A new Japanese trailer has been released for the upcoming movie Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story. The trailer doesn't offer too much in the way of new content, but it further emphasizes the various characters featured in the film, showcases the movie's theme song, and offers glimpses of Zeraora and Lugia.

Take a look!

It's been nearly two months since Pokécharms Day 15 and the 15th anniversary quiz that accompanied it - and those of you who took part may have noticed that you've had a new trophy awarded to your profile for participating in said quiz.

Due to various people having changed their names since that time, leaving, being launched into the stratosphere on a rocket lawn chair or simply not using their actual forum name when taking the quiz - it may be possible that some of those who participated in the quiz didn't get their trophy yet. If you are one of these people, don't hesitate to leave a message here (preferably with the name you used when taking the quiz itself if you still remember it) and we'll catch you up.

While it took its sweet time to arrive, the special Detective Pikachu demo that Japan received last month is finally available for Europe and North America. The demo is free to download via the 3DS eShop and covers a portion of chapter 1 from Detective Pikachu.

If you later buy the full retail version the game, you can transfer your progress from the demo to it and continue on your merry way!

Who’s already picked up a copy of Detective Pikachu or plans to try the demo?

It’s been a long road but we’ve finally hit the home stretch of the Ash’s Pikachu event. It should therefore go without saying that Alola Cap Pikachu will be the final distribution, starting today and running until October 30th for copies of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

As with the five previous Cap Pikachu, you can download an Alola Cap Pikachu via the Mystery Gift menu by using the PIKACHU20 code - but only if haven’t already used the code to receive a different Cap Pikachu on your savefile.

It's been 3,000 years...

Or just 4 weeks, but who's counting?

Kalos Cap Pikachu is available now as part of the I Choose You! Ash's Pikachu distribution. Once again, you can use the PIKACHU20 code on Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon via the Mystery Gift menu to download a Kalos Cap Pikachu, from today until October 23rd - but only if you haven't already used the code for a different Cap Pikachu. Only one usage of the code per save file!

(We're almost there, guys!)

Just a quick heads up that the Marshadow distribution has also started in North America now. Like with the Europe distribution (which we recently reported on), you'll need to visit a participating retail store to get a download code for Marshadow.
The Marshadow codes will be available at GameStop in the United States and at EB Games in Canada. Note that despite the official event dates in North America running from October 9th to October 23rd, EB Games Canada has specifically stated "while supplies last" - so don't wait until the last minute to get your codes.
