Slateport Tournmant, Hoenn (Open to all)

Jacob took a deep breath as he stepped off the boat. Slateport City looked much nicer up close than it did far away; it was certainly a nice place to be visiting. And the best part: Team Plasma was hundreds of miles away. Certainly, he was out of their reach here.

As he left the boat, he headed for the pokemon center. It was very late, and Jacob had been falling in and out of sleep for the past few hours. He found the pokemon center rather quickly, and laid down on one of the couches. He closed his eyes and thought. Tomorrow, he would get up and register for the tournament, the real reason he chose to come to Hoenn. The tournament was open to all those who wanted to enter, which meant there would be a long process of weeding out the weaker trainers. The tournament itself was scheduled to last only a couple weeks, however, and Jacob figured they had a system to keep the action going.

Jacob opened his eyes. It was already light outside. He pulled out his phone. It was almost noon! He had been asleep for nearly 10 hours! It hadn’t felt anything close to that. Jacob pulled himself to his feet and, after saying his “thank you”s to Nurse Joy he headed for the center of town where the tournament was supposed to take place.

It was a nice walk through the city streets. Slateport had a large market that extended all along the main street. Jacob stopped to look at the merhcants’ wares for more than a few minutes before reminding himself that registration closed in a few hours. He arrived at the center of town, and got in line. The line itself was easily fifty people long. Jacob kicked himself. If only he had gotten up earlier; the line would have been much shorter, and he’d be done by now! He could go into the market, and shop like he wanted to. He kicked himself again.

“Hello?” Jacob heard a voice come from behind him. He turned to see a young girl, who couldn’t be much older than he was, standing in line behind him. A Plusle hung off her shoulder, apparently eating lunch.

“Hi,” Jacob responded.

“Hi,” the girl repeated. “I’m Hera; what’s your name?”

“Hera,” Jacob thought to himself. “Like the greek goddess? How odd.” Jacob shook the thought out of his mind. "I’m Jacob.”

“Nice to meet you Jacob,” the girl responded. “So, how many badges you got so far?”

“Badges?”

“Yea, ya know. How many gyms have you beaten?” She tilted her head, her eyes digging into Jacob.

“Uh… none, I suppose.”

“No badges?!?!” The girl covered her mouth as she chuckled. “Man, they really will let anyone join these tournaments.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Jacob only half-joked. This girl was rude.

“I guess it means try not to go up against me in the tournament. Ya know what? If you see me, heading for a battle, just walk the other way! That’s your safest bet, kid!” Hera chuckled again.

“Look, I’ll bet I’m just as good as you if not better!”

“Oh really?” the girl asked. “I have seven badges!”

“That doesn’t mean anything; I’ve never challenged a gym before, that’s true, but that doesn’t mean I’ve got weaker pokemon than you!”

“Yea yea. I guess we’ll see in the tournament, won’t we?”

“I suppose so,” Jacob responded. The line took another step forward. This wait was going to be unbearable.

Just three hours later, Jacob was freed from the line. The sun was already beginning to drop below the horizon, and Jacob decided head back to the pokemon center. The tournament wouldn’t begin until tomorrow, and he was already scheduled for his first match at 9 AM. He would have to get up early the next day to make sure he arrived on time. He wasn’t quite sure what to expect as this was his first time outside of Unova other than a few trips to Kanto on vacation with his family. He had never been to the Hoenn Region before; he knew all of the pokemon of course, but he had never really seen any for real. He became very excited; tomorrow would be a good day. Jacob entered the Pokecenter and collapsed on the nearest couch. He closed his eyes, and willed himself to sleep.

The next morning, Jacob awoke at 6 AM. After a quick bite to eat he rushed towards the center of town. He passed the markets which were just beginning to open. He didn’t stop to look like he had the day before, however. He arrived at the tournament tent in the center of town. The tent itself was huge; large enough to fit not only a full sized stadium, but also to fit stands; enough for more than 100 spectators. The tent reached so high that flying types would have more than enough room to maneuver, and the ground was dirt: perfect for ground types. As Jacob walked in, he realized he recognized one of the trainer’s battling.

