Happy birthday, Demelza!

It's amusing to me that I'm a writer by nature and virtually never draw anything, yet my first submission to the Creative Corner is a piece of artwork...

Now for a ramble: last night around roughly 1 AM (because what's sleep?), I decided that I wanted to do something special for @Demelza's 20th birthday. I am in no way an artist and personally feel that I have the artistic skills of a young child (tho I'm sure many children draw much better than me!), but regardless I wanted to try drawing something for Dem. A number of my close friends have drawn me thoughtful and/or awesome things for my birthdays and I finally wanted to attempt doing the same for someone else. So earlier this evening I went to it, and this is my end result. Just for the heck of it I've included the final version of my gift art and a version that hadn't yet had the text added to it.

To @Demelza: Birthday Eevee and Senpaichu (a Dedenne/Raichu hybrid), at your service! They're ready to celebrate the day with cake and presents to boot. As for me, I will never stop being grateful and thankful to have you in my life. I love you muchly and hope that this picture puts a smile on your face. May your 20th year on this planet be a lovely one. Happy birthday! ♥
