Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
I leave for three weeks; no one notices.
Someone leaves for a day or two; everyone freaks out.
A pet of mine that was close dies; no one cares or notices.
A pet of someone else's is just slightly ill; everyone freaks out.
I suffer depression; no one cares.
Someone is just "sad"; everyone shows major support.
I try hard and fail too often.
Do I actually mean anything? People actually seem to forget me often...
I'm glad to know at least a few people care..
At my school people are always like "You have friends?"
I'm bullied and no one there shows me support, I often find myself crying, grieving for a pet I lost...
And I try to hide it and be fun and outgoing, but I just get turned away and forgotten...
I feel like a thorn in everyone's side; something to be plucked off and forgotten...
For those who don't know this; depression is NOT just "wanting attention", "whining", and sadness...
It's much more than that; in fact, it's even more than just self hatred, sorrow, constant fear, pain...and sometimes, those who suffer don't survive; some decide to slice the line, to get rid of themselves and die...
Depression isn't easy and isn't a game...it's horror..
No, no. That's not right at all. Nobody should be treated like that. Heck, I left for over a month or two (I think. I damaged my head a bit) and nobody noticed, with the exception of you guys, so I don't see why people feel like it's ok to do that. And for the pet- I lost my favorite horse, I damaged my brain and have to start over on my riding career. It's depressing, but obviously not as bad as yours.
It's more than mine, actually...you lost something close to you, have to start over your riding career, and have harmed yourself...and I'm glad you're back...
In fact, you're one of the few actual friends I have here...