To Jacob’s right stood Hera, the trainer he had met in the line the day before. Flying in front of her was a Dustox, flapping her wings very fast. Jacob turned to look at the other side of the field; a Mightyena, belonging to a trainer he didn’t know was breathing heavily. It appeared Hera was winning this match. As Jacob was finishing his assessment, the other trainer gave his next order.

“Mightyena, use bite!” The Mightyena rushed towards Hera and her Dustox as his teeth began to glow.

“Alright, Lola,” Hera commanded. “Use silver wind!” Lola(Dustox) flapper her wings, releasing several blasts of wind energy at the Mightyena. The attack hit, and Mightyena was sent falling to the side. He dropped to the ground, unconscious.

“Mightyena is no longer able to battle. Dustox wins!”

“Yay great job Dustox!” Hera shouted. She rushed over to her pokemon giving her a big hug. She turned to see Jacob watching the match. She returned her pokemon, and walked over to Jacob, her Plusle, Zuni, still on her shoulder. “So yours is the next battle?” Jacob looked down at his watch. It was 9:00.

“Yup, that’s me,” Jacob said happily.

“Well, then, I might just stay and watch!” Hera said, beginning to walk up to the seats. Jacob nodded and sighed. He turned to the battlefield, and walked over to his side. He was staring down another young man, although probably older than him. He looked normal enough, wearing jeans and a T-shirt. Jacob and the man each pulled out a pokeball at the same time, as per the rules. They each released their pokemon.

In a flash of blue Jacob’s Beartic, named Casper, appeared in front of him. Beartic stretched. It had been some time since Jacob had used him. On the other side of the field appeared a Hariyama, who flexed.

“The battle will be between Hariyama and Beartic,” the referee began. “Let the match begin!”

“Hariyama!” Jacob’s opponent began. “Use force palm!” Hariyama rushed forwards, his hand beginning to glow.

“Casper, use ice beam!” Casper fired a beam of ice energy at Hariyama, who quickly used his force palm attack to block the ice beam. The energy on Hariyama’s hand, however, was not enough, and the pokemon’s arm was frozen in ice. “Great, Casper! Now, use Superpower!” Casper began to glow as his muscles became more pronounced. He rushed forwards at Hariyama.

“Hariyama, use close combat!” The fighting type pokemon flexed his muscles as the ice fell away from his arm. He then rushed forward. The two pokemon collided in the center of the field. Hariyama attempted to fire a barrage of punches at Jacob’s Beartic, but Casper merely caught the fighing type’s fists. Hariyama struggled to free himself, but was unable.

“Now, Casper, use Blizzard!” Casper took a deep breath in before releasing a torrent of ice and wind at Hariyama, whose hands were still trapped in the Beartic’s pause. Casper held the pokemon for a bit before releasing Hariyama, sending the pokemon flying two meters in the air before slamming into the ground. Hariyama lay there, unconscious.

“The winner is Beartic!” Jacob nodded as his pokemon looked back at him with a smile. “Well done, Casper!” Jacob recalled his pokemon, and in a flash of red, Casper was gone. Jacob turned to leave, but Hera blocked his path.

“I’ve never seen a pokemon like that!”

“Well, thanks, I guess,” Jacob replied.

“No I mean where did you catch him?” Jacob furrowed his brow.

“The Unova region,” Jacob responded.

“That makes sense. I was pretty sure if they were here in Hoenn I would’ve caught one by now.” Hera chuckled. Jacob turned back to the field.

“Do you want to watch who’s going next?” Jacob asked.

“Sure!” The two trainers sat in the stands as they watched the next two trainers take their places.

_________________________________________________________________________

Jacob breathed out slowly as he released his pokeball. In a flash of blue, Tank, Jacob’s Darmanitan, appeared on the field. Across from him stood his opponent; a Torkoal. Jacob smiled. This would be a fun match; it’s not often two fire types get to battle. Jacob already knew what he was going to do when the referee spoke.

“The match between Torkoal and Darmanitan begins now!”

“Torkoal, use heat wave!” Jacob’s opponent shouted. Torkoal released a beam of fire, spiraling towards Tank(Darmanitan).

“Tank, use Flare Blitz!” Jacob’s Darmanitan was covered in fire as he shot forward like a bullet. The two attacks slammed into each other and cancelled out. Tank dropped back in front of Jacob, his arms smoking from the damage taken from Torkoal’s attack. His opponent had gotten the better of him that time; Jacob couldn’t let that happen again.

