Overall: My favorite evolutionary line is Charizard's even though I'm not a big fan of Charmeleon.

• Fire: Fennekin - ♥ foxes!! ♥
• Water: Oshawott - I also like otters
Overall: Fennekin, foxes being my #1 favorite animal, it's no surprise that Fennekin takes the spot

Mid Stage:
• Grass: Servine - it's so adorable in Amie! favorite grass starter
• Fire: Braixen - ♥ foxes!! it's so cute ♥
• Water: Dewott - favorite water starter too, otters are fun and cute
Overall: kind of hard between Dewott & Braixen, I love both, still foxes are favorite animals of mine, and Braixen is also my #3 favorite Pokemon. Braixen takes it

Fully Evolved:
• Grass: Serperior - awesome design, great in Amie
• Fire: Delphox - once again ♥ Foxes!! ♥ (see my username)
• Water: Swampert - I may like Samurott, but Swampert took this vote
Overall: Easily, Delphox, same reason as above, foxes are my most favorite animals in real life, and it's how I based all my favorite Pokemon (on their real life animal)

Overall: from the starters, Braixen is my most favorite: cutest design, based on a fox, it's my 3rd favorite Pokemon, has really cute and adorable animations both in game and in Amie.

I started playing Platinum, and I chose it, and it just happened. ;P

Buuuuttt, I have to say Infernape is pretty rad and I enjoyed having it on my team. Monkeys for the wiiiinnnn!!!!

Water Starter: Mudkip, big fan of Wooper and that was the whole reason I wanted Mudkip.
Fire Starter: Cyndaquil/Fennekin, Cyndaquil was my first and Fennekin is just so darn cute!
Grass Starter: Turtwig, he's so adorable! Completely underrated grass starter in my opinion.
Overall: Cyndaquil, First ones always got a special place.

Favorite Evolutionary Line- I would have to say the Cyndaquil line. Cyndaquil is cute, Quilava looks even cuter, and Typhlosion is a beast.

My favorite Pokemon starter (official starter anyway) is Charmander, not because Charizard is awesome looking and has two mega evolutions but because Charmander itself in the anime made me smile as it grew from abandoned little fire baby to champion fire frenzy. When you can give a non-human character such good development within a series, including the rebellion of Charmeleon and Charizard, you give the character depth.

That said, if we were including the starters from Yellow version Pikachu hands down.

My favourite starter line overall is probably the Totodile line because my god Totodile is cute, Croconaw's markings remind me of the Flintstones which amuses me, and then there's Feraligatr. There are few that can stand up to the might of this Pokemon - seriously it looks like it could rip your face off no problem and its just too cool. I need a mega for it, so much, but at the same time I'm terrified that they won't do this magnificent creature justice. I'm going to leave this line out of any other favourites because obviously they win in all categories and repeating yourself is boring.

First stage grass has got to be Bulbasaur - its just so freaking cute! Venusaur is kinda meh sadly though, otherwise this might be my favourite line (actually, there's a lot of cases where this happens). Fire goes to Charmander again due to cuteness and because I'm biased towards reptiles, and water is Oshawott for reasons that shouldn't need to be stated.

For second stage, all of these guys could have easily been my favourite line except I'm not particularly fond of their final stage: Grovyle was the first starter of my first game of Pokemon ever, and I was completely in love with it until it evolved. I restarted my entire game straight afterwards, that's how disappointed I was at the lack of epic grass dragon. Dewott is again amazingly adorable and a pretty cool concept - I love that it uses is scallops as weapons, and finally Braxien, again for being cute and awesome.

The final stage is the hardest to decide honestly. Chesnaught gets grass because its design is probably one of my favourite across all the games, water would have to go to Greninja because come on its a freaking ninja with tongue scarf and its very useful in battle, and fire is where I get kinda stuck - I like both Blaziken and Infernape, and I can't decide because Blaziken is such a powerhouse in battle, but Infernape's design is amazing. But then having said that Mega Charizard Y is also amazing so yeah I dunno on that one, too many to choose really.

I usually go for water and I love Totadile. Froakie is great too. I agree with Tak though, if we included all starters, Pikachu would be up there.
