One, Two, Three, Show Time!

Platinum breathed in the fresh air of the city once he made it to Alamos. He was actually getting tired of all of the wood and tree smell of the forest.

"First things first," The blue eyed boy said, a flash of red light shining, and a Glaceon appearing, as if it was its cue.

They both nodded to eachother, and ran off towards the Contest Hall. He got himself registered, and accepted the given case balls and seals. Platinum headed to the Pokecenter afterwards, handing his pokeballs to Nurse Joy an heading upstairs to his room for the night - setting down his bags on the bed. The Contest was the next day, if he wasn't mistaken, so he definitely was going to stay overnight to try to get some sleep.

Platinum head back down to the main lobby of the Center, and thanked nurse joy for healing his Pokemon, and accepting the pokeballs back. He sat at one of the tables, many thoughts racking his brain.

The coordinator already had many combos for almost all of his Pokemon, but which ones would he use for the Dual-Pokemon Contest the next day? He knew it was major procrastination, but tried not to think of the short time he had. Platinum sat and sat, figuring it out.

Dakota gotten out of the showers and was in the pokemon center. She had gotten her pokemon back from Nurse Joy. She rubbed one pokeball with the seal on it. She just had registered. She put her pokeballs away and went to her PC. She talked to her father from Hoenn on the phone. Unsure if she should transfer any pokemon.

"You told me that you were going to try to win Top Coordinator in Sinnoh using mostly Sinnoh pokemon, so why should you use Hoenn pokemon during the contests?" He questioned her. Dakota sighed and said her goodbyes and hung up. She went to a table and set all of her pokeballs out, staring at the balls. She didn't favor dual contests much.

Platinum looked up, hearing a familiar voice. It was Dakota, and she seemed to be going through the same dilemma he was. This made him smile, but also made him fearful. Yeah, they were at somewhat level playing fields, both of them not knowing which to choose, but that also meant anything could happen. There was no way of figuring out the red head's plan if the windows were open for any pokemon.

He sorted through his as well. It took him a couple of long moments, until he finally thought of not only the 4 pokemon that would catch the judge's eye, but also something to show Dakota. A message, that he was in the running too, and would not easily give up.

Platinum had chosen. He stood, and carried all 5 of his pokeballs back up to his room. After showering, he laid in his bed, excited for the morning.

Dakota realized what four pokemon could capture the judges' eyes'. She put all her pokeballs back into her bag and got up. A smirk played on her face. "Tomorrow is going to be interesting," she murmured to herself as she left the pokemon center and back to her sister's house.

Mean while the Umbreon was sleeping under the loose floorboard, under his very much loved quilt.

He had dragged a pillow from a yard sale and brought it under the floorboard as a bed a few weeks ago.

He snoozed quietly under the heavy blanket.

Platinum woke up. Well, more like tossed his body over the edge of his bed. He layed there sprawled on the ground of his Pokecenter floor, but a smile crept on his face.

The white haired boy stood to his feet, his hair shaggy and spiked up. Platinum made his bed, and fixed himself up with the normal hygienic care.

He got dressed and decided to head out, due to him oversleeping, the Contest was in an hour and he hadn't even realized.

Izerack walked into the contest hall, an hour early, ready for the dual pokemon contest and really excited to rip people's faces off and wreck the competition like the other contests. After all, that's why part of him is famous. He was usually early like this so he wouldn't get bombarded with screaming fan girls and boys and so he went to a reserved room so he wouldn't get crowded at the contest halls.

((OOC: hey Platinum can you and Dakota go first? I don't really like going first at things sometimes (don't ask) so you guys are welcome to go first))

The Umbreon heard footsteps above him.

He grumbled as he looked through a hollowed out knot hole.

He saw a the yung man from before and groaned while rolling his eyes.

He grabbed his blanket and curled back up again.

Jake sat beneath a tree in the forest his black hair a mess from him dozing off and moving in his sleep, he stood up, stretched his arms and got straight to business today was the only day he had time to train on.

"Kangaskan gliscor your up" releasing both Pokemon from their contest sealed pokeballs.
"Gliscor use earthquake then rockslide"
"Kangaskan need you to dodge each obstacle and use power up punch to smash it"
Both Pokemon moved with superb grace and power gliscor creating and throwing the stones around the field while kangaskan smashed them all into a fine glittering dust.
"Now gliscor use whirlwind to control the glitter stones and make a tornado"
"Kanga use aerial ace and run in the opposite rotation to the stone winds"
As the two winds forced the glittering dust to seem to hover in mid air the changing sunlight in the forest caused each stone to shine in magnicent different colours.
"Now the finale gliscor use gust to force the glitter stones onto kanga And kanga strike a pose"
As the shining dust came in contact with kangaskan the pressure from the strong gusts forced it to re form as solid shining stone body armours on kanga who struck the pose of similar to one currently on display in a kalos region museum
-Pokemon returning from battle-
"Perfect, just perfect, great work guys

[ I'm horrible at going first, so Platinum? cx ]

Dakota was already up and ready to go. She was in her contest outfit as she sat down. She eyed the other contestants that were there. Her green eyes gleamed with excitement. She looked through her pokeballs, even though she already knew who she was going to pick she just wanted to look to make sure they were all there.

Platinum, in his quite snazzy contest outfit as well, sat in the coordinator-in-waiting room, watching the large TV in the center as the hit introduced herself and explained how the contest would go.

He bit his lip as she announced who would go first, and with his luck - it was him.

The white haired boy stood and left the room, heading down the hall, behind the large red curtains, which opened.

Platinum looked and saw the large crowd. He waved to the audience as he walked to his spot on the contest field. He then threw out his two chosen pokeballs.

