Last month it was revealed that a Zarude Distribution would be running throughout November and into early December. Here in the UK the only way to get your hands on a code for the legendary Pokémon was to go to your local GAME store.

However, on Monday it was announced that Pokémon fans will be able to get a code for Zarude by simply being signed up for the Pokémon Trainer Club Newsletter by the 18th of December. Codes will then be sent out in January. Not only will these be sent out to people in the UK, but also those within Europe.

In a tribute to trainer Baik Jongyoon, a semi-finalist in the 2019 Pokémon World Championships' Senior Division, Pokémon Korea has released a download code that allows owners of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield to obtain a shiny Amoonguss.

This Amoonguss is a replica of the one Baik used during the competition. You'll need to use the code TRA1NERSCUP via the Mystery Gift menu to grab your own, but this code will only work for a very limited time. The distribution will end tomorrow (August 10th) at 3:59 PM UK time (10:59 AM EST / 7:59 AM PST).