“Torkoal, use Lava Plume!” Torkoal released several spheres of lava flying into the air. As he did, he released a gust of smoke, covering the field. Jacob watched helplessly as the lava spheres hit random places on the battlefield.

“Tank, use rollout!” Tank rolled up in a ball and, using the smoke as cover, rolled towards Torkoal.

“Torkoal, use heat wave!” Again Torkoal released a beam of fire towards Tank.

“Dodge it!” Tank swung to the right, dodging Torkoal’s attack, before slamming into the fire-turtle pokemon. The attack was super effective, but Torkoal stood back up with ease. “Hit him again!” Jacob shouted. Before the Torkoal had fully recovered, he was hit again with the attack, this time stronger, and Torkoal fell to the ground once again. “And again!” Jacob shouted. Again the Darmanitan rushed at Torkoal in a ball.

“Torkoal, use shell smash!” Torkoal glowed as a ball of energy surrounded him. He leapt forward, crashing into Tank’s rollout. The attack’s collided, and both pokemon were sent flying backwards.

“Tank!” Jacob shouted as his Darmanitan slide across the ground in front of him. Tank struggled to his feet, breathing heavily. Jacob looked over at his opponent; Torkoal had risen from the ground as well. This Torkoal was powerful, much more powerful than his last opponent.

“Torkoal, Lava Plum!” Again Torkoal prepared to release the attack.

“Tank, use Fire Blitz, quickly!” Tank rushed forward, covered in fire, shooting towards Torkoal. The turtle pokemon released its attack, sending spheres of lava into the air as smoke began to cover the field, but Tank’s aim was true. He slammed into Torkoal, knocking the pokemon off its balance and to the ground. The lava attack fell far away from Jacob’s Darmanitan, as he was standing in the same place Torkoal had released the attack. “Now, use superpower!” Tank glowed blue as he grabbed onto the fallen Torkoal. “Throw him!” Jacob shouted as Tank sent Tokoal flying in the air.

“No Torkoal!” Jacob’s opponent shouted, but it was too late.

“Tank, use hammer arm!” Tank’s arm glowed white as he leapt into the air, slamming his elbow into the falling Torkoal. Torkoal shouted in pain as he fell to the ground. Tank landed facing Jacob, turning to see Torkoal lying on the ground, unconscious.

“Darmanitan is the winner!” The referee exclaimed. Jacob’s smile covered his face as Tank jumped on top of him, knocking him to the ground.

“Great job Tank! How would you feel about exploring Slateport, eh?” Jacob asked. The pokemon nodded happily, grunting a “Dar!” Together, they left the battle tent, and walked through the market. There were all types of items everywhere he could see; from potions to evolution stones to different forms of pokeballs. Jacob had little money, and he decided not to buy anything. Still, Tank enjoyed the market. Jacob forgot how long he had kept the fire type cooped up in his pokeball.

“Ya know what, Tank,” Jacob said to his pokemon. “I think I’m going to let you guys out more often.” The Darmanitan smiled and nodded.

“Darman, Dar, Darmanitan!”

“Sounds good to me,” Jacob responded. He and Tank took a seat on a nearby bench, looking out over the water. He looked at his phone. “It’s about time for Hera’s match to start. Think we should head back?” Tank nodded, and the two of them headed back to the battle tent. They entered to see the battle already under way, Hera on one side with her Tropius, Calvin against some other trainer using a Marshtomp. Hera had the clear advantage here as well. What luck!

“Calvin, use razor leaf!” Hera shouted as her Tropius released a torrent of razor sharp leaves flying towards Marshtomp.

“Marshtomp, use water gun!” The Marshtomp fired the beam of water at the torrent of leaves, attempting to disperse it, but the attack was too weak, and the wave of leaves crashed into Marshtomp, knocking the pokemon out cold.

“Marshtomp is unable to battle,” the referee said quickly. “Tropius wins!” Hera leapt up and down with glee. Jacob walked over to her.

“Well done again,” Jacob commended. “Although, you got lucky with the typing there.” Hera nodded.

“I suppose,” she said. “So did you win your battle? Sorry I missed it.” Jacob smiled.

