They are, it's a normal part of running a moderated community. If your story was deleted, the staff member in question should have issued a warning telling you what you did wrong and why. That would have come through as a Private Cpnversation, which you can get to through your inbox in the top right corner.

Well I had some swearing in one of my stories.I just got angry.

I never got a message or anything it was just gone.

I think that might have been my handiwork - I must have forgotten to apply an actual warning.

Re: written works, the corner rules state that "Anything posted should be the finished work, and be of a decent length. " If a work ISN'T finished and/or isn't of decent length, it WILL be removed. I don't quite remember your particular work but it probably tripped on that particular rule.

Tl;dr, my bad - I should have applied an appropriate warning - I will MOST CERTAINLY do next time. XP

Backing up your works in progress is your responsibility, not ours.

Basically, on the Corner, when we delete something, it's actually deleted - unlike some other parts of the site, we can't fish it out again.

In future, make sure to save stories on your computer as well as on here!

I suggest actually writing things on a proper word processor (or notepad if you can't get your claws on some kind of office-equivalent) and saving often as opposed to writing things directly on ANY website. Would save you a lot of grief in the future too in case, say, the browser explodes mid-writing.

Meh... Ill just make it over again like I do every time.