They both opened, light streams shining from each of them. One of them had stars surrounding the light, and the other had leaves. The streams swirled around each other, and finally landed on the stage.

Cyndaquil and Beautifly then appeared. These two were sure to do the best they could, and both were eager.

"Cyndaquil, Swift!" Platinum called out.

The fire shrew Pokemon than began rapidly spinning, shooting out quick spinning stars, surrounding Beautifly in many different ways.

"Morning Sun!" Platinum added.

Beautifly chirped its name, light coming down and causing Beautifly and the swift stars to shine brightly.

"Now use Gust, Beautifly! Cyndaquil, Ember!" The boy then exclaimed.

The butterfly Pokemon then flapped its graceful wings, wind being released, making the stars circle around her in staggered layers. Cyndaquil then shot out the multiple flames - each landing on each of the stars, causing them all to gain a red aura, giving out a vermillion light around the arena.

Platinum then bowed to the judge's and audience as the move finished with the attack fizzling into glimmers. He returned his Pokemon, thanking them, and making his way back out of the curtain as the crowd let out their cheers.

Dakota watched Platinum and his pokemon. She felt a grin form on her face as she realized even more how much of a competition he would be against her. She stood up and looked in a mirror, making sure she looked good. She then heard her name.

Dakota walked out the doors and congratulated Platinum. She took her spot on the contest field. She took in a deep breath and flashed a smile at the crowd before tossing two pokeballs out. Luxray and Blaziken both flipped and landed perfectly. A look of excitement on their faces. "Let's get this done," the red-head murmured.

"Ember," she spoke quickly and efficiently. Blaziken answered her command and opened his mouth, sending the fiery sparks out. "Iron Tail now Luxray!" Luxray called out and jumped up, her tail turning into a silvery-gray color as she hit the Ember, separating them into fiery explosions. Blaziken then stepped behind his trainer. "Fire Spin while standing still."

Even though it was a danger, Dakota didn't care. Blaziken carefully consumed himself and his trainer in flames, making sure not to burn her. "Now Thunderbolt!" Luxray smirked and shot the attack into the flames, the flames just took in the attack, now having a golden-yellow gleam to the flames.

"Hyper Beam Luxray!" Dakota's voice was heard from the thunder flames. The Sinnoh electric pokemon opened her mouth and shot the attack up. "Fire Punch!" "Blaze!" The Hoenn starter cried out and leaped up, hitting Luxray's attack head on. Everything exploding, but in a pretty way.

Dakota now wasn't engulfed in flames, but not one burn on her skin. She waved and grinned to the crowd. She winked before returning her pokemon and running off stage.

The Umbreon groaned loudly as he heard the contestant shout out commands.

He nearly got his fur singed off by the fire attack.

A loud growl could be heard from underneath the stage.

Jacob sat in the crowd, watching the contest. These coordinators were impressive; watching them definitely helped with his pokemon battle withdraw. Jacob had moved to Sinnoh close to a month ago; it was out of Team Plasma’s reach, so he’d be safe. But he had been having trouble finding outlets for his pokemon, who were growing restless. Jacob felt the same way. Watching these contests often gave Jacob a bit of relief. He clapped for Dakota’s performance. A Blaziken and a Luxray; they would make for a fun match. Jacob ran through nearly every combination of his own pokemon that he might use against them, but reminded himself he wouldn’t be battling. Jacob turned to Voltaire, his Eelektross, who sat beside him.

“What do you think, Voltaire?” The pokemon nodded happily. “Yea, that’s what I thought,” Jacob said, turning back to the contest. Voltaire liked everything; never was there a performance lost on him. Jacob hunched over his seat. “I hope you really are enjoying this, Voltaire; your turn’s almost up.” Voltaire looked at Jacob, but only briefly before turning back to the show.

Dakota watched the contest go on from afar. She wasn't hiding in the dressing rooms like most of the other contestants, she wanted to see her rivals compete, she usually didn't like watching them from the screen. The red-haired coordinator yawned and put her hands behind her head, her outfit was kinda like a rock star outfit. Black skinny jeans that were ripped up, black combat boots, a small, tight, and black sleeveless top that showed off a lot of her stomach. Then her normal leather jacket. Her green eyes lazily went around the watchers.

The Umbreon got out of his den in the floor, and decided to scavenge for food.

He tried to jump up on a cabinet, but tipped it over instead.

As he did so, he saw the trainer from before in the woods.

He landed on his feet quietly, but cringed when the cabinet tipped over, slamming into the wood floors with a loud Thud.

Dakota tensed and swiftly turned on her heels. She noticed the Umbreon who tried to trick her earlier. She narrowed her green eyes and tipped her head slightly. "What are you doing?" She said quietly, hoping not to disturbed anyone.

( OOC: SO sorry for my absence :'| some things came up and Fourth of July was recently so everything kind of filled my mind and schedule )

Platinum sat back in the Coordinator-In-Waiting / Dressing room, watching the contest go on on the screen. He was allowed to go out into the audience now that he already did his performance, but he was actually scared.

Platinum saw Dakota's performance, and it was amazing - and he knew that wasn't the only trick up her sleeve. The white haired boy could only hope to at least make it to the next round.

The Umbreon growled a little as he backed up into another shelf, and it came toppling onto the klutz of a pokemon.

He whimpered a bit as he tried to break free, but was profusely stuck.

Dakota sighed and quietly helped the Umbreon out of his stuck position. She quickly put everything back. She then looked down at the dark eeveelution and tipped her head. "Be careful next time," she quietly murmured before going back and watching the show.
