Exciting news for Pokémon fans today as two big announcements have been made. Starting off with one of the biggest for Pokémon fans in the US; It has been revealed that the Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, a live orchestral concert, will be going on tour in the US. So far only two dates for the tour have been confirmed.

The first date is August the 15th in Washington, which is also the day before the Pokémon Video Game World Championships take place. The second date is for the 19th of September in Philadelphia.

More dates and locations for the event will be confirmed at a later date. The concert will be playing a range of music from across the six generations of Pokémon. To find out more check out the official Pokémon site right here.

In news which will please anime fans, the first 23 (16 in the UK) episodes of the Pokémon X & Y series of the anime have been uploaded to iTunes in the US and UK.

The release has been split into volumes, with volume 1 including 12 episodes and volume 2 including 11 episodes (4 episodes so far in the UK for this volume). Each volume costs £19.99, but each episode can be bought on its own for £2.49

Hopefully this is a sign that more seasons of the anime will be coming to iTunes. If nothing else we'll be able to continue buying the XY series, as episodes will be added as they air.