“Of course! You can’t get rid of me that easily!” He joked. “I think there’s only one more match today, wanna watch?”

“Yea sure,” Hera replied as she recalled her Tropius. Together, the two of them took a seat in the stands, watching as the next two trainers took their places.

____________________________________________________________________________

“Let’s go, Voltaire!” Jacob shouted as both he and his opponent released their pokeballs. In a flash of bue, Jacob’s Eelektross named Voltaire appeared in front of him. On the other side of the field appeared a Shiftry.

“Let the battle between Shiftry and Eelektross begin!” The referee announced. Jacob was worried; he had a strong type disadvantage.

“Voltaire, use zap cannon!” Voltaire’s hands glowed as a ball of electric energy was created between them. He threw the ball of electricity at the Shiftry, who easily dodged the attack.

“Shiftry, use razor leaf!” Shiftry released a wave of razor sharp leaves flying towards Voltaire.

“Voltaire, use discharge!” Jacob’s Eelektross released electric energy in every direction. The electric energy dispersed the razor leaf attack, sending the leaves dropping to the ground. “Now, use crush claw!” Voltaire’s claws glowed blue as he leaped towards Shiftry.

“Shiftry, use brick break!” Shiftry’s arm glowed brown as he swung forward. The two attacks collided, causing a small explosion. When the smoke cleared, Shiftry lay on the ground, with Voltaire standing over him.

“Voltaire, finish this with discharge!” Voltaire released electric energy again in every direction. The attack hit Shiftry, , and the pokemon writhed on the ground before falling unconscious.

“The winner is, Eelectross!” The crowd cheered. Apparently, this round of the tournament had gathered a group of people who wanted to watch; after all there were only a few rounds left until the champions got to battle.

Jacob walked off the field, and Hera ran up to him.

“Another great fight,” she commented.

“Thanks,” Jacob replied. Hera had already fought her battle and won earlier in the day; now she was just waiting for Jacob to finish. Jacob had the last battle of the day, and the lights were being turned off as the audience was escorted out of the tent. Jacob and Hera headed back to the pokemon center; tomorrow was second to last round of the tournament, and both of them would need their rest. Jacob fell asleep easily that night, thinking about his next battle.

Dakota was laying in some grass under a tree. She has been to several Tournaments and was excited to be here at Hoenn. I should probably register soon, she thought but it was interrupted when she was pounced on by her Ninetales. "Really?" She coughed up as she sat up, pushing the fox-like pokemon off of her. "Nine!" The fire type pokemon chirped. Dakota rolled her green eyes and got up. "Lets go register."

Dakota watched on the screen the battle that Jacob had just won, she already finished her first battle. She then shrugged and went to the inn she was staying in. She walked up the stairs and to her room, unlocking the door she tossed three pokeballs in the air. Her Ninetales, Absol, and Umbreon coming out. "Ready to sleep for the night?" She asked her pokemon who all nodded in agreement. Dakota crawled into her bed and closed her eyes, slowly drifting to sleep.

Early that morning, the red-haired trainer was out jogging. Her Umbreon next to her as she jogged. Once back at the inn she quickly showered and got ready. She slipped her leather jacket on her and tied her black shoes up. She returned Umbreon and walked to where the Tournament was being held. She talked to a few other trainers, she was fairly known through the Johto and Kanto regions for battling and being a tough opponent. She rubbed the back of her neck a bit as she talked.

Ring. Ring. RING! Jacob woke with a jolt. He looked at his clock. He had slept through his first alarm; thank god he had set another. Jacob quickly got dressed, a little sloppier than normal. He rushed out the door, almost forgetting his pokemon, which he quickly picked up from Nurse Joy on his way out. He rushed past the market in Slateport; he didn’t have time to stop for breakfast. As he fast-walked towards the large tent, he thought about which pokemon he should use. No one got to choose their pokemon first, so type advantages were generally irrelevant. He had had great success with Voltaire(Eelektross), but he wasn’t sure he would want to use him again.

Jacob continued his thought process as he entered the tent. At this early hour, Jacob didn’t expect many trainers, but off in the far corner of the room, away from the stadium, stood a group of people. Jacob walked over to them. They all seemed to be surrounding one person. Jacob wondered who it could be when he recognized Hera on the outside of the crowd. He walked over to his friend and asked her a question.

