• A reminder: If you want to ask an RP thread creator if you can join their RP, do so in private - via conversation or profile messages - or via the thread's discussion thread, if one exists. Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

This is clearly stated in our RP forum rules. If you've not read them yet, do so BEFORE posting anything in the RP forums. They may be found here (for Pokémon Role Play) or here (for General Role Play). Remember that the Global Rules of Pokécharms also apply in addition to these rule sets.

Mountain Climbing (open)

Jacob raised his arms to protect his face from the cold winds. Snow was falling all around, and the wind had kept slapping him in the jaw. Jacob wished he had brought something to cover his face with, but he couldn’t very well turn back now. He continued, dragging his feet through the foot and a half of snow that had already accumulated on the side of the mountain. A small piece of ice had slipped into his left boot early on his climb, and now one of his feet was wet. He was beginning to lose feeling in his toes when he decided to stop.

He walked over to a steep cliff that rose to the peak, and, after clearing a space of snow, he sat with his back to the cliff. Jacob quickly fashioned a thick wall of snow, nearly a meter high to protect him from the wind. He continued working for nearly fifteen minutes, creating a small, igloo like structure, although it had no roof. He had been climbing the mountain for nearly two days now, after traveling through the rest of the Hoenn region for the past two weeks. His mission from Team Rocket was to find and capture a legendary pokemon, and he had been on one’s trail for the past few days.

But he had lost the trail after following the pokemon into the mountains. Now he was just lonely, lost, and tired. He longed for his old pokemon team; these new pokemon he had been training with since he joined to Team Rocket had odd personalities that he was not yet accustomed to. Besides that, he didn’t want any of them to have to brave the storm, as none of them were pokemon naturally accustomed to such conditions.

As he closed his eyes to go to sleep, he heard the crunch of snow from behind him. He swung his neck around to see who had made the noise.

A lone trainer walked up shivering and covered in cloth wraps. He gave out a weak scream as he fell to the ground, a strange bundle falling from his jacket. It quivered violently for a while before it too stopped moving. They'd passed out from the cold.

Skiddo leaped up the mountainside. Her hooves barley touched the snowy floor as she climbed up to her warm cave. After a few minutes, she came across two trainers. She realized that they were freezing. "Skid!" She called, trying to tell the humans to follow her.
