Basically: cool concept (that's been done before), cool art, some awesome fight scenes, poorly executed story and plot, terrible characters which could be replaced by potatoes.

A lot of my rl friends enjoyed it, but once Asuna was demoted to just waifu material I basically noped out. The Mother's Rosario arc is actually really cool, though.

I don't like it either. The art and animation is pretty, but like Shiny Lyni said, the story and the characters are not so great. I also find Kirito to be a bit of a Gary-Stu, but that might just be me.