“What’s going on here?” He asked. Hera gave him a disappointed look before turning back to the group.

“That’s Dakota,” Hera responded without looking back at Jacob.

“Who’s Dakota?” Jacob replied naively.

“She’s…. she’s a trainer who made her way through Kanto and Johto; she’s pretty well known. I’m surprised you haven’t heard of her.” Jacob nodded along. Of course he hadn’t heard of her; he hadn’t really been keeping up on tournaments in far off regions. Still, it would be fun if he was able to battle her at some point. It was obvious that he wouldn’t get any face time with her now any way.

“The next match will begin in five minutes,” a voice roared from over the speaker system. “Trainers, please prepare yourselves and take your positions.” Jacob turned towards the field, and began softly treading on the grass. He didn’t have time to wonder who he’d be facing; he hadn’t even chosen what pokemon he’d be using. And now he only had a few minutes! Quickly, Jacob picked a pokeball from his bag. He smirked as the voice in the speakers alerted the tent; the battle was about to begin.

Jacob stepped into his small square on the edge of the field, and looked up to face his opponent. It was Hera. Jacob opened his eyes wide at the surprise, but Hera just laughed at him. “Alright then,” he thought. “Time to show her what I’m worth.” Jacob released the pokeball in his hand, and in front of him appeared Ruxpin, his Stoutland. Hera threw her own pokeball, and in a flash of blue, her Milotic, named Nairobi, appeared.

“This match is between Milotic and Stoutland! Let the match begin!” The referee shouted, and immediately Hera began.

“Nairobi, use water pulse!” The Milotic swung her neck around gracefully before releasing a ball of water towards Ruxpin(Stoutland).

“Ruxpin,” Jacob replied almost instantly. “Use thunderbolt!” Ruxpin glowed with electric energy as he released a bolt that broke through the ball of water, dispelling the attack. The bolt continued forward, flying at Nairobi(Milotic).

“Nairobi, dodge it!’ The pokemon moved faster than lighting, swiftly and smoothly avoiding the attack. “Now, use disarming voice!” Nairobi released sound waves in the shape of hearts at Ruxpin as she inched closer. The attack hit, and Ruxpin recoiled as he stood his ground.

“Ruxpin, use giga impact!” Jacob’s Stoutland glowed as he lifted himself off the ground and into the air. The pokemon leaned back before shooting forwards.

“Nairobi, aqua tail!” The Milotic leapt forward, swing her tail, surrounded by water, at Ruxpin. The attacks collided, and an explosion sent both pokemon falling backwards. Ruxpin slid to a halt in front of Jacob. He was breathing heavily already. Jacob would need to end this soon; Ruxpin did not have the speed or durability to keep up with Hera’s Milotic. “Nairobi, use Hydro Pump!” Now was Jacob’s chance. A long range attack would allow his Stoutland to use his most powerful attack, and regain the upper hand. All he had to do was give the command. But he couldn’t. He paused. He didn’t want to beat Hera that way. No but if he didn’t do it quick…

“Ruxpin, use Hyper Beam!” Jacob shouted. But it was too late; the Hyrdo Pump hit Ruxpin dead on, smashing him into the far wall. Ruxpin fell to the ground, unable to move.

“Stoutland is unable to battle: Milotic wins!” Hera jumped up and down in the air happily, before running out to hug her pokemon like she always did. Jacob couldn’t believe it; he had lost. And for no good reason too. But at least Hera was happy, he thought. Jacob and Hera cleared the field as the next trainers prepared for battle.

Dakota finished up at the PC. She just transferred out some pokemon. She heard her name and smiled slightly. She hooked the pokeballs onto her belt and shoved her hands into her leather jacket's pockets. She nodded to a few people and she made her way to the battle field. Once she made there she looked at her opponent, her opponent smirked at her which she rolled her eyes in response. "Can we get this over with?" She muttered more to herself, and as if to answer her the announcer told them to start.

