To be honest, I generally make it a rule not to talk about the reasons why people get warnings - it just seems really impolite and can sometimes be really cruel to the people involved. If she wants to tell you, I would recommend hearing it from her instead.

Ahh, yes. We do explain this in the rules, but I'm happy to explain for you: When you get warnings, you get "warning points", which only staff can see. We give out different numbers for different warnings - flaming gets you a lot more than spam, for example.

Once you have too many, you get put in moderation - and if you get even more than that, you eventually get put into read only. You have to get quite a lot of points to get there, though.

Eventually, your warnings expire, which means they stop counting against your warning points. That means you're eventually let out of read only or moderation once time passes. That said, we can put people into read only permanently if we need to.
