Joshua Garnet is damn correct: Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Watch the introductions (Which I guess is episode 1-5) and skip to episode 20. You don't want the boring fillers. Canon episodes: 20-25, 34-65, 74-203.

If you want an anime that is continuing, I recommend Detective Conan. You won't regret the fillers. Most of the anime is filler, but you won't regret it. Yet, there are some canon episodes.

Naruto's filler is boring. I don't even bother. I watch Shonen Jump anime, so I highly recommend the new Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan anime coming out. Amazing plot, really creative, fascinating characters.
