PokeVentures! Ep. 1, Hatched!
A new day has begun, as the sun rises, the Pidgey start chirping a harmonious song.
Pokemon come out from hiding to greet the new day, except for, of course, the Hoothoot and Noctowl! All the Pokemon are happy and well rested, but something seems wrong... up on the tree, there was something! That "something" happened to be an egg hidden in the leaves! It was a bright blue egg with a spiky black pattern below a yellow stripe. Wait?!?... it's hatching! First a tiny crack, then spreads, soon...***
I open my tiny eyes and push the tiny shells away from my face as sunlight floods
into my eyes. No one was there to support me, I was just alone, standing outside my tiny egg shell. Where were my parents? I was balanced on a high branch and trees surrounded me, and I looked for someone to help me get down, I was frightened and depressed at the same time. Suddenly, from the leaves near my branch came out a Turtwig, a green turtle Pokemon with a sprout growing from it's head! Turtwig said, "Woah, it's a Riolu!"
I had no idea what a Riolu is, but I guess a Riolu looked like me, a black and blue
dog-like Pokemon who stands on it's hind legs."Uh, h-hi, I said, "c-could you help me down from this branch?"
"Oh my! That means you have just hatched!" Turtwig exclaimed as he looked at the broken shell.
"But where are your parents?" Turtwig asked.
"I'm not sure. I was l-looking for th-them!" I stuttered. I couldn't take it much longer and I broke up in tears. I felt Turtwig do the pat-me-on-the-back gesture, Turtwig said,
"Don't worry we will find your parents!"
"R-really?" I asked.
"Yep, but we better get moving!" Turtwig said. Turtwig jumped down from the branch without me!
"Wait, where are we?" I questioned.
"Oh! We are in the Sinnoh Region, buddy!" Turtwig bellowed. I still needed help getting down!
"Come on, jump Riolu!" Turtwig hollered from below. I decided to do it and I leaped off, and amazingly, I gently landed on the soft dirt.
"Woah!" I exclaimed!
"Mhm, Riolu have a special ability to jump like that, they are fighting-type Pokemon." Turtwig assured.
"By the way my name is Leavion, a little French, haha!" Turtwig said.
"Aw, well I don't have a name yet."
Leavion managed to chuckle out, "Let's just call you Rio."
