THURSDAY:
Dear Pokédiary,

It’s me again, little Pokédiary. Did you forget my name already? It’s Jan. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. I just wanted to tell you that we’re finally finished unpacking everything. Mommy said she’s tired, but she had it easy. She had to unload all the boxes and organize all the furniture, but I had to put all my clothes in my dresser. Honestly, she doesn’t even know how lucky she had it.

Today I found out that Miss Flora and Mister Barry are married. They live in Viridian City, which is just past Route 1. I wish I could go there, but the Professor says that Route 1 is filled with wild Pokémon. It doesn’t bother me though, because I make friends with Pokémon very easily. However, mommy and Professor Oak told me they don’t want me going out there, so I won’t.

Oh! I also found out that my new Pokémon friend is called Sunflora. Professor Oak said that Sunflora is very active when it’s nice and sunny, but gets sleepy when it isn’t. Miss Flora told me that Sunflora had been her friend ever since she was my age, but that it was time for her to make a new friend, since she’s not always here now. She let me give her a nickname, too. My Pikachu doll told me I should name her Sunny, so I did.

Guess what else? Mommy says that I’ll be going to Trainer’s School on Monday, and I’m VERY excited for that! I’ll be able to make some new friends and learn more about Pokémon. She said that the Trainer’s School is in Viridan City too, so I may get to see Miss Flora and Mister Barry more often now! I just hope Sunny and my Pikachu doll are able to come with me.

FRIDAY:
Dear Pokédiary,

When I woke up today, there was a bad storm outside. I went downstairs, and mommy told me that the “On-the-spot weather” channel said that everyone should stay indoors for the next two days. That is one big bummer for me, because I am an outside person. Well, I guess I can’t make myself write in you all day, little Pokédiary. Let’s see if I can find some other things to do. After all, it’s only 10:30, so I have a whole day to go.

I was in my bedroom just now, and I heard something tapping on my window, so I got up to see what it was. It was a poor little Murkrow, all wet and cold from the storm. I opened my window and she flew right in. She landed on my desk, and we both looked at each other. I saw she had a golden cross necklace on, so I guess she belongs to someone? She then began shivering very badly. I got my jacket from the closet and wrapped her up with it. She then buried herself in it, and fell fast asleep. Cuuuuute!

I went back downstairs to tell mommy about the Murkrow, but she was on the phone with daddy, and I didn’t want to interrupt her.. I waited for a bit, then when she was done, I told her about the Murkrow. She told me that a tourist lost a Murkrow, and there was a reward for whoever found and returned her. Mommy laughed for a bit, and she said that I don’t even have to lift a finger to have good things happen to me. So... what happens when I lift my finger, then?

SATURDAY:
Dear Pokédiary,

The storm just got worse. We heard that all of Kanto was being hit by it. We also heard that the sewers in Saffron City were flooded, so a bunch of Water Pokémon got in them. I feel bad for Saffron City, and I also feel bad for those Pokémon, because they’ll have to find new homes when the water goes away. I feel the most awful for Sunny, because I haven’t got to see her for two days now. I’m not allowed to go outside even for a minute, so I can forget about checking on her. Stupid storm...

The little Murkrow seems to be feeling better. I’ve been feeding her some Poképuffs, and boy does she like them! I also found out that her nickname is Magpie. I was looking at her cross necklace, and it had the word “Magpie” carved into the back of it. I don’t know what Magpie even means, but it’s probably something cute and cuddly.

I was just looking out my window, and I saw two Pokémon flying through the sky on… clouds? They were very far away, and they both flew off into the distance. When they were totally out of sight, the storm suddenly stopped. I wonder if those Pokémon had anything to do with the storm?

Well, hey, the storm’s over! Too bad it’s bedtime, though. Guess I'll go out and look for Sunny tomorrow.

SUNDAY:
Dear Pokédiary,

My sister April woke us all up this morning. She was crying like an Exploud, and when she does it usually means she’s hungry. Mommy gave her some milk, and she finally stopped crying. I just hope the neighbors didn’t wake up.

Anyway, the first thing I did after breakfast was head outside. Everything was covered with a clear, sparkly dew. It was very beautiful, but I was more interested in finding Sunny at the moment. I took a look through Miss Flora’s garden for her. She wasn’t there, so I checked by the water. She wasn’t there either, so I checked every place I could think of around Pallet Town… no luck. Even my Pikachu Doll had no idea where she was.

I was beginning to worry that she was blown away in the storm. I started to cry, and I ran over to Professor Oak’s lab. I told him that I couldn’t find Sunny, and that I didn’t know what to do. He smiled, reached into his pocket and pulled out a Pokéball. He told me to take it and throw it. I did, and would you believe it, Sunny came out of it!

Professor Oak told me that he had a talk with mommy, and they both thought it was a good idea to have Sunny be my starter Pokémon, so he got Sunny for me early this morning. He said now that she has a Pokéball, I can take her with me wherever I go. He said that I could even bring her with me to Trainer’s School if I wanted. I felt like crying again, only I wasn’t sad. I hugged him, thanked him over and over again, put Sunny back in her Pokéball and went home.

As I left the lab, Magpie suddenly swooped down and landed on my shoulder. I don’t know how she got out of my room, but somehow she did. She had this happy look on her face, so I’m guessing she was trying to say thank you. She didn’t fly away, though, so I’m guessing she wants to stick around. The more the merrier!

I seriously don’t know how this day could have been any better.

    This is adorable~
If I had to give a critique, like you asked, The only thing I would improve on is Jan's detail. I don't think you've included anything on what she's wearing/how she looks like, etc. It's not that much of a big deal as this is a diary, and she's adorable.

@Vaporeonn No, I don't know if I'm going to add any bullying, but there will be some interesting scenarios added into it. I guarantee you're going to like her schooling adventures!

Yaay! Finally you continued it! I was starting to forget about it, though. Sorry..
Anyway, I really like this part, both your writting style, and the time you spend making it long. I can't wait for her first day in school! ( I hope she won't get bullied.. Please don't do that :|)
    Keep it up!

I can imagine a group of friends seeing the 'Pokémon riding on clouds'.
    "Hey look it's a Tornadus!"
"No way, they can only be found in Unova..."
"Are you even gonna bother lo- Oh it's gone."
Anyways, great job! I hope to see more of Jan's adventures!
