Yup! :D @Demelza had talked a lot about it over the years and I finally decided to give the anime a shot at some point last year.
I'm aware that the first season takes liberties on the source material (and that second season was completely original) but I love the majority of Black Butler's characters and general premise of the series. Book of Circus was great, too. ^^

I found Black Butler in a similar way XD My friend was ranting about it a ton, so I decided to give it a watch.
Though a know a lot of people disliked/hated the 2nd season, I found myself loving it. I mean, the new characters were pretty cool imo, and Alois is my favorite character of the whole show even though he's not a canon character.

Season 2 sits in an interesting place for me. When I first watched it I was aware of Book of Circus' existence, so I think that tainted my appreciation of it a bit. I also wasn't a massive fan of how the season ended with Ciel, but I did enjoy its original characters. They made it fun.

There's a certain Fairy Tail episode that's apparently either completely filler or very, very padded, and it's honestly one of my favourite episodes in the entire series (and definitely made me cry). It's funny how that can happen.
And then of course there's the original FMA anime, which I honestly adore. I say, each to their own! You like what you like. ^^

Ah, yes. I didn't appreciate the ending of season 2. Though it wasn't canon, it still made me quite upset how Ciel (Spoilers if you haven't seen the show and are reading this) just left his manor, his servants, and it seemed like his complete mood changed just because he was a demon. (Spoiler warning over) But now I walk around saying Olè! And everyone thinks I'm mental XD
And with that, back to watching Black Butler season 3!
