two more brand new features on the site:
The PokkenClub Community:
At launch the site won’t be open to new user registrations, but in the weeks after launch we will be opening the site up to begin building what will hopefully be the biggest and best dedicated Pokken Tournament community on the web. As well as a more typical forum discussion area, you will be able to create your own profiles on the site, complete with your own personal space for uploading screenshots, videos and...
[This article was originally posted almost a year ago to the day and after today's announcement seems all the more relevant, so we're bringing it back for anyone who might have missed it the first time around.]
So it probably doesn't really add up that I would espouse that the upcoming, actually being made, game could possibly be...
It's almost that time once again, and as usual, I've compiled a list of when all the big E3 conferences take place and a bit of a look into what to expect (or what not to) for each of them. This year we've got more conferences than ever thanks to Bethesda, Square Enix and a PC-focused conference all joining the show.
Once again, Nintendo's skipping the conference for another pre-recorded Digital Event, but they won't be without presence at the show. Before the conferences begin, they'll be bringing back the Nintendo World Championships and pitting players against each other in a range of classic Nintendo titles - including the original Legend of Zelda. And, after their show, Bill Tretton's Treehouse returns to E3 for an in-depth look at the games covered in the main Digital Event show. We think there's a pretty good chance we'll see Pokken Tournament in the...
During the latest Nintendo Direct stream, that aired earlier tonight, Pokémon Rumble World was announced as a new game within the Pokémon Rumble franchise coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop - for free. Like Pokémon Shuffle before it, Pokémon Rumble World will be free to download and play with the ability to spend real world money to enhance your gaming experience.
Now that we’ve gotten into September and the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire isn’t that far away video games stores across the world have been revealing the pre-order bonuses being offered for the two games. We’ve decided to round it all up in one handy article for you so you have an idea of what’s on offer. You can find out more after the cut!
The concept of the guys at Namco Bandai's Tekken coming together with The Pokemon Company/Nintendo to build a Pokemon version of Tekken is, on paper, so insane sounding that despite multiple indications over the past year that exactly that was happening, even the most open minded of us found it hard to commit to the theory.
So it probably doesn't really add up that I would espouse that the upcoming, actually being made, game could possibly be the best thing the series has done since the height of the original launch. But I am.

Once upon a time, in the depths of the late 90s, Pokemon and Mr Monopoly had a mutually beneficial baby and it's name was, predictably, Monopoly: Pokemon Edition. It was fairly succesful, and has since gone on to be an actually quite expensive piece of Pokemon tat for collectors.
Following on from the announcement of a Legend of Zelda version of Monopoly, however, Monopoly and Pokemon are back together and riding the nostalgia train all the way back to the 90s with Monopoly: Pokemon Kanto Edition. This time, instead of the generic anime artwork, however, the official artwork from the Fire Red and Leaf Green games takes...
The latest edition of Japanese magazine CoroCoro has leaked and brought with it the reveal of three new Mega Pokémon to be featured in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
The first Mega to be revealed is a Mega form for Lopunny. When it Mega Evolves Lopunny turns into a Normal and Fighting Pokémon and gets the Scrappy ability.
The next Mega to be revealed is Mega Altaria. When in Mega form Altaria turns into a Dragon and Fairy type Pokémon and gets the ability Pixilate.
The final Mega Pokémon to be revealed in this month's edition of CoroCoro is Mega Salamence. Salamence keeps its Dragon and Flying type when it Mega evolves and gains the ability Aerilate.
The leaks have also revealed that each of the...
E3 may slowly be coming to a close now and many of us weren't really expecting to see any more Pokémon news for a little while after being treated to two very nice new trailers over the last couple of days. However, things haven't gone quiet just yet as today the official website for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire has opened, and we've been treated to yet another trailer in order to celebrate.
The new trailer doesn't reveal much new information, it's mostly reintroducing us to the Mega Evolutions for the three Hoenn starters. The trailer does reveal Mega Diancie outside of Japan for the first time though, reconfirming that the Pokémon will be given away through an event for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y soon. The trailer can be seen below:
The official site for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire can be found...