Her opponent threw out a pokemon and sent out a Linoone. Dakota tipped her head slightly and tossed out her own pokeball, Arcanine came out with a growl. She heard some people cheer Arcanine's name but ignored it. Her opponent rolled his eyes and sent his pokemon out to attack with Fury Swipes. "Block it with Fire Blast," she ordered. Arcanine opened her mouth and sent the blazing attack out at Linoone, blocking and injuring the pokemon from attacking the Kanto pokemon. "Now, use Iron Tail." Dakota yawned as her fire pokemon took off and smacked her large tail against Linoone, her opponent's normal type pokemon fainted on the spot.

Dakota blinked in slight shock but shrugged. "That was boring," she stated. "Linoone is unable to battle! Arcanine wins!" She heard the crowd cheer as she returned her fire type pokemon. "Good job Arcanine," she muttered to her pokeball before putting it back on her waist. She then waved to her opponent who glared at her.

Jacob watched through the end of Dakota’s battle before leaving the battle tent. He was still sour over his loss, and he needed to take a walk. It was always Ruxpin, he thought to himself. Jacob’s Stoutland, named Ruxpin, was always the pokemon that lost; he generally decided not to use the pokemon for that very reason. Although, he guessed this time it was at least partly his own fault; how could he have paused in the middle of battle?

Jacob was thinking his last battle out when something caught his eye. Several men wearing the same clothes, heading the way Jacob had come from. Jacob didn’t notice them until they had just about passed them. He turned to get a closer look. They all wore white and blue stripped shirts with blue bandanas. This was the sort of thing Team Plasma did, Jacob thought. What were these men doing? He studied them for a minute longer before deciding to follow them.

Jacob had followed several Team Plasma agents before in Unova, and he knew that caution was key. He carefully watched from behind several buildings, or in a mix with crowds until he realized what was really happening; they were heading towards the battle tent! Jacob watched as the three he was following met up with a larger group right outside the tent. The group of nearly a dozen agents released their pokemon before entering the tent. Jacob rushed to the tent after them, but something caught him across the chest.

He looked up to see a Kecleon, standing in front of a Team Aqua grunt. Jacob grunted as he pulled himself up off the ground.

“Just hand over your pokemon,” the grunt said slowly. “Your’re surrounded.” Jacob looked around but saw nothing.

“It’s just you and me here,” Jacob responded before releasing a pokeball. At his side, Voltaire, his Eelektross, appeared. “Voltaire, use discharge!” Voltaire began to glow with electric energy as he stared down Kecleon, but before he could release the charge he was hit by something Jacob couldn’t see. Voltaire stood back up, only to be hit again. Jacob was confused, but he thought for a moment. Then he realized: he was surrounded by Kecleon, hiding in their camouflage. That was their plan; scare the trainers in the ten out with some shock troops, and then attack with the invisible Kecleon.

Jacob looked over at Voltaire. His pokemon was struggling to his feet after being knocked down again. What could he do?

"Jade (Venasuar) use sweet scent!" Dusk, one of the trainers called out as he watched the Keckleon materilize.

"Jade, now use grass knot!" Dusk called again, as he watched Vines come out of the ground and trap the grunts and there pokemon.

Jacob didn't recognize the trainer who's Venasaur had just helped him; he had no idea where the trainer had come from, but he was glad to have the help. That trainer was the diversion Jacob needed.

"Voltaire, let's go!" Voltaire(Eelektross) took off into the air, out of the reach of the Kecleon. "Now, use discharge!" Voltaire glowed blue with electric energy before releasing electric charges in multiple directions. Several Kecleon were hit, including two that had until then remained out of Jacob's sight. Jacob smiled.

However, he was quickly whacked from behind; a Kecleon used slash, creating an open cut on Jacob's back. He flinched in pain. Before turning around. He needed more help; there were too many.

"Greninja surf clear the area, aegislash your on search and destroy find the Kecleon and alert the others, gliscor charizard your our air support. Kangaskan go mega then power up punch and alakazam you are on protecting our assets. On my mark, three, two, one, mark!" Jake ordered as his Pokemon leapt from their poke balls, every Pokemon knew what they had to do

after less than 2 minutes all grunts and kecleon were unconscious and or tied up ready for officer Jenny to come and arrest them.
"2 minutes, 2 minutes guys we are getting sloppy" jake joked as he put each Pokemon back in their respective pokeball and returned them to his backpack
"But really guys great work today"

"Hi I'm from the GFD team, I've been tracking those grunts for over a month, now for those grunts to get what they deserve we need evidence and thanks to this incident i now have everything i need, thank you for your cooperation" jake said to Jacob as he walked away.

