Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
If you're put into full Read Only, you can't start conversations (only reply to ones you're already in), and you also can't post anywhere public on the site – so that's the news, the Corner, profiles, role play, the forums, saving trainer cards, etcetera.
So what your saying if im put into full read only i can't do anything basically? Only able to post in already made conversations. That's it? Sorry if i'm getting annoying but I just want to be sure this info is correct.
RP lock im able to do anything else thats not RP.
Full lock means i can only do pre-made private conversations.
alright thanks, I was just wondering.
Oh, just one more question, can people still invite me to their private conversation during full lock and be able to post on there?
I remember it now, How can you get a full lock? and how likely is it to happen? Have anyone else got it? Is both locks permanent? (Most likely but i just wanna make sure)
You get Read Only for either repeatedly breaking the rules so your warning points trigger it automatically, or doing something that makes it obvious that you're not going to be a good member of the community (being really nasty and flaming people, for example).
Read Only (whether for one specific section or everywhere) varies in how long it lasts – usually it lasts a couple of weeks or so, but it can be permanent if we deem it necessary.
Just enough to put you in moderation, but they expire after a while – your earlier warning expires on the 24th, which will take you out of moderation. (This assumes that you don't get any more warnings, of course. )
At the moment you have five as your first warning (which was for two points) has expired. But I'd personally be a lot less concerned with how many warning points you have and more concerned with how to follow the rules to avoid getting more.