"And try not to let it happen again"

Dakota had watched the fighting and was about to step in but then Jake took over she stayed back. She held back a huff as Jake walked away. She silently walked over to Jacob, looking at his back. "Well, that was stupid to try to take all of them on at once," she muttered but opened her bag up, wrapping some gauge around his body to stop any bleeding. She rolled the gauge back up and stuffed it in her bag, the red-head nodded to Dusk before walking off.

(OOC: Okay.... fine whatever this RP is over then I guess. @Frontier Master: please don't do that next time. You literally posted once and defeated all the bad guys in your post, leaving no wiggle room for anyone else to do anything.)

Jacob blinked a few times. What the hell was going on? Once trainer had released all of his pokemon, and defeated every invisible threat on the field; how could he see all the Kecleon? Jacob didn't know, and decided not to question it. He began walking forward. Where would he go now? The tournament was over; they'd have to cancel the rest of the battles, or at least postpone them while the police works out the issues with Team Aqua. For now, Jacob decided he would go to the pokecenter, and from there, who knows.

Dakota was standing outside of the poke-center. Getting a talk down by her sister, who looked alike to her. Just taller, older, and shorter hair. Dakota had her hands behind her head and was leaned back, mostly ignoring her sister's babbling and lecturing. She was trying to figure out, where the hell did her sister come from?! All the way from Unova?! Then something clicked, her father. He must've sent her here to make sure the red-haired trainer didn't get in trouble. But he's back in Kanto..so why wouldn't he just come down instead of sending her sister? Ever since her parents split, Dakota's family is in mostly all of the regions. Her father in Kanto, Dakota usually in Johto, her sister in Unova, and finally her mother in Sinnoh.

Brooke carried a Furret bundled up in her arms as she made her way to the Pokecenter. She'd been watching the tournament, as she wasn't confident enough with her team's strength yet to enter, and she'd been caught off guard when the Team Aqua grunts arrived and began attacking people. Cupcake, her Furret, had been out of her Pokeball at the time to watch the battles and she had tried to defend Brooke from Team Aqua. Unfortunately, that didn't end very well, and she'd ended up getting knocked out by a Carvanha. At least none of her other Pokemon had gotten hurt.

The young trainer carried her Furret in and handed her to Nurse Joy, then went and took a seat on one of the sofas. She fiddled with her light brown hair, twirling it around her finger as she worried about her Furret. Eventually she decided on sending out one of her Pokemon to try and soothe her worries. She grabbed one of the Pokeballs from her bag, not really caring who she sent out, and ended up getting Monsieur Blobby, or Blobs as she usually called him, her Swalot. One of the first Pokemon she'd actually caught herself.

Brooke's face broke out into a grin as she enveloped the squishy Pokemon in a hug, which elicited a confused 'Swal?' from Blobs. Most people were a little confused when she said that Monsieur Blobby was one of her favourite Pokemon. The Furret made sense, in their eyes. It was a cute, fluffy, adorable thing. Girls like that. But Swalot? Brooke just thought that they should keep their opinions to themselves. She's allowed to like whatever Pokemon she wants, and she'll tell that to anyone who wants to question the Swalot, or even the Dunsparce, that she had on her main team.

Infact, most of the things on her team didn't seem like a young girl would want them. Apart from the Furret, the rest of her team seemed a little odd when paired with her. Swalot, Dunsparce, Luxray, Dodrio and Tropius. Of course, a lot of them had been given to her by her brother, who traveled around the different regions a lot. But, Monsieur Blobby and Summer, her Tropius, had been caught by herself, here in Hoenn. And of course there were more in the PC, but she wasn't too bothered about them. Her main team was the ones she was closest to, and the ones that she considered her favourites.

After ignoring most of her sister's talk down she disappeared into the center. Annoyed she went to the PC and switched out her pokemon once again. Regaining most of her Hoenn team, except for two other pokemon. The four Hoenn pokemon she has Flygon, Absol, Gardevoir, and Seviper. She sat down on a chair and let Seviper out, who hissed at different strangers. "Seviper," Dakota warned who quickly turned around to stare at her trainer.
